We sell medical device to hospitals and the distributor of one of our customers needed a certificate of insurance, and that was kinda what sparked this for us. AmVenture is not very old and we just began to research it and came across the company. They got good reviews online and came up as one of the best companies for small business through Google search. When I checked into it, I got in touch with Connie and she deserves recognition. She called me back several times. I had a lot of questions because I was new to it and she was very helpful and professional. I've been with the company for about 19 months and it's going very well.

My husband does an air condition service and he was required to have a worker's compensation before he comes on the property. I started my own business recently and needed to have insurance for my company. The people from AmVenture that I dealt with and their rate were good. The gentleman who handled my particular process got back to me immediately. He was super knowledgeable, very helpful, and stayed in contact with me. It was done very quickly. Overall, AmVenture was excellent.

The laws have changed and as a sole proprietor, I have to have workmen's comp insurance in Florida. Since I've already got a policy with AmVenture, I chose them but I just have a general liability at this time. The experience that I had with them was good. The guy that I particularly dealt with was very helpful. He worked with me because the thing was, I really can't communicate a lot throughout the day so we communicated mostly via email, and he took care of everything from there. When I was ready, I just called them and we got it all set-up. I was very happy with that.

They were speedy and efficient, and they got right back to us and sent us emails. We dealt with Vince who was right on it and he was done by that afternoon. I was given a quote on the same day and I made the $500 payment. Their cost was a little higher or $40 more than the insurance provider that we denied because they moved too slowly. We still have to send out to some of our clients the insurance information that we have. Then the next thing would be our increasing business and some of the prospects that we're looking into. We'll have to call AmVenture to see what they can put together for us.

The only thing they could've worked on was letting me know right away that it was an automatic pay, 'cause I was kinda stressed and I had to make a payment this week and they told me when I called them that it was already set up.

But I wish they would come up with a way to umbrella workers' comp without going through other channels of different companies because it isn't there.

He was awesome and he took the time with me. He discussed everything, went over everything, and he was right on the time sending in my emails my proof of my coverage. My company needed at least five vehicles in order to get that type of coverage and he told me that I might want to check with my insurance company. That was something I hadn't even thought about until he brought it up.

I spoke with a young lady, Jasmine, when I purchased my AmVenture policy. It was a two-day process and she was helpful with everything. It was my first time getting a workers’ compensation and it has been a very pleasant experience. I've been with AmVenture for three weeks now. I’m an LLC but I’m operating in Tennessee and I have yet to hire a worker. So, I don’t think I would even get a staff until about the end of the year, but hopefully sooner. But it was something that I wanted to go ahead and show my clientele in case they'd required it. So far, everything was perfect.

After 17 days and 3 emails, asking the same question, I've gotten no answer and no one will get back to me. The question shouldn't be too hard. And if the underwriter doesn't know the answer, they shouldn't be in this business. I think they know but don't care about actually helping anyone. Honestly, it makes me feel like their only goal was to take my money and give me a binder, and to hell with anything else I needed. And their lack of following through makes me wonder how good their coverage is. The whole purpose is to use them when you need something. If they can't answer a fairly simple question, how will they perform if I get a claim? My advice to everyone: only use this company as a last resort.

The cost was high but it will cover me if, God forbid, my company were to be sued for up to a million dollars in attorney's fees. So, at the end of the day, that's reasonable. It's good to have that reassurance of insurance. I also like that they also allow me the monthly payment and not as a direct withdraw, which saved me from trouble trying to pay another bill. Overall, AmVenture is a great deal and I'd recommend them to others.

I googled up the cheapest and fastest way to get workman's compensation and AmVenture called up first. The interaction with the staff at AmVenture was wonderful. They've gotten me written up and got me a certificate right away. They were very polite too.

He did everything I asked to be done. He told me that usually, it could take a day or so before they get the paperwork. But he got it done that same day. AmVenture is a good company. We were calling around and looked them up online. We decided we were gonna get the insurance after our agent told us about it. He was nice and friendly, and he knew the details on everything whenever we asked questions.

My experience with AmVenture was really horrible because I purchased insurance from them and they canceled the policy immediately on the same day after I paid $1,500 for it. They are a fourth party to the purchase of the policy and it went through another company called INGUARD, who said they didn’t have my money and that it was Liberty Mutual that has it. I'm waiting for Liberty Mutual to refund AmVenture, so they can refund me. But I still haven’t gotten a reimbursement from Liberty Mutual. It was absolutely awful and I wouldn’t recommend AmVenture to anybody.

And I’ve seen improvement, otherwise I wouldn’t enroll with the program. I will definitely recommend them if I happen to come across someone willing to discuss their concern.

So I was happy and I know it was during the holidays and little hard to get things done fast. It’s our first time having to get workers comp. I was pushing hard to get it but I was finding that being the first time it was a little harder to get it but once you get it then you’re fine. filled out this thing and I got a phone call right away from a lady working with AmVenture that sold me my policy. What was weird about it was it was like blood in the water for sharks. I must have got 10 phone calls that day from different insurance brokers. But all of them wanted to charge like $1,000 a year or $1,500 a year for kind of basically the same thing I got for $500 from AmVenture, which I think was good.

I've been with AmVenture for a month now. The sign up was easy and they were reasonably informative.

AmVenture is reasonable in their rates and I had a very good experience with their staff. But in their attempt to respond to my inquiries, there was some confusion about whether my policy was activated or not. They gave me the wrong quote through email and they were expecting me to respond to it as if I knew they were mistaken. But I ignored it because I thought I was just waiting for the quote to come through and it took them a week to work that out for me. Other than that, I'm satisfied with their service and I’d recommend them.

Aside from the pricing, AmVenture's rep was fantastic over the phone and email. He asked me all the questions because I’m fairly new to doing the insurance. But he was able to guide me to what I needed to do, which none of the competitors were able to do. I appreciated that and so I got a general liability insurance with them. Overall, it was a fast and to the point experience with them. Having insurance is a must and I would definitely recommend AmVenture.

But I found that they just gave me the liability insurance, so I told them that I wanted to add comp insurance because I need one for myself as a single entity. But their rep was trying to pawn me off to a ghost policy, so it would've been two totally different policies. When I asked him why they couldn't just add it to my policy, he couldn't figure it out. So I was a little bit annoyed with that. He was trying to establish a ghost policy when all they had to do was to add the workman's comp to the primary clause that I already had.
