I went for Safe Step because it has a lifetime guarantee. The sales team and the installation team were quick, very precise, and did a good job putting it in. I'm satisfied with the installation. In addition, my 85-year old mom uses it and she can step into it and then it's easier for her to sit on the seat then fill it up about half. It's something she could sit in the tub and she likes that. I like the tub as well - everything is convenient.
My experience with Safe Step Tubs has been very good and I'm glad I got it. It's different than a shower. And, I'm 85 years old and the tub makes me feel good when the aches come back in the daytime. It relaxes all my bones and helps me on my sore feet, legs and hips. And, the person that came out was most knowledgeable and did a good job of explaining a clear picture of everything.
I love Safe Step. Their sales representative was very down-to-earth, lovely person to talk to.The installation team were nice. They got it done in one day. The tub is so easy to get in and out of an the water feels good once you get in because of the heat of the seat. It's marvelous. I'm very satisfied with Safe Step and I invited a lot of people to see it.
I saw the Safe Step walk in tub before but had no interest in it at that time. Then I got to a point where I needed some support mainly in bathing because I lose my balance which is why I got interested in coming back and taking a look at it again. The sales representative was the owner. I sent them a card requesting the latest information from them. I didn't hear back from them for awhile as they had the wrong zip code on my card so I called them one day. The owner happened to be in the area and said he was going to make sure to stop and see what my interest was. We had quite a chat and he went through the cost thoroughly. I had gotten a quote from another company but I liked talking with this fellow better. I had a good experience with him because only in a matter of days, he was back with me.
I have too many birthdays to sit in a regular tub so I really enjoy this. I didn't need all of the bells, whistles and the little therapeutic nozzles. I just want to bathe. So he said "We can do just exactly what you want." I was treated very nice and had phone calls and mail from them. They were very much up to date in staying onboard with me. He said they could do it in less than a day but it took them at least about six hours at the most and they left everything spotless - no dust and dirt laying around. They were very thorough in how they covered the flooring while they were in and out with it so I'm very well pleased.
We had a great experience with Safe Step. It's working out well. My mom can take a bath by herself and is really enjoying the tub - she loves it. Also, the installation was great and absolutely no mess was left. The men were really nice and didn't take long for them to install it.
I did a lot of research on all of the step-in tubs and Safe Step was the one that I felt would give me what I wanted. The sales rep came out and was on time. He explained everything, and I can't get more than that. The installation team was friendly, efficient and extremely careful. They cleaned up well after themselves, so I couldn't be more pleased. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia, and when I feel real bad, I don't care if it's 4:00 or 6:00 in the morning, I head for my tub because it helps a lot. I like my tub and Safe Step did a great job installing it.
The Safe Step tub has been very good but the price is high - I wasn't expecting it to be that high. Their sales representative was polite and their installation team has been professional and cleaned up after themselves. I like the water jets even though it requires a lot of water. The tub makes me feel good and it massages my legs well.
We bought from Safe Step after a salesman came in - he's pretty persuasive and he made it sound like a good deal. The rep was good as well as the installation team. Moreover, I like the jets of the tub because it helps my feet a lot and it feels a lot better since.
My mother-in-law who is handicapped was planning to come here and our bathtub was too high for her so we decided to buy Safe Step walk-in tub. It's also for the future for me and my wife, we don't know when we are older, we don't know what we need. Safe Step had a very good sales representative. I like the bathtub, I sit down and take a shower there, but my wife doesn't like it. The stream of the shower is a little bit too thin, too. Also, after the bathtub was installed, the two sockets that we have in the wall are no longer working so the lights in the two bathrooms don't light. I have to bring the electrician to find out what is going on. But other than those issues, I'm satisfied with Safe Step. It's good except for the price.
I researched five companies and I talked to three other salespersons, and I decided that I liked what I was hearing from Safe Step better and I saw the demonstration they brought into the house. The one who did the demonstration was very good in all aspects. However, I live in a double wide manufactured home and our hot water heating is only 30 gallons. He said, "that may not be enough." In actuality, he knew that wasn't enough because the tub takes 50 gallons.
When the installers came they told me, "you can try it this way." And I said, "I don't just want to try it. If there's something wrong that needs to be added, tell me now." They said, "you may want to add another type of hot water heating tank or tankless water or something like that." In any case, they didn't say that you absolutely must and I was still hoping for the best.
Even when they were giving me answers that alluded to the fact that the water heater system might be alright, I have to put a bigger tank in. I found out very quickly that hot water only came up to my knees but they did an outstanding job in installing it. Very clean and very quick. They were here at 10 and gone before 3. I will recommend the tub. Halfway in and it worked very good.
I'm not a fan of Safe Step but my husband love's that tub to no end. He thought he was buying it for me because I would never pay that much money for that. It's not big enough and you can't lay back in it. It's really nice but it's just not for me. He likes it and that's what counts. He likes the jets. He said it makes his skin feel.. The installation team did an excellent job. They were professional and good at what they were doing that I would like them to do my living room and kitchen. It was very, very rewarding to me. It looks really great.
We are old and decrepit so we chose the Safe Step tub. The sales rep was excellent. I like that I can take a bath and enjoy it as I have a handicap. I can sit in there and it's relaxing. My wife enjoys it and said that it was one of the better things we ever did. The tub is excellent!
I called Safe Step and the lady who answered my call was so nice and I like the way that she talked to me. She told me that somebody would be in my area, then the person came to my house and he was really friendly. Come installation day, the guys who came to install the tub were really nice and did a good job. They took a vacuum and cleaned up after themselves. I like the handle for the shower which keeps me from falling down while my wife likes the other part. I like it that I can sit down, take a shower and wash my feet at the same time. And lastly, the tub is easy to clean.
Safe Step caught my eye in a veterans magazine as it's American-made. Dave, came here from Denver and was an awesome salesman. He went through the charts and book step by step and gave us an oversight of everything and asked us at every step if we had any questions The three installation guys were professional and friendly. They knew what they were doing and they proved it. They were in and out of here before I knew it. They showed us all the buttons and what it was all about and we were happy. The only downside is that it takes so long to fill up but my wife loves the tub.
I really like my experience with Safe Step. My interactions with the sales representative was very good. The installation team was great. My favorite feature of your walk-in tub are the jets.Since installation, I noticed that my skin is a lot better. However I don't know why I don't seem to be getting the odor out of the bag that's in there. Still, I would recommend them to a friend.
Everything was okay with the Safe Step sales rep. The installation team was in and out within 4 1/2 hrs and did a good job. We enjoy our walk-in tub very much. My favorite feature of the tub is the heated seats. It's nice to get in and sit on a warm seat before you get going.
The sales rep and installation team were just as nice as they could be and knew exactly what they were doing. It didn’t take them as long as I thought it would and I’m very pleased with their work. So far I’m happy with my walk-in tub. I have told a few people about it. The best thing about it is that I can fill it up, sit down and relax. I got in there one time and forgot to fill it up before I turned the jets on and I had water all over the place, but I learned.
Last Friday my husband was trying out our Safe Step walk-in tub and everything was going along well. He was just beginning to get the jets set when the electricity went out. We thought we tore or messed up something in the house. It took us probably an hour and a half to two hours to rule out everything in the house, including the Safe Step tub. We realized that it was due to the electric company instead, not the tub that was the problem. So we haven't really had any trouble with the tub. Even during the sale process, their representative was very thorough and nice.
My wife is hemiplegic, half of her body isn't very coordinated. She was in a severe car accident in 1979, so she's been incapacitated. We got a tub and everybody that I talked to at Safe Step were all really good. That includes the installation team who was very thorough going through all the controls, etc. The only minor thing was one of the color of the buttons for the microbubbles was swapped.
I'm 16 years older than my wife, I'm 73, she's only 56. I'm a normal 73-year old. I've had a couple of mild heart-attacks but they run in my family and we're all long-lived. Other than that, I'm fine. I can still hit a golf ball really far. I'm coordinated and I can still help my wife move around a lot. For me, it's very relaxing in the tub. The jets are more important than the microbubbles which my wife loves. As for her, both the microbubbles and the jets are very therapeutic. She has considerable arthritis, too. We use the tub alternately. I try to get her to use it at least three times a week, and I use the showers three times a week.
I've bragged about Safe Step to everybody. We live in 55 plus community and every one of our friends have seen it, and everybody wows when they see it. I already told my brother who is 14 months younger than I am about it and he really needs one. He still rode cutting horses and injured his back really bad. The one thing that I would recommend to anybody getting Safe Step is to make sure they have at least a 50-gallon water tank. I have my 50-gallon water tank because that was one of the things that the installation team said. I was thinking about it, and they said it's a very good idea so I did it.
The Safe Step sales representative was funny and interesting. I had a hard time before getting my legs over the tub or in the seat, so that's a big advantage of the Safe Step walk-in tub. The first time I was in it, I got rid of my dry skin. I love being in the tub now. I was very satisfied with the whole experience.
I am enjoying my tub from Safe Step. I really like its sidings. The sales representative seemed to be knowledgeable of the product and their installation team did a good job, they answered any questions that I had.
I saw SafeStep on television. The installation team was fine. However, I was dissatisfied with the experience. The salesman was a little deceptive in his explanation. He said the tub would take three minutes to fill and five minutes to drain. However, I came to find out that it was gonna take 15 minutes to do both of them. That's a long time for a man or a woman, either one of us to sit on the tub while it's filling. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I'd known it was gonna take that long. He misled me there. I don't have a hot water tank big enough to fill up the tub.
Safe Step is great and I love it. Because it's low, I don't have to lift my leg three to four inches off to get in there. That's a good feature for me because I have trouble with my legs. The experience I've had with their sales reps was one of the nicest I've had too. The attitude of their installation team made it great to work with them. They did everything perfectly.
Safe Step has great sales reps and we love their installation team. They were very professional and friendly. I like that I can just fill the tub up until my leg instead of having the full tub gill up. After work, when I really hurt, I soak in my tub and when I get out the hurt is gone.
I've been having a wonderful experience with Safe Step. Their sales representative and installation team were good. They did exactly what they said they were going to and everything went good. I've had back surgery so the massage and all the treatments when I get in the tub really helps.
I thought my experience with Safe Step was going to be good. Nothing wrong with the tub, the installation went great, they did it almost right away. What I'm having a problem with, financing would not pay them $39,000 for a $13,000 tub. So my husband told them to come get it and I'd love that they did. The woman came out and she looked at our bathroom. She ran all the numbers, told us how much our payment was going to be, which was 100 and some dollars a month, but now its more.
So were not getting what we were promised. My husband says this is what she said we were going to pay. Now I'm going to pay this or I'm not going to pay anything. And then it was a long time before I even heard from them again. I told my husband I don't guess were going to get it because we haven't gotten any paperwork nor have we heard from them. And then all of a sudden, after quite a while, Safe Step calls me and wants to know if were still interested and there's installation for the next week.
Safe Step's sales representative was very good. Installation team explained to me how it works in everything and they cleaned up. However, we haven't used it yet. The only thing I've done with it is take a shower because I had to install a larger hot water tank.
I find our Safe Step walk-in tub relaxing and their installation guys were very nice. My biggest problem with it though is that the hot water tank is not large enough like I've been told by their sales person. I thus have to boil a couple of good-sized pans of water to make sure that the water level can be brought up. I'm very unhappy about that.
I would recommend Safe Step Walk-in Tubs. The sales representative was a very nice young man. He showed me pictures of his tub where he and his wife were on. The installation team wasn't too bad. I haven't used it yet, but my husband has. I haven't had a chance where I can go in because somebody's here in case he needs something. He's not able to do things by himself so the assistant nurse gets him in the tub, lets him sit and shows him what all the buttons are doing. He likes it very much and it helps him relax.
My husband has had surgery so it's been a big help to be able to bathe him in our Safe Step walk-in tub. The sales rep at Safe Step did a good job and the man who installed it was an excellent worker. He was very clean and neat, and took a lot of care in doing the work.
We had a wonderful experience with Safe Step Walk-in Tubs. We haven't quite got used to the tub but it's nice. You have to work all those buttons and my husband helps me with that. The tub's seat is my favorite. I can sit and bathe, then I have those bubbles and it's nice. I couldn't go in a regular tub anymore but this tub is comfortable and it's easy to get in and out of and that's what I needed because I have back problems.
Everything about my Safe Step walk-in tub so far is nice. They are built a little bit better than what I had looked at prior to theirs. I can get in and out of it where I couldn't in my older tub. The sales rep and the team who installed it were great. They've done a great job.
My Safe Step walk-in tub is wonderful. Even my grandson came over and decided he wanted to take a bath and he did. He even put on Facebook, "My grandma got a new walk-in tub and I think it's fantastic." I chose them because the salesman, the price and the discounts that they gave were great. The installation team did everything that they were supposed to do. It didn't take them very long and didn't leave a mess. Everything was just terrific and they showed us everything that we needed to know about the tub and how to operate it.
.
Their sales representative and installation team were good but I'm having a problem right now. They were supposed to come over and put a shower curtain. I also need those things you grab to hold on to. I want one more of those up. If I already knew what I need then, I would have had it put in then because they had a whole bunch of them and they just put up two where I didn't see them. I don't need it where they placed it so now I need to have two put up again and I haven't got it. I talked to them and they haven't come. I'm getting pissed off. So what's happening? What's the deal?
I don't have a family so I don't use my Safe Step walk-in tub that much. I probably didn't need it that bad but I'm happy with it. It seems to be a good walk-in tub. However I don't know if I'd recommend it to friends. Because I don't want them to spend that much money just to try out a tub.
I like everything about my Safe Step tub compared to my other tub that I had to fill out over and over again. Their sales and installation teams were very good. However, there's a seam that needs to be re-caulked and they were supposed to come out today but haven't shown up yet.
We're pleased with our Safe Step Walk-in Tubs. I like the lights and the jets are good for us because my husband and I both have arthritis and we don't get around all that good. It's especially good for my husband because he has a tendency to have dry skin. Their sales representatives were all wonderful. I have no problem.
The sales rep at Safe Step was very cordial and enjoyable. The installation team was also excellent and explained what was going to go on. We had to move some stuff on the other side of the wall when they were clearing out the old bathtub but it went very smooth. I like the microbubbles feature of my walk-in tub. It does make the skin feel different afterwards. My only disappointment was that our hot water heater’s not going to be adequate to fully fill the tub. We get our 40 gallon hot water tank about three-fourths of the way where we would like to have it and then all the hot water’s gone.
The sales representative at Safe Step was very good. The installation team were excellent as well. They were very professional and friendly. I like the bubbles and it has been a lot easier for my wife to get in and out since the installation.
Everything with Safe Step went great, including my interactions with their sales representative and installation team. I love it when you get in the tub because you get relaxed. I'm just disappointed in how much water it takes to fill it. It takes an hour to ready your bath but it's good once you get in there.
We really enjoy our Safe Step walk-in tub. We chose it because it looked the best, it's really pretty and I like the lower step that I have to take to get in because it helps a lot. I've only used it twice before bath, but my favorite feature is the glowing bubbles that come out and circulate around you before the foam. We do have a problem that they're looking into. Something was in front of where the feet is, and on the front and outside of the panel. Michael, the representative, took pictures of it and we haven't heard any more about it yet. But overall, we'd recommend them.
The person that came out to my home was very good and nice to me. I'm wanting to get that bad to have a down payment on the tub to get it put in because I have had blood clots twice in my lungs. It's safe, I don't have to worry about climbing over into the tub and take care about falling. The installation team were very good. They had to remove the door to my bathroom in order to get the tub in and put it back up as if the door had never been taken down. I just like being able to get in the tub, to sit in some good warm water and take a bath. Plus all the extra features like the water jets are very useful to my face, legs, etc. I have osteoarthritis so that helps me a lot, too. I have been telling people about Safe Step.
I really enjoy my Safe Step Walk-in Tub from the first minute I sit down until the last minute I get out. I like everything about it. It's beautiful. Talking to their sales rep was fine. Their installation guys were also very good people, very professional. They did everything and cleaned up. The only thing that I'm sad about is that I didn't get it earlier. Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience and I'll recommend Safe Step to everybody.
I use the tub and I love it. Our old shower is dripping however and I can't stop it. I have to put a towel under it after I take a shower. Nevertheless I would suggest for everybody to use Safe Step because it's really helps with the ache and pain as well as the relaxation it brings. I have a bone spur in my foot and that seems to relieve it.
I previously had a large oversized tub in my master bathroom because my dermatologist told me I had to start taking bleach baths three times a week for about 30 minutes at a time. It was about 26 inches deep and I had to get up about 30 inches to get into it - I couldn’t do it, and thought that a walk-in tub would work. One of my neighbors had just installed a walk-in tub and they were very pleased with it. So I started looking into companies that install walk-in tubs, and saw Safe Step's tub in one of the ads in the paper. I called them, sent an email, and their rep came out and went through the whole rigmarole. He’s very pleasant and after I evaluated the tub, my wife and I decided to buy it. The tub was about $1,000 less than Safe Step’s competitors, and had some features I liked that the other companies didn’t have.
I like the dual jets from the front and back, and the soft jet from the bottom which oxidizes the water. I fill the tub up and when it gets up over the jets for the little bubbles down the bottom, and I turn the bubble thing on. Then I let it work on my feet and lower extremities because my problem is from my knees down, and it feels really good. I put a quarter of a cup of bleach in that water and it foams. I don’t need any soap and come out sparkling clean. I can get in and out the tub really easy because it has the crawl with the handle bar inside the tub, and Safe Step also put one over the faucets for me. I like the way that the door fastens from the inside, as well as the way it drains. It's a very good tub, and I'd recommend it without a doubt.
I don't have enough hot water. It doesn't quite keep it. That's the problem I'm handling. But other than that I'm happy with my experience with Safe Step Tub.
Everyone (sales reps and installation team) seemed to work well at Safe Step. They set the tub in no time at all and it works great. I'm able to take a bath with the tub as opposed to a regular one where I couldn't fit into and get out. I'd recommend it to others.
My husband picked this walk-in tub. After searching online, he said it was the best one by far. The sales guy and the two installers that put it in were absolutely professional. I love the back jets and the microbubbles. I'd recommend this tub. I have even invited people over to use it.
We love our Safe Step Tub - it's really great. I thought it's something I could need and it worked out really good. In addition, the sales rep I talked to was kind and sorted everything on the tape and he got it set up. Once they had the money, everything was done quickly.
My wife's 91-year-old mother moved in with us and needed a walk-in tub instead of going in a shower. We chose Safe Step, and their team was very good. They were telling me that the caulking was coming loose on some spots but other than that, it's doing good. I like the way the tub heats up and just relaxing in it. We're very happy about it and enjoy it. I’d recommend it to a friend.
We have a brand new Safe Step Walk-in Tub. It helps my husband, his bad shoulder, and one bad knee. I've also used it and I may have had the water a little too hot. I have MS and I really got to watch what I do and what I don't, but it's very user-friendly and very nice. I like it when it changes colors. It is very nice and we're very pleased. I got to become a little more user-friendly too because I don't know which button I'm supposed and not supposed to push. I've only used it one time and it made my MS flare up. Maybe I've had a little too hot water, but it really makes my feet feel good. Sometimes I can't feel my feet because they were numb, I can walk across a nail and I wouldn't know I did so that feature is really nice.
My Safe Step Walk-in Tub is everything that I want. It's great and I love it. The jets are my favorite. If I had any complaint, it'd be that it fills too slowly. However, I understand that it's because there's so much water that has to be put in. But it's fine.
I like all the features of our Safe Step walk-in tub. It works well and we're happy with it. The salesman and the installer were both excellent.
I've looked at a number of different styles and companies of walk-in tubs on the internet and Safe Step was offering everything I was looking for. Their sales team was excellent. Their installation team was very nice, efficient, and absolutely cleaned up afterwards. I had nothing to do but get into it and use it. I like the micro bubbles. I love my walk-in tub and I don't ever want to get out of it, I even put pictures up on Facebook and brag about it all the time.
The salesman from Safe Step Walk-in Tub was really good. If he were selling a can of milk, I'd buy it. He pointed out what cost to go to a nursing home. It was either that or the nursing home. I think it'll pay for itself and it'll be beneficial. We really had to have it. So in the end everything went fine with the salesman and I don't have any complaints. When it comes to the tub, my favorite feature's the water. I just fill it up to the seat. I take a bath myself and I like to lay down in the tub. My husband apparently really likes it too. He stays there quite a while (an hour to an hour and a half) and it's hard to get him out. On the whole, we chose this tub and we're happy with it.
We called Safe Step and the man who came to talk to us about it was very informative and friendly. We enjoyed the presentation that he gave. Adding to that, the installation team was super and did a great job installing the tub. The main guy and his helper were very nice. They picked up everything and cleaned up after themselves. I love my walk-in tub and many of its features. Just being able to get in and take a bath is wonderful (I hate showers).
I had a very good interaction with the sales and installation teams. I like the jets of the tub and the lights makes it really relaxing. I also like the day part, which was the feature that another company did not have. So far, I'd recommend Safe Step.
I am very dissatisfied with my tub. Well, I think the tubs beautiful. I think the tub is really nice. I like the jets. I like the heater in the seat. I like all the features other than that one thing. It’s not with the Safe Step sales people and installers that I have complaint with. It’s about the door, it’s not wide enough when you open it in. I’m 78 years old, a tall person, about 5’9”. I got bad joints, knees and ankles. I walk with a walker. I have a hard time to get into it and it’s an ordeal for me to get out of that thing. Not everybody is skinny and slim. Anybody that’s impaired and tall, that tub is not designed for tall people per se. If you were impaired, you would understand.
A super nice lady came and showed us videos and all, she is trying to address my issue about it. She showed the inside of the tub, all the breakdown of how it was manufactured. My son said that they will do another mold for me. But I refused because it is going to cost a lot of money. They could have cut back and made that door wider. I got my first tub from Safe Step that I’ve had for about 10 years and this is my second tub. It has a lot of nice features but the door is a no-no. I am still disappointed. The only thing I know is that the engineer need to get on with his job. But, no. They engineered it for people that could get in and out. My issue about the door is the only downside for me. I cannot recommend the tub to people that’s like I am.
The sales representatives and the installation team were very nice and friendly. The installers had to take two of my doors out to get the tub in, but they put everything back, so you'd never know those doors were taken out. They didn't mess up the paint. They installed the tub and showed me how to operate it. They did an awesome job and now, I love that I can walk in, sit down and take a bath without falling.
I got Safe Step's advertisement in the mail along with several others, and I thought that Safe Step was the best choice. I’m very satisfied and I feel that the operating the system works well. However, there are a few things that I would make perfect. There’s something wrong with the hand sprayer. It looks like they’ve added this from another tub and it was not made for this tub because it doesn’t have its own station. The tub's features are all good except the placement of the controls. In getting in and out of the tub, why should anybody come in contact with the button that turns the water on? It’s also hard to know when the tub is on because of the bidet positioning. My wife would turn it on and she can’t tell that it's already on. There should be an indicator, perhaps a light, to show that the bidet is on and in the right position.
The installer did a good job except that he broke the closing device that goes up and down in the sink right next to it. I had a suspicion he dropped something down there and in trying to extract it, he broke it. It’s not an expensive thing, but I can’t get down anymore to put it in. I’m 84 years old and handicapped. I fell down about two years ago and broke my hip. I’ve seen things that I like to do and tackle, but I can’t do it anymore.
I’m also having a little problem with my wife entering and exiting because there’s no way to secure the door. She’s the one that I bought the tub for. I can still get in and out of any tub, but she needs a comfortable way of getting in and out. She is handicapped and in a wheelchair, and the door should be stable since it’s the first thing she comes in contact with. That’s something that they have to address. I’m an engineer by trade and I have a very easy and simple way of fixing that problem. With the right connection with the people at Safe Step, this can be solved.
The sales guy was super friendly and helpful. It was easy for him because my wife knew exactly what she wanted, and he just had to know how to say yes. The install team were also great. My wife had an accident when they were here. She asked them to leave the room so she’d go to the bathroom and tripped herself. It took a couple of minutes for them to hear her calling for help, but they went in to help her. I didn't expect them to be medical guys but they were extremely helpful in taking good care of my wife. They told us the install would take 2 days, and said, "We'll be out of your house by 5 o’clock on Friday." The installers left at 4:30 on Friday, and everything was clean.
Everything was exactly as we wanted. But the little thing that's put in for adding oils to the tub is missing. The installers said that the company would mail one to me because they broke mine on install, and I never saw it. But overall, I recommend Safe Step and I actually had recommended them. I like the fact that I can turn off the back bubbles as the tub is filling so I can keep my feet being massaged until it gets to the right depth.
I’ve tremendously enjoyed my Safe Step tub since I’ve had it. They have very good innovation. I like the seat being warm. I like the changing of the lights. It reminds me of the 70's when it’s kind of psychedelic and it relaxes me. It also feels like it helps my feet feel with the jets because I have diabetes and I have that nerve damage in my feet. Their sales representative was very professional and explained things to me so that I can understand them. The installation team were very professional, they did a very good and fast job. Faster than the time I have thought they would need.
We're very pleased with the plain tub that we got from Safe Step. Their sales rep and delivery team were good.
Since we got the walk-in tub my wife hasn’t gotten the chance to go and use it, but I have and I'm enjoying it. If I want to, I can fill it up and use it as Jacuzzi tub.
I like the shower and jets a lot. However I have a problem with the bidet feature. To be able to use it correctly, I have to turn the air wide open so that it will wash me good. When I do though, the water goes up in the air. I just about got it down pat, but I've learned after a while to put some towels on the floor because I don't want water on it. You have to have a lot of air to it. Otherwise, it just sorts of trickles up. But I really like the bidet feature, it helps a lot when one gets old. Also, Safe Step's sales rep was nice and I didn't have a problem with their installation team.
I call my Safe Step tub my spaceship. The whole thing is dynamite. I’ll give the sales representatives of Safe Step a 100%.The time that I had it, I can’t see anything going too much wrong. If something goes wrong, they’re right in to fix it.
I love getting into my Safe Step tub - we have the jets on it. Safe Step's people, from the sales representative to the installation team, were very good as well. I'd recommend this company.
I like Safe Step, but I only use it as a bathtub and haven't used it for pleasure yet. The installers were really good and I didn't have any problems at all with them. One thing I'm a little bit disappointed about with Safe Step is that I remember the rep told me that there's custom size to fit whatever my size was, and I should have asked her to make the tub a little bit bigger. I wish I could lay back and relax in the tub, but I can't because it's a sitting tub. Also, their tub opens in the door and I wish it would open out the door. But overall, I will recommend Safe Step.
I'm excited to have my first experience with my Safe Step Walk-in Tub. It will be weeks before I get to enjoy it because the house isn't ready. The sales representative was very good, detailed and polite, and the installation team who came in was very informative. It made me feel good that I even get to speak to the owner, and he was super. I'll be glad to advertise for their company at our business that we have. I have already showed it to people and they have been very impressed of what they have seen.
When the Safe Step salesman came out and talk with me about it, I got it as it was good enough. I'd seen things of other companies, what they’ve had and done and I didn’t like some of the things I heard. With Safe Tub, I like that they had the heated seats and the nozzles. Their installation team was outstanding. As for the tub, I have a problem with my legs and the jets in it help with the circulation so I like them.
My wife only takes a shower and she's afraid of falling that's why I got the Safe Step Walk-in tub. Now she can sit down and be even more comfortable. And my favorite feature is the micros on the back.
I enjoy my Safe Step tub. It works well. The guy that came and talked to me about the tub was very nice. Everybody I had any dealings with was excellent. My concern was the hot water tank is not big enough to handle the water in the tub. I couldn't find on the website about how many gallons of water the tub held. The consultant who came first should have gone over the thing they handed out after the tub was installed and discussed it because it would really put I'm the only one that can use my tub until I get it fixed. I only have a 20-gallon hot water heater and I it takes about 50 gallons to fill that.
I really would like to recommend to Safe Step that they go over in detail with the customer the pamphlet that tells everything that they cover and the cleaning and everything. I don't know how much they do there but when they finished off my tub, one end looks beautiful and the other end they said would have a little hole. But they could have put the same kind of piece that they put on the other end and that would have made it look finished.
When I got up in the middle of the night after the tub was installed, I didn't have any water. They shut down the water at the sink which they forgot to turn back on. I called the service and no one was there to answer the phone so I left a message. They didn't call me back but they did call the repairman and the repairman called me. I thought that was funny because they're a big company but nobody was there to answer. They said they were unavailable at that time. I waited about an hour and nobody called me.
I also had a question about the cleaning because I didn't get my paperwork for four days after they installed it. They forgot it because this was a display model. The guy that talked to me about it, he said that "You rinse it and then wipe it down with the water hose thing." When I got the booklet, it said to use a window spray or something that was okay for acrylics to keep the shine. The guy who was there used a Mr. Clean pad on it and that will take the glaze off. So I bought myself one but when I read that, I thought to better wait and see what they have to say. So, I didn't use it.
The sales rep of Safe Step was very good. He explained everything to us. The installers were really good, too. They got in and out right away and also cleaned up real well. It’s nice to be able to get in the tub again to take a bath although I do have one problem. The door is hard for me to latch tight. I don’t have the strength to really push the handle down. Today I flooded the bathroom because I didn’t notice that it wasn’t all the way shut. I try to make sure now before the water gets up there.
My husband and I were looking for new tubs and we saw the Safe Step walk-in tub ad. It seemed to be the one that we wanted so we decided to get it. The installation team that came in was excellent. I have a bad left knee and I like the door of the walk-in tub because I don’t have to lift my legs to climb in. That was the most important feature that attracted me to that tub, and the rest of it was just gravy. I love my tub.
I liked the way Safe Step handle business so we went with them. They are upfront. The sales representative did a good job in answering all the questions I had. He made us feel comfortable. The installation team also did a good job in putting the floor reinforcement. Our floor was a little damaged but they took care of it. They put molding around the corners so we don't get caught on anything. They cleaned up the area, too so the installation was a really a good experience.
We love our Safe Step tub. I like the microbubbles and the jets on my back and legs. Katie likes them, too. She's 82 and she's had some strokes and other health problems but she's able to get in now on her own. I'm out of town quite a bit and I feel a lot safer with her using our Safe Step tub. She doesn't need to climb over or into the tub where she might fall which has always bothered me. We have talked to other people about our tub. We had a family day a couple of weeks ago and a lot of other people in the neighborhood were here, too. I was so proud to show it off and a lot them wanted information about it.
We had a great sales experience with Safe Step. The lady that came out was very professional. She knew her craft and she impressed me. Bob from the installation team was a fantastic guy. His wife had just died a couple of days before but he was cheery, informative and helpful and telling us all this good stuff. The product is awesome but I have some problems with it. It's a waist-high bathtub and not a bath-module where we can get in and be totally submerged. It also takes too long to fill up.
Another thing that I find disheartening is the button placements. If I take my hands out of the tub and I naturally rest them on the side, I'm turning off function I've got like the micro-bubbles. It should be some kind of containment slide that goes over it, not necessarily a flip something that would endanger it. But something very simple. The way it’s designed is great but maybe it should have those little snap on shower things that we put on our kitchen sink to rinse our hair to clamp over the hose so that while sitting there and filling it, water won't shoot out and splash them.
I'm recommending the product. The only drawback is the pricing because all these old folks are on fixed incomes. But it’s a wonderful product. When somebody who has some problems tries the therapy on and the micro-bubbles and sits there for fifteen minutes, they'll leave feeling good and asleep. The good thing I like about it is it prevents accidental slipping under water with the design it has.
Safe Step’s rep was very nice and informative and their installation team did a great job - I didn’t see how they installed my tub that fast. Moreover, I like tub's jets on my back. Overall, my experience with the company has been good, and I’d recommend them.
I wanted to get a Safe Step. They were expensive, but it was said to be the safest one. It was 4 inches that you step over. The others are higher. I had somebody from there come out and talk about it. They told me all about the features - it has more features than other tubs like a Jacuzzi. Lowe's and Home Depot have their similar tubs, but you have to have them installed. The man who came out here to sell me the tub wanted a 30% down. I told my daughter, who's a CPA, about it and she said "There's no way I would pay somebody 30% of that kind of money and just turn around and walk out of my house... I will pay when the job is done. And you have time to check these people out... It could be a scam." So she checked Safe Step online and a lot of the comments said, "Do not give them any money until your tub is installed properly."
I told the salesperson about this, and he said they'd take some more money off if I paid cash. All the deductions that they gave me helped sell their tub to me because I got a good bit off. But I won't pay so much cash upfront. The salesman called his boss and he said, "We'll get the check when we get it put in." The salesperson also told me that I don't have to use any soap with the tub. All I had to do was turn it on and the bubbles will do down there, clean my skin, and exfoliate it. But the people who installed it laughed and told me I still have to use soap. That made more sense. Although it could turn people off if the salesperson says that.
After the installation, there have been a couple of things that didn't come up when one of the installers gave me instructions about the tub. He told me I don't have to use the bath jets. But, why wouldn't I when I have them? I found out later that if I use the bath jets, they squirt water all over the bathroom and everything gets wet. There should be a precaution not to run them until you get the tub completely full. Since nobody told me about that, I had a couple of experiences where everything got soaked. There's also a heat regulation feature that they did not put in and they don't recommend them. They said it causes more trouble for the tub. Why would you even say you had that feature if you don’t recommend it?
Safe Step had the features that I liked in a tub. The experience with their sales representatives was very pleasant and the installation team was wonderful, too. I like the tub. However, I found out a couple of weeks ago that there's a place on the west side which holds water next to the wall where the tub sits. They left a little groove there and all the way down about the size of a finger. Water accumulates when we take a shower and it stays there because there's nowhere for it to go so it looks rusty there. I don't know whether it's cracked or not but it's not supposed to be that way and I'd like that to be fixed.
We purchased a Safe Step tub because we liked all the features of it. Also, our experience with their sales representatives and installation team were all positive so we'd recommend them.
We are very satisfied with our Safe Step tub and happy that we bought it. The only thing my wife doesn't like is the shower because it's too far away from the tub. Other than that, we had a really good experience with it.
I purchased a home with a Safe Step walk in tub, it was one of the selling points to my home purchase. I never used the shower head portion of the tub once I bought the home. When I finally used the shower head, it leaked through the floor of the 2nd floor and through the ceiling on the first floor. I called the customer service department and they said because I didn't purchase it from them they couldn't help me. I went so far as contacting the seller of my home to see if he would call them, as he only installed the tub 6 months before I purchased the home. He gladly called them for me (and made a friend because of it) and they told him to have me call a plumber. He was just as furious as I would. Now when I call them I can only get an answering machine. Thanks a lot Safe Step, you turned my home purchase into a nightmare the last 2 years.
The sales rep at Safe Step was very nice and wonderful. The installation team was great, too. I like the bubbles that come up. It’s so great on the skin. I just wish I could stretch my legs out more. It’s too confining and it’s not long enough. It's also hard to recommend this to a friend because it's a very expensive investment and most people can't afford it but since having the walk-in tub, I do sleep better.
I wanted a tub and the Safe Step salesman talked me into it. He's a nice fellow and a fast talker. The installer was also very talented. He did a nice job putting the tub in and had it done quickly, too. I like the jets especially on my back after I work a while. I'm 80 years old so I have a lot of pains. My tub helps take care of them and I feel better after I get out of it. I would recommend them but they could improve their tub by having more jets. I'd also like to set a thermostat gauge in it to tell the temperature of the water and a clock to tell me how long have I've been in or how long I've been doing this and that.
I like everything about our Safe Step walk-in tub. Installation went well, too. I'd recommend Safe Step.
I’ve been enjoying Safe Step more and more every time I use it. The tub has been wonderful and I’ve been recommending them to several people that I know.
I compared the Safe Step tub with Jacuzzi and another one and Safe Step was the better-looking one. The salesman was truthful. He can sell the tub to an Eskimo in the North Pole. The installation team was outstanding, too. When I walked in I was amazed. I couldn't see a hole, crack or mess. They should be given an award for their expertise and it didn't take them long to do it, too. When I walk into the tub, I know I'm going to have a nice, soothing, go-to-sleep bath. And I do go to sleep sometimes. It's really a gorgeous-looking tub. The only thing I don't like about it is it takes too much water.
I'd recommend Safe Step walk-in tubs. My brother told me about them and in my experience, their sales representative and installation team were good.
So far, it's great with Safe Step. I'm enjoying it. However I was going to call one of their local service reps sometime to check of the aroma thing is working or not.
I called Safe Step and a nice young lady explained everything to me, and I decided to go with them. The installation team came in at quarter to nine in the morning and left at 4 o'clock. Good experience with Safe Step. It's nice to have a tub that I can walk in and sit down.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend Safe Step. It's nice but it's not big enough. When a person that weighs 205 or 210 pounds stuffs himself in that little spot, that doesn’t work out really good. So they ought to put a little warning on that, in my opinion. Also the installation team was good until they left and I had some torn wallpaper in about three places. And one of their repairs, where they took it out, it tore a big piece out. They fixed it but it didn't look real good.
The gentleman from Safe Step was very good and nice. He explained it all to us. He even tried to get us more help by getting us a demonstrator. The installation team was also very good. They showed us everything on it and what they were doing. They even cleaned up after themselves. I haven't used the tub but my husband used it. He loves the jets and likes that it is easy to get into.
I had seen Safe Step over a period of time on the AARP magazine but I was never in a position to own one because they were expensive. I put it on the back burner thinking someday I'd like to get one. I've seen it one time advertised on TV again, and that caught my attention to it even more. And then, I decided to call. I had a very nice representative come and then I went ahead and decided to buy it that day. The installation team was very nice and were very sufficient. They did a good job, so I'm very satisfied. I like the tub but I don't use it everyday. It uses a lot of water, but so far I've been enjoying it and everything that it's doing is beneficial. I like using it for my back because that's where my problems lie.
I watched the commercial, makes me laugh when I see them demonstrate and they get in there with their clothes on. And sitting there, they're all dressed up ready for their photo shoot. But the one picture there, when she shows her head lain back, I don't see that happening in the tub because it's a sitting tub. So I don't know how she positioned her head unless she slid down somewhat. I'm quite agile yet and I have done that. So I was able to scoot down and let the water come up to my neck. Otherwise, I can't use the jets until that water has covered the jets in the back. The tub's a little slow when filling but maybe that's all the water pressure I get here at this house. But I like the warm seat so it doesn't bother me. I'm sitting comfortably as the water's filling up so I’m going to be enjoying it.
My Safe Step tub was installed Monday, two weeks ago. The installers were super and did the whole job nicely in about eight hours. They took the whole tub out, put the new one in, tried it out, and worked it all up. However, I've been trying to get a hold of them in Tennessee because I can't get the instruction manual for it. It didn't come with it and they won't send me one. I've had the local salesman that sold it to me call them, too.
My overall experience with Safe Step has been good. I like the jets, the aroma device on it, and the way it massages the back and everything. I highly recommend Safe Step.
Their sales rep was very nice. He showed us some pictures and told me all about it. I knew that it was time that I needed something safer to shower in. Installation team was nice and quick. They were here for whole day scheduled as a clock and got it all done. With Safe Step, it's a lot easier and comfortable to get into the shower. The bubbles are soothing and everything feels good. I like it a lot. However, I started out having numb feet and they said they would call about a month or so to see if it was hurting in the end. When I used the jet, it helps a little bit more each time.
I've only used the Safe Step tub once and it's alright.
My Safe Step tub is wonderful and I love it. The guy who installed it went over and beyond what was necessary. He was amazing and kind which made the whole experience even better. I like that I could sit down, walk in, sit and have a wonderful warm bath. I can also choose whether I want to use the teeny tiny bubbles or only use the regular one or sometimes I alternate them. I love the color therapy as well, but I don't know where to get more of these aromatherapy things. They should have given samples of all of them so I could choose which one I like. That would be the way to start that off. Other than that, it's amazing and I'm moving 100% better than I did.
The sales rep from Safe Step was only an hour drive away from our home so that was good. On the other hand, the two guys who installed the tub were very efficient. I like all the features of my walk-in tub and I'm pleased with it.
We ripped out our other shower and used the Safe Step Tub instead, and my wife says that her legs feel better after using it. It also benefits me due to certain health conditions, so I also enjoy it. Of course we didn't enjoy the immense expense, and there’s a few things that we found wrong about it. We also hit the plunger that’s so close to the door many times when trying to get out of it, which makes it go, so I have to have a solid place to put my hand since the water switch is in the way. It should be moved. Even though it was explained to us, I think there could be more information on each of the switches since we have to keep some of those switches that turn different things on. When in the tub, I have to turn around from the seat to use the buttons. They’re not well placed, and they could have been in one spot, that way I don’t have to turn around right, left, and back just to use the buttons.
We will also have to call Safe Step to see if they would come over to add a wooden shelf because the unit is too low, and the water gathers in there. There’s a quarter inch of water along one side, which is not too good and the tub’s a little smaller than the opening. I also found out that if I’m in the step-in, the door is in the way, and it’s so wide that I have no place to step back because of the seat. Other than this, the tub’s a quality product, it does some of the things it’s supposed to do, and the company has tried to make it very useful in that it works for a lot of people, but personally I wouldn’t have paid that amount and in some respects, it’s cumbersome and isn’t easy to clean due to its depth.
I saw Safe Step Walk-in Tubs on TV commercials. Their sales representative was really nice and explained everything to us, how it worked, and stuff like that. Their installation team were also great and professional. They did a really good job. I like everything about the walk-in tub. It’s all good so I would recommend it to a friend.
I love my Safe Step walk-in tub. I like the heat on the bottom and also I like that I can fill it up almost to the top.
I like sitting and relaxing with those tiny bubbles in my Safe Step walk-in tub. I would recommend them. Both their sales representatives and installation team were very nice.
We called Safe Step to get an estimate. The sales guy showed us all the other stuff from other people who we ended up having appointment to come give us an estimate too. He pointed out several differences like for instance another company offers a cosmetic-looking wise where the hand nozzle is hidden and is connected to the bathtub itself. You don't need a rod on your wall, so we liked that. It comes with heated seats and little air bubble things and none of that's gonna be offered separately. It all comes together with one price so we decided to say, "Okay, go ahead do that."
The Safe Step sales rep explained himself well and their installation team were very clear and precise. I would recommend Safe Step. I've been using my walk-in tub everyday and I'm content with it. It is safe and everything is close by so I can maneuver everything.
I am a veteran. I bought a Safe Step walk-in tub because of my back and some of the things that occurred in service that I really need to sit down and soak. Everything went well with the construction. They were all on time, I love the tub, and I would recommend them. The only problem is the communication after installation. Up to this day, I don't have a bill. I haven’t had anybody call me after everything's done to see how it’s going and if I received my first invoice. I don't really have a lot of time to track them down and I surely don't want any negative credit reports, but I don't have a point of contact to call for the financial side of it.
I checked out some online reviews about tubs and their differences, and I didn't realize there were so many. I saw a couple of infomercials about Safe Step so I did the online questionnaire with my information. The next day, a gentleman from Safe Step called. I asked him some questions about the pricing and he was ready to set up for someone to come out. It was fast and I was really surprised. Since then, it's has been great with my Safe Step tub. I love it.
I was looking for a safe tub and after I talked to someone from Safe Step, an appointment was scheduled for someone to come out to look at the area and measure. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. It was a while before the finance guy came out to do the paperwork but he was very helpful and explained all the details as far as what would happen, how it would be installed, all the money details and how much it would cost, how it was to be paid, etc.
It took a while to be approved, but when it did, they let me know when it was scheduled to be put in, and sure enough it was put in within three days. I was happy. They knew exactly what they were doing and I was really impressed with the way they worked together and how they cleaned up after themselves. One of them stayed behind and he showed and explained how the tub works, and then assured me that I could call if I had any problems. I've been really pleased with the tub ever since I got it.
I called Safe Step and their sales rep came out. He was very nice, cordial and everything he said about it or prepared us for was accurate. The main thing I like about the walk-in tub is that I can bathe again where I've had to take showers for years before. I would recommend them to a friend.
I had an excellent experience with Safe Step. The men came at the appointment time. They put my tub in with expediency. They cleaned up and I’m quite satisfied with it. I'd recommend them.
I love my tub from Safe Step. I got it installed the middle of August and I'm enjoying it very much, but I want to start paying on it but I'm having a little problem in getting my payment book or an account number. I've called their customer service, even the saleslady that sold us the tub, and they told me they're working on it. It is very frustrating because we have a time limit to pay for this, otherwise they will zap you with a horrendous interest rate and I'm not going to pay that. I hope they are not stalling to push time so we would get caught in that web of interest rate.
My husband got a Safe Step tub for me. I've had multiple surgeries - 3 on my back, 2 on my shoulders, 1 on my neck and he thought that it would help me. I've had another surgery since we got it and I was not allowed in it for a while but before it, I was in the tub once and it was different. I would recommend it to a friend. The only thing about it is the tub is just not big enough for me. But I liked it.
I wanted a Safe Step walk-in tub but my husband doesn't care for baths. He likes a shower. But on my birthday, he got one for me and I love it. The installation team was fantastic, too. I like all of its features, but the back is what really works and the legs too because I've got arthritis real bad. It really helps because I was in an accident and I've had three knee replacements and I've got plates and pins in my body. I'd recommend Safe Step walk-in tub.
I bought the Safe Step mainly for my mother. I invited the sales rep over to explain the situation. I knew it was going to be a good product and it was just a matter of how much with the negotiations. The installation team did an outstanding job and I'm very pleased with it. It was very thorough and only took them 4 hours. They had to remove 2 door frames on top of that and put everything back nicely. The tub is great. The microbubbles is all right but I like the massage therapy. My mother is also enjoying the tub.
The representatives at Safe Step were nice. However, the guy that came didn't clean up his mess even if it was already a mess in the work area. It was behind a door that stays closed and I didn't notice it until I cleaned it up this morning. In addition, I had to dispose the tub myself. They left it out by the street and we don't have street side pick up and I was told they would take the old tub away. The lady I talked to about it was nice though. She said she'd pay me but I haven't sent her the bill for the disposal of the tub.
Safe Step was fantastic. When they came here to set up the tub, my husband and I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to get everything done. We were amazed because we thought it would take two days or so. They came in at 9:30 in the morning and they were finished before 4:30 in the afternoon. Everything was absolutely perfect. We didn't have to tell them what needs attention. We checked everything thoroughly and we were very satisfied. We were extremely pleased with not only their service but also with the finished product. My Safe Step tub is marvellous and it's the best thing I have ever walked into. I have a lot of problems with my knees and I've already had two surgeries on my back. But when I get in and walk out of it, it's like I'm 18 years old, I feel so healthy all over.
We got a Safe Step walk-in tub for my husband because he's handicapped. We did some research and Safe Step being American made helped me with make my choice. We both have used it and we like it. I like the tiny bubbles while my husband likes the jet. We would recommend it but we don't like the fact that it's not very wide because we're both a little on the heavy side. If my mother was still alive, she would also have great difficulty it because it’s way so narrow.
I like Safe Step's micro-bubbles and the Jacuzzi part because it's very comfortable. I also like the heated seat. No matter how cool the water gets, I don't feel cold and that makes a great big deal for us. The guys who put the tub in were nice and wonderful. They didn't stop until they were through.
We've been real satisfied with Safe Step so far. The sales rep was very good. He was very thorough and helpful, and we just fell in love with him. The installation took them a little bit longer but I'm sure because they had some modifications to make. Both gentlemen were also good and thorough. I like the jets, I probably use it maybe a couple of times a week. My legs hurt and my feet hurt, and I like the jets more than anything on my feet. When I would do the knob to turn it to release, it would flop back and it would stop. And the two guys that did the installation told my husband about it, that sometimes you have to make a little adjustment on the release to let the water out. It worked fine while they were here, but you know sometimes it takes things a while to set in right.
Overall, we've just had a real good experience with Safe Step. We got it for the future, when we get older. It's just easier as you age to get into a tub than a shower. We've already recommended it to a couple of neighbors. I've also recommended it to one friend who has some back and neck issues, and we thought that would be good for him.
We really like our Safe Step tub's micro bubbles feature. And although it took a day and a half to install the tub, it went well. Plus the sales rep was very pleasant to deal with.
Safe Step Walk-in Tub could have been a little bit wider because right now when I sit on it my crotch are too close together. Also, I am way too high for the neck rest, so it doesn't support my neck. It is more there for design. However, I like the massager for the calf and feet as well as the hydro therapy with the small bubbles. The technicians who installed my tub did an excellent and professional job. When the contractor came by for a final inspection I wasn't available, so he never signed off the final on the electrical. My walk-in tub looks good and I would recommend it.
Safe Steps' sales reps have been good, installation went well. I take showers mostly right now and that's my favorite feature, but I thought maybe I'd be able to lean back a little bit more instead of having to sit up so straight. That was really disappointing when I'm in the bathtub. I also thought I was gonna get two 18-inch grab bars and I only got one.
I found an ad about Safe Step on an AARP magazine. The salesperson was really good. The installation was fine but they are yet to come back and put in a couple of ceiling tile on the basement. Nonetheless, we really like it. We love the bubbles in our tub. I would recommend it to a friend.
I saw Safe Step Walk-in Tubs in the paper then I talked to somebody on the telephone about it. A guy came out from the factory, showed it to us and we went ahead and got it. It's beautiful. We are enjoying it. I like the whole thing and my husband loves it. I would recommend it to anybody. A lot of people probably like it but they can't get it, they don't have the finances to do it.
The installation went good but we can't get the back jets regulated. You turn them on and they just squirt water all over the house. The purge cap that goes over the purge hole leaks. Maybe we are doing something wrong. I need somebody to come and fix that so we could use it more. Safe Step doesn't fit our needs as well as we were hoping it would but we're satisfied with it.
Mr. Chynoweth, I will have someone from our Service Department call you and ask a few questions and see if this is something that we can walk you through over the phone, if not, we will send a technician out to your house to help. Glad that you are satisfied with the tub.
The installation of Safe Step's tub went real well and smooth. It took them less time than I thought it would. The jets for my back and feet are my favorite features of my walk-in tub. Also, my daughter, grandsons and my son-in-law all live with me and they all like it.
Safe Step's sales rep was friendly and answered all my questions. The installation was perfect and I like all the features of my tub except for the aeromic feature since it doesn't work very well. I can't smell and they say to buy fragrant beads, which I found, but it doesn't seem to pull the aroma through the water. But in general, I would recommend them.
So far, so good with Safe Step. It's fairly convenient, and I would recommend them.
I like Safe Step Walk-in Tubs a lot. It's fantastic. I can lay back and let water pump on me. The installation guy was excellent and very nice. However, I don't know why I can't put on detergent to wash it, to sit in it and take a bath in it. It's fussing me a little bit.
We originally got the Safe Step tub for my handicapped stepson so my wife could get him in and out of the tub easier than trying to lift him over the tub. Our experience with it has been okay and my son uses the tub. Moreover, our experience with their sales rep and the installation both went good.
My Safe Step experience went great. My dad loves it and it's working out very well. The guy that was sent to us was very informative, and even showed us all the different buttons even before we got it, so we had an idea before we even got the tub installed and how to use it. Installation went smoothly. I thought they were going to be there all day, and it only took them four hours so they did a good job. I'd recommend them.
Interactions with installation team from Safe Step were excellent and I especially like the aromatherapy feature of my walk-in tub.
Safe Step installed the tub quickly but they didn’t do that good of a job because they didn’t level it up, so I had to call them back. So the installer was back today and he was good although it took me four days to get him here and it wasn’t really his fault. I wouldn’t have gotten him until next week if I hadn’t pressured him bad. I got to do that because I have company coming in the weekend and I need to get this trimmed out by tomorrow and get the shower right up so that everybody is going to be able to take a bath. They didn’t have to trim it out because I’ve got a bathroom that I wanted to do, and I want to keep the country cottage look. All they had to do was just carry the older tub out and throw that one in. But without them leveling it up a little better, I couldn’t put my trim on. I paid $** for a damn bathtub, and when you pay that much money for it, you expect premium service.
My experience with Safe Step has been great. Installation went fine and I like all the tub's features.
The sales rep from Safe Step was very knowledgeable. The only issue we had was we had ordered it around Father's Day and we thought it was going to be coming in at that time, but it didn't come in until a week and a half later. The salesman told us, "Okay, I'll let you know", and then I had to call and find out when it was coming. From Tennessee they called me and said, "Oh, no, it'd be like four weeks." So we thought it would be four weeks, but it turned out to be six weeks. We even had to change our schedule around my brother who wanted to take that day off to make sure that he was there when it was done.
Also, we did have to call in because my dad is 91 years (he has a home healthcare lady) and he's slipping on the bathtub. We bought mats but nothing will stick and they said it's non-slipping but it's not. So I put a call in to Tennessee just this week, and they said that the production manager knows what to order and they're supposed to then get in touch with our local man and they're gonna come out and try to install something on the floor so it's not so slippery. Moreover, my brother had his walk-in shower put in by another company and it was cheaper and sturdier than Safe Step. But besides those things, it’s serving the purpose so we’re content with it.
My experience with Safe Step Walk-in Tubs has been fine. Their sales rep was good and the installation team was efficient.
My experience with Safe Step's sales team was okay, but I had a problem with the installation team because they did it incorrectly. I called their customer service at least half a dozen times and I never got a callback while I left messages every time I called.
Mr. Schmidt, I am sorry that you had an issue with our customer service. Our phones after hours are forwarded to an answering service and emailed to us immediately and each morning forwarded to the appropriate person. Each morning, our customer service department is returning these after hours calls along with answering any new inbound calls. Our customer service department is open until 6pm CST Monday - Friday. I hope your problem has been resolved with our installation team, if not, please call our customer service department immediately.
Safe Step was expensive and we already have a service call on it because the lights went out on the tub. It had a couple of chips and I ended up paying on the installation. Also, we're gonna repaint and the caulking needs to be redone already on one end. Moreover, the tub may have settled down a bit, so I'm going to get a service call on it. I've been wanting to call them, but I havent had time to call. Nevertheless, I like the tub although I would have designed the door a little bit different.
The Safe Step rep was good - I liked his product and we didn't have any problems. The installers was a lot fun but I have to call them because I haven't gotten around getting the glue off where the shower curtain is. But overall, I'm pleased.
The Safe Step Walk-in Tubs sales representative was very pleasant and helpful and the installation team was fine. However, I have only been in it once. I'm elderly and I'm having a hard time getting in and out because of its depth.
The sales representative of Safe Step was outstanding and installation was perfect. The problem with the tub is that you've got to wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to fill up and after you bathe, you've got to wait 15 minutes for it to empty. But overall, I would recommend them.
The installation went smoothly. I like Safe Step so far... it's nice.
The Safe Step installation team were great and did one hell of a job. So far, it’s good although, I haven’t received the monthly bill yet. But overall, I’d still recommend them.
We love our walk-in bathtub from Safe Step. Everything is good on it. I like the part that I can take a shower and not have to worry. It's so gentle that I don't even use the curtain and mess up the bathroom. Service-wise, my interactions with their sales rep went very well and their installers were wonderful and couldn't have been any nicer. I'd recommend them.
I bought Safe Step tub for my mother and she's very happy with it. Their sales rep was very good, knowledgeable and polite. The installation of the tub also went smoothly so I'd recommend them.
Safe Step is a wonderful tool and is very nice. It is very convenient for older people and those that have disabilities to get into a tub safely and be able to feel safe in the tub while they’re bathing. I have a daughter that has a disability and I put her in there and turn on the jets, and when she got out, she would feel so relaxed.
Sales representatives from Safe Step Walk-in tub were all very nice. The installation was done within a day so that was fine. But I'm a little disappointed with a couple of things. One is that when the bubble bath comes on, it was shooting all over the bathroom so that wasn't good. Customer rep told me that it wouldn't do that if the tub is full with water. He said the water had to be as high as all those jets on the back seat. I don't think if I were to conceive of a tub like that, that it needs to be full of water in order to get the full benefit out of it. And that is a lot of water. Also, there are some buttons that either didn't work at all or didn't work the way I thought they should, but it's a new object that I have to get used to. So I did call them the other day because I didn't know how to use all the buttons to their best advantage. I asked if they could send me a step-by-step instruction booklet and the rep said he would do that.
The Safe Step tub is a good piece of equipment. The installation went very well and it's working good for my wife who has dementia. I even use it. I recommend it highly.
I’m in love with my Safe Step tub. I’ve had some nice experiences, but I had to learn some things when using the tub. One of the things that frustrated me a little bit was I like to put my arms out and relax, and every time I do that, the buttons for the bubbles either turns on or off. So I have to not put my arms up anymore and I keep forgetting to do that. But as far as comfort, it’s very nice and very easy to get in and out of the tub.
Another thing that I had to remember is to make sure to lock the door. I have diabetes and sometimes my feet are cold and I can’t get them warmed up. One night I had gotten out of bed, went into the tub and put a small amount of water in the tub - just enough to cover my feet to get them warmed up. I had the door closed but I didn’t have it completely locked. And because of getting up in the night, I had water all over the floor.
Moreover, the sales reps that we talked to didn't take long to get their point across, and my husband was pleased because they gave us a very nice veteran's discount. We had shopped around before and none of the other companies offered us that. The discount was one extra nice thing that we got from Safe Step, and it's the reason why we purchased the tub because it brought down the price enough that we were able to afford it. The installers were very courteous, nice and speedy. I was surprised that they put it in in the length of time that they did. The tub has a beautiful appearance, and looks like it was built there from the beginning. They cleaned up their mess, and left everything like it was a brand new bathroom.
My experience with Safe Step has been real good. The sales rep I talked to was a good salesman and he was great. Moreover, I was surprised that the installation was done in the first day. I still don't know all the tricks of the tub, but I enjoy it so far.
Their sales rep and installation team were both very good. I chose Safe Step because their step was a lot lower compared to other retailers. The jets are my favorite feature. However, I don't use it everyday because it takes up so much water.
The installers of Safe Step were really good. They came in and did what they were supposed to do, then cleaned up after themselves. They were really good at what they do so I'd recommend them.
I saw an ad about Safe Step Walk-in Tubs on TV. I also read about it on the AARP paper. They seemed to have the best guarantee over other ones so we purchased from them. I also like the micro jets of the tub. However, I haven't been able to use it recently as much as I wanted to because of a rash on my back - I can't get my back wet. There's also one mistake I noticed on the papers. That tub should be in mine and my husband's name. Nonetheless, I'd still recommend this product to a friend.
I’d recommend Safe Step. My experience with them went well and I'm liking the product so far.
I decided to go with Safe Step because I saw Pat Boone in their TV commercial, and I have friends that have it. I wanted something safe. I asked Safe Step the prices afterwards and when they told me, I was shocked. But the sales representatives were very good, and the installers, Patrick and Nick, were awesome, kind and went through everything with me.
I am not really nuts about the tub. I have a hard time getting in it through the door. When I talked to one of my friends, she paid $8,000 for her tub and I told her I ended up paying $13,300 for mine. I really feel like it was a rip-off, and I should have investigated other tubs. I only use the tub once or twice a week, and I can’t see people staying in it a whole hour. It takes 15 minutes to fill up, and I’m set in there for 20 minutes. I’m not one of those people that can lay in a tub, but I talked to a friend who has arthritis like me and I told her she might like it a lot better than me. In fact, I invited her over to try it.
My wife enjoys using the Safe Step Walk-in Tubs and it helps her pains. Our sales rep was very nice and the installation team were fast in doing their job. I’d recommend them.
The sales rep was very good and covered everything. And the installers did a very quick job. We like sitting in the tub with the jets. I sit in it twice when my hemorrhoids are bad. I know the water is very good for them. They were getting better and I haven't had it since. But we've called Safe Step about our shower sticking on the wall and it won't stay up. At night I hear it hits the tub, so we got to hang it down. It doesn't stay with double-sided tape, and they didn't say when they could come.
I'm totally impressed with
