Safe Step Walk-In Tub Reviews

The installation went well. They came out once but had the wrong size tub. They went back and rescheduled then got the right tub. The tub is great. I like the micro-bubble thing and the lights are cool. The tub is not cheap but I'd tell others to give it a shot.

We like the tub. It allows us to be able to move freer and be a little more active. My wife can sit in there and soak and have jets on her and help her relax. Overall, Safe Step did a really good job.

I bought a Safe Step tub and it took me two months to get it because they said they had a permitting problem. The inspector came for the final inspection and apparently, there was paperwork missing. The paperwork was the initial permit had never been drawn. So he was upset about that. After the sale was complete, the rep pulled out a flyer that said the tub requires a 50-gallon water tank. He knew I only have a 30 and he had me waived that. The big problem is that nobody works here. Every single phone call has been from somewhere else. I'll send somebody who's 100 miles away.

I gave some contact information to Safe Step online, and within 24 hours, I had somebody on the phone wanting to make an appointment for the sales rep. Then he was here in three days time. So it was a fairly quick response. For the installation, I had been told a window for arrival would be 8:00 AM to 10:00. So contrary to my usual practice, I was up and dressed by 8:00 but nothing happened. At some point, one of the installers called and said, "We're just now headed out." Originally, we were scheduled for Monday but I had received a call that there was sickness among the installers. Then it was scheduled for Saturday at Memorial Day weekend. I was surprised they were going to do it on Memorial Day weekend. But I was told by the person on the phone that they wanted to stay as close to their install schedule if possible.

I had a walk-in shower and one of these medical stools, but I thought that a walk-in tub and shower would be better and I'd feel safer. I went ahead and spent some money and got a walk-in tub and shower from Safe Step. The installation was very simple. They came in at about 9 o'clock in the morning, and I pointed to them where it was supposed to be located. Then, they proceeded. By 2 o'clock that afternoon, they were done. They explained the operations of the tub and said if I had any questions or if anything out of the ordinary comes up, I can just give them a call, and they would make sure that whatever the problem was would be taken care of. There hasn't been a problem.

When their rep came out, it was easy going. He gave us the facts and information and walked away from us when we asked him to. On install day, they did a pretty good job. But they had to take the whole frame out to get the tub in and I know they're not wood workers. My wife's a little concerned about the finishing touches. I'm not concerned as much, but that's what she got upset about. Other than that, they were very creative on the electrical. I didn't like what they told me about going down to our main hallway downstairs and putting all kinds of patch panels. They figured a way to go up straight to the attic and back down again and I was pleased with that.

Tina came in and showed me the Safe Step. She did a great job of explaining and taking me through the details. But after I got through the machine, I was even more pleased that I picked that one instead of the two others that we looked at seriously. We paid a little more for Safe Step but we're happy with it. I've had my Safe Step now for about two weeks. At first, I was very unhappy. I had a very hurried installation by a young man by the name of Chris. But he came well-equipped, and he had a helper with him. He did a good job with the installation, but he was extremely hurried and did not have time to give me a full explanation. I even told him to slow down. I wanted to understand him a whole lot better than I did. I did that twice during the course of the conversation. But he did go through the numbers.

I had two companies come out and give me estimates, and Safe Step had more to offer. The installation went well. They did some damage, but they're having someone come out on Friday to fix it, so it should be fine. The bathroom door wasn't wide enough. So, they took off the doorway. They put that back on, but someone's gonna touch it up so it looks better. The tub seems great. It's helping my mom out a lot. I like the micro bubbles. They seem to work very well. I would recommend Safe Step.

We're all very tall people and our knees would have been almost to our chest by the time we got in the walk-in tub. When we talked to the salesperson, he knew that because we were sitting there. He put the numbers down and got one in here but it was so short when I got in it. The man who installed the walk-in tub was super nice and quick on getting stuff done. He said Safe Step had one in stock and we could swap it out so he called me a few days later and brought it up, and had it installed that day. So Safe Step did a good job on that.

The original installation started eight weeks ago. But the glass and the brackets to mount it were missing. It took them a while to get somebody back out here to try to rectify some of the install issues I saw. We've also got a problem with the caulking. It won't set up on the tub. If you touch it, it's still wet. They're gonna call me back with a date and time to fix it. I can't use the shower and don't wanna try to even attempt that now with the caulking situation being what it is.

Safe Step Walk-in Tubs' rep was there soon. It didn't take long to have him come over and demonstrate. Had we wanted a beige tub, we could have had it sooner. But we wanted white, so we had to wait a couple of weeks. But it came in early, too. The installers laid everything down, laid plastic on the floor to protect it, and kept the doors closed to the bathroom so that when they were taking out the old tub, the household wouldn't be filled with dust. And they cleaned up. We were very satisfied. The tub doesn't drain as fast as I would like it to. But I like the micro and jets. We were very satisfied.

I liked everybody that I talked with and the person who came out got me sold on the Safe Step walk-in tub. He went through all the other brands that they had and he was very honest. He said there were some that were cheaper but I wanted something that was going to last and I wasn't going to have any problems with. It's always good to get a bargain on certain things, but on something like that, I didn't want to get something that was just going to be a constant headache. When the tub was put in, the installer explained everything and went pretty much in good detail.

The Safe Step salesperson was convincing. He was really good. He made me believe that it was of good quality. The installation went smoothly and fast. The installers cleaned up after themselves. It was a really good experience. The Safe Step is an awesome tub. It has all the gadgets like the lighting. We also got that thing that plays music. There are speakers in the tub. So we just play our music from our phones. But the shower attachment could have better quality. After the installation, they didn't attach the pole correctly. So the water started squirting out. I had to go and tighten it but it was really easy to do. When I did that, I noticed that the quality of the shower could be better for the amount of money I spent.

The rep was the best I've ever seen. He knew his product and all the guarantees. I had to call him and get him to call the company about demanding $22,000. We worked out a payment deal of 200 and something dollars a month. The techs cut the door so we could get a wheelchair into the tub. The installer was on the phone with me when I ordered the tub and he got all the specifics on the door. The replacement door finally came in and as soon as it's installed and it fits, I'm ready for payments. I like the tub and I'm happy with it but I'm not completely happy until I get a door that fits. The wife doesn't like to use the tub because of the open door.

The techs just went in and did the installation. Somebody could have given better instructions how to use the tub. They flashed through the instructions really fast. When I first tried to use it, I didn't even know you had to wait 15 minutes to a half hour to turn it on so you can get warm water. I was disappointed that it doesn't have any apparatus to maintain the heat. Since then, I haven't tried using it again. Also, I was disappointed I didn't get the shower kit because when I talked to the guy at the factory, I told him, "I want everything that comes with it."

The lady who came out told us all about the Safe Step walk-in tub and she was very informative. She took good care of us. Then, the installation took seven hours and the installers were pretty good in explaining how to use it. But the finished work could have been better as there were some minor issues. So far, I like the water and the air jets, and the water massage features of the tub.

The sales rep who came out explained everything down to a tee and he was really good. Also, the installers were wonderful. They took their time and they were very friendly. If I asked questions, they took time to explain what they were doing and how they were gonna do it. They came that morning and by that afternoon, they were gone. One of them explained and showed me all the features and he walked my daughter through. She loves it. It's a little bit too much water for me. On a trip, and we had a lot of walking, and my body was so tired when I got back. My daughter said, "Mama, why don't you get in the tub?" I said, "No, I don't have time." She said, "Put the jets on and just relax." So I did, and I felt so refreshing when I got out. My body didn't ache anymore and I laid my head on the pillow and went straight to sleep.

They came to the house and showed us everything. The presentation was wonderful -- the way the rep explained everything and showed us samples of how the tub would feel and the sturdiness of it. I'm in love with the tub and the microbubbles make the skin soft. It exfoliates everything and it's very nice. My sister said it costs too much but it's well worth it, for me. I don't have to worry about taking a bath and falling.

I like that Safe Step is all made in the US. Everything that goes into Safe Step is made in the US and I'm not so crazy about China stuff. The sales rep got a little pushy. He was trying to make a sale. He wanted us to make up our mind that day very badly. Also, we were just left hanging for a few months. We were given a time frame, but we were only updated one time. As far as the installation, the last minute, we changed where we were gonna put it. My husband didn't want to put in a lot of extra tile and have to hire somebody to do that. It was going to go in a bigger bathroom and replace a big garden tub.

Safe Step reached out back to me. Their sales rep was very good. He was very well professional and went over things very thoroughly. He answered all my questions and he reached back to me on several different things of what I should and shouldn't do as far as my hot water heater was concerned. At the time that he came out, I didn't have a hot water heater because it had just gone out. I'm trying to figure out what to put in. I thought about getting a tankless hot water heater but he told me I would be better off to get gas. The gas one was gonna cost me too much money to put in because I'd have to revamp everything and do everything all over. I was wanting to put the hot water heater in my basement. He went over different things like this with me so that I would know what I would be in for.

The Safe Step salesman was fairly convincing. Our walk-in tub was put in on the 25th of May. The installers were very nice. They took the old one out, put the new one in, and it took about six hours. Our tub had the circulating jets and I like the setting that exfoliates your skin. Overall, the tub is nice. My only problem with it is I have a 50-gallon hot water heater and when I use the tub, it uses all the hot water. Then when we try to rinse, the water is not hot yet.

We are very satisfied with the product of Safe Step. My handicapped daughter is very happy with it. It was not cheap, but the way the sales rep explained to me was very nice. Everything was also fine with the installation. They did it quickly. The only thing, the inspection took a little bit because the inspector was not so happy. We needed more fire alarms. They had to come back, but it was not a big deal.

The salesman was good and everything went well. We’ve had the Safe Step walk-in tub for one month and my wife likes it. It helps the aching bones.

The guys who did the installation of the walk-in tub were great. They were careful with the surrounding apparatus. They were going all the time and they had it in in one day. I've got diabetic neuropathy and weak muscles due to the neuropathy, and the bubbles and the water jets feel so good. It's like getting a full-body massage. When I get in the tub, I'm in there for at least half an hour. We love the Safe Step walk-in tub and we’re in it three times a week. People should get it. I would even let my friends come over and try mine and see if they like it. You get them in there one time and they're going to buy one, especially my golfing buddies. They have arthritis and sore muscles.

The salesman was very informative and professional. Once I saw his presentation and saw the merchandise, I was sold. The walk-in tub was delivered and the two fellas who installed it did a wonderful job. They got here about 8:30 in the morning. They were young gentlemen and they went right to work. They never stopped for lunch and I was concerned about that. But they kept at it all day. They left at 4:30 and everything was in perfect condition. They worked very hard. I'm in a wheelchair and can't walk at all so, the walk-in tub has been such a blessing to me and it was worth every penny I paid for it. It was much different than I expected. It was much bigger and all trimmed out with molding. My bathroom is a bone color and the tub is that. I've got the jets that help with my legs and my back and that's all I need. The tub drains very fast and fills up fast as well.

The rep had a good product to sell and he knew how to sell it. We were able to stay in the room where the walk-in tub was going to be put and the installer was in and out. The installation was very rapid. Every time I'm in the Safe Step walk-in tub, I just love it. It gives me a nice, good shower and I can sit down and take it. Then I can get up when I have to wash certain parts of my body and I'd sit back down. The quality is great and everything is top-notch.

The installation was very quick and professional. They finished it in three hours. I like the tub. My dad likes it too. I enjoy the microbubbles to work out the kinks and pains. My dad likes the standup shower. He's safer when he takes a shower. But my mom is afraid to use it.

The guy that ran the installation crew was a good guy. He knew what he was doing. My wife loves the tub. It makes it so much easier and safer for her to bathe. It's got a Bluetooth radio, bubbles, an oxygenating thing for the water and lights.

It was a good experience with the company. I was impressed with the salesman who was terrific and the technicians who put it in. The installation was wonderful. My wife loves the tub.

The gentleman was very nice. He checked everything and told me everything would work. I was well pleased with the representative. The installers were very considerate. They did an excellent job. I'm satisfied.

The salesperson gave us high expectations as far as the tub and what it would do for us. The first time that the installers were out, they had to come back because we had to have some replacement done on the floor. We got that done then they came back that next week and installed it. But I had to call them back to do some more patchwork. It looked sloppy in some places. I chose Safe Step because of their reputation, but I'm wavering from that 'cause I ain't getting my stuff done. I don't have the shower rod and the curtain yet. We love the tub but we don't get to shower in it much because it's not completed. It wets up the floor a lot of times. The people that came out to set it up were supposed to be ordering the shower rod and the curtain. That has not happened. I don't know what's going on. Nobody has contacted me.

The rep was a good guy. There was one thing he may have said to me, but I wasn't listening, and I wish I was listening about it a little bit better. I have a tall, 60-gallon water heater and a regular sized home one, and it takes every bit of it. I know how to control the warm water and get it hot at the very end, but it takes the entire tank and the tub under careful monitoring not to run into cold water before the tub is full. I like a hot bath. But I can't do it with my existing hot water heater. I can't get it as hot as I would like it.

The sales rep was fine, and we made the decision right there that day, but the tub is a little pricey. After we got into the point of using it, now I wish I would have done more research in some of the other ones. We also have some issues, including with the caulking and some of the instructions. I was told that I was supposed to get an instruction booklet within six weeks, but we still haven't seen anything. I've got an issue with the drain as well, and I'm waiting for somebody to call me back. I called and left a message once, and I'm gonna do it again today.

The rep was honest and outpouring. He didn't dissuade me either way to do what I want to get done. He gave me the color scheme or what kind of wall I like and was totally awesome about it. The installers showed me what the bathtub would look like before they brought it into the house. The quality of work was good. I even had some cabinets that were over my bathtub and my showers and they took those out. They brought them all the way to the top.

Safe Step was absolutely wonderful to work with. I called a relatively local company and talked to the guy and I really hit it off. He came across as intelligent, wanting to help us out, and not wanting to oversell anything. So he was great to work with. The installers took my old tub out and everything went well. They made everything work out so that there was no major expense involved. I'm an above-knee amputee and I noticed those tubs have jets. I have a spa outside and I had a big tub inside, but it was huge. There was no need to have that big a tub. With the Safe Step tub, I can have the jets and there are other options too and it really helps. The tub is really nice. I'm glad I got it.

The installation went well and the installers were very professional. They had to do it in a farmhouse and put a nice new tub in it, and that's remarkable in my book. The Safe Step walk-in tub is in good shape and the quality is very good. I have limited mobility and it's difficult for me to get in and out of the old tub. So, just being able to get in and sit down in the bathtub is a plus for me. I like having the shower and the tub together as well as having the water bubbles. It helps with my arthritis. But I can't figure out why one pump is not pumping water on my feet. I turned the switch over like it's supposed to and it stayed the same. Perhaps it was something I was doing wrong so, it's no reflection on them. I have not contacted them about it. But I'm sure that once I get ahold of them, they'll be able to do something.

Safe Step Walk-in Tubs seemed to have a better reputation than others. They've been in business a long time. And when the salesman came over, I was convinced that I had the right one. He was very knowledgeable and nice. He was here for a long time and I enjoyed his presentation. The first time the installers came, they brought a smaller tub, and the guy said, "I want you to try and sit in it before we bring it in." I did and it was so tight. So, he said, "I'm ordering you a bigger tub." I appreciated him doing that before he even brought it in. And he brought the other one and I was able to sit in it and I said, "This is perfect." So, they came in and started the installation. I had a lady here that oversaw everything and she said they were nice, cleaned up after themselves, and the installer explained everything to her and gave her the card so I could look at it. I appreciate the way they did it. The gentleman that was in charge was very nice.

I liked that with Safe Step Walk-in Tubs, setup installation was included and I also liked their accessory packet. Derrick was very knowledgeable about the product and helpful in that. The installers were professional, friendly, and did mostly a good job. However, the tub's step up is not great. But if it was a higher step in front of the door and the door was shorter, we wouldn't have to scrunch over in the corner to shut the door over our feet. If the door was higher, there would be more room for our feet, for the door to slide over. Because we only have an inch. I like the tub.

The reps from Safe Step were very descriptive during the sales visit. The installers did very well and got the installation done in one day. I've used the walk-in tub several times and I like it very much. I was satisfied with it. The only trouble is I don't want to get out of it.

Safe Step is a tub that I've wanted for a long time. I enjoy it. It has a lot of jets. I like the jets on my back and my legs. It is easy to get in and out of too. Everybody said it's too much money, but it was worth it. The only thing was where they said they would install it in one day, that didn't happen. It took two. It had something to do with the plumbing. They didn't have the backsplash. They had trouble finding it because they had to come down here. They ended up going to Home Depot.

The rep was great, very understandable and explained herself perfectly. I was impressed with her knowledge. The installation was done in less than a day. It was unbelievable. The installers started at 7:45 and finished at 9:30 in the morning. The Safe Step walk-in tub is for me and my wife, and it’s very good. The whirlpool is my favorite feature.

The installation team was nice though that one man was bossy. I love Safe Step. I've only had the tub about a week and it's so nice.

We're not little people and we thought there would be a little bit more space in the Safe Step walk-in tub. We're mainly using it as a shower because we had a problem with shower chairs and it just seemed like it didn't work. Also, that door that opens to get in there is really tight for us to get. In fact, it's almost like we have to stand up in order to get the door open to get in it and then close it. So, it could be better situated that you could maneuver in it better. Other than that, the tub is all right and we're still getting used to it. When it was installed, the installers got here at about 9:30 and it was after 6:00 before it got all finished.

A nice guy came and gave us a presentation. He told us about the Safe Step walk-in tub and we signed with them. The installation was nice and and it took about two months to get permits. The installers were four guys who were very professional. They were here one day, then we had the inspection by the county. The electrical part passed, but the plumbing part did not because the door leaked. We contacted the company and they sent the crew back. They cleaned the seal and the mating surface, filled it with water, and went for about five days. Then, they contacted the county, and the inspector came back and passed it. So far, the tub is great. I like its micro bubbles and regular bubbles. With the walk-in, it's easier for my wife to get into the shower, which was the main reason why we got it. Even though we have a walk-in shower, this is a lot easier. It's expensive but it's worthwhile if you have problems.

The installation went great. My wife loves the tub. Everything turned out as well as we could expect. The sales rep was an excellent salesperson. He was an excellent fundamental salesman and those people are pretty rare. The installation guy was really good. He made a minimum mess. Everything fits just right. He did a wonderful job and did it all in one day, which was surprising to me. The thing works just fine just as it's advertised.

When Safe Step came in, they checked everything out, told me what it would take to put the tub in, and then they sent the service technicians in and they did it. They had two guys come in and did everything except the electricity that we had to run, and then they had an electrician come in and do it. I've got a bad back and the tub does me good. But I'm not as happy with it as I thought I'd be because it fits my wife better than it does me. She can get more water on her than I can. But I'm pleased with it so far.

I like Safe Step Walk-in Tubs' features. Also, the installation process was good. It didn't take them long, but had to have some tiles replaced. They had to tear the wall apart. Other than that, the quality of the work was very good. They put the tub in. It took one day. The tub is great to sit back and relax in.

My wife is 80 and she wanted a walk-in tub with circulation. I liked the way Safe Step made it with the door with the angle on it to go over your knees. It seemed to be the best deal. I was a little surprised at the cost, but that's the way it goes. I was very satisfied with the salesperson and the installers. The sales guy was very informative, easy-going and personable. He didn't really push anything.

The sales rep was knowledgeable, very polite and helpful. I knew what I wanted and she was able to present it. The installers came in and they got to work and finished within half a day. Then, about hours later, two other electricians came and they were very polite. They seemed to be doing what they were doing. Everything is working. The tub does everything. I like the air and water and heat. The heat keeps the water hot or warm. In a regular bathtub, your water cools off after a while. With the Safe Step, I'm able to have a sit-down bath other than just a shower. The tub makes me a little more relaxed.

A major thing that made us go with Safe Step was that it was made here in the US. They had local representatives. That's always a big thing for me. The price wasn't exactly the cheapest, but it was far from being the most expensive, too. The sales rep that we dealt with was the most personable. He focused on the product itself, and not on other companies, which a lot of the reps from other companies were very quick to point out to you. The installation was a very quick process. The installers were in and out in a matter of less than five hours. They were very professional. They knew what they were doing. The tub has excellent quality. I love it.

Safe Step had the best price. They were the only one that I got somebody that I could talk to. Also, the people who came were fabulous. There was no pressure with them. Just, “This is what we have. This is how much it is. These are the discounts that are available due to all the things that you have going on. And this is where you can finance it. And you like it, fine. You don't like it, thanks for giving me the time.”

The salesman made a good deal. He had a great presentation. When the installers came, they were here and gone just like they were supposed to. My wife has only used the tub once. But it's a little process you have to learn what all those buttons are. So it's a matter of repeat usage. My wife said, “It's pretty nice. You just got to figure it out.” I have also been in it and it seems to work just fine. The only thing was that when they installed it, I had a blind in the window. They put an eight-inch thing return on the side of it because it's right in front of a window. I told the installer that the blind ain't gonna work and it ain't because the blind is a little bit wider than the whole thing. So I'll have to do some cutting on it. It's gonna take some time to get that fixed.

Safe Step Walk-in Tubs' sales person came out. I liked him. He was very knowledgeable. He explained the tub to both dad and I. And he wasn't a pushy person. He went outside and walked around, and let us discuss whether that's what we wanted to do and go with him, versus somebody else. The installation was interesting, because the unit is already put together. The biggest portion of it was getting it out of the truck, unpacking it, while somebody was on the inside demolishing the shower and tub that was inside. I went back and forth and watched both the destroying of the tub in the shower. I also went back out and watched them put the finishing touches, all the pieces that go on the unit that came in in separate boxes before they took it inside the house. They covered our wood floors with cloth.

The Safe Step representative was excellent. He's a good talker. He's paid to talk, but he made a good presentation. The installers were very professional and polite and were able to do everything they wanted to do with no problem. I like the tub portion. Overall, Safe Step was excellent. Everything was professional like they should have been.

I wanted to see what it was all about and I called up Safe Step. I liked what they said and they went ahead and installed it. The new walk-in tub is very nice and relaxing. I'm glad I bought it. I am very satisfied with what Safe Step did and highly recommend them.

The sales rep from Safe Step who came out was good and the installation went really fast. They got here about eight o’clock and they were out of here before one o'clock. Also, I like the tub so far. It has a whirlpool for my legs and back.

The salesman that came over explained everything totally. He told us that we had enough water in the 50-gallon water heater, the circuit breaker was good, and there was plenty of room to get it in. Then he showed us prices and gave us discounts. Since we paid cash, we got more discounts. So, it was a very good experience with him. He didn't have to sell the Safe Step product. We already thought of buying it. The installers got here about 9:00. They were done by 5:00. They were gone for an hour and a half because they had to go get parts and lunch and dump the trash. They were very efficient. It was a husband-and-wife team.

The installers brought the wrong tub the first time, but things happen. I just waited a week and the installation was very good once they got the right tub. Everything worked out okay. We like the Safe Step walk-in tub very much. A lot of times I use the shower and soak my feet. My husband gets in three times a week, whereas before, he was afraid. He now enjoys it.

The experience with Safe Step was positive when I reached out to them. It was prompt. The installation was done in half a day and it was fantastic. I like everything about the walk-in tub except the music because the volume is too low. I have a bad back and hip and the walk-in tub has been making things easier. But you need a one-inch-thick pad or something you can put out over the curve where the seat goes down to the lower part of the tub so that you can scrunch down in there and get fully submerged.

There are some things going on in my life recently and it slowed me down a bit. Before I get any older, I wanted a walk-in tub to help keep me in my house. My Safe Step tub is expensive but it's a nice fixture. I do like it. It's got a panel on it. You can either use your fingers or a remote control. I've got back, neck and leg problems, and it's nice to have a sauna in the house. It's like a sauna. It's very relaxing when you get in. I have a hard time sleeping, and it relaxes me well. They put an overhead shower in it for me too with a rain showerhead.

I wish I'd never heard of Safe Step. I'm 90 years old. I thought this was gonna be a wonderful experience, because I have arthritis, but it's horrible. I turned the water on, but the tub wasn't filling up. I thought I closed it properly, then finally, I stood up and noticed that the water was all over the damn floor. All my hardwood floor is gonna have to be replaced now. Safe Step said that they would come out, but I can't believe that there isn't something to stop the tub from flooding my house if the door wasn't properly closed (other people can't either). There should have been a signal that it wasn't properly closed. I'm terrified now, and I don't know if I'll ever use it again. Also, the installers didn’t spend much time with me. One guy was trying to make sure my check cleared, and the other guy was drilling a hole in the bedroom wall. It was a mess.

The sales rep was good. He met me at my house and we talked about everything. He was very informative. The people that did the install did a good job as well. They were here and out within a little over a half a day. The only thing I don't like about my walk-in tub is it takes too long to fill up, and I'm just sitting in there. Once it gets full though, it's fine. I like the microbubbles because I've got some skin irritation on my legs and that helps. The tub drains quickly too. Overall, the Safe Step tub is nice if you've got time to sit there and wait on it to fill up.

The sales rep that came out was very professional, nice, explained everything very well, and definitely not high pressure. The installers were very good too. They were very efficient, and I had no problem at all. They cleaned up perfectly before they left. The only problem is the door, getting in and out, but mainly getting in. If we're gonna take a shower and we're not gonna sit down on the seat, we have to be fairly thin to get past the door, but we manage to do it. My husband had his 92nd birthday last week and the big thing was the tub. Everyone that came had to go look at the tub, and they asked about it.

The sales rep answered all of our questions and we signed the contract. The install took less than a day, and the people that installed our Safe Step tub were nice. So far, so good. The tub seems to be working fine, but it's got a little noise when it empties the drain to dry it out. 30 minutes after draining, there's an engine that comes on and swoosh. Still, we're happy. We're 80 and 87 years old, and we opted to do a walk-in instead of get a hot tub and take a chance on falling or not being able to get in and out. It has the jets just like a hot tub would and it's very nice.

The sales rep's job was very easy as I already knew I wanted the Safe Step tub before he came. The installation was very good. The tub was supposed to come with Bluetooth speakers and it didn't come with that. But that was probably because the tub was done a whole lot faster than it was supposed to be. When the installation guy was showing me how the tub worked, he mentioned that when it turned on and it was blinking blue, that's when it was trying to Bluetooth connect to the phone. When I asked him where were the speakers because I was going to get my phone and try it out, he mentioned that he didn't see the speakers when it was being installed. He also said that he would have to order those. I haven't heard anything back since then but we got it installed in June and we're still in June. Besides that, I like everything else about the tub and I would tell my friends to get it. It's completely worth it and I brag about the tub to everybody I speak to.

Safe Step's sales rep went through all the steps of telling us about their product and explained some of the deficiencies of some of the other products. Then, they gave us a timeline for the installation of two weeks after ordering, but it took three to four weeks to get the tub installed. The installers were professional and pretty clean. But we had a cast iron tub, so there were little dust and particles that I needed to get. After the installers got done, they filled up the tub and showed us that there were no leaks. And we had to wait 24 hours before we could use it.

The guy that came out was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was very explicit about the service that I could take. I've been using the tub and I love both the water and air features.

The installers were extremely nice and helpful. They told me stuff about the tub that the salesman didn’t. They did the installation in one day. He took a marker on my envelope about the tub and wrote his name and phone number. He said, “You have any problems, you call me.” Now, I'm trying to figure out why my door keeps leaking. But I would like to wipe everything down real good, and then try it again. Then if it still leaked, I'll call somebody. But the tub is comfortable. It makes you feel better when you get out.

We were not told the tub would not work as described to us during the sales pitch, without first replacing the hot water heater in our home with a new 55 gal heater or higher. The tub holds 60 gallons of water to make it work as we were told it would. We were also lied to about the tub maintaining the hot water level during our using it, it doesn’t. The installers told us about these things after it had been installed. False and misleading Sales person with Safe Step product/tubs. Would never recommend this company to anyone!

I asked the guy if I could stretch my legs out if I was sitting in the chair, and he said yes, but I can't. For the people in my house that take a shower, they really can't move in it. Besides that, I love laying in the tub. I also love the pressures. But nobody in my family besides me is happy. Everybody in my house calls it “the bucket” but me. My wife doesn't like the wand in the shower. She could care less about music and bathe. She just wants to shower. She's not that skinny and getting in the door, you have to shut it from the inside, and then that has to lock, and you can't really turn on the shower.

Everybody involved was absolutely pleasant. The installers were really proper. They did and explained everything. So we had a real good experience with the people that we dealt with. The installers had to cut the door open. They tore the doorframe out and then they had to cut into the wall. They put it back but you can see where they cut into the wall. The line is still there where they cut it, which I thought they should have fixed. But otherwise, they did a hell of a nice job. But I hate the tub. It's too small. I'm 6’4 and I can barely get in it. I was told that I'd be able to sit down and be comfortable, but it's hard for me to stand up and sit in it and use the Jacuzzi part of it. I have to sit down and then my knees are up against the front. So it’s pretty much non-workable for me, and this thing drains so slow.

The salesman was very, very nice and professional. The installer was here most of the day. But he was by himself. He said normally they have two men but nobody else showed up to work. He really didn't have any issues. He got the prep work done. He cleaned up as he went. He did a good job. But we've got Safe Step to come back and complete their little bit of flaws that they had when they installed the tub. There are some scratches and along the backside of the tub on the back wall. They had a little filler piece that went in there. They cut it out of a sheet. They left the cutting exposed and sharp.

Working with Safe Step was very good. The installation was very quick. It was done in one day. I still have some issues that I haven't called in yet. There's some silicone that's coming apart where they had put it together, and there are some very sharp edges that I'd like to get taken care of, but overall, my walk-in tub is very good. I like all the features such as the lights and the jets. Having the walk-in tub made things a little bit easier. It helped relieve some aches and pains.

Safe Step has a very easy and nice process. A lady came out and she was very thorough. She went over everything about the tub. The installation was good. The installers, at first, thought they might not be able to get the tub in my bathroom, but then they thought about it for a few minutes. Then they said they could do it. They had to take part of the side of the wall on the side away. Then they got it lifted up and put it in. It was quite a process, but they did a very nice job and they fixed everything like new. They told me the dos and don'ts of what I should do and how I need to clean it once a month. Then they showed me some paperwork in there and showed me that I could do some exercises. It was pretty informative. As far as the tub, I sit in it with the jets on. They really help my legs. Overall, Safe Step was very good. They did a good job of informing me about every little thing that I needed to be informed about.

I had a lot of problems with the service once I signed up for it. Not only that, I also had a lot of problems with the permits in Pompano Beach, Florida. I failed a lot of the tests and they had to come back and redo it. It was a nightmare. But the sales rep was wonderful and he proceeded to tell me that all the things that he was offering on his tub, compared to another brand. Also, I love my tub and it's been wonderful. It was getting very difficult for me to get in a tub but now, I feel so safe in it and comfortable.

I like all of the tub's features. I like the other remote better, where it had the jets as separate. I was not given a remote when Safe Step installed the tub. So, I asked the guy that was installing it to make sure Linda was aware I needed the remote, because I use it when I clean the tub and in the winter when I warm it up. Something was wrong with his tablet. He could not give me a receipt. But I expected it to happen. And according to the guy that put the glass door in my shower, Linda would be the one to send me a receipt and a remote control. Also, the drain doesn't work. I do it manually. But overall, I'm happy with the tub. I have a lot of spinal problems so it has been a good gift for me.

I really love the tub. I like all the features. But there's one part that's broken. They're coming out to fix it today.

I saw Safe Step on TV and I liked the way it was compared to other ones. I decided to look into that and I had a sales rep come in. He was kind of shocked when he did because I knew he was coming over and I just told him I knew I want it. I picked out a model and the next thing I know, I got a nice tub. When I switch the thing over to drain, it drains about as fast as it fills. I'm very satisfied.

I like what I've purchased. I'm satisfied with how it works. And I'm satisfied with the job that the guy did to install it. The Safe Step rep was very friendly and had a lot of information. He went through the details. Told me what it was about. He sent me a video. Installation was good. The guy came in and did the job in one day. And he demonstrated how everything worked. He was also very friendly.

We thought the Safe Step tub would be a good investment for the family as a whole, but especially for my wife's mom. The representative who came out was outstanding. He convinced us without any problem and we went beyond the call to just go ahead and purchase it for cash. Then, the installation was good, although we had problems with some follow through. We had some questions about how the product should be used and we didn't get enough cooperation from the manager. We kept making calls and we get answers that were not really comfortable and I was a little frustrated.

I had them out to troubleshoot the foot issue and I was told it's as good as it gets. Overall very disappointed in this very expensive investment. Maybe a bigger motor for the jets would be an improvement. Last is the drain, it's by the seat instead of by the faucet end so when you shower you tend to step on the drain closing it and filling the tub which causes soap scum issues.

They gave us a sales talk and they were very conscientious about my whole family being able to come. The installation went just like they said it would. We're happy with most of our tub's features. I'm 65 years old and I have foot problems. The jets on my feet are very helpful. My father is 90 and he has lower back issues, and man, he walks out of there feeling like a new man. We're completely satisfied with it. I recommend them.

The Safe Step walk-in tub is all right. It just doesn't mix the water well. It goes hot and cold. Also, sometimes when you're draining it, it shuts off. You gotta reopen the drain. If a friend needed a walk-in tub, I'd tell them to get Safe Step.

After they did the job, they did the walk through on what was done, and they pretty much took care of what needed to be fixed.

Safe Step came out and did everything they said they were gonna do. They were on the money and on time. I have two bathrooms and both bathrooms had the tubs. I eliminated it to one downstairs, put the walk-in in and what a difference. I like that I only have a short step. I'd recommend the walk-in tub to any friends that I have that are up in age.

I would recommend Safe Step. Their rep was very congenial and informative. If we had something, he would flip through the brochure and show us exactly what we were talking about. I made a list of questions for his second visit. He came back a second time and answered all my questions. There were three young fellas who did the installation and got everything going. They were through in one day. We had a garden tub that had to be taken out which was a little larger than what they normally do. They did a great job, covered the floor, got everything out timely, and came back and reconstructed around the tub area. Everything was neat. They were very efficient with their activities.

We decided to get a walk-in tub and we did some internet searches and gave Safe Step a call and they came in and talked to us about it. The guy that came to sell us had integrity and I liked what I saw. I have a pretty good read on people and I think that I got the impression right off the jump that he was an honest guy. The two gentlemen who showed up to install gave me a rough timeframe of how long it would take, and they were finished on time. They did a decent job. They didn't make a mess in the house.

Safe Step's rep was good. He explained everything. He answered our questions. He was polite and fun at the same time. I thought, “They're never gonna get this done. I'm sure of it. Breaking out a tub and putting in a new one? Nah.” But they did. They did everything quickly and easily. I had to call the installer back. I couldn’t get the drain to shut level. He came back two days later. And he said, “It was just one of the things was not quite right in there. It's perfect now. You won't have a problem. If you do, you call me. I'll come right back down.” And we haven't had a problem since.

The sales rep was nice and explained everything, and it seems everything he said worked out. Safe Step seems to be helping my back and feet some. I like the foot massage and leg massage and on the back also where you adjust the spray nozzles. I’d recommend Safe Step. Both my friends are getting old now and they need the walk-in tub. It’ll help them later.

The rep was very good and he made everything relatively clear to me. The installation went very well. I like the new tub so far. It has made it easier for me to shower and using the sauna was easier.

Safe Step's rep was professional. She came out. She gave us the estimate. But we had one problem after they put the tub in. One of the jets popped out. We had to contact Safe Step. They came out in a couple of days and fixed it. The tub is a bit complicated, but comfortable. I can take a shower or fill it up.

My mom is 86 and she could use a walk-in tub. I wanted it too for my aches and pains. The Safe Step rep was really nice and the installers were very good. They were there less than a day and got the walk-in tub in and done. We've had the tub for two months now and it's very nice. The quality is good and does what it's supposed to do. It does take a little long to fill up and I wish it filled up quicker. But it drains really fast. Another thing is when you're getting in, you have to be skinny. When the door opens, you have to squeeze around to get in there. But it's good.

We had a really good experience with Safe Step. They were very helpful. The installation was very quick and efficient. They did a good job and we love our new tub. It's great. I like that you can get in, you can fill it part way up. I have trouble with my knee. If I just wanna put enough water in it to get my knees in there, I can do that. Go for Safe Step. So far, it's been wonderful. The salesman was very knowledgeable, truthful, and honest. The product seems to be everything he said it was. We're very happy.

Safe Step’s reps did a good job of selling and I was convinced that it was a good tub. After they went in my bathroom and came back out and brought the price out with them, I was a little startled. It was expensive but I decided that probably was comparable with other tubs. They brought the tub, put in the driveway and asked me to sit in it. And I got in it. But I couldn't move my arms out to the side or my elbows out. So, they said I needed the bigger tub. They took the little one back and came back with the bigger one in about three weeks. They took my garden tub out that had all the jets and put this tub in.

The sales rep from Safe Step was excellent. He was very thorough in everything and he was a good salesman. He didn't have to talk me into anything. I heard everything about the tub. The installers were delightful. Rudy and James were a lot of fun. They were busy from the moment they got here until like 5:00 in the evening. So, they were here all day. Personalities were great. So, it was a cool interaction. As far as the walk-in tub, I like the jets. I put a call in to Safe Step because the remote is not working and there are other things that I need attention and they said they would have somebody call me to make an appointment.

Their sales rep seemed very honest and open and my experience with their installer was great. The installation was kind of an odd deal, but it went really well. We had a corner tub in there and the installer had to take the corner out, build it up, and get it straight in there. He did a good job. Also, I really like the walk-in tub. We've showed it to a lot of people and we've always talked pretty highly of it.

I called Safe Step and we made a date. They came and looked at the house and measured to make sure everything would fit. They gave me an estimate. I thought about it for a couple of days then called them back and confirmed that I wanted the work done. They scheduled the work date. They came, did the work, and the tub works great, just like it's supposed to do. I'm old and my hips and knees don't work, just being able to sit in water is a wonderful thing. I like that it's a tub that I can get into it and out of because I can't get up from a regular tub anymore. I'd recommend Safe Step.

The installation crew of Safe Step was very good. They didn't waste any time. We live in a condominium and our condominium approved them putting it in. They told me they could get it in in two days. This place is built like a fort. They ran into some problems they weren't expecting. The concrete is so heavy here that the jackhammer they brought wasn't really strong enough to do the job as quickly and as efficiently as they wanted. So they had to tear a little bit extra. But they got it done. They explained to me on the second day when it was completed how to work it. They gave me the manuals and told me that I would have an inspection at a certain time and they asked me to please have the tub filled to a certain level so that when the inspector came he could immediately get to what he needed to do to check it.

The Safe Step salesman called us and he knew everything and we were trying to digest everything in a very short period of time, which is difficult to do at 88 years old. But he did a good job. He made a sale but I wasn't really ready to make a sale. I was ready to find the information from two or three different people, but he cut the corners very sharply and told us what was there.

I like the Safe Step tub better than the other ones I looked at. The installation was excellent. They finished in less than a day. The quality is good. I like the shower feature they have with the tub.

My husband has medical problems and I also have right foot problems. Our daughter who lives with us had surgery for both of her feet. My husband was worried since we're getting older and he didn't want to leave us having to deal with our bathtubs and showers. He wanted to make sure that we could get a shower while we are sitting down and wanted it to be more comfortable for us.

Their rep John was very nice. I really appreciated working with him. But I'm having a problem with the bottom of my tub. It's not insulated completely on the floor. I have called them to send someone else to complete the job. I can use the tub but I'm considered about it not being basin to the floor. My son tells me that the basin is there to protect the floor in case the tub should overflow. It's done halfway but it has to be completed. Other than that, they did a beautiful job installing the tub. It's very beautiful.

Updated on 04/28/2023: The two gentlemen that were here for the installation were very courteous. They did a beautiful job. If there was any explaining they needed to do, they explained to us. It was a very good experience. The total process took six to seven hours. We just probably should put in a bigger hot water heater. The quality of the work was very nice. We had hot tubs before, so it would have been nicer to have a bigger tub. The gentleman said that if they had made a bigger one, they'd have to put it in before the rest of the house is built.

The salesman said a fifty gallon hot water tank should be sufficient. After changing the elements and thermostat in my hot water heater and still not having enough hot water to fill the tub I measured out 50 gallons and it didn’t fill the tub enough to cover the jets even with me in the tub. The salesman misrepresented how much water it takes to fill the tub. They also said the tub has heated seats. The seats barely get warm and take 20 minutes to do so at which time the heat automatically turns off. The installers were totally unprofessional and sloppy. I can’t believe I paid almost $20,000.00 for a tub that uses way more than 50 gallons of hot water and still doesn’t totally fill the tub. It also takes a long time to fill before you can enjoy the bath. Total waste of money. I feel like calling Safe Step and telling them to remove it.

The sales rep came out to my parents' house and he covered all the bases. He was able to open up his briefcase and show us hands on, “Here's what the map is gonna look like.” He made an assessment on the hot water heater. He answered all the questions. The installers came when they said they were gonna come. They were professional, timely, and got the job done within the timeframe that they told us it would be done. My parents love the walk-in tub. There's no slipping and sliding. It’s awesome.

The tub is a good thing and I'm glad I purchased it. We're very satisfied with it. The sales rep was very thorough and proficient. The installation team was very professional and thorough. They worked as a team and got the job done.

The sales rep was very good and knowledgeable. The installation went okay. The installer was by himself so it took him two days instead of one day. But he got everything done. I love the tub. I like the fact that I can actually take a bath because I couldn't get in a normal bathtub and sit down and get back up. I enjoy taking a bath in the new tub. Plus I love all of the different types of jets. But it is a little expensive.

The sales rep did an absolutely excellent job presenting the product and had everything answered. He's obviously qualified, intelligent, and presents a product very, very well. In today's world, too many people wear masks. He was in the house and he had a mask on. I said, “That's not necessary.” He pulls it down halfway, blow his nose and mouth, and you have trouble understanding him. I gave him permission to take it off in my house. We weren't worried. That may be minor, but it annoyed me. It doesn’t look very professional.

The salesman was a salesman, and he told me things that made it sound like it was exactly what I wanted. When they came to install the tub, the door leaked and they had to make some adjustments, and they thought they had it fixed, so they left. Then after several times of flooding my bathroom, I called them back because I kept trying to figure out now what I was doing wrong, and it wasn't me. They came and readjusted the tub. The repairman gave me some tips on how to keep the water warm and how to use the tub, which I didn't know before. I couldn't figure it out from the instructions. But even now, the water gets cold before the tub gets completely full. It might be a problem with our water heater because my husband tried to use it without using the tub at all, and it just run water, and the same thing happened. It didn't fill the tub and it got cold. So we adjusted the hot water heater. We're gonna see if that makes any difference.

The sales representative that came out let us know the benefits of the Safe Step walk-in tub, and he didn't do any of high pressure tactics like, “You gotta make a decision today. The price is gonna go up.” We were getting ready to set up for installation when we found out that my husband had congestive heart failure. We didn't get the tub installed because we’re getting ready to sell the house and we're gonna move back home with our daughter.

The rep was very informative and personable. He dealt one on one down to a human level, not like a salesperson. He explained how it operated and all the things that it offered. The installation experience was fairly good. There was one portion of the wall that had damage on it but that was the only issue. They told me before the installation that they would have to do some removing of doorway frames and that they really don't do the repairs of whatever plaster gets broken. I'll have to get that fixed. Other than that, the techs put everything back and caulked everything. They swept and mopped the floor. They did a very good job on cleanup.

The service team that came out was great. They told me exactly what was going on, why they were doing it and the way they were doing it. I watched them do the whole thing, and they did good work. Getting in and out of a tub was my main problem, and I like the tub's walk-in feature, because I can just open the door and walk in or out.

They suck. They promised a lot that the tub would do that it doesn't. The installation was great and the techs who installed it were really good. But I paid almost $23,000 for the tub and I should have just gotten a shower chair. It's not very accessible. Also, the door on it, I have to squeeze in. I just had a new hot water tank put in. They had told me my hot water tank was good for the tub. But it can't even get it halfway full without the water going cold. Plus, I have to be in there for two hours to have the tub fill up all the way. By the time it's up my calf, I'm already done washing. The jets are not very strong and they're useless for my back. They just give a bit of bubbles but that's it.

Safe Step installed right where my tub was, triangular in the corner. It's a little bit short, though. I can't even stretch my legs out. They had plenty of room. I don't understand why they didn't put a little longer tub in. I'm not dissatisfied with the tub itself in terms of getting what I wanted as far as the health process is concerned. But I am concerned about the size of it. I felt like they didn't come and talk that over with me and see what I thought. I wouldn't recommend it unless people could stand right over them and make sure they do what they said they were gonna do.

I keep looking at web sites for walk-in tubs. I need to see pictures of what is being offered. A salesperson came to the house, wanted $35,000, and couldn't even show pictures, or have a showroom to see the one tub that they offered. We must to be able to see and sit in one, to decide if our needs will be met, before spending our money. Any showroom in SF bay area?

I Was already sold on bath and shower..But almost didn't get it because agent was so nasty. I wanted to be clear on payments before signing the forms. The agent got very upset. He started yelling at me. My husband had to tell him don't be upset, I'm spending my money. And he calmed down. I no longer was interested but my husband wanted to move forward, so we did. He said it will be like six to eight weeks before we hear anything. About the tub installation.

The rep I spoke with at Safe Step was very knowledgeable and it was fine with the install techs. They showed me the features. The only thing is I wish the tub was a little bit longer. I feel like I'm sitting scrunched up in a little hole.

The placement of my shower for my mom to get in was a problem. So, we have another bathroom that just had a tub, and I said, “You know what? Let's check these out.” My mom is okay to get in the Safe Step, but when you open the door to get in, it hides that bar for her to grab to get in. It's behind the door. So, she tries to grab the door. I go, “No, mom. You gotta go behind the door.” She's 94 so she's not dexterous. I also can't even shut the door. It is so hard to push that handle down to make a seal. I have a hard time. I have to take a towel and help push it because it hurts my hand. So, I wasn't happy about that. That's a struggle, that I don't know how an older lady would do it by herself. It makes it a bit easier for me because I can hang on the outside. And the cleanup is a little easier, but it is hard for her to get her out and to try to grab that handlebar that is behind the door. That's crazy.

The sales rep was good and the installation team was great. But I was supposed to get $500 for putting my brother-in-law. He got a tub. Also, my sister was supposed to get $500 too, but she didn't get anything. She got one first and then I got one.

They were very quick and efficient efficient. They did put in the tub pretty good and it's working good. My favorite feature so far is the movable showerhead and my wife puts on the water bubbling through there so that she has both jets and bubbles making her feel comfortable. But she and my daughter have at least once forgotten to empty the water before opening it up. We got flooded but I showed them what to do.

The rep was real detailed in explaining things and the installers did a good job. They did it in one day and they were in and out. The tub is easy to get in and out of and a lot handier than the old one.

I love the bathtub. The tub itself is fantastic. But the installers did a terrible job. They did such a bad job that a second person had to come and clean up their mess, but he didn't do a very good job either. When he left, the rain shower doesn't even turn on now and the shower bar that holds it up to the wall is loose. He left caulk. He didn't clean up the caulk as he should've. That was what I was expecting him to take care of. I've already spoken to their customer service people and they're ready to come back and repair everything and get it right. I wanted to talk to the sales manager and when he did call me back, there was something going on with one of our phones and we kept getting disconnected.

The installers were awesome. The whole thing has been really good. I like the fact that the door swings in and not out. The seat warmer is very nice. The little towel bar on the outside and the little shower nozzle are also nice. So it's really good. I like the tub. It's worth the money.

The first people that came out and installed the tub said they can only go 48 inches high with the surround of it. But when Tim came out, he said “Oh, we can do different from that.” He used this shiplap on the walls and he did just perfect. The tub is a beautiful product and we're just getting used to it.

The installers came and installed the Safe Step tub. I had considered putting a different ceiling in, but I wasn't sure, and it was left unfinished. But the tub was in. Then after that, I had to have surgery and I was laid out for a couple of weeks. Because the bathroom is right off my bedroom, I didn't want anybody coming back. So I called Safe Step as soon as I felt better and said, "Can we get this fixed?" I got passed on and then they said somebody was coming up on Friday. But it went on and on. Sometimes they didn't return my calls. So I told them, "Look, I've given you plenty of time. It's not a big job to finish this up.” But they kept saying, "Well, we’ll be out Friday." I said, "Could you possibly do it before Thanksgiving? I'd like to share this with some of my friends. It's good PR for you.” But none of them called me back.

The rep was very informative and nice. But when the installers put that tub in, they messed up my tile. They chopped up three bucketloads of my tile. If I had known that, I could have got my tile man over here and he'd have got every bit of it and I could've saved it. When I got down there to the bedroom, they had already chopped it up and put it in the buckets and thrown it out. I also had an issue with the door. So I called the rep and told him about it last night. He said he would see what he could do. It's gonna cost me something to get my doorframe fixed. Whoever drove those nails in that doorframe didn't know how to drive a nail. It went all the way through the wood. But the installers were nice and polite. They had to come back a second time because it wouldn't drain. So the other guy came and got it straightened out.

Everything went smooth with the installation. Two people came out, and they got there around 8:30 and they were gone between 3:30 and 4:00. They did an excellent job. My dad said he liked the tub. He likes the jet where they massage his feet and his back. The tub is pretty safe. He could get in and out of it.

The sales rep was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was good. The installers did a great job. I've only used the tub once and I liked it. The only thing is it takes a little while to fill up. But my mother doesn't have a problem with that because once the water gets up to her feet where she's able to turn on the jets, she washes her feet or scrubs them, and she's using the jet. The bench has a warmer in it. My mother loves the tub.

The rep and the installers were very good. I love the tub. My favorite part is the hot water and that it covers all my legs.

The installers were excellent. I love them. I couldn’t ask for a better group. I love the tub. My favorite feature is the back massage because I had back surgery and my back is stiff and I have stiff muscle and arthritis. Plus I had bilateral knee surgery and it's good for that. I've enjoyed everything about the tub so far.

I got a walk-in tub to help my mom. Safe Step's reps were great and the installation of the tub was quick and easy. We've had it for two months and everything is good.

The installation of our walk-in tub was okay. The installers had to take out another tub and put it in. I need to get some other work done around the tub. But it was good. I like that you walk into the tub. I also like filling the tub up in the water, the Bluetooth, and the air and the massage features. So far, so good. I enjoy using the tub.

I needed to get a walk-in tub because my dad is disabled and needed to live with me. He's 91 and I am 68. We chose to get a Safe Step tub. The installers put it in and they left. Working with Safe Step was excellent and I very much like the product. I would recommend it.

Our sales rep was very professional. He came in and answered all our questions. He showed us exactly where everything would be. The installation was pretty quick. The crew didn't have all their parts the first day they came out. But on the second day, they had everything and they were in and out within a few hours. So far, no problem. The quality has been everything the salesman said it would be.

The rep explained everything and showed different materials. It was a pleasant experience. Tim and the man he had with him did a wonderful job with the installation. They were done in one day and they cleaned up. So it was a great experience as well. I love the tub. It has all the new features. I love the upgraded features. The tub is a wonderful product and I would highly recommend it to anybody.

The installers did a great job. They were very professional and everything went so smooth and they cleaned up after themself. I'm enjoying the tub so much.

Noah, the sales rep, was great. He was very informative and polite. He went step by step with us and told us to call this number if we need anything. We could contact him if we couldn't get anybody. He was all around a great guy. But we had to postpone the appointment with Safe Step. The reps were afraid of some structural damage and we had to wait for contractors to come in and check it out. All we need to do is brace it so I had to reset the appointment for the 21st of November for the installers to put in the walk-in tub.

My wife has used the Safe Step walk-in tub and been quite impressed with it. We've had to have maintenance people back here about three times because from the factory, it had some problems. But other than that, it seems to be okay now. We've been happy with it.

My first contact with Safe Step came over and I showed him what I wanted. And he jerked. I was taken aback by his quick response. He said he thought I wanted a walk-in tub. I said I wanted a floor-level tub and that he could leave. He said no and asked to show me what they have. So, he showed me the floor-level walk-in arrangement but not really a tub.

Everyone was professional and did a very nice job. We've had a couple of minor problems with the Safe Step tub and they sent out a repairman. We're waiting for a new nozzle for one of the jets and hopefully, that will solve the problem. Other than that, we love the walk-in tub.

Safe Step was easy to work with as far as setting up appointments. The reps showed up on time and was here around the amount of time they thought they would be. So, it was an okay experience. I love the walk-in tub. But somebody's coming out today because they've already got to fix something on it. There are hinges that are inside the door and there are plastic plates that cover those hinges. One of them has already come off and another one’s getting ready to come off. So, they've got to re-glue it.

The installers were super good and everything has been satisfactory to this point. My wife especially likes the Safe Step walk-in tub. She has got the onset of Alzheimer and because of that, she enjoys the lights and that it can play music. It seems therapeutic to my wife, which was the main reason for buying it.

The sales rep from Safe Step was very good. He was friendly and professional. My only issue was the salesman said that the job would take one day, and that was absolutely false. It took two and a half days because of the plumbing. They had to take out the old shower and I didn't have a problem with that. I only had a problem with the fact that he said it would be one day. I would have felt better if he had said, "We usually try to get it done in one day, but sometimes we can't." What I had to do was rearrange my schedule and that annoyed me because it was last minute. If I had an idea, then I could have planned ahead of time, and then I would have been okay.

Safe Step was by far the better tub of the best three choices that I could find. And I had them come to the house. So, I talked to Safe Step a little bit and they were the highest one. I got them down to where I wanted, so we went with it. The installation crew was great. The two guys tore the old shower out, put the tub up and they cleaned it. They did everything. They kept asking me, “Is there anything else that you know of we can do?” I suggested a couple of things, and they did it for me. They really did great.

I enjoy the Safe Step walk-in tub and I like the water jets. The salesman was kind and patient, and the installation was outstanding. The reps were very professional. They didn’t leave a mess and took everything away.

I had an old-fashioned clawfoot bathtub and now I have to use a walker, and I couldn't use the clawfoot bathtub unless there was somebody here to help me in the bathtub and supervise it. So, I wanted something that I could use myself that would make me more independent. I chose Safe Step. There were two guys here most of the day, which I understood was going to happen because it involves both electricity and plumbing. They did their job very well. A guy came that evening to check it out, and I gave him a check. It was all very much as I was told to expect. It was done very well. The installation looks great. It's sort of like my trophy thing. I haven't used it as much yet. I had to leave a few days for the epoxy to just set, but I used it a couple of times and it's great. The handheld shower is terrific, so I use that.

The Safe Step walk-in tub is great and it does everything I want it to do. My favorite is the heated seat especially now that the weather is getting cold. And I like that it is made here in the USA in Tennessee. People who are looking for a tub should definitely take a very hard look at Safe Step.

Working with Safe Step was wonderful. I love the guy that came out and showed the product to us, and he's one reason we decided to do it. He really presented it well. The people that put it in were wonderful too.

I like Safe Step. I did a little bit of research, and I wanted the company that was made here in Tennessee. So, that was even a better plus because my mother and father are both from the state of Tennessee. The sales rep who came by was good and thorough. I asked a ton of questions and I even have a picture of me in my tub out in the street because the reps brought it and asked me to sit in it to make sure that it was gonna be okay. It was a little too narrow and the rep sent it back and Safe Step built another one that was a little bit wider. So, everything was good.

Randy, the salesperson, was very thorough. When he did the demonstration and explained everything, he said it would take about three weeks before someone would call us. And the reps came out within that time. I got a phone call and they let me know when they were coming out. So, everything ran smoothly. I didn't have to call anybody. Bowen and Shane, the installers, did an excellent job. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. So, we didn't have any issues. From start to finish, the installation took about six and a half hours. I'm hoping and I'm quite sure that everything would go great. They filled the walk-in tub with water and ran the jets, and everything went well. I got the walk-in tub for my back and for the jets but mostly, I got it for my parents because they are elderly. So when they come down, they'll be able to take their bath without any issues falling.

I liked the person from Safe Step who came to speak to me and I liked what the walk-in tub looked like, although it has features I didn't care about. The installers were hard-working and quick. They had the floors cleaned and they tried to be very careful when I told them I have a front door screen that's heavy and slams loudly. The tub looks good but I was a little surprised at how long it takes to get more than ankle-deep and the water doesn't seem to get warm enough. Other than those, I love the showers - the stand-up one and the handheld one - and I’m very appreciative of the seat because I have some disability with standing for any length of time.

I wanted a company that I could depend on and who would come and fix it because it's guaranteed for my lifetime. It was reassuring that Safe Step would send somebody to a place where they were having a problem. The installers worked hard but they weren't very friendly. They had taken the door off to the bathroom and one guy stopped what he was doing because I was watching him. He put the door back in and he shut it. Also, there's a trapdoor that you can get to and that came open. He didn't tell me it was open and all the dust got into my closet. He could have told me that, that door came open and all this dust and dirt is getting in your closet or something, but he didn't. And there was a little key that I wanted and it was sitting on the windowsill and it was gone. I questioned him about it and he gave me one. He said the keys are all the same but that little key was smaller than the one he gave me.

When the sales rep came out, he looked at the space and explained the product to us completely. He spent a lot of time going over all the features and benefits. We spent as much time as we needed and he answered any questions we had. He just went over everything. He was really informative. By the time we got to the part of making a decision, the decision was pretty much already made. The Safe Step tub is everything we were looking for at a really good price.

The salesman who came out was a great salesman and I liked him. Also, the installation was a great experience. Everything worked out just fine.

What I was looking for was a transfer from a tub to just a walk-in shower. But when Safe Step came over, they explained all the shower stuff. The install was three quarters of a day. And they were very pleasant. It seemed very good. Those jets are wonderful. I have chronic back pain, and it's wonderful. It relaxes me a lot. It's a great place to have a cup of coffee at on an afternoon. I already told my sister that they should get one if they could.

The Safe Step sales rep was a really nice guy. He was very helpful. The install guys were really nice, too. It was a little bit of a difference between like when we were sold it. We didn't realize things we were going to have to do to the bathroom. I kind of had the feeling that it was going to fit into the space where we had the other Jacuzzi tub and now, we've got some tiles and boards that we have to replace on the floor because the other thing was bigger.

The sales rep was really good. The delivery guys were really, really good as well. The gentleman asked me where I wanted the handles at and he put them right where I wanted them. But it'd be nice if I had a handle by the chair. I like the seat that they put in the plan. It was really nice.

The Safe Step salesman had an appointment with me at 0900 and was here promptly and left 45 minutes later promising to return with a quote for my walk-in tub. He never came back. I called the company multiple times over the course of the next two week and never did get a quote. I was told that I was "bothering" and "being dis-respectful" the corporate offices. I have since found a contractor that is doing the work I want done but will avoid Safe Step in the future.

My mother thought that Safe Step would be a better way to feel safer in the tub and not standing in the shower. She's afraid of falling down. The installation didn't take very long at all. Everybody was friendly and it was great. Everything's nice aside from sometimes, I hold it down too long on the remote control. When the blue light flashes in the middle, I don't know what that means other than it can't recognize anything I've done for the last two minutes.

When I found out Safe Step could serve as a tub or a shower, that was appealing to me. I was very pleased with the two young men who installed it for me. One has been back to make some adjustments, so they've been easy to deal with. I felt positive about the install process.

I liked the price. And the one guy said, “You have to do it now or not.” I don't do business that way. But we still played with it. The rep was knowledgeable of everything. He was concerned with the safety end of it. It has some of those hand holds that you suction cup on the walls. Safe Step should have those in there. They're not safe. We did not get the door. They talked us out of the door, so we got the curtain. There's still a lot of water ending up on the floor outside. I like being able to stand up. The only thing is we didn't have a lot of stuff put in it. Soap, shampoo, and you almost have to open the curtains. We set it outside and that doesn't work well.

I called the number and Safe Step set up an appointment. Had a salesman come out and talk to me. My son came and sat in on the discussion, and the salesman was wonderful. I never saw anybody any more prepared than he was, and gave us the presentation and showed us everything. We put down a deposit. A few weeks later, the guys came and installed my tub. And I was tickled to death. The major one’s name was Frank. He was as personable and as fun to talk to as any installer would be. We had a wonderful experience that day.

Sometimes, I push the water jet, and I push the air jet and it opened the door. Other times, I can't get it that way. Safe Step advertised a 4-inch step out of the tub. Mine is 7.5-inch step out of the tub. I'm 90 years old and I've got arthritis. 4 inches is not that big of a deal, but I just wonder why. Everything else is okay. I'm very satisfied with it.

Whoever I spoke to made arrangements for someone to come here and speak to us, and to look at the situation with our bathroom that it needed to go in, and our electrical and water heater. And because my husband is also a military veteran, and he is on disability through the VA, all the things that you have in place for the special things like that, she deducted it from the total cost of the walk-in tub. And she said, “Well, this is how much it will cost you.” My husband put down $8,000. So, there was a balance of 13,000 that needed to be financed. She did it right there. Everything was approved the first time when she came. So, that worked out well. But my husband told me yesterday that he had already paid the tub off.

I like that our Safe Step tub opens up and I can walk in and out of it. The sales rep that sold it to us was Gary and he was very knowledgeable. He was very nice to us and he wasn't pushy. He sat down, took his time and talked to us, and we really liked him. The installers who came in were very nice, too. The installation took all day but it was well worth it. The tub is wonderful. I only fill it so full because I'm afraid of falling but it really works good. I wash my hair quite a bit in it and I really like it. Also, I was in terrible pain before we got it and I've noticed a big difference.

The Safe Step sales rep and installers were great. However, the seats are very uncomfortable for my wife because of her hip. But I know that I can always get one of those waterproof pillows and she can sit on it.

The rep was very forthcoming and personable. He knew exactly what he was talking about. The installation went very well. The techs did it in one day. I use the tub three times a week and though it's a little pricey, I really enjoy it. My wife enjoys it too especially the jet part around her leg.

I like that Safe Step is American-made and since it's American-made, you can get replacement parts easily. The rep was very nice and positive. I didn’t feel like I was wasting my time. The installers were also nice and prompt. They cleaned up everything. I really enjoy the tub. I like how it's immediately hot water. It has been a godsend as far as I have a bad knee and bad feet. It's a lot of money. I had to dip into my savings, but I felt like I needed it and it was worth it.

The Safe Step reps were quite professional and cordial. They explained things to me. The only thing was they had the hot and the cold water switched. But I like the idea of not having to put a rubber mat down. I have the chair. They put in a horizontal bar for me close to the chair and then another horizontal bar as you step out. He had put another attachment so that I could put the sprayer head down there right on the chair. So I didn't have to stand up or turn it off when I was sitting in the chair. I'm quite pleased. However, I would like to have another shower caddy. I would recommend Safe Step. The price would be objectionable to a lot of people. But it was worth it to get somebody in here that knew what they were doing.

The installation went really well. Really nice guys put the tub in. We like the tub but there's a little button on the back of it when you sit down on the right hand side and I don't know what that's for. Also, I don't know what to do with the aromatherapy stuff. Other than that, everybody who we've talked to is really nice. The tub looks really nice and we're satisfied with it.

The rep was a very nice man. There was no pressure. The installation crew members were honest people. If there was a little glitch, they explained what they'd have to do and they asked permission. They did very well. They were very thorough and when they completed the installation, they explained the tub thoroughly and left me instructions. They were very caring and it was a very personal experience. The tub is comfortable.

The sales rep was very pleasant and the installer was extremely nice. He did an extremely good job. But I'm having problems now 'cause the air quit and I've been trying since September 8th to get a service call and I can't get anybody to do it. I keep calling the service department and they keep telling me they will get ahold of the man to get a hold of me to schedule an appointment. It hasn't happened and I've called five different times. We can still use the tub and everything works except the air jets. But I'm in this thing for $22,000 and I have a lifetime warranty yet I can't get service. I'm not very happy about that.

The representative was excellent and the people who installed the tub were very good. But the tub uses a lot of water to get the full use out of it. Also, it was awfully expensive. We also had a problem finding an outlet for the aromatherapy but once we did, that was okay. The tub is easy to get into.

The Safe Step reps were very nice. However, there's not much room to sit on. If it was just a little bit wider there, not from hip to hip but from backbone to knee, it wouldn't affect getting in and out of the tub, but it certainly would make you feel safer. It is also extremely costly, but it is of good quality. I like the different jets on it. It's a longer tub than what I had. So, it's tough for me to get up on my feet. I've been in a wheelchair for 11 years now and it's really hard for me to stand up. You have to do that to reach anything behind the faucets because they're quite a distance. So, if that seat was deeper, it would be easier.

For somebody who could move around a bit and help themselves to get in and out, the Safe Step would be a very nice thing. But it's a hassle really with somebody who's almost completely unstable. My wife is not able to get around much. It's difficult getting her in and out. We also seem to be having some trouble with the drain on the thing. It doesn't work properly.

I couldn't have asked for a better rep. Also, the installers were great. I really like the tub. My brother got one 10 years ago and this is so much better than what he got. His is not anywhere near the quality of this one. I recommend the Safe Step to anybody.

I was not happy with the installation. They got the seat going the wrong way the first time. They said I ordered that, which was ridiculous. The way they had come in, I'd be facing a wall. It made no sense. The wall that they put up was very rough. I had to have somebody else come in and redo some of it. The quality of the tub is good, except they broke something downstairs in the plumbing. But it looks nice. My husband is pleased with it. I recently went in and it was nice. I thought that the water would come up higher on me. But it only goes to not even my waist.

The rep came out and showed a little movie. Then the installers came out and put the tub in. But the installation didn't go well. When the tub was in, my husband was gonna take a bath. But the thermostat was put in wrong and it was opposite of what it should have been. If he thought he was having cold water, he had hot water. Then they came and turned that. They had to change the hose because the hot and the cold was opposite of what they should have been. It seems to be okay now.

The tub leaked and my floor is ruined. They were here today and moved it so we could tear all the flooring out and replace it. The walls are black. The drywall and wood are molded. We got the tub July the 5th and we have never used it yet. First time my wife tried to use it, the water ran out the door. So, they had to come back and replace the door. At the same time, they found the leak and turned it off, but it already ran for a month. I talked to them Monday and they showed up today and took the tub out. We pulled a part of the floor up. It's completely soaked. It's got to be all completely replaced and the walls are gonna have to be replaced. I got a contractor coming tomorrow to see what the damage is gonna cost to fix the floor and walls. It happens, they're getting it taken care of and that's the main thing.

They came in and showed us the product and what it would look like. The tub is very good. I like the heat and the bubblers. It's good for me because I just had surgery on my feet.

The man that did the installation was very knowledgeable and I was happy. It was an excellent job.

Mike was a smooth talker. The worst part was that they brought the wrong tub. So they took it back and we had to wait two weeks for the correct tub to arrive. They installed the correct tub but we had to wait five weeks for our receipt of payment. Now it's six weeks and we're still waiting for an amendment of our contract. Since they delivered the wrong tub the first time, we need an amendment of our contract when they delivered the correct tub. We have called many times to ask for an amendment of our contract. Not only that, but we're still waiting for it to be inspected. We don't know who's supposed to inspect it. They make promises but they don't fulfill them.

When the salesman from Safe Step came, he told us that the people coming to do this installation would be certified plumbers and electricians, which was a lie. Neither of them was certified in anything. I asked them when they got here and they just do installation work. But the fellas were nice enough. I did have one issue with the way they did the work. They had to run an electric line across the outside of my home to run current in for this unit. I asked them if they were going to put that in a PCV conduit and the guy said they didn't work with conduit. The best they could do would just run the PCV line on the outside of the house.

I had a Safe Step tub previously. My new SS Tub has so many new features! I love the aromatherapy, the microsystem. It drains so quickly! The shower is flexible and easy to use!. The lighting system is soothing. My neighbors are envious! Looks beautiful in my bathroom!

Jill came and explained and told me how they work. By the time I was ready to purchase my tub, they had a lot of features added to it, which was comfortable for me to use. The installer was a very friendly person. I did call Safe Step back because they had to pull some of the areas from my tub so that it could get to the plumbing, and it wasn't sealed back properly. They said to take pictures and I took pictures but nobody came back to fix it.

I like the tub. It looks good. I also like the jets.

There are a couple of things that are problematic, but I can work around them and I'm doing fine with my Safe Step tub. I'm a larger woman midriff. I don't have a lot of room to squeeze myself into a position to be able to open the door to be able to get out. Other than that, everything's fine. The quality is good because it's a great, seamless apparatus and it doesn't creak, leak, and move around. It seems to function great. The thing I like the most is the water whirling around when I'm done washing up. I have a lot of arthritis and the tub seems to help with it.

The sales rep was able to find the perfect tub for my father and get it to him within a week and a half. They had it in stock over here in Albuquerque. My brother did the installation and the representative went over in detail what to do. The tub is working well.

The sales rep seemed to be able to answer any questions we had and the installers seemed nice. The caulking could have been a little bit neater, though, but the tub is fine.

We love our tub and the guys who installed it were amazing. But we started noticing that whenever we would drain it, it would leak at the bottom. One of the pieces on the hinges came off as well. I called the number that was on the website and I could never get through to a person. When I left a message, nobody called back. Ryan was the representative that we ordered it from and he gave me a number that he likes to use. That's when I finally got a human being.

The installers did a wonderful job. They had to cut a big hole in my father's bedroom to get it into the bathroom, but they put a panel up so there's easy access to everything in it. It looks pretty good. The only thing was there was a shelf at the wall that I couldn't move. I told them, “Well, you guys would have to move that,” and they didn't. They didn't caulk the wall that they put up next to the wall that's in the trailer. They did leave a can of caulk, and I didn't ask them to. It took me several days before I found that, and I called him and that's when he told me that. But I'm disabled and my mother's disabled too, so we can't do it either. So it's like an unfinished job. But he said that I could take some cleaner and get the pencil marks off the wall.

I love Safe Step. I like standing there with the water just running all over my head, all the way down my body. I got a girlfriend down in South Carolina who's interested in getting one.
