I will never buy Samsung oven range again or Samsung appliance. Both times I ran my self-clean, the thermal fuse blew and it cost me over $250 each time for a specialist to come and diagnose and repair the problem. He told me he serviced many LG and Samsung customers for the same problem. His advice, don't run the self clean function. My Samsung french door refrigerator also acted up a lot especially with the ice making bucket and function. Stylish yes, but self clean function cant measure up to my old range Maytag or Kenmore. Other than that, the gas fired stove works fine and the oven bakes fine.

Bought a Samsung electric range and within 3 months the glass broke. Mind you, I take very good care of my appliances and am not rough with them. The warranty is useless since they just brushed it aside as a physical damage. Never buy a Samsung appliance. It just isn't worth the headache.

This Range, if you want to call it that, is complete and utter garbage. Set the oven temp, wait forever for it to reach that temp, walk away for 2 minutes, come back and check the temp, and find that it is at the very minimum, 40 to 60 degrees lower. Repeat endlessly while you try to cook let’s say, a turkey, or anything for that matter. That makes the range 100% useless/defective. Within warranty in conversations with Samsung CS – nothing they could do – suggested I call a service tech from point of purchase– so the unit was checked by a tech who claimed everything was in order ‘as far as he could tell’, nothing further they could do.

If ever an appliance deserved a negative star rating, if ever a product deserved to be stricken, outlawed from the market, permanently, then Samsung electric ranges are at the top of the list. Had I known how unbelievably dysfunctional/non-functional these hunks of junk were, I'd be 2000 dollars richer. This fact, coupled with the complete and total incompetence, carelessness, disregard, which you encounter with Samsung 'customer service', makes this experience the absolute worst customer experience, the worst purchase of all time.

The idea that this company knows their product is inherently defective, and seeks to get away with it is so maddening, frustrating, that it boggles the mind to think that somehow they are allowed to continue unabated. I joined a 'class action' suit that is supposedly in progress against them without so much as an inkling of a word, years later. In this household, ANYTHING Samsung is now and forever banished and hopefully, permanently exiled to the garbage bin of history where it belongs.

I bought Samsung smart wifi enabled convection gas range from Home Depot last year Sept. I used it for 3 months after Christmas. I self cleaned the oven. It has not worked since. The company technician that came to my house was obnoxious. They said I had infestation. When you call the call center be prepared for 1/2 to 1 hr wait. They refuse to fix it. Call another company basically the motherboard and control board goes when you self clean the oven. Samsung is aware of the problem and still selling stove. A motherboard cost $479. A control board cost $179. Do not buy this stove. They know nothing about appliances. My daughter washing machine just went down after a year. I haven't used my oven since January.

Bought this stove January 2024. I’m writing this August of 2025. It’s a piece of junk. I will NOT ever buy a Samsung anything ever again. The oven turned on by itself, I’m thankful I was home to turn it off. Walked into my kitchen to see a C-F2 code. The service technician that Samsung contacted for me said they don’t even service my area. I’m less than an hour from St. Louis. So my new stove is trash in 19 months. I don’t have a receipt but I bought from Home Depot in Festus, Missouri. Lesson learned.

The first range that I purchased was crushed, despite the box being undamaged. It was packaged at the factory that way. Luckily, the delivery men were also to install it, saw the issue and immediately called for another to be shipped. The second arrived, and despite the burners cooking a bit hotter than I liked, it was okay. Until a few months ago. When the stove was only about 27 months old. The oven began either not heating up past 175 or not maintaining temp if it did. The oven light would not always come on when the door was opened. Today, I was given a repair price. Which is only $50 less than buying the EXACT SAME MODEL NEW from Lowe's. I am beyond disgusted with the quality of the Samsung range. It didn't even work for 2 1/2 years!!!! (December 2022-May 2025) For something that I paid almost $1000, I expected better quality.

I purchased a Samsung gas range model NX60A6511SG/AA about a year ago. I am not very impressed with it. 1st, I cannot get both the stove top and the oven level....if one is level the other is not. 2nd, the burners burn too hot. I like to let sauces and such simmer but all of the burners are too hot for this. Everything comes to a rapid or near rapid boil. When boiling noodles or potatoes, they always boil over unless I push the pan so it barely touches the flame. I tried a different brand first and that one was worse.

Poor performance. Temperature adjustment is not uniform. Very uneven, inconsistent heating elements. It is really low or really hot, and does not adjust well to medium temperatures. We have burned up a lot of food. Oven does not heat to the desired temperature when checked, and requires constant adjusting to make sure the food is cooked through. 4 different Samsung service technicians have given different answer every visit and basically give us the runaround. On this last visit while all heating elements were turned on, the stove shorted out and flipped the breaker. This has happened to us before as well. So far, Samsung does not seem to care about their customer. Stay away!

I bought a range from Samsung website. Got it delivered end of March 2023. I don't use the oven much, Probably 20 times in almost 2 years. I always use the self clean options. A month ago, during cleaning the smell was weird, so I stopped and looked at it. The inside is "peeling" where nothing ever touched. Clearly a defect, and after reading all the review, pretty common. Contacted Samsung, they stand behind their "one year" and refuse to cover it. That will be my last Samsung, not high quality at all.

We purchased Samsung black stainless steel appliances when we renovated our kitchen. I liked the look of “black stainless steel”. However, 9 months into owning them, I started noticing the black finish that was starting to peel in areas where you would expect to wipe on the stove top edges from cooking splatter. It also started on the water dispenser on the fridge. I contacted Samsung and was told it was not covered under warranty and to contact a repair shop in my area. So pay for a repair person to come to look at the shoddy appliances and be told not much can be done. Nothing I can do and it looks like the appliances are 10 years old and worn. The function of the appliances is okay but extra money spent to get the look we wanted was a waste. If you like black stainless steel, pay the extra money to get the real deal but the dollar store peel and stick finish. It simply doesn’t last and Samsung will say 🤷‍♀️, too bad….

I've purchased all Samsung appliances, and it's been a nightmare. The washer lasted about 4 years with multiple repairs with no luck. I finally got rid of it. Now, a stove I've had for almost 4 years doesn't work. 2 burners only provide max heat no matter what the knob is on, and almost caught my kitchen on fire. The buttons work when they want as well as the buttons on my fridge. These are by far the worst appliances I've ever purchased. I do not recommend them for anyone.

If you are looking to purchase a brand appliance with good customer support, DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. My range is 10 month old. It was bought in 2024, I also bought an extra 5 year warranty. There's a defect with my oven, the porcelain inside the oven has been flaking off and chipping every time I wipe the oven down (I also only use their clean cycle). The supervisor agreed with me, who said they'd never seen that happen, who then sent a technician who also agreed with me and has been talking with Samsung to rectify. When I called to get an update they still rejected my claim, saying it is a cosmetic issue? (Under a year old oven with inside finish continuously coming off... I didn't spend $3000 for a "cosmetic defect to happen within the first year.) Samsung is by far a big waste of money and a scam.

DO NOT purchase the Samsung electric glass top ranges... Our brand new stove surface broke when a worker placed their hand on it to steady themselves as they reached up. I've stood on other brand glass top ranges with no damage. We have been made aware of the fact the surface breaks too frequently and Samsung WILL NOT replace the glass surface or the electric range. The Home Depot staff tried their best to help but Samsung will not acknowledge how easily the surface can break. This is dangerous and expensive. I was run through (8) customer service people who all promised to help and not one would give me a straight answer. POOR Product. POOR SERVICE. Go figure.

I get an error code of C-dl which is the child proof safety lock feature on oven door. The first time it happened was 5 days before my 5 year extended warranty ran out. It was the fuse and they came out and fixed it promptly. Now, it’s just 3 1/2 months later and it happened again. I tried turning off power and then back on to try and reset. Not working! Home Depot where I bought it didn’t offer another warranty to extend it. Now I have to call for a repair and don’t know how much that will cost. Love the cooktop part but you have to remember to pick up the pots and pans to move them otherwise you will scratch the top.

We purchased our slide in range back in 2022, now keep in mind that this range was not the most expensive on the market however, it was above average cost. We purchased this particular range due to the options available (ie Convection oven, regular oven, air frying, etc.) and the stylish sleek look. Early in 2024 we received a (what they call) recall and Samsung's answer. They provided a work around, the recall was due to the burners being able to be turned on by leaning up against them or even a pet could turn the knob, this workaround was a plastic lock that slides over the burner knobs and keeps it from turning. My #1 issue with that is a good dollar amount was used to purchase this stove and now you look at it and see 4 big ole knob locks, this in our opinion is totally unacceptable, if design was not a factor it "may" not have been.

Purchased a Samsung smart stove in December of 2023. There’s been nothing but problems with the oven keeping the correct temperature. It drops the temperature 10 -30 degrees every time. Dealing with Samsung has been a nightmare. A technician has been to my home 3 times. They keep saying the heating element needs to be calibrated. They do it , but it’s still the same problem.we couldn’t cook Xmas dinner last year. Had to bring the Thanksgiving turkey next door to my son’s house this Thanksgiving to cook it. And twice when my wife’s called for service again, they tell her there will be a service charge for a technician to come out.

Then she has to explain everything again to the person on the phone. Totally frustrating. Also about 2 months ago at 9:00 pm we were watching tv and heard a loud crash in the kitchen. The front glass on the oven door exploded and went all over the kitchen floor. The stove wasn’t even on. We’ve asked for a replacement stove but they say no, they can fix it. I’m very disappointed with Samsung’s customer service and their handling of product safety concerns. I purchased a Samsung stove for my family about a year ago, and it has been nothing but trouble. The stove’s knobs are overly sensitive and get pressed easily, and the touchscreen turns on at the slightest touch—sometimes even from my clothes. I’ve burned myself multiple times while cleaning it but brushed it off, relying on my first aid knowledge to handle the situation. However, this has now become a serious safety issue as my little ones can easily turn the stove on accidentally.

I recently discovered that this model has been recalled for these very issues. When I reached out to Samsung to inquire about exchanging the stove—willing to pay the difference for a safer model—they refused to help. To make matters worse, one of the stove’s knobs is already broken, which is shocking considering I’ve owned stoves for 35 years and never experienced this with any other brand.

The customer service experience was appalling. I spent over two hours on hold, being transferred from department to department, only to be told they couldn’t do anything because my product is out of warranty and wasn’t registered. I purchased this stove directly from Samsung.com, yet they wouldn’t even provide a replacement knob free of charge. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a product with a known safety recall. On top of that, none of the customer service agents spoke clear English, making the process even more frustrating. Samsung, this is a disgrace. I will never buy another product from this company.
