I received a new 10 piece set of Rachael Ray pots and pans for christmas. So excited! Used them for the first time today. Made chocolate chip pancakes and washed them after. The non stick coating is coming off. I called about the warranty and was told I had to ship the pan back to them, at MY expense and wait through the 6-8 week process of them deciding whether it's their fault or mine. Then wait for them to ship me either a new pan or my original pan back depending on their decision. For what. I just paid for them. Why should I have to pay for shipping?? The whole process is ridiculous. I'm so disappointed and aggravated. I will never purchase her products again. :(

We recently purchased a large Rachel Ray Kettle and used it for the first time today. When we were done with dinner and began cleaning up after dinner we noticed something red on the burner we used for our new kettle. When we further examined our stove and the bottom of our kettle, we noticed a part of the bottom of the kettle had come off and embedded itself into the top of out stove. For what we paid for the kettle, I am shocked it came apart on the first time we used it. We will not purchase another Rachel Ray product. As shown in the attached photos, the part of the kettle that came off melted into the top of our stove.

I purchased a Rachel Ray dutch oven pot. Used a few times and I noticed that large portions of the porcelain enamel surface on the bottom of the pot had chipped off and obviously gotten into my food. The pot was unusable at that point. I called the warranty company provided by the Rachel Ray website and was told that the pot had no warranty and I was told to throw it, my money and my food away. Inferior products made by Rachel Ray with or without her knowledge. When they get to bid celebrities will just sell their name to anyone for anything and almighty buck. She's always trying to help people. Probably a cover up for her guilty conscience.

Wishing I’d read these reviews before gifts were given out. I have text my girls to keep the box just incase of any problems. So disappointed. When you pay the big price, you shouldn't have to think about it again. Now I have to keep an eye on 3 sets. Girls and I are sorely disappointed. My daughters’ words were, “Why would anyone make anything that's not dishwasher safe anymore?” Agree. Shame on me for not doing my homework before buying.

I am very unhappy with the Rachel Ray Dishware from Jewel! It has chipped & cracked from day one and although it says it is microwave safe - it has no warnings of how hot the plates get. My daughter had a pretty bad burn trying to take her plate out from the microwave. I can not be the only one experiencing these issues. I am sad that Rachel Ray would associate herself with such a crappy product! The manufacturers could not have tested these products & if they did then they should be ashamed for taking it to the consumers!

I received a Rachael Ray brand dutch oven as a gift and after 3 months of use, this product has started to burn food when simmering which created a burnt mess on the bottom of the pan that is impossible to clean up with a non-abrasive sponge. I have never used anything other than plastic utensils or put this in the dishwasher. This dutch oven was $79.99 for one piece and at that price, you would expect a high quality product but what she is pawning off is an expensive piece of junk! The company does not stand behind their products whatsoever. All that they offered me was a 30% off coupon to buy another one.... Really! I would not buy another product that she endorses nor will I watch her show again. Please do yourself a favor and do not even think about buying any of her products or you will be sorry! I wonder if the Food Network knows how many people are being ripped off?

I purchased Rachael Ray's 10 pcs. orange non-stick cookware set about 5 years ago. I only hand wash them and use wooden or plastic utensils with them. After the first year, the outside orange coating started to discolor on the bottom. Around the 5th year, the non-stick coating started to peel off. Needless to say, I can't use them anymore cause I don't want my family eating Teflon. Also, one of the handles are loose on one of my pans. I am going to call the company about their warranty. I believe it was 10 years. I just wanted to share after reading about this being a common problem among other buyers. Completely disappointed.

I purchased my Rachael Ray Cookware set several years ago with money received from my grandparents for Christmas. In the beginning I handwashed all pieces as we did not have a dishwasher at the time. About a year into owning my set we purchased a home with a dishwasher in it. Before placing my cookware into the dishwasher I checked to ensure my set was dishwasher safe. We began to notice the outside coating coming off and did not want to have it left on any other dishes so we quit putting them in the dishwasher. I contacted their warranty company and was basically told not to even attempt to send it back because it would not be replaced. It is a shame that I now have to purchase new cookware because of the coating coming off so badly.

I purchased two oval ovenware pieces in gold. One was a smaller oval piece and one a larger piece. I listened and obeyed instructions completely as I am a seasoned cook. I cooked a chicken in the small oval at 350 degrees. The oven was preheated as usual. The pan was set aside. After dinner, I began washing it in the sink with sudsy water, as usual. The handle broke in three pieces while I was holding it and there were hairline cracks along the sides. I did not get hurt. When I called customer service, I was told it was only guaranteed for one month, 30 days. I did not see this mentioned anywhere on the writings. I never would have purchased it or any cookware for 30 days of guaranteed use. I was told there was nothing that could be done about it.

I didn't take a picture because at that time, I was so upset that I threw it in the garbage as I did not want a family member to get hurt. This piece was handled carefully without any deviation. The store where I purchased it in Nov 2011 does not handle it anymore. I have talked to other people and was told similar events happened to them. I am so upset about not having any recourse. We have been in business for thirty eight years in Stroudsburg, PA and always stood behind anything we did or provided. I cannot believe that Rachel Ray would want her reputation ruined over something like this. I feel very disturbed over this and would like some kind of a response. Until this is rectified, her cookware will not get a good recommendation from me.

Blender RRBL2T blade scrapes bottom of canister and cracked it. I contacted 5 different phone numbers given to me by the store of Rachael Ray and others they kept connecting me too. No one seems to know anyone for me to contact. I think this is ridiculous! I will never buy another Rachael Ray product. What kind of customer service is this?

Porcelain Enamel Cast Iron: I bought 2 of these pans 1 year ago. I use each about once a week, and I always handwash them. Within the past month, the enamel began chipping off both of them, making them unusable. For the price, I am very disappointed!

We bought the set not even a year ago, handling it with care. The bottom of most of the pans and pots are now so torn up that health-wise it is not safe. Now, I am forced to buy a whole new set that should have lasted more than just a year. I would appreciate my full money back since it cost us over $250.00. With all the new health concerns coming out with all the toxins and metals that come from these pans and pots when they wear, I don’t think your company should be manufacturing them so cheap that they are done after a year. Most couples can’t afford to buy a brand new set every year. Thanks for your time.

I received Rachel Ray pots and pans as a wedding gift a year ago. I use them everyday. I'm so disappointed. The inside of the pots are peeling, and look so tacky, like I have had them for years. I know this set is not cheap, but i want my money back.

I bought a set of the blue casserole dishes from Burlington for $37.00! I used it one time and when I was sliding it out of the oven, the whole hand part broke off. I have only used the dish one time! My oven was on 225. This is ridiculous. This kind of money for a dish and it breaks that easy.

I also got the Rachel Ray Cookware for a Christmas gift. I used it once and one of the pans is peeling all around the edge. I'm so disappointed. I haven’t had a new cookware in years and was so excited. Good thing I still have the old stuff! I guess cost means nothing.

I got these pans for Christmas and every pan I have used so far is peeling on the inside. I only got one use before I noticed that the Teflon black lining was peeling off. I am scared to use these pans because I am not sure it is healthy to eat what is made in them. I have also read about them imploding and that is terrifying. Rachel Ray, I have been wanting your cookware for years. You thoroughly disappoint me!

I received a Rachel Ray cookware for Christmas. Inside is already peeling. My mom wanted to buy me another set that was more expensive but not dishwasher safe. I chose Rachel's brand because it was dishwasher safe. Now, the inside of one pot is totally peeling off. I’m very angry about this and disappointed. Also, it’s made in China! Come on, RR.

My mother, who is 87 years old, bought a set of oven ware that didn't work in out over too big. She called the company to send it back; they told her she would have to pay for return postage. She told them that other companies send her a return label for their products. They told her that they didn't care about other companies and that was their policy. My mother was getting upset; that's when I took the phone and talked to the representative. They were not respectful, cordial or concerning about returning the product.

They wanted to charge her $35 to return the product. I then asked to speak to the supervisor. He had the same attitude. I asked him to cover the postage and he told me the best he could do was charge $10 and change for us to send it back. My mother had to pay for something we couldn't use. This is a rip-off to the consumers from the Rachael Ray Corporation. All companies we have dealt with in the past have given us free return postage labels to return the product. There should be an investigation into the Rachael Ray Corporation. She's a scammer.

I was cooking this afternoon with one of Rachel Ray's pots and the lid imploded. It created a loud noise and a hole in the lid. The glass shattered on the counter and into my food.

My husband was cooking with the hard anodized pan and the lid just imploded. Glass shattered into the food and around the stove. It was very scary. He was of course right there when it happened. I was grateful he did not get hit with glass. We have a one year old, I am grateful was nowhere near that also. But we are afraid to use the remaining pieces now.

This is the Rachel Ray non-stick enamel cookware with the glass lids. I was using the 8qt. pot boiling some vegetables while at the sink which is close to the stove. I heard a loud pop which also frightened my grandchild who happened to be sitting at the table eating ice cream and I looked over to see what that pop was. Well, the lid on this pot was shattered. My vegetables ruined. There were glass chunks on the stove and floor, and the rest in the vegetables as was the handle. This would have been worst had I been by the stove.

I checked my grandchild to make sure she was not hit by flying glass and removed the ice cream just in case glass had fallen in. I did notice later, I had a couple of scratches by my left leg but I am still shocked by this. What if my grand child was going by at the moment? What if I had at that moment reached to remove the lid to stir? Is there a recall on these pots? I am afraid to use the ones I have now. I took pictures, but don't know if I should freeze the pot in case of evidence. I now have to replace my pots and pans with new ones as I am afraid to continue to use these. This is somewhat of a hardship as I have a single income household due to the economy.
