    AHS is on top of things and gets things taken care of. We've had the coverage for a year and their process is pretty smooth. Everything works great and there's a ton of communication. Anytime I've needed to get a hold of them, I've been able to. We had a stovetop that wasn't working anymore and a fridge that was leaking water. Central Kansas Appliance Repair came and they were able to fix the leak with the fridge. They're trying to order parts for the stove but they didn't think they would be able to get them as I have an old stove. The tech was super knowledgeable.

    The furnace needs to be repaired and it's going to be $2,200 and American Home Shield is only paying $600 for the part. They won't pay for the installation or the permits or any of the things to get it installed. I'm not super happy about it. When something goes out, they don't cover the whole cost to have it replaced. They only cover a portion because it has to have modifications and updates to current code and all that kind of stuff. Personally, if you have a home warranty, they should cover it. But then the technician was very professional. He came out once when our AC went out. I would recommend him. American Home Shield has been pretty good in general.

    I had a pipe leak. The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to do the leak in my tub. But we haven't received a call yet to check the leak up in the ceiling. The tech said a specialist would have to come in. AHS has also had a contractor do my stovetop and I was satisfied with the work they did.

    The furnace was blowing cold air and the flames wouldn't stay on. It was igniting but it would go right off. The tech was a good man and I liked him. He was fun. My only hiccup was I called on a Sunday and they couldn't come out because of the contract with American Home Shield. But they walked me through a couple of things I could try and I was thrilled with their performance. They were there at 10:00 the next morning.

    We have an issue on the hot and cold water dispenser. The last two contractors that came by said they cannot work on those. Home Shield had been calling some kind of plumbing division. But this is more like an electric appliance. So they haven't resolved my problem on the dispenser. I'm having a hard time calling and explaining, and they say they're gonna talk to contractors, and then it's hard to get a reach to the contractors. It's been a long time that I tried to get my cooler fixed. But still, they haven't fixed it. It takes forever to talk to a person. Sometimes it takes 40 minutes before you can talk to a person and explain your problem and your situation. But they fixed two problems before and it was very quick. Home Shield is a good company and I like them, but they have to do a little bit better service.

    I put my claim through the internet. Got the email stating that Mister Plumber was coming by on March 2nd between 8:00 to 12:00. They showed up at around 10:00, took some pictures, and said they need to replace the water heater. They have to submit the paperwork to the insurance company for approval of replacement. Then they left and I've not heard anything from them since.

    What raised my eyebrows is when I went to the website and checked, it showed the claim as being complete. I called Mister Plumber this morning and they told me they submitted it yesterday. I called AHS and asked them about it. The representative said they hadn't received any paperwork. So now that's really interesting. This is a drawn out process that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I left another home warranty company 'cause I wasn't satisfied with them, and the sales pitch intrigued me. But now I'm just starting to think that all it was, was a sales pitch. I left one disaster to potentially get into another one. It hasn't been a very pleasant experience at all.

    I told American Home Shield that our AC issue was urgent. A tech came in less than 24 hours and looked at it. If a problem is urgent, my experience is that someone comes pretty fast. If it is not urgent, then they take their time, which is not bad. But American Home Shield is pricey compared to other suppliers. It's like $100 each time and then they charge you. They're like 60% more expensive, but my experience in my three calls to them were good.

    When I came into my kitchen, I had water to my ankle. I set up a claim that morning but the contractor didn't come until 3:00 that afternoon. I had a hard time getting them to come because when the lady rep placed the order, she didn't tell them that it was an emergency. They thought it was just a regular call. That's what took them until 3 o'clock because they were so backed up. Otherwise, everything else went well. The plumber was good. He cut my cabinet open, fixed my plumbing, and stopped the water from running. My cabinet is messed up but that couldn't be helped 'cause the pipe broke inside the wall. It had insulation there but the plumber said they don't put the insulation back so I'll have to get someone to do that once they take my cabinet out.

    I called and reported my heating unit not working and American Home Shield sent out Service One Air. The guy asked me what was going on with the heater and I told him that it wasn't heating up to what the thermostat was set at. He went up in the attic where the furnace is and stayed up there a few minutes. He disconnected the thermostat because I saw that there wasn’t any power on the thermostat. Then, he came down, went out and came back in. He said that it was a loose wire.

    Service One Air was trying to go around AHS. They wrote it up where AHS wouldn’t pay for the control board and it would have to come out of my pocket. They wrote up that it was blown due to a power surge. AHS wouldn’t pay for it. In order for me to get it fixed, I would have to pay them $595. So, I wrote them up on the Better Business Bureau and I also went on their Google site and wrote what they did. Texas Best came out as a second opinion after I was trying to be scammed by Service One Air and the tech was very professional and friendly. He said he knew he was coming to give a second opinion and he was wondering what the previous company said. I told him that they said I needed a new control panel board. He said that my control board was fine. Everything is working fine now and I was very satisfied with American Home Shield.

    A tech was dispatched here to repair my refrigerator. He was very professional. He explained everything in a way that I could understand what was going on. The issue couldn't be fixed because he needed to order the part to fix it. He left and said they would contact me when they got the part in. Then I got the email that the refrigerator had to be replaced. I wish I’d gotten a phone call to say that they would be replacing it rather than just an email.

    The technician explained what he was going to do with the dishwasher. When the part had to be ordered, he gave me an update or he described the process they would take and that someone would call me to reschedule when the part arrived. The same technician came back out and installed it. What concerns me is that if the air conditioning or heater were to break in the summertime or wintertime, the process to get somebody out seems to be a little long. But then, everything is great. On site, AHS is kind. They get right to the point and they explain their action when they are leaving as well.

    We had an air conditioning problem three times in the past in one of the properties in Plano and we called American Home Shield, but we had the worst experience with them. When it comes to AC, they make a bill for at least $1,700. Sometimes, that's what they do. What I did was I did not get the repair service from AHS. I had my private air conditioning company fix the unit for much cheaper.

    I thought of canceling our home warranty company too. If I have to spend that much money every time I call for a big thing, there is no point having it. I'll just keep saving the money I pay every month and that'll be more worth it. I didn't get a chance to cancel it though. When my tenant called from this property, they were having some heating problems. I tried to find out if I still had American Home Shield, and I'm still having their service. I called them. Somehow, I told them not to send the same company. They assigned a different company this time and they changed the switch. This time, the experience was good. Maybe it's because they assigned a different company and they were more honest.

    The only disappointment I had since dealing with American Home Shield was with the microwave. The technician couldn't take the microwave out of the space because there was something about a screw there. I was dissatisfied that they said I was not covered to have it taken out. And my question was, “If you can’t take it out, how can you say you can repair something?”

    I had to get somebody to take out the microwave. They would then come and put a part. It was a very uncalled for situation for me that I could not handle. I was so tied up and so stressed out that I told American Home Shield to forget it. I had someone install the new one in there because I was tired of waiting forever on the part. I have nothing against the guy who came because he diagnosed the problem. American Home Shield was also prompt. Other than this claim, I’ve been satisfied with American Home Shield. I had another claim where the water was running lukewarm and not hot. A tech came and fixed it. Now everything is working. The water comes out hot like it’s supposed to. And whenever I put it on, it keeps at that temperature.

    I originally called AHS because the garbage disposal was leaking and water was pouring out of the bottom of it. Plus, the sink was blocked up and I didn't know if they were related or not. The tech came out last Friday and replaced the garbage disposal. But he couldn't unclog the sink, so somebody else came out the following week. Then, the sink was clogged again this morning and they'll be coming out again on Tuesday. Other than that, I had some claims before this and everything's been fine.

    There was a little gas leak that was going into the valve. Fortunately, the service guy did a quick spray test and tightened a screw. It was a simple fix but a pretty serious problem with a little gas leak. We’ve had Home Shield for years and in the last year, it has gotten a lot better to schedule. In the past, it was painful to get someone to come ’cause 9 out of 10 times it'd be an urgent matter, whether it was plumbing, heating, or air conditioning. But when you do it online, within a few minutes, they give you the vendor and you can call them to ensure it gets scheduled, as opposed to waiting 24 or 48 hours for them to get back to you.

    American Home Shield still uses some vendors that are not very good. I can single a few out. One appliance vendor came and he had a horrible history online. He scheduled the appointment and didn't show up. When he came, he ordered the part but it was the wrong part and then he just said that he couldn't fix the appliance. The claim was for a stove for a tenant. It happened in October and then right before Thanksgiving he said that he couldn't fix it. So they had to get a different tech. But through trial and error, we've learned which vendors American Home Shield has are capable and which ones are not.

    I had a claim for a gas cooktop ring. The technician told me that they will deliver the item on Tuesday and then another item will be delivered today. He told me that when both items come, I should call him and he will come and install it. Everything is moving smoothly. Overall, American Home Shield is a good program. I wish everybody would have it because if I didn't have this program that my neighbor told me, this would have cost me a lot of money. I paid $125 for it and then I'm only paying American Home Shield $34 a month.

    When I first called AHS to put the claim in, the issue was the drain in our shower snapped off and needed to be replaced. I explained that to the first person, second person, and eventually the third and fourth person there. They all seemed very confused about it. The categories on the website are very specific so I didn't know where to put this one. That was why I called in to do it over the phone with one of their agents. The first agent said it's covered and not to worry about it. She put it in at the sewer company. The guy from the sewer company called and told me he couldn't help me.

    The reps at AHS didn't understand the issue and what I needed. It was super frustrating. None of their people on their phone could tell us if this was covered. They told me to talk to the vendor or the technician to ask them, which I thought was a little backwards because we pay them for a warranty and they should be the ones to tell us if something is covered or not. It took me four phone calls to get somebody out here. Once it was decided what service I needed, the contractor, Metro Plumbing, was great. We talked to them and it sounded like it would be covered but they weren’t gonna confirm that before AHS did. Once the guy came out, he said it was super-basic, routine thing. He was out of here in an hour and 10 minutes. It was quick.

    The motor was leaking. They replaced the motor in 2017, but it went bad again. When the tech came out, he said it was going to be close to $500 to fix it. We thought that was not a good investment to put into an old machine. So, we decided to go ahead and replace it. The first people that they contracted with at Sears were terrible. They sent me a text and an email that said they were coming between 1:00 and 5:00 on a Monday, but then he didn't show up and they didn't call. So, I called. Then they gave me another message that said that they would be out in a week. So I waited. They called me just before they were supposed to come out and said they couldn't come out for a month. So we just said, “No, thank you.” But American Home Shield’s fine. We’ve had them since 2001.

    We had a busted pipe because of the weather around here and the techs who came out were really good. But we had another claim where we had put in an order for something and they had ordered it. The process started in October and we didn't receive it until February. The parts weren't available but nobody kept us in contact about the process of what was going on, which got upsetting because we didn't know what was going on. We were waiting and waiting and they were still taking payments out. But they reimbursed us on some things too. So it was just a long process on that one, which was for the dishwasher. We have two homes and this happened in our house in Texas. But for our home in Kansas, the techs are really good at coming and doing things.

    The refrigerator needed the ice machine fixed and the dishwasher door handle needed to be replaced. AHS was very nice and understanding. They sent a guy out, which I was very pleased with, although there were a few hang-ups. He couldn't fix both at the same time like he planned because when he opened up the box to replace the piece for the dishwasher, it was the wrong piece. He came back about a week later after that and fixed the other one.

    I had a toilet tank that cracked and it was leaking water everywhere. I scheduled an appointment with the contractor the same day that I called in the claim. It was on a Sunday and they were closed, and so the next day, I scheduled an appointment for later on the afternoon on that Monday. The tech was really good. He came and looked at what I had going on. He was there for about 15 minutes and then he told me that my claim had to be approved through American Home Shield after he figured out exactly what was going on. A couple of hours later, they called back and said that my claim was approved, and that I would be getting a new toilet installed the next day, that Tuesday. It went smooth. Everything's great.

    When I tried using American Home Shield a couple of months ago, I was very dissatisfied with them. I tried calling in, and the calls were being dropped. You couldn't get through to them, or you’d be talking to them and just get cut off. I’d call back. I got right through, got right to an agent. Turned my bad opinion into a good opinion. Recently, the garbage disposal worked one time, and it just stopped working. So, we called AHS, and they sent out Wayne Hyde plumbing. My husband and I was very pleased with the tech's professionalism. He was very courteous. He was here earlier than when he said he would be here. He touched the garbage disposal and the thing started working. My dishwasher doesn't back up into my sink now. I can use my garbage disposal now. My husband is in love with them.

    American Home Shield has gotten better over the years we've had them. This last claim was easy. The garage door wouldn't go up and with one log-on to the website and just a couple of clicks, the contractor came out. They ordered a chain drive then tried to replace it. It wouldn't work so they ended up replacing the whole garage door opener. It's a much better unit than what we had before. It's quieter and I'm very happy with the repair. The tech did a good job. He called ahead and showed up when he was supposed to.

    When submitting a claim to American Home Shield, they ask if you wanna get a callback. It’s so easy and I just say I want a call back and they do. The tech who came out for an appliance repair was nice, very knowledgeable and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and didn’t seem rushed. He did a great job. I’ve had other claims and sometimes, I get misinformation from when I call like when I called originally and I thought I needed an electrician. I tried to cancel that one within an hour, which should have been fine. But the girl was not that knowledgeable and she said she didn’t know if she could do it. The contractor had been notified and had the schedule of appointment. I told her that they have not called me.

    It was a Saturday and I just called AHS an hour ago. I didn’t need an electrician and I needed an air conditioning guy and a plumber for the water heater. Sometimes, the AHS reps are not as knowledgeable or helpful. But then, sometimes I call and I get great people. It depends. I recommend AHS to my friends. I've been a customer for 20 years, so, I'm very happy with it.

    Technically, my experience with Home Shield per se was not a good one off the start because the first person they were gonna send me never showed. I had to call Home Shield twice to get the service for the first thing. They need to work on the contractors 'cause it messes up their overall perception.     I love American Home Shield. I did a claim for the line coming into the kitchen faucet. For the last three years, I've been trying to repair it and fix it and I couldn't do it anymore. Billy came and found out what it was. He fixed it. He had to replace the copper thing tubing. We've owned this house about four years and I had to put a whole new sewer in. I had to put a whole new main water line. None of this is covered by American Home Shield, but Billy got us the right people to do it. So, from that perspective, I thank American Home Shield for having them on staff.

    The claim submission process with AHS is very pleasant. Now, sometimes you might have to wait a long time, but they put you on this list that they call you back, and it's not that big of a deal. When we had our air conditioning replaced, the way that they handled that was very nice. The only thing is I wasn't aware, when we had to replace the sewer, that anything that's outside the house isn't covered. If you're making your warranty purchase, you have to read it really well, then you're not disappointed. With the new water line I put in about three weeks ago, I knew that they weren't going to do it, so I called Billy and he gave me a name of somebody that he trusts.

    My furnace failed. It was -30 degrees and I had to wait four days to get it replaced. I called American Home Shield on a Saturday and there was no emergency number provided and even Derousseau didn't have an emergency number. I had to wait till Tuesday to even find out that the furnace would be replaced. It was crazy cold, so I had to buy a lot of heaters and a lot of wood. It was like being in the Arctic. Derousseau did a very good job and I was really happy with the work that they did. They needed a day to get the heater, but we had lost three days just in trying to coordinate things. They had to come and see it, and American Home Shield had to make a decision.

    American Home Shield has a completely automated system. It is a bit frustrating. I could hang with the automated thing but at some point, it became very clear in the system there was no human that was gonna answer the phone. In fact, I had to call the system three times. It gets into a really weird loop. It doesn't even address its own problem within the loop. So, that is one thing that I like to see improved.

    My experience with other programs and other homes that I bought is that they wouldn't replace the entire system, be it AC or the furnace. They tried to just do it in parts. In this case, the parts wouldn't have mattered. The system was completely failed and American Home Shield replaced the entire furnace. So, in a lot of ways, it was a very generous way to address it. When the service activated, they did a very good job of providing the insurance that I paid for.

That was when the heaters broke down. I called him Friday. He said a lot of his employees were out, but if one of them was not available, he said he will personally come out.     It started getting cold inside the house. The heater was clicking on and off but it stopped blowing completely on Tuesday. I called American Home Shield and the repair guy came out on Saturday. He was great. It was cold and he went up in the attic. I went up there and asked him if he needed anything and he didn't. He stayed right on it, did what he had to do and got the heater working.     NorCal did a good job. They were there when they said and they did what they had to do but just couldn't fix the one thing. So, American Home Shield decided to give us a payment instead and I thought that was good on their part. What they didn't do very well was they didn't reach out to me.     The first tech that came out to work on my plumbing problems assumed somebody had dropped up and down the toilet, so he went back to his office and wrote up a report. Then I got a notice that my claim had been denied. After I threatened to quit American Home Shield, they had to send a second plumber out. The second one said my toilet was old and I just needed a new toilet. So they put a new toilet. They were gonna put in a standard one and I needed a handicapped one. I paid the difference out of pocket and I got an upgrade toilet. But American Home Shield should reach out to the person and discuss the claim with them. I had to wait three days, and then I decided to call them, and that was when they told my claim had been denied. I had to go two weeks without a toilet. This was the second incident I had with them that I had to get a second opinion.

    It's frustrating to submit a claim with AHS. Rarely am I able to talk to somebody to describe what our problem is. When I do, it seems like they have only certain boxes that you can check. It's not an easy conversation to get things done. Most recently, we've had frustration because we had two issues. We finally identified one as a plumbing issue and the other as an appliance issue. So they made the report and said, “The appliance person will come out.” We never got an appliance guy here. We still haven't. We had finally heard from somebody about a week later.

    Another frustration is that the quality of the product is never as good as what we have already. For example, we recently had a faucet problem. We knew that if we had called AHS, that they wouldn't have the parts for the type of faucet that we have. So we had to just go and buy a new faucet on our own. We didn't want to wait for the time to have to deal with somebody else. So we went outside of the insurance just because we knew it was going to take weeks before we could get the product in. So, slow on the product and not necessarily the same quality as what we have.

    I had techs from Mr. Rooter come out for my claims. The hot water wasn't working well and we were trying to understand if there was a problem with the hot water heater or the faucets. When the first tech came out, all he did was open the door to the water heater and said it looks new. My fiance said that the first person wasn't very thorough and he didn't really want to fix anything. We were concerned because the hot water was only lasting a few minutes for showers.

    A second person came out and he was wonderful. He took his time, went through what we were talking about, and was able to fix what we were asking him to fix. He took off a panel and adjusted the hot water. It worked fine after that and it is still working now. The second person really did a much better job. In the end, we were satisfied with the overall claim. We liked that we were sent a different person when we requested it.

    We also had a tech come out and he tried to help us fix a drain on the sink. On the first visit, I was told the problem was fixed. It worked for about three days then it started leaking again. On the whole, I'm very satisfied with American Home Shield. I had another house before this one and I had a two-year contract. I only used the home warranty twice but it was very efficient and easy to use. I got my money's worth.

    My oven would not heat up and it turned out there was a burnt wire. The gentleman pulled it out and did a good job. He knew what he was doing, fixed it and I can now bake. My daughter has had American Home Shield for quite some time and when I downsized out to the same area she did, she insisted on it. So, I’ve had them maybe a year. My first experience with them was probably my fault. This is my first time in an all-electric house. I came in and my microwave wouldn't come on. So, I called them and they said they would get somebody out here. They gave me the name of the people. I discovered that the microwave was controlled by an outlet also and it came right back on. I called the people who were going to come out and told them not to come because the microwave was working.

    AHS charged me $75 and the repair guy insisted. He kept billing them because he insisted he came out here. If he did, he met somebody else in disguise because he never came anywhere near my house. So that took a little while to straighten out. But other than that, everything's been quite satisfactory. After that, I'm sure everything's gonna work. I know to call AHS to cancel and not the other people.

    I sent in a claim for our washer that was overflowing. As it happened, the next day, we had some trouble with the pipes. The toilet overflowed, and we had to have the Roto-Rooter guy out to clear out the pipes. It appeared that the washer problem was related to that. But we didn't know that until the guy came and checked it and couldn't find anything wrong with the washer. The guy was kind and very attentive. But he wasn't very clean. He didn't smell very good. But he seemed to know what he was doing. He checked everything all over. He was very helpful and understanding of the problem. After we talked to him about the sewer pipe, he said that was what the problem was. The water backed up because it couldn't get through the sewer pipes. So it was my mistake in not trying it again after we got the pipes cleared out.

It was inconvenient but it wasn't a problem.

    AHS has it down how to respond and they don't leave you in the dark on anything. On my first call telling them I had a problem, they took care of everything. They notified me they were going to be getting the person in our area that does the work for them and that that person would call me and set up an appointment. Then the next day, I got a call from the company that was coming to do the inspection and repairs if they could and set it up. There was a little bit of lag time there, but it was expected because I live out in the middle of nowhere plus there's the pandemic and everything going on. But they still did it in just a few days.

    The company that AHS hired was very professional and very knowledgeable. When I was explaining over the phone what the problem was, they kind of knew what it was before they ever got here and they were right. They just replaced the part and they were here for less than 20 minutes, They had me fixed up and going, and now, everything works fine. So I can't complain one bit. I bought this warranty well over a year ago thinking that if anything ever goes wrong, I might need it. And a month or two after I bought the thing, my hot water heater went out. The whole bottom rotted out and I had no clue it was doing that. I also had it repaired through AHS, so I've used the warranty twice in about a year and a half and both times I was very pleased.

    The washing machine was not draining. It kind of took a week and a half for the contractor to come out. But once they came out, they fixed it right away. The issue was a clogged filter. I don't know how a little sock got into the filter, but it did and it wasn't draining. So they cleaned it all out and they were done. American Home Shield has been pretty good. Usually, I get response within 24 hours after I log in a claim and make the appointment right away. If they need to order a part and come out, they come right back out. So they do real well and that's why I've kept them.

My ex-in-laws all work in real estate and they said, "Don't ever own a house without a home warranty." The furnace stopped working recently.     My faucet wasn't working and Brick Street Plumbing was out the next day after I put in the claim. They showed up on time, troubleshot, figured out what was wrong, and got it fixed in ample time. But the other claim I had was a catastrophic nightmare. It was the worst experience that I've ever had dealing with any contractor from American Home Shield.

    The first guy came to the house and barely knocked on the door, so nobody heard him being there. Then he just left. My wife happened to be coming down the stairs and saw the truck leaving the driveway. She tried to catch him but he doesn't turn around. I called him five minutes after he left my house and he kept hanging up on me instead of telling me that he couldn't come back or whatever. I wind up calling his dispatcher, Sears, and they told me they were gonna send him back out that same day because he was right there. He never came back out. They called me around 7 o'clock at night and said they were going to have somebody else come out the next day.

    The next day, a young lady came out and she didn't troubleshoot the problem. She opened the fridge, used their temperature gun, and stated that those break all the time and that even if she puts a kit in there, it's just gonna break in a couple more months. She said she was gonna put down the paperwork and she left. It's been like a week. Something is telling me I'm gonna have to go out here and spend $3,500 on a fridge because my home warranty sent this company out there who did nothing and I'm still without a fridge.

    I recently had a leaky pipe in the basement. There are two lines. It comes from the shower, then goes out to the main line. The contractor did excellent. They were very nice, and they responded very quickly where I've called other companies. And the last time I had a pipe in that area, I was without a shower for 10 days. Those people showed up two days later.

    I've used American Home Shield twice. I had one company charge me twice, but they didn't even fix that then. All they did was show up, tell me, "We can't work on this. It's got a warranty on it." Also, the three times I've had to call, it was very difficult because of the language barrier. They understand me but it's hard to talk to and understand them. And there are not enough options of people to do the work. The few times that I called somebody, AHS gave me one or two choices. There should be more.

    When the HVAC guy came last summer, he said he was only limited to do a certain amount of things. He was only allowed to put so much Freon into my unit. When I signed up with American Home Shield, I didn't realize that. I knew I had to pay a monthly price and if I need a tech to look at something, that's $125. When they show up, I hope AHS covers my issue. Recently, I was having stoppage problems in my shower, toilet and master bathroom. The techs took care of them just fine and did a great job.     I was so disappointed because last year, I called in a work order during the winter, this summer, I called in a work order, I called one in this winter. I had three repairmen came in and none of them found anything wrong. First of all, my thermostat was going bad, the reason it was acting up, and then my fan went out.     Submitting the claim for the furnace that went out was simple. American Home Shield unfortunately did not have a contractor that could come out. They had to find one. I had to hunt down somebody to come out and look at it. It was in the middle of winter. That was the worst claim that I've had to experience, so far. On the other hand, the claim for the hot water heater was rock star. They were on that. They had a contractor, brought it out, replaced it. There was a bit of an up fee to make sure everything was up to code. I took care of that. They fixed the hot water heater along with the copper pipes that were attached to it. And that was perfect.

    The Whirlpool technician was great. He came out once to diagnose and then came out again with replacement parts. Unfortunately, those did not work. He was going to order some more parts. But I ended up deciding that it was a 14-year-old dishwasher on borrowed time, and asked them to just close out the claim, and I purchased a new unit. I've filed several claims with American Home Shield and they've all worked out great. In this case, it became pretty clear as we started doing work on the unit that it was just going to take weeks and weeks and weeks to figure out what was going on. That's nobody's fault. That's just the way this works. With COVID, getting parts can take forever. So after about a month without a dishwasher, I've had about enough. I'm glad I have American Home Shield.     I had a claim for a furnace repair and AHS was great. They told me who the contractor was going to be and when they came, it was zero degrees and I didn't have a furnace. My motherboard had blown up and so they found one really close, picked it up and put it in. So I had heat but it kept going on and off. The techs came back out and they've been trying to tweak my system. They said that what they bought was a universal motherboard. Now, they ordered one that is specific for my brand and they said that should solve the problem. They are being super diligent about the work.

    I've been with American Home Shield for almost six years now and they've always been great. There was one time an appliance person came and I had a bit of an issue getting them to follow up. But other than that, the issue is always the vendor or the repairperson. AHS is always very good on the phone and they follow up. I've been super happy with them.

    Radiant Plumbing came out and they did a free service on my AC unit and heating. They informed me that there could be a problem with the AC unit and gave me a quotation for a repair.     So far, we've called American Home Shield three times. It was only one time that they were able to do something for us. It was nice. That was just detail in the writing that we didn't realize. With the other times, it was when our plumbing blew up on our house. AHS wouldn't do anything about it because it was two feet outside of from underneath our soffit. We bought the home warranty so that if anything like that did happen, we'd be covered. It didn't cover it because our houses are at a little tricky location, and it has another thing outside for the plumbing. The plumbing system all works together. But then, there's this other plumbing system that's outside of the house. AHS pretty much didn't cover that.

    I've used Maughanster Appliance Repair a couple of times. I had them work on a dryer and the tech told me that with my Viking Appliances, getting American Home Shield would be well worth my time.     There was a leak in the house. Submitting the claim to AHS was a pain. Plymwr, on the other hand, went well and above over their customer service. They were great. AHS could have better customer service. They could improve on the communication between the agent and the people they're checking back with. The worst part is holding for a long time and getting disconnected by the agent. It happened four times. So, that was four different phone calls I had to make with hour holds. I was not happy. The latest AHS rep, though, that helped me was fantastic.

    A young man came to fix the washing machine because it was flooding and the water was rising on the floor and all the rest of it. He checked it out and said, "I'm sorry, but I'm not a plumber. And this requires a plumber, because I don't have a license to switch these gears. And I think that's where it's coming from." He then made it necessary for me to go back to American Home Shield and say we need a plumber. It turned out he was wrong. There was nothing wrong except just the tightness of the device to turn on and off the water. The first guy was right to say that he couldn't fix it because it needed them to make the water running properly. But he didn't need to make the water running property. It was perfectly fine. He thought that if he tried to turn it and he broke something, it would be a nightmare, so we'd better get a plumber.

    The plumbers came very fast. They turned the switches very easily and immediately, everything was fine. Also, they were sweet. They said, "Look, I'm sorry, but there's no reason for us to be here." They also said they were not going to charge us because they didn't do anything. They were all very efficient, professional, and polite. It all went well and was done quickly.

    The problem I was having was that the washing machine wasn't draining anymore. It wasn't spinning out. It's a 25-year old washing machine and I was hoping it could be fixed because it cleans the clothes very well and it's trusty. It was just one little part that had worn out in the bottom after 25 years and the tech managed to have one on the truck, which for an old machine like that, was a miracle, and he fixed it in 20 minutes. He also did social distancing, wore a mask and foot shields. He was fine.

    Sometimes getting somebody out in a timely fashion is difficult because if the weather is really cold, there's probably a lot of people having breakdowns of one kind or another. AHS only contracts with certain people, so I can't call my own and have them reimburse me, it has to be their agents or their contracted professionals that come out. They're from various, different sole proprietorships or small shops and generally, they're very responsive. The BK Plumbing was very good. The heating was fine and these Whirlpool guys were fine.

    However, AHS should widen its network of approved service professionals so that if they were common ones that people call on their own, then it would make it easier to get service when you needed it. I just had to replace my whole furnace, because their service vendor for that furnace service could not get a part for at least four days. We were dealing with sub-zero weather. I couldn't wait four days. So, I called my own furnace person and bought an entirely new furnace.

    There were also a couple of mishaps. One of the furnace services that I asked for, they were from Russia and they didn't speak English very well. There was a miscommunication and they wound up leaving. I got very frustrated with them because they weren't doing what I asked them to do. But all in all, American Home Shield has been there for me. I don't know anything about maintaining home stuff, so I needed some assurance and they're it.

    If you don't have somebody that's handy around the house and understands how these systems work, it's necessary to have it. It started at a $25 deductible, and then it went up to 50, and now it's 75 because of the age of the house. But I keep replacing stuff and my deductible is still $75. They should take the age of the equipment into account, not just the house when they are setting the deductibles.

    The tech that came out for my sink told me that a screw was loose and he tightened it and everything's working. He was very nice and very courteous. One time, I submitted a claim for my microwave and AHS sent someone out. But they didn't repair it because they said that it was our fault. How was it our fault? I had no idea. Because the handle was loose on it and they couldn't repair it. But I had a plumber come out once and he did a fantastic job. However, half of the techs don't wear the footy thing that you put on. So, I bought some and if they don't have them, I give them. But, they wear the mask.

    The initial issue was my microwave. It was repaired by another contractor with American Home Shield. They must have rewired it because they took it and did something to it, and brought it back. It worked for a couple of months and now, it doesn't even come on at all. So, when Heavenly Hands came to look at it, that's when everything was discovered on what went on with it and why in that condition. The refrigerator and the dryer have been working good.     I had a pleasant experience. The contractor came right out and fixed the issue. The only problem that I have ever had with AHS was with my washer. They were supposed to replace it but they said they didn't have any washers in their warehouses. I'd have to wait until they get some. I tried to wait it out but I could no longer wait because it was a long time. If I didn't want to wait, I had to go out and purchase it. However, I had to put the money up first then they would reimbursed me. It was a headache because I had to come up $600 something. I went out and found a washing machine that was compatible to mine. However, they had said that they would only pay a certain amount which was $400. I had a large capacity washer and you couldn't get that for $400 in 2021. I had to put up almost $300 out of my pocket to cover it.

    Our garbage disposal wasn't chopping things up enough and it kept clogging the pipe. The contractor looked at it and it was dripping from the bottom, too. So they replaced it. Then about two days later, I was using it and it all of a sudden stopped. When they came, they found there was a penny in the garbage disposal, which they removed. They ran and double checked it. It's been fine ever since. They were very nice. The first time they came, they were very professional and came in and did the steps. Then the second time, they were equally professional, but they were more talkative. They were great. They were all masked. They did their work. They cleaned up any messes that they had made. Overall, the claims process has been very good so far. Everybody that AHS have sent us has been very professional and kind. When it didn't work, they came right back out.     In 2020, I had to submit a claim for the ductwork and that took almost six months to get it fixed. American Home Shield kept sending out the wrong type of technician to try to fix the problem. Those particular technicians did not work on ductwork and some of them didn’t show up. I made another claim for my ductwork. This was the second time I called about the issue. At first, it was kind of difficult because I tried to inform the lady at American Home Shield that the previous person had left a mess and for her not to send that person. But she ended up sending the same person again.

    Finally, she sent another person after the person they sent told them that there was nothing that they can do because they never did work on ductwork. Once American Home Shield got a contractor that knew what they were doing, their tech was able to fix or repair the issue. She was nice and very professional. Despite that, I’m gonna cancel American Home Shield very soon.

    When the techs came out, it took 20 minutes to figure out what was wrong and another 20 minutes to fix it, then they left. Everything's working fine now. I also didn't have any trouble getting ahold of somebody when I was submitting the claim with AHS. They got me hooked up with somebody quickly and I hadn't hung up the phone before I got a text from the company that was going to come look at it. So, that was pretty good and I would tell others that the warranty worked well. I bought this house and it's an older house. We didn't know what was going to go on with it and the warranty probably saved us money already. So, it's definitely worthwhile.

    The first time I used AHS was a nightmare. I had a leak in the bathroom and I was left with two holes in the ceiling. It took several weeks and I had to contact them several times. Then, they fixed the issues but I had just moved in and had just redone my ceiling and I had to pay a guy to come redo it for $350 after I had just spent thousands fixing my house up. I wouldn't expect the techs to leave it exactly how they found it but at least that it looked decent. It was just cardboard put back into the ceiling and screwed on. I could see exactly where it was from far away and it looked pretty bad. I can't complain but I would add that option to have things fixed and put it back the way it was. I would not mind paying extra. I want my house to look nice.

    Also, submitting the claim is easy, but I wish that they had more details. For instance, my last one was I was looking into changing a fan in the bathroom and I wasn't sure what that was. It ended up being electrical but I had to look into it. Then, there were no options for that either so I had to make sure they call me and let them know it's for an electrical issue with the fan. But it was easy when the tech came in and he was out within 15 minutes.

    THIS COMPANY HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. First can only communicate to a customer service rep via telephone. The wait times are hours open hours. Second the contractors that you pick to do the job typically do not show up or make up and excuse why they cannot complete the job. The contractors that AHS uses have the worst google review ratings like 1.3 and there are hundreds of reviews all complaining about the same issue. No show to appointments and doing part of the work then taking months to return back to finish the job. Third hours of operations - this company does not provide you hours of operation. Fourth - No one from this company has a way to email you or provide you with information about your issue or your case. Fifth super long wait times. Honestly disappointed with American Home Shield. Stay away?

    I had a refrigerator that was starting to go bad on me. It wasn't cooling like it was supposed to. When I first noticed it, I turned the temperature to make it colder but I didn't want to go all the way. I went a couple of notches at a time. It got cold for a little while then it stopped. I have one of those thermometers so I used that and I took the temperature of the refrigerator. The fridge itself was about 45 degrees and the freezer was about 28.     I have two ACs. We noticed the fan of one of the ACs was on and blowing air, but it wasn't cooling. So I went outside and the fan wasn't on. But the fan was off on the outside but it was still blowing air from the inside. I turned it off right away and I left it like that. Then the other AC was kind of kicking in, efforting more since the other one wasn't working. It was delaying kicking in, turning on and not cooling. The contractor was scheduled at Friday, but I was out of town for emergency so I called them. They were there first thing Monday morning. They were on time. They checked it out. The guy went up to the attic and then outside with a fan. He changed some fuse. He did a couple work up there and he was there for a while on one AC.     The outside unit of my air conditioner was making this really loud, banging noise. I had to turn it off. It was also getting warm in the house, too. Usually, I set them all like 72. It’ll be like 77 in the household to cool again, and then hot. I turned it off a little bit. If I turn it back on, it would not make the noise. But after it ran for about an hour or so, it started making that rattling noise again. I submitted the claim online on a Sunday night then the company showed up Monday afternoon. It wasn't making the noise while the tech was there. But I took a video of it on my phone. He said he knew exactly what it was so he changed out the part there that day.

    He told me that I have to have regular maintenance done to the air conditioner to keep my Home Shield warranty though. I don't know if that's something that American Home Shield should be more upfront with or if that’s something that’s actually in their policy. Either way, it needed to be cleaned so he cleaned it out for me, and I had to pay the extra bill for that. He said they don't cover regular maintenance, and that regular maintenance had to be done to be covered by American Home Shield.

    There was a water stain under a bathroom upstairs and we were concerned there was a leak. We submitted a service request with AHS and it turned out that it might have been something the previous owners might have had on the house that we just never noticed until then. It wasn't wet and it could have been from a big spill upstairs in that bathroom that caused the original stain, but there wasn’t a leak anywhere. The tech who came out was good and he fixed the toilet for us that was constantly running. Then he emptied out the sink drain because it was clogged.

    My icemaker had slowed down to a crawl and we figured we'd have someone figure out the problem. We had two gentlemen, Harold and Scott, who did several things. Harold tried replacing several parts and took a look to see if a couple of the components were working properly. That didn't end up resolving the problem and so he came again. Scott came out after that and figured out that there was an issue inside the refrigerator itself. They then recommended that the refrigerator be replaced. We put in the request a couple of days ago and I got an email that AHS would have reached out to the people that would be delivering the replacement. The email also said that those should reach out to me within a few days. I'm waiting on that step.

    Occasionally, I'd be a little confused when something is finished. If a particular problem wasn't resolved by a tech on the first go but I haven't heard anything from the technician or from American Home Shield, I'll have to go to the website. It might show that the visit's completed so I have to call them. AHS should put more information on their website so I don't have to call.

    We were having that winter storm and a pipe broke. While we called the plumber, we also called American Home Shield. We called FEMA too because we got flood insurance. We called everything we had because we were without licensed water for five days. When the first plumber came, they just turned off the water. When the Sewer Medic plumber came, he said, "American Home Shield sent me but they're not paying for any pipe breaking claims in Texas. I can stay and fix your pipes and Sewer Medic will charge to diagnose the problem then we'll give you a quote if you want us to fix it."

    We had read the American Home Shield policy after my husband called. American Home Shield sent something to our emails explaining the freezing clause in the policy. My only issue was they were not even looking. Every plumber that came here explained to us that you can tell if a pipe broke for a reason or if it broke for wear and tear. American Home Shield made the blanket decision that they're not covering that and that's their prerogative. I made the decision to pay for everything out of my pocket. The guy fixed the plumbing.

    I called American Home Shield and said, "I want to make sure y'all didn't charge me $75 since y'all are not covering this." They were adamant about the fact that they did not have to refund my $75. That did not make them a good operator to me. I've been with them for 20 years and waiving that $75 fee was not going to hurt them. I haven't worked since covid so that $75 will will make or break me. Because they wouldn't give it back, I left them and my husband already got us home warranty with another company.

    The AC went out last summer and I needed a handling unit. The vendor that American Home Shield sent wanted $7,000. They were trying to get as much money out of us and wanted to build a bridge up there so they could work comfortably, which costs additional charges. Home Shield gave me like 1,500 and I found someone to do it for 3,000. He was able to get the handler at a decent price and charged me a decent price.

    Other than that, the contractors have been professional. They come in with their masks. Also, I'm working from home and they're quiet when they can be. Wilk's did the refrigerator and they came in very professionally. They ordered a new one but the new icemaker was damaged. It worked good that weekend but that Monday, we didn't have ice. There was a part that wasn't working. It took two weeks or so for the first replacement to come in, so I can only imagine how long it's going to take for this one. But everything was fine. The house was a mess, but they were great. The service was efficient and quick.

    We have five different accounts with AHS. I'm happy with the way things are going. The only thing is that sometimes I'll call or sometimes my wife calls and they do not have both of our information. A couple of times, I just asked them, "Please add my name to the system as well because my wife initiated, but I make the calls." But, when we get ourselves introduced and the case gets going, they schedule the company and then they appear there at the right time and they do their job properly.     I've been with American Home Shield for five years. My recent claim was one of the easiest claims I ever did. I called them on the phone because I have a geothermal furnace. It's listed as a heat pump, but it's geothermal and not a lot of people work on those. I've learned in the past when they've sent people out and they were like, “What?” Then they've had to leave. So I always call to make sure everybody is aware of the furnace. I have the WaterFurnace.

    When I called this time, I wasn't on hold more than five minutes. But before, I was on hold up to 20 minutes. Getting a hold of them was a hard thing to do. But this time, I got ahold of them on Thursday morning. It was very cold out. So the next day, I had a technician out there by 8 o'clock, Friday morning, which was only a day later. I like Economy Furnace. I had two technicians there. They were both very, very helpful, and polite. When they came out last time, they had to order the part but they got my auxiliary heat working for me to get me through until the part came. So they were wonderful. They were back out Tuesday morning to repair my furnace and everything's good. They were very nice. The gentleman even saw that I had filters sitting there, and he changed the filter for me. So I was very, very pleased and I have heat.

    American Home Shield have spent $5,000 on me in five years. I had the geothermal furnace go out twice. I had a refrigerator that was two years old blow up and then I also used them for my dryer. When this geothermal furnace went down, it was $4,000. But American Home Shield capped me off. It was $3,800, which was totally reasonable as far as I'm concerned. I only had to pay the difference.

    We had a stoppage in our sewer line and the contractor came out and they cleared everything. They discovered we had a cracked toilet too. It took them a few hours to finish the service because they went through and cleared the P-traps, and then they opened up our access and cleanout. In this area, it's really hard to get professionals out here. These guys were professional and friendly. They paid attention to detail. They did a phenomenal job. I'm very satisfied with them.     The oven could not be repaired because the tech was unable to get the parts. But he recommended that the oven be replaced and AHS covered that. He did a great job. Submitting the claim also very easy. I did it over the phone and it would have been nice to have spoken to a person when I was trying to make a schedule of the service. It was great to do it online, but I wanted to see if there was an alternate time that was not in the recording. And that was challenging, too. I wasn't able to do that, so I just took what they had. Other than that, I've been telling a lot of people about American Home Shield because it came with our house when we purchased it and we have kept up with it, and I'm glad that we have.

    I had a flooding in my basement. Apparently, my sump pump broke. So, I had three inches of water in my basement. I submitted a claim to Easy

    American Home Shield and the rep expedited it. She was great getting it filed. Then I contacted Choice Plumbing. They indicated to me that I could potentially have it expedited so that water wouldn't continue to flow through my house. I called back and it was great. She said I can expedite it. The tech agreed to show up the next day. He didn't have the right part, but then he ended up showing Monday. He was great all the way. He explained everything. He's coming out to put in a battery backup sump pump. He's extremely professional. He was very patient. It was a great experience.

    I've had several claims with American Home Shield. They're quick to respond to the claim. I have one issue with the air conditioning unit. It took a while because the provider wasn't in town. He lived 30 miles out. He destroyed the air unit, and I had to replace the air unit last year. But they still gave us $2,000 towards the unit. It ended up costing us 6,000. Once we got through that, it was a lot easier. But other than that, in the five years I've had them, I've never had any issues with getting things fixed.

    The baseboard of the electricity in the basement was out and a repair company came out. The guy was friendly, and he took care of business. He analyzed the problem, fixed it, and was on his way. He was great. As a matter of fact, he gave me his card. I would highly recommend that company. They were excellent. I'm glad I have American Home Shield, and I highly recommend them as well.     The first service guy came here and was just terrible. He was around the corner at somebody else's house, but it was time for my appointment and they sent him over here. He said that he didn't know what was wrong with this refrigerator and it needed a temperature gauge that he had to order. I asked him if it would come back fast and he said "I don't know. Why don't you rent a refrigerator?" So I called the company and I told them about this.

    Another tech came out and he was wonderful. It was the motor. The tech put the temperature gauge in and it still didn't jump on. So he said that he couldn't go further. He did everything he could do to get that refrigerator going, but it just wouldn't go. So the last experience was pretty good. The claim submission was very easy and American Home Shield did a good job. They're gonna reimburse me for a refrigerator. I already went and purchased one. They told me to email the receipt in and they'd give me the money back.

    This company sent a repair guy for which I paid the $79 diagnostic fee. The repair guy who arrived and said I needed a certain part for my washer. He came approximately a week later with the part - this second appointment was not done through the company. I was just happy to have him come and fix it - I wasn’t sure if he was in contact with ProConnect. He installed the part, charged me $180 (gave him a $20 tip) and he leaves. I then test it and immediately realize that after 2+ hours of working on the washer that it’s not fixed.

    I contacted him several times - he finally did respond telling me what I needed to buy. So I purchased it and asked him when he could come. After I contacted him several times with no response I contacted ProConnect. They offered me no help but said that they would waive the diagnostic fee and send someone else out. I explained that I paid cash (unfortunately) to the repair guy but that it was not fixed and that I just need someone to come fix it and install the part that I bought - that I didn’t need anyone to diagnose the problem again!

    I called them on a few occasions and they said they would have someone call me and never did. They promised that a supervisor would call and again never did. So I’m out $200 + $79 and with a broken washer. Awful company, will never ever use them again clearly. They have a terrible business model where they hire freelancers that can do what they want and in this case request cash payments (not fix the problem and then disappear) for which I understand ProConnect does not allow cash payments - but how was I supposed to know!? Never again!

    A friend of mine has American Home Shield and they fixed her hot water heater. I found AHS to be informative and helpful, and they were fair. Two technicians came and they were very nice. They had to take a hot water heater out and they put a new one in. They had their own boots and masks. They cleaned up and took the old stuff away with no trouble. AHS is a great service. I was renting out my property, but now I’m living there. It would be a good investment if you have tenants because they respond quickly and professionally.

    The tech that came out last time was great. In comparison to the claim I had for my dishwasher and refrigerator earlier, this was much better. I do like that the turnaround was within 24 hours. Even though the tech had to come out twice, it was fair in the context of having to do diagnostic work. He was very competent. He let me know what was going on and he had a quick turnaround time. He was courteous too. But the contractor that was sent out for the dishwasher and the refrigerator was the exact opposite. It was all one call. In this case, there was an excessive amount of visits. I was not happy with the contractor. They had to perform the same repair twice on the refrigerator due to it being improperly installed the first time.

    I am planning on converting my current resident into a rental because I'm moving soon. So I will likely not be continuing with service with American Home Shield. But it has nothing to do with the service. It's because for an out of state landlord, it's not really good service for a warranty. The back and forth is not doable for a landlord.

    Our heat wasn't coming on so we filed a claim. Technicians came out, went to the attic, and did whatever they needed to do. They said that the thermostat went out. They had a thermostat with them so they replaced the one we had. I had to call them back because the heat wasn't coming on and they came the next day. They said something had misfired and they had to clear out the line or the coil. They got it fixed. Since then, everything has been working well. I'm satisfied.

    Our AC would go off. It would take a day and it would come back on. It had something to do with the switch inside of the house or up in the attic. I couldn't find it. It went off again the other day, but it came back on. The tech said if it acts up again, just give them a call. I went up to it again. It keeps saying, “Reading sensor." It shouldn't keep just saying reading sensor. He should also be able to figure what is exactly going on with it.

    There were two leaking sinks. One was related to the pipe connection. There was another where a basket strainer had to be replaced. Then the third item was the dishwasher. That was a bit of back and forth. It was a plumbing that was going into the dishwasher that created the problem. The dishwasher was backing up water. The plumber originally said that wasn't a plumbing problem and he would refer that to the appliance tech. The appliance tech came around and he said, "Nope. This is not an appliance problem." He would go back to the plumber. Eventually, TMD Plumbing came back, they just adjusted the connecting hose to the dishwasher and the problem has gone away. I've used other providers but American Home Shield is the best.

    It was two degrees and I was freezing. I found out that I had no heat and even both my dogs in the house were frozen solid. If it wasn’t for my electric blanket, I would have died. The tech that AHS sent out was good and he did everything he possibly could to get me an air conditioner/heater right away as my old unit had to be replaced. But AHS was supposed to apply $2,000 towards my unit and when I signed the paperwork to have it installed, it wasn't applied. I don't know if would I get that or if they would because the price was the same when I bought it. Other than that, the contactor, J & J Mechanical, did everything they could. I even liked the way that they said someone was coming out and they gave me a map of where the tech was at.

    I had an issue with my washer back in December. It was my first claim with AHS. They sent Bob's Appliance. But it did not work out. He was not good. He didn't know what he was talking about and he was very rude. So, he left and he didn't fix the washer. Then, I called AHS back again. They sent somebody else out. He replaced something on there. But then the washer was still doing the same thing again. I called the guy and he came back out and looked at it. He said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. It still wasn't working. Then, they sent their senior tech today. He said that there was something wrong with the pump. He was gonna order a piece, so we'll see. AHS is doing what they can do. They're helping.

    The ice maker was leaking and the repair guy thought he fixed it but it was leaking the next day. So, we called again and another fellow was sent out. He informed is that the ice maker had to be replaced. He ordered it while he was here and it came on time. It came one night and he came the next day and put it in for us. It took him 10 minutes. He was very good. The first guy misdiagnosed it and he thought he could fix it without ordering new parts. But they were all nice people and treated us well. We were a little disappointed that it didn't get fixed right away but it was fine. American Home Shield took care of it.

    We called American Home Shield for our furnace that's in the attic. Technicians have been here four or five times since last summer. There were two different guys that came about and I just let them do their thing. If they needed me, I was in the house. When they were done, they said so. The furnace is working now. The thing was we were seven weeks out without heat and we had to run space heaters in our house. American Home Shield let us know right away but it took a while to get the furnace fixed. I had to call and get the fire going because people were dragging their feet and we were freezing our butts off. It was cold here and we had two inches of snow on the ground.

    We had trouble with an oven and the appliance repair people were fine, but they couldn’t find the part. I wish they could though. We gotta get a new oven and American Home Shield is gonna pay for a big chunk of a new oven, but it's a custom house and a custom oven. They allowed quite a bit of money for it, but it's not going to be enough to buy a new custom oven, and you can't find one. We're irritated, but that's not their fault. People just can't buy a freakin’ oven right now, especially a custom one. Other than that, they're fine.

    United Air Temp did a phenomenal job. They always do. I ask for them if I have a problem with a unit. They come back in a timely manner. They returned the call promptly when American Home Shield sent the information over. They responded to me on Sunday to make the appointment for Monday morning. So they were fantastic. The technician that came out when the unit wouldn't cut on was very polite. He called 30 minutes before he got there. But he did not tell the tenant what the problem was. He called me instead. When I spoke to him, he said he did the coils and that a couple of the wires were not connected. The unit is working very nicely. I love American Home Shield. They’re great.
