Our experience with Insureon has been good. I get in touch with them whenever I have a problem and they've been easy to get a hold of. I have a company and I needed the certificate of insurance for my client, so I have taken insurance from them. As of now, I still haven't claimed anything. I just know that my company is insured. I have a security in my mind that my company is covered. And whenever I need them for anything, they are available on the phone on the particular business hours. So far, they've been very helpful and things have been going smoothly.

I'm not sure what they are like for bigger companies but for small companies they are the absolute worst! It is virtually impossible to reach anyone. They do not respond to emails, they do not call back, and they do not answer their phone or look at their voicemails. I'm not blaming the employee either... this is probably due to the fact that the company gives their employees too many business accounts to manage for small business insurance. That is not fair to me the customer and that is not fair to their employees!!! No wonder I have a new agent every other week...It prob sucks to work there!

I needed an insurance and Insureon was the most available. I did everything online and navigating through their website was fine. I was satisfied with my experience with them.

I enjoyed the experience with the person that was helping me set up everything, but it went south after that. I thought that I have insurance, but then they sent me back something saying they never got the payment. So, they still ended up billing me for the insurance even though I never used it. They couldn’t explain what happened. My initial experience was good and I felt I had clarity, but when it came down to actually working with that insurance company that they referred me to, everything went downhill. They made me feel like I owed them all of this money, but I did everything that I was supposed to do on my end.

I was trying to get a quote from my local people but they kinda took too long. I was trying to get a quote for over a week. I needed it badly. I got online and started looking up places that would do general liability insurance. In the beginning, Insureon was very quick and they were great. When I filled everything out, I was locked in with them. The insurance was higher than what I could have been provided, but that was okay. I can’t do anything about it right now.

Something happened at the Insureon in Chicago, Illinois. They do not answer the phone. Also they don't respond to any emails. An agent sent an email listing his phone number and it is not his phone number, it is a phone number for some telemarketer. Some of us wonder if they are here, sounds like they are in India or somewhere.

Insureon sounded like a good company, and so I just went with it. I do a lot of online shopping, and they were kinda near the top of the list and had some good reviews. The gentleman I dealt with was very nice. So far, so good.

I got Insureon after getting quotes in using them and the lowest price. They’ve all been good, very straight-to-the-point and they take care of business rather quickly. They were real knowledgeable in what I needed. We’re looking to expand to employees, so we’re gonna have to get the workmen’s compensation insurance here in a few months.

My son's phone was damaged. And when my dad had purchased the line, he wanted to have the insurance added in the event that anything happened. I'm glad we did that because he ended up damaging his phone, so, we were able to get a replacement. Everything was quick. We were able to receive the phone fairly quickly as well. Our experience was good and easy overall. Also, they have good customer service.

It was easy to get a quote with Insureon. Once I started looking around, it was really straightforward. I got really fast quotes and all the insurance I needed. I really wanted what was required in business insurance and I didn't have a problem getting that. And when I needed a few documents for a building I was leasing, I didn't have a problem getting those. The only issue I had was I wasn't quite sure if I did the monthly, quarterly or yearly billing so I didn't get a bill for a long time. It turned out that I was late. But we got it figured out now and I paid whatever was needed upfront. I guess there was just a mix-up.

Initially, I called one company and I was on hold for a long time and never talked to anyone. I called Insureon and their reps were very responsive and answered a bunch of questions over the phone. They were really customer service-friendly. My rep Andy was very good as I never had to wait for anything. She responds to emails and gets me what I need right away. With Insureon, things get taken care of all the time. If I have additional Insurance, they get it done in a day.

I liked Insureon's price. I went with them and the rep whom I worked with was very helpful. I received great guidance too. Overall, going with Insureon was a good experience.

I was getting ready to start a big job in a city building and I needed liability insurance of $3 million. And when I started looking around, there's always the naysayers online but there was a lot of good reviews for Insureon through a Google search. And so, that’s when I reached out to Mike. He was the rep who helped me through the process. I started out via phone call, just very sure that they could get what I needed, told me that they’d let me know in about 20 minutes via email, they’d sent some quotes over, and within 15 minutes, the quotes were there. And I emailed back and forth with Mike a few times and called and paid and within an hour and a half I had insurance. It was awesome.

I was starting a company and I was searching online for business insurance. I was able to apply for it and getting it was a big factor, 'cause I was looking to start my business. My experience with Insureon has been okay. Whenever I need to get a hold of them, they’ve been pretty prompt. Whenever I need to get the paperwork for proof of insurance, it’s been fine and easy to print up as well. And they’ll add people on there when I need it. So, that’s fine.

Insureon came up on Google and they were the first one that I saw, so I called them. Everything is good with my experience with them.

How easy Insureon was led me to inquire about them. Their reps did everything they said they were going to do. They handled everything just right, and they were able to answer any question I had. Overall, the experience was pleasant.

Asked for quotes online and received "none at this time". Tried to dial the number that is listed on the website and it gave no option to talk to an operator. I had to either check the directory by name, dial the extension of someone I knew or leave a message. I called during business hours. Also the quote form kept defaulting to auto insurance and I was only interested in General liability. I have no idea if I will ever get a quote, but I don't have time to hang around waiting for someone to call me back. Quiet time in the office is rare and I need that to sort out commercial insurance.

I want to say state that I had a good initial experience w/ Insureon. I was a new startup business that needed general liability insurance. When I needed something they did come through. However, fast forward a year and I realized that I could get the same coverage for MUCH cheaper. I gave them the opportunity to re-quote but it never happened. The price was going to stay the same. No problem - I get my new policy and close out my account only to find out that the gentlemen from Insureon have given me a little bad information. Said I was covered for up to a certain amount of business. Long story short because of the salesman telling a tall tale I had to pay an additional $200, (this after paying way more than I should have) That's business, when I approached them about the incorrect information I was given, they couldn't have cared less. I'll never do business with them again nor would I suggest to someone to do business with Insureon.

I’ve had General Liability and Umbrella Liability Policies for my business with them for years. We chose them when we first started our Small Business because of the price, and how easy and fast it is to get insurance certificates on the portal. The only reason we haven’t switched is because of the price, however we plan to pay the extra for a better company at the end of our policy this year because of how awful these people are. They only give you the contact information for your “agent,” every year we have a different agent, and can never get a hold of any of them via phone or email. In recent years we’ve needed to provide some specific documentation from our policies to contractors that isn’t readily available like certificates are, last year it took 3 months for my agent to send me two pages that should have been, but weren’t included in my copy of the policies, this year they never sent me updated copies of our policies.

I had a very good and quick experience with Insureon. We had to do get business insurance quickly, which the rep knew, and he did it fast. He was very good and he did his job. I had to answer questions so they could offer a quote on what I sold that year.

My experience with Insureon was good. Their rates were pretty much the best I could find. Everything was efficient time-wise. Time is money and I don't have lots of time. And they were quick to give me what I needed and we transitioned from my old company.

I was looking just to get an errors and omissions insurance from Insureon. And then, I was searching for different appointments and I saw that Insureon provides the platform for startup businesses. However, the application takes a long time. And then, I tried two claims and both were rejected. Nobody did anything.

I got a lot of responses and then, after they had me with a carrier, I have yet to hear back from them. I've left five messages and three emails but I never had a phone call or returned email from anybody. I don’t plan on renewing with them. I will find somebody else because it's been that bad.

I didn’t have an invoice for quite some time and I needed them to change the wording in the policy to meet the contractual needs of the contract that I hold. It took a long time and a lot of effort to work it out. Still, they eventually got it changed and they did a good job. Given that, Insureon needs a mechanism online for a customer who has a policy, to be able to connect with a company to tell them about an issue. The way it is now, the only connection is with the associate and in order to do an online chat, the associate has to have enabled that for you. So, if the associate is the issue, you have no mechanism to contact the company and tell them they have a problem. But now, they have made the changes necessary for me to be successful and I am happy.

Insureon got back to me right away and I was able to call and ask questions, so I went with them. It was good dealing with their representative. Most of the time, he was available and when I left messages he returned my calls right away. However, I was trying to also get workers comp and that was kind of the frustrating part because I was not informed that I had to get the workers comp after getting the insurance. I’ve been in the industry for a while, so that was a cheap tactic. And so far, I’m trying to get some jobs but they require the workers comp and that has been a pain to get now.

Compared to other companies, Insureon was very open to providing only what we needed. We do a lot of coaching and stuff online and we work from home, there are a few people that we meet with in person, we have a church in the area that allows us to meet with clients there. So, a lot of the insurance companies who I dealt with wanted us a to have a liability property insurance as well. Even though that’s not applicable to us, they wouldn’t give us the coverage that was just what we needed. Insureon was flexible with that. I just dealt with one guy. He was very good at getting back to me in a timely fashion. He worked with me just depending on just what our needs were.

I got it two months ago and so far, it has been good. I will recommend Insureon to my friend if they want a cheap insurance for their business.

I set up a new company and I started working as an independent contractor. The company that I was going to do a contract with had a requirement that I should have insurance for general liability and professional technical liability. They recommended Insureon and told me that this is one of the most affordable and kind of good insurance that I could look into. There was another company, but I didn't find their quote to be comparable with the one that I got from Insureon. So, I ended up with Insureon.

We had an insurance policy set up with Insureon for months. We recently were notified that our policy was cancelled. No explanation. We have tried to contact them multiple times to no avail. Terrible customer service.

When calling in, it's really hard to get ahold of anybody to talk to. So now, I'm due to have no coverage for a while.

I was told about Insureon by a company called ALKU and I inquired about Insureon's insurance because of the ease of use. They looked to the market rather than going to individual people. I had a lot of experience on that, so it made it easier to go to one person or one company. The representatives were great and very quick. I like to do things over email and they were very accommodating with that. They always have very quick turnarounds, like within an hour. I would recommend them to a friend, although if they find a different company that had lower prices, I would still advise them to go with those. Price is always the factor when I'm picking insurance. As long as it meets the requirements, then I'd always pick price over company.

Insureon has a good website and their reps were nice and helpful. They didn't constantly call me every five minutes. Now, I'm insured and they made the process easy for me.

Horrible, agent gave no information regarding payments nor about policy. Just sent me an email with a form to fill out. I would call and send emails with no response. I needed a GL insurance for small seasonal landscaping. I filled out the form, and sent it. A month later I had to cancel due to work problems. I found out that the Insureon took out a loan for the policy. I thought I had to pay monthly statements, they took out a loan amount of 1240.00, also I paid 500 dollars upfront thinking it would go towards my policy, I found out later that they were all sign up fees.

I paid for flood insurance, have the receipt, Insureon confirms payment. Yet I received a cancellation notice from the underwriter for reason of non payment a month after I purchased the annual policy. When I contacted my Insureon agent, he said Insureon's accounting department had made a mistake. I've been sending follow-up emails and getting radio silence. Two months after paying for insurance I am left uncovered and spending too much time trying to chase down Insureon. Agent seems like it's not his problem and he can't be bothered. I'm giving it 3 more days and then I'm going to give up and try a chargeback with the CC company. Businesses occasionally make mistakes. It's how they handle the mistakes that show their character. In case of Insureon, it is very low character indeed. Maybe the state AG needs to hear about this.

I paid Insureon for a full year of insurance. Unfortunately I had to close my business and requested a refund of the unused portion. I was told a refund would be made after submitting a cancellation form. After submitting my form I waited. After several weeks I reached out to my agent and he told me I needed to resubmit my form. After resubmitting my form and waiting for several more weeks I submitted no less than 10 emails trying to get information on the progress of my refund. My initial email was sent February 12 and today May 31st I have sent more emails with no explanation why I haven't received my refund. Insurance people would quote rates which were not that attractive but Insureon offered a good deal. They get the cheapest one because they deal with a lot of other insurance companies. The way Insureon conducts its business is remarkable and there should be more people like theirs so business would be very easy.

Six months later, someone throws a concrete block through your front door, which is nothing but glass at 2:30 AM. This vandal, then enters your business looking for anything of value with no care as to any other damage done.

Since I've been with them, I experience lower cost and the ease of being able to print my certificates for our coverage to send to my customers when they request them. I have to be covered by the State of Texas. I have to have a certain amount of general liability coverage and my customers request proof of that. So instead of calling somebody and go through all the rigmarole of getting the certificates, I go online and do everything at the same time or within a couple of hours if it has to be approved. I'm happy with the product that Insureon offers.

The policy payment was made in full on 4/6/2017 via Insureon's payment portal site. Agent, Denise ** claimed the payment was forwarded to Hartford on 4/7/2017 and that the payment would be applied to the account within 10 business days. After the 10 business days passed, I contacted Denise several times regarding the payment and she assured me that it was sent and confirmed it with the Hartford billing department. I spoke to a Hartford customer service rep on 5/8/2017 and they informed me that the payment is still due for the full amount and that there were no notes in the system from my agent regarding the payment status. This has been the worst service I've ever experienced. I would expect a phone call from a supervisor to resolve this matter or I will file a formal complaint.

I emailed the representative I had before for tech insurance but he was no longer with the company. Somebody picked up the email because I had dropped my insurance program since I wasn’t doing any business through my company for a while and the new representative emailed me and pointed me to the online application. I filled it out and she responded very quickly that they received the information and that she’d be gathering quotes. Once the quotes were in, she let me know that they were available.

I had started a quote and come back to finish it later, and got different amounts each time. Just FYI the more info you put in, the more accurate your quote will be. I like that they follow up but aren't spam-y.

As I was shopping for insurance for the business online, Insureon came on in one of the searches. It was easy for me to go with the company because I already recognized it. Interactions with the rep were through emails. We went back and forth telling him what I wanted or if I wanted to change something and he would reply and readjust. He was quick to respond to what I needed and was also pretty pleasant. People always want a lower rate and save some money, but also want to make sure that they're with a great carrier and basically, that tipped off the lever. I believe I was actually paying less money and the new carrier that I got was a lot better.

Pricing was one of the most affordable. Customer was borderline horrible. It took several, SEVERAL emails to get my questions answered. I still haven't had all my questions' answers. This is a typical corporate company. It's all about taking your money 1st and everything else is secondary. I had to cancel my policy because I moved out of state. I am OK with that. I was told it would take up to 60 days for a refund?? But you want my money now for a new policy? Of course you do. I still after weeks of correspondence, or lack thereof, have not gotten a answer on HOW I will be refunded.

Let me start out by saying the on-phone audit is great. It's getting to that point that is a bit of an inbox circus. I must have three to four different people emailing me to sign the same document, the one that I've already signed mind you. I would rather deal with one representative but it seems more like I'm picked out of a hat randomly by a number of different employees, who then just email me instead of checking to see if I was already contacted. I do not look forward to this next year.

I can just go to their portal and then a lot of my questions are answered right there. I've talked to their agents, and they're good and really helpful. Whenever I call Insureon, their specialists really understand what I'm talking about. Their senior agents are quick to resolve issues and they're always online. The follow-up is good, too. Overall, Insureon has good customer service.

I've been speaking with Rita, an Insureon rep, and she doesn’t come off as the friendliest. Our insurance expired and when our bank people contacted us, I contacted her asking for a certificate. At this point, I didn’t know it had expired. She was snarky and said she sent me two emails. We own a business so a lot of emails come through. She could have picked up the phone and called me. Although she helped get it going again, I had to keep coming back and ask questions. So it was frustrating and made both my husband and I aggravated. If somebody had just called us, it wouldn’t have been that of a negative experience.

I had a client that required a different kind of insurance than we already had in order to get the job. Insureon came up high on the search engine and it was easy to put a minimum amount of information in to get a quote back. All the interactions with their reps were good when I could reach them but sometimes they were busy and it was difficult to contact them. They always answered e-mails though. But when they were fast, they were fast. And when they weren’t, I got answers within four hours which was not terrible.

I have a small business and we have an insurance for it from Insureon. The only problem I had so far is that Insureon didn't renew the plan at the end of the year. I thought they were taking the payment out but it wasn't taken out. I had to buy a whole new payment plan and when I had to do that, I wasn't insured for that week or two. Other than that, everything else is good.

I would highly recommend this company for anyone who has a home-based business and also does events with it... or works with a consignment store. It was simple to apply, extremely affordable, and set my mind at ease - so that means more than great! Ease was the factor that led me to inquire about Insureon's insurance. My interactions with the representatives were very good, smooth, and prompt. I actually ended up dealing with the insurance agent. My understanding is that Insureon lost the request and the quote to the company that I picked, and I did most of the email exchange with the agent from the actual provider. I discussed my business insurance with the representative from the end company, and I received very good guidance. I bought the insurance, kept it, and paid for it. Overall, it was good with Insureon and I'm satisfied. The process was easy.

Customer Service was amazing. My experience when I needed help adding a client to the policy went incredibly smooth. The only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars is that the Hartford sent me bills saying I had not paid and the policy was going to be canceled. In the end it was paid but not until right before it was set to expire for lack of payment. That was troubling but since it was paid in the end I'm satisfied.

A company was asking to add extra coverage but I wasn’t getting a good response from my current insurance so I inquired about Insureon. I interacted with the rep through email because it was easier and I got a quick response even on days or nights where I thought she wasn’t going to be there. She gave me quotes and sent the information really quickly. She knew what to put on there and what my customer was asking. If I didn’t have all that, we weren't going to be able to sign the contract. I needed it done and she did it. Overall, if I need anything, I can go online or call and I'll be able to get somebody there to help me.

Initially it was a really good experience, but there you cannot get hold of your representative. I thought I had send over the requirements from the office before ordering the policy. After many calls and emails, the addition of a clause after 7 weeks - no progress. So disappointed and angry and such a waste of time. This was suppose to be easy. Now think it is easier to cancel the policy. :( How does it get better than this?
