Tony with Tech-Tonics came out to repair my icemaker and did a beautiful job. But I had problems back in the summer of ‘21 with my air conditioner. It took quite a while for American Home Shield to connect me with a service provider. It took me calling back three or four times but they couldn't find a service provider available. But I could understand most of this was probably out of their control ’cause everybody was having problems. Other than that, I'm satisfied with what they're doing.

It's been a long process for the AC claim. G & R was the one that found the coils for me back in June. It took a lot of work on their part because it was not an easy part to find but they were able to replace it and got the unit back to working. However, after they got the coils replaced, it was still freezing up. American Home Shield had sent me a different company out here and that other company, American Air, damaged the new coils that I had just gotten replaced. They were telling me that I had poured some kind of chemical on the coils that caused the coils to be damaged. They reported that to American Home Shield and they were denying my claim to get the coils replaced.
It was a very pleasant experience to know that you have the opportunity to have a second opinion when you don't agree with the diagnosis of one company. American Home Shield suggested I get G & R. When they came over and saw the unit, they were able to identify that it was not a chemical damage. They were able to report back to American Home Shield that it was the other company that had damaged it. It was my word against them, and I needed somebody to come and explain to them that there was no reason why I would pour any chemicals if the part was brand new but I was able to get the coils replaced again through American Home Shield because of that second opinion. Other than the AC unit issues, every time I call for any appliance - washer, dryer, stove, fridge - they're very quick in taking the call, setting up the service, and getting me a technician out here. I’ve been a customer for American Home Shield for years and I know I can depend on them.
The worst experience that I’ve ever had when it comes to American Home Shield is that their customer service is scripted, outsourced, and straight out lying to me. I used to work at a call center, so I know that it’s a lot cheaper to outsource our customer service call centers to other parts of the world. However, it is very difficult, me being the customer, trying to get through customer service when English is not their primary language. I experienced a lot of headache trying to get the customer service representatives to understand what I was trying to say and what my situation was.
I understand the diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace but when they only have a script to read and you ask something outside of the script and they just repeat the script to you again and again, it's not getting anywhere. I said, “Do me a favor. I’m not getting through with you. Can you raise your hand and get me somebody that can take an escalation?" They said they were in a call center but they were working from home. I could hear chickens in the background.

I had a failure of the heat kit on my furnace. It burned up the wires, the circuit breakers, and two of the heating elements so the whole thing had to be replaced. I called American Home Shield around Tuesday and they got somebody from Brown Air Conditioning and Heating out to diagnose the system within about two days. That individual told us that it was going to take probably a day or two to get the parts. They were going to have to order some things. Then he came back and fixed it up in about 10 minutes. American Home Shield's process performs as intended. The folks at Brown Air Conditioning and Heating get super high marks. The people were competent and professional. It was good to know that American Home Shield had secured a good provider to represent them and take care of my needs.

When the glass on my oven was shattered, I called American Home Shield right away. They are always great at fixing things and the young lady told me that it was covered. They were gonna have a technician reach out to me when they would be able to come out. Once the technician came, he asked how long have we had the oven and I told him we haven't had it a year. He said maybe it was still under warranty. He called American Home Shield, and they said if it was within a year, it was definitely under warranty and they couldn't do anything. I have to reach out to the company that I purchased the appliance from. The technician was very professional and apologized. He wished he could have helped out with it. He was very sympathetic about me not able to use it. But American Home Shield already took $75 out. I have been satisfied with American Home Shield and this is the only situation that I was kind of disappointed with. I'm on a fixed income and I could use that $75 towards something else.

The last claim I had was for my refrigerator. American Hi-Tech responded pretty quickly. They came out and did everything they possibly could do. But it wasn't cooperating. The tech was wonderful. He gave me all the information he could give me on it and what to do. I would definitely use American Hi-Tech again. Overall, American Home Shield is pretty quick. The dishwasher claim has been kind of slow. But I know with the shortage of workers, it's taking a little time, but they are coming to complete the work on Monday. So I'm still satisfied with American Home Shield and they seem to be doing the best they can do. Since I've been dealing with them over the years, they seem to get the job done and they always have someone on hand that can do the job.

I have a refrigerator that needs to be repaired. It's been since January the 3rd and it has not been repaired. It's bad without having a refrigerator for that long length of time. Scott's Plumbing said I needed two new parts then they sent out for the parts. But now, they're saying they have not received them. I got a message from American Home Shield that it was sent on January the 13th. But when I called back, American Home Shield called them and they said that they never received it. American Home Shield has been excellent up until now. It's not their fault, it's the company that they chose to come out here to do the work but when I asked them if they could send another company, they said they're trying to resolve the issue with this company. For this long length of time, maybe they should have someone else to come out.

American Home Shield was very prompt about the garbage disposal that had a hole in the bottom of it and was leaking. They replaced it. The contractor, J&L Plumbing, neglected to hook up one hose which we found out after they left but when I called them, they came out on a weekend to make it right. I was very pleased with them. However, I've got another pending plumbing issue that I've been trying to get corrected for several months now and it still isn't corrected. The experience depends on who comes out to do the repairs but with J&L Plumbing, everything worked out very well.

I request service through the app. It's simple and self-explanatory. I don't like calling anybody because it takes too long for them to answer the phone. Then, a contractor comes out anywhere from two to three days. Recently, Discount Contractors were sent out for my toilet that stopped filling up in the back. They did the repair and the toilet is fixed.
But I paid for AHS to fix my doorbell back in September and the contractor that they sent never fixed my doorbell. They still haven't resolved that issue. They've closed the claim and to me, they’re stealing. I paid them to do something and they haven't provided the service. After this doorbell experience, I’m at the point where I’m gonna drop the warranty. Every year, the cost is going up. I just checked my bank statement and the price is almost $80 a month but they haven’t done $80 worth of work this year or last year.

We had lots of problems getting the garage door to open with the remote. It oftentimes did not work. When you're leaving the house, you want to be able to press the button, close the door and leave. And we didn't have that ability so we made the claim in. The company came and they were great. The work took about three hours from start to finish because they had to go and get a material. But they did it well and everything works fine. We are considering cutting our contract with American Home Shield though because they are not what they say.
We needed someone to come and check our dishwasher and the contractor said that they couldn't come until three weeks after. So we had to hire someone and pay to fix it. I canceled that claim. Then, it was a similar situation for a refrigerator and I canceled that but AHS still removed $100. This was more than two months ago and they are lucky that I haven't been bugging them daily because we got family members that were sick. AHS hasn't returned the $200 to our account.
When we called AHS, the person who answered was not knowledgeable with what they were doing. We asked what they would cover but they don't cover as many things. We've had a similar problem with our oil tank. We paid the oil tank company to do it. We have brand new appliances, so I don't see the point to require the service, and pay $100 every month plus $100 for every time that they're supposed to come. I have to be after them for them to come. The rep said they would put the money back tomorrow. This was three months ago. So their service is poor and the knowledge of the people probably could be great. One day, someone came to fix the washer. He said he was the plumber and I said that we called two months ago and that it was canceled. So there are professionalism, precision and organization.

I had a guy come out and he did a rekey. Amazing dude. He was chill. I had a good time doing that. Wasn’t boring, he kept the conversation going, showed me what to do. He helped me rekey it. Then I also had an electronic keypad. I asked him to do that. He went in, put that in. I paid him for it. Everything was situated. I made sure that that bill was paid on-site before he left.
They were also supposed to send somebody out to fix a window. There’s a $100 service fee. I had paid the service fee on-site. But they were trying to charge me again. AHS has have been doing well other than that. It might have been a simple mistake or somebody’s bad, either mine or theirs. They also called the day after the tech had done the rekey to ask how was that. I said, “He’s done fine. He was great. I loved him.”

There is NOTHING to like about this company! What I dislike most is the customer service, being lied to by their representatives on a daily basis, wait time for a service call, quality and competency of their contractors, ability to talk with someone who can speak English, the constant run around about a service request, the inability to cancel your contract without having to go through a maze of people trying to resell you on a failed business model, charging your credit card after they agreed not to, refunds that are non existent and the list goes on and on.
I do not recommend this company to anyone and if you choose to use them anyway I highly suggest staying away from autopay. Try getting your money back when a mistake happens! IT DOESN'T HAPPEN. What does happen is every excuse in the book. It seems like every time you call they are the victim held hostage by their own contractors who they say are incompetent. Why are they working for you in the first place? There is no accountability with AHS. It is always someone else's Fault. They are always like "I'm just a friendly dolphin who got caught in the tuna net!"
I apologize for the inconvenience we've caused. My name is Stacy and I will contact you about your unresolved concerns.

I'm waiting on a dryer repairman that was supposed to be here sometime today between the hours of 1:00 and 5:00. He's still not here and it's 6:04 PM our time. This is the second time that he had to come out to work on the dryer. He was out here last Friday and did some repair work. The dryer worked for a day then completely stopped working.
I also called AHS last week about a shower drip. It had been dripping, so I removed the showerhead to see if that was part of the problem. But I needed to replace the handle to the shower. So, I had taken that off just to see what it involved. When the plumber came out, he looked at it and reported to AHS that the handle had been removed. AHS then said that they wouldn't cover the repair because I had removed the handle from it even though that had nothing to do with the drip and I hadn't made anything worse. But somewhere in the policy there, if you've removed something, they're not going to cover it.
So then I rescheduled to pay out of my pocket for that plumber to come back and do what he needed to do. I waited all day yesterday for him and past the window of time he was supposed to be here. I called twice, too. I called earlier in the morning to make sure that he was in fact coming and they said he was. Then I called when it was five minutes before the end of the window then he called me back and said he wasn't going to be there, that there was a miscommunication. He said he was stuck on a job and that was at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. He said he could schedule me for Friday or Thursday.
So, I called American Home Shield and told them that I'd at least like my $75 back because the tech did nothing. But they were not going to give me $75 back because the tech came out and evaluated the issue. I ended up getting my own plumber and just paying out of pocket altogether. Fortunately, our contract ends in 30 days and we will not be renewing our warranty.
Aside from that, I called AHS to have our refrigerator worked on. They also checked out the dishwasher and our double ovens because all of them had issues. The repairperson came out that and he was very nice. He worked on all of them. He ordered the parts for the dishwasher and the double ovens. But he had pulled out the refrigerator then he had to defrost it and replace a part on it. When he left, he said it was good to go. He had pushed the refrigerator back and told us to let it sit overnight with the door open to finish defrosting. Then in the morning, we could plug it up and so forth. So I left it open and just put a fan on it to help the air circulate. Within a few hours after that, there was water pouring down. We're on the main level and on our lower level, there was water pouring down through a ceiling light.
So I called American Home Shield and they said they were sorry. They said they would contact the repairperson and he came back out. But nothing was done about it. He said he did his part and that there was more ice than the pan was going to handle, so it flooded. But I told him that he said it was going to be fine. I wouldn't have left that to flood down into the floor below. So, American Home Shield did nothing about that. Going through a third party repair network is just a nightmare, so I don't recommend it.

The lever that controls the faucet on and off broke and it came off. Draingo of Alabama came and put a new washer in. However, I had a lot of difficulty with the claims process, and the first difficulty was with the remote people who handled calls for AHS. The first four or five conversations were always looking for something that I did wrong and was not entitled to. It was never looking at it from the side of what happened. It stemmed from a charge that should not have been made. Then they wanted me to go to my bank for the $35 I was looking for, because they didn't get it, and they denied at first even getting the $100 that they shouldn't have gotten. It took me five or six calls, two or three days, to get to someone who called me back and satisfied me on the situation.
I would like to remind the general public to always look into the possibility of errors and omissions when dealing with companies like this, especially those who don't have a physical location. They just send people out that'll say anything to close the deal. Then when it comes down to performing, if they don't want to perform, they've got all kinds of loopholes and things that they didn't tell in small print, and it's up to us to read. So slow down, read and find out before you buy if you can get back in touch with that company. Do the same research in reverse. I went hook, line, and sinker for American Home Shield, which I thought was pretty good. But then when I realized I’m gonna pay $80 a month whether I have a problem or not, and then when I have a problem, I might have to pay another $100 on a problem that could’ve just been a $35 problem, it’s a catch-22.
I apologize for the inconvenience we've caused. My name is Stacy and I will contact you about your unresolved concerns.

So far, American Home Shield is a good company. Recently, the light on my microwave blew out. When I called, they told me that that wasn't covered. I called my electrician and asked what was going on. He told me what it was and I explained that to the Delta people, American Home Shield's contractor. They gave me the information that they needed, and I sent them a copy of the serial number. From the experience that I had when I talked with the individual from Delta, I was very pleased. They called me in a good timing. They told me that they were going to be coming out but I'm wondering why did American Home Shield get somebody way over in Monroe, Louisiana. I told them I would appreciate it if somebody would do something because I have a lamp that I have to use to cook with because I'm so used to the light up on the microwave. I didn't want to be supposed to be putting sugar in something and putting salt up in it because I couldn't see.

The burner didn't work and the oven door locked all the time. You couldn't open it up until you reset it. Also, the dishwasher had a problem but it was just a reset. It would’ve probably taken me a week to look up all the parts and try and find them, if I could. The guy from Austin Appliance put the order in before he left and he came to my house the next day. He was absolutely fantastic and a professional in every way. He wore a mask and I told it was alright because we’ve been vaccinated fully with booster shots. But it was his discretion to wear it while he was performing whatever maintenance he had to do. The actual appointment went very well. My daughter recommended American Home Shield because she has it and that was a good choice that we made. If people don't have it, they're missing out.

I’ve been a member of American Home Shield for a very long time. I was quite disappointed when they wanted me to pay $2,000 to get my air conditioner fixed. I could get one for about 5,000. I was a little bit shocked when they told me they weren’t gonna pay for the repairs. I went ahead and purchased it myself. I felt the tech wasn’t really knowledgeable of the job ‘cause he had to call somebody and ask them something. AHS should send out people that are more knowledgeable of the job.
They told me that if I cancel my membership at the time, they were going to penalize me for canceling early because it was two to three months before my renewal time was. I said, “Whatever. I’d just keep it.” But since that time, I used them again. My bathroom started running and Bestway Mechanical came out the next day to fix it. They replaced that.

We had a problem with the dryer. I've had nothing but problems with the appliance contractors up to the point that I'd made that call. The first company they gave me, because of the problems that we had had, made me immediately look them up online. I saw that our community had nothing but complaints about that company. I called AHS and said I didn't want that company. They sent us another one and I found the same problem. They're saying they have top-rated people but this is horrible. I said to their rep, “I'm gonna cancel this if we can't pick from the list somebody else.” And so, she tried again. We were given June Appliance. I looked them up and I couldn't find any reviews. I decided to go for it since none was better than bad and I was very happy with them. The guy was very nice and he was honest. He explained things that wouldn't be covered and he fixed the problem. It was a good experience.
It would be a lot easier if I would be able to click on American Home Shield's list of approved vendors in the area just like auto insurance. Customers should be able to look up reviews and find a company that looks reputable. I'm not able to do that until after I pay and I just get whatever AHS recommends. Because I've been having problems with people and paying money to have them come out seeing that others have had the same problem repeatedly. Then, if I have a problem with what happened, I have to pay more money at which point I could have gotten the issue fixed on my own.

My dishwasher wasn't cleaning properly. Legacy Appliance's tech came out and he pretty much let me know what happened. He said the sensor and something else had to be replaced and he had to order parts for it. It took two or three weeks for him to have to come back and everything's working fine. It's been pretty good with American Home Shield but if there were more options on who you'd like to perform the service, that would be a little more helpful.

I had American Home Shield send contractors out for my dryer and once for my dishwasher. When I wash the dishes, all the dishes were still wet. I set up an appointment online and the contractor came out and fixed it. Now my dishwasher works great. I've already told people they should have a home warranty. Like recently, my brand new, $3,000 Whirlpool refrigerator went out. And for some reason, the fan quit working. A contractor came out but they couldn't get a part for my refrigerator. It's probably a $50 part and it's on backorder with no ETA. So they replaced my refrigerator. It was delivered two days later, and it's the same if not a bit better than the one I had.

American Home Shield is good. I've had them before when I lived in Louisiana. Once I tell them I have a problem, they send somebody right out. Recently, the washer had a broken spin cycle. When the technician came out, he said it broke off the screws it was on and all the parts would’ve cost more than replacing the washer. But if I didn't check my email that said I needed to shop for a washing machine, I would have never known because nobody told me. I thought they were gonna get one and bring it. The idea of having to pick your own washer is kind of cool. However, the washer and dryer set we had was red and they don't have anything in red. My wife is upset because she doesn't want a mismatched washer and dryer. We're still looking.

I am happy with AHS so far. It's very comforting knowing that, if something breaks that's on that list that they gave me, I can call them and I know it's going to be repaired or replaced and I'm getting my money's worth. Recently, the tech that came was COVID-conscious. He had on his mask and I opened the doors for him just to be safe. He inspected the item, he said it needed parts. He was respectful and knowledgeable about what he was doing. What I said was going wrong with it, he saw what was going wrong with it. If I had to request them again, I would. They do what people want. You call somebody to come to fix something, they come out and they tell you whether or not they can fix it, which he thought he could fix it. But you look at it, it doesn't look like a really old microwave, but it was. He found out it would be more feasible to replace than to fix or repair. They're going to deliver the microwave tomorrow.

I called American Home Shield on Martin Luther King Day and it was a holiday, so I figured nobody would answer but their dispatch people called me that evening. They made an appointment to come out the next day and I was surprised that I was able to get an appointment for the following day. The technician who came out was great and super fast. He went above and beyond. He insulated the spigot for me and put zip ties around it, which is probably not expensive or not even a big deal but it was a big deal to me that he went above and beyond and did that for me. A month ago, we had a water problem. AHS sent out the techs and they fixed the problem. I was satisfied. At first, the contractor gave me a runaround. But I have reported it in and someone was supposed to call. They did call but I was at work, so the call bounced off. Then, the contractor texted me saying to let them know what day I wanted them to come. I did that but they never came. So, I had to call American Home Shield again to let them know about that. Then they found somebody else and it took maybe about three days to a week. They assigned somebody to me and that person called. Then I wanted it done on a Friday when I was off and it happened. So roughly speaking, it took about a week and a half to two weeks before somebody really came because the other contractor was cutting me off. When I called back, they never answered the phone.
The tech who came out was good. It took him about two days to finish the repair. He put a little snake thing through the kitchen pipe under the sink but that didn’t do it. And because he came so late, he had to come back the next day at about the same time. He went down to that main pipe in the basement with that little snake thing and that got it up. It was clogged up.

We also had a dishwasher replaced last year. Anytime we've had anything that's needed to be done, they’ve fixed it and replaced it for us if they couldn't fix it.
Our washer just broke this last month and AHS had the repairman out. The techs from Sears who came out were also very courteous and respectful. They wore their masks but I didn't ask them to. They were really efficient, too. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and had them delivered to my home, which was perfect because then I got the parts and they didn't get lost anywhere. I was waiting, but on the app instead it said I was supposed to contact them. I didn't hear back from anybody, so I called the vendor to schedule the appointment. Also, I initially thought that the whole process for American Home Shield was that they would give me some list of the companies that I could choose from. But I was given a name of the company to call instead of me choosing from a few options. Other than that, when the person came, he fixed the leak. It turned out to be a simple fix and he was explaining what happened as well as what he did.

We had a few different switches throughout the house that had quit working. We also had issues with a couple lights and with the garbage disposal. So, I put in a request with AHS to have an electrician come out. We scheduled an appointment, he showed up, and he was able to complete his work very quickly. Everything's working since then. The claims process has been pretty straightforward. You just have to log onto the site, let them know what's happening, wait for a follow up to schedule the appointment, and everything gets resolved. But the time when the tech actually comes out varies depending on the situation. If it's a plumbing or heating issue, I've experienced them coming out more quickly, just because those are things that need to be resolved more quickly. With this last one, we scheduled it about a week out. But it wasn't an emergency by any means, so it didn't have too much effect on us.

When something's not working, I call and American Home Shield would be right on it. A part on my heater was not working. AHS ordered a part for my furnace. A couple of months later down the road, I tried to keep the heater on because it got cold, but my heater was not staying on. It cut on and off. But we ended up having to cut it off because we didn't know what was going on. So, I called AHS and told them my heating was acting up still. But when they sent someone out, they thought it had something to do with what work was done before. So, this last time they came out, it was something different, which was my inducer. It was probably the furnace had gone bad. So, they had to order that. Now, I'm having no problems with my heat.
I asked for the guy a couple of times because he seemed to know what was going on with the unit. So, AHS always sent the same guy. He's professional. Every time we told him what the unit was doing, he would say, "Yeah, that's your inducer." He went down to look at it, checked it out, and sure enough, that was what it was. The people AHS send are knowledgeable with what they're doing and I like that.

After the toilet upfront would be flushed so many times, it would back up. Unlike when I was having problems with my stove last year, I could barely understand the young lady's English. She was sweet as she could be, but I had to keep getting her to repeat herself. But with this guy, it wasn't that hard. Now, I did have a little problem understanding the name of the contractor that he said was going to be contacting me. But he said, "And I'm going to text it to you and it's going to be in your email as well."
The tech that came out was real nice. I met him at the door and he didn't have a mask on. I had mine on and I keep masks at the door in a package for people that enter. So I said, "Excuse me. Do you mind putting on a mask because I suffer from underlying condition?" He said, "Oh, no, no. I don't mind." So I gave him a mask and he put it on. I explained to him what was going on with the toilet. He said he was gonna go out and get a tool and he'd be right back in. Then he came back in and did what he needed to do. He said he had to run a snake down there. It was quick and easy.
When I was having problems with my stove last year, American Home Shield kept giving me the runaround. They kept telling me one thing, but come to find out American Home Shield didn't submit something that was supposed to be submitted. That was why the part was never ordered for my stove. But he was back within an hour and fixed the heater. It was the right part because my furnace is working fine and has been, so far. The tech was friendly and professional. Do not get this “services” that when the case arrive they will not really service you. It happened to me. One and first call in four year of monthly payment: result “service not rendered.” Why? They do not service the brand “Kenmore”. How much it costed me? 4 year of payments + $125 service fee for the call + $1650 from my own pocket to replace the water heater + $45.90 to cancel contract with them - $604 cash out. You do the number and see how many water heater you could buy if you save that money.
Original: 1/27/2022 I have called AHS for service on my Water Heater. I was immediately charged $125 just for calling and diagnosing the problem. This one has stopped working. It has broken. I have called American Home Shield to fix the problem. 1/29/2022 the technician from TRIPLE S PLUMBING INC has come to diagnose the issue. He did not do any diagnostics and the reason, he has said, is that Kenmore has its own technicians so nothing could be done. I called a private company and they did the job to install a new water heater and I had to pay $1650 out of my own pocket.
I am now struggling to get at least some of my money back plus my $125. AHS said the $125 is not refundable. It's been a long day and nothing. Someone told me "good luck if you get something". I have been told by AHS Clerk that I will receive a phone call regarding of a cash out offer in 24 hours and 72 have passed and nothing. AHS is a good deal if you don't have money somewhere sitting around in order to do your repair. And the deductible is $100, which is reasonable. I also like that if the techs come out and fix your problem, then something else goes wrong with it within a short period of time, you can do a recall, and they'll send someone back out and check it again. And AHS doesn't charge you again for the $100 fee. Their customer service is not the greatest though as you have to really stay on them.
I've had a couple of claims with AHS and one of them was for the dishwasher situation that we had. That one was handled pretty well and in a timely manner. But the claim that we had for the washing machine ended up having to do a recall because something else was wrong on it. But they didn't charge me a second fee. Then I had a problem with the air conditioning unit and every time I called, I got a different story of how things were going to work. When the guy came in, he did an assessment and told me that he would report what he had found, but he did not report anything. A month later, I called AHS to see what they had decided to do. They said they had not gotten the report from the vendor that they used. So, they had to send someone else back out to inspect the same thing that he supposedly inspected.
The problem with the first vendor was that he was more interested in selling me a $9,000 new air conditioning unit than he was in fixing the one I had. So, as soon as he figured out that I was not going to go for that, he was out of there and he did not do his job. So, I had to wait and it was a month and a half before I was able to get someone else back out there to do the same thing that he did the first time which was to report his findings and for AHS to decide what they were going to do, whether they were going to repair or replace the AC.
They ended up deciding to repair it but I refused to let that first company come back out there. The second guy that came out from that same company said that he had come behind that person and had a lot of problems coming behind him. In the end, I chose to use a outside vendor and AHS they did a cash-out. But it took me a very long time to get my reimbursement. Aside from that, in our other house in Mobile, we had a problem with the refrigerator and it took a long time to get the parts. I realized that we're in the middle of COVID and all parts take a long time now. And I do realize that they depend on local vendors to troubleshoot. But they could do a better job of screening those vendors. But the last vendor that I had, Economy Appliances, was excellent.

I had the garbage disposal replaced and the claims process was easy. The contractor that AHS sent out was very professional and overall, the warranty saves me money. But people should be coming out sooner and we had to wait. Recently, my microwave stopped heating, so I went to file a claim and it was going to be almost a week before the techs would come out to look at it. So I canceled that and I just went and bought a new microwave.

The dishwasher wasn't working properly. We tried a few things, and it wasn't draining. The water accumulated at the bottom. We called, put in the request for the contractor to come out. The response time is good. I like the ease of being able to schedule and get updates online. The house is far out in a secluded community or city. And I noticed they don't utilize people local. So I thought it may take some time to get scheduled. But so far, it has been fine. The tech came out and assessed it, and found that it was just clogged. So, it just needed some TLC. The biggest thing is American Home Shield already has companies that can come for whatever appliance. That they will connect me to the proper company that have already been vetted through them, and not to worry about quality of work, or whether they're a legitimate company. I would recommend AHS.

American Home Shield has a reputation for bringing on low cost contractors to do the job. At least in my neighborhood, they're not very well-received. I had an AC issue a while back, which I called AHS out for. The coverage on the Freon needed to be put into the AC was awful. I spent the whole money out of my pocket. On the other hand, the coverage was okay for my electrical claim. I had an outlet in my kitchen which wasn't working, and it was painless working with American Home Shield on that. I just went online, submitted the ticket, paid the money, then Wisdom Electric showed up.
The guy who came out was really professional and did a quick job. From the date I opened the ticket to the date he arrived, it took longer because we had a COVID case in the house. I spoke to Wisdom Electric and told them not to come out during the time we were in quarantine. After we were out of quarantine, I called back, and they came within two business days after that.

My dryer quit and the tech checked it. He thought he could replace three parts that were needed. But AHS sent one part that was wrong and the tech said he could not get the right part because my dryer was so old. I'm supposed to be getting a replacement. I also had another problem that I didn't know I had. My hot water heater went out. A fella came and he wasn't able to get a lowboy gas heater. So I'm having to do a lot of extra work in my utility room where my heater is, like cutting shelves out to make room for a tall heater. But the heater is covered under my warranty and I appreciate that. The only problem I have is I'm having to pay to have the shelving cut out. The tech is telling me that because my heater was so old, I have to do some updating, like new detectors and those have to be attached to the wall. There's a $510 charge on replacing stuff.
I'm comfortable with American Home Shield's techs. So far, everybody's been really conscientious. They identify themselves and they have the name of their company on their vehicle. AHS is a plus to have. They are quick to act and I'm very pleased with them. The reps are very nice and pleasant when I call. They have very qualified people.

We washed some clothes and water leaked from underneath the washer. It's those stackables. Someone came, did what he needed to do, and checked things thoroughly. He thought that because we were using too much concentrate, the suds were leaking or that the drain was draining slowly. Other than that, the guy did a good job and we haven't had any trouble since. I'm washing clothes like crazy now as I have to catch up.
American Home Shield's process makes things easy 'cause you're not shopping around or worried that somebody is gonna rip you off or not show up. I've been happy with it. The only thing I'm not happy about is when we had our disposal replaced. When a lady called, I told her it was a half horsepower disposal. They replaced it with a third horsepower so made it even weaker.

My sump pump wasn’t working and the first time, the repair guys thought it needed to be rotated because the float was caught under something. I submitted the original claim online and then, I called the second time. I did it after Continental US hours so it was outsourced to a different country and that was a little bit more difficult. The reps were nice and tried to help me as much as they can although the accent was a little bit harder to understand. But it was fine. There was a little bit of a wait but not too bad. The repair people were professional. They wore masks and cleaned their shoes before they came in the house. It wasn’t like the first time that they tried to do something they thought was correct, but it ended up being something else, which is normal in those situations. They ended up having to completely replace the sump pump.
A warranty is like an extra layer of protection. The person had to come out twice and I only had to do the one-time service fee, as opposed to the cost of a new sump pump or the initial visit of them coming and then the sump pump and then other fees associated with it. I like American Home Shield and I’m glad we made that investment when we bought our house. We’ve had them for two years and we've used it a lot. I took off the appliance portion of it and my husband asked why we did that, and we had to replace a dishwasher. So I'm adding it back when our contract expires. AHS has been great. They've reimbursed us twice with no hassle, very quickly and perfectly.

So far, the experience has been pretty good. I might consider using American Home Shield more frequently to other places as well. The claim process is good. However, sometimes the contractors have to come twice to diagnose something. If something is wrong, whoever comes at the very first visit should be able to diagnose it instead of me needing to get someone else come which is another deductible. If they're not able to resolve it, they should say they won't charge you the deductible, but they will send someone else to take a look at it and charge the deductible. That's the fair way of doing it.

We had the HVAC person come out and I was happy with that. We also had someone come out for a dishwasher and I wasn't happy with that because on the 31st day, something messed up. He said that it if something happened within 30 days, he'd come back out and fix it under the same thing. I knew it was the exact same thing, but policies are policies and one day over is one day over. It kind of irked me a little bit.
Other than that, when I have a claim, AHS has an online portal that I use and usually, the tech comes out within a week after I submitted my claim. Recently, my lights started doing this weird flickering thing. So, I figured something crazy was going on. I'm not an electrician so I turned off the light, plugged everything that was in the room, and tried to flip the light on again. It kept doing it, so I turned it off, went down to the panel, and looked. Everything looked fine. I tried to smell to make sure nothing was burning, then I told my wife to not mess with the lights and don't plug anything in. I told her we had a home warranty, so I was going to make a call on the home warranty.
When the tech came out, all he did was take this little instrument and plug it into the socket. He said that we got low voltage and that it reading 30 volts when it was supposed to be at 120. I asked him what could cause that and he said it could be incredibly different things but it seemed like due to the age of my house, it was most likely the wire. But he didn't fix the problem. I then got a email from AHS saying that I needed to call this number to discuss my warranty package in relation to the service call. So I gave them a call and the lady told me that they weren't going to fix it because it was an overloaded circuit. I then went and grabbed my iPad so that I could start recording the conversation.
I asked her to explain it to me again and while she was explaining to me, I looked up on Google. It said that an overloaded circuit was something caused when you had a bunch of stuff plugged in. I told her that that didn't make any sense because my lights were flickering and everything plugged in worked. And when I unplugged everything, the lights kept flickering. The lady said that that did seem weird and that what I was saying made sense.
So I told her that I wanted a second opinion because I didn't agree with that assessment. I told her I'd just pay to get a second opinion. But she said I didn't have to do that and that part of their program was that they'd send out a technician for me at no cost, unless they find that it was the same issue. I asked how much would it cost me and she said my deductible. I then told her that if they came back with the same thing, I was going to hire a third one that didn't have anything to do with AHS or me and pay them to come give me an assessment. Because I needed to know what was going on with my house. I was also telling her what the websites were saying so they could look it up themselves. I know how insurance works and that sometimes, claims get denied because the company doesn’t want to make the payments. And sometimes, they deny on the account that most people probably won't fight them on it so they won't have to pay for it.
Me on other hand, I got money to get paid to get it fixed. But if I get it fixed and it's not what they said it was, I'm going to sue them and get my money back. So today, I'm just waiting for the guy to come out, take a look at it, and let me know what the problem is. And with this guy, I'm going to ask him to personally send me the same report that he's going to send to AHS. After I thought about it, the lady said that the report said that a circuit needed to be added. But the tech that was here initially didn't use the word, “added.” He used the word, “replaced.” There's a big difference between added and replaced.
But I appreciate that AHS allowed me to have a second opinion, although I was going to get one anyway. I'm really happy with the fact that he called me yesterday and he's going to be out here by noon today. It's wintertime and although my house ain’t terribly cold, my wife’s been sleeping downstairs because she likes to use the heated blankets and I told her I don't want her using the plugs as they're messing with the lights.
I apologize for the inconvenience we've caused. My name is Stacy and I will contact you about your unresolved concerns.

So far the customer support has been okay, until this last order that we did that I don't feel the company supported me. It was for a microwave repair. We called American Home Shield, they said that they would contract GE Appliances to come. We made the appointment. Because they had to have somebody here at home, my son stayed that day to wait for the technician. The technician never came, called my son at noon saying that he was late, and he didn't go anywhere waiting for him. And there was a tracking on the phone regarding him arriving or not. In there, he said that he was here at 1:30 and my son was waiting for him. My son and I called him, but he never answered back. So, my son called GE Appliances and asked, but they never came. And when we put an order through AHS, they immediately charged $75.
We called the company, they made another appointment. The person finally came, they charged us $110. So, we said, "That was through AHS, our home insurance." And they said, "No, you called us and we came." I said, "You charge American Shield $75, and now you're charging us 110," which we paid. So, we called AHS to complain and they said, "Okay, we'll give you back the $75." I the problem was still there. So, they said, "Okay, you have to make the claim again." "Keep your $75 and fix my problem. They already did diagnosis, just call them and just fix the problem." They said that the microwave needed to be changed. It's not repairable. So, we're in the air. They said they would call the company and I would receive a call. I called AHS back today to know what it is and they said that I have to call back in scheduled hours so they could call the company. So, I was really disappointed.
There was one time years ago about the air conditioning. But usually contractors come and fix the problem. And one time, the ice maker machine was broken, so AHS took care of that. But now we don't have a microwave for three weeks and now I know how important it is. I have to heat everything on the pan. I felt like it was my fault calling directly the company. I told that to the representative. "Look, they never came, so we called back. We never chose them. It was AHS who chose that company." And if I want to blame somebody, it will be the company because they knew they never came, AHS pays them, and they still showed up because we called them. I will blame a lot to that company because they were not honest.

Submitting claims to American Home Shield is pretty simple. It gets a little more complicated once you get assigned to a specific vendor. Within 24 hours, you usually see one. My latest experience was okay. I was trying to get my heat back on and it took about a month. That's not much on American Shield but more with the vendor that I was working with. American Home Shield should get better vendors. I read the reviews of the vendors that I've been getting lately and they're between 1 and 2 stars. When getting a warranty, read the reviews and be as educated as possible when going into these situations to know who's ordering parts, what approvals are needed, and the timeline of when the job can be completed. I made another claim when the elements within the dryer weren't heating up. I'm waiting for the parts to come in.

The service has been okay. The last time, I was having problems with two refrigerators. The techs did a virtual thing and I told them a refrigerator was making noise and freezing whatever I had on the top shelf. I wanted them to look at that but they said that the company wouldn't let them look at that. They only wanted to look at the refrigerator in the basement. But I’m paying $120 and I have two problems and I wanted both of my problems taken a look at.
The guy said they would come here to look at it. When the guy came with the parts for that refrigerator, he told me that he didn't even have that on their sheet. They had the one refrigerator. The tech diagnosed the refrigerator and he told us where the noise was coming from. I had told him that I thought the issue was the fresh flow vent but he said the noise was coming from someplace else. But, they could have taken care of both my refrigerators at the same time.
AHS has been helpful. The first time I had them come out, I didn't think they would cover it and so when I called and they covered it, I was really happy. Also, I was having problems with my kitchen sink getting stopped up and in our basement, the water heater was out. They took care of that.

When I was programming the remotes on my own, it looked like I hit it too many times in a row. The big garage had gone up and down too many times in a row and it overwhelmed the system and blew a capacitor. So, I looked up the issue online beforehand and assumed what the issue was. But since I had the warranty, I figured I would call it in, have them come take a look, and have a professional tell me exactly what I did. So, while he was out there himself, he was very good in terms of how he handled it. When he looked at it, he told me what the issue was and why it happened, which kind of confirmed what I was doing.
He also made sure that the garage door worked after the fact and just by looking at it, he saw that whoever installed the garage, it looked like screws had come loose on a different part. So, he was able to put two screws and had them weld up to fix the bracketing so they wouldn't mess up the garage door itself. When I was speaking to him, he said that one of the problems that he runs into is people don't read the warranties. They'll come out and think that their garage door is broken but the contract very specifically says that it'll cover the garage door motor, but it won't cover the entire system.
Other than that, the warranty protects you on the bigger things that you might be worried about when you're buying a home and I haven't had any issues with AHS so far. I used them first for the rekeying service, which cost $100 for the person to come out and rekey the locks, which he was able to do with no issues. The second time I used them was for the garage door. Both techs were very professional and timely. I also had good conversations with them where they gave me a little bit of their insight into what they were doing on their job and how they were doing it.

AHS is reasonably good at handling stuff. Overall, I may come close to breaking even with them and I have that protection in case something goes really astray. We had a problem with the spa heater recently. It wasn't heating. ABNation is normally very good. In fact, they are the best provider that AHS had ever sent to me. They've been coming for a number of years now. They had some personnel issues, so it took them a little bit longer than usual to get out here and take care of it. But they did and they kept me informed. It's COVID times. Nothing happens like it used to. They took a couple of trips, but they got it up and running.
I had a water heater issue three years ago. It was gonna take 10 days for somebody to come and replace my water heater. That was not gonna fly here if you’re gonna bathe using boiled water for 10 days. So, I had to go do it myself. But they reimbursed me for a reasonable portion of it. AHS is good for things that are non-emergency. When it's an emergency, I would not recommend them. If you have a lot of things, like spa, pool pumps and if it goes bad, and you got to wait a couple of days, that's fine. Like washer and dryer too, ‘cause you can do without those for a couple of days. But things like a water heater or air-conditioner, it's useless, because it takes them too long to get anything done.

The heater wasn't coming on when the temperature outside was really cold. I went to American Home Shield’s portal and opened up the claim. It was pretty easy once I found the claim. Then they said a contractor was assigned to my claim and they sent me a text. American Home Shield's willingness to help is strong and it was good. But the incident happened again and we were without heat for two days. So I reopened up the claim and the contractor came back out the next day. But it started working again once the temperature in the house got above 60 degrees. When I was out-of-town, my wife called me and said that the heat had been out for a couple of days. So I came back and started the fire in the fireplace and then I put some portable heaters all around the house. The inside temperature of the house got to a certain temperature, and then the heater started working about 10 that night.
I called the contractor and said, “Hey, guys, the heat came back on. And I know it's easier to diagnose when the things are broken, but I just wanted you to check it out to make sure that it doesn't happen again when it gets cold out.” So they came back out and checked it out. Since they came out initially, the temperatures in the house upstairs and downstairs have been considerably different.
So two things have happened. Number one, we had a damper switch that they initially said wasn't working and then they disconnected it. While they were here, they installed a Google Nest for me, which I paid $100 for them to install the thermostat. So I wasn't sure if it was the thermostat or if it was the damper switch that was the problem. I called them back out to reconnect the damper switch as it was before and we're still having a temperature difference between the upstairs and downstairs. The owner of the company called me yesterday and they were supposed to come out again today.
Sometimes, the vendors try to upsell stuff. They're trying to fix stuff, but they're trying to make side money. But they're fine. They don't really push it too hard, but they're like, “This is what you can do.” When my garage door was busted, the contractor came out and replaced the engine for it. But while they were here, they said that I needed to have less resistance on my rollers. So I upgraded the rollers to nylon wields rollers. But it was my choice to upgrade my rollers or not.
Overall, my experience with American Home Shield has been really good. Everything has been great so far. It's been really nice to have the assurance of having somebody being able to come out and check things out, especially when I'm out-of-town with my wife. I really enjoy the service. Then they told me to hire my own person to do the repair and then they would reimburse me because it was a complete stoppage of my toilets, and the shower. So I did that but they refused to pay for it saying that they didn't authorize it because I had nothing in writing. I ended up having to pay over $2,000 for the repair work.

The gentleman who did our garage door was nice and knew what he was doing. He fixed the door in a short time, and I gave a good review. For the most part, I'm enjoying American Home Shield's service. Although, over the Christmas holidays, we had trouble with the dryer. They sent two people out, and both people didn't know what they were doing, and they did not fix the dryer. They put a new drum in, said, "That's what the problem was," but I still have the same problem. American Home Shield emailed how the service was, and I gave them a bad review. They weren't that professional and they weren't in the least bit friendly. The last guy that came over and put in the drum, when I told him the same problem, he said, "Well, all dryers do that. In Nov 2021, I report to AHS that my Thermador range (48 inches 6 burner with a griddle and double oven) was not working. The company sent by AHS, did a diagnostic over the phone. The two techs ordered parts for the range. The parts finally arrived in Jan 2022. They ordered the wrong parts. They order different parts and those parts didn’t repair the range. The two techs came out twice and the range was not repaired. They couldn’t come up with a solution to fix the range and referred me to a third technician. That technician ordered more parts…. Still no repair. The third technician offered one-third of the value of the range. I cannot replace my range for one-third of the value.
AHS promises to make repairs and they haven’t provided a reputable company to repair my range. I have been without a working range for almost four months. I have expended large amounts of money on eating out instead of being able to prepare meals at home. AHS should stand by its contract and partner with companies that can actually make repairs instead of playing a guessing game. Stay far away from this company if you need actual repairs! I will be seeking legal action for the repair that should be repaired by AHS. If possible, I would rate AHS zero stars.

I have so much to say about this company and the lack of customer service they provide and how unprofessional the whole company is. However if you check out their Twitter account that alone will SHOW you how horrible they are and the mass frustration they cause on a wide range. Instead of taking 1 persons experience check out hundreds.
I certainly hate to hear that you have received less than satisfactory service & I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for sharing your feedback. Have a great week.

American Home Shield is living up to their end of the contract. If I have an issue that's covered, I call in and they address it always to my satisfaction. So, I've been very happy with it. I had to get the furnace repaired a couple of times in the past several years and I had to get a water heater replaced about a month ago. Also, I had to get a pool pump replaced and I had other miscellaneous items. The contractors are generally local and always know what they’re doing. I don't have to show them how to fix something, which is nice, and they show up at the day and time they say they're going to.

I read a bunch that fine print says it all. There's a lot of them that there was so much fine print, like loopholes in there to get the coverage providers an out to say something was crazy and they didn't want to pay it, whereas American Home Shield was straightforward and basic in the contract itself. I'm glad I went with them. Everything has been fair. I used them twice right after I got the house. Even my out of pocket stuff.
I went on the website and there was a little caveat at the beginning. They haven't had my coverage fully linked until I called them. I could see my account, but it wasn't active on the website for some reason. But they were nice and got it fixed quickly. It took five minutes on the website to submit the request. The drywall stuff was the one thing that sucked. But they wanted to offer a flat rate of $160 for drywall work. I said no. So, they covered the roughing and still cost me 700 bucks for the drywall company to finish this little patch. But that was just because AHS didn't have any reputable drywall companies here.

American Home Shield's service doesn't pay for enough stuff. They got me in a platinum plan and it says that this and that are covered. I call them to say my appliance has gone wrong, they send a technician out, and all of a sudden, it's not covered. If it's something that's not real hard to fix, they'll fix it for that little 75 bucks. But if it's something that's gonna be expensive or needs to be replaced, good luck.

The techs from Honestly Mechanical came out and they claimed to have cleaned the heat pump. Then, the heat went off the same evening that they were here and that was on a Friday night. But they don't come back during the weekend, which I found strange if they contract for heating and cooling. So, I made several calls to American Home Shield and complained about this. With the last call I made, I was confused when the person wanted me to call back in four hours. I was supposed to find my own contractor, and if I did, then I was supposed to call back and say I did. Consequently, I didn't do anything. I was confused with why I had to search out my own contractor. That would be a problem because they would want to get paid. I was told that American Auto Shield would reimburse me any money I had to put out but I wasn't going that route.
Then, American Home Shield called me and told me on Monday that a technician would from Comfort Cooling Air & Heating was coming out. When he came, he asked me if the techs from Honesty Mechanical went up in the attic and I told him that they didn't. So, he went up in the attic and found nothing wrong there. But when he checked the heat pump outside, he said no one had cleaned that as Honestly had claimed. Then this morning, when I got up, the heat wasn't on and it was getting a bit chilly in here. In between the heat being off and on, I called Comfort Heating & Cooling again because they told me I could. Someone is supposed to come out tomorrow between 8:00 and 10:00 and look at the system again.

I had a claim with American Home Shield and even if we give the technicians permission, they were not allowed to create an inspection hole in a wall to be able to find the leak. They got out there and said, “We need another contractor to come out here and create a hole for us so we can see what's going on.” That's standard with some plumbers. It's just now, we gotta have them go out there twice and coordinate everything twice. It’s more time for the client waiting on a repair and being without service. It's usually a delay of several days. Another thing with this home warranty is service companies would say they would be there between 8:00 and noon so we're supposed to stay home half the day waiting for that. That's frustrating with a lot of different service companies. It would be much better if they could narrow that window down to an hour, at least.

The air had stopped working and so did the heat. A tech with Beaches Air came and he was very professional. He made sure that I understood what was going on and tried to be helpful because we were about to get some cold weather. He had to make sure I had heat. The compressor motor of my unit that was outside had gone bad. Beaches Air came to me last year too. Every year, something goes with that AC and I was getting frustrated. This time, the part had to be ordered and the tech came back within that same week, Friday, and changed it. Everything appears to be going good now. The unit was working fine this weekend when we really had a cold.
I thought after so many times that American Home Shield will look into doing what they have to do. For the last four years, I have been having issues with this AC and I voiced that to American Home Shield. I never heard anything back and they just sent out a contractor. It ended up being a lot out of my pocket. One time, they said there was a leak and I had to pay for Freon because that's not covered. That's my frustration.
I was blessed in this time because for the last two years, I had the same contractor. I had different contractors that American Home Shield sent out before. Another issue I have is the wait time when calling in to report something. But that is much better now than in the past. Another thing is, American Home Shield's $75 is steep.

When I had air leak in my pool plumbing system, we put in a service request through the app and it was convenient and quick. I got very frustrated and went back to American Home Shield for a little reliability in their coverage.
I've had good experiences so far booking online. My difficulty with that process though is if my washer and dryer are both on the front, it only allows me to select one appliance and I have to pay a separate service fee when I need the same repairman here for two different appliances at the same time. The heating unit wasn't working. When it happened, it was when we had extremely cold weather. It was an emergency situation. When I initially called American Home Shield, they said, “Okay, we’re gonna contact one of our contractors.” I said, “How quickly will they do it?” I found out the name of them, so I called the Clifton company. They said, “We have to wait to get the green light from American Home Shield.” It all happened in a day. So, I was certainly happy with them. The tech was out the next day. In about five minutes, the tech diagnosed exactly what the problem was and fixed it. It was perfect.
I had AHS a couple of years ago, and then I went with a different provider. And that was a mistake. So I went back to American Home Shield. AHS is reliable. The contractors that show up know what to do, as well. As far as the pricing, we’ll see what they come back with this year. The reason why I originally left them was that they almost doubled the premium. Then when I talked to them, I said it was ridiculous. So I went with a different agency. But then they called me back and said, “We would have reduced it.” I said, “How are you supposed to know that?” But I guess now, I’ll know what to do. If they try that trick again, I’ll leave.

The first time I called American Home Shield about a plumbing issue, I told the man that my sink was stopped up and the pipes were leaking. I made the deposit payment. The plumber that came said that they don't do the unclogging of the drain because the clog had grease in it. They don't supply the water valve. I ended up getting the sink going.
When the plumber was there, he asked about the pipes so I knew he knew the pipe was leaking. If he wasn't gonna do the rest of the sink, he shoulda just done the pipes. That was what he came for. But he didn't fix anything. I had a problem I wanted to look at too. Where my washer drains out, the water goes really fast. It overfloods. I wanted him to check that pipe to see if it was stopped up there. I just called back to have someone fix the pipe. I have a bucket in the basement under my sink. I made the appointment a day for the plumber to come back and I haven't heard anything yet.
I’ve been with American Home Shield a long time and I don't have a problem with them. Their representatives do a good job. It's just the people that come and do the job. American Home Shield needs more people to choose from. There's only one plumber they can choose from. Other than that, I've already told some people about American Home Shield.

So far, I've had a good experience with American Home Shield. I love the website and being able to go on there. Recently, a plumber came out the next day that I filed a claim for a backed-up shower drain. He did a good job. One is always worried that when a vendor comes out, there's no telling how big the bill’s gonna be. But I like the peace of mind that American Home Shield got a cap on some of the maintenance repair. Somebody as big as American Home Shield that is negotiating price for me as opposed to doing it myself is a big deal. It keeps the vendor honest.
The only thing that I've had trouble with was there was one occasion where a vendor came out and the claim was not covered, but I was still charged the 125 fee even though I still had to pay out of pocket for the vendor. I pay the deductible before a vendor actually comes out and I would rather pay it after I know that it's gonna be covered by American Home Shield. Also, in every case that I've used them, I've had to reach out to the vendor. It would be nice that the vendor got my information and called me to set up the appointment so that I know. Them being more proactive would be good.

Pipe Down Services was sent out for a claim I had and they were really nice. But they price-gouged on a couple of things, which was why I chose not to go with them. For an example, to pull a permit with my city would be $75 but they were charging 225, which is outrageous. Considering I'm not a part of the city, they were not willing to refund that. If I had gotten with them and like other companies that I've worked with in the past, they will pull the permit. If they don't need a permit, they'll give me my money back.
The technician called American Home Shield initially and said, “I need the information for the denial so I can tell the customer how much they're gonna charge her. And then I need the cash out if she decides to do cash-out.” Based on that technician’s experience, they usually get that information on the phone on speaker with the customer next to them. The guy that the technician talked to was very nice and courteous. However, he refused to give the information over the phone and said they had a process and that it was gonna take 24 hours. The technician let him know that was not how it works and that they always give him the information so that we could decide if we were moving forward.
I had an emergency situation. I had gushing water coming out of my hot water heater that could not be turned off, unless I turned off the entire house of water. I didn't have 24 to 48 hours to sit and wait. The guy told the technician, “Oh, well, they'll call you back shortly. They're working on your claim now.” The technician got a message and he called American Home Shield back. They told him the denials and that that they wouldn't tell them cash-out. He got an approximate estimate of the denials and how much it would cost. After that, the representative said, “We'll just call back in an hour or two, and we should have the cash-out.”
The technician had to move on. It's not like he could just sit here and wait an hour. He said he had done everything. I called back in an hour and was told, I wouldn't have the cash-out. It was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I called back around 4:00-ish. At the end of the conversation, the lady said to me, “Oh, as soon as you hang up the phone, they're gonna call you with the cash-out price or cash-out information.” 5:45 comes around and I still hadn't gotten a phone call. I called back and I was on fire. The lady was like, “Oh, no. You have to wait 24 to 48 hours. I can't transfer you anybody. I can't let you talk to a supervisor ‘cause that's not allowed.”
I had been on the phone with four different people and they all told me the wrong information. Now, the rep was telling me something totally different. I was maxed out and I was done. I raised my voice. I probably should have handled it better, but I was so mad. She just kept saying the same thing over and over. I told her she was not listening to me and that I wanted to talk to a supervisor. She said, “Well, ma’am, I can't do that. I have to put in a claim for you to be able to talk to a supervisor. And it'll take 24 to 48 hours for them to call you back.” In the past, a supervisor would just get on the phone when asked for them.
I ended up being on the phone with her till almost 8 o'clock as we were going back and forth about this. I finally said, “Listen to me. I'm gonna ask you one more time. Transfer me to a department that can give me assistance, because you are not giving me any assistance.” She transferred me to this survey on how the call went and hung up on me. To top it off, I did the survey and I put 1 for everything. The next day, I waited 24 hours then I called back. I talked to the lady and she said, “It says here that you hung up on the call yesterday and that the agent wasn't allowed or wasn't able to service you any further.” I busted a scene and told her I wanted to talk to a supervisor. She she could do that and that I didn't need a claim.
A supervisor got on the phone. I said, “Look, I am pretty patient. I can deal with the fact that I'm paying out the wazoo for my water to be pouring out of my hot water heater right now. And then it has been for a day and a half now. What I can't deal with is liars. I did not hang up on that phone call last night. And there is proof in your system that I didn't. You can listen to the call. You can listen to the survey information that I left, because if I had hung up, there's no way I could have completed a survey on that call.” This was not the first time I've been lied to by this company.
The supervisor was nice enough. She was she would get the information for me before we got off the phone. She got the cash-out information for me before we got off the phone. But I had already decided at that point that I was gonna go with another company because I was so mad. I didn't wanna deal with Home Shield anymore. It’s frustrating and it was ridiculous.
I called first thing Monday morning and said I was just gonna do the cash-out. I already had the hot water heater repaired and fixed by another company that did my AC. I had the similar issue with my AC and I ended up doing the cash-out. The technician came out to fix my AC and he got it up and running. I asked if he was gonna check up in the attic to make sure all the parts are good and he said it as running. It's fine. I said, “No. That's not how it works. Just ‘cause you fixed one thing doesn’t mean you fixed the whole thing." He said they were not technically allowed by American Home Shield to look at anything further once the problem was fixed. I asked how he would know if the problem was fixed. He said it was because it was working. He then left.
15 minutes on the nose, my complete AC went kaput. I called the technician and asked him to come back. He had to do the service call correctly. It was 5:30 in the afternoon. He said he couldn't do anything until American Home Shield processed his results from when he was just out there. It takes them 48 to 72 hours to process the information he just submitted before he could do anything. I called American Home Shield and told them they needed to get the technician back out here. They said they would have to wait for the claim to come in. I had no AC for three weeks in September. It was ridiculous. American Home Shield needs somebody to say, “Hey, this is what your payout is. This is what your cash-out is.” And it all needs to be done in the same day so a person can make a decision.
My situation was pressing because sitting in a 90-degree house after having surgery and trying to recover is not fun. American Home Shield is not paying a hotel bill. My problem is everything is 24 to 48 hours or 48 to 72 hours with them. Nothing to them is considered an emergency, so they won't bypass anything to be able to expedite a call. I don't recommend American Home Shield to anybody. My overall experience was awful and it happened to me twice.

I told them what was going on. They told me things that I could try. But I was driving at the time, so I couldn't do any of the things they were instructing me to do. They instructed me to call a particular number back to talk to someone so they can give the technician that was coming out an idea what to expect when they come in and to make sure they had the proper parts.

They said, “Okay, we'll make sure that they have the specific parts.” So we scheduled an early appointment between 7:00 and 11:00. The technician got there between 8:00 and 9:00. When he got there, he started asking questions. That gave me the impression that he did not get any of the information that I had imparted to the person I talked to on the phone. He said that was common that they would not know what the issues were when they got to the site.
The technician determined what the issue was and he said he did not have that part. But the person I talked to on the phone assured me and said the technicians have the parts in their van or vehicle. The technician said, no, it wasn't and he had to come back. But he was extremely friendly and very professional. I liked him a lot. He said it was a five-minute job if he had the part. He also said that he can just order the part and then we could schedule another time. I told him, “Nah, I kind of want to get it done.” So we made arrangements for that day. He said, with the other appointments he had, he could get the part and he could be back early evening that same day, which he did. He called ahead just like he did when he came that morning. It literally was a less than five-minute job. He knocked it out and fixed it. He was excellent.

The heater stopped working and it wouldn't blow. I went to do a claim on the website of AHS and their website was nice. It didn't have a lot of detail, but I understand that. Then they sent me the name of the business that was coming out and their telephone number. The contractor's service was swift and thorough. Plus, my heater has been working well since the service. All in all, AHS' service for maintenance is good. But when I had to deal with a replacement in the past, it was absolutely horrendous how long it took. There was some communication lapse between all the different people that were dealt with behind the scenes, they didn't deliver my replacement one time, and it was six months later that I got it.

We had to have a new heat pump installed, which is a combination of air conditioner and heating unit. American Home Shield was involved in that and we were really pleased with the service. They put together a package for us. I shopped other places on that as well and though it wasn't a huge savings, it was a savings over if I had gone to another place. Also, Mitchell's had been out here before and we really liked them. We've replaced most of our appliances but even though we have warranties on those, we're gonna keep American Home Shield for things down the line.

The technicians I dealt with are very qualified and knowledgeable. I've called for the plumbing in the toilet and for the hot water heater, and the techs that came were both excellent. As far as submitting claims to American Home Shield, I just call the number and try to coordinate a schedule. The only thing is you can’t have an emergency situation where the technician would come out in a matter of hours instead of days.

The dishwasher stopped working and I called American Home Shield. Bradley has been here before. He was here last year. And he's got this gal, Laura, that calls right away and makes an appointment for us and calls us the day before and tells us he's coming next day. And I get text messages and tells us how far away he is. And Bradley is a really nice guy. He came, looked at it, figured out what was wrong with it, and told me we needed two parts and he would order them. Laura called the next day to tell me the parts were ordered, and eight days later, they came back and fixed it. It's working fine. I would recommend you get a warranty. It makes life easy when you got a problem. You can just call AHS and somebody will come out rather than you trying to look in the yellow pages or call people for reference. Just call them. So far, the network of contractors has been really good. They're on time, courteous, explain everything to me.
Thanks for reaching out to provide that feedback. I am glad the contractors followed through with the appointment that was set but happier for you that your issue has been resolved.

American Home Shield has been good to us in the past. We're paying a lot of money for it, but it's that peace of mind thing where we're just not sure what's going to break down, and so we've kept it all these years. We've had our air conditioning serviced and there were certain things that the air conditioning people would try to upsell us on, and it was additional cost, and it made us uncomfortable from time to time when it comes to that. They have come through for us.
Recently, the dishwasher wasn't running and it was throwing an error code that we weren't familiar with. When my husband looked up the error code, it gave all kinds of different reasons it could be, so he didn't want to mess with it. He submitted an online request then the company called and set the appointment. The lady that handled the phone call was a bit sharp. But the person who actually came out and serviced our dishwasher was fabulous. After he diagnosed it, he found out what part he needed. He walked out to his truck and he happened to have one. He pulled the dishwasher out and replaced the part and we were all set.

They told me to contact Plumb Genius. I did and set up an appointment. I received a text from the Plumb Genius and they gave the gentleman's name and that he would be by shortly. He was prompt, professional, courteous and kind. He removed the defective garbage disposal and had the new one installed in under 10 minutes. It solved the problem and I had no issues after that. AHS is something that I’d recommend. I've used the service twice and I'm more than satisfied with the results. I've had two requests. One was rekeying the house, which the gentleman came in, and knocked it out really quick. The second one I had was about the dishwasher in the house that was not properly secured. AHS sent a fellow over to take a look at it. He said that apparently, the homeowners swapped out countertops, and so there was no way that he could secure it in place. He said somebody else may have a solution to this, but he didn't, so Home Shield should be getting back to me on a possible $75 refund, or finding somebody else who could actually solve the problem.

I don’t like the automated piece of the process. They put you on the phone and you get on a service. They ask you if you want service then they hit your account while you’re on the phone, without even asking you. They'll then tell you they would follow up with you and I have the follow-up email. It's a little frustrating when you call in your request because the people that are located in these different countries don't understand English language enough to be able to respond properly. For me, it was a little frustrating trying to get them to understand that I needed someone to look at my garbage disposal, and let me know if it needed to be replaced, or try to give them the correct numbers off of the existing one. But we got past that and an appointment was made. Then the professional came out and he was very efficient and quick. He also cleaned up his mess. So I appreciated that. Since the repair, I haven't had any problems.
I read the reviews on American Home Shield's website about the company that came out, and they were not good. I mentioned that to the lady when I made my appointment when she told me who it was. I told her that if these people come here and don't do this right, I want to know that they're going to send somebody else out here without charging me another copay. I assumed she understood because she told me, “Yes.”
I like the idea that American Home Shield allows monthly payments because I had to pay everything upfront with the previous company I had. American Home Shield told me the price and then gave me the option of paying it fully for the year or making monthly payments. I also like that I don't have to think about it because it's automatically deducted from my checking account.

I had been having issues with one of the burners of my cooktop. Able Appliance came in and they didn't fix it. They said that they were unable to open the cooktop. This was the third time I reported that issue with AHS, so I've given up. Other than that, their claim process has been good, then the scheduling and the showing up has been very consistent. They've fixed other issues in my house, too. But if the home warranty company is unable to fix an appliance, they generally give you a depreciated value of a replacement of an appliance, which is hardly anything. Then the service cost is $75. So, if you add 75 plus 150 a month, you can replace the appliance yourself when it goes bad. All in all, if people are very busy in their lives, they need to go with American Home Shield and people will take care of their appliances. But if you can do some work yourself, then it makes little sense.

So it's simple. I can even make the phone call but I usually go online. Within 24 hours, their contractor contacts me. I haven’t had any issues in that area. Any of the contract workers or companies that they partnered with contacted me, came right on out and I got serviced.
There had been a few times where they were busy so I couldn't get on right away and the scheduling time was a little longer than I would have liked. But this was a year and a half ago when COVID hit. We were told that American Home Shield is a really good company and that they cover everything so we went with them. I put in a claim when the water heater was not working. When I tried to call in initially, the person on the phone told me that the claim wasn't covered because it was pre-existing. It's not covered until somebody goes out and appraises all the appliances then it would be decided. I called the real estate agent because that was not what she told us. There was a rep for the company that they work through. He told me not to call and to go to the website, put in the address, and request the service. I did that and that was how I got the plumber out and he looked at the water heater.
I need to call back out but there's a glitch in the website. It won't let me go to the page. It says, “If this hasn't been fixed in 30 days, you don't have to pay the $100 to have them come back out.” I click and it goes to the next screen. But it goes to the screen beyond that. When I call, it sounds like telemarketing with a zillion people talking. I have not been super thrilled. American Home Shield should have better access to both online and phone and to people who actually are in the United States and know what's going on. The other screwy thing is there is no policy that says what's covered and what is not. When I asked for it, they said I will get that 30 to 45 days after I purchased the warranty.
Most of the big reputable HVAC, plumbing, electric companies also don’t take these contracts. It’s the small guys that are out there by themselves. It’s not always the most reputable workers that get contracted. It’s because they probably are offering lower rates than a national air conditioning company is gonna accept. I get that but it's the nature of the beast.

I had a running toile and it was around the holidays so I was happy to see that AHS was able to get somebody out quickly. Also, the guy from A Water Solution who came out told me exactly what the problem was and addressed the leakage.

A repairman fixed the refrigerator and was thorough with it. It's running good now and I appreciated him. It was quicker this time with the refrigerator but I've had to wait a couple of weeks for a contractor to come on previous claims. I’ve had washer and dryers that needed fixing, and it ended up in months. I've had the policy with American Home Shield for too long and I wasn't satisfied with some of the things that I had filed a claim for that they said they didn’t cover but the $75 was being paid in advance. That's a lot and higher than what I used to pay. Their customer service is all automatic with not speaking to enough human. Sometimes you need to speak to a person because you can tell them in more detail what's going on. It's hard getting on the computer and getting to where you need to get with that also. Because I wasn't satisfied with American Home Shield, I have Choice, too.

I had a furnace go out and a repairman wasn't there for almost a week. But I've had other claims with AHS and those claims went fine. There's no problem with them covering or what they did. It's just if I have to call them for something, it takes a long time to get a contractor out to look at the issue.
Thank you for sharing your recent experiences with us. We are happy that we were able to get the issue resolved for you and we look forward to our continued business together.

I’m more likely to put the claim in online to American Home Shield, and we’ll get a call within the first 24 hours. This last time with the pool pump, we put the work order in on a weekend and the contractor called me within 24 hours. They asked what was going on a little bit more in depth and even asked me to take some pictures, which I was able to do. They were out there on the next business day and replaced it. The guy even gave us some tips to take care of it. It was a very good experience. I've had AHS for two years but it just renewed in January. Most of my family has it and I haven't had an issue yet with them. They've been so easy the entire time. We've had multiple issues that we've had to get fixed and it is no hassle.

I had an issue with the gas line in my oven that was a whole big freakin' mess. It took a little coordinating, but I was able to get that fixed. A technician came in and diagnosed the problem quickly. He was abundantly careful with any kind of gas smell in the house. The people in the office were very responsive about ordering parts and keeping me on that timeline. All around, Coastal Appliance did great. I just had a guy come back out there to the house this week and swap a breaker out for me for another issue. It was quick and easy. He might have been there 20 minutes. It was a pretty fast turnaround. The coverage has been good. I've had to call it in a couple of times, and every time, American Home Shield has been very easy to work with and I've had some quality contractors come to the house and take care of my problems.

I had a couple of issues that American Home Shield has taken care of. I'm not afraid to put in a request for something and it's working out well. With our recent issue, the plumber had to go inside where the water comes from and replace a piece. Then just a few days after that, I had a leak on the floor and I did not know where it was coming from. He came and tightened some stuff, and it was fine. Also, my hot water tank stopped and it was electric. The guy came, took the panels off, and pushed the reset button. He showed me where it was and he said, “If this continues to happen, we may have to do something different. But for now, let's try it and see if the reset button will work.” So far, it's been okay. Overall, I am happy.

Their monthly fees are a little outrageous, but it is what it is.

American Home Shield does most of the hard work by finding whoever is going to fix my issue. In my recent claim, my dishwasher was leaking. The contractor came out quickly and then they fixed it by replacing a valve. It took them about five minutes. The only complaint I had was when my air conditioner went out. I didn't like the fact that I paid $75 ahead of time because at that time AHS couldn't send somebody for weeks and it was in the middle of the summer. I ended up having to call another air conditioner person to come and fix it. Then it was a hassle getting my $75 back. But other than that, I would encourage people to get this warranty. I just would tell them to call somebody else for the air conditioner.

American Home Shield did well on my claim. But my other client was so upset about what happened yesterday with his claim. There was an issue with the AC and the contractor said that he had to pay 700 for participation because it was an AC issue. My client paid 700 and waited two to three months for the parts. When the contractor went there yesterday to install the thing, they were asking for another 600. They even fought and my client was told, "If you don't want to pay, then we'll not install." My client had no choice. He felt it was a scam and he submitted a report to American Home Shield. Supposedly, American Home Shield will be the one responsible for talking to that contractor because they're the ones who sent that contractor. American Home Shield emailed they can't do anything because it's the contractor. That's the sad and frustrating part.

If the claim's an emergency, we're gonna have to pay out of pocket and find our own person. If it's not and we can wait, then hopefully, we get someone good, so it just depends on who American Home Shield sends out to us. Last year, we had a plumber who really screwed up our plumbing. I would not let that company come into the house again, even if American Home Shield sent them. When that happened, I could not get anybody from American Home Shield to help me remedy the situation. They just kept telling me to call the same company. They weren't hearing me that that company was bad, and they shouldn't really be working for American Home Shield. We ended up just paying someone to come out and fix it through American Home Shield and it was a very difficult process.
When the heater went out, I was concerned how long it was going to take to get somebody here. We couldn't get ahold of anyone to figure that out until later in the day. When I called American Home Shield, they were not sure how to answer questions, or how to deal with things sometimes. Typically, I also have to do it online, and I prefer to talk to someone over the phone when we're trying to make plans, so I can tell them what the situation is. Then Anders Air Conditioning came out. The pilot light wasn't turning on automatically and there was a part they had to replace. This time, Anders did a great job and they were a great company to work with. AHS could have a little bit better vetting process. If they could do more check-ins, that would be amazing so they would know what company is doing a good job.

As far as submitting a claim, that process with American Home Shield has been easy. But I had one situation with one of their servicemen and I've never had that poor of service before. American Home Shield sent out a guy who was extremely young and didn't know anything. But he was taking pictures then sending them back to his boss. His boss came out and looked at things but didn't listen. He was so rude then told me that I was being rude. I almost dropped American Home Shield immediately because of that experience but the lady on the phone talked to me into sticking with them.
I had an electrician come out because there was a problem with an outlet. I didn't realize that if it's outside of the foundation, the warranty doesn't cover it. That was kind of a bummer. Recently, CNJ Services came out for a plumbing issue but couldn’t fix it at the time. I ordered parts and now, I’m waiting for them to call me back to come in and do the repair. With them, it's been frustrating because I have a leaky faucet. But the guy was knowledgeable. He was on top of what was wrong.
I have created a spreadsheet and I'm keeping track of what I pay American Home Shield monthly and how it's going. So far, it's balanced out. The reps have been cordial on the phone too. They're attentive and take care of things. However, I wanted to add my computers and electronics to the policy, but you can only do that annually. That's a big negative. I’m very seriously tempted to go with another company because I could get everything on the same policy at the same time.

The service of AHS has been good. When I made a claim for the microwave, that was easy. When I called in, I told them what that appliance was. They wanted to do a video. Then a company got in contact with us. It went really smoothly and quickly. He came out. We had to wait for a part, but it only took a couple of days. He got it back working. But when the refrigerator went out, it was a long process. It wasn't getting cold and wasn't freezing. It was making a noise. American Home Shield decided to buy all these different parts and it took long for the parts to come in, instead of replacing the refrigerator. It would have made better sense to replace it, but they didn’t want to. So, then we had to wait a long time to get parts.

My old stove was apparently falling apart and I was assuming the tech looked at what it cost to fix everything and decided to give me a payoff instead, which was fine. We got the new stove and I had to pay some more to go with it because we decided to buy a more expensive one. But American Home Shield did exactly what they said they'd do and I'm pleased. The claims process is clean in terms of making things happen. It’s sometimes hard to get somebody to talk to but that seems to be the same with most big companies. Overall, I'm satisfied and I see no reason to leave AHS. I have already recommended them three times.

American Home Shield is the best warranty company that I've ever worked with. I have them on all of my properties. They are the number one company that will come out and pay for the service that they're saying they're gonna provide and their website is easy. But they should get us more vendors. Getting the people here to repair is hard because everybody's so busy and understaffed and usually, it takes a day or two.

Each time that contractors came out, it was a seamless process. We called American Home Shield for something and that was a great experience. The contractor came in and they were out. The tech was on time. He called, because I wasn't home but my mom was there. He said, “Hey this was the issue. I fixed it. I’m leaving. Call me if anything else…” That type of dialogue. I loved it. We also had an issue with the washer and dryer. Those went perfect, too. The one guy, he had to even leave, order parts. But they kept in communication with me. “Hey, the part is gonna be a month. It's a month out.” But we had one situation where to this day, it hasn't been fixed. It was a bad work.
The furnace was leaking. We called AHS. They sent out a contractor, but he didn't do anything. So AHS kept it open. They don't close out on it until you feel the work has been completed. It took a month. Because he would call right before he was supposed to come and he would say that he had a family emergency. And he said something about he had the flu. He also said that he had either a car accident and there was another time that he said that there was a death.
When he came back out, he worked on our furnace in the attic. After doing work up there for a few hours, he left. He didn't communicate. My mom was there and she was uncomfortable with the fact that he just left. He didn't even say, “Hey, the work is done. This was the issue. I'm leaving.” And he left the front door open. That was a bad taste in my mouth.
We figured out why he just left was because there must have been a soft spot in the attic. He broke through the wall. His foot came through one of the bedrooms. So, he left the drywall. It fell in the room and he left the hole there. So we called him back and said, “Yo. You left a hole in our wall.” And he said, “Oh, I was in a rush. I'm sorry. I'm going to come back.” That took another month. Somebody left a hole in my wall and AHS just told me that they are out of it as the middleman. I sent the pictures. So I contacted the contractor to ask them to come back and do another job, which was to fix the hole.
It took a month because every time when we would schedule something, they would say he was busy. He was working on another site. He finally came in. But he did a horrible job. I even followed up with them. He just plastered the hole. He didn't even repaint that area. And he started to not show up, or showed up late. I said, “He seems very unstable. Don't even worry about it. I don't even want him back in the house.” So we're just left with that nasty hole plaster. He also left the drywall on the floor. It was bad. The contractor should not work for AHS. The tech was so disgusting.

We moved in my parents’ house and it's an older house, and it still has the screw-in fuses. The dryer has a separate switch to it. It has two 30-amp fuses out and I replaced the one that was blown. I looked at the other one and there wasn’t anything wrong with it. The dryer turned on but it wouldn't heat. When the guy finally got up there, he checked them out again and said that the other fuse was bad, too. We just had to replace that other one and it worked.
I did the claim online with American Home Shield and we found out the repair was going to be through Sears. We got several notifications of the verification, the time and the date, and then AHS let us know. The actual technician called me before he arrived. It was about an hour and a half before he arrived. He called and let me know that I was the next on the list, and this is where he was, and how long it would take him to get to our house.
We’re happy with AHS. They’ve always been very receptive. We live in an area where it's difficult to find technicians to come out to where we are because we live off the beaten path. But they've always given us whatever options necessary. They were able to schedule somebody through that network. We had a hot water heater that had to be replaced last year and they weren't able to find anybody through their networks so they gave us the option to find somebody ourselves. The person came, fixed it and submitted the claim. AHS paid the claim and it was all good. Having them is a good idea because all these home in the area are old.

For the most part, American Home Shield's service has been very good. Some parts had to be ordered for my refrigerator and icemaker, but nobody has followed up with me. The process of requesting service is great. Once I go on the Home Shield site and then I put in my request for whatever I need to have repaired, in less than 24 hours, someone would contact me. They also let me know who is the assigned contractor so I can know to expect a call from them. It's pretty quick. I had a plumbing issue recently. The toilet ran intermittently and after the course of a couple of months, there was a leak that had started in the basement. I shut the water off and I called for Home Shield to have someone come out and look at it. The plumber from Homemeister took the toilet off and noticed that the waxed ring needed to be replaced. He explained everything that he was going to do and he did due diligence to make sure that it wasn't leaking anymore.

When the technician came out, he looked at it and said, "Yeah, this is usually the problem." He just told me what it was going to cost to replace it, and that was it.

It was really frustrating. I had to wait till this plumber was available, which was days later. If you have a real emergency, you can't wait that long. But the person from Swat Plumbing that came out did a good job and I was happy with the work that they did. Except for situations like this claim, I'm happy with the service I've received from AHS.
