    Home safe and sound with no need to use insurance but it made my trip much more relaxed. You just never know what could happen. Years ago I had was sick and had no insurance while traveling. I learned my lesson. The price was the fairest that I found as a senior.

    My late-summer 2025 travel plans became inordinately complex - super stressful for my family and me. But, thank goodness, we signed up for travel insurance with Faye. I can barely express in words how consistently helpful, cheerful, accessible and clear Faye's process and people have been. Every, single representative I spoke with (shout outs to Tongwa and Candice and Alexis in particular -- I know there were other stars) was not only clarifying and helpful, but supportive and kind, as well.

    Beyond this, as a busy schoolteacher and parent, I found it extremely challenging to follow up in a timely way on some elements of my claim. The time-flexibility that is inherent in Faye's approach to working with customers was profoundly reassuring.     I used Faye when I was going to Peru and Mexico City - I got altitude, sickness and salmonella in Peru. Now to have a doctor come to my hotel - the cost was $777 - when I got home I got on the app, filed everything incredibly easily on my phone. The communication was great from Faye when they needed a couple extra things. It was very easy to send them. They would send me a message that they received my documents and if they needed anything else, they would let me know and when they did need a couple other things they were easy to get and easy to send. I have been home less than three weeks and yesterday received a 100% reimbursement.. I will absolutely use Faye going forward for international trips!! The interfacing is so simple- the communication is very clear- and I could not be happier with the outcome (obvi).

    I am so thankful that I purchased Faye Travel Insurance before my trip to Scotland. I was pleased with the cost and the ease of purchase, but was thrilled with the service I received when there was a glitch in my plans. Our overnight flight to Scotland was canceled and rebooked for the following day. Because of the flight delay, we missed one entire day and night of our tour. When I returned home, I notified Faye immediately. The representative told me exactly what type of paperwork I needed to submit which I did. Within a few days, I was notified that I would be reimbursed for flight delay and for missing a portion of my tour. Candice, the representative that I worked with was very kind and very helpful.     Flight going to Athens was without problems and pretty smooth even with the long wait between flights. Cruise itself was great, as were the port visits. Wish I could say the same for the flight returning to Dulles International Airport. Took off late from Athens and got to Istanbul only to find out that our flight back to the US, which was suppose to be after a 3 hour layover, was delayed for quite sometime. Finally got in the air about 6 hours after landing. Flight itself was very good with some "normal" turbulence but finally landed at Dulles.

    We have purchased Faye Travel Insurance several times but did not have to use it until recently. My husband suffered an emergency causing us to have to leave our tour and return to the U.S. for surgery. We filed a claim with Faye and found the submission experience to be very easy. Every Faye employee we talked with was knowledgeable and helpful. We disagreed with a couple of items on the initial claim summary but when we resubmitted this with supportive documentation, the claim summary was altered and the full amount reimbursed. We had a satisfactory experience with Faye and will use them again in the future.

    I cannot say enough good things about Faye Travel Insurance. My husband and I went to Croatia for our 30-year wedding anniversary. We typically don't buy travel insurance, but thought we'd better given it being an international trip. On our flight home, we were delayed due to high winds (instead of arriving home on a Thursday evening, we did not get home until Friday afternoon). The airline we booked through provided no assistance after telling us they would reimburse us for our unplanned hotel stay, dinner, etc.. Enter Faye! They were so incredibly helpful.     A friend recommended Faye Insurance for our three week European trip. She had had a wonderful experience with the company. I was tempted to skip getting insurance, but I’m so glad I didn’t! A flight delay caused us to miss a prepaid shuttle (by six minutes) and caused lots of headaches. The shuttle company would not reimburse our money, but Faye did, no problem.     I highly recommend Faye insurance when traveling overseas. The application was easy to fill out as well as making the payment online. Unfortunately, on my fifth day of vacation I had a very bad fall and had to go to the hospital. They took X-rays of my knee, had an IV to take the inflammation and some of the pain. My knee was so bad I couldn’t put my foot down to walk. The emergency room doctor prescribed several medications and a brace. As soon as I got back to the US, I fill out the paperwork that it was required and with in a week I received 100% reimbursement for all the expenses. Faye’s costumer service was fantastic.     Luckily we did not need the insurance for any mishap which is good. My only complaint was that the eSIM did not work well when abroad. I was not able to connect to something as simple as Google, I got locked out of my email (but as soon as I got back to the states my access was perfectly fine). I ended up paying $80 extra to sign up for the Verizon Travel Plan on top of the eSIM so that I could have access to text, data, etc.

    We have purchased trip insurance several times over the past ten years. I read the online reviews to help me decide which company I’m going to use. Many times people give a five-star rating but haven’t needed to file a claim. Fortunately, I haven’t ever needed to file a claim in the past either so really don’t know how the other companies compare to Faye. This trip we had a couple of issues with canceled transportation in Europe. I filed two claims with Faye, and both claims were processed and paid within a week.     Up to now, I have not received my check from Faye, it has been 2 months. My claim was approved but I was not paid. I asked to talk to the manager and not once did the manager call me. They say in 48 hrs., the manager will call me and no one did. They just keep on saying in 48 hrs., in 10 business days you will get the check. The check never arrived, the manager never called me. Up to now, I am waiting for a phone call from the manager, for my check to arrive? I hope Faye gets this message and address my concerns.

    I used Faye for the first time when traveling to Japan. It's a super great app that keeps your flight info up to date and what gates you need just as though you were in your flight app. It also provides weather daily for where you are traveling and a currency calculator.     BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased Faye Travel insurance for my trip. On my trip I suffered a medical emergency with my heart, also a Hurricane came. Damaged the villa I was staying in and rendered the place uninhabitable I had to be evacuated. I filed a claim and for 10 months they keep asking for the same documents over and over I submitted all my documents, medical reports, receipts, photos. Eventually after 10 months they denied my claim. So now it in the hands of my attorney as these companies must be held responsible for their (bad faith) insurance practices.

    This company Faye Travel Insurance is a joke, a SCAM. I bought insurance for a trip to Bolivia, because my friends wanted everyone to be covered. After, I bought, it doesn't say in anywhere, that you'll be covered only after 48 hours, because they take your money, next day, I got into a MTB accident, I had surgery, called Faye, the open a case, they never said, you're not cover, because it has been less than 48 hours, they got all my documents from the hospital, they never said anything about you don't have insurance. Then, they declined it, because it was less than 48 hours after I bought the insurance, still, they don't want to give me my money back at least, Don't waste your time and money, they'll find a way not to pay you, if you have a claim. I'll give them 0 starts, if it's possible.

    Bad customer service overall. Doesn’t do much. Purchased this travel insurance thinking it would provide peace of mind, but it turned out to be a complete waste. I fell ill during my trip and needed medical assistance. Even though I submitted all the required documents and followed their claims process exactly, they denied my claim, citing a “pre-existing condition” that was never diagnosed or treated before the trip. Their definition of pre-existing is ridiculously broad and designed to exclude everything.

    Customer service was another nightmare. It took weeks to get a response, and every time I called, I got vague answers or was told my case was being “escalated”—nothing ever came of it. I also tried to cancel a hotel due to a family emergency and thought trip interruption coverage would help. Nope. Denied again for some technicality in the fine print. The marketing makes it sound like you’re covered for everything, but once you really need help, they will find any excuse not to pay. I would have been better off saving the premium and paying out of pocket. Do yourself a favor and read the policy line-by-line—or better yet, choose another company.

    We originally bought Faye travel insurance because it was the best price for the most coverage; by a fair amount. Their rental car insurance was much less expensive and expansive than other travel insurance companies. What gets it a five star rating though is the service. Our return flight was canceled by United (which gets one-star for repeated incompetence) and Faye contacted us to let us know that the cancellation was covered under our policy. An insurance company that contacts its customers to tell them to file a claim - how much better could they get than that? Well they did, with clean, fast, and well organized communication.     My wife and I planned to take a Rhine Cruise in May. We were arriving 4 days early to spend some time in Copenhagen and extending the trip by 4 days at the end to spend some additional time in Switzerland. We were unable to take the trip due to illness. We purchased travel insurance thru Faye Travel. Faye refunded all of the expenses that were not refunded by the cruise line.     Faye was very clear about what they covered. Customer service answered my questions quickly so I could select the exact coverage I was looking for. Lots of communication leading up to the trip and during it. Unfortunately, our return flight from overseas was canceled and we had to rent a car to go to another airport and buy same day tickets which were very expensive. Filing a claim was straightforward and their customer service was very responsive. In the end, they ended up paying for the car rental and the differential in airline tickets, plus a trip interruption fee. Funds were direct deposited into our checking account.

    First time buying trip insurance and had heard lots of horror stories how travel insurance companies don't pay. Very glad I did buy the insurance and it turns out we used the coverage. Besides trouble during the trip, my in-laws are in very poor health so we bought the insurance so we could get home quickly if needed. Also, we are retirement age with some health issues so we wanted the coverage to get us home if one of us got sick or injured. Medical flights from overseas can be over $100,000. I cannot recommend Faye Travel Insurance more highly. Will definitely use them again for overseas travel and have been recommending them to friends.

    We purchased a full Faye travel protection plan including CFAR in January 2024. Our trip took place in September and October 2024. We suffered a COVID illness during our trip causing us to miss six days and six nights of a bucket list tour. Transportation, some meals, all tours and sightseeing during this period, as well as prepaid additional excursions have all been denied by Faye. Additional medical expenses have also been denied. When I initially called the Faye emergency line indicating our test results, we were advised to take care of ourselves and do whatever we needed to do with regards to hotel, food, medical, transportation including air, in order to rejoin our tour. We were advised to keep all of our receipts and not to worry, Faye would open our claim and we could submit our paperwork sometime after our return home. We submitted everything.

    I can’t even count the number of requests I have made to Faye first for status and then for appeal of the decision. So so many communications went un answered and unacknowledged, even after promising someone would contact me. If you are told, That’s not the Faye way of handling things, watch out. Supposedly, an appeal is in process. Now, SEVEN MONTHS LATER, I am being asked for a letter from the tour supplier listing detailed information. All paperwork was supplied when originally requested. Still waiting… My experience with Faye and from what I hear from others, is to avoid doing business with this company.

    My luggage was lost on the way back from a recent trip, and Faye will NOT COVER the expenses of a few items I needed immediately. Yet, their automated response noted that luggage had to be lost for 12 hours. Mine was lost for 3 days. I filed a claim for some electronics I needed for my computer, including a charger for both the computer and phone. After 12 days of filing a claim, they noted that they do not cover luggage on the return trip, as the trip has already ended.

    I find it troubling that computerized messages can be sent through their app, noting your policy coverage for a claim, as explained above, the 12 hours, only to discover that they refuse to cover lost baggage on a return trip. I paid $727 for the policy, and I am very disappointed. I sent them the document, noting that the luggage was returned 3 days later and a small invoice for electronics I needed immediately, which they have declined to pay as it was due upon return.

    I found the journey comfortable, the guides knowledgeable and helpful, equipment very good and the captain and first mate thoughtful and courteous. The only complaint is moving from one boat across another when leaving and returning to the Mothership poses some danger, especially to those of us in our 80s, that still have yearning for adventure.

    Most of the crews were thoughtful and helpful. A few were too casual about our movement and appeared to be unconcerned. On the last day, just as I was stepping off one boat onto the mothership, an occupant of the boat moved just as I stepped off. This made for me to misstep and could have led to a serious injury. I was lucky to escape with a bruised knee. Also, while the cooking was great, the coffee was very strong.

    They say you can purchase coverage at any time but if you don't purchase the insurance within 14 days of booking the trip then don't bother because you'll be ineligible, but they won't tell you that until you file a claim. My experience was we booked a trip with payments and waited 2 months before the trip to purchase insurance as did many in our group. We were unable to travel d/t unexpected medical reasons and when we filed the claim were told we were not eligible because we didn't purchase within 14 days of booking the trip. That was after going back and forth for over a month, providing medical records, etc while they gave different excuses as to why we weren't covered and then said we were not eligible because it was purchased outside of the 14-day window.

    In this crazy world we all live in today. You have to prepare yourself sometimes for the unexpected. This is why we purchased your insurance.     Very disappointing. We were unable to return home. A big fire, evacuations ordered, and access to house was denied by law enforcement. We had to rent a car and a hotel for 2 extra nights till evacuation order lifted. We also had to help out dog sitter since they evacuated our dogs and kept them at their home till we flew in. When I contacted Faye while on the trip about the situation, they said (over the phone) this fell under trip interruption and advised to finish trip. Once I submitted the paperwork for hotel and car only 2 nights...(I did not claim food expenses, as I didn't feel I should.) Claim was denied for payment. Claim was quite small, I think under $650. Denied anyway! I had $4500. of coverage and state's destination is uninhabitable.

    We signed up with Faye for our EU (Germany Spain and France) 0m March 14, 25; our trip was fine until Iberia Airlines misplaced our luggages for the trip between Spain and Paris France on April 06, 25. We contacted Paris airport officer immediately. They directed me to PIR department and we supplied them with the bags info and get a PIR receipts. Here we are in Paris w/o luggages and we had to purchase some clothing and daily necessity and they are not cheap, we spend over 500euros for both our necessities.

    We file a claim with Faye and their app asking PIR, receipt, airlines tickets and police reports. We supplied all their requirement except police reports, the item is not stolen but misplaced by airline and there is no way to file report at France airport against airlines. Anyway today is 4/13/25, there is zero email contact nor helps from Faye at all, we are extremely disappointed with this horrible insurance company taking your money fast and zero customer service on claims and my recommendation to travelers "Stay Away".

    Pretty Awful experience. Spent almost $400 on 6 day trip policy. April 2 our flight was canceled rebooking was not possible. 5 hotels charges, rent car, entrance fees etc NOTHING WAS COVERED BY FAYE! Claim was declined. This was our first time buying this trip insurance. How would you feel not being able to go on trip with zero fault of ours and didn’t get support or coverage by travel insurance. Frustrating? To say the least, they just decline our coverage Friday evening making sure their claim department is closed for weekend. I just want the rest of you to know this company is NOT standing behind traveler. They just brush you off when you need them.

    Faye Travel Insurance was on Forbes top pick. I called to get help, and they only allow quotes over the internet so that's a huge RED FLAG. I just seen a review where another company Insuremytrip denied claim because the customer ordered online. Point Blank we have questions the internet can't answer. So it's a no for me. It's how they make their money denying claims. Not knowing their defaults is a no, no, no. Go with a company that you can ask and get clear concise answers, so you know! So if you have a claim well sounds like it would be a complete runaround.

    A Rollercoaster Experience with Faye Insurance – From 1 Star to 5 Stars! I’ll be honest—at first, I was beyond frustrated with my experience with Faye Insurance. The claims process felt overwhelming, requiring copious amounts of paperwork, receipts, and, at times, detailed narratives explaining my expenses. In the midst of an already stressful situation, it felt like an additional burden, and I was convinced this was going to be another one of those insurance companies that finds every loophole possible to deny a claim.

    However, patience paid off—both theirs and mine. As I navigated my travel debacle during the summer of 2024, I had back-to-back crises while traveling from Nepal to India. In Nepal, I suffered a severe upper respiratory infection that progressed into altitude sickness, requiring an emergency helicopter evacuation to Kathmandu. As if that weren’t enough, I finally arrived in India to continue my 500-hour yoga certification, only to receive the devastating news that my father had passed away.

    Throughout it all, Faye Insurance came through. While the process was meticulous and required me to document everything (and I mean everything—photos, receipts, medical records, you name it), they ultimately took care of me. They honored my claims and helped make the financial impact of my losses survivable. The most important takeaway? When filing a claim, document, document, photograph, and document again. If you’re thorough, Faye will do what they promise—stand by you when you need them most.

    What a great company! We travel quite often but this was the first time we used Faye. First of all their website is very user friendly and allows one to store important information regarding your trip such as travel plans and hotel reservations. They even send you reminders. Secondly I did unfortunately run into some acute health problems during the trip. They were super helpful in helping and allowing me to find the medical assistance I needed, They checked up on me several times to make sure that everything went smoothly. Upon my return I submitted my bills and I was promptly reimbursed. I will always use this company in the future.

    Absolutely worthless insurance. We followed the process to the letter planning our bucket list trip to Africa. We had to cancel due to medical issues, and we were supposed to be covered for a pre-exisiting medical exclusion waiver, purchased within the time frame required. We were looking around to find the perfect trip and went ahead before booking the actual trip just to hold some airline flights. When we did book our actual safari trip we purchased Faye within the required timeline. When we had to cancel they refused to pay our claim stating that we booked our air prior to booking the actual safari trip and so were ineligible. They refused all claims even after we went back and fully explained the situation. They still refused. We are now out our full trip deposit for safari because of them. Wish we had read up more about them before we purchased their worthless policy.

    I purchased travel insurance from Faye Travel Protection expecting peace of mind for unforeseen travel disruptions—but instead, I’ve been left with frustration and disappointment. My flight was canceled due to a mechanical failure, an unforeseen and uncontrollable event that caused significant financial and logistical consequences. Despite this being exactly the type of situation travel insurance is supposed to cover, Faye denied my claim under their Trip Interruption benefit, providing no valid explanation rooted in their policy. Why I’m Frustrated:

    1. Nowhere in the policy does it explicitly exclude mechanical issues.
    2. Their vague and misleading interpretation of the policy undermines the purpose of purchasing travel insurance.

    3. The small reimbursement offered under other benefits doesn’t come close to covering the actual impact of the disruption.

    To make matters worse, I’ve been left waiting for weeks without a clear resolution, despite escalating my concerns and asking for a response from senior management. Travel insurance is supposed to protect customers during unexpected disruptions, but Faye Travel Protection has failed to deliver. I would NOT recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and transparent coverage. Faye Travel Protection, I urge you to do better. Your customers deserve clarity, fairness, and accountability.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We purchased Faye Travel Insurance for our trip to Bangkok. Two weeks prior to leaving, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer after having a mammogram done a few weeks before that and subsequently a biopsy done. After analyzing the biopsy, the drs. made it very clear that she needed to have a Lumpectomy done immediately. We had to cancel our trip.

    Faye has refused to pay any of our cancellation fees saying that the cancer started over six months prior to cancelling the trip. I'm sure the cancer may have begun six months or more before our trip; however, she was not aware of it until two weeks before we were to leave. We actually were planning to leave on a Sunday, but the drs called us and told us not to go on the Friday before, after getting the results back from the biopsy. Do not use this company! They are not legitimate. In addition to denying our claim, they took 2 months to make a decision. The amount of the claim was $ 650 dollars.

    We had to find a alternative flight out of Japan on August 15th, all flights were canceled out of Tokyo due to a hurricane. The only alternative offered a later flight beyond the 19th, and I had to be at work on the 19th which is a Monday. We managed to fly out on the 16th with an alternative airline at a higher expense. We are yet to have the claim finalized as the adjuster is hung up on refund credit for the return. The ticket clearly states it's not refundable or cancellable.

    This has been going for the last 3 weeks with the adjuster asking whether we intend to pursue the claim. We travel quite frequently and use Allianz never had such an issue. Faye costs maybe lower but their claim experience is runabouts and not sure how much experience their adjusters are in settling claims. In the future it's advisable to use a far bigger outfit as Allianz or AIA for travel insurance.
