I had two incidents of water leakage and had had Lemonade for a couple of years. I got in touch, made a video of the damage and a man from a different company came over and inspected. After number of emails I got both damages covered on the claims above the deductible. I'm new to this but it has worked out well. The staff have responded promptly.

Excellent response from Lemonade insurance immediate up front emergency payment, to allow us to stay in a hotel the first night, thereafter the claims adjuster was prompt and sorted the claim out very quickly and within a week we were back to normal. Lemonade was easy from the beginning, signing up took 15 min Max. and it was done all online which was great and convenient. Then we had to file a claim and it was super easy to file in the app! They are responsive and helpful and never make you feel like they are not on your side. Payments for claims go directly to your account which is super easy to set up! Will recommend to anyone I know!

Cannot compare with other insurance experiences but so far so good: I will apparently get more than half of the cost after deductible is subtracted. I asked for switch from phone calls to email and that worked. There was some confusion about whether I should make two claims or one but seems clear now.

As a new customer I did not know what to expect when my barn roof was damaged during a wind storm. Lemonade’s claim process was very simple. All in all it was a easy and straightforward experiment. Took about a month from making the claim to resolution. I never felt like Lemonade was playing games or looking for reasons to deny the claim, which most insurance companies tend to do. Communication is a bit difficult. It’s hard to get someone on the phone and email isn't always the best way to get answers, especially when you’re unsure of the process. The rep I worked with, Vienna, was professional, honest and amicable.

This was the most efficient and pleasant experience I have ever had with an insurance company. I experienced a leak in my bathroom that caused damage to my downstairs roof and walls. Another satisfied customer. Claim process was simple and fast. Very pleased with Lemonade Insurance!! They lived up to their promise with flying colors. I couldn't ask for a more trouble-free claims process. I requested adjuster come out and take a look and they called me the next day!! To say I was surprised is an understatement. Claim was reviewed by a professional, submitted and paid. Very easy process. Finding contractor to do the work will be more problematic than the claim this time of year.

Due to area storms I had unexpected damage interior and exterior! Clarissa was very prompt in responding even though it was a weekend. The process went smoothly and I was covered! Toilet overflowed at 3 AM. Water was all over the place. The building staff came in at 6 AM and finished removal of the remaining water. Lemonade sent a response team to check for moisture under the floor. Luckily their meters showed there was no residential water trapped under the flooring. Lemonade then dispatched a public adjustment firm to survey the damage and issue an assessment report. The adjuster responded in a prompt and always professional manner. Once the report was filed with Lemonade the claim was resolved quickly and the check is in the mail.

Upon returning from working out of state, I found our hallway flooded with water. Our condensate drain to the furnace was clogged. I immediately replaced the drain line, but damage had been done to our wood floor. Lemonade had someone out in a couple of days and approve the replacement immediately. Their service and communication is second to none! I have recommended Lemonade to all my friends and family.

Lemonade responded to my claim with lightning speed. Texas had its worst freeze on record in February. 1000 of folks lost power for days on end, causing lots of damage. Handling the claim was super easy. It was one of the easiest things I’ve ever done online. Customer service was there all the way. The entire process was absolutely painless. What great support!

I LOVED HOW QUICK AND EASY THE CLAIM PROCESS WAS AND THE AGENT VIENNA WAS SUPER QUICK AND EFFICIENT... I thought it was going to take months before I would have the claim finished but she was able to process the claim very quickly and have an adjuster who was very good at her job also and was able to capture all the damage my leaky pipe had done.

It took about three months and I lost count of how many people from Lemonade were assigned to my claim (>8) before I finally received reimbursement for the damages in my claim. I am fortunate that I was able to do fix all of the damage myself and basically just get reimbursed (eventually), but if I didn't have that money already this claim experience could have been much worse. Other than the eternal delay, the rest of the process went very smoothly and everyone was friendly along the way. It just seems that they are still in growth mode and couldn't handle such a huge event (Snovid 2021 freeze in Texas) and perhaps had rapid personnel turnover on top of it... just guessing.

I had an excellent experience with Lemonade, especially with Ben, my claim representative. I had a difficult time getting a contractor to come give me an estimate for damages in my bathroom. I had issues with my HOA, The unit upstairs who caused the damage, and contractors who didn’t show up to give an estimate. The one contractor I did have gave an outrageous estimate, and he refused to give a written estimate. Ben was aware of everything going on. He allowed me to attempt to get my own estimates. I had no success. Ben stepped in and took action. He sent an adjuster to assess the damages. Once the adjuster submitted the damage estimate to Ben, I was paid within 24 hours.

Payout is low and take very long time to get it. The person who was working on my claim is very unresponsive. Very unhappy with the service that I received. I had to called everyday just to get 1 update and yah no response from them. Worst than traditional insurance.

Had a great experience. Fast and easy claim. They answered all my questions pretty fast. They send an adjuster pretty fast. Had the estimate within the next day. And they direct deposit the money within a couple of weeks. Thank you for all your help.

During A storm wind blew shingles off of the house and water damaged a ceiling. Clarissa took the claim and the adjuster was out here fast and claim was taken care of in about a week. When we walked into our Condo in January 2020 and saw water everywhere and the ceiling in our baby room caved in and gushing like a fountain. Our first feeling was to panic. So many concerns went throughout mind. But then we remembered we had Condo Insurance with Lemonade. Once the dust had settled we contacted our Carrier. Corey was our representative who got on the call and with a level head told us not to worry about anything. "You need a place to stay? Done. We will pay for it. You need the your damaged items replaced? We will pay for it. You need your Rooms repaired and sprayed for mold? We will pay for it."

Roof leakage due to recent ice storm was reported to Lemonade. Within 10 days payment was transferred to my bank account. At every stage of claim process I was updated. The assigned adjuster inspected within 4 days. Claim Advocate was coordinating at all stages. The whole process was easy and organized.

Alright, so I got my policy with Lemonade when I bought my house in July 2019, and did my first claim this month (April 2021). I feel like I can write a good honest review now. First, let's talk about setting up a policy when buying a house. This could not be simpler. Everything is online, you fill out a questionnaire about your house, say what coverage you want, and you have a quote within a few minutes. AND that quote is less than half of what you'd pay anywhere else.

My experience with Lemonade and representatives was first class. I never have filed a claim before but have heard nightmares from friends and family that have dealt with other insurances, lemonade is not like the other insurances with its streamline process and professionalism.

The claim process was simple and the adjuster was realistic in identifying all damage. Other claims agents jumped in likely because this was during the major Texas ice storm and I asked for updates. This meant I actually had more than one agent reviewing the claim which did cause a little bit of confusion but all worked out well. I’m so happy I switched to Lemonade. We had the insurance money within a month and with the caveat that if more damage or costs were incurred than expected to let them know. Truly appreciated but so far everything has run true to expected.

When my HOA couldn’t find the docs required and I was stuck, Jonathan called my property managers and HOA to sort it out. He found them on the internet and my claim was approved. I am first to admit that I loathe insurance companies and lawyers. Always adding fees, making a process more complicated than it needs to be, nickel and diming, etc.. Due to this, I’m highly cynical when it comes to claims. From what I’ve heard from friends and family (fortunately I’ve only had one other claim), proceeding with a claim can be long, enduring, with a huge degree of effort. My wife and I work countless hours, especially during COVID and time is tight. The experience with Lemonade was seamless, effortless (provided some pictures and quotes), and the rest is history. Claim was processed pretty quickly, and that's right after the Great Texas Freeze of 2021. Their adjuster was quite generous, and the payout was bigger than expected. Whole process was nice and smooth. The premiums were also smaller than from the other companies.

Josh has been very supportive and communicative. Even though my claim took a turn where it didn't fall within his expertise, he continued being my agent and helped move this along as smooth as possible. I'm very satisfied with Lemonade as my homeowners insurance provider.
