Everything's been positive with the ADT Medical Alert team. Primarily, I chose ADT due to their name. They've been in business for a long time.

I use an ADT medical alert device. I'm quite a bit older than I was and I had some medical problems for a while. They're all gone, but I decided to keep the device. I didn't check the system very often. I was having some problems with it, but I did call them. This was eight months ago and whatever they did, they reset it and it works fine now. I haven't had any problems.

My sister set up ADT Medical Alert for our mom. When we were having some trouble with it beeping, I called the company and they were able to get it resolved right away.

My ADT medical alert device has been good. It works really well. It's reliable. We ran into a problem with charging because it requires daily switching of the charger, and I tried to explain to them, "This isn't working." They said, "Just leave it plugged in, period," and that's been working fine. The device is good not only for medical, but also for emergencies. We have the ADT security system in addition, and it's been exceptional. I hate the cost of it. It's hard because it's been expensive and it's continuing to be expensive.

Updated on 09/27/2024: Since my prior review of this company and several more interactions with people that have 'titles' this situation has gotten worse.. Titles mean nothing if the person does nothing.. I keep getting passed around from person to person and all of them keep asking the same questions so I've just been copying and pasting my responses from prior emails, might have well save my typing..

Everything's gone well with ADT. When my husband has pushed the button, they have immediately contacted me. Most of the time, I'm in the house and I can hear the alarm go off. One time, he fell in the bedroom and the machine notified me. I heard the buzzer go off. I can be outside on the patio and still hear it. With ADT, my husband feels more secure that somebody's gonna hear if he falls or if he needs help. Also, I don't have to worry and keep an eye on him 24/7. I can be anywhere in the house or closely outside, or even further away because they would call me first before they called 911. I have more range.

My mother wears her ADT Medical Alert device all the time. ADT contacted me several times when the device needed to be charged.

I received my ADT Medical Alert device and I got it set up. I live alone and I have lots of health problems, and it gives me security knowing that I can call someone at a moment's notice. The alert team is very good. Any time I press the button, they are very good. Once I pressed it and didn't mean to, they were very polite and didn't fuss at me.

I had a fall and it was because of passing out. My daughter said, "Mom, we gotta get some program where you can notify in case of emergency." Someone gave me the ADT number. We got it and it makes me feel a lot more secure. I am alone. It helps me to stay by myself, be more independent and not worried all the time that maybe I shouldn't go do that, I might pass out. I wear mine all the time. But, I can't wear them in the shower and I would not wanna do that 'cause it's too expensive. Every waking moment, I get dressed and I check to make sure that I have that on.

I got the On-The-Go. I still drive, and I commute to the store, to church and to appointments. In the event that I should fall, having the medical alert is good. I feel safer knowing that I do have something and that I can get help, instead of using my phone.

The green lights that show the bars keep turning to blue. I've had it reset several times. ADT Medical Alert would always fix it and it would be fine, but it would go back. So, I have this unit up against a white wall and the blue and green would flash in the room all day. It's aggravating. I don't wanna have to keep calling. But I like the security of knowing it's there if I need it. However I have a large wrist, so the watch barely fits. All that vinyl or plastic makes it a little sweaty. I don't really care for it.

I've had good luck with the representatives at ADT. I stopped by the site when the battery went dead and they replaced it. The device makes me think more as to what I'm doing as I'm doing it. If I'm going down steps, I'm grabbing my handrail right away. On Labor Day weekend, we were playing frisbee out in the yard and when I took a tumble, it went off off. But I took a tumble six months ago in my backyard, and it did not go off. It went off when I was in the shower from the water hitting it. It went off the other day when I was out mowing my yard. They interrupted me while I was mowing to make a phone call. I didn't even know my unit had gone off. It's not loud enough, or it should emit a vibration also. I've worn it to bed, and I've been interrupted two minutes after 1:00 in the morning with a phone call from them. They were telling me the system was going off and asking me if I was okay. I was lying on top of it and didn't even hear it.

I wanted a bracelet and I didn't want something hanging around my neck. There weren't that many other options and I ended up getting the ADT Medical Alert device. I wear it on my wrist but I haven't noticed any difference so far. I would tell my friends that if the price is right, they can get it, too. We're all seniors and the money is very important.

My ADT alert device makes me feel comfortable in case I needed someone. I've had other people tell me that they had a much larger device, but mine's small. I make sure that I have it on my night stand at night and I have it where I can have access to it during the day. I don't wear it that much. I'm always afraid that I might accidentally mash the button and call when I don't really need anybody. On the first of every month, I test it. I get a yellow light on my little station that says that it needs to be tested. I bring my little device where it's by the phone. I mash the little button like if I needed help then the operator answers and I tell them that I'm just doing a test.

I'm very well pleased with the service of ADT. I've not had any problems. Everything has been positive in my experience.

Having the ADT Medical Alert device gives me confidence. In case anything happens, I can push the button, or if I fall, I know that it's there and I'm gonna get the help that I need. I'm stronger now, but I even still twist and I have issues with falling. I have vertigo as well.

I'm satisfied with ADT Medical Alert. When I fall, they ask me if I'm okay or not. They're very nice.

My family thought of getting a medical alert device because of my age. I have a daughter-in-law that lives real close to me. But it's comforting to have a button to push if you need it.

ADT Medical Alert is competent. Every time I needed them, they were always there for me. Every time I've gotten sick, their response has always been there to get the EMTs to take care of me, and they would come here and would be there responsibly. They notify my family to allow them to know what was going on with me, if I would be admitted to the hospital or not. It's a peace of mind that the family knows what's going on. It’s also confidence, especially when I'm by myself. It seems an invisible person with me because I don't have to worry if something happens. Last year, the day before New Year's, I was hit in the back and was unable to move, but I was able to hit my medical alert wristband and ambulance came out. That was a plus for me.

I fall easily and I had an alert system that wasn't working for me at all. So I called ADT and asked them a few questions. They answered them and I liked their answers. So I ordered their system, set it up, and they cut off the other one. So far, I've only had one problem the whole time I've had it and ADT let my emergency contact know that they answered the call from me. But at the time, they couldn't hear me and instead of just saying they couldn't hear me, they told my emergency contact, my granddaughter, that I was unresponsive. My granddaughter took that to mean I was dead. She lives further from the hospital than I did and she beat the ambulance to the hospital. So, I told ADT that from now on, even if they can't hear me or they think I'm dead, they should just to tell her they can't hear what I'm saying.

We have ADT security system for the house and I became interested in their medical alert when I had a bad fall on my patio. I've used it several times, and it's been great. I was on my steps in the driveway. It's three brick steps and I felt weak then all of a sudden, I was down the steps and laid in the driveway. I had it on at that time, and they got the alert. They answered me and I waited for somebody to come. It was 20 minutes before they got here. I wear the device all the time but I took it off today when I was at my doctor's office. I was out of reach so it wouldn't have done me any good.

I became ill and I'm living by myself, so I needed someone to be able to contact right away. So, I got the ADT Medical Alert. I wear it around my neck all the time, so I know that if I need it, it's there. Their people are always very nice and concerning. When I needed to use the service, they responded in about three to five minutes. It wasn't long at all, because the security guards were right there within a few minutes. But after a while, the rope around my neck kind of wears. The pendant itself is fine though.

I heard that there was a device that you could wear and it will alert individuals that you have fallen or needed some assistance. I already have ADT as a system for my home so I looked into having them supply my medical alert needs as well. Their medical alert team has been wonderful. Everyone's so helpful and caring. It's a little expensive for me. But it's worth it. It's keeping me alive when my daughter's away and can't babysit me. I'm grateful.

ADT is a good company. There was a few times when I didn't leave the device in the cradle long enough, and they said it was low, and they called my children. So, they're on top of things.

I check on the alert every month and ADT Medical Alert would reset it.

I'm happy with ADT Medical Alert. What I like about it is because it's got GPS. However, I had to return it because my battery was low. It wouldn't take a charge. Initially, when I got it a couple of years ago, they said, "You don't wanna overcharge it. If it turns green, you don't wanna leave it there forever." Then they told me when I got the new one, they said, "Put it on when you go to bed on the charger and leave it there until morning." I'm a little confused about that. Other than that, I'm fine with it.

ADT is a great company for the monitoring and the security system. I've been with them for 30 years and I love them. They're very dependable. But with the medical alert, it’s a different story. I had just gotten the device in the mail and when I plugged it in, I was not getting connection. I called and tried to get that hooked up correctly. But the agent was rude, like I should have known automatically how to do it, but I’d never done it. He had no customer service savviness in him. I ended up returning the device and got a new one that worked.

I feel a little more secure with the device, but I take it off to take a shower, and I can't mow the grass when I'm wearing it. Besides that, the ADT medical alert team has been great. If my battery starts going low, they notify my people in addition to calling me, and if I my alarm goes off, they also call me and my people in a timely fashion.

I know ADT Medical Alert is there if we need help. When we do our test and stuff, everything's good.

I've got nothing but good things to say about ADT Medical Alert. It's been very good. I fell a couple of times, and they came and got me.

When ADT On-The-Go came out, it sounded what I'd needed because I wanted to take it with me. I got ADT On-The-Go and I've been extremely satisfied with it. I like the lockbox on my door. When I pressed the button and they sent someone to me, they could use the lock box to get in. I could yell the passcode for my ADT alarm. I didn't have to drag myself across the floor like my cousin did recently. When I used it, they were very kind, thorough and business-like. They took my medical information and got my medicine list off my refrigerator door like I was told to put it there. They did everything for me. They ran around and got me the things I needed before I left for the hospital.

We signed up with ADT online and there was a glitch with one of the phone numbers. We called them and they fixed it right away. We got the device five days after we applied for it and it's for my mom who lives with me. She wears it as a necklace any time she's out of bed and it doesn't bother her at all. But I help her shower so she doesn't wear it in the shower. One time, she fell and she didn't quite understand that she needed to push that button. But we solved all of that. We also do testing and it might take a few rings but they always answer. A light flashes as an indicator that lets you know when you have to test and you just hit the button. Then it rings and they tell you everything is good. Having the device is a comfort to me for when I'm not home. For my mom, it gives her peace of mind to know she can get help if she does fall.

My device is on my night stand. I put it on and move around. When I take a shower, it's with me. I feel safe.

The ADT Medical Alert team was always very concerned and they were able to get the ambulance when we needed it. They were very responsive. The Medical Alert is something you can rely on and you need it when you get older. They test it every month and they call me up when I hit the button on that thing around my neck.

I fell on July 3rd and my ADT button didn't work. I couldn't crawl on my knees or my shoulders because I have arthritis. So, I had to just walk on my butt. I pushed and pushed my button, but it didn't work. When I called ADT later about that, they said it would cost me $30 to get a new one. So I told them that I didn't want to have anything more to do with them. I have also fallen a few times in the last two years and most of the other times, I got a good response from ADT. Although it took a long time to get them to answer the phone, which might be because there were other emergencies. But I was happy with their device until the day it didn't work. They were good people but I couldn't understand why they would charge me $30 for that.

I have more assurance that I'm safer now that I have my ADT Medical device. One night, it started blinking on my nightstand. I contacted them the following morning and they said that there was an outage with ADT. I've had other people tell me about other companies, but I'm very pleased with ADT.

A medical alert device was recommended and I heard about ADT Medical Alert in my email. I went with them and I have good experience with them. I like their customer service.

My experience with ADT has been very good. The medical device goes around my neck and it makes me feel comfortable. Several years ago, I fell and I broke the ball on my hip. I was in the bedroom and they asked if they could send the emergency out for me and I told them to first call my son because he was on the property. My son came in and from the way I was laying, he told them to send the ambulance. Also, they called me this morning because they said I show a low battery, so they're gonna send me out a new one.

I had a few instances where the pendant didn't work and I've had three different pendants. But it's amazing how when I do have an incident, ADT calls my daughter and my son. They were very quick to respond and the paramedics came very quickly too. The call system calls me right away and I make sure the button goes off if I fall. I've had about four instances where they had to come and help me out. That's kind of reassuring that if I do have problems, I know that somebody is on the other end of that pendant and they can help me.

I like the fall detection feature of the ADT Medical Alert. After I came off oxygen, I noticed that I was still having issues with losing my balance. I also consulted with my mom about getting one and my mom was eventually gonna get one herself. She said that would be one of the best things that I could do. Originally, I got the medical alert for around the house. But when I was away from home, I wouldn't be able to notify the medical alert folks that I had a fall.

I was living alone and had several health issues. I decided to have ADT and I've been using them for years. When the button got pushed accidentally or on purpose, I had to contact them and we fixed what the issue was. I've been satisfied in my dealings with ADT.

My father used his ADT because he couldn't get my mother's attention. He didn't know where she was, and he heard a noise and thought she had fallen, so he pushed the button. They contacted me, and I went over and let them know that it was just him trying to make sure she wasn't hurt. She's immobile. The device is doing a great job. They have been responsive the times that we have needed them.

I wear the necklace all the time, and it's very comfortable. I forget that I have it on. It works within 600 feet of the home base. I had an instance where I fell outside the yard and it was within 600 feet. It was amazing that it went off. ADT's response is instantaneous, and I feel wonderful about it. What's even better is I talk to a person every time, not a computer. That's huge in my book.

I wear my ADT Medical Alert all the time and I like it. They're cheaper than MobileHelp. ADT makes me more confident that if I would fall, then someone would be here to help me.

I had a bad fall and my daughter got the ADT Medical Alert for me. I just turned 86, so my balance is not as good as it should be. So, I am really glad I've got it. I'm very comfortable with it. I keep it on my neck all the time. I wish I had it when I fell because I was really in a bad way. I check it at least once a month and make sure it's still working good. But other than that, everything’s going good with it.

One time, I set it off accidentally and I had the EMTs at the door. The other two times they called me and I heard the buzzing on the base and I said I was fine. So far, it's been fine because I've never needed it. I'm satisfied. I feel secure. But I have one thing that makes me dissatisfied. You can't put it on hold if you go away unless you send everything back. I go away in the winter for two to three months and I'm still paying for it, and I don't take it with me. They tell me, "Oh, you can take it with you." I'm not packing that to go on an airplane. You can just put your TV on vacation mode. You can put other things on vacation mode, but you can't with this. So, I'm paying two months price for nothing.

I had a notice the other day that I had an alarm, which I didn't know why there was an alarm. ADT Medical Alert called. I called them back. They put me on hold. I told them it was an error. They said, "Okay," and hung up on me. I didn't know what happened. They called all the people on my list - my wife, daughters, son - and I told them that it was an error. I'm not impressed with the alarm. It was terrible. When I called to tell them it was an error, and to be put on hold, was inexcusable. What if it was an actual alarm and I called back to tell them I needed help?

My ADT Medical Alert device functions well. I put it on when I go to church. Sometimes, when I'm driving, I would be a little dizzy so I just put it on when I leave and take it off when I come back. The comfort is good because all I do is put it on, and in case something happens, I can press the button to get help. It's really good to have because you never know what's going to happen.

I feel less concerned about falling since having my ADT Medical Alert device. The ADT team had to come once to my house. They're very professional and they did a great job.

This is my father-in-law’s third month using ADT Medical Alert and we've had a few alerts though my father-in-law didn't really fall. But that's better than nothing at all. It's a necklace and if he falls so many feet, it'll go off. It's $45 a month so that's not bad and it's been good doing business with ADT.

The response time when I use the ADT button is two minutes. It's good.

I really don't like the ADT Medical Alert device. It's for my mom. I do the testing every other month, and it takes them too long to get back with her. Nobody recommended me to do the testing. I do it on my own because they don't do any testing once a month that I know of. I do it to see how quick they are gonna respond if she's in distress in any way, and they do not respond quick enough. I don't like it, and I am searching around for another necklace for her. My mom is elderly and if she pushed that button, I wanna know that within minutes they're gonna respond quickly to her, and they can hear her, and not have her go in certain areas where it's supposed to be in range. It's apparently not in range.

With ADT Medical Alert, I feel more comfortable when I'm out and about and even at home. I'm happy with what I have. It's very easy to work with and it doesn't bother me to wear the neck chain so I'm very comfortable with it. If I'm in one place where I can't get to the phone, it's nice to have the wrist watch. When I double-check that my equipment is working, they are very nice and easy to talk to. I have recommended the device to other people in my age bracket.

I prematurely got this for my Son. Unfortunately he has taken a turn for the worse. And never activated it but was charged for monthly use. Called. Was supposed to been cancelled in March. Got a bill yesterday for two months. Once again never been activated. And talked to representative was to be cancelled in March. Obviously not so I guess ADT just sends bills taking advantage of people dealing with worse case scenario of a child dying.

I wear my ADT up and down the stairs and around the house, and it works fine. After a stroke, I got the device so that if I were incapacitated or alone or I fell, I’d have a way of getting ahold of somebody.

It's a little too sensitive than I thought it would be. If I happen to drop it or do something, I get a call right away that something's wrong and I get to my control and tell them that there's no problem. When they come, they're very polite but as soon as I mention that they shouldn't be here, they leave.

With ADT medical alert, I'm more secure at night. I dropped it and it's supposed to detect when there's a fall. It started beeping right away. I called right away and said that I had simply dropped the device. They were very prompt to respond.

I've had ADT and ADT Medical Alert for a long time, and I'm pleased. I called them one time for reassurance that I have them if I need them. I have the device in the kitchen. It's got five little bars on it, and you call once a month. When one of those little bars starts blinking, it's time to call and have them reset it. When they reset it, they have you hang up and mash your button. They check your button and I've always heard them real plain. If it wasn't working properly, you wouldn't be able to hear them. I would recommend them 100%. I've had nothing but good results from every time I've called them. I'm also satisfied with the price. We would always hope it would be a little cheaper but they're very competitive.

I am an unhappy camper. I fell and pushed the button on the pendant on my neck one time, and the green light came on. I laid there for 20 minutes before somebody responded. That was ridiculous. About the time they responded, I pushed 911 and called for paramedics. If ADT Medical Alert doesn't respond in five or six minutes, who cares? If I was hurt, that would be different.

The quality is fine and I test it every month but the cost is rather expensive.

I've been very satisfied with ADT Medical Alert. I wear it every day. When I go out, I put the wrist one on. At home, I have the one around my neck. It's a good thing to have. It gives me more peace of mind, especially when I go out alone. One night, it went off but I didn't hear it. I felt terrible when they came to my door.

It's very comforting to know I have my ADT Medical Alert on hand. It's been great.

The pendant is a little heavy to me so I asked for the watch. The device works. With little things that go wrong, the reps are here. I hope they can let the price go down though.

ADT is a good company. I've never had any problems. My device has been fine. In case something happens, I need it. I'm by myself. I don't have any trouble with the testing. We do it every month.

We investigated several companies and because we have ADT security in both of our homes in New Jersey and in Florida, we decided to tie the whole thing together and got an ADT medical alert device. My wife and I both have the device and, a couple of times, it accidentally went off and ADT called right away and they reset the unit. So, we've been fine so far. We don't wear the devices all the time if we're together. I'm her caregiver during the day. So, if she's in the house and I'm in the house, we don't wear them. But if we go out, we always wear them.

We're happy with ADT. We have a good experience with them. My mom fell twice and she broke her bones. Since then, she has ADT and so far, so good. I feel much better because the second time she fell, she had the thing on. And they called me and the ambulance was already there before I got there. I'm satisfied with their service.

ADT has been reliable. My only concern is that the battery life of the pendant doesn't last as long. They're constantly having to send a new one for my patient all the time. But other than that, the service has been really good. We've had to use it a few times and everything is good on it. It's small and compact. It’s a nice little gadget. The customer service has been very understanding. If I have to leave my number to call back, pretty much immediately, after I hang up, they call right away. As far as the emergency response, they're good. It's also affordable, not like the other ones that are high in price.

My ADT Medical Alert has worked perfectly. It gives me a peace of mind since I got it. The reps have been excellent. Every time I've talked to them, they've been very helpful. Where I needed an ambulance, they came right away. The only problem I have is, now and then, it goes off. I don't know if I'm hitting it. But I can cancel it on the medical alert, so it works fine. I'd recommend for anybody to get it.

They're always prompt with their call. They help me whenever I can't remember how to do the monthly test. I would recommend ADT Medical Alert to anybody. We're happy with the service.

We had a very good experience with the communication, and the effectiveness of being able to alert us if something happens, and for them to call 911. I'm glad that ADT is able to help people that are needing emergency when they fall. They're excellent.

This past week, I was putting some groceries away, and I bent down, and I accidentally bumped it against the cabinet, and the alarm went off. So, I just hit the reset button. The device is okay.

They had a GPS device that I could take my call box with me. It's a little pendant thing. I wanted that because it had a better price point and also had the GPS so I could go anywhere and have the protection. Knowing that I've got it on me, I know I can get somebody to take care of me where I live alone if I fall. It makes me know that I've got a backup, and that if things happen, I'm gonna be taken care of. I wear it all the time. The ADT team has been fantastic. They've always been extremely helpful. They call me by name when they get a false alert. They are very kind. ADT is easy to work with. They have exceeded my expectations.

The device is not super comfortable for my mom. But she wears the wristband device. The reps were great and very prompt.

The medical team is good. I just couldn't get the necklace to work. The only reason I wanted it was for the on-the-go. But it didn't work and I didn't need it. So, I just sent it back.

Having the medical alert device gives me a sense of freedom. When I misplaced the device that I had, I reordered another one and the customer service was wonderful.

They talked to me when I got the device to go through a system and get it set up. I got that all taken care of. Then they said they would call once a month. They've already called one time and talked to me. So everything was just fine. Their response time was very quick. Another nice thing about ADT is they will also contact my brother who sees over what happens to me.

I feel a little more safe when I have the device on. But I would rather have a smaller device than that one that goes around my neck.

The ADT salesman was better than the other ones I talked to. He was more knowledgeable, plus the ADT name. I live alone, so I'm feeling more secure having that device in case I fall. It made me more cautious about potential issues. It's working fine. We have a series of power outages. It turned off and on, off and on, and it made announcements every time the power changed. So I could tell it was working.

The only thing that bothers me about ADT is that the little monitor thing doesn't hold the charge for a whole lot. I charge it, but a day and a half later, I gotta recharge it. Other than that, it’s fine. When I couldn't find the little thing that you talk into and charge, I called ADT and they helped me find it by using the tracker. So that was very helpful to me. But it would be better if they could put a flex band on the watch because after you fasten it, it comes loose again. You can't keep it fastened. So, I don't wear the watch because it's useless to me.

I called ADT and told them I needed a return shipping label. I kept it for over two weeks and it's not open. I decided to send it back. So, I called them the other day and they told me they sent the return shipping label two weeks ago. But I've never received it. The rep gave me the runaround and I told him to send me another one. But he said, “Well, we can’t do that one. No, we can't.” It was against the policy. So he said, “Watch the mail real well and then if you don't receive one in a week, then call and we'll give you another one.” I'm not happy.

I've been very, very pleased with the service. The fobs set off three different times. But they were always right there. They called to make sure what was going on. I'm very, very happy about it. My family is ecstatic that I have it. Everybody I've dealt with has been very pleasant and friendly. It's obvious that this is more than just a job to them, and that they truly care about people. That's hard to find anymore.

I’ve had the ADT Medical Alert for two months now and I tested it twice with them. Their reaction time is very good. They also seem to be the most perfect compared to others and their prices are very good. I ordered the wrong one to start up with. And a week later, I got the new one in. Everything was great. I got the mobile life alert one. And they sent me the hand band with it, like a stopwatch. But you don't need that to use the model. They didn't charge me for it.

Since using ADT, I feel a lot safer and a lot more secure. Due to my physical disability, I need a medical alert device for safety in the home. Their team has been excellent. I would recommend them to anybody. ADT is America's best home security system. But I'm trying to get my insurance to pay for my Medical Alert. But it's taking so long for me to get that paid for. And I am running out of options of who to go through. It's weird because I've talked to them multiple times. I told them I'm trying to get my insurance to pay for it and they were like, "We're gonna limit your service.” That doesn't make sense. So right now, I owe them a bill and I've got to pay them.

We've had a good experience with ADT. Their team has been very good. They have good customer service.

I've returned my ADT ‘cause I didn't like it. I don't use it and I'm not gonna get another one. It fell off my neck. And when it falls off your neck, it notifies folks. And all it did was it fell off my neck. Also, the piece of string it was on rubbed my neck out. I wouldn't recommend them.

Setting my ADT was seamless. I called it in and it was ready to go. They test it once a month and they’re also good to deal with.

My husband has a history of vertigo and he's taken a few falls here lately. He's gonna be 87 next month. His daughter and I figured it was time we take extra measures. We got him an ADT Medical Alert and so far, so good. It doesn't seem to bother him any.

Setting the ADT was very simple. They had a system sent to us but it wouldn't work because we didn't have a landline. It was very easy to ship back. They sent us another one within a day and we got it up hooked up and it worked perfectly. They made the process very simple. I would recommend it.

The ADT Medical Alert all works well, except when we tried to pay online with the computer, we couldn't see the encryption. Number two, there was no place for us to enter the encryption. We ultimately had to find a phone number, which was also a little difficult to find online. We ended up putting it on auto-pay. Now, it's fine. My father-in-law is elderly and has a fall risk. He's comfortable having it on.

We got an ADT medical alert for my mother-in-law. She is 96 years old and she has trouble walking. She's got a small house. But she does not like to use her cane, so she was really wobbly. We got her one with the wristband. She has been wearing it and she's been taking the wristband off when she takes her bath or when she takes her shower. I'm like, “You need to keep it on because you could slip and fall in the shower.”

My experience with ADT has been very good. They're helpful. I'm more settled using it now and I've had it on for more than a month now. It works. I was trying to cancel it and I pushed both buttons and it was the wrong thing. They called in less than five minutes. I also went on a retreat and decided I didn't need to wear it. I took it out, took the other little thing and put them on the dresser, and went off on my retreat and had a wonderful time. My son got a notice that there was no response. He called and said, “Ma, you got your medical device on?” I said, “Nope, it's at home on the dresser.” However, it's not quite as portable as you think it should be. They should come up with something where you don't have to wear the piece around your neck and then carry the other piece in your purse. The chargeable piece also needs to be charged every three hours.

The cost and the quality of the ADT Medical Alert are fine. It's for my mother and she's fine with it. We tested it a week ago and we'll test it again in April.

So far, I've enjoyed ADT. I like the equipment. I got the button on my fall detector and the watch too. They also gave me the best deal. I like that they're there for me. If I have questions, they answer them right away.

I was impressed with ADT and the brand. I ordered it and then I've been wearing it ever since. I have a problem I haven't been able to solve, though. I'm not happy. I have a watch, which I wear on my left hand and that's where it is. They climb on top of each other. So I'm thinking of hanging it from my neck. But I was very impressed with how easy it is to operate. I've been in and out of the hospital for the last three months. This lovely little treat that's on my arm has one job and it's a viable job. If something happens to me where I am no longer mobile, and can’t get to the phone, I have a way of calling for help.

I'm very pleased with the ADT Medical Alert. It's easy to use. I wear the one necklace 24/7. The other necklace, I wear whenever I leave the house. I wear it under my shirt. Nobody knows that it's there, which I like. It made my life very carefree. I was very worried about sleeping at night, knowing that if something was to happen, I would have to try to find my phone, turn it on and make a phone call to either one of my children or to an emergency number. Now, I have no worries whatsoever because I'm lying there with this necklace on. I know that, if anything was to happen, I only have to press the button.

We got an ADT Medical Alert for my mother. She had a fall and injured her shoulder and was unable to get to her phone. My sister lives with her and everything's going fine, so far. The setup was very smooth and easy. I ran across them online from a Google search and called the number and gave them my information. She seems to be doing well with it. Every time I go visit, she's got it on. I like, too, that it's got that mobile option. If she is driving around or has an issue away from her home, it's still in use. One of the differences between ADT and a couple of other companies is that some of the others were only functioning within the home.

I got my mother an ADT Medical Alert. She lives alone and she's getting weak. She's 82 years old. She fell one time and got hurt. She got down on the floor to get something that she dropped and couldn't get back up. She had to wait on me for an hour to get there. I wanted her to have a way to get some help if she needed it. Setting it up was very easy. She forgets she has it on. But I don't worry about her falling and not being able to get to her phone and call somebody.

I bought an ADT Medical Alert for my husband. He is elderly and he's fallen several times. I looked online for a device that would help. ADT seems to be the best. He wears the watch every day and it makes him feel secure. The neck part of it, he doesn't wear it so often. But it's okay, because, mostly, I'm with him. If he needs help, we have it. If I'm not with him, if I go away, shopping, he'll be okay because he can get help.

My ADT Medical Alert device could always be cheaper, but the price seems reasonable. It has gone off several times. So, there are times when I just can't wear it because it'll go off. In the shower, for some reason, it goes off when I take a shower. So, I can't take it in the shower which is unfortunate because that's a good place to slip, too. When it does go off, it starts responding right away, but not with a person. It's probably three minutes before you actually get a person who finally asks you what's going. You'll get a recording kind of a thing first telling you it's gone off, but that'll keep going for a couple of minutes before a live person comes on. Their reps are very friendly. They're very nice about it. I always feel bad.

Somebody from ADT Medical Alert has called me a couple of times. I forgot to put my device on a charger one time. My device goes around my neck. It's sturdy. I really wish I'd have gotten a bracelet. I don't wanna put that thing around my neck when I go to bed. I put it on my table beside my bed. I could choke on it. I'd rather have it on my wrist. That's safer.

I have found the ADT medical alert is too sensitive. My dog has set it off, it swings against objects as I clean house, etc., the clasp malfunctions and it falls off. All these situations cause the alarm to go off. Also the range is only 600 feet so if I am walking dog, etc. it is useless.

My ADT medical alert is fine. I test it about once a month myself or they'll call to do a test from their end. Go for it. It's a comfort thing.

I love ADT. Every time that I go to the store, I wear the device just in case anything happened. Like long time ago, I fell down at the store, I got the device, so it just responded right away. Their customer service has been excellent. They were really nice to me and friendly. And they answer my questions. One time, I didn't touch the button but it was flashing. So automatically, I hit the button and waited for five seconds. And it turned it up automatically. So when it would go off by itself, I have to cancel that and they would call me back right away to ask if everything was okay. They are really helpful. They also alerted me that my battery is low, so they're going to send one.

Dealing with the reps was very good when I inquired about ADT Medical Alert and I was not being pushed into doing it. They were very nice.

I accidentally hit my ADT Medical Alert twice. ADT responded immediately. Not only did they call me, they also called my son. They operate very professionally in every respect and I appreciate that very much. I'm 100% satisfied.

ADT Medical Alert has been good. I fell four times and they've always been here. Once, they took me to the hospital.

They had a very, very good response and they were very quick. So, I appreciate that. Even when my husband accidentally dropped the device on the floor, they called back at once. It's very reliable. They did a good job. But this new device is not as good as the first time we used it. The main device doesn't have fall detection. My husband wore the old one all the time. When he fell, even not a fall, just something dropped on the floor, they reacted very good. But this one is only the smaller one, and the neck has a fall detection. But the bigger one doesn't have. We canceled ADT once because we moved outside the US. When we came back, we continued to use the same thing and got the same deal. I appreciate that part. But their service has a little bit changed and not the same as the first time. They're a little bit difficult.
