I never had accidents to push the button to go off, but I've been real pleased with LifeFone. My daughter purchased it because I’m losing my eyesight and I live alone. She saw I needed to have it if I’ve fallen in the bathroom, or in the house. And so far, I would recommend LifeFone to anybody.

I'm 87 and once in a while I still got problems that I fall so my kids were kind of after me to get a life alert. So when my son asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told him I wanted the smart alert and he gave me LifeFone, which came handy. I'm glad I have it because if something does happen, I could push the button. I'm well satisfied with it and I can't complain about the people who work at LifeFone. When the alert went off they asked if they could help me or I could get somebody. However one time, I was a little disappointed because they had the ambulance and so many people come over here. They made me sit on a chair and they questioned me like I was on a court trial. All LifeFone had to do was call my neighbors across the street because I've got them on there that if something happens, they’d be the ones to come over and if they feel that I need an ambulance it's up to them to call.

I had back surgery and it went haywire. I was going with a walker then two canes outside. And that time I did fall and it broke my back. I did something to the L1 so I'm on a walker all the time now or in a wheelchair if I go anywhere. So I had to have the LifeFone or else I couldn't be home by myself. And I know it’s there if I need it. It gives my husband more peace of mind. He feels like he can go out and do things outdoors or if he has to go to town. Also, I test the device every month and the LifeFone team was always very nice.

I deal with a headache that’s at a 4 seven days a week. I was hospitalized twice for really bad headaches and I was thought to have cellulitis of my temples and I lost sight in my left eye completely. My balance was totally off too so I walked into walls and chairs. The skin that got hit would all be broken and I'd be bleeding. My husband is a truck driver and he was afraid to leave me home by myself for fear that I could fall and nobody would know until he got home. He leaves at 7 o’clock in the morning and doesn’t get home until 9 o’clock at night. That was his main purpose for getting the LifeFone. The people at LifeFone have been most helpful when we called or when my beeper went off accidentally like when I hit it on the sink. I’d recommend LifeFone to somebody who is in a similar situation.

I live alone and I got osteoporosis so my bones are giving out and then I fall so I used LifeFone. I have a mobile piece and the other one is in my kitchen. However, it can’t hear me when it’s in the kitchen and that's the problem. I’ve told them several times that I can’t take the device elsewhere since I have no place to put it. I tried moving it in the bathroom but there’s not enough room for it so that didn’t work for me. I also tried it in my bedroom one time but then I don’t want to have to bring it back into my living room or kitchen in the daytime. It's a big device. I can pick it up with one hand but then I’ve got to get the charger and the outlet is another problem. I test and reboot it every month but then they scare me whenever I do that as they’d call an ambulance. I asked for a new one but the problem is it’s still in a place where they can’t hear me and I can barely hear them.

I only prefer the mobile one because I can take it with me and it does fine at night. It’s been plugged in all day and I don’t take it to bed until 9:30 then I get up in the morning and put it back on the charger again. And if I’m going to the store, I make sure it’s always charged up. The information says it’s good for 30 hours but I wouldn’t trust that. Then if I was gonna spend the night with a friend, I would take the charger with me. But if I were in my room with that pendant on, I can hear them but they can’t hear me and I’m on the floor.

I called them twice in the last year and a half. I sent my information like who to call and how to get in, but then they say they don’t have it so that’s been a disaster. I had the whole world here at one time. I said that I’m okay, I’m just on the floor and I can’t get up. My head is under my side table and I see lights at my window. I don’t mind it but I live in an elderly neighborhood so I asked them to leave the sirens off as they’ll scare the hell out of everybody. They were good both times about that.

So then I quit locking the door between my garage and my house so they could get in. They stood on the ground and at that point, it looked like I’m on the second floor although I’m really not. I kept saying, “I’m here. I’m in here. Don’t go away.” But they couldn’t hear. It took them a while and I thought, “Oh, wow.” They had me send the information again. Now I don’t know if it’s there or not. They have my number but I wonder why they never call.

I'm 87 years old, living alone and I have had a fall. It's nice having the LifeFone device especially if I'm out walking my dog and I should fall. However, I don't like the idea of me having to wear the wristband and carrying the other little portable device. But it's a very good system and I feel confident that if I did have an emergency, somebody would come to me like Johnny on the spot. Also, the people at LifeFone have been very congenial. But it was strange one time when I received in the middle of the night a call from them, asking me if I was okay when everything seems fine at my place and I wasn't wearing any of my alert device.

And the LifeFone team instantly responded. The woman that answered my call was very polite. I told her why I pushed the button and she said fine and thanked me for calling. It was a positive interaction with them. I appreciate knowing they're there if I needed help. The device works well and I can't imagine other brands that are better than this one. So I'm satisfied. The device makes me feel more secure which is good especially that I live alone, I'm in my 80’s and no one knows what can happen.

I don't wear it around my neck hardly ever, but I always keep it nearby in the house. I keep it at night hanging on my bed. When I take my showers I have it right handy in case. I never had to have LifeFone call an ambulance for me but I'm comfortable that they would in case something happens because they answer my call when I test it. I got my LifeFone alert device because I fall a lot. I have a bad back and neck and I can't get up when I fall. I recently moved and I have to hook the device back up and call them to get the service again, because I kept hitting the help button on the machine. Their people are nice, but sometimes it takes them forever to pick up when I call in on a month to test. I haven't had any emergency, but nobody called to check on me when I don't test the device. I've tested it three times in the last year, and if I fall in the house I'll be okay.

Sometimes I take off the device because I go out. Then I forget to put it back on when I get in the house. I know that they have a bracelet, and I had asked if I could get one but I never got that question answered. My Life Alert works through Wi-Fi and I was wondering why I can't have the one on my neck or the bracelet that no matter where I go they would find where I am, because I fall a lot when I'm not in the house and the device doesn't work unless I'm near the house. Also, I keep getting sent bills which I'm not supposed to be sent and they kept calling me and fixing it, but then I get the bills again.

I’m glad I got the LifeFone. I can call someone and don’t have to worry if I fall. One night, I didn’t know that the alarm went off. The weather forecast said that we could have severe storms during the night. I have one of those radio weather alerts that goes off whenever there’s a storm in the area or something in the vicinity. I was sound asleep and I heard something. My alert system for my LifeFone is in the kitchen and I was in the bedroom so I got to the hall. I still couldn’t hear it so I came all the way to the kitchen.

When I got there, I looked at my weather radio and that's not what's going off. Then I realized it was my LifeFone. It said "Emergency! Emergency!" and the rep was checking if I was okay. I said I was fine and I told my daughter that I hope they'd call my kids first before they call the fire department, the ambulance or somebody to come and check on me. If somebody comes in to my bedroom at night to see if I was alright it would scare the living daylights out of me because they know what’s the code to get in and get the key to get in here. But I'd definitely recommend them.

I got a LifeFone since I'm very old and there's a risk of falling. Also, I don't see very well, which is something that's been occurring gradually. I'm losing my eyesight. I'm glad I have it. I haven't had an emergency where I've had to call them, but I bumped it a few times and I’ve inadvertently set it off, and the response has been very quick. As a matter of fact, I was in another room and I thought I was hearing voices, and then I realized what it was, so then I responded to it. There was a beep and then the voice came on immediately. I want that immediate response in a real emergency. I'm very satisfied with LifeFone. It's amazing how fast their response is when I set the alarm off by mistake. They're very concerned, and they make sure everything is all right before they get off. Additionally, they know my name which is always nice.

My family lives out of town and they were the ones who set up my LifeFone for me. When my husband died, my daughter and her husband talked to me about getting something. My daughter insisted because she lives in North Carolina and can't get to me immediately. I'm able to walk around and everything, but I've had too many friends of mine fall. In fact one of my friends in my apartment building who already passed away fell and broke her hip. But her neighbor was on her Lifeline and was able to go right across the hall to her.

As for me, I feel more secure that I have the device. LifeFone answers quickly as soon as I push the button. There was one time when I was in the kitchen and I realized I pushed the button. And as soon as they answered it, I told them it was a mistake and they were very wonderful about it. Fortunately I have not cared to use it for an experience of any kind. I sometimes have trouble breathing, so I'm grateful I have the device. I used to have a little phone that my husband and I carry with us, because we usually have to drive to the doctor's office. But I like my LifeFone better and I wear it all the time.

It took LifeFone a long time to get on the phone. I called them a few days ago and it said, "This is a recording." And they kept saying, "Emergency, emergency." I could be dead by the time they got through with saying that. But they were nice and the rep asked if I needed help and I said, "No, I was just checking my system." Their response time is not really good and I almost changed companies, but then I didn't because of their price. I had one that I was gonna change to and the price was higher so I stayed with LifeFone.

I have only the best experiences with LifeFone. I'm very satisfied with their service. I got a medical alert service because a dear friend told me that since I'm 88 years old, I should have something. I live next door to my cousin in a senior residence, and I always thought that we're in touch with one another all the time during the day and into the evening sometimes, but my friend was right that I needed something. My cousin and I both have LifeFone and we recommended them to a friend who also bought it.

I call LifeFone once a month to make sure everything is working and they're very prompt. In fact, I call to make sure that my wristlet is working, and shortly after, I had to call to make sure that the GPS part is working also, but I don't have to call them anymore. They call me. I feel like I am terrible at taking the GPS with me. I don't have it with me all the time and it's really stupid of me to be so negligent. I live in a brand new 22 million dollar senior building that doesn't have a dining room, so I have to walk outside to another building to have a meal.

I need to have that GPS with me and I am guilty of the same thing that one of my friends did when she went to a hotel. She had to leave this beautiful building and go to a hotel because we're having problems with moisture. She wears a pendant around her neck, but she didn't take it with her and she had a terrible experience. She fell off a couch. She suffered needlessly because she didn't do the right thing. The man who represents LifeFone here helped her out and he took care of it to make sure she has one. The GPS part of her operation was in another room and she couldn't get up by herself. Finally, after an hour, she had to get up which proves the point of the sale. A person needs something all the time no matter where he or she is. So, since her experience happened, I'm trying to be more cognizant, and now, the last thing I do before I go out the door is to take the GPS with me.

LifeFone is the first medical alert service that I have had. Four years ago I looked into getting a unit. I called our main medical supply place and talked to them about the system they recommend. I also talked to the hospital where I had just gotten out of after a really terrible scenario. It was something that happened to me where I could have used that alert and inquired about the system that they recommended but neither of these systems have a mobile unit. I slipped on the ice and fractured my femur and hip. I laid there for half an hour in 20 degrees. But before another tenant happened to come out, I didn't even realize I had my cellphone in my purse that I'm just unused to using it.

I started carrying my cellphone a 100% of the time. Night and day it was attached to me until a year ago when some issues came up with my health for the first time ever. I had a small stroke which affected one of my eyes and later found out that I have an irregular heartbeat. So now I take all this medicine and I feel worse than I ever felt. And because I live alone, we decided that having the alert system was a good idea. My daughters showed me various systems that she had run paperwork off the internet to show me what was available. I liked the looks of LifeFone so this is what we picked, and they arranged to get it.

Once, I had a false alarm when the mobile device was in my purse and I accidentally bumped it in the shopping cart and it went off. I was in the Walmart parking lot with a shopping cart full of stuff. And this thing in my purse was making horrible sounds. I discovered it was me. LifeFone came on and the rep was beyond thorough making sure that I was okay.

My daughter got me two pendants and one time one of them didn't test well. I called customer service about that. I also called them one time when I first got the set and the device battery charger wasn't exactly as described in the information booklet. One light kept staying on all the time. The lady I talked to didn't know the answer but researched it with somebody and was able to help me. I'm extremely happy with Lifefone. It keeps everybody's mind at ease that I've got it, especially if something happens. I also wear the pendant 100% all the time.

My grandson tried to get me to get LifeFone but I didn’t want another bill. So I wound up upstairs for five days on the floor without food or water because of my stubbornness and I was lucky to be alive. So my grandson got it for me right away. One night, I had my detector in the house go off. I pressed it so the reps could dial 911 for me so I could open the front door and turn the light on for the fire department. The rep called back to make sure I opened the front door. I was in my recliner and I can't rush to get out of the recliner. I figured if they called the emergency for me, I could take my time getting out of the chair so I wouldn’t fall. So it worked out good.

Then, in October of last year, I was home for one day. I had cellulitis in my ankle and a bone spur in my foot. I went to go in the bathroom and the door swung open and it sliced under my right arm. It knocked me off balance. LifeFone had to call 911 for me because I was sitting in blood. The reps had to call my daughter and get this number for them to dial in my garage and come through the laundry room where there were mops. There was that much blood and they had to mop the floor.

The reps were very nice. A couple of days ago, I was folding the blankets and I must’ve leaned on the LifeFone and it went off. They came on right away. The device is around my neck, and it gets all over. This one will go off even though I don’t push it and it’s a little heavier than the other one. But all in all, I recommend LifeFone as soon as people tell me they have older parents. It’s wonderful.

I bought a LifeFone for my mother. She used hers a couple of times when she broke her hip and the people at LifeFone were right there. I’m really confident in it. It worked well for her so I got one for myself when I became a widow and live alone. I've been with LifeFone for five years, and the people there have always been very polite. My device is working fine. I wear it around my neck. I got rid of the string and put it on a chain instead.

LifeFone was suggested by a friend who also lives alone and I figured that it was the right thing to do. I used to wear it around my neck, but I found that troublesome when I slept so now I wear it on my wrist. One time I fell and broke my wrist and LifeFone called the people on the call list. Some of them got over here and helped me get myself together and get to the hospital. LifeFone has been very responsive, warm and very helpful. It's a good idea to have it and reassuring to my children. I'm happy to have it.

There were a couple of times when my mother has fallen and LifeFone alert did not respond. I wasn't happy about that. They said there was no signal into their office, so they didn't receive an emergency call through their call center. So my brother looked into it and got a replacement necklace. One thing I don't like is if my mother's LifeFone is in her bedroom, if that was to even go off as an emergency test, she cannot hear it because she can't hardly hear and has a hearing aid. So if they say, "Eleanor, Eleanor, is everything okay?" and if she doesn't reply, then they send out an emergency response.

There's been a couple of times where she has accidentally pressed the button, but did not understand why the call center came online and she was wondering if I was there although I wasn't. There has been a time where we didn’t need them, but I myself had to get a hold of LifeFone once because my mom was unconscious and I couldn't let that wait. It was good that they came to my rescue and were here at a reasonable time to take her to the hospital.

I love LifeFone. My friend’s mother had a LifeFone and they were from New York. When the time came that I was by myself, he felt that it’s what I needed so he got it for me. It’s been great and I wear it all the time as a wrist band rather than a pendant. The pendant was in the way and the only time I take it off with the wristband is when I take a shower or shampoo my hair. I’ve been wearing it a good while now and I had fallen several times and it really means a lot. I haven’t had to use it as I’ve managed to get up.

I have macular degeneration and my vision is very, very poor almost to the point of I just see light and that’s about it. Though I realize LifeFone’s biggest push has to do with “Help, I can’t get up,” it has made me feel secure for a lot of reasons. I live alone, 90 years old, and I don’t have anyone other than dear friends and they’re getting far and few in between as well. For me, LifeFone means being able to be in touch with somebody. Not just to call the police but especially if I didn’t know what I should do.

It could be used for other things as well and it is true there’s somebody there to talk to. I discontinued my cellphone because I’m not driving anymore then my landline went out and I didn't know what to do because I have a friend who calls frequently. I called LifeFone and told them my situation and asked them if they could call and tell her I’m fine but my telephone is out and then ask her to call the telephone company. It was a tremendous help and I am totally and completely satisfied. I really don’t have any problems about it at all and would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody.

I had a heart attack a number of years ago and I live alone. I passed out when I had the heart attack and I had my cellphone, and I called 911 from my cellphone and got a 911 operator that argued why wasn't I calling from my home phone. After the heart attack, I said, "Well, I gotta do something about this." So I got a medical alert device. I lived in a home prior to this and had another system for quite a while. When I moved to this retirement community, I could get LifeFone for half of that.

My biggest concern at this very moment is that I'm in a brand new building that has a design flaw. Everybody in the building has to be relocated for two to three weeks and they're putting me up in a suite at a hotel, which is very nice. But I don't think I can take my LifeFone with me. I've called the gentleman that installed my LifeFone and he's finding out for me. They're always very nice and when I call to make sure that my LifeFone is working and they always tell me to be sure I check again next month, which I do. LifeFone gives me a great sense of security, which I'm going to miss if I can't get it at the hotel. I've been very satisfied with the service.

I'm 91 years old and my son stays with me two or three nights a week, and then I'm alone so I wanted a medical alert service for peace of mind, especially when I go down the basement because my laundry is down there. Even if I have a phone there, if I fall and I'm not near the phone, then I couldn't reach it. A friend of mine got the LifeFone medical alert service and kept investigating them. She liked the service because they have somebody in the United States that answers, not someone out of the country. That's why we picked LifeFone.

I'm doing alright with them and I'm satisfied. I have not had any troubles. It just seems to me that it rings a little long, about six or so times, before somebody answers. They tell me to check the alert device at least once a month to make sure it's working all right. I try to remember to check it once a month, but sometimes I forget and go over a little bit, but I usually check it. I would recommend LifeFone to anyone.

I got a medical alert device because of my age and health. LifeFone was mentioned to me and I went with them. They're very good. I have a little trouble in walking. I have to use a walker, and sometimes I can't get it in my utility room, and I have to walk and hold on to things. So, I figure that if I fall, I can just smash the alert button and get some help. My daughter lives with me but she couldn't pick me up. So, it's either call the medical alert service or call 911.

I've spoken with the LifeFone guys a couple of times when I accidentally hit my alert button. I've had them out here twice. At one time, I didn't even know that I touched the alert button. I was in the bathroom taking a bath and the next thing I know, an ambulance was pulling up in the yard. So, my daughter goes out there and says, "She's okay." The cat had weighed down the alert button. Its meowing had apparently gotten into the system and they thought that I was hollering, "Help!" So, they sent somebody out. This medical alert device is not mobile. It just works in the house. I'm thankful that we're close to a fire station. But when I go out, my daughter's with me and I've got a wheelchair, so I'm okay.

That's one of the best choices I've ever made because once you're on the floor and nobody is around to help you, you can't get up because your legs are too weak. I had a stroke and it paralyzed my left side. It has been a life saver. A telephone won't help since I'm partially blind and I can't see the numbers right. I fell a couple of times already and I pressed the button on the necklace around my neck. They responded and it took them 25 minutes to come and pick me up. The only thing is when they sent me another thing that you press, it doesn't work too good, it sometimes doesn't respond. I have the original one, but I don't how long the battery is gonna last or how long it's gonna last for me.

It's one of the most important things I have right now. My daughter had something else that was called Life Alert first and they didn’t seem to be as helpful as LifeFone were but it was so expensive. They went and charged me a lot each month for all these, so my daughter got rid of them. One time I went to the eye doctor and this girl that was working there put drops in my eyes. Then I felt like something was going to explode right in the middle of my eye, burning through the cornea. I was in excruciating pain. The device really helped me that day because the ambulance came and they took me to the hospital. I had a hip surgery, and I had fallen a few times before. Also, when I get down, I can’t get back up. I then got a LifeFone, and I've been very satisfied with it. It’s been a great help for me. Although I don’t always get through when I push the button, but when I do, they send a truck, and my son gets here about the same time the ambulance gets here, within 10 minutes or so.

I’m in good health, however, I’m 88 years old and the kids worry a little bit because I live alone. I got a LifeFone to give them peace of mind. The LifeFone reps were fantastic. I have no complaints. There was one time when I over-exercised and pulled some muscles in my chest. I woke up around 1 o’clock in the morning with chest pains, so I thought I’d check my LifeFone up. I used it but it turned out I was okay.

When they would come, there are usually three fellows and they would bring in a professional ambulance truck that hospitals use. But, the customer is charged $100 or more for it which I don't like as it is not fair.

I pushed the button and they got someone to help me. My knee and thigh are still numb, I scarred my knees up and had bruises all over and spent the next four days in the hospital. Now I’m back strong and doing fine.

I haven’t had any problem with LifeFone and they’re all very nice. My mom had died and my sister lives in another county so I'm living by myself. I have a herniated disc, problems walking because I’m having collagen stuff in my knees, and just a lot of health problems. My mom used to have a medical alert device and my niece said she's gonna give me one. I said I couldn't pay for it but she told me not to worry about it. She said I need one because my legs become numb and give way. She got in touch with somebody she knows from LifeFone and they came out and installed it so I’ve been wearing it ever since.

LifeFone is good to have and I have used it once. They couldn’t really understand what was going on because I was up at one end of my trailer and my monitor was back in the bedroom where the operator can hear me and knew I needed help. I told her I was almost passing out and at the time I was real dizzy. I didn’t know if it was diabetic or heart, but the longer I stayed up, I just felt like I was gonna pass out. I haven't had any problem before because of an overactive bladder like hurting, burning, or straining. And so, they said they would send someone out and they came with the cops and the fire department. They carried me on down to the Carrollton hospital and luckily enough, it was nothing but a bladder infection.

I've been in and out of the hospital so many times so I needed a medical alert device. My daughter decided to get me a LifeFone. The funny about it was that when I called and they showed up, they couldn’t get in the house. I have a very touchy lock with the key in it. They turned the key back and forth, and they kept locking themselves out. I had to tell the lady that they were pushing too hard, and it being a touchy one would keep on locking out. So I heard her on the phone tell them and they finally got it, but it took them more than an hour to come in and get me. I use the lock all the time, so I didn’t realize that I needed to tell that to anybody.

I’m pending disability and my parents are paying my bills right now. We had difficulties with Walgreens Ready service. When we would need the 911 service, they wouldn’t give the EMTs the right information. Then there were several other mistakes that had occurred, and finally we decided to get a LifeFone. With Lifefone, my personal experience when I've been conscious has been fine and everybody has been friendly.

One time my friend had pushed the button, but I was unconscious because I had several seizures in a row and was having a grand mal seizure. There were two people here and they both said the LifeFone rep was rude. The rep was having difficulty hearing them and maybe she thought it was a prank or she could have had a previous caller that had done that. I don’t know if it was because it was a panicked situation or if there was something that was blocking. I have the LifeFone in the middle of my apartment, and so I’ve been heard from my bedroom and from my living room when I was unconscious there. Overall Lifefone has been a decent service. I’m only 42, so it’s hard for me to get used to it. Until a couple of years ago, I was working as a nurse, so it’s been a big adjustment.

My pressure had gone very low so I'd fallen and was unconscious for a second or two. I came to and instead of calling 911, I used my LifeFone. I was calm and able to speak with them. They tried to get in touch with my daughter who was out of town and then called another number that they had. It was very prompt and good.

We have LifeFone for many years now and what has happened in the past was my mom would live up here with me for a while and then decide she wants to go live with my sister down in Texas for a while. LifeFone has always been very good about working with us - where we transport the equipment down from one location to the other, plug it in, push the button and say that now she’s in Texas or Oregon. The transfer has always been done without any problems except the the last time she came up here, the people and contact phone numbers were not changed from the Texas numbers and names to the information up here.

My mom experienced a fall several weeks ago. My sister was with my mom at the time and called 911. Somehow LifeFone did get connected and my sister down at Texas was called. She had no idea what was going on. By the time I put all the pieces together and called LifeFone to find out exactly what was going on and why my sister was contacted instead of me, that’s when I found out that the names and phone numbers were still in accordance to her Texas location. So I had the person I was talking to change it.

I thought he either had a heart attack or a stroke. I was trying to get some response from him and I couldn’t so I hit the LifeFone button. I was really upset and couldn’t remember what the rep told me at first, so I hit it again and she told me to calm down and that the rescue squad was on its way. She was friendly and helpful. The EMTs came and when they were working on my husband, they told me I needed to get my dogs out of the way so I put them in the bathroom. That was the first time I've used it in an emergency.

It works wonderfully because one time, I almost fell and I had the pendant around my neck and I pressed it. I was pleased that the paramedics came within 15 seconds. I told my son I like it so I now wear the watch all the time. It's really good and very comfortable. It's convenient. My oldest son lives with me and whenever he goes out, I know I have protection. I used to wear the pendant around my neck. But whenever I got ready to turn over, a lot of times, it somehow presses itself, so I don't wear it. But I wear the watch all the time, in case something happen and no one is with me.

I researched and liked the fact that LifeFone has a mobile GPS that can go with her if she wanted to go out with friends, and if there was an issue, LifeFone could always find her and help her. It's also movable, like when she went to visit my sister over the holidays and stayed there for six weeks, we called LifeFone and they set it up for my sister's house. Then they set it back up here at my house when my mom came back. They've been absolutely wonderful. They're very patient in walking me through the steps when the device's light comes on to tell us "test". They also got someone out here right away to help us out when we've needed it. When we needed the Lifefone team, they've been very good and courteous every time in giving a response. Whenever I have pushed the button, it's been great. I've used it many times and it's very sensitive. When we dress sometimes, we forget and let it fall and it's activated. However, my husband had two falls in the past couple of months, and neither one of them activated when he fell. I don't know whether it was because it was too soft a fall and didn't pick up or it was just a fluke.
