I purchased an ADT medical alert device for Mary Ann. She has a history of falling and she lives alone. The agents at ADT have been fine.

I called ADT Medical Alert and customer service was wonderful. Now, I've had my device for two years. I've taken a couple of good falls and luckily, I have the ADT bracelet on. I just press the button and it’s good from there. Having the device is very convenient and I love it.

My husband bought an ADT Medical Alert and put it on my credit card. The device is horrible. I fell on the floor and I pushed the button but they didn't answer. I sat and peed on the floor until my husband came back there. He called the paramedics to come and pick me up. And this was between 2:00 and 3:00 this morning. At another time, I went out on the back porch to smoke and I fell out there. I have cataracts, so I am not responsible. My husband had to give the paramedics a call and get them up here to look at me.

I recently started using the ADT Medical Alert, and I became interested in it after an incident in my garden where I fell. Fortunately, my neighbor witnessed it on her camera, but it made me realize I needed some form of emergency alert system. My daughter-in-law researched different options and decided ADT was the best fit for me. My son set it up, and I've been using it ever since.
I wear the medical alert daily, even inside the house, except when I'm asleep and charging it. The device consists of two parts: the main unit that communicates with ADT, which is a bit heavy for me, and the smaller white part. It's essential, especially if I were to fall while alone. Although I haven't needed it for emergencies yet, the device is very responsive and gets in touch with me promptly if it's ever activated accidentally, providing me peace of mind. I think it's a great product, giving both my family and me a sense of security knowing that help is not far away. It's a bit bulky, but the safety it provides outweighs the inconvenience. It’s a good investment for any elderly or disabled person looking for assurance that someone will be notified in the event of an incident.

I've had a great experience with the ADT Medical Alert service for my grandmother. After several instances where we had to call 911 due to emergencies, one of her doctors recommended getting a medical alert system, and we chose ADT. Although we haven't had to use it yet, knowing that the service is available gives us peace of mind. If something happens, she just needs to press the button for help.
Her daily routine with the device is seamless. We're diligent about charging it and have systems in place to remember it. Both my grandmother and her caregiver are aware of its importance and location.
In terms of security, we ensure her environment is safe and organized. The ADT devices are part of our daily life, providing an extra layer of comfort. We take care of her well-being by keeping her warm and well-fed, particularly during colder periods.
Overall, the ADT Medical Alert service offers an added sense of security, giving us peace of mind knowing there's a helping hand ready if needed. I would rate ADT a 5 out of 5 and definitely recommend it to others.

I first heard about ADT Medical Alert because I already use ADT for home security. I decided to purchase it after comparing it with LifeLock, which required a $98 monthly charge and a lengthy 3-year contract that I found unreasonable.
My experience with the ADT Medical Alert device has been positive. I've had occasions where I needed to use it due to balance issues resulting from cancer medication. During these instances, ADT efficiently notified my family members and dispatched emergency services, including the police, as needed. This aspect of the service has been very reassuring.
The overall quality of the device is great, with one minor issue. The device sometimes prompts for a test at inconvenient hours, like 11 PM or even early morning, which can be bothersome. It would be much better if testing could occur during the day.
Despite this small inconvenience, I would highly recommend the ADT Medical Alert.

My wife recommended that I get the ADT Medical alert device. I've had it for quite a while, probably less than a year. It provides a good sense of security, especially around the house when my wife is working at night. I tested it once to ensure it works, and it functions perfectly.

I recently became aware of ADT Medical Alert when I was hospitalized with pneumonia. Upon returning home, it was recommended that I look into this service for my own safety. The experience with the ADT team has been positive; they notify me whenever I forget to charge the device.
The device itself is easy to use, and I wear it mostly when I'm alone, as I live by myself. However, when my son visits, I don't use it as frequently. Wearing the device fits well into my everyday routine, and it provides a great sense of security knowing I have a method to alert someone in case of an accident.
I would tell friends and family that ADT offers a great deal of reassurance.

I chose ADT Medical Alert because I had surgery, and my children were concerned I might fall. We already use ADT for home monitoring, so it was a natural choice. My experience with the device has been seamless; I've had no issues. I wear the bracelet version daily, which suits my routine well. Although I've never had to use it in an actual emergency, there were a couple of accidental alarms. Before I had the bracelet, I had the necklace and when I did something in the shower, it went off. The ADT team responded promptly and came to the house. They were very nice, and I sent them on their way. I feel secure with ADT Medical Alert and wholeheartedly recommend it, scoring it a perfect 5. It's simply the service I trust and would suggest to others.

I initially became interested in the ADT Medical Alert because my son suggested it when I was ill, wanting to ensure I had some added security. While I've been feeling better, I typically wear the device when I'm outside or engaging in activities like working in the basement or garage. Although I have not had to use it in an emergency, it's reassuring to know it's there if needed.
My experience with the device is somewhat mixed. The wrist piece's plastic is awkward for my wrist size, often feeling too thick and not staying flat as it should, which can be bothersome. The corded version sometimes irritates my neck, so I don't wear it constantly. Despite these minor issues, I feel more secure knowing I have the device.
As for customer service, my interaction has been limited, but it was easy to reach a representative when necessary. For instance, I accidentally triggered a call when I leaned over, but that was quickly resolved. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service and would recommend it with some caution regarding comfort.

Our experience with the ADT Medical Alert system has been mostly positive, providing peace of mind more than anything. However, we've noticed that the device tends to go off accidentally during minor movements, such as when my husband crosses his arms or leans against something, causing the necklace to bump against a counter. To prevent false alarms, he wears it inside his shirt, which means it requires a major fall to trigger.
Despite this, we selected ADT after researching and finding their reviews satisfactory for our needs. Our primary concern is the sensitivity of the device's detection. If my husband were to fall and sustain a head injury, he might not be able to activate it manually. While we are happy with the service overall, having more accurate movement detection would be ideal.

I am very satisfied with my ADT Medical Alert device. It works. I've had it for a little over a year, and I like the fact that the ADT people are very nice. The device has gone off several times, and they have immediately contacted me. I got the notice and got to it in time to cancel it. They recertified it and rechecked it and did a very nice job. A couple of times, I didn't know what to do, but the person instructed me very calmly and nicely and got me straightened up. They were teaching me as well. Regarding the cost, I had my mother on a system and my ADT device is comparable to what I paid for hers several years ago. However, I don't particularly like wearing the black cord around my neck. I wish it has a chain that would be a little more dressy. It doesn't look very good with real gold necklaces or silver.

I needed assistance due to frequent falls. After comparing various options, ADT offered the right price and program for me, and I've been very happy with their service.
The customer support has been excellent. They send a reminder each month when the blue light flashes, prompting me to call them to check the device. During an incident, they diligently contacted my emergency contacts and called an ambulance.
A few years ago, I fell in the kitchen and broke my hip. In that moment of need, I was able to immediately reach ADT using my wristwatch device, which was incredibly reassuring.
Overall, having the ADT medical alert makes me feel much more secure in my day-to-day life.

I have been using the ADT Medical Alert device for quite some time. Throughout my experience, the device has functioned well, and the support team has always been cooperative whenever I've encountered an issue.
I had to use the device during an actual emergency when I fell. My daughter helped use the device to contact ADT since I forgot to use it myself. The response time was a bit slow, requiring a wait of several minutes before connecting with someone. However, with patience, you eventually connect to assistance.

I initially discovered the ADT Medical Alert through my little brother who lives in Alaska. Due to my history of a brain aneurysm and a stroke, my family, particularly after the passing of my husband, wanted to ensure I felt safe living alone. This device has become a crucial part of my life, especially since I've moved to Saint George, Utah.
I usually wear the device at home and keep it in my purse when I go out. Sometimes, I wear it around my neck. It’s reassuring to know I have it, especially considering my epilepsy, which might strike unexpectedly. The device makes me feel comfortable and safe, which is a big deal now that I'm alone without my husband by my side.
There was a particularly critical moment about a year and a half ago at home where I experienced a medical emergency. Though initially thought to be a seizure, it turned out to be something unrelated to my epilepsy. I used the device to summon an ambulance, which arrived swiftly, perhaps within 15 minutes, thanks to the proximity of the ER. This quick response was one reason I chose my current living location – to be near medical facilities.
In terms of rating my experience with the ADT Medical Alert, I would give it a 5. It is highly effective and provides peace of mind. While I need to remember to test it more regularly, it's a reliable and vital tool in managing my health and ensuring I receive timely assistance when needed.

We first learned about the ADT Medical Alert through a TV commercial. My mother was having frequent falls while living alone, and we felt this device could be a lifesaver. She wears the device daily from the moment she wakes up at 6 a.m. until bedtime around 7 or 8 p.m. Although the device doesn't bother her, she takes it off to go to bed. Once a week, I call the company and we perform a drop test to ensure it's functioning correctly. During the tests, we drop the device on the floor and ADT confirms that it activates and calls 911 as it should.
Although my mother hasn't had an emergency while wearing the device, it provides reassurance. In the midst of having it, she fell, but it was during the early morning hours. She got up to go to the bathroom, and she did not have it around her neck. Since then, she's moved in with me, and so far, everything's good. I even have monitors around the house for at night when gets up without the necklace.
Overall, we're very satisfied with the ADT medical alert device and would recommend it to others. It's had a very positive impact on our lives.

I started using the ADT medical alert system after a fall, as suggested by my son and daughter. My son arranged for it, and I’ve been using it ever since. On the first morning I wore it, I accidentally triggered it while having breakfast, and ADT responded promptly. This immediate response left me quite impressed with their service. I also had a call once from a young lady who told me I needed to charge the battery and the device. I'd left it laying off the charger.
Though I haven't had to use it for an actual emergency yet, the device gives me peace of mind knowing I have quick access to help if needed. I don’t wear it all the time at home, but I always keep it nearby. I would definitely give it the highest rating to friends due to the security it provides.

We first learned about the ADT medical alert system when my husband, Steven, transitioned from the nursing home to home care since it was part of his Medicaid plan. Even after some changes in his Medicaid coverage, we decided to continue with the service out-of-pocket because it seemed beneficial for us to have in the home. Steven only wears the ADT medical alert when I have to leave him alone at home for a bit. Thankfully, we haven't needed to use it in an emergency, but during the initial setup and testing, everything was smoothly explained and installed. The few times we've reached out to ADT for assistance, their professionalism and helpfulness stood out.
Testing the device is straightforward. I just press the button to ensure it is still connected and functioning as expected. I would rate my experience with the ADT medical alert system a 5 because it offers comfort and peace of mind for us both. The device has been reassuring, not just for Steven, but also for me in case of any unexpected situations at home.

My ADT Medical Alert device is the second one I've had. I’d liked my first one much better. I have a lot of trouble doing the testing with my second one. The part of the device where it says “Press here” for the test doesn't work 9 times out of 10. I have to call it in. I do the testing process once a month. They say it's working. I called them, and they tested that way and they say it's working. When I try and test it on my own, it doesn't work. Now, I don't know whether my machine does work. If it’s been an emergency, I wouldn't be calling them. I would be pressing.
Once, it accidentally went off. I had it up on a counter in my kitchen. Somebody put something down, and it accidentally hit it. They didn't realize that they hit the machine when they went to put the package down. I called ADT immediately and told them. They said, “Thank you,” and that they would cancel the call. I wear my device 24 hours a day. It's very light. I just don't like the black color because you can see it with everything. It'd be better if it was more of a flesh tone.

I'm very satisfied with ADT Medical Alert. If I need them, I know that they are there. After having learned it, I don't even realize I have it on. I don't take it off unless I shower. I try to keep from accidentally leaning against the alarm. When I have the machine asking if everything is alright, I push the reset button. One time, I was sitting in my TV room and watching TV, when all of a sudden, two gentlemen were standing in my doorway. It frightened me that somebody came in when my house was locked. Apparently, I accidentally pushed my alert button and they came into my house thinking that I had fallen or that I had a problem. They had the code to my garage and the code to get into the house.

I got a discount with ADT Medical Alert because I have the alarm system. My previous company kept adding things that I wound up with an $800 bill. But with ADT, everything is fine. It went off accidentally one time and their response was immediate.

I like the price of ADT. It's a good safety thing to have. I've had to use it and it worked well, and then contacting the paramedics and getting the service I needed, they sent help quickly. When I thought it might be taking long, I talked to the unit and they came right back and told me the progress of the paramedics. Their follow-up was good. ADT's working fine and my year is coming up and I'm gonna renew for another year.

Having an ADT Medical Alert, I have a good feeling because I know that with the combination lock on the door and other people having my phone number, that somebody can get in if necessary. When I needed a new battery, they told me and they sent it. However, the device is a little sensitive. If you're moving around, it will go off.

My son-in-law got my ADT Medical Alert for me. ADT calls me in case it is not hooked up right, and they did when I didn't put it on the stand right. They tend to warn me that my device wouldn't fit in well on my charger. Having the device, I feel safe, in case I would have an accident. But I have to be careful wearing it. It goes off before I know it. I don't wear it during sleeping time as I'm afraid it would go off. It can go off easy sometimes.

I'm good with ADT Medical Alert. It's dependable and here if I need it. I'm older and I live alone. In case anything happens with me, I need to be able to get to a service really fast, and I don't think a cellphone would work that well. With the medical alert, I feel a little more secure. They do their checks really well, and everything seems to be working great.
