Safe Step Walk-In Tub Reviews

They're all the same and I wanted the Safe Step shower. The installers got the job done, but they didn't fill in where the drain went in the floor and there was a hole. They also need to watch the caulk on their fingers when they touch other stuff. They got it on one spot on my dryer, but it's all right. I got it off. I'm too big for the tub though. We got it so that I won't fall down and the door hits my knee.

The salesperson was knowledgeable, and he was very courteous. He worked really hard and made sure we got what we needed. We had a little trouble right after we got the tub though. The next day the electricity hadn't worked and they sent another guy out. With what was going on with the state shut down, he wasn't able to get here until about three weeks later. Anyway, when I get in the tub, my husband supervises me if I'm okay. I'm a chronic pain patient and when I get done, I'm very much relaxed.

The Safe Step salesman, Mike, was a great salesman and a good guy. He kinda convinced me it might be the way to go. The only thing that bothered me was that it was pretty expensive and it wasn’t something I was gonna use a lot. But my girlfriend convinced me that she would like it and that had a lot to do with the purchase. The thing that I like most about the tub is my girlfriend loves it. She soaks in it by the hour and she's satisfied that I bought it. I've used it a couple of times and it’s complicated to get it going the way I want it. I love to shower and it’s not a great shower facility. I wanted something simpler so I could stand up and take a shower and maybe sit down. I have neuropathy. My balance isn’t real good. I wanted to get something where I could kinda hang on when I take a shower, which I can do in my shower downstairs. It’s good quality. I just think it’s a little too complicated for me.

The sales rep was great. He had all the information there and he was good in demonstrating the walk-in tub. The installation was great too. It took a couple of hours and it was easy, professional and a good job. The two people cleaned up after themselves as well. I recommend Safe Step. Using the tub, the microbubbles are great and I’ve got a thing I put in my face down in the water so I can breathe.

I had a tub installed last year. After a month the tub started making a loud grinding noise when no one is using the tub and the water didn't stay warm. I have called, emailed, chatted and messaged for the past 5 months trying to get service to contact me and come out. NO ONE will call me back, they just say they will forward my information and nothing. Don't trust them. They are NOT worth it!

The sales rep who came over was good and we liked him. The installation went well, too. I like that it has a shower in it. Overall, we like everything about our Safe Step walk-in tub.

The Safe Step Walkreps was decent. He had his routine and stuck to it. And ultimately, even though it was more money than I wanted to spend, I still did it, because the product seemed a little better than a couple of others that I already looked at. The installers left a couple of rough spots here and there, but for everything that they had to do, things came out pretty good overall.

We had different people come and talk to us about tubs and one of the Safe Step salesmen came and caught us at the right time because I still don’t see the basic difference in them and a couple other ones then. The installers did a pretty good job. When we had a problem I fixed it because they never came to fix. I have nothing against the way they put it in but it’s just not what I thought it would be.

When I found out the cost of Safe Step, I figured it was probably on the high side compared to some of the others. But then, it had some different features so I just went with it. The rep seemed to have all the knowledge. He went through the whole brochure and told me about all the features, which ones most people went with and why some people didn't go with all the features. He seemed to have the answers and I didn't doubt him.

The man who came one day explained Safe-Step's tub to me really well. I got one and the installation of my tub took about two hours. So far, I like the jets and how the tub is so comfortable. The tub helps me get in and it has made a big difference since I got it. I've been showing it to others and telling them what difference it makes.

Everything was fine with the salesman. When I was talking to him when he came, I told him that I wanted the water to be the same temperature so I wouldn't have to mess with it at all. I can turn the water on and it would be hot enough but not boiling. They said they could do it and when I went to use it and turned it on, everything did come out fine. The tub works great. The heater is in the floor and the sink and they adjusted the water so that it’s the same temperature all the time. The installers were in and out. It was much less time than I thought it was gonna take and they installed everything perfectly as far as I can see.

I have pretty bad arthritis. The salesman told me that before Safe-Step designed the tub, they went to an arthritis place and talked to see what was more needed for people with arthritis. The installation went pretty good and the quality of their work was fine. The crew was here for a part of two different days. They seemed very nice and they did their part. I checked with them every once in a while and then they had started putting something down that I did not order. The surround was a different color than what I’d ordered so that stopped everything. They had to reorder that for me but they were fine with it. We got it back to exactly the way I ordered it.

The sales rep was a nice guy. The first week and a half that I had the tub installed, I didn’t use it at all because the drain part was busted and the water wouldn’t go out very quickly. They tightened it up too much and it busted. But somebody came and replaced it. So far, I’m the only one that’s seen the tub and I can’t really enjoy it simply because of the 55-gallon that goes into it. So much water goes in it that it doesn’t hold the heat. But it has nothing to do with the tub. My water tank is too small. By the time it gets halfway up, the water turns cold and I almost freeze to death. So I gotta get a bigger tank. I've only used the tub twice and if the water was warmer instead of getting kept chilly, it would be great.

The salesman was so professional and he was able to describe each single feature and why that particular feature is done superior to other brands. Not only comparing to other brands, but how they came across developing the improvements over years and how they would go to different places and get their opinions and they would prove on things. He was so knowledgeable in his product. We were just wanting to get a tub, but the things that they had with their microbubble thing would be perfect for dad’s skin. We bought it for my dad. With the videos that they showed us, they really, really sold the product and we’re very happy with it. Whereas the salesman from Kohler, they were mainly selling the brand. We wanna know if Kohler is a good brand, but he didn't really sell the tub, and it was twice the price of Safe Step. So it was almost like they were skating on their brand.

After my walk-in tub was installed in last month I had a problem with microbubbles. I called service hotline on 3/2/2020 and left message, called 3/4/2020 and was informed I would be called back within 48hr. After waiting 5 days I called on 3/9/2020 and was told someone would call by end of day. To this day I have received no calls!

I saw that Safe Step had more attachments and I liked the big rain shower so, that drew me towards them. Then the salesman came here and presented me what it was like. And then I said, I wanna give him a chance. The only problem I had with it was when I saw the rain shower, I thought that extended towards the seat where you sit but it doesn’t. I’m handicapped a little bit, so I can’t stand up for an amount of time. So, that rain shower really doesn’t do me any good. And that’s the reason I bought it. If a pipe came out another five inches, then it would be fine. But other than that, it’s worked okay. The rest of the shower is nice. How we get in and out of it is fine too.

My wife has mobility problems and the tub is all new to her so it’s a little bit scary. But she’s learning and getting used to it. She’s fine. Safe Step was the only one we looked at. We were so satisfied with the representative that we didn’t think we needed to take a look at anyone else. They were excellent. They were very knowledgeable and personable. We got the ‘19 model. The only thing that was available on the ’20 that wasn’t available on the 19 was the extra jets. We also added handrails. The installation took approximately eight hours to complete and the contractors were very good. Their work was high-quality.

We like our Safe Step walk-in tub. It’s safe for people. And the installers did a good job putting it in. However, the water is set to a certain temperature, but I like mine just a little bit warmer. Also, we don't have the heated seat in ours so by the time it gets filled up, the water is not as warm.

Our experience with Safe Step was perfect. We had an old bathroom so we needed something new. And we're getting older, so we wanted something that was easier to use. You don't have to lift your legs over a tub with Safe Step. And it looks nice. They did an absolutely fabulous job.

Safe Step's sales rep, Darius, was great. He's a nice guy and he answered all the questions. The installation guys were also great. I like the idea of the shower being in the tub. The only thing I don't like about it is they give you the small pillow to put your head against and it gets saturated with water, and it has to be constantly wrung and it won't get moldy. They could have an attachment or something on suction cups that would go on the back of the tub so you could put your head back on it. But other than that, my wife is happy. She had double knee replacement and she couldn't get in the other tub without help. With the walk-in tub, now she can get right in there with no trouble at all.

The door had to be changed to get the tub in. Also, we’re gonna have to get a new water heater because it’s not large enough. That would be a “nice to know” beforehand. The salesman should have said something. Moreover, the installers broke a glass door down at the carport, and I had to clean that up. The tub has a door that doesn’t fit too well. At the bottom on the entrance side, you can see the gasket and we just don’t trust that much. Other than that, the tub is working out well. Donald had neuropathy in his feet and he also has multiple myeloma cancer. The walk-in tub is therapeutic.

I had an American Standard walk-in tub and the door leaked. They said they were gonna come out with a new door, but they can't even do that because the thing's out and there's no electricity hooked up, plus there's no plumbing. The whole unit is warped and I don't even think it's a tub. And it's been four months but they never came out to fix it.

Everything went really good with Safe Steps. The product is of very good quality and it's easy to use which I like. I also like the convenience and the therapeutic value of how it feels so good when you can sit in the hot water for an hour at a time and have water moving around. I'm very satisfied. But the installers had a rough time on the day of the installation. It was pouring rain and they had to set up in the garage then come through the house to get to the upstairs bathroom. But they did a good job. They stretched a tarp all the way from the garage to the kitchen, to the dining room, to the hall, up the stairs, and around the corner to the bathroom. That way, they didn’t track in any dirt, dust or sawdust or anything. It turned out to be a very clean installation.

My Safe Step walk-in tub takes too much water and it takes a long time for it to fill up. I really don't like that, so I don't fill it all the way up. It's also the reason why I wouldn't use the tub all the time. If you're in a hurry, you don't use that. But I like the shower. I get in it and can get out pretty fast. Also, instead of stepping over in a bathtub, you can walk in the Safe Step, close the door, and feel safe in it. Once there, you can sit down and shower. I like those features and I like the one that you can sit and rinse it down. All in all, I have been above satisfied with my experience. And when I bought the tub, the rep I dealt with was a good salesman. Everything was fine with the installation, too.

My wife and I are both in our 60's and it has been hard to get in and out of a regular bathtub. We got a Safe Step Walk-in Tub and the people who installed it were very professional. However, we were deceived upfront with the water heater. Safe Step needs to tell consumers that a 40-gallon water tank isn't going to fill up their tubs. We ended up having to get two 50 gallon water heaters. Still, what we got is a good product and we use it a ton.

My wife uses our Safe Step tub and she loves it. We’re getting old and she was worried about the dangers of stepping into a bathtub. She wanted one with a door for safety reasons, primarily. The installation went very well and they were very professional. There was a plumber, electrician, a carpenter and they knew exactly what to do, and they went right to it and did it all in one day, which was remarkable. The sales rep was also very nice and made us feel at ease. We liked the product. We saw the videos, the brochure and then the experience with concentrating only on one product, and that was just being generous.

I like the features of Safe Step. They did a great job installing it. I like the way the MicroSoothe and the jets were positioned. But my remote quit working the second day that I got it, so I guess it needs a battery. The door is also a little harder to get into than I thought. They need to redesign the door. It's also very expensive. But my experience with Safe Step has been great.

My husband and I are both enjoying our Safe Step walk-in tub. But we’ve taken more showers than baths. The installation team were some super guys. They did a really great job and were very, very thorough. They did everything in the same day. They left by 4:00 in the afternoon. Quinn, the sales rep has also been wonderful. I’ve called and he talked to me. And there’s a couple of things I want. I didn't get the cushion that goes in my seat. He said he’s gonna get that to me and then he gave me the liquid. But I don't think I'm gonna use a lot of that because I have asthma and I don’t like a lot of scent. But he said he thought I could. He’s very sweet.

I purchased the tub due to a diagnosis of cancer of the hip bone. I am tall and expected the bathing area to be cramped. I purchased the tub. Very nice rep; tub was made, delivered in an acceptable time frame and was installed in a day. Installation mess was fairly well cleaned up, but for the basement area, where I had to clean up from the drain installation and the electric work. All in all things are okay.

My Safe Step Tub is working nicely. However, before the installation, I told the sales rep that I wanted a heater but when he transferred it to the computer, it wasn’t there so I didnt get the heater that was supposed to come. I needed to speak to the installer and he told me to look it up on the contract. He wasn't there to provide me phone numbers.

My husband loves our tub from Safe Step. He has degenerative discs in his back. Even with the shower being the way it was, it was unsafe for him 'cause he'd slip. So, he's prone to falling 'cause he loses his balance, so we got the Safe Step for him to be safer. I also liked what they had to offer. The sales rep was very informative and he didn't pressure, the item sold itself. He explained all the advantages of it and how it would benefit my husband, and then all the discounts that would be affiliated with it because he qualified for certain things. He was just a very pleasant man. The installation went great. They came in, put it all together and had it up and running. They were very professional. We had no problems with them at all.

My mom was very pleased with the rep. He did a very nice job and they were very pleased with that. And then, the installation went perfectly. The only thing that could be improved would be that Safe Step might want to advise people a bit better about water heater capacity in the actual sales of it. It needs to be a bigger water heater. But other than that, my mother loves it. She had a knee replacement. The tub enables her to have a nice normal bath and she likes it very much.

I like how the sales rep explained everything and was so knowledgeable about the product. The installers got here at 7:30 and were gone by 11:15, and you couldn’t even tell they’d been in the house, except for the new tub. I purchased a Safe Step tub due to my age and my need for a safer bathing experience. I like the tub's ease of use and the quality is very good.

My wife uses the Safe Step tub and she enjoys it. We purchased it because it was a package deal, tear out installation. Everything was taken care of in good order. We had wonderful installers, and everything went according to plan. We really enjoyed the installers.

My wife has some health issues and I thought that the Safe Step might help her with them. The sales rep seems a good guy. Two guys came in and they had the old one torn out and a new one installed in about four hours. I was really impressed with them. I like that the tub is a quality built product. Everything’s very good. It's just a little different than a conventional tub and shower. It needs just getting a little used to it.

I love the Safe Step tub. I don’t have to walk over to get in it. I’m 82, and with my other tub, I was afraid I was gonna slip when I got in it, and I just couldn’t afford that. The jets in the Safe Step are not strong. I thought they were gonna be stronger. But all of the water helps my body and I like it. The installers were wonderful. I felt safe with them and my puppy fell in love with them. The sales rep explained everything to me. He has one too and he told me what it did for him.

Six years ago, I bought a shower from Safe Step. I love the shower. I needed to do something, and I decided to get their walk-in tub. I was very impressed with the installers. I’m satisfied with Safe Step. I’ve tried to see how the tub works and it works all right. But I haven’t used it yet. I fell and hurt my shins and I was told by the doctor not to use the tub until the scabs are gone.

We called Safe Step and the guy came out and evaluated everything. The installation was just in a few hours. They came in late morning and left about 3:00 in the afternoon. The sales rep was also great. We got Safe Step just in time. Bill had a stroke the next day. So, it came in real handy. If we hadn’t had it, he’d be in the hospital. He thought he’d wind up in the nursing home if we hadn’t had that. We’re satisfied. Bill keeps falling all over the place and it’s a safe thing for him. We had to go to the lawn closet and get a tub stool for him to sit on. This way, we have everything right there. We also like the shower.

Safe Step has been out there long enough to have cleared up any kind of problems so as far as any kind of working apparatus, we thought we'd go with them to get a walk-in tub. The rep we had was great and he answered questions for us that especially pertain to our family. Then the installers came early and finished quickly. There was one part that was broken so they had to bring another. When the tech came out with the part to fix it, I asked him where the shut off valves was. and he showed me. He said there was only one and that I needed one on each line. They came out again and installed one.

Safe Step's salesman believes in the product, knows about it, and can sell it. Moreover, the installation went perfectly. The guys were very good and the quality of their work was way above average. The only hard thing we had about the experience was coming up with the money.

The man that came out who we bought the Safe Step from was super nice and so was the crew that put it in. They all were perfect gentlemen and just as sweet as they could be. They set the tub in the living room when they got it. My husband is a large man and they made us get in it to make sure it was gonna be comfortable and everything. Then, they left the house perfectly clean. They cleaned up after themselves and took care of everything.

Installation was from 8:00 am to 9:00pm. Tub was installed on Feb 11, 2020. The design needs to be improved. The seat is too high, the back needs to be more slanted. It is uncomfortable. I consider it a $17,000 MISTAKE. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

During the installation of our Safe Step tub, it wasn’t the best day ‘cause it was raining. But the installers did a pretty good job of it, trying to keep everything as clean as they could. It’s a pretty good tub. But I have a problem with where you turn the shower from shower to tub, it’s just a handle, and it doesn’t seem to have a good discernible off position where you’re absolutely sure that it’s off. But overall, my experience with Safe Step is good.

My husband has fallen out of the other kind of tub backward and he couldn’t get in and out of it by himself. He and I both were 78 years old. He's also got Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s real bad. I thought that Safe Step would help him and it does help him walk better, makes his legs quit hurting, and he walks a little better since he's been getting in it. But I hate that I got it. I don’t like the way you have to clean it up. The tub is also really too little for him. His arm touches each side and he has trouble closing the door on him. Now, then they are advertising a walk-in shower. That’s what I wanted to start with. But the guys that were supposed to give me estimates would never get together and give me an estimate. So, I just let it go.

I've seen Safe Step, American Standard and all of the other companies advertised. I figured that Safe Step was the best bet because the only thing they make is the walk-in tub. The sales rep covered everything I asked him and gave me a good briefing on the tub. The installation was outstanding and the guy that installed it was excellent. He came back two or three times later to put up curtains around it ‘cause it is too far from the wall. I haven't had the tub that long, but so far, it’s been outstanding.

I’ve been getting vouchers in the mail and I get Safe Step on the television on Pat Boone and on Play Bridge Hall. The installers came in the morning and took the old tub out, and put the walk-in tub in. They were clean about it. The only thing is, the reps at Safe Step balanced the numbers a little bit wrong. $14,000 is a lot of money and my first payment was 200-and-something. I was told that I was gonna pay $188. They got three extra charges that I didn’t know about and I wasn’t told about.

When I was having a hard time getting out of my tub, I felt that Safe Step would help me stay in my house instead of having to move to a retirement place. I had expected the installers to take all day, they only took from about 9:00 until11:00. All of the things that you needed to do weren't explained so well. But I finally figured it out. The back jets are my favorite features, but I had those in my other tub, too. There just weren't as many. Also, if a person was very big, it would have to have the outside where the door came out to go in. When I rethought about the experience, I paid too much.

I was looking for a walk-in tub and I saw Safe Step's ad on the paper. I looked into how their tub was made and I called them. I had a very good experience with the representative who came out and he seemed to know what was going on. He answered all of our questions too. On installation day, the team got here about 8:00 in the morning and they finished up at about two o’clock. They did a good job.

When we were buying the Safe Step tub, we didn't hit the price till the tail-end. The rep said the first process was to get me all these discounts. Then he asked me how I was gonna pay for it and I said we would pay by check. He told me he could give me $1,000 off. I asked him if 1,000 is the interest and if it was, then it should be 2,000. He said that AARP gave them high ratings and that the tub is good for older people. But I thought if AARP was giving them the A-1 rating, then why wouldn't they give us a break and give us 2,000? Though the discounts helped, it was cut in half. I was wondering why he wouldn't tell me upfront that if I pay cash, then I'm gonna get this discount and if I refinance it, then it won't be available. He snuck it on me.

My parents live with me and we wanted something for them ‘cause they couldn’t use the standard bathtub. When I looked around, I saw an ad about Safe Step in the magazine and I was attracted by the fact that it was made in America. Then, I dealt with their sales representative who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was a great guy.

The installation of our walk-in tub was quick and the installers did a very good job the first time they were here. Then when I wanted to add the shower mechanism, the technician that they sent out took a very long time. He also didn't have that level of expertise that I would've liked. I had to call the company back because he did a really bad job of the caulking. Later, my son was painting the room in there and he said there was caulk missing in several spots.

I went on the internet and looked up tubs. I liked the reviews on Safe Step. Also, I liked the tub and everything that it does. I thought it would be a great thing to have. The sales representative came to the house and showed me what he had. I was kinda disappointed with him because he didn't really tell me the size of the tub. He gave me the measurements and he said if I could fit in this recliner, I'm set. That's how big it would be. But I was kinda like misled. I barely fit in there and I could barely close the door. Then, they came in and they put it up on a ledge so my tub is up on this ledge.

Price was a big part of my decision going with Safe Step, and then their representative who came out was very nice. He has very good knowledge of the product and professionalism. The installation crew is normally two guys but only one came. He said that his assistant was sick and he told him to go home. So, only one person did all of it but he did a great work. He got everything cleaned up before he left about 6 o'clock in the evening.

I read about the Safe Step walk-in tubs in the Sunday edition of the Tupelo Daily Journal out of Tupelo, Mississippi. I have a 95-year old mother that lives with me and she wanted it. I dealt with the sales rep named Joe and he was excellent. He was not pushy and was very personable. He explained beautifully and answered all of our questions.

After looking around for walk-in tubs, we finally decided that Safe Step is the best one. The sales representative who came out was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The installation crew was very professional also and we had no problem whatsoever. The walk-in tub is still new to us but I like the convenience. I really appreciate the jets. I had a very favorable experience and it's a great tub.

The salesman of Safe Step was really nice. The tub is pretty and I'm very satisfied.

Everything worked out fine. The people from Safe Step were easier to deal with. The installers did their job. They came in and did everything. I was getting a lower end tub, but they couldn't supply it, and they kept having to change the appointment. So, they just gave me a higher-end tub for the same price. I can't really complain in anyway for getting a much more expensive tub than I had expected to get.

When I was having problems and didn't understand what was going on, the representative was very helpful. She explained things very well. The people that helped me and put the tub in were really nice too. I like the tub. I really appreciate being able just to step into the shower and not have to climb over the tub. But the door is hard to close because the space is small. It would be better if the tub didn't have that shape. But it's okay. I get around it. Also, the water was not coming out very good, and they suggested that I get a plumber to come and check it. The plumber just found something really minor. Once the plumber took care of the water, it was fine. They couldn't come right away, but when they did come, they fixed it up very well.

The installers came out and did a great job. The tub helps. I’m kinda old, and so is my wife. We know our bones and we need something like this. It’s the greatest thing we’ve ever had.

I have very bad arthritis in my knees and my lower legs and I got the Safe Step walk-in tub because I thought it would help me with the pains. But I haven’t been able to use it because I'm very confused with the controls. The diagram in the book is not the same as what's in the tub, although they showed it to me when they installed it. I was going to call Safe Step today to see if I could get somebody out here to tell me how to use it, because I'm by myself all day, so I'm afraid of getting locked into it and not being able to get out. The saleslady was very nice. The only thing I was surprised at was that it took over a month from the time I signed the contract ‘til the time they installed the tub. I didn’t expect that, but it was not the saleslady’s fault. It was the fault of the County of Davie. They have a very extensive inspection rules before they issue a permit, and their permitting times are terrible. So far, I'm satisfied with my experience with them.

The sales rep was excellent and he was very thorough. Installation was very thorough as well and they did an exceptional job. I like the jets and the accessibility, and the comfort of it included in one small tub size unit.

My wife had a stroke and then had open-heart surgery and I have COPD. We got problems moving around and we needed something to get in and out of easy. She likes the jets on Safe Step so we brought them in and talked to them. The installation was quick. They did it quicker than they thought they were gonna do it. It didn’t take a full day. The walk-in tub is fine but we can't put a shower curtain in it. So the water from the shower goes out on the floor. Also, I’d like to see one other bar put in. There are only two bars in, there’s one on the right side near the front and one on the left side up front. There’s nothing back there by the seat. If there was one closer to the door, it would be easy.

We had an interest in a Safe Step Walk-in Tub for a long time because we moved from the north in Virginia, down here in 1996, and we had a house built. It was the only house we’ve ever had built which was one of the mistakes that we made. That tub that we had there was too small for me. Neither one of us felt comfortable getting in and out of it at all. I was in it one time and my wife was never in it in 23 years. So, it was waste of space, and the shower that’s in that bathroom is fine for my wife, but it’s a little small for me. I didn’t feel claustrophobic, but I thought to myself, “Just one of these days, I’m gonna fall down in this shower, and I’m not gonna be able to move to get up.”

The one thing I didn't like, and I guess we might have missed it, was that if they put holes in the wall, they patch it but they don't come back and match the paint. I didn't notice that till a day or two afterwards. I called and they said, "It's in the contract that we don't do that." But they should have reminded us upfront. I said, "We could take a couple more dollars off to have somebody come in and do it." But they said no. Nonetheless, the tub looks nice and it seems to work well. Other people have come in and they seem to really like it. It was costly, but my wife could really use it since she's disabled.

The Safe Step walk-in tub is a great tub but there's a few flaws in it, and the installation was so-so. They put the tub it in there a little crooked. It's got shelves around it and I told the guy to make the shelves where they drain back in the tub, but he got it where when you take a bath, it runs water out in the floor. The pipes to the shower should extend out about four to six inches more where it gets the showerhead out in the tub to not blowing water all over the place. I think they've got the same shower fixture for all sizes of tub, and it's made for the small tub. I got the medium-sized tub which puts it too far to the front.

The sales rep explained everything very well and showed us the movie and everything going on that it would do. That was what really got us. I needed the tub done quickly and the installers were very quick and confident in themselves with what was going on around them -- we have two dogs but they don't bite. I haven't got to use the tub much 'cause I fell and broke my leg in two places and it went up into my knee. And I'm in the hospital. That was why I needed the tub. I used the tub probably five times and it was great. We're getting a new water heater, the tankless one, to have all the hot water we want. My mother-in-law, sister-in-law and husband live there so we got four people taking showers, but my mother-in-law and I use that shower.

I’ve been asking my mom for five years to get Safe Step. The sales rep was very informative, enough to describe what’s at the back. He was also very professional. The installers were very clean and professional as well and they had to come back and redo a seal. My mother likes the jets. The only thing is if there is a different showerhead.

We listened to their sales pitch and felt the tub they recommended was right for me. I am disabled with rheumatoid arthritis. When the installers arrived, they were unable to install the tub due to the angle of the door. They would have to do some serious destruction. They suggested a smaller tub. I can’t use a smaller one because I am plus size. I have requested my deposit returned. I sent a form they provided, a phone message and an email. Any reputable company would have immediately returned my deposit. Legal action is the next step.

The sales rep explained everything to me. The tech guy came on the scheduled day and cleaned up everything. The door leaked one time and the tech told me what to do. Then I cleaned it up and it leaked again. I called the tech yesterday, he returned my call and he said he’d be at my house today at 5 o’clock. Overall, from what I see, it’s a good tub and it’s safe. I have an 82-year old mother and my wife has bad knees, and it’s good for her back.

I like the jets feature of the tub. Everything is fine except that we'd like it to be hotter. We purchased Safety Step for safety reasons since we had a tub there that was too high for us to get into. We also had a shower but it was too easy to slip, to fall in there. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and polite. It was nice working with him. The installation took all day, but the young men who did it were really nice to work with and fun to talk to.

The Safe Step sales rep was very polite, but he didn’t give us a choice of the tub that we could pick out. It was our fault because we did not ask him what kind of choices do we have. The installation team was great. They came in, they cleaned up and they were polite too. And any furniture that had to be moved in order for them to bring the tub in, they put it back in place without any problem. I like that Francis can sit down and enjoy taking a shower in our Safe Step Walk-in Tub. His favorite feature is the jets. He’s getting a massage with it. I like everything about it. I just wish it's a little wider because the way the door is, he can barely get in. But it was our fault. We should’ve asked for a door that swung out instead of one that swung in. The only problem I have with it is when you let the water full almost up to the top and you put on the back jets and sit on it, it hits your back and the water comes over the top of the tub.

We’re old and our Safe Step makes us feel better. I did the installation and it was easy. I thought it was a little bit too high even though I got a pretty good price. Also, Safe Step is in Tennessee. I complained and they sent me two doors. I can fit the doors on it. I thought it was complete all the way around because I didn’t want to build that thing. I’d just taken my old one out and set it down in its place when I put the tile down. When I complained, the rep called me back and he said, “I thought I explained it to you that the sides and the back wasn’t built in.”

I have a lot of problems with my legs and I’m having a hard time lifting them over in the tub to get my bath. I’ve been looking at a lot of tub companies, and Safe Step's ad was talking about a free shower and all that stuff. So I just drove in to see, and then they explained what they were doing. And I really loved the way the guy went with it. I had talked to my son about this walk-in tub and how it would be marvelous for me to get this tub in. The installation then went great and the installers cleaned up after themselves. Now, I’ve been getting a lot of people to try it and I show them how good it will be for them. I got arthritis all over my body and it really helps me when I get in the tub.

I did research online and there was some independent study that recommended Safe Step as the top one for people with arthritis. It was very good with the sales rep, except for the fact that he said it takes about three minutes to fill up, and that’s way off. I was a little skeptical at the time, but it takes about eight minutes. It takes three minutes to drain, but I know he said three minutes to fill up. And so, that was a little disappointing to me. The installation team was as nice as they could possibly be, and very professional. I had some electricians out that were working on something else at the time. My house is 100 years old so it’s a lot easier to put stuff on the outside of the house than it is inside and through the house because of the plaster walls. And so, the installation team took the wiring outside, and my electrician noticed and told me that he believed the wiring was not up to code for the outside of the house.

They were very responsive to sell their product, but have been trying for a week to get someone to call me back for an issue with the system and crickets. Too bad their product service department isn't as attentive and responsive as their sales team.

My husband chose Safe Step because I had cancer and I couldn't get out of my tub too good. I was struggling to get in and out. So he was trying to make it easier for me. Everything with Safe Step went good. The sales rep explained everything. She showed us a demonstration of how it was put in, how the jets and the door work, and where the handle is gonna be. She was really nice about it. They made the tub look nice in there and it's comfortable. I like everything about it. It's easy to get in and if I get tired of standing, I can sit down. If I wanna take a relaxing bath or if I wanna take a shower, I can.

Safe Step's sales rep came over the house and I already determined that I was gonna get one, so I had to ask her halfway through her presentation about the bottom line. She said she could show me a couple more things, so I sat there and let her go through the whole thing. She was wonderful but I didn’t know it was gonna cost the amount of money it did. I also asked some questions and I called and got answers off of their representatives at their 1-800 number. So, everything was fine. It came in on Monday and the installers were great as well. So far, I've only used the shower because I don't have enough hot water for the tub right now. I need to get a larger water heater or a tank-less water heater.

The sales rep of Safe Step was very good. He explained anything I asked him. And the man that put it in did a good job and they cleaned up after themselves, so I was very pleased with it. Everything went really well. I’ve really enjoyed this tub since I’ve got it put in. I have a lot of back trouble. I’ve had several back surgeries and I don’t sleep very well, and the tub has helped me where I have been resting better, and I appreciate that.

I saw Safe Step advertised and I thought it looked like a good deal. I didn't check with anybody else, which I should have. The instruction book says that if you’re on any kind of medication, you should check with a doctor before using the jets, I suppose. But that should’ve been discussed with me before I bought it. You don’t wait till you put in a $16,000 tub and then consult with your doctor to see if it’s all right to use it. Also, the time you get the tub filled up and drained back out is 45 minutes, which is just too long. And when I get out of the tub, there's water on my bathroom floor and I can’t figure out where it’s coming from. I’m sorry I bought it and I wish I have my money back.

The ratings on the internet said Safe Step was number one. The sales rep who came out could have told us a little more about the tub than he did but he was okay. The installation team took a day to put the tub in and they had done a good job. I had ordered a white tub, and the one they gave me was a biscuit color. One person told me that that was their white, but I don't believe that. A second person told me that they would have somebody look at it. When I first contacted them, it was over a month ago. And then they called me back about a week ago and said somebody would contact me, but I haven't heard anything yet. Also, the third service panel keeps falling off in the floor. I told them about that too. And then it didn't have as many jets as I would have liked to. I didn't know that it didn't have that many. But overall, I'm satisfied with it.

The salesperson of Safe Step was great. He was very nice. He was very confident about the product and explained everything to us and I love it. The installation team was good, as well. My favorite feature of the tub is the jets. Since having this tub, I sleep better after I get out of it. It also helps a whole lot with my back problems.

Safe Step had to widen my door frame to get the tub in and they left kind of a messed up wall. I had to get a contractor to come in and fix it up. But they ended up paying for it, which I was satisfied for. Also, the holding bracket that holds the plumbing in for the overhead rainfall shower is loose and I’ve got somebody coming in today to fix that. Plus, I’m gonna end up having to get a larger capacity water heater because the tub runs out of hot water before it fills all the way up if we’re using other things in the house, like the oven or something else that uses gas. So, that’s some extra money I was planning on using. I got to fill the tub with water at one time, albeit with cool water at the end. Other than that, it’s a nice unit and I like the convenience of being able to take a shower or sit in there and soak as soon as I get a bigger hot water heater where I can do it more often.

We did several estimates of tubs and Safe Step seemed like it was gonna be the best one. The sales rep was good and he was fair, but I kind of expected him to get back in touch with us after the tub was installed to see how everything went. I haven’t heard a hi and hey from him since then. Also, it took the installers longer than it was supposed to do the installation, which I understand. But when they sold it to us, I was told it was gonna be a really simple installation. We just had the condo that we just bought painted. It turned out that the installers needed to cut a couple of holes in the ceiling. Now, I gotta get those plastered and repainted. This was unbeknownst to me. And that may have also shorted them the correct splash guard the correct color so they used a different color from what we had actually paid for.

I have back issues and I have arthritis, and getting in and out of my regular tub was hard. I wanted to try to get a walk-in tub, and the Safe Step salesman was very knowledgeable and covered everything. So far, the tub has been very good. I like the jets and the micro-soothing. It took me a little while to get used to it, though. Also, when you fill the tub up over the jets, three-quarters a way through, it becomes cold water. I don’t know why, but it does. I don’t turn the hot water thing all the way to the right, but I do have it a little over to the right. I don’t know what the problem is. The two people that installed it went down and checked it, and they said there was probably enough hot water, but it sounds like there’s not enough. It’s also supposed to empty out the bath, but it doesn't always do that. Maybe it’s not doing the crank-up right. If I try to do it more, it screeches.

I’m 71 years old. I don’t have a problem right now, but I thought, “Well, just go ahead and get Safe Step Walk-in Tub.” And that way, if I do, I’ll have it. The sales rep was great and the installation went good. I expected it to take all day but it just took the installers half a day to get it in. I just wish it could take less water because it takes a lot of water to fill it up.

We've redone our bathroom several years ago. It was a big room. We had a foot tub in there. The foot tub is up off the ground, so it's harder to get in that than it is a normal tub. And so, we decided to go with Safe Step. Their sales rep was up to standard and the installation team was good. My wife is disabled and she likes the tub.

I never in my life have dealt with such a horrible company experience. The salesperson Stephanie ** came to our home and did a two hour presentation which was way too long, to begin with, and when she gave us a price of over 15 thousand dollars we said we had to think it over, get money together etc, she got very rude and totally insulted my mother saying she doesn't care about her health and my health, we weren't serious, we wasted her time, and I never in my life have been treated so poorly, I never throw anyone out of my house but was very inclined to do. If I had the cash in hand I would never purchase anything from a company such as this. good luck people.

I was looking for a tub for my wife who has Alzheimer's and to get something she could step over. Safe Step seemed to fill that. The sales representative was great. I signed up with him immediately and gave him the deposit. But it kinda went downhill from there. I saw him around August the 14th or 15th, and the situation with my wife, my son was moving back. He was gonna be here for a week in September, so I asked for a specific date in September. Unfortunately, I got a call about two weeks before the date from some lady at the company. She called my cellphone and my house phone and we were at Walmart. I didn't answer the cellphone, I didn't really recognize the caller and didn't answer the house phone.

My experience with the reps of Safe Step was all right. They did very well. During the installation the first time, it went really well too. But the second time, there were a few problems, but we got through it. Everything’s been good since then. The tub helps with my arthritis.

Safe Step's sales rep was very informative, knowledgeable and understanding. When their crew came to install our tub, it was a very smooth process. I was very pleased and surprised at how fast that went. Thus far, I like the walk-in part of my tub and I'm very satisfied with Safe Step.

I thought I might use a walk-in bathtub on one of these days 'cause I'm getting older. A couple of other people used this Safe Step and I've never used it. The people did a nice clean job and fast installation. Everything's working well. The only thing was that the knob turned green and it wasn't a very good one. The guy that was here said he was gonna have another one sent to me, but I haven't gotten it yet.

The sales rep from Safe Step was very nice. He gave me an estimate on a sit-down shower and I wanted a tub. The installation team was in and out and they were very nice and quiet. I was very pleased. However, the door is not wide enough to get in and out without hitting my legs. When I shut the door, I have to really maneuver around so it won’t hit my legs. Other than that, I like it very much.

The sales rep from Safe Step was knowledgeable and the installers were very pleasant people, congenial, knowledgeable and funny. The installation was done in less than a day and it went perfectly.

My mother was with the Safe Step salesperson when she came out. I wasn't there but I did speak to the young lady. My mom really loved her. She said she was explaining to her. They had a really good visit. And then, when I had a question later, I called her. She didn't answer, but she got back to me right away at the same day. She's very pleasant to talk to. During the installation, my brother was there with them. He said they showed and explained everything to him. I've been up there since and the tub looks great. My mom has used it a couple of times. She hasn't used the tub as far as filling up with water and using any of the heating , but my brother has and he said it's excellent. He likes the heating and the jets. They felt really good on his back.

Everybody was good, courteous and friendly. The salesman who came before told me that they were gonna put in the long tub and new sink for me, and it’s in a box. But the installers said they don’t do that. I’m just using the shower now since I don't have the bathtub yet. I still have to get some things to put it in but I like my tub.

The sales rep was friendly and he knew his stuff. It was a nice visit and I liked him. The installers were very good also. They talked to me about how to operate the tub. I feel so rejuvenated when I use the tub, especially when I get out. I also like the microbubbles. But I get really upset that we have to keep resetting my controls. I called one time and they told us how reset it, but it’s getting to be more often when we have to do it. Every time it rains or we have a bad storm, we have to reset the tub and it’s getting on my nerves.

I looked at American Standard and some other company, but Safe Step's promptness in returning my call made me go with them. The installation got a little rough. We had trouble scheduling. It was around Christmas. So that kinda got crazy. They ran into problems at a previous job which delayed them coming when we were scheduled. So then that just had to be rescheduled. Once they got here, it took them two days to install it, which was okay because I was free the next day. They advertised that it's a one-day install. So it needs to be emphasized more, that it's one or two-day install. But they did an excellent job.

In the bathtub, my wife would get dizzy. And if she was standing up showering, she has the mat there but then it still might slip. And she would get dizzy bending over to pick up a rag or soap. So, she had the lady from Safe Step come out and we looked at everything. The sales rep was great. She went detail by detail, explained everything, showed us everything and how everything should work. I found out a few other benefits by having it also. And when they put it in they did the same thing. They went over everything and showed us how everything worked. The installation went well. I looked at it. They dug it out, cleaned it out and put all the pipes. They insulated it and then they finally came down and got the tub and put it up in there, and in another two hours, they had it just about ready to go.

I saw an ad on television and I began researching online about walk-in tubs. They’re all about the same in price when you get down to the features, and I liked the features on Safe Step. I get in the tub and I relax. I also knew that Safe Step was made in the U.S. The representative they sent out was a physical therapist and he knew a lot about issues that would help me. The installation team that came was also excellent. I was impressed with the quality of their work and their friendliness. I just need to get some questions answered from Safe Step though, and I don’t know who to call.

The Safe Step sales rep was all right, but I didn't quite understand everything that was going on that would cost a whole lot more money than I thought it was. Old folks don’t hear as good as they need to and it’s pretty tough. They could improve on making things clear with old folks. Other than that, the installers did good.

I got a Safe Step so I could feel safe to get in the tub and walk. The sales rep was good and so were the guys that installed the tub. With it, I can get in and I could sit down in it. I couldn’t get a hold of anything but one handle though, and that’s the one on the door. Doesn't have any more.

The Safe Step salesman was very nice. He sold the tub for $5,000 less than the original lady that came up here. He told me they would fix the tile floor, but they came in unannounced, and they did not do such things. I had to pay someone to get that done. So far, we like everything about the tub. The installation went really well. They put in a handheld shower and they finished about 2 o'clock.

Safe Step's sales rep was great. He showed pictures and he had little things on his pad that he was playing to us. He knew what he was talking about. The installation team was great as well. They came in and put the drop cloth down and from the front entrance all the way to the bathroom, and they cleaned up after themselves. They got here around 8 o'clock and they got finished before lunch. And everything that they took out, they took it with them. My husband thought that the Safe Step tub would help his back because he had back problems. So, it's good, but I'm gonna put a heat lamp over it to make it stay warmer. We got cathedral ceilings. Some days he doesn't feel like going through the trouble of getting in the tub. But overall, we like being able to get in and relax.

I like to soak. When I get down in a tub though, it's hard for me to get in and out. I went with Safe Step and the rep I dealt with was a really nice gentleman. Their installers did a really good job too. I got a tub with six differently colored lights that I could turn on. It also has MIcroSoothe, a place to put oils and a massage feature. So far, I can only fill the tub up until my knees. Also, I have to put in a new water heater. I use the bottom jets and I like those. This tub is expensive but it's gonna be worth it.

We had been wanting to get a tub and I wanted one that had a shower. My husband is having some mobility issues right now, so this was something that we were wanting to get into in the future, but we decided to go ahead and do it now. The sales representative from Safe Step was good, very friendly, funny and he had a lot of information. It just bothered me that they wouldn’t give me a ballpark figure. I called because I wanted to know how much the tub was but they would never tell until somebody comes into the home. We weren’t looking at doing it right now and my husband hates having people come into our home. I know that they have to get into all of the details but that always kinda drives me crazy because I feel like it’s supposed to be this big surprise. Lowe’s have walk-in tubs and I could look them up so, I could get an idea of what a ballpark figure is, but Safe Step was the only one that had the stand-up shower.

I had a very informative Safe Step rep. I got their tub, and the guys that put it in were professional and they did a good job. I really like everything about my tub because I can get in and out without having somebody being close by to make sure I don’t fall. That’s the biggest thing. Also, my legs move better now. I had one leg that was slower than the other because I had a stroke.

Safe Step's sales rep, Joe, couldn't have been nicer and better. He explained everything to us in detail. I was also well pleased with the three people that came out and the job that they did. They told me it might go into the second day, but within three and a half hours, they had everything done. The only thing, they did not send me my towel. They said they would make a note in and they would get it mailed to me, but that was over a week ago. Nevertheless, having the walk-in tub has made my life much better. I am able to get in and out of it - the four inches was as high as I can raise my foot. I recommend it to all my friends.

I had a Jacuzzi tub and it was so inconvenient to get in and out of that tub.When I saw the Safe Step Walk-in Tub, it was just what I knew would help me and my mom. We made an appointment and the sales rep came. He was step-by-step on everything, so I understood what I was getting. The installation guys came in and they got the tub working. It could have been a one-day thing, but they had various problems with tubs that had defects. But the next day, they got a good tub. They put it in, showed me how to do the controls and they were out. They also showed me how to clean it and what product to use to clean it. I got the tub and the shower and it's well worth the price. It's the most beautiful thing and I'm loving it a lot! Getting into the sauna part is so relaxing and it does so much for your body. And I love sitting in the heated tub. It's nothing I've ever had before.

I don't like the shower. It leaks out of the tub. I called Safe Step and it took me forever to get ahold of anybody. They said to leave a number. But when you leave a number, nobody calls you back. The rep that I talked to told me to buy a splash guard, but I don’t think it’s gonna do any good. They should redesign the top of the tub part or the showerhead that’s coming up because you're standing there and you got the curtain all the way pulled, but the water just comes underneath it up on the hob part. The tub should be slanted in and it should be a little ridged like on your sinks. They should make sure to redesign more of a set for just the like spa-type tub.

My experience with Safe Step has been okay. I called and got hooked up with them. The sales rep tried to help me out and the installation was done in just six hours.

I was watching Safe Step on TV and I got curious, so I wanted to try it out for myself. I gave them a call. It's a wonderful thing. And with the type of work I do, this is right on time. The Safe Step rep, Frank, was a wonderful guy. I couldn't ask for a better person. He knew how to talk and deal with people. He brought me up to par on everything. He wouldn't let anything slip my mind. The guys who came to install were very experienced and they knew their job very well. Everything went pretty smoothly. I like the looks of my tub. It should have a stereo hooked up to it. But so far, so good. I'm just waiting on the inspection. It didn't pass inspection as far as the plumbing part. But everything's been done with the tub and it's ready. I've used it and it works good.

I had an operation and I thought it would be easy for me to get a walk in tub. I don’t like the idea of sitting down. I bought a Safe Step but I’m not 100% happy with it. I’m afraid I’m gonna be cold. But once I get in, I’m not. The seats heat up and then it takes a while before the water comes up. I don’t usually let it go all the way. I’m afraid it’s gonna overflow. I felt it would be easy to go in and do what I have to do. I have it now. I can’t change, but I don’t like the idea of sitting there for a while and then letting it fill up but I’ll manage with it.

Joe was wonderful. He knew all his information and he answered all our questions. His little slideshow that he showed us was great too. He sold that tub. The installers were efficient and they got the job done in a timely manner. They also cleaned up after themselves. I love tub and everything it has, like the heater and the jet. With my Safe Step walk-in tub, I’m more relaxed and I don’t have to worry about standing and holding on in the shower. Some improvements can be done on the sides of the shower though. When you run the shower, sometimes, the water will run over the top of the tub, and it’ll leak off onto the floor.

I had always wanted to know how much walk-in tubs cost. I saw Safe Step advertised and I thought the time had come. I couldn't get in my bathtub. I scheduled somebody to come out and the salesman was terrific. The guys who put the thing in were great too. I never saw anything like it. When they came and checked everything, they said it would be a mess to bring everything in my house because of the way my house was. It was hard getting everything in the back door, making a turn and making a thing to the hallway.

We were introduced to Safe Step tubs by Bob **. Oh he gave a great spiel and that is exactly what it was. If we had been smart we would have said no right from the beginning, but we really wanted a new tub so we went with it. The tub we wanted and thought we ordered was sent to a warehouse in Florida and we live in Vermont. Keep in mind this was in September. The installers finally came on October 30th. They arrived at 8am and were here until 11pm.

Salesman was in my home a long time to get my order wrong.They installed my tub without the shower. So I asked where my shower was and was told I didn't order a shower. After I held my money back they agreed to put my shower in. The crew that put my tub in left grease all over my walls plus pour paint off the walls. They left my house that is only one year old as of 12/17/19 dirty from their van across my porch and living room to my new tub which by the way is not new. My tub was dirty and I don't mean dusty. It was greasy and dirty. The jets were dirty. I believe that I got a used tub from where somebody couldn't pay for their tub. If I had it to over I wouldn't buy this tub. Quinn, my Safe Step sales representative, was wonderful. He was personable, friendly, and honest. We really liked him. When the installation team came, I left them in the house as I had to leave. And it was done when I came back. They cleaned up the mess as well. Having the tub has been wonderful and we love it.

One of our church member got a tub and I told him about some of the stuff I was going through with my wife getting in and out of the tub, so he recommended Safe Step Walk-in Tubs. So far, everything is all right. The installation went well. We just had a couple of hiccups, which has something to do with the installment process, so I’ve been trying to check on that. There's some minor detail that I need to discuss with the installer. I gotta call in. We haven’t gotten a return call yet. But the installers were professional and nice. I felt comfortable with them.

My husband, Charlie, doesn’t like the Safe Step and doesn’t wanna use it. At times, he will have issues and will want me to come in the bathroom. If he just got over a hematoma in his leg and it was hurting really bad, he'd want me to come in the bathroom and be in there so he’d feel safe in the regular shower. Also, neither one of us can get up and down in the tub. I really was hoping that the Safe Step tub would be good for him. He did too and was disappointed with the whole thing.

Safe Step advertises their walk-in tub like crazy and I got one because it’s hard for me to step up on something or step down without falling. However, I don’t like the tub. It’s too small inside. I’m a heavy-set guy and I can’t close the door without scraping my stomach.

Safe Step had one of their installers drop off our tub for us. We went over a couple of details and we installed it ourselves. That experience with them was wonderful. The front of the tub is made of a thinner plastic which is made to pop off all over the place. I have to put it on and it's a little bit flimsy. I also have to caulk around it. It is really made for remodeling projects. But people still have new constructions. If Safe Step can come up with models for new constructions, that would be a benefit as it would look better cosmetically. It would also be stronger from the very start.

Safe Step's installers did a good job and had everything done in about five hours. My mom is happy with the tub. She took a bath in it today and loved it.

The Safe Step representative was very nice. I happen to be a salesman myself, but he’s an excellent salesman. After the installation, I got very little break-in. I'm 90 years old and it didn’t seem as comfortable for me as the shower ‘cause I didn’t understand it very well so I’m not using it yet. I already called the salesman and asked him to come in and really show me how the thing works.

Looking at different advertisements and construction and so forth, we decided to go with Safe Step and that was why we canceled our appointments with the other ones. We also had a very good interaction with the sales representative. Then, everything went beautifully. It took a little longer than expected but that was fine. He came back on the third day and he finished it up by himself. He did a good job. Now, I can soak a long time. I love hot baths.

The Safe Step representative did a really good job. My husband wasn’t too excited about the tub until he saw her presentation, and then he really wanted it. It's a fantastic tub, but a strange thing happened a couple of hours after it was installed. We lost part of the electricity in the house. We lost half our overhead lights in the den and the kitchen and several of the outlets. We never had a problem like that before and don’t know what happened.

The installation was okay. It’s long, but then it takes a long time for that to put it in. The only thing is I thought they left our faucets and everything that we had in the tub because it was that gold tone, but they took them with them. We had one piece that was there and my husband said, “I want to keep that,” and we had it in a bag. So, we thought we had it all in the bag.

Safe Step's price made me choose them. Their sales reps were okay with a little high-pressure, saying, “If you buy it now, we’ll give you this discount. It’s only good for today.” And I don’t like that very much. The installation team knew what they were doing. They installed it within a day which was fantastic. Most of the other places say they would take a couple of days. But they came in, got it done and they cleaned up really good, and they were gone within eight hours. Everything went good. I like the jacuzzi part of it, but just the being able to get in and out of it.

Safe Step's sales rep was well-spoken and he obviously knew what he was talking about. Only, he was a bit wrong about the size of the water heater. We discovered that we don’t have as large enough water heater in the house to fill up the tub. If we had known that we needed a 100 gallons, I don’t think that would change our mind. We still would’ve got it. Other than that, the guy was very polite, soft-spoken and a very amiable kind of fellow. The installers were very nice people too. The installation was very good, but we have to deal with a leak. We don’t know where it leaked, underneath someplace and came out in the ceiling of our kitchen. We haven’t made a phone call yet and we are waiting for the holidays to be over. Otherwise, we like it.

Eric, the Safe Step sales rep that came out, was all right. He's got money to make too, but the absence of information is what did this because we've got a tub that we can't use now. We got it for the wife who is obese and a diabetic, but we couldn't get the door closed. I went out on the internet, picked up some information and stuff on it. I knew it was not gonna be an easy install. Apparently, they have three different sizes of tubs that we didn't know about. We were hoping to fit a new one in there, because the one that they put in there was awfully tight. Safe Step was supposed to get back with us. Eric said he'd see what they could do about this. He's gonna have to come out and make some measurements. Our address is remote. To get to us, they have to come out of Denver, Colorado.

I have back problems and I saw the commercial for Safe Step. I then tried it and I loved it. The sales rep I dealt with showed me everything. He was great. The installation went well, too. They were professional and they did the job in a day's time like they said. Everything went smoothly. I love the walk-in tub because I could not get over on my old tub. I can walk in and sit there in the bath with the massage. Overall, I love it.

I'm disabled and I have a brain injury, so I wasn't able to comprehend all of the instructions. I have to get the manual out and go through it 'cause I know there were some things they said about what to do and not to do. While the electricians were good, the installers didn't put stuff back where they had taken it from. So, one bedroom is a mess with all the other stuff in a corner. They could have put some of the stuff back where they got it from. As far as the inspection, we need to have it rescheduled and make sure that the electrician is here because these county employees will not wait. We tried to get the inspection, but the electrician was not here and the inspector could not wait for him. I even tried to get him to wait so I could call to find out where the electrician was, and he just said no and he was gone.

The wife and I needed a walk-in tub and I called the guy from Safe Step up and asked him about it. The installation guys did their work and I liked them. I like the jets in the tub 'cause it massages my body.

My wife and I both have problems with our joints and things in old age. We thought maybe a tub like Safe Step, with all the water jets in it, might help us loosen up our joints. But so far, we haven't been able to find out because we can’t get it full of hot water. When they sold us the bathtub, they should’ve told us the size of the water heater we’d need. I've got a 53-gallon tank and I thought that’d be enough, but it is not of sufficient size to fill the tub with hot water so we're gonna have to put in a new one. That’s an expense I have to have now. It’s also a discomfort having to wait until I can get a plumber out here to redo the water heater and get rid of a perfectly good one in order to get a bigger one. I'm dissatisfied with Safe Step.

We spoke with a representative on the phone about the Safe- Step -Tub. We agreed to have a sales person contact us which contacted us the same afternoon. The price and installment information was explained to us in detail when we had our meeting with the salesman. He measured everything and helped us decide on the best option for us. The installation went exactly as we had been told, in and out in one day with the finished work completed as explained it would be. We love our tub, My husband has Parkinson's and I have Fibromyalgia. This tub has made such a difference in our lives. I no longer worry about my husband falling while bathing and the soothing jets give me relief with my worse days of Fibromyalgia. I have called with questions twice and received a call back within the same day. Would recommend this company and this tub to anyone.

I called Safe Step. They came out and talked with us. It was good all the way around including with the installation where it was done by just one guy. The tub is very nice. I love it. I like getting in it, soaking and the massages going.You can get in and wash, take a shower. It helps me a lot.

I purchased a Safe Step for my mother. She's 85 and has limited mobility, so we were looking for an easier way for her to get in and out of a tub. We went with them because they do their own installation, and so we liked the fact that we were not buying a tub from one place and have someone else install it. Also, we liked the overall package. The sales call was great. We were well already sold on it, so he didn’t have to convince us very much. We made the deal on his first sales call, and they scheduled the installation very promptly -- it was installed within three weeks. They had a crew of three guys who came out, and they started at eight o’clock in the morning and they were gone before 3:00 in the afternoon. When it was done, it was perfect. My mom enjoys the tub and it makes her feel safe. She is always taking baths, and she can take baths again. We are very pleased with it.

My wife has a lot of back and leg problems. So I bought the walk-in tub to kinda help her ease the pain a little. The Safe Step sales rep was polite and informative. He was right on the ball. When the installers came, they finished the job in five hours. We got the walk-in tub that has the water jets. I use it to shower and my wife uses if for the jacuzzi effect. She told me the tub helps with her pain.

I have some arthritis and with my age, I thought a walk-in tub might help me a little better. Safe Step's rep did good and the installers were a good bunch of people. The Safe Step helps and makes me feel a little good getting on those jets. Everything went as we planned on.

The installation took two days, but it was good. It took one day to put the tub in, and then you can’t use it for 24 hours. After that, it’s okay. It’s a good tub. I like that I can sit down. I got until the sixth month to pay, but I’m paying before the sixth month. I recommended Safe Step to a friend, but the friend got to warn me “Yeah. Everybody will want it, everybody can’t afford it.” So, I just tell others about it. If they’re interested, I tell them to call Safe Step and see what they’re gonna offer.

I started noticing black mold coming from jets recently. Also, now I have gnats and fruit flies breeding in jets. I've called numerous times. I first called when I suspected a leak. My carpet was damp. They told me if they come out there would be a charge. At that time I didn’t notice mold or gnats. Approximately 2 months later problem escalated. I have exterminator come to my house quarterly to spray in and out for preventive maintenance. My problem has gotten worst. This almost $20,000 tub I purchased has turned into a nightmare. Customer service is not existent. They are RUDE! The company states in contract lifetime warranty. But, they offer me no help. I have been bleaching tub 5-6 times a day. Problem still exist. A pest control company said I probably have a small leak that has created mold and gnat problem. They refuse to give me CEO email, etc.

My husband wasn't able to stand up long enough in the shower and the shower chair that we got just didn't work. We purchased a Safe Step walk-in tub and their sales rep was great. The installation process was good, too. It was completed in about six hours and the outcome looks good. We have the tub for almost a month and so far, I like the fact that it works like a Jacuzzi. The bidet is nice as well. Plus, my husband bathes a little more now.

When Safe Step came out to talk to us, we ordered a tub. The installation took about seven hours and we love the quality of the construction. The microbubbles feature is my favorite. The tub has made quite a difference with my husband. He would have to take a shower since he couldn’t get in and out of the tub, which was why we got Safe Step. We highly recommend it.

The shower I had in my bathroom was kinda hard to get in and out of. I've had some medical problems and I was looking for something easy to get in and out of. I got SafeStep and everything has been fine, except my bedroom door fell off after the installation team left. The guy had to take the door down to get this thing in. And when he took it out it's kinda cheap made stuff, and it kinda wore out the screw holes. So the second time the door was opened after that it fell off the hinges. But the guy was able to come over and put it back up. They were nice and did a good job. It's easy to get into the tub.

I'm absolutely furious, I'm ready to have this tub torn out. The two fine young men came and put the tub in. They worked very hard even late into the evening to get it done. The salesman, however, lied to me. He told me that the tub would be all right in there with my commode, but it is not. There is a door, then on the left side, there is another door that has got the step behind it. It is pushing that open about an inch, so there is not really a room for it in there. It needs to have a smaller commode which I will have to find to get in there. I don't blame the kids because they were wonderful. But, they were also supposed to leave me a book so I would know how to use it, and they forgot it. But that was partly my fault, too.

I’m 85 and I've had sciatica and spinal stenosis for a couple of years now. It keeps getting worse and I can’t take any medication for it. So when I heard about Safe Step, I thought it might be ideal for me. I ran into a problem when I tried to get in by myself. I couldn’t manage to empty the tub. I called the company my first time in and they told me they would have the installer call me. This was two days after it was installed. That was 11:30 in the morning on a Thursday, and then I didn’t hear from anybody till Friday at 5:00. I ended up calling the fire department to help me get out of the tub because my husband is handicapped. He’s been living for 55 years with MS and he tried to get in the bathroom and help me bale it out with a little bucket but we weren’t successful. And because of the arthritis in my hands, I couldn't open the latch to let the water out, and it was a mess. I sat there for about an hour, and of course I got cold.

I'm in a wheelchair and can't stand. I wanted a tub and saw Safe Step's number on the television and I called it. When the tub was installed, I told the guy that something didn't work, but he said he might break it and didn't want to mess with it. He also said Safe Step would probably send someone out. I gotta get ahold of the guy that sold me the tub and let him know and then he’d get ahold of whoever he gotta get ahold of.

Everything's great with Safe Step. They scheduled things on a timely manner and was out and took care of it in one day. The gentleman and his wife were a team. They showed up around 10:30 and finished up about 5:30 in the evening. Everything was very professional, very nice, very clean, and we're really happy with the results. They did mention to us that we may need a larger hot water tank, but we realized we had it turned down to lower setting. We just cranked it up a bit and everything's fine. My wife likes the micro part and I like the jet part, and so it works out fine. So far, I like everything.

Everybody in this house is enjoying the tub. I have the booster put on for the water heater, but otherwise, it’s a beautiful tub. I love it. I like the feature that I can wash my hair and then sit down and take my soothing bath. I’ve always wanted a walk-in tub for years. I saw it in a magazine and I called the number. The sales guy that I dealt with was wonderful. He told me everything about the tub, and all the features. I couldn’t believe that the installers put this together in one day. My bathroom is small and they had to take off the door and the molding and everything around it to get it in here. I also have a big vanity in here and they said that they might have to remove that to get it in here. I emptied everything out for them before they got here. They got it in here without removing my vanity. They picked it up high over their heads and they got it in here and put it together.

There was a commercial about a tub where you step in and you could fill it up. I went online, typed it up and Safe Step was there. I clicked on it and started looking around other places, but Safe Step got their stuff together. The gentleman who came over was very helpful. I reached out to him, asked him for some other papers and he gave me what he could, what I was asking for. He even came back on a Sunday just for me to sign the papers, and it was an hour drive for him, so I appreciated that.

We’re 86 and 85 years old, and we have aches and pains. With all the pills the doctors put in us, we feel like maybe the Safe Step walk-in tub would help the arthritis and the things going on with our bodies. So, we decided to try one out or listen to someone tell us about the tub. The sales rep that we got was very nice. She pointed out all the features and let us know how it could help with our arthritis and the different things. The installers were great as well and they were wonderful people. They got it in on cue and were very mannerly men. So far, I like all the features of the tub and I love how the water stays warm while you’re in it. It helps my husband wonderfully, too. He was the worst one with the arthritis, but he’s beginning to walk a little better and he feels better. And when you get out of that tub, you’re just relaxed.

I felt comfortable with the presentation at the time. The sales rep was great. But the installation wasn’t what I thought it would be. When the gentleman first came out, they were okay, but as the installation went on, I didn’t know it was gonna put so much dust in my house. And I just brought my husband home from the hospital. So that kinda went against his respiratory system.

The Safe Step rep was good. The people who came to install were also very good. We like our walk-in tub. It's mostly for Bobby. And the jets have helped him with his back and his legs.

I could not get in and out of the tub I had, and the Safe Step rep who came was okay. The installation team was good, too, and they put me a new shower in. Everything impressed me. I like the no-step floor, and the walk-in tub has made my day-to-day life easier. There is, however, water wanting to stand around the drainage, but, other than that, it is nice.

Safe Step sent two workers over. They were very polite and they seemed to know what they were doing. It was a young man and a young lady, and they worked consistently. They seemed to be interested in what they were doing. The only objection I have is they didn't run me through. The man explained to me how to operate the bathtub, but he didn't practice me to do it to see. I should have had the outline of the tub while he was explaining so I could actually manipulate it, and we moved to the control for it. But I didn't have it until now. Other than that, I was satisfied with their work and the tub seems to be what it's supposed to be. I like the whole tub!

My husband and I have back and neck problems. We thought a walk-in tub would make it easier for us. The installation guys were good, very courteous, and funny. You could talk to them, too. They went beyond what they had to do. They made like a landing behind it so I can stand on it to clean the mirrors up there, because it used to be a Jacuzzi tub, so it is a wide area. My husband likes the walk-in tub, except for one problem. The door that they put on opens inwards, which makes it harder to get into it. It should have opened out.

My husband was always afraid he was gonna fall when he got in the shower. He has a lot of medical problems. The installation of our Safe Step went good. But the installers didn’t seem like they wanted to take care of my house. My house is very clean and I asked them to cover their shoes. I didn’t like that they just came in and went all over my house in my carpets with their shoes after going outside and inside. People don’t want their carpet messed up if they can help it, especially all through their house. They installed upstairs, so they were coming through the kitchen, off the steps, and through the dining room, and it went through the dining room and into the kitchen outside. And the dining room’s carpeted, it’s carpet all up the steps, and in the hallway, and in my bedroom. I thought they could have been a little bit more cleaner.

I've heard about Safe Step throughout the years. A couple of years ago, I had a friend who came by and we took a look at it, but I didn’t have the money then. Then about a couple of years ago, somebody came here and I gave them some money to install it. But I had an emergency and I had to back off. And then I was watching Safe Step on TV until one day I told my wife, “Look. I need to call these people and have them come to check it out." When I made the purchase, the man and wife team showed me a few people that did it, and I was looking at it and I said, “Wow, look at his legs.” And then the woman said, “Well, in about 90 days, this is what happens.” She showed me three different people. I told her she didn't have to sell me that. I was sold a long time ago.

When the other brand was advertising on TV, they didn't advertise the shower package and Safe Step did so I went with Safe Step. I need the shower but I enjoy the jacuzzi part of the tub. I like the little jets. I've been taking the tub for a spin about every day and I love everything about it. The installation team did good. They had to tear our old tub out, repair the floor, then install the tub because under the bathtub, we had some rotting under there. They also had to take the whole doorjamb out because my house was built in the 30s so we had this real small bathroom door. They had to tear all that out in order to get the tub in and take the sink out, and once they got it in, they rebuilt everything back like it was. So, they put a lot in the installation. They were very professional and courteous. Everything went smoothly.

My wife did most of the dealings with the sales rep and it was all good. The installation team left the information and how to work the tub, everything about it. They did a good job and were very efficient. I was very happy with the tub. In looking at the other tubs, it was the best bargain and the best one as far as the ratings. Everything which I looked at said Safe Step is the best one, so that was what we went with.

In Albuquerque N.M. Safe Step Walk-in Tub serviceman installed a walk in tub, he set the tub on three legs instead 4, leaving one leg unsupported, floor in the bathroom was covered with protective cardboard sheeting, tub installer set the tub on top of paper cardboard, instead of the tile. It will take complete idiot to do that.

I talked to Safe Step's rep and he came and showed me a video. He showed good points about Safe Step's tub that other tub companies didn't have. I purchased one and the installer and his don did most of the work. The son had a visit the next day so the main installer did it by himself and finished the job. However, I wish the tub had a handle on the inside so I could lift myself up. If I had a handle that is low enough, I could push myself up. I'm 71 years old and I have a hard time getting up.

I was looking into a type of tub, but it wasn’t Safe Step. I first saw it on TV, but it wasn’t Safe Step's commercial. Then I went on the internet and I inquired, and Safe Step was the first company that called to return my inquiries. The sales rep was very nice and explained everything. The guys who did the installation were very nice too. They did everything that they were supposed to do. The only problem I have is the aromatherapy. The rep gave us a bottle of it, a sample. But I haven’t found any place that sells it. I had asked where to obtain it, and he said, the guys that installed it said that a lot of the pharmacies have it. However, the pharmacies that I checked don’t have that. But I like the tub. We bought it because of my dad. He’s 98, and I thought it’d give him some comfort.

I’ve been seeing the Safe Step advertisement service for quite some time and I did have another company come out and he was contemptible, so I just stayed with Safe Step. The interaction with the sales rep was fine and it wasn’t confusing. I was given the financing and I’ve never had a problem with that before but my children kinda hurt my credit lately. Safe Step worked with it and they got somebody to finance it. So, it was good. I am having a little bit of a problem with my bath jets because once I'm set up, it runs out of hot water but I’m happy with Safe Step.

My Safe Step tub has some jets that are not jetting. Still, I like it.

Safe Step's rep and I went on for four hours which is three hours beyond my attention span. I couldn’t get him to go out. He had his program on his laptop which he opened to show me all these videos. He always had something next to show him. He covered everybody making tubs, and how Safe Step was the best. He also showed some health benefits I could have with the tub. At the time, I was ready to pay him just to walk out the door.

I saw Safe Step in the AARP paper and I liked this one better than the other one I went to. This one had a few more of those hydro jets and lights. I liked the sales rep from Safe Step and as with his professionalism and courteousness, he was very nice on those. The walk-in tub is comfortable to sit in. I’ve had one other one and it was a little wider, and I was a little hound in it. I would highly recommend Safe Step.

The advantages of Safe Step were better over others, which was why I decided on them and the rep was nice, very competent and knowledgeable. He was from the area, and when you know somebody is from the area where you live, that makes a difference. It’s not just some salesman from 100 miles away. The installation team was very good, and they were in and out. There are a couple of little things I’d like them to come back and fix, but I haven’t contacted them yet. So, it’s not their fault and it’s more of a cosmetic thing.

My husband's nephew and his wife bought a tub from Safe Step at the same time as us through our recommendation and we were supposed to get $500 as a result. We haven't seen that yet. Still, the reps we interacted with were very polite people and the installers whom Safe Step sent were really concerned about cleaning up after themselves. Our Safe Step worked out just fine.

The sales representative from Safe Step explained everything to us including the features of the tub and he didn’t try to hard-sell us. He left the decision up to us to decide if we wanted to do it or not. The installation team was remarkable. We still can’t believe that they put that thing in there and make it look like it had already been there for years. It took them a day, but it was a lot of work involved with it.

It’s been going pretty good with Safe Step. The sales rep was great. Those guys who installed were quick and clean too. I’m fairly picky on people working in my house and they were right on the ball. They’ve done everything right. I really like the product but I think it leaks around the door. Maybe I haven’t cleaned it good enough because I don’t use it for a tub all the time. I use it a long time for a shower. When I use it as a tub, I fill it up enough to use the back massage. I did it four times, and two of these times, I ended up with water on the floor. Other than that, I like all the features of the tub including the jets and the heater. I use the heaters even when I’m just taking the shower. That way, I can sit down and it ain’t cold.

We had an old tub that either my wife or I can’t get in and out of. We got a Safe Step and worked with their rep Joe who seemed to know everything he needed to know. We tried to tell Joe that their installers would have a little trouble trying to go in. So, they needed up having to do a little more work than they thought they would. However, the tub is not working at all 'cause I don't have enough hot water to fill it. Safe Step told me I would but I do not. Now, I have to get a new hot water heater. Despite this issue, we've already talked to a friend of ours about the tub and she's gonna get one next summer.

I was impressed by Safe Step's sales over the TV. I purchased one and the installers who came were very good. I'm handicapped so before, I couldn't get into a tub. Now, I love my tub and I love the fact that I can take a bath.

Safe Step's rep cleared everything step by step. What he said wasn't high-tech talk and he down-to-earth talked to us. We purchased from his company and the installation team who came was excellent. They were quiet and they tried to muffle what noise they made a little bit by closing the doors. Thus far, having the tub is a lot safer for my husband who can't step into a regular tub anymore. He’s loving it all the time. I also don't have to worry about him falling out of the tub anymore.

A while ago, my daughter-in-law told me about Safe Step Walk-in Tubs and she left the paperwork on my counter. It was six months later before I actually called the company and told them to come out, and the sales rep was very nice. Everything worked out beautifully. The installation team did all the installation in one day and they were very neat about it. It wasn't an easy installation but they did a nice job. They were very professional. The experience was very amazing. I love the Safe Step Walk-in tub and my favorite feature is the jets in the tub. So far, everything's good.

We have enjoyed our walk-in tub since May 2017, but a few weeks ago the pull out hose sprayer started leaking so we called the number in our folder and were told they would mail us a replacement hose and we could do it ourselves. My husband is on oxygen and I have little strength in my hands so I explained it would be difficult, perhaps impossible, to do the repair ourselves and they asked if I could find anyone to help us and I explained that we do not have anyone living close by that could aid us. She replied to try to find someone and, meanwhile, she would put in repair order and we would be contacted. Well we have never been contacted and are still waiting.

Safe Step has done a good job with the installation of my tub. They're the only one I know of and I just had them, and everything is okay. The sales rep and I had very good interactions too. I like the shower and I shower a whole lot better now. I recommend Safe Step walk-in tubs.

The first time, Safe Step installed the tub itself. Now, they installed a walk-in shower too and that installation team was great. They were wonderful. They did everything right from soup to nuts. They got it all right the first time and it was a very clean process. I was very happy. As they were leaving, I was very complimentary of them. I was very happy with the first installation team, but I can’t say I’m that happy with the shower installation.

The Safe Step salesman explained everything, showed me everything, gave me the exact price and what it would cost and the things that I didn’t have to have if I didn’t want them. He didn’t pressure me at all. And the two men that were here and installed the tub were the nicest guys you’d ever want to know. It took them all day to get it in, but they worked at it and when they got through, it was really nice. We played cards at my house yesterday, so my card player got to see it.

We got our second Safe Step tub. We had one when we were at Prescott Valley and liked it. But I like this new one even more ‘cause it’s got the shower and that’s the reason I went forward with it. I’m not one to sit in a tub all the time. My wife likes it too. Also, this new tub is bigger than the one we had, which is nice ‘cause it gives us room to move around a little bit when we’re showering. I like the showerhead as well ‘cause it has no sting. It’s just like a rainfall and it’s nice and soft. That’s great ‘cause I’m 81, and my skin is like tissue paper and it doesn’t take much pressure for it to hurt, especially water pressure.

Safe Step Walk-in Tubs was rated the highest. I like that I can just do the foot massage. My only real complaint was I kept trying to get the permit for the electrical and plumbing. I was told that it was gonna be taken care of, but it wasn't. In order to get it done, I finally had to go to the town myself and schedule the appointment. It's a minor detail, but if I didn't follow up on it, I would totally forget that, "Gee, the inspector hasn't come by," and it's both plumbing and electrical so it's two different inspectors. Fortunately, they came yesterday and everything was fine. But the fact that I'm a retired landscape contractor, and there was a part of me that says, "Okay. The salesman did his job and the installation guys did their job," but the final detail of making sure that everything was done was just not followed up on, even though I made numerous calls. But other than that, the installation was seamless.

Everything went well as I expected. The Safe Step sales rep knew what he was talking about. Also, the installation was good. The installer knew what he was doing. He asked questions, and I asked questions, so it was a good communication. I like the tub's jets.

We had an appointment with Kohler and they didn't show and I never heard from them again. My wife saw SafeStep and I put a follow-up in with them. Everybody there has done everything they said they were gonna do. The installation experience was really good and their crew cleaned up after themselves. However, the aromatherapy feature doesn't really work. Still, I've been liking the microbubble feature.

The sales representative who sold me my Safe Step walk-in tub was good. However, I wish I wouldn’t have bought it. I saw another one with another company and it was just a step-in tub that doesn’t have all the features. I wish I wouldn’t have bought all the other equipment. For the installation, I know that it was a big job. If they could’ve got it done at about 3 o’ clock in the afternoon, I would have been good. But they were here until 6 o’clock at night. I hadn’t eaten all day and I couldn’t wait for them to leave because they had been here all day. I’m an old person, I live alone, and I’m usually wearing down by that time.

Safe Step's installation team did a hell of a job. However, we never got a copy of our paid receipt. We kept waiting for it and I forgot it, so I figured, someday we gotta tell them about that when I call. But other than that, my wife enjoys the walk-in tub. We got it for her back. Getting in there helps her out. It feels great when she gets off so it’s really a big help to her. That can only do so much but the whirlpool in the tub already makes her feel better.

The first representative from Safe Step was very nice and explained everything to me, took measurements and gave me the quote of $14,000. I was trying to get a grant through the VA since I’m a veteran and when the grant was not approved I called Safe Step back and they said they would send a representative to go over financing with me. No one ever called me back. I made numerous phone calls to them and was told someone would call me. I never heard back from them as soon as they found out that the VA wouldn’t pay for it.

Safe Step Walk-in Tub's price is a little higher. But so far, we felt that it was the best way to go and I still believe it. The sales rep was very good and the installation was very well done. The installers knew what they were doing. They did it briskly and got out and everything was clean and nice. They did a good job. So far, everything is going excellently with our tub. In fact, my wife uses it more than I do. I do think that it's going to help her bad knees and fibromyalgia. I like being able to just walk in and have the warm water and be able to sit in the warm water, because I couldn't get up and out of the other tub. So that's by far the best and the most convenient thing for me. However, my wife have really bad fibromyalgia and the jets seem so strong. I didn't know that there were some jets that were not as strong as the jets that's in ours.

Everything was great with Safe Step. The guys that came out and installed it were knowledgeable and they did everything they were supposed to do on telling us how to use it and all that good stuff, and just plenty pleased with it. It’s just we didn't stay home long enough to use it long enough. But we love that tub.

My wife realized that I'm getting old and I got Parkinson's and other types of different muscle disorders. It would be easier for me to have a short step to get into the tub 'cause we're both getting on in age. As a matter of fact, she's in rehab right now after breaking her hip so she decided we should get Safe Step. At first, we were talking about the step-in shower, but she likes the massaging jets. I love them too, but for me to get in the tub, I have to stand up, put my feet into the corner and turn my feet 90 degrees from each other, and then try to close the door. I have to lean back if I'm closing the door 'cause I can't sit down and close the door. My legs are above my knee or too long. Other than that, we love the tub. The sales representative was excellent then the installers were professional and neat.

My wife and I had been talking about a walk-in tub for quite a bit. After watching the Safe Step commercial and looking around, we made a few appointments. We sat down and listened to the sales guys, and then chose Safe Step. We had very good interactions with the sales rep. He explained the product and answered all our questions. And after we got the thing ordered, he had a follow-up call to see how it was doing. Then, two gentlemen showed up for installation. They had to take a couple of doors apart to get the tub in the house and into the bathroom, and then they did a fine job of putting everything back the way it was.

I like the Safe Step quality so we used them over other companies, and the sales rep was very good. He explained a lot of things and also gave me his number if I had any issue. Then, the people who came to put the tub in were very, very good as well. When I have a problem, they would be the ones to come out and fix it and they were very good about it.

We love everything about our Safe Step Walk-in tub. I like their pricing better and their installation team was great. They've done their work and they cleaned up after. They were concerned a little though about the linoleum not reaching the tub. I told them that was all right because I'm gonna replace the linoleum anyway. Now, I can take a bath in the tub everyday and I like being able to sit down and get in and out of it.

The Jacuzzi was priced ridiculously high. Safe Step was the second one I looked at and I was happy with the price. I also like the hydro feature of the tub. The sales rep was professional and knowledgeable. Then the installers were fantastic, courteous, timely, and cleaned up after themselves.

My husband and I talked to our children about getting a walk-in tub, and being old people, our kids said, "Now, they're the parent, we're the child." So, my husband did some research and channel nine just did a story on the top three walk-in bathtubs, and Safe Step was on the top. I made an appointment with all three companies to come and Safe Step came first. We were real impressed with the gentleman who came here. He was very good. He was really friendly and personable. He spent a lot of time with us answering all of our questions and he explained everything very well. He showed us our designs, the height and the width, the door, getting in. I had total hip replacement, so my bill is not really good, and we just canceled the other companies and just went with Safe Step.

I got a walk-in tub from Safe Step as it helps my wife who has Parkinson's. I like the jets in the tub, too. Also, the installers were good that I would like to fire them from Safe Step and hire them for me. Their sales rep was super. I've recommended Safe Step to three people.
