    Our experience with Insureon has been good. I get in touch with them whenever I have a problem and they've been easy to get a hold of. I have a company and I needed the certificate of insurance for my client, so I have taken insurance from them. As of now, I still haven't claimed anything. I just know that my company is insured. I have a security in my mind that my company is covered. And whenever I need them for anything, they are available on the phone on the particular business hours. So far, they've been very helpful and things have been going smoothly.

    I'm not sure what they are like for bigger companies but for small companies they are the absolute worst! It is virtually impossible to reach anyone. They do not respond to emails, they do not call back, and they do not answer their phone or look at their voicemails. I'm not blaming the employee either... this is probably due to the fact that the company gives their employees too many business accounts to manage for small business insurance. That is not fair to me the customer and that is not fair to their employees!!! No wonder I have a new agent every other week...It prob sucks to work there!

    I was trying to look for business insurance, and I went through Insureon to get to the insurance company. I gave them all of the information and the routing number. I enjoyed the experience with the person that was helping me set up everything, but it went south after that. I thought that I have insurance, but then they sent me back something saying they never got the payment. So, they still ended up billing me for the insurance even though I never used it. They couldn’t explain what happened. My initial experience was good and I felt I had clarity, but when it came down to actually working with that insurance company that they referred me to, everything went downhill. They made me feel like I owed them all of this money, but I did everything that I was supposed to do on my end.

    I was trying to get a quote from my local people but they kinda took too long. I was trying to get a quote for over a week. I needed it badly. I got online and started looking up places that would do general liability insurance. In the beginning, Insureon was very quick and they were great. When I filled everything out, I was locked in with them. The insurance was higher than what I could have been provided, but that was okay. I can’t do anything about it right now.

    The rep got the quote to me quickly and locked in the insurance company that my local insurance agent uses, so I have to wait for my year. When the people that I could finally use were trying to get it done, they couldn't because it was already moved over to the agent that did his work first. The people tried to get it from him and couldn’t do it. The weird part is I was looking at it the other day and it’s a year policy. I only owe 300 something dollars on it and it doesn't end until March of next year but I’m still having to pay $128 a month because of late fees. It definitely doesn't make sense to me why I’m supposed to pay that much a month when my policy will be paid in full, 300 and something dollars, in less than three payments. If I was to pay the $128 then pay December, January, February, March, that’s way over $300 something. One of my insurance friends also said that it didn't make sense. I already paid well over half of my policy amount.

    Customer service has been difficult. They should answer their emails. Looking at their policy and invoicing that was sent out to me, it says I’m behind. But if I look at the policy and how much I owe until March 2020, I’m way ahead. I’d just give up at this point on trying to get in contact with them and just trying to get through it. I’ve not contacted Insureon in a while just because they would not answer back. To anyone looking into Insureon, just go to your local office and they could do all of that for you.

    Something happened at the Insureon in Chicago, Illinois. They do not answer the phone. Also they don't respond to any emails. An agent sent an email listing his phone number and it is not his phone number, it is a phone number for some telemarketer. Some of us wonder if they are here, sounds like they are in India or somewhere.

    It was easy to get a quote with Insureon. Once I started looking around, it was really straightforward. I got really fast quotes and all the insurance I needed. I really wanted what was required in business insurance and I didn't have a problem getting that. And when I needed a few documents for a building I was leasing, I didn't have a problem getting those. The only issue I had was I wasn't quite sure if I did the monthly, quarterly or yearly billing so I didn't get a bill for a long time. It turned out that I was late. But we got it figured out now and I paid whatever was needed upfront. I guess there was just a mix-up.

    Initially, I called one company and I was on hold for a long time and never talked to anyone.     I was getting ready to start a big job in a city building and I needed liability insurance of $3 million. And when I started looking around, there's always the naysayers online but there was a lot of good reviews for Insureon through a Google search. And so, that’s when I reached out to Mike. He was the rep who helped me through the process. I started out via phone call, just very sure that they could get what I needed, told me that they’d let me know in about 20 minutes via email, they’d sent some quotes over, and within 15 minutes, the quotes were there. And I emailed back and forth with Mike a few times and called and paid and within an hour and a half I had insurance. It was awesome.

    I was like, “I need this by 6:00 AM tomorrow morning,” and he was like, “I've got you.” And I've read some reviews like, “I'm still waiting on my certificate of insurance.” I told him, “Mike, you have read these reviews, and I need you to not drop the ball on this.” He said that it's gonna happen. I didn’t have to worry. And I didn’t. I didn’t have to worry about anything. They were awesome. I told them what I needed, they tailored the plan around that as well as they could and it's very detailed also.

    For less than a million dollars, I was paying $119 a month, and with Insureon, I pay 52. So, I see a lower payment and ease of actually making the payment. And I know like a few times when I've been uncertain of what to do, like a payment was gonna be a couple of days late and I get in touch with Mike, and he still helps even though he's done his job.

    Asked for quotes online and received "none at this time". Tried to dial the number that is listed on the website and it gave no option to talk to an operator. I had to either check the directory by name, dial the extension of someone I knew or leave a message. I called during business hours. Also the quote form kept defaulting to auto insurance and I was only interested in General liability. I have no idea if I will ever get a quote, but I don't have time to hang around waiting for someone to call me back. Quiet time in the office is rare and I need that to sort out commercial insurance.

    I want to say state that I had a good initial experience w/ Insureon. I was a new startup business that needed general liability insurance. When I needed something they did come through. However, fast forward a year and I realized that I could get the same coverage for MUCH cheaper. I gave them the opportunity to re-quote but it never happened. The price was going to stay the same. No problem - I get my new policy and close out my account only to find out that the gentlemen from Insureon have given me a little bad information. Said I was covered for up to a certain amount of business. Long story short because of the salesman telling a tall tale I had to pay an additional $200, (this after paying way more than I should have) That's business, when I approached them about the incorrect information I was given, they couldn't have cared less. I'll never do business with them again nor would I suggest to someone to do business with Insureon.

    I’ve had General Liability and Umbrella Liability Policies for my business with them for years. We chose them when we first started our Small Business because of the price, and how easy and fast it is to get insurance certificates on the portal. The only reason we haven’t switched is because of the price, however we plan to pay the extra for a better company at the end of our policy this year because of how awful these people are. They only give you the contact information for your “agent,” every year we have a different agent, and can never get a hold of any of them via phone or email. In recent years we’ve needed to provide some specific documentation from our policies to contractors that isn’t readily available like certificates are, last year it took 3 months for my agent to send me two pages that should have been, but weren’t included in my copy of the policies, this year they never sent me updated copies of our policies.

    I can’t get anyone to respond to my numerous emails or phone calls. When I did speak with my “agent” last week about what I needed she kept telling me she was sending it via email and it just wouldn’t go through. I don’t understand why she wouldn’t have contacted me right away if that was truly the case. Once I finally received what I needed, it was the documentation from last year so it was expired. If you try to call to speak with customer service or a manager they will send you to your agent, and say leave a message and they’ll contact you within 24 hours, which they never do.

    The only way to speak to someone else is to go to their website and do a live chat and pretend to be a potential new customer. This place is a complete joke, and it’s affecting my business. (For the record, it took my workers Comp insurance company all of 15 seconds to answer the phone and email me the same documentation from that policy, that I’ve requested from Insureon.) Get a real insurance insurance agency, they aren’t worth the savings, unless you want your customers to think you’re completely unorganized and don’t mind always being late to start jobs.

    I really needed insurance right on the spot just recently, so I gave Insureon a call. The first time I signed up, their process was pretty fast as far getting the certificate and getting approved was concerned. They helped me figure out what was best for me right now. They also let me know that if I ever extend, I could just add on and take off whenever I wanted. When I originally needed the insurance, I reached out to the old agent. They let me know that they didn’t work for the company anymore and were just helping me out. A week later, somebody else had reached out to me. I wish I didn’t have to wait that long to get a response. Still, I can go through the website and modify anything if I need to.     I came across Insureon through the internet. Although I looked at a few others, I like Insureon's pricing, as well as its simplicity of sorting the quote out. The rep I worked with asked lots of questions to make sure everything that I put down was right, and that everybody was happy with what it all was.     I found out that Insureon did business through the guy who did my insurance, Kevin, and everything worked out great. I thought it was gonna be really hard but I said three words and they knew what I needed. They’re very knowledgeable, which is a good thing, especially if you don’t really know what you’re doing, because I’m not an insurance person.     I found Insureon through a Google search and got with them considering the ease of use, but I actually ended up contracting through another company. I was not able to get enough quotes from Insureon. I was fairly honest about past history on data security, which may have limited the results, as there was only one choice when I went through them. It was close but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. It was a combination of liability insurance and cyber insurance. The business insurance that was being offered wasn't really broad enough to cover what I thought I needed to cover.     I liked that Insureon had a low price and good coverage. I was offered their insurance when I purchased a product. I know things break all the time such as a cell phone and for a reasonable price, I was happy to get mine covered. Mine broke and it was fixed really easily. There is a little deductible but it was a really easy process. It wasn't like I needed to submit pages of paperwork for everything. Pretty quickly, they said I was approved and told me whether they were going to ship me a new device or send me a check. It was all really clear.     Traditional business insurance takes so much time. I came upon Insureon after doing an internet search and it was very easy to get a response and quote from them. They have a very fast turnaround. Also, their ease of use and their ability to get multiple quotes, which was very helpful, were big factors as to why we ended up using their service. I had very minimal interactions with their reps but when I got a call, it was fairly straightforward and it was a good experience. They were able to answer very high-level questions, which I needed.     I told them originally that I was gonna be moving to a new address within three weeks after we signed everything. The rep told me to let him know once I change my address and they would get it changed. I emailed and called because we're in a new address now and I'm worried if we're even insured. By the fifth voicemail I left, I was not extremely friendly. They got the address changed because the carrier, CNA, contacted me with the address change documents but Insureon never responded to me and let me know they were doing it.

    I didn’t have an invoice for quite some time and I needed them to change the wording in the policy to meet the contractual needs of the contract that I hold. It took a long time and a lot of effort to work it out. Still, they eventually got it changed and they did a good job. Given that, Insureon needs a mechanism online for a customer who has a policy, to be able to connect with a company to tell them about an issue. The way it is now, the only connection is with the associate and in order to do an online chat, the associate has to have enabled that for you. So, if the associate is the issue, you have no mechanism to contact the company and tell them they have a problem. But now, they have made the changes necessary for me to be successful and I am happy.

    I was doing an online search and found Insureon. I inquired about their insurance since I could search multiple vendors. Insureon got back to me right away and I was able to call and ask questions, so I went with them. It was good dealing with their representative. Most of the time, he was available and when I left messages he returned my calls right away. The main thing I like is that the agent I worked with answered my emails in a timely manner and he was available when I called him and had questions.

    The main thing is that when I put in one set of circumstances to put in insurance, the site would show providers. Then if I changed the scenario a little bit because I wanted to change the amount of the property damage coverage, I would lose all those providers of the other scenario that I had put in earlier. When I put in a different amount, it changed all the providers, but then when I tried to go back, it didn’t go back very easily. It was a little tough in that area. It would be great if it had a thing where I could put in scenario one and scenario two and compare them side by side and see what the difference is.

    The agent did a good job as far as the insurance part. But what I’m still not positive about is how I’m supposed to pay for my insurance as I haven’t received and seen anything about that. I could check with my partners and see if they have received anything about payment. But we were talking about this last night and we were asking if we should be paying for our insurance because the insurance company contacted me to be able to bind the property owner to the policy. But other than that, nobody ever asked us if we were gonna pay them. Nevertheless, my experience with Insureon was quick and easy. Overall, it was a great experience.

When calling in, it's really hard to get ahold of anybody to talk to.     I needed E&O insurance for a contract, but it is one thing I didn't want to get because I've never needed it over the past 20 years of me doing contracting work. Insureon was recommended by one of my consulting buddies. I compared other places and my regular insurance agent really wanted it, but she was a few hundred dollars more expensive. I only filled about half of the paperwork and Suzie, the Insureon representative, called me back up to try to finish it, which I thought was funny. She is an aggressive producer.     I liked the convenience of Insureon and that they would act fast. I was contacting some local agents and surprisingly, they were really slow responding and transacting it than Insureon was over the internet, so I went with Insureon in part because of that. The local companies allowed me to do the application online too, but at that point, it became a matter of how fast they would respond to me, and Insureon was faster. There were so many emails that went back and forth with an agent and I had a couple of phone calls through the process and got things lined up after getting the insurance instated.

    Their level of customer service was great and the reps were very responsive. They answered their calls personally when I called. I called them about three times and the agent that I was dealing with answered his own phone. I did not have to leave a message. I may have gotten lucky on that, but it was neat.     Requested quote online. 5 days later, no response. Requested another quote online. Again no response. Receive automated Insureon e-mail saying my quote is ready and to call agent to set it up. Leave 3 voicemails. No response or call back. Eventually just call Insureon's main number directly to see if someone else can pull my quote. They redirect me back to the same agent, telling me that if I leave him a message saying I'm ready to bind coverage immediately that he'll respond then. Couple days later the agent e-mails me a list of questions to prep my quote. I answer them all. You'll never guess what happened next - Never provided quote, never responded to e-mail. Found an Acuity agent who can answer the phone and return calls like a professional normally does. Thanks for wasting my time, Insureon and Agent Dan **.

    Horrible, agent gave no information regarding payments nor about policy. Just sent me an email with a form to fill out. I would call and send emails with no response. I needed a GL insurance for small seasonal landscaping. I filled out the form, and sent it. A month later I had to cancel due to work problems. I found out that the Insureon took out a loan for the policy. I thought I had to pay monthly statements, they took out a loan amount of 1240.00, also I paid 500 dollars upfront thinking it would go towards my policy, I found out later that they were all sign up fees.

    When I canceled I notice I was still getting bills in the mail, I kept emailing and calling. Sooner or later I found out that it takes up to 40 days or more to cancel the policy, complete BS. I just received a check for 780.00 from Insureon. I only had the policy for a month, yet they shafted me almost 500 dollars plus the signup fee. So just to cancel this insurance cost me over 1k for a month of insurance, for GL to cut grass. Horrible. And the sad thing is I still have a 828 dollar balance for this insurance company. They only sent me out a check for 780.00 dollars.

    How do you charge a 500 dollar sign up fee for a policy for 1240 dollars, almost half of what the GL yearly payment is. What type of BS is this. I feel ripped off, and extorted. I will be talking to my accountant and an attorney about this. Why does it take more than 40 days after I sign the e-document for canceling the insurance? I have had so many GL insurance companies cancel that same day and send me every penny that was not used. Something is wrong here and I will get to the bottom of this.

    I paid for flood insurance, have the receipt, Insureon confirms payment. Yet I received a cancellation notice from the underwriter for reason of non payment a month after I purchased the annual policy. When I contacted my Insureon agent, he said Insureon's accounting department had made a mistake. I've been sending follow-up emails and getting radio silence. Two months after paying for insurance I am left uncovered and spending too much time trying to chase down Insureon. Agent seems like it's not his problem and he can't be bothered. I'm giving it 3 more days and then I'm going to give up and try a chargeback with the CC company. Businesses occasionally make mistakes. It's how they handle the mistakes that show their character. In case of Insureon, it is very low character indeed. Maybe the state AG needs to hear about this.

    I needed an expedited quote for General Liability. I spent about 10 minutes filling out the required questions and had my quote in two minutes. I wanted to proceed to the next phase but I had questions that I needed to ask the agent. I sent two separate emails the day I got my quote on 9/28 and waited patiently. On Oct 3 I called at night and got an answering service who told me that someone would call me the next day from the office if the agent could not be reached. Oct 4th, I left a voice mail with the agent and asked to call me. I waited until mid afternoon and called the main office again to report the non communication and I would please like for someone to call me back.

    They reached out to the office and the agent again and he stated, "Get a verbal. We will be good to go." I said no, I would like to speak to him as I have questions I need answered. So 5 tried attempts on my part to talk to the agent and he will not call me back, but he wanted me to give a verbal that I was good to go with signing up. I stated that if this is the type of customer service your company officers them I'm out of here. I would hate to see what the customer service would be like if I had a freaking claim. Kyle ** needs to be replaced. I would hope the rest of the company is not like him. Too bad he was the only one I keep getting directed to and no one else bothered to help out, even when they said if my agent could not be reached they would have someone from the office get in touch with me... Liar.

    I paid Insureon for a full year of insurance. Unfortunately I had to close my business and requested a refund of the unused portion. I was told a refund would be made after submitting a cancellation form. After submitting my form I waited. After several weeks I reached out to my agent and he told me I needed to resubmit my form. After resubmitting my form and waiting for several more weeks I submitted no less than 10 emails trying to get information on the progress of my refund. My initial email was sent February 12 and today May 31st I have sent more emails with no explanation why I haven't received my refund.     I had to get an insurance to continue doing business with one of my clients. When I first signed on with Insureon, my interactions with their reps were fine.     Not being in the industry field, I depend on my agent/representative to give me the coverage I need. Everything seems fine in the beginning. You say what you need. They give a quote. "Gather up a list of damages and losses and the cost and, we'll begin assessing what is covered but, your deductible is $1,000 so, you are responsible for the first $1,000 but, if we decide not to cover the door, it will not count towards your deductible." I then call the agent whose response to the broken door/window is "I thought it was covered. I don't write the policies so, I don't understand all of the legal terms they use." Unbelievable! Canceling the policy has been just as bad. I can't wait until the cancellation is finalized and, I don't have to deal with any of these people any longer!

    Insureon was recommended by a company called Acushield, which services Assisted Living facilities as far as making sure that private caregivers coming on their property have the right credentials. We have to go through them and each facility is different in the amount of the insurances that they require you to have at the company if you want to continue to offer care to their residents. Travellers Insurance was not willing to up the limits on my general aggregate policy so I had to search for a different company.

    Because we’re in a business that nobody wants to insure anymore, Insureon was able to find an insurance company that route these home health care policies.     We had insurance before and I was trying to find a better option in terms of cost. I wanted a better value. I searched in Google and I called the Insureon representatives several times to get all the insurance straight. Most of my interactions with them was done online in the beginning and they did a good job in providing me with guidance about the business insurance. Since I've been with them, I experience lower cost and the ease of being able to print my certificates for our coverage to send to my customers when they request them. I have to be covered by the State of Texas. I have to have a certain amount of general liability coverage and my customers request proof of that.     The policy payment was made in full on 4/6/2017 via Insureon's payment portal site. Agent, Denise ** claimed the payment was forwarded to Hartford on 4/7/2017 and that the payment would be applied to the account within 10 business days. After the 10 business days passed, I contacted Denise several times regarding the payment and she assured me that it was sent and confirmed it with the Hartford billing department. I spoke to a Hartford customer service rep on 5/8/2017 and they informed me that the payment is still due for the full amount and that there were no notes in the system from my agent regarding the payment status. This has been the worst service I've ever experienced. I would expect a phone call from a supervisor to resolve this matter or I will file a formal complaint.

    I emailed the representative I had before for tech insurance but he was no longer with the company. Somebody picked up the email because I had dropped my insurance program since I wasn’t doing any business through my company for a while and the new representative emailed me and pointed me to the online application.     I had a client that required a different kind of insurance than we already had in order to get the job. Insureon came up high on the search engine and it was easy to put a minimum amount of information in to get a quote back. All the interactions with their reps were good when I could reach them but sometimes they were busy and it was difficult to contact them. They always answered e-mails though. But when they were fast, they were fast. And when they weren’t, I got answers within four hours which was not terrible.

    Insureon set you up to expect instant because everything is so easy on the website. But when we had an emergency rush, they hurried it through as we had a bid pending. Also, once I got ahold of the representative that was assigned to me, she smoothed it out every single time, answered the questions quickly and got me right through it.

    When I filled out the answers to their generic questions, I got three quotes. I then picked one of the quotes and I got the application which had answers on it based on the generic questions. But they didn’t quite fit and I had to get a hold of Insureon and walked through some of the questions with them. The automated process is still a little clunky. Different insurance companies word their questions differently so a generic form doesn’t really do it justice. But overall, Insureon is faster than your normal insurance agencies.

After many calls and emails, the addition of a clause after 7 weeks - no progress. So disappointed and angry and such a waste of time. This was suppose to be easy.
