This insurance company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I want to highlight some key points that illustrate my experience:

    1. The deductible is an outrageous $3,500, and unfortunately, that's all the coverage they provide.

    2. The level of coverage they offer is significantly below industry standards and again thats the only coverage they provide.

Now, let me share my frustrating experience. I was involved in an accident back in June of this year. From that moment on, my dealings with this company have been nothing short of exasperating. It took them until early November—nearly five months—to submit the necessary paperwork to the other insurance company to process my claim.

Throughout this ordeal, I found them uncooperative and unhelpful. They informed me that they don’t deal with gap insurance or coordinate with the other company, which left me to handle everything on my own. I had to make countless phone calls, continuously follow up, and endure long periods of being ignored whenever I inquired about the paperwork. It felt like I was being brushed aside while I tried to find answers.

In conversations with friends and family, I heard multiple stories of how other insurance companies effectively manage claims and provide timely support when issues arise. It made me realize just how incompetent this company is, and it's clear they should be put out of business for their lack of service. To top it all off, the letter of agreement I received—after a frustrating back-and-forth—included additional charges that I was never informed about beforehand. This last-minute change only compounded my frustration.

I don’t typically write negative reviews, but I feel it’s necessary to share my experience so that others can avoid making the same mistake I did. If you’re considering going with this company just to save a few bucks, think again. If you ever find yourself in a precarious situation like mine, you will undoubtedly regret not investing in a more reputable company that stands by its customers and has solid principles.

Please stay away from this insurance company. I was rear ended at a red light by their client (he was at fault and admitted his fault). My car needed repairs and NO body shop in DFW wants to work with them, I begged a local company to work on my car. Sewell and Caliber Collision flat out refused to do anything with Fred Loya, I can’t blame them. They’ll return your call after 3 months! They’ll tell you the letter in the mail and you’ll receive nothing. I submitted a diminished value claim, they said, “The State of Texas has not set forth any kind of formula or guidelines for determining the dollar value for diminished value claims. Therefore, the Company looks at each claim individually, and diminished value remains subjective.” Which means my request was denied. If you’re shopping for car insurance please go with companies that value you and your business. You have to think about others affected especially when you are at fault.

This company ruined my auto insurance premium. They did nothing on a fraud insurance claim towards me. Fraud because there was no injury and no vehicle damage [got picture to prove} instead of investigating and be on my side since I pay them they rather pay the claim and settle with the other. My insurance doubled and everywhere I go the premium went up because of it. I can understand that the cost will go up but never thought it would double considering I had no tickets or claims prior for many years.. Only took one claim with these people and all the driving safely and ticket free meant nothing.. So much for justice. I hope you stay away from this company and if you don't believe me just read the next reviewer and the one after that.. Good luck

Hope and pray you never hit anyone and that nobody hits you. Worst experience. Even with full coverage they are a hassle to deal with and don't want to pay out. I got hit by a motorcycle and couldn't get the guy's info because he was injured. I couldn't get his info until highway patrol gave it to me and Fred Loya has been so difficult to deal with. When I finally got his info and started talking to his insurance it was so easy and quick. I noticed a huge difference. Don't even bother. They want your monthly payments but don't want to help when there's actually an accident.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. No appraisers on site. Instead a rep is sent out to your vehicle to take pictures and an appraiser out of state gets to decide what they feel needs to be done without seeing the car firsthand. Rental has to be paid out of pocket with POTENTIAL to be reimbursed but no guarantee. If you are hit by someone with this insurance, do yourself a favor and get a lawyer right away.

No stars but I had to choose in order to submit this review. This is a very bad idea for an insurance company. They are only month to month. Not a good idea. The whole policy expires after 1 month unless you keep renewing it. You will pay them month to month and God forbids something happens all that money is wasted all you actually have is the money you put in for the current month unless you have an accident every month right after you've made a payment and then they will tell you that you haven't put in enough money for that month to have a good claim.

Absolutely WORST company. I had a 2022 Corolla with full coverage. I had a dashcam proving it was NOT my fault. After they deemed it a total loss they forced us to pay Tommy Graham Collision to have the car release, that's something they should have paid. My car was valued at $13,000 they only offered $8,000 minus the $2000 deductible. You get what you pay for. Needless to say, I'm with State Farm now. I'm paying $100 more but like I said, You get what you pay for. It boggles my mind how this company is still in business.

I have worked in a collision center for 7 years and already knew how awful Fred Loya was to work with as a repair shop. When a woman on my street backed into my car while I was parked across the street, and I saw her insurance was Fred Loya, I wanted to cry. My accident happened on 07/05 and should have been an easy 4-5 day fix tops. Six weeks later my insurance is still battling with them, and they are telling us they will only cover 70% because "I was in my car when it was hit and took no evasive action to avoid the collision". This is a BALD FACED LIE and the most absurd thing I have heard in my 30 years of driving and numerous past claims. I was parked & standing in the street yelling at the woman to stop before she hit my car and she kept on backing up.

They are impossible to get a hold of, the adjusters are rude and unprofessional (mine hung up on me during our very first call), they will lie about being able to contact their insured to delay things as much as possible and hope to wear you down. If you ever have the unfortunate luck to be hit by a Loya driver I am sorry in advance. These people need to be put out of business. One Google search will tell you all you need to know. They get an even lower rating here than on Yelp.

Then today, they told me the claim was denied because their insured refused to cooperate with the investigation. After a month of back and forth I called them back and told them I need to get my car fixed because the other person Insurance company is giving me the run around. I was sent to Fred Loya insurance office to a person whom was not a certified car repair place, and they hook something up to my car took measurements of my Mercedes and gave me an estimate of $400.00, I laugh and took my car to a real automotive mechanic and got my car fixed.

Cannot go into it all but had to write the BBB, department of insurance, and was getting ready to sue them for bad faith insurance practices, but they paid for my vehicle to get fixed. Now let's see how long it will take them to get my deductible back because if I wait for them it will be years, so to small claims court I go to sue the person who hit my car and get my money back because the courts will determine who is at fault and I will get paid rather than wait for years and never get anything.

Updated on 07/20/2024: This is the second review with my experience with Loya Insurance. It's been over 2 months, and as of today, I have not received their very low damage repair check. I have sent emails, voicemails, to the claims adjuster, and 2 supervisors. Nobody from Loya Insurance has contacted me with an update. I would give them a minus 2 if I could. I tried to contact the VP of Insurance claims, but I kept getting the run-around, and was not able to leave a message or send an email. Their customer service, in my opinion, is horrible.

Original: I filed a claim with Fred Loya insurance after one of their clients backed into my truck. The driver never took the time to slowly back up before the driver pulled out of the parking space. Long story short, their claims adjuster only approved less than 30% of the real estimate which I got from 2 collision shops that are willing to work with Loya Insurance. The other 5 will not handle Loya insurance claims. Stay away from their "cheap insurance", as this is what you will get when you need them on a claim.

I’m am reading so many reviews, with similar issues I am currently having with Fred Loya, and I am disgusted that this place is still in operation! On Jan, 2 2024 my parked car was totaled by a Fred Loya insured driver. The next day I decided to give them a call to see if a claim has been filed by the driver, and see what was going on. This is when the nightmare started. I called the claim number that was on their website, and was on hold for 30-min to a hour. I started to read reviews of Fred Loya, and immediately started to panic. After waiting another 15 listening to the elevator music, I decided to use a different phone and instead of reaching out to claims, I would ask for a quote in hopes I would talk to an agent, and be transferred to someone who could assist me.

To my amazement it actually worked! Funny thing too was it was actually the claim dept! I was beyond relieved to finally be talking to someone. I actually filed my claim, and everything was going as it should. At least I thought.. They sent over some DocuSign docs for me to sign for authorization for Fred Loya to pick up my vehicle from the tow yard. I even talked to an agent Rafael the next day, and he said Fred Loya was going to pay the 500$+ tow fees, and pick the car up. Then said I should receive a call soon from a claims adjuster in regards to compensation. At this point I was just happy to get the tow company out of my hair.

I finally did get that call on the 17th of Jan. Then was told my car was still at tow yard! My jaw dropped. Then was told I’m getting a check overnighted to me for 440 to pay the tow company. Are you serious!! First I did everything that was told to do by Fred Loya, and they said it’s taken care of. By now the fees are well over a thousand dollars, racking up a 100$ a day. All this on top of an insulting payment for my car. Only catch is I have to first take care of the tow company. This is the worst experience I have ever dealt with as far as businesses are concerned.

I am fighting this. I also encourage others on here to do the same. File a report to your state's department of insurance. Also I see others have claimed a class action lawsuit should be filed. I completely agree. I would not know where to start though. But I will start a group on Reddit. I’ll name it Fred Loya The Scammer. Everyone who has been done wrong by them can meet there. Hopefully someone who is educated in the manner can help point in the right direction. This company can not keep doing this to hard working individuals.

Lemmie tell you why...I had been insured with them I had liability coverage 15000 dollars what the policy limit..I got into a head on collision well texting on my phone...Ran a red light all my fault and I admit that from the start of it...If you looked at the cars you would have thought everyone had died thankfully we all walked away I am sorry for what I did...Now it took 2 and a half years to settle the Civil case against me, the other side got a scum bag lawyer like you see on TV. Grab and Durango you're dirt bags..They played dirty. They thought they won the lottery and were going for blood...

I was no longer insured by Fred but for 2 and a half years they stuck by me and defended me. (Shout out to my lawyer Gail) 2 and a half years she fought a case I admitted I was at fault for. They were trying to sue me for 500,000. My insurance covered 15,000. If we lost it was 500000 plus lawyer fees and expert fees, medical costs, the work and they were gonna milk every cent...and I had admitted guilt already...Well fred will be there for you no matter what. Even if you are no longer with him. They keep their word and have your back...

I lost that battle and they paid well way more than 15,000 dollars. I never saw a charge and I'm actually sad he won't cover me anymore but I understand why. I mean he paid 490,000 over my coverage limit and I pay one cent. Get fred loya. When ship hits the fan everyone's is gonna run, you'll be all by yourself...It's scary....But fred doesn't run. And every time he calls them to see what's going on with his claim they always tell him different things and also never call him back when they're supposed to and also they just completely ignore him most of the time.

The claims adjuster went to the tow yard where the vehicle is kept and by this time has racked up charges at $4000 in fees! Fred Loya was only willing to pay $370.00 of the $4000 Leaving me with the balance! Obviously I don’t have the approximate Amount of $3800 to release the vehicle to Fred Loya company! Because of this they said they can’t recoup the value of the vehicle which By the way it was declared a total loss!

Caught on fire and went through a concrete sound so the value of it can’t be much however because they would not pay to recover the vehicle and not able to sell the remaining ruins I was offered $13,000 for a fully insured $25,000 vehicle! Leaving me to come up with $12,000 to pay my lender! I feel that full coverage means (full) coverage and all expenses should be paid! I’m not sure how to proceed! I don’t have $12,000. From the initial pictures, to the original estimate of damages to my vehicle the whole process has been a joke ($4300 according to Fred Loya, Caliber Collision estimated $13,000+).

The vehicle was deemed a total loss on 6/22/22, and here it is 8/10/22 I still have no resolution. The communication is terrible, documents/checks are always "pending", adjusters gives you the run around, everything has to get approved by management which seems to take forever. Not to mention the rental division is a joke. Literally given a $347 check for a rental which doesn't even cover a week in the equivalent of my vehicle. I've literally been without a vehicle since the accident, and they could care less. Currently trying to get them to send documentation/check to my lien holders and I am still waiting. I sent along my own pictures and video evidence of the crash to the adjustor and never heard anything. Two months went by and after multiple phone calls, the adjustor finally called me back and said they never received my emails and their driver said their car was never in an accident, despite there being VIDEO PROOF that they hit me, me having all their information, etc.

To make sure they were getting my video, I contacted their general email where they were responded to messages up until I sent them the video, then radio silence. I called this office and sent them the video, where they confirmed on the phone they received the email, and were told to pass it along to the adjustor. Still nothing. Judging by others' reviews, if you do not drive with them, they will do everything in their power to avoid you and not pay for damages. If you do have insurance through them, they will hook you in with their low premiums but absolutely screw you over with their sky-high deductibles and payout much lower than the damage actually is. I cannot understand how they are allowed to practice in such bad faith. Nothing would make me happier than seeing them shut down for malpractice.

Fred Loya is very sneaky with how they word things and what they will/won't cover. Their cheap rates isn't cheap, it's actually overcharging you for liability. On Declaration Pages, it'll show $500 deductibles on your Comp and Collision but in reality, it's $500 to your finance company. It's $1,000 on your Comp and $2,000 on your collision. Basically you're not covered at all because $1,000 on Comp is literally nothing and $2,000 for collision will leave you in debt. They will also refuse to change coverage and unless you threaten to cancel, they will then change the coverage.

This guy laughed and said "that's not my problem. It's not my fault you're not responsible enough to get your daughter to the doctor." Shook by the comment I said, "So your driver wrecked my car and now It's not you responsibility?" He then said, "I'm sorry you're poor and can't afford a rental." It started with them running my payment 10 days in advance granted I had the money in my account but it somehow declined. Mind you no notification from my bank that something was declined. So we call the day before our payment is due to find out what is going on. Without much explanation they said we had too many claims and that the "underwriters" made the decision to no longer insure us going forward. I told them I have been a loyal customer for almost 6 years now. When we asked for more details as to what the claims are they stated it was windshield replacements starting back from Dec 2014. Mind you there were a total of 4 replacements for the entirety of our business with them. With 1 replacement in the year I also live in Phoenix, AZ where we get bad dust storms so it has to be replaced 1x a year.

I was told if we went into the office that day Saturday before they close they could help me. It was 1:45 PM when I spoke with them and made it to the office by 2:15 PM. They stated that location didn't close until 3PM. When I arrived they were closed up for the day and on their way out. So a useless trip. So now I am driving my vehicle with no car insurance for unneccessary trips because of them. It should have been a red flag when they insured me without a license.

To make matters worse as I am sitting at the closest restaurant to them searching for car insurance on my phone. It pops up that I was involved in a car accident in 2017. I have a perfect driving record. No accidents and no tickets. So the fact that they report these as accidents and get an attitude when you ask them nicely to fix it blows my mind.

Apparently being a loyal customer means nothing to them and it's extremely disappointing. I use to recommend them all the time because I never had issues but after reading others experience plus my own I would tell people to run. Believe it or not Geico has way better rates plus better coverage and they are an ACTUAL insurance company who stands behind their name.

Fred Loya totaled my car and then proceeded to treat me like I was at fault when I obtained a lawyer. Long story short, they took over two months to finalize the total loss and they’ll probably claim it was my fault for the long process. When I went in to remove the total loss vehicle from the policy and remove myself (I’m done with subpar insurance companies) my mom (second driver on policy) wanted to remain as a client with Fred Loya. They told her they need approval to “ALLOW” her to proceed with insurance through them because of the amount of claims on the previous policy. WHAT?!?

FOR THE LAST 10 years NOT ONCE, has Fred Loya returned my deductible when an accident was not my fault. They’ve collected their premiums and then treat you like a criminal when opening a claim. I plan on including them in my lawsuit for my last accident. I would recommend anyone dealing with Fred Loya to lawyer up and go after them. Their claim of “no broker fees” is also false advertisement. They need to be investigated for fraudulent practices.

We were were hit by a customer of Fred Loya in a parking lot in Sept of 2019. They were unhelpful from the start. My take on it is they are interested in collecting the premiums but will do what it took to get out of paying. If my insurance did that to another person and it was my fault, I would be mad! The purpose of insurance is to pay for damage when a mistake is made. Fred Loya has a bad reputation from everyone I talked to starting with my agent, my adjuster, etc. Fred Loya wouldn't confirm if the customer had insurance since the driver, Chris, didn't have a current insurance card. I had the policy info, name and address. A photo of the proof of Chris' insurance. I then called my insurance co. (Safeco) who were great.

The Fred Loya customer, Chris, backed into my husband in a parking lot as my husband was driving by. Damage to our car was the driver's door, rear door and rear quarter panel which was over 4k of damage and will take 2 weeks to repair. Thus 2 weeks without a car. Fred Loya said they will only accept liability for 1/2 of the damage because Chris only backed out only 1 foot implying that my husband was a foot from all the parking spaces on the left with 2 way traffic. Jokes on them because I took a photo right after that blows away Fred Loya's position. Safeco reviewed and interviewed both parties and found no liability on our part. Keep in mind, my daughter and I were walking up to the scene 30 seconds after it happened. They are trying to avoid paying.

This will now go to Subrogation and then Arbitration. I'm tossing around allowing it to go to Arbitration or to pay Safeco back and sue Chris in small claims court for the full amount. It will be a shock to him when he has to come up with 4k including the deductible. If customers had to pay for the damage when Fred Loya refuses to pay, it will affect their bottom line. I suggest that folks do this if they can. At a minimum, sue for the deductible if they try to get out of it. Since they are being such jerks, I'm going to file with regulatory boards and news stations. In the unlikely event that I get stuck with a higher premium and have to pay my deductible, I will get the $2k ish out of them in reviews.

Let me start by saying if I could give a "zero" rating I would. If you want an insurance that will just take your payment each month ONLY, without the intention to ever have to actually use your insurance, then Fred Loya is the company you want. I have been insured with Fred Loya almost 4 years. I used my insurance July 2018, because someone took the entire front end of my car off in my workplace parking lot. I should have took the hint then with the bad service and delayed processing (3 and 1/2 months) then to run for the hills!!! But no, I remained loyal as a policyholder. So, my car was stolen, and damaged and you guessed it - the hassle begins. Continual request for more and more documents, rude service full of interrogation and scrutiny - as if I was the criminal. The crime was resolved, assailant arrested and bonded out and that wasn't enough for Fred Loya!

The adjuster Julius ** was absurdly rude along with the special investigator Daniel **. Anytime my emotions came into my responses, they took it as an opportunity to try to consider it as lack of information or non-compliance. Needless to say, a month and half later in this process and it's same feeling of knowing nothing was going to be done. I had not received ANY paperwork showing me how/where the car was considered as a total loss although I requested it on multiple occasions. They have no consideration for their policyholders, and they run their insurance like they are gangsters, "We'll take from you, and give you nothing ever!" Should be their motto. I escalated over the claims adjuster, his manager, and his manager's manager and it was just a waste of my energy, time, breath and tears!

Apparently, it's joyous for them to ruin people's lives, one DENIED, unpaid, or slow processed and underpaid claims at a time. Even with making the hard decision to switch insurance companies, due to the bad experiences I have had with Fred Loya, surely you know they took their payment out of my account, and told me it would be like 2 weeks to get my refund back. I would not recommend Fred Loya to my ultimate worst enemy. Their compassion for their job is non-existent and they assume every customer is trying to undermine or outsmart them. Some of us are dually employed, hard working, determined individuals. This has been the worst 3 months of my life, and I am still paying for a car that is rendered as basically "waste" according to them.

All this time wasted, waiting on them to decide what will happen only to be nowhere far from when the incident started. Apparently, this is a family owned business as I have never witnessed or talked to any other nationality than Hispanic or Mexican as an employee. Either way, talking to their management is a waste of time, making suggestions on how they can better serve us, as their hold music indicates is a joke! I follow through on that too, and you guessed it - no change!

On May 24th 2019, my car was parked in front of my house when I got hit. I was not home at the time. It was a hit and run. Not my fault. I was not even at home at the time. Once I got home I made a police report and called Loya insurance to start the a claim. I was asked to take my car in the next day so they can take pictures. I did and I was told because of the holiday it will take a little longer to process. I called the adjuster (Daisy **) on May 28th and she told she had no updates for me. It was still in process. She said she will call me with any updates. She never did.. I left many messages for her asking her to call me back. On June 1st I had a missed call but it wasn't from her. It was a co-worker of hers by the name of Oscar. I called him back and left a message. This was on a Saturday.

I called back on Monday and talked to Casy ** - a supervisor. She told me that I has missed my appointment to take my car for the pictures. That was not true. I told her that I was there and Benito had took the pictures. Then she told me that they lost my pictures. I said at what point was I going to be told this. She said that she would have to send someone out to take the pictures again and it was going to take a couple of days. And they did come to my house. He took pictures of the damage to the car my seats. My floor mats, the oil on the dip stick, even the sticker on my window from my last oil change. I told him that I was having trouble starting the car and there was a clicking noise coming from the the tires.

Today is July 31st 2019 I was told that the fuel pump is damaged and my car will not start. A claim was submitted and was denied. They said it is not accident related. Not mind you I did not have problems with my car starting before the accident. I do have full coverage and Now I have to pay 600.00 more out of pocket along with a high deductible of 1500.00. Now let see if the will fix whatever is clicking on the underneath... Can't wait til this nightmare is over. To be continued...

Every bad review about this company is more than true.. For every day I don't receive compensation for my lost car I will write a review.. I was hit by a driver on their policy, nearly two weeks ago and I still haven't received any compensation for my car that was totaled. This is my only car and I've been extremely patient. I'm this close to taking this to court and suing the company for every penny they have left. I waited a week for a claims adjuster to come out..It's been three days since then and still nothing. I call and ask them what's taking so long. They tell me, "We need to send you some documents and you have to send them back then we will send you what we owe you." I asked will they give me a rental since my car is a total loss. They told me, "No. It has to be in our shop to do that. We don't provide a rental for total loss..."

Keep in mind my car was parked in front of my house so nowhere in this claim is any of this my fault... My car was paid for and my only transportation to work. They offered me 1600 dollars for my '05 Cadillac STS... Basically forcing me to get a car note..My car isn't being replace but in fact I'm having to pay 10 times over the value of my car.. This company is the worst and deserves what ever bankruptcy they have coming.

I have been a loyal customer for 6 years, and always have paid on time. They won't give me another rental because I have used my 10 days, when I get another car you will no longer have my business. It's been 2 months since my car was looked at and a check was cut for 3k. Keep in mind the other vehicle was totaled. The Repair shops won't take Fred Loya's because they don't want to pay, I see why. The repairs exceed more than the 3k check. I need help. My car is at the shop, no repairs have not been started. I was struck by a Fred Loya insured driver who was cited and admitted fault at the scene. The initial encounter with this insurance company was frustrating and opened the door to many more frustrations as the claim went on. They would not accept 100% fault until they had gotten a statement from their driver and kept claiming they could not get a statement from her. Meanwhile, my insurance company had already completed their investigation in which the other driver was cooperative and admitted fault to my insurance company. There was a police report filed citing the other driver as well as the information my insurance company shared with them to help expedite the process. They still would not move forward until they got a statement from their driver. Their driver went to a local office and completed a written statement that apparently was "lost in the shuffle."

Finally they accepted liability using just the police report and me calling every single day bugging them about progress. I had already went to an auto body shop and had them prepare an estimate but they required me to go to someone they worked with. The auto body shop quoted my damages at $3200. Fred Loya cut me a check for $870!!! I argued with them and they said that I would need to take it to a body shop and their adjuster would need to walk through it with the body shop before they provide the supplemental amount. They only approved a rental car for 3 days and expected me to leave my car at a shop until they could get someone out there to look at it. I refused and said that I will not leave my car until the insurance payout matches the body shop quote.

It is now 2 months later and I am finally taking my car to get repaired. They bounced me back and forth from this person to that person and even when I requested a supervisor, I still was not pleased with how they handled it. I was in a previous accident (again not my fault) with a State Farm customer and State Farm was amazing! I did not feel they were trying to screw me over at any time but with Fred Loya, I had a bad vibe from the start and it has been nothing but hassle! There was no easy part to dealing with them even in a cut and dry situation like mine. This should not have taken 2 months to resolve and had I not fought and stand my ground to get the proper payout, they would have royally screwed me.

They ended up making the crash my fault and after things get even worse. They sent a tow truck to my home where my car was parked. Fred Loya called me and said the car is going to be picked up and sent to our partner shops 40 miles away and will give us a quote on the repairs needed for my car. They later called me back and said the car will be repaired in about a month and I will be able to go get a rental for the time being. I got ripped off by Enterprise fraudulently signing and approving their extra insurance which was 150$. After which Fred Loya never returned my call about helping me fix that. I had to pay....

Later I get my car and things were okay for a while. They fixed my car and now 1 year later my car repairs from their shop started to fail. The shop fixed it for "free" under warranty and so on. Now I had to get rid of my car now to having a baby and needed something bigger. I found out during my trade-in process of my car that Fred Loya NEVER explained to me that my car during the accident sustained structural frame damage! This in my CarFax report showed up and the DMV reported my car to be SALVAGED! My trade in value dropped more than $10,000 because Fraud Loya decided to fix my car and never mention that the vehicle should have been PAID OFF especially with my GAP insurance due to a salvageable accident. They won't release my car because Fred Loya went back on parts they approved and kicked me out of the rental car. I have to pay for 100% of my repairs even though the driver was at fault. I've heard this company is fraudulent and I truly believe it should be investigated. How they deal with claims is beyond bad. I have been communicating with adjuster a supervisor who would only identify himself as Ricardo, and appraiser, since March 2019, when Fred Loya client's truck driven by a person who was arrested at the scene for DUI, had a one car accident that damaged my real estate property. The driver left the road and drove through and demolished 35 feet of my fence, and slammed into my healthy, mature oak tree. The tree was severely damaged and two tree specialists (one a certified arborist) stated that the tree would not survive, would become a hazard, and should be cut down. After my providing all information, including proposals from contractors and photos of the wreck and damage, Fred Loya sent me a check, without conditions or requirement to sign a release. However, this only covered about half of my immediate damages.

After many arguments and speaking to one of the tree specialist, Mr. ** finally agreed to reimburse me for the cost of cutting down the tree, as well as the fence damage. In the interest of expediency, I agreed to forego seeking full remediation expenses which would include complete removal of the tree trunk and roots, replacing soil, and replacing the lost tree with a mature red oak. I also agreed to sign a release from any and all further claims regarding this incident.

However, the release sent to me not only released Fred Loya and their client from all further claims, it contained false language that I am unwilling to sign. The original release contained this paragraph: “It is understood and agreed that this settlement is the compromise of a doubtful and disputed claim, and that the payment is not to be construed as an admission of liability on the part of the party or parties hereby released, and that said releasees deny liability thereof and intend merely to avoid litigation and buy their peace.”

The claim is neither “doubtful” or “disputed”. The client and Fred Loya as insurer have clear liability for a DUI one car accident. This paragraph basically states that I filed a nuisance claim without merit and am only being paid to avoid a lawsuit. This is a lie that I am unwilling to sign. It damages my reputation and could cause me problems with future insurers. It is also unnecessary to the purpose of releasing Fred Loya and their client from any further claim or expense. That is fully covered in the other two paragraphs. I deleted this inaccurate paragraph and signed the release and sent it back to Mr. **. Mr. ** is refusing to accept the signed release and pay the remainder of the claim. I have informed him that if I have to press this claim, I will not be foregoing the full amount needed to “make me whole” which would be many thousands more. I feel I am being extorted to sign a false statement in order for my damages to be paid.

I was hit while parked in traffic by a car that spun out of control traveling around 20 mph, and slammed into the side of my SUV while my kids were in it. I decided to use his insurance to process the claim as my deductible is high, and I'd have to pay out of pocket first before being reimbursed. He was insured by Fred Loya... I was already uneasy as I had never heard of them before...

This began a very long process with Fred Loya. Fred Loya originally estimated (by taking a photo of the damage) that my damage would cost $27 to fix. They also sent me $75 for a rental car and said, "Thank you, all good." I called the adjuster, which was hard, you need to call multiple times to get them, and explained there as no way on earth the damage was $27. They argued with me that it was just a scratch and I said, "No. There's a very large dent..." And I said, "Well thats because you're taking photos in the sun" etc etc...

The only saving grace is they let me take it to any body shop I wanted, so I went to a trusted place that does claims for big dealerships and State Farm. They immediately laughed at the $27 estimate, and after a week of work it costed over $1100! They also still haven't paid for my rental car which they said they would, which totaled over $400. The adjusters have cute voicemails that say they'll return calls the same day if gotten before a certain cutoff, which is a blatant lie, they never do.

I even had one adjuster switch to his car phone as we were mid conversation and I could barely hear him... Calling their company and dealing with these guys is a nightmare, and ultimate test of patience. They try and cut corners at every level, have horrible customer service, and have one of the worst reputations in the auto repair industry. Pray you never get hit by a person insured with this company, they are dishonest and an absolute waste of time. I got into an argument w one of their adjusters that the $27 estimate was absurd and he fought back endlessly, and called my honesty into question... Well the $1100 bill from a reputable collision repair place is what you can rest on Fred Loya. This place is so dishonest it's probably not gonna last that many more years.

Clearly, their question was a witch hunt to find a way to deny coverage to their client, and get out of paying a $550 claim. Coverage that their client paid good money for!!

There were more questions about their client, then questions about me that had absolutely nothing to do with determining who was at fault. They never asked what actually happened!!! BUYER BEWARE! Fred Loya Insurance is nothing short of a scamming organization masking itself as a reputable insurance company. During the month of January 2019, their insured’s vehicle crashed into my fence causing significant property damage. Police took a report which clearly stated their insured was negligent. However, Fred Loya’s adjuster stated their insured is not at fault because their insured stated “someone” ran him off the road. Police report does not state any other vehicle was involved. They are refusing to take responsibility for my claim citing “we are searching for the other driver.” When asked how long this could take, the adjuster said it could take months or even years.

Now it’s up to me to either sue them or fix the fence at my cost. Obviously, they know the other “phantom” driver doesn’t exist and will never be identified. It’s simply a ploy to defer responsibility. It’s a shame companies like Fred Loya Insurance is allowed to sell insurance. Bottom line… I recommend NOT buying your insurance from a scam company like Fred Loya Insurance. Call the other reputable companies that stand behind their word and have much higher ratings. Last year (2018) one of Fred Loya's policyholder’s car hit my parked car and drove off. I have clarify that it was her car but she was in the passenger seat when she hit my car. I do not know who the driver was. Fortunately, I was a few yards down the parking row when I saw them hit my car so I got their license plate, and the state troopers were an aisle over so I filed a report within minutes of the accident. But the policyholder would not admit it was her and that delayed my claim for weeks. Eventually, I was able to take my car to one of their branches where an inexperienced worker took photos of the damages a month after the accident.

From these photos, an adjuster made an estimate of the damages. I took my car to the auto body shop in the town I am from (I was hit in a different city) where the shop made another estimate of the damages with supplements to the original estimate which cost hundreds more than the check Fred Loya sent. From the moment I told the shop owner who my claim was filed with, he said, "Oh, we are in for a fight with these guys (Fred Loya)." On top of this, Fred Loya did not provide me with a rental car from the day I dropped my car off at the shop (Monday). I and the shop owner had to explain that it is illegal to not provide me with a rental car. So on Friday of the same week, I received my rental. Days pass and I hear from the shop owner that all but the labor was approved on the supplements he sent.

The labor rate in town is $54/hour and the Fred Loya appraiser did not want to pay for full labor and claimed, "the state sets the labor rate and that rate is $50/hour," which is untrue. I was never able to contact the appraiser because she would not return our phone calls and/or messages. Her supervisor also would not answer his phone. I had multiple messages sent to my phone saying Fred Loya was going to stop paying for my rental car because of the dispute between them and the shop on labor rates. This is also illegal because the shop had already begun working on my car.

However, if the shop had not begun work and my car was sitting there collecting dust, this is legal. They were now telling me that the shop that we have worked with in the past and are close with the owner was now going to charge me personally for the differences in labor. On the phone, Fred Loya had already told me that their driver was at fault and they were 100% liable for the damages and will be paying 100% for the costs. If the shop's labor rates had been higher than those in the area, it could be a possibility for the owner of the car to have to pay those differences (but not in this case). I spoke with two other shops on their labor rates. One said $56/hour and the other $54/hour. I had other messages telling me I needed to choose another shop to have my car repaired which is also illegal. I had already signed the line saying that shop was going to fix my car and until they are paid in full for their labor, the shop cannot release my car to me.

I was at the mercy of Fred Loya and the shop coming to an agreement on these labor rates. The next idea Fred Loya hatched was to have my car towed 200 miles south of the town we live in to have the car repaired at "a shop [we've] worked with in the past." ("We" meaning Fred Loya.) At this point in time, my car has been in the shop for 2 weeks, has already been worked on, and the work has been partially paid for. All-in-all, these are the most crooked, insensitive, uncooperative, and dishonest people I have ever dealt with. The workers are inexperienced to the point where one does not know what another has said and there are multiple miscommunications hour-by-hour. The representatives do not speak clearly, and they will make mistakes from the very beginning when trying to spell your name. They told so many lies, they started getting tied up in their own traps.

One girl told us she had been calling the wrong phone number with updates on our rental and when prompted to tell us the number she was calling ended up reading us our correct phone number! We tried contacting the appraiser for the claim multiple times and left messages for her, but she refused to talk to us or return our calls. Her supervisor would not speak with us either. My claim bounced around from adjuster-to-adjuster. Each call we had with them lasted over 40 minutes because nobody knew what was going on and we kept getting transferred to someone else! Let this be a warning, you better get your ducks in a row when dealing with these guys and know your rights because they will try to twist your arm and feed you lies from the beginning. I do not know how the hell these guys are still in business. Good luck to all of you who took the time to read this and may be put in a similar situation.

3.-The adjuster (**) was saying that he or she thought that I had an accident and not a stealing case. What a loser. The police gave me a report and I had pics. I guess they just trying to avoid to paid you and because that they said that they will investigate my case. 4.- I supposed to have 10 rental car days of maximum of $30 a day. The investigation took another 3 weeks and this was the worst part. They ask me what was I doing the night before of the incident (like FBI) and they called all people to confirm what I said and I cooperate but they asked for more and more just with something simple as my car was parked in front of my house and they steal the bumper.

5.- They never finished the investigation and my 10 rental car days they cut it to 8 days for no reason and I had to pay 2 weeks more of rental myself. 6.- Ricardo ** which was one the many adjusters that they switch was the worst. This man should go back to school and learn how to talk. He told me that don't bother him and call him. FRED LOYA should fire this guys. They took it to Carparts in Anthony Tx, which is several miles from El Paso. Never say they can "TAKE" your car or you might never see it again. And if you do get ready for a fight and lost time. The people are never there, don't call you back and don't communicate with you or each other. Didn't even offer a rental car but stated I had one only to look again and notice they didn't give me one. I had to pay for a rental and they'll probably fight me on that as well. So frustrating. Even lost sleep over it.

After three weeks finally get the car back and they paid the loan company with which the car was under collateral, only after they state the car was totaled. The tow truck dropped off the car today only to find everything was taken out of the car without my permission. If they were assessing the car then why even open it, especially when they didn't have the keys. And they messed up the door even more than the original hit trying to open it. Both companies are liars and cutthroats. The Carparts females were condescending and tried to talk over you blaming the tow truck driver for the missing items as well as the bent license plate where they tried to pull it off without a screwdriver. This is by far the worst customer service!!! Good luck dealing with both these messed up companies.

This is the worst insurance anyone can ever have! The bar is so low that I would rate them in hell. I have been having problems with them since I became a customer to them. First they want you to pay them TWICE a month which is stupid and if you don’t they take away your “privileges.” I signed up for a 6 month policy and because I didn’t pay them twice a month but still paid them by the due date they changed my policy WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. So instead of 6 month I’m on month to month which I have NEVER HEARD OF. So to make things easier I ask could I moved my due date and they told me I’m not allowed to because of my month to month policy that they changed without my knowledge.

On December 2nd, I asked an employee will it be ok if I paid them on December 7th and he told me it was completely fine and the only thing I had to do was bring my car to the nearest office. So I do that and paid them without any problems until they told me to sign something and come to find out they CANCELED my insurance. Their reasoning is that they don’t offer a grace period. This wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t try to take money out of my account twice a month. I’m so sick of these people and they raggedy business, it’s ridiculous how they operate! I already have plans to report them to the BBB in Dallas and the Texas Insurance Commissioner. All they're known for is getting over on people. HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS???

To top it off, they had me under "no license" when in fact I do have a license, so they were charging me all these 2 years even more money than I was suppose to pay because of it!

I called to get my money refunded back & I had to do all these calls & going into Fred Loya stores when it's their responsibility to do so for me! I got $160 taken out my bank & so I called to get that refunded & yesterday I received my check & only $91 was sent back! What the actual **!? I'm mindblown on how ridiculous this is! I have had nothing but problems from the start of the claim from this company. I was hit by someone that had this insurance. I've had to fight for every little thing for this claim. From the start I had to fight for a rental that would allow for my carrying kids and shipping things for work. They would only approve aftermarket parts on a 3 year old car, would not do an alignment even though I just had new tires put on and had one done and it is off. After the parts arrived at the body shop they only approved the labor for 3 days starting the exact day the parts arrived.

So after those 3 days they would not pay for my loaner car. They also blamed me for having the wrong information on the check that they sent when I specifically asked if only my name would be on the check and they said yes. So I now have to wait 2 days for the checks to be voided and resent so my car will be released from the body shop causing me to have to pay for the rental for 2 days. Nothing but stress and disappointment. I would give no stars if that was an option.

They eventually accepted fault, but only gave me $40/day for a rental after the accident took my 2014 Toyota Tundra 4x4 completely out of service for 3 weeks and they will only cover 2 days of rental! Updated on 12/07/2018: This is a follow-up review from a car accident dated on July 23rd. This was an accident which I was not a fault, I was insured through FRED LOYA and till this day, they just left me hanging. Never did they help my car get fixed nor recover anything from the at-fault insurance parties company. To top it off my policy ended this November 2018 and they still had the nerve to ask me if I'd like to renew my policy! What a sad joke of a rip off company. The policy I had clearly stated that they covered up to $200 dollars for tow truck reimbursement, and they only sent me a check for $100.

Also a supervisor adjuster promised to keep me updated and all they did was state that this claim was under arbitration and they promised to call me back... Never has happened. They were always quick to call whenever the payment was due a few days prior. Most of their staff they hire is unqualified young untrained employees whom don't seem to know nothing about car insurance. I filed a complaint with the insurance bureau of Los Angeles California and FRED LOYA was quick to write a report with lies to cover up any bad doings. TO anyone considering this insurance company stay away and don't waste your money nor your time. All these bad reviews should tell consumers something. STAY AWAY!!!

Original review: I am currently insured with this company and on July 23 I was involved in a accident which I was not at fault at. Today is Sept 28 and still till this day they have not done anything firm to get the other insurance company to fix my car. Almost 2 months that my car has been sitting wrecked and collecting fees. The day of the accident, they refused to provide me a tow-truck which my policy states that they cover also a place to store my vehicle, which they policy also states that they cover. Throughout this whole nightmare, I have had to do most of the work for my insurance adjuster, contacting the other parties insurance, finding information and when I have called my Fred Loya adjuster at times my calls are ignored, passed on to other people or usually I am given the runaround. At times, you can even hear people laughing over the phone at their customers when you try to ask serious questions.

My adjuster even advised me to go out on my own and try to go through small claims court to recover any damages. I feel that if I am paying for my insurance they should be helping me out as much as they can . Especially on a car accident for which I am not a fault at?? FRED LOYA INSURANCE leaves me wondering how they continue to pop up left and right at most shopping center which such bad customer service. They are quick to call you when your payment is almost due, but when you really need them... they don't seem to really care. Overall this has been a nightmare. Never, NEVER, NEVER have I dealt with an insurance company that has lagged this long. I would not recommend them at all!!!

Most auto insurance companies take only a few days to get you a LOE (letter of experience) which is what some insurance companies want from your previous insurance company to show you have not had any lapse in your coverage.

Loya's policy is 30 days to send that out which can affect getting coverage from another company and cause you to pay a higher rate. Loya insurance company charges you a fee when you add or remove a vehicle from your policy. If you find a company with better rates for more coverage, Loya insurance company will then charge you a $50.00 cancellation fee. I have never been with a company that charges you a fee to cancel. But, I was stopped 6 feet behind her for at least 30 seconds as we were both exiting a driveway onto a residential street. I requested it to be re-opened to no avail. They did however offer me possibility of filing claim on my insurance. Stated my insurance would not increase. I declined. They also failed to give the other insurance my statement. I had to do all the work. Contacted other insurance and provided all info requested. The other insurance took care of me.

This incident was a major red flag as to how they handle their business so I changed insurance carrier. I went into the office to cancel showed them my new dec page. They cancelled two days after the date of the new insurance. I caught the error at the office, but the rep could not fix it at the time, but stated it would be processed correctly. A week later I received a letter of cancellation with wrong cancellation date. I went back to the office, explained the whole situation and the rep said he could not back date. He stated that because a week had gone by they couldn't do anything??? Give me a break.

I explained that I needed that cancellation date backdated, that I had proof of my new dec page, but he insisted he could not do anything. He even contacted his manager via phone. I explained to him that by them not changing the cancellation date my premium refund would be pro-rated less those two days. After all this all he offered to do was give me a 1-800 number as he was unable to further assist me. I do not recommend Fred Loya to anyone based on my experience. Service quality declined further after her first question which was, "Are you self employed?", to which I answered, "I own 3 online businesses and keep a full time job at **". True question should have been, "Do you use your vehicle for your businesses or to travel to your job on a daily basis?" In order to assess my use for the newly acquired vehicle. She kept on repeating that she would charge more and modify my account so no other location or agent could sell me their policy which was quoted the day before.

Apart from being rude since the moment I sat down at her desk, she did nothing to correct her behavior or apologize when I politely asked her to reconsider her modifying my original quote. I am an Architect/Designer that works from my laptop at home and I keep a full time job 44 hrs/week as an Interiorist. Ms ** modified my quote to charge me 60% more than the quoted price because she decided to take my professional services instead of my full time job. Thus increasing my quote under the argument that I use the vehicle for self employment which was her assumption (my professional services do not include any in which I travel to you, as all the services are paid and provided online from afar.) Fred Loya Insurance might be a good company however with employees like Ms. ** nothing extraordinary in terms of service can be expected if this is the way their employees treat paying customers.

I was told that the other vehicle issues has nothing to do with Fred Loya paying me out for my car since it’s already a loss and they have my car and never even told my finance company they had my car so my finance company said they will be calling them Monday morning to get the car or the payment since Fred Loya deemed it a loss. Previously I was a customer at Fred Loya. I had 3 claims that's still unresolved. They promised in the contract. They never came through, after sharing my information from my privacy rights on down to sharing my bank account information. They lied and betrayed my confidentiality. They withdrawn money without authorization, after not following through with the promise stated on the contract. I feel like if you got to lie and scam people for your gain for business, and don't follow through. Someone needs to file a complaint, and I am one of them to help get the job done.

Customers struggle enough to pay their own bills, and provide for the families, so why would a large cooperation like this company keep ripping people off. Also getting by and no one is dealing with Fred Loya. Example, Claim #1 I had to pay out of my pocket when I had a accident locking my keys in the car in another city. I called roadside assistance, Fred Loya said they couldn't help me. So I had to pay out of my pocket. They accidentally broke the handle off the right side of the passenger side of the door. Locksmith, I never gotten my refund back.

Claim # 2 I was involved in another accident where I back into a truck when a long wagon suddenly came in behind me. Fred Loya contract stated that I can get a rental car if I take my car in to get it fix. After taking my car in to get serviced, The manager ask me, "Who do you have insurance with?" I stated, "With Fred Loya." We called the insurance company up, ready to get my car serviced. The manager at the body shop says, "We don't deal with that insurance company. Because their credibility is not good with us." The manager further proceeded. “Ms. come look over here on our wall.” They showed me 5 different insurance companies. Yes you are right Fred Loya was on the wall.

No I am not trying to speak against this company. I am not getting paid for writing this review. But I am very disappointed and hurt, because I could have gotten hurt in another city by not being able to get into my car trusting Fred Loya when I found myself in danger by not having protection when I needed it the most. I had to pay out of my pocket for each accident, as I stated Fred Loya simply lied and betrayed my trust. My injuries I incurred seems not to matter to them like pain and suffering in another city wondering how to get my keys unlocked out of the car. I will never trust Fred Loya again.

I was involved in an accident. The person that hit me was an insured of Fred Loya, on 12/28/2017, today 01/30/2018 still no car and my parents had to come out of pocket for a rental since FL does not supply rentals even if their insured is at fault. The adjuster is NEVER available (David **) his supervisor (Vienay **) is never available and neither is her supervisor (Mauricio **). Then they tell me if I’m not using one of their preferred body shops I would be responsible for getting my car towed to have it fixed plus 40% of the cost of the tow yard (mind you my car had been there over a month) so now I’m out of $939 for the rental and looking at another $400 just to get my car to a place to have it fixed and I was then informed that they would only claim 60% at fault, it was 3 cars involved.

Well the car that struck me while at a red light was struck by their insured because she pulled into a busy street from a private drive without yielding, just pulled out like she was being chased or something. They refused to take responsibility even though the police ticketed their insured for no DL and failure to yield from a private drive, the customer service was beyond horrible, they do not take pride in their job nor the company! I would never get this insurance if it was FREE!! Please please whatever you do save yourself and get real insurance, this entire ordeal has been nothing short of incompetent people that need a paycheck, I wish I could rate no stars.

My insurance has reviewed the information and declared me not at fault when the LOYA insured hit my car. LOYA insurance is refusing to pay my claim stating that I was at fault despite the fact I had 2 witnesses testify that I was not at fault. My witnesses voluntarily stayed at the scene to talk to the police to declare the LOYA insured driver at fault. I will file a complaint with the Colorado Insurance Commission.

My brother received repairs on his leased Toyota car after an accident. Fred Loya Insurance sent the payment to the shop with his name, my mother's name (lease co-signer), and Toyota Financial Services. The shop wouldn't take the check without all 3 signatures. Toyota Financial Services at the dealer would not sign the check. Fred Loya Insurance, both physical location and over the phone, refused to help or reissue the check without Toyota providing a written statement and Toyota said they've never had to do such thing. Fred Loya Insurance informed my brother there was nothing they could do to help. We are on the 6th week of attempting to resolve this issue, still in process. Because of Fred Loya Insurance's incompetence and challenging procedures my brother does not have a vehicle and cannot go to school. His on-campus college semester begins tomorrow. :(

My daughter's car was hit in a parking lot by one of Fred Loya's customers. She had two witnesses who went to campus security with their eyewitness account of the guy hitting my car and then driving away. They both had descriptions of the driver and one of them had the license plate #. The guy was later arrested for hit and run and a police report filled out. His truck had white paint on the bumper that matched my daughters car. And there is CCTV video of him entering the parking lot and then a few minutes later leaving in a hurry. Fred Loya says that they believe their customer was not involved (Really!?!) and they are refusing to pay. The case has now gone to arbitration between my insurance company and them. Basically, Fred Loya is a scam and is not offering coverage, only a piece of paper saying that you paid for coverage.

I am amazed that this company is still in business, especially after seeing all the negative reviews online. There has got to be a way to lobby to get this company taken out of business. If a drug company were providing its customers with sub-standard drugs, they would be penalized, yet this company continues to exist? Recently one of their clients slammed into, and totaled my brother's car, and severely damaged my car. The police made a report that it was the client's fault since both cars were parked in the driveway when their client hit them. They dragged their feet with (a) writing off and issuing the check for my brother's vehicle, and (2) my car sat in the shop for almost 21 days while their "adjusters" kept going to the body shop and providing low-ball estimates. The dealer was not able to repair the car using their estimates.

I finally called my own insurance company and the repairs finally started - well over days from the accident. Problem is going to be recovery of my funds which I have paid for the rental. The rental would not have exceeded the "allowed" limit if they had written the correct estimate the first or second time, and done what they needed to do! Is there anyone who had a negative experience with this company, and would like to start a forum to get them shut down by the authorities, please let me know.

When I called, I was informed that I was not entitled to a refund because they were taking out more fees than what I had been told would be taken out, which was the $50 cancellation fee. What I did not know at the time was that my estranged wife had removed my car from our insurance so I first received a physical threat from the other driver then more recently an abusive phone call which threat from someone claiming to be a lawyer representing Loya Insurance stating that if I did not pay them money for the accident they would have my licence suspended which is extortion. This company is bad news. They refused to supply me with estimates for the damage to their clients car and are not interested in any facts about the accident. They do not do any sort of proper claims procedure, where you take your car in to get it looked at by a trained professional mechanic or they come to you. They takes the word of the insured in spite of their record of hitting other cars, photographs of damages and other forensic evidence.

I had an accident a couple of months ago and the other driver was at fault and was a Loya customer. I am NOT a Loya customer. Because I only carried liability on my car, my insurance company was less than helpful. I called Loya and filed a claim against their customer and was immediately taken care of. An adjuster was assigned to the case, my car was inspected at the tow yard and an offer was made on the car, that was listed as totaled. Because it was a 17-year-old Isuzu Rodeo with over 260,000 miles on it, I wasn't expecting a whole lot of money. I figured that anything over $1000 was going to be gravy.

Their offer was for considerably more than that, so I was pleased. Not pleased that I lost my Rodeo, but that I was able to get more than I expected. I was able to use that money towards a nice Toyota RAV4. Through the whole process I was treated with respect, I was kept in the loop and once the paperwork was filled out and sent back, I had a check within a couple of days. Today I contacted them because I have traded in my vehicle. I had a 2014 Nissan Versa and currently have a 2015 Elantra. I traded in the Nissan for a 2017 Dodge journey. So I went into the Fontana Cardenas branch here in California. I asked to have the Nissan removed and add the new vehicle. First of all they just withdrew 261 from my account Saturday. So the girl there makes me sign a paper stating my agreement to remove the Nissan, yet they mentioned that I would be 20 for adding a vehicle plus the difference. OK so the contract states the charge, so I didn't argue that then she tells me that I have to pay 97 aside from the 261. She said my total each month was estimated to 311.

So I asked if we minus the 52 that has increased in my policy plus the 20 for the change what is the 25 remaining charge for? She didn't know and advised me to call corporate. So then I call the Corona branch where I first started my policy (Magnolia). Here I was provided an exact quote which was 305 but in order to start I had to pay 160 today. Once again I asked what are the charges for? 20 change in policy fee and 44 for the difference. Total of 64 yet once again I couldn't get an answer to extra 96 dollars being charged so I was informed to contact corporate.

When I called 2 representatives couldn't give me an answer so then I spoke to the manager and he said it was a deposit fee. I've been informed that Fred Loya doesn't charge deposit fees especially if I'm just changing vehicles. He said that the initial payment doesn't require one but after that for any add one they charge deposit. Then he said that every month they charge 12 dollar fee for installment. He David ** stated "it was for all the letters mailed to you like bills and policy card," by the way it's not a card it's a piece of paper. Now once again David the c/s manager could not explain charges. He said he would call tomorrow for an answer. So if I canceled today I would expect to be refunded the difference. Out of 261 they should deduct two days of service plus 50 for cancellation fee. Plus a reimbursement for 15 days a total of 130.50 paid the first month.

When I started the policy they charged a month ahead and 15 days later they charged the full amount again (the second payment) they said it was because my first payment, half of it covers 15 days and the other half covers 15 more days after missing a pay if in case I don't pay the last month. The answer I got from David was that he did not know. They are really stealing from people they should be investigated.

I asked if they were going to send someone out for pictures she stated "we don't do that." I called on a Thursday and was promised a call back. No one called. I called back Friday. I was told that my adjuster was changed. Now it's the weekend. I am car less, and keep staring at this part to another vehicle lodged into the front of my car. I wish I would've known about their poor service and concern before now. And yet they want to recruit workers. Never will I work for a company like this!!! Awful but I must admit the locals here in Birmingham are nice. Get a real insurance company. Might be more money but it's worth it!!!

I have family who are current employees with this company, even they advise to not purchase insurance with this company. They are aware of the many frauds this company do to working people. When I was with them I did submitted two claims with this fraudulent insurance company. Both claims we towards my uninsured motorist coverage, which I was supposed to be insured. First claim they came up stating I didn't report to the police so they couldn't do anything. The second claim they stated I had comprehensive and collision so they couldn't help me because it was less than my deductible. Which is unlawful because there is no deductible for uninsured in the state of Colorado. Besides this the treatment they give paying customers is just trash. There is no such thing as customer service whatsoever. I don't recommend this insurance to anyone. It's the worst I've had.

My husband goes through Fred Loya insurance company and they raised my husband's insurance because he's 1 day late. Every time we went from $33.00 to $67.00. How is that possible? I wished they would do payment same time each month but they don't. They are unreliable and unworthy of their position. It's BS what they put people through. They are a rip off company. We're finding someone new.

On October 29th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., three employees were there. One could help. She was taking a while. I don't know why the others couldn't help. I just needed to make a payment. It was in El Paso, Texas. I was waiting about ten minutes. 9417 Alameda Ave. 79907.
