i3 Broadband costs

Below are the current costs for i3 Broadband services in Northern Illinois, Rhode Island and Missouri. Note that these costs require customers to sign up for autopay and online billing and may include promotional pricing. Interested customers should contact the company directly to receive an updated quote.

i3’s internet services also require customers to use Wi-Fi pods, which can be rented for $5 per month, per pod. It recommends one pod for a small one- to two-bedroom home, two pods for a three- to four-bedroom home and three pods for larger homes. You can also choose to use your own router, but the company can’t guarantee performance speeds.

Customers are also eligible for a 30-day money-back guarantee if they’re not satisfied with their service.

How does i3 Broadband work?

To start your service, you can either sign up online, call the company directly at (877) 976-0711 or send an email to sales@i3Broadband.com. You’ll then schedule your installation, which typically takes about an hour and requires connecting a buried fiber optic drop cable to your home.

Connection also requires i3 Smart Wi-Fi pods that are plugged into standard outlets throughout your home to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal. Customers can control these pods through the HomePass app. Once you’ve signed up for a plan, you can set up an online account to manage your services.

    Reviewed April 7, 2026

I lost my internet service in the west half of my house Easter Sunday. I made an appointment for a service tech to come Tuesday between noon and 4:00 pm. I stayed home rather than complete the tasks I had to accomplish for the week. I called the service department when he had not arrived by 4:30. He had two service calls on his schedule for my house that afternoon, so he deleted them. Because I will not be home very often the next three days, he is now scheduled for next week. I will sit and watch the traffic pass my house during the evenings and the weekend instead of watching The Masters, something I have been eagerly waiting to enjoy for months. I will shop for a different service.
