I purchased a set of Rachael Ray's cookware for a housewarming present for my daughter. I loved to look of the set so I purchased myself one. Boy are we both disappointed. You can’t even use a lid on a pot or pan without the coating getting scratched. We’ve only had them a few months and they look horrible. We’ve only used non metal utensils on them and the pots and pans are scratches. Now, I worry what my grandchildren and the rest of the family are ingesting from these awful pots and pans. I can’t believe she would want her name on something as cheap and possibly dangerous to consumers.

I just finished making a bad review on this place but I just received pots and pans from Rachel Ray. I want to thank you guys for standing by your warranty. I wasn’t expecting to get nothing back and nobody notified me that you were going to send me my pots and pans for the ones that were defective so they do stand up for the word and product. I take back what I said and I’m sorry but you guys do stand by your word. Thank you for all the good pots and pans that I’ve had in the past and I was sorry that this one was a bad bunch but you stood behind your warranty. Thank you.

Jan 2020 we purchased a new red cookware set. Shortly after, using only wood spoons, the inside of the pots/pans were scratched and gouged within only a few uses. Aug 2020 I saw the red finish chipping off in large amounts! I am astonished since I have barely used the pots and pans due to being severely sick for 5 months and unable to eat. We purchased the entire cookware set and the stock pot. I pulled out my receipt and called Target and their employees basically told us that their strict return policy was 90 days no matter what and the supervisor (apparently) said she didn't care if we never shopped with them again when I said I'd take my business elsewhere if this was not rectified.
Both Target and Rachael Ray Cookware need to reevaluate their policies and quality! Horrible. Now I'm reading other reviews of so many people who are experiencing what we have with the product and we should all be refunded by someone. How do we accomplish this? I'll be contacting Rachael Ray AND Target Corporate offices Monday!!! This is just bad business.

I use the smallest pan the most and the color has changed and I have not had the cookware not even a year and the other pans are okay. For now I only use the plastic cookware that’s needed for the pots and pans but I am not happy at all with the purchase for the price. I paid under a year ago 159 plus taxes and they are turning already. I purchase the gray color. I will not purchase anything I mean anything from her company again.

I haven't had the pan for very long. I was going to fry some eggs, so I was heating up the pan on med low. The paint on the bottom of the pan stuck to the range glass top and the handles were too hot to handle. I pulled the pan off the cooktop and it broke the top. Now I not only need a new frying pan, I also need a new range.

I love the colors and the quality. The durability needs to be much better, the non-stick surface gets scratched off too easy. It's heavy enough to feel good but not like a cast iron pan. In 6 years I am already on my second set.

The styling is exceptional in so many ways. I really enjoy the variety of color and I can only imagine what it took to come up with the designs. By designs I’m talking about the styling of each of the various dishes and accessories. Style and color have much more to do with the design of each item than you would think until you use it. The presentation of your table makes all the difference. When they took the time to include an area to hold the dish it made so much difference to me. I like how combining dishes looks so stylish.

I am rating her cast iron Dutch Oven.. It is very heavy and does a wonderful job! I use it for everything from making soups to frying foods. The lid is a good and tight fit. I just used it to make artisan bread and it was perfect for this! Easy to wash and heats evenly. If I had to choose only one pot to keep, this would be it.

The pan was purchased new on Amazon just six months ago. I took the website link on their response to appeal and the link failed. Hopefully someone will sue these people.

I've had Rachael Ray cookware for a little over 3 years now. Overall it's great and being able to use the pieces for 3 years makes it worth the value however the bottoms of the pans stain easily. You can get the marks off with some Bar Keepers Friend and a lot of elbow grease. My largest pan has started chipping and the Teflon coating is starting to come off in spots but for 3 year old cookware it's held up pretty nicely.

My last new set was a gift and it was some Rachael Ray cookware that I wouldn’t buy for myself so my mom did. Screws come loose on ones in my set, handles were coming loose often, they were easily scratched even though metal was never used on them. The set just had a pretty look and a decent price.... You absolutely get what you pay for.
I have since returned to cast iron such as my granny’s Le Creuset pieces. Never thought I’d go back to heavy pots and pans but it’s so worth it. My granny passed in 2003 and I’ve dug out her favorite cast iron styles I grew up watching her use and while it might be on the heavy side, you’ll never have to worry about a handle or anything frightening happening to you. These cast iron pieces were old when my granny was using them and after a couple sets of pretty garbage, I’ll never use anything else. Dishes are an investment when you can afford to get better do it. At least the Le Creuset’s brand can be pieced together affordable and YES....they are worth it. Couldn’t find one user who regretted the purchases.

I like her pots. They're nonstick. I have had a few years and the nonstick hasn't wore off at all which is great. The only thing there's no hole in the top which causes it to boil over when you're boiling food. You have always crack the top or leave it extremely low so you can't rapidly boil anything, but other than that I love them and I wish they would give better utensils that goes with it.

Bottom line is how it cooks and how convenient it is to use, my favorite is a five quart pot. It is not so large at the bottom. It cannot be used on the small burner of my electric stove but large enough to fit the large burner as well, the enamel finish has held up well and it heats evenly across the bottom. So far the nonstick coating is holding up well. It seems thick and of premium quality but I have only had it a few years and I treat it well. The cost I feel is a bit high and leave it at that, if the warranty or the lack there of were better the cost would be on par but after thoroughly reading the warranty you have little recourse.

Rachael's cookware offers non-stick pans so it's easier to cook with as nothing sticks and easier to clean. Instead of the frying pans being all slanted she also offers a big frying pan, but yet it's shaped like a pan. Usually don't want to spend that type of money, but is worth it!!

We found the set on sale so we believe we got a good deal. We purchased the bigger set as we both love to cook. We have not had any problems with the non-stick material. In other sets we have had we eventually had some chipping or color changes. The material used is strong and cleans easily. I bought this set about a week ago from Walmart. I’m a huge fan of Rachael Ray. The set looks nice and I love the color. I took out the set, put it on my counter. I used the small pot to heat some soup. Then I went to put away the rest of the set, the handle part chipped right off. I came on here and saw that it’s a common issue. I’m very surprised that Rachael Ray would allow her name on this quality of product. Thankfully Walmart has a easy return policy.

Bought this set through AAFES in 2015 and within 2 years the non-stick surface started separating from the pan. Never been in a dishwasher, only hand washed. The big pot is easily bent out of round so the lid does not fit as well. The baking pans are great and the utensils are my go to but the pans are ready for the heap. Also the lids have held up well. Not an expensive set at about $80 but still, I expected them to last a little longer.

These are horrible baking sheets-- never waste money on Rachael Ray supplies. Every single time I use them (I've had them for a year now, just getting worse), they "crash" in my oven because they're warping with the heat (whether it's 300 or 400 or 425 degrees). The non-stick thing is a joke-- even with greasing agents, there's residue left on that's super difficult if not impossible to get off. The silicone grips started bubbling after a few uses and are totally distorted, as well. Whole product line should be taken off the shelves. Product: Rachael Ray Yum-o! How do you screw up a pizza stone? The Rachael Ray company has found the secret. This pizza stone destroys everything that touches it. I've used them for years to make pizza crust, biscuits, any type of bread, and they come out fabulous. Not this one. Used it twice, to bake Naan Bread & a pizza crust. Both stuck like glue (yes, it was oiled), had to be aggressively scraped off, and broke into small bits. I mean, they were totally obliterated. Never seen anything like it. I wish I had found these reviews prior to purchasing, but lesson learned. Have to go clean the stone up now, will make a fine clay pigeon that I'll thoroughly enjoy watching being blown to smithereens.

My mother purchased these when I moved into my little home (because this is EXACTLY what I told her I wanted). In the beginning they were AWESOME! I loved to cook because nothing would get stuck to the pan/pot & they were so easy to clean! One of my pans was not evenly round so the top didn’t fit from the get go. I would SCRUB the outside bottom because they would get really black from the fire. And little by little it became harder and harder to get it off- to be honest I actually QUIT trying to take it all off-so now my nice pretty blue pans are ugly and black at the bottom! I would say around the 6 month mark I noticed the bottom of the inside of the 3 pots were all peeling (the non stick)!
I hate using them to cook but for the price my mother paid for them I have no choice (that and because money is tight at the moment & because I don’t have any other pots/pans here). I regret asking for these pots/pans because they didn’t last 6 months without problems. It’s been 2 weeks over a year of having them and I’m hoping SOMEONE buys me new ones for Christmas because I feel it’s so UNSAFE for all that black nonstick stuff from the bottom of the pots/pans to be floating or stuck on my food. I do not have a dishwasher therefore I have always washed these by HAND! Don’t waste your $$$ buying these because they’re pretty - they won’t last very long! PURE REGRET!!!

I understand that stainless steel cooks differently so my husband and I have tried all kinds of things like turning down the heat, more oil, etc. It seems no matter what we do, everything sticks to these pans.
After 1 use, the pan looks discolored and old. Unfortunately, I cannot return them to the store we purchased them from because they're used and I contacted their warranty department which informed me that unless there's an actual defect, there's nothing they can do. After the first use, the lovely color was so marked with black "burn marks" that I could not get completely off. Pans do not sit flat on the burners. Most recent use the small fry pan caught fire at the area of where the handle connects to the pan! I love Rachael, I spoke to Meyer mfg. on the issues and got no satisfaction at all. I should spend time to take numerous pics of the damage, upload it to them to consider whether they want to do anything at all. Or take a coupon to buy other set on their website!! Good luck with that!!! I find it so hard to believe that Rachael would put her name on such a disaster! I am posting this message to hopefully prevent anyone else from wasting their hard earned money!

I purchased a set of Rachael Ray bakeware. I always handwash my pans. The inside coating of pans comes off and into the food. The last straw was baking dinner rolls for Thanksgiving dinner. Ended up tossed the whole pan of rolls (and the pan) out. Bottom of rolls covered with inside coating. Never so upset, especially with a houseful of guests. ;-(

My beautiful red set is now pink! The clear coat washed off and the red color is just slowly washing away. Giving the fact I paid nearly $200 for RED Cookware I am very very dissatisfied! The feeling of the pan now that the clear coat is gone is the worst nails on a chalkboard feeling. I can barely stand the handle the pans. I will not be purchasing any Cookware from Rachael Ray again.

Being an avid tea drinker, I was so excited to see Rachael Ray’s tea kettle in my favorite color orange at my local Walmart Supercenter, so I purchased it and was looking toward to matching it to my other Rachael Ray kitchenware. I have her knives along with the oil dispenser, an entire pots and pans cookware set, and many different sizes of her orange baking dishes. Long story short, I didn't mind paying over 30 dollars for the tea kettle but on the second use I heard a crackling sound coming from my stove top and it was the orange paint popping right off the kettle. Super disappointed.

I picked this pan up at a Sears liquidation sale for about 18 dollars and it is of about the quality you could expect from a $18 pan. Pros: The handle is of good quality, is slightly oven safe (up to 350f), and is riveted to the pan for a longer lasting hold. It is light for its size and browns food beautifully. The pan has few nooks or crannies and cleans up easily with the help of some barman’s friend. Cons: the pan is disk bottomed and so likely to fall apart eventually, and the bottom has too much aluminum and too little stainless steel.
The reason the composition of the bottom matters so much is because it determines how well your pan heats up. Too much stainless steel and your pan takes forever to heat up and doesn't seem to ever reach high temperatures necessary for searing; too much aluminum and your pan heats out of control and even cooking at medium can smoke you out of your kitchen, but it can't maintain heat when you put something cold into it.
Aluminum is a fantastic conductor of heat (protip: putting defrosting items on an aluminum baking sheet speeds up the process significantly) but when on a stovetop that often translates to uncontrollable temperature variation. Putting a chicken breast on a hot pan skin down to sear could result in the pan smoking and hissing at you when it sets down, then cooling down too much to finish the crust and then blackening the drippings you're trying to make a pan sauce with. The reason this is such an issue for those with non-stick coating is the delicate babying the coating requires includes no high temperatures and the ceramic coating on the outside of the pan would not respond well to sudden temperature variations.
My suggestion: see if you can return your pan if you can't stand the idea of swallowing the costs of these pans as a temporary/disposable item and get all-clad. Consider getting stainless steel pans and steel wool or getting cast iron and learning how to season it properly (once well seasoned cast iron has a significantly sturdier non-stick coating than Teflon): once you take into account how delicate you need to be with non-stick surfaces and that you can't sear/brown anything with them they start to lose their credibility as the most practical option. I keep a non-stick crepe pan for delicate tasks like eggs, tortillas and European pancakes.
If you can't return them or if you just want to get your monies worth now that you've got them I'd suggest treating your medium like it's high and letting food reach room temperature before putting it in the pan. It's not hopeless, you can keep these pans going for a good long while if you know what you're doing with them. :)

This was the only place I could find to express my problem with Rachael Ray cookware. There is no direct email to her or manufacturer and only a phone number to the manufacturer but the requirements for inspection are ridiculous. Last Christmas I bought my daughter one set of your pots and pans with the bright orange handles and another set with the darker orange handles. I bought them thru JC Penney and Walmart respectively online. These are the same sets you are using on your TV show. I don’t know their model numbers. I thought these sets were the best as used and sold by Rachael Ray herself.
My daughter who was 24 at the time didn’t really cook that much. It’s just her and I and I am disabled so she does all the cooking when there is cooking to be done. She absolutely loved your cooking sets and since getting them she has really increased cooking meals for us compared to fast food most of the time. I thank you for that. Best money I ever spent.
Just one problem. Everything is non-stick and it really works well except for the 2 steel rivets that hold the handles on the pots and pans. As an example when she makes scrambled eggs in the frying pan it wipes completely clean except some of the egg has cooked onto those 2 steel rivet heads on the inside of the pan. The rivet heads have to be scrubbed to come clean. It is very annoying as you have to run them thru the dishwasher or hand wash instead of just wiping out with a paper towel to clean those rivet heads. Of course some stuff cleans up better than others as I used the eggs as an example.
I don’t know if changing the material of the rivets or somehow coating them with the same coating as the pan coating would eliminate this problem. I just thought as a consumer of your products you might want some insight to what my daughter has experienced with some of your products. This might be something you would consider changing on your next evolution of pots and pans. I just thought you should know. Dissatisfied in Michigan.

If they chose to call it a manufacturer's defect, they will mail you a new product, if not, the customer is not only out of the product but also out the money for the postage to mail it in. A lot of bother and no guarantee you will be reimbursed or given a replacement pot. Just not a good value. Will not buy from her again. Just a ripoff.

I purchased two Rachael Ray ceramic pans and have only had them for a few months. I got so fed up with not being able to clean the pans properly that I had to throw both of them away. I would use a pan to cook eggs or chicken and most of the food would adhere to the bottom so much that I would have to soak the pan for the rest of the day. I spent more time cleaning these pans than cooking with them. These are literally the worst pans I have ever purchased and used. I will never buy any products Rachael Ray makes again.

So to be able to buy something nice and cook with nice things was an absolute blessing. However, most of my cookware is starting to fall apart. My tea kettle that I purchased separately from my cookware set is losing the bright orange metal color. It is flaking off the bottom. I've only heated water in it one time. My pots and pans along with frying pans are doing the same thing and a couple of utensils that I purchased separately (trying to have a complete set of everything) is also beginning to get black on the ends. I am not looking for a handout nor do I want one. I am just displeased with the product and wanted you to know.

In my home I have been using RR Cookware for about a year and since that time we've used it in the dishwasher and have the grey ash on the outside of the pot. After doing some research, I found that the coating that is used is not dishwasher safe though is advertised as such but my biggest issue came this weekend. This weekend while cooking with RR saute pan, I went to grip the silicone supposedly heat resistant handle and sustained a 2ND DEGREE BURN to the palm of my hand and thumb. I went to the ER and was told I was lucky my skin didn't come off. THIS WAS FROM THE SILICONE HEAT RESISTANT HANDLE.
Buyer beware, most silicone advertise cookware is heat resistant so the parts that are metal are never suppose to get heated because of the silicone insulation surrounding the handle. RR cookware was suppose to do this and IT DOES NOT. I now have a burn in the outline of the handle on the palm of my hand. Never touch these pots without oven mitts that are insulated, I don't care what nonsense the RR manufacturer is saying about putting in the oven but they smoke when you do that as well.

Their answer was to send the pot and a pan back (and pay for my shipping) and at that point they will decide if I damaged the cookware. Since the cookie sheet has only 30 day limited warranty there is nothing they can do about that. They did offer me a 20% off coupon to buy another cookie sheet which I of course refused. I noticed today that it had a white haze on the outside of the pan so I ran water over it & began to dry with a hand towel. Red finish came off on my towel & sauce pan is faded.
I called CONSUMER RELATIONS for RR products @ 1-800-214-8369 which has an automated message stating that if you've placed in the dishwasher; discoloration is NOT covered by the warranty. Anything else that "might" be covered requires you to spend your own $$$ to mail it to them to inspect before bringing resolve to you so they put it back on the consumer in hopes most people will not waste their time or $$$ to ship back.
What a joke as the box the cookware comes in as well as online specifically states that product is dishwasher safe. Same with potatoes. Food takes longer to boil, steam and cook and I have gas heat forced to put on high. The pots and pans are flimsy and I just do not get the utensils that go with it. Flimsy as well. So tired of chefs putting out inferior cooking sets claiming that are awesome and probably not the same set they use on TV. I want my money back.

I purchased a set of Rachael Ray's Bubble and Brown Bakeware. The casserole dishes clean up really well. However one piece now has what appears to be mold on the bottom. Contacted RR but they don't seem to care that it is defective.

I order 4 items from RachelRay.com. When the box arrived, one pie dish was broken into 4 pieces as it was against another porcelain bake dish- HUGE box w/ bubble plastic but wrapping was not done well. I called RachelRay.com, gave them order # which I had JUST received today, and they told me to contact Meyer & Co. as they were responsible for shipping. Meyer told me they were not responsible & I had to contact RachelRay. On RachelRay site, ONLY Meyer # is shown for complaints/concerns. What a rip off that they do not take responsibility for breakage - my loss but mostly theirs as I will NEVER order again from them.

I was given the set that included 3 frying pan and 3 pots. Then I got the bakers set to go with my set. Wish I never DID! All 3 of the frying pans now stick. Followed all the washing instructions and only used plastic spatulas. Cookie sheet sticks, washed and dry by hand every time and it still messed up. Same with the cake pans. I would never tell anyone to purchase this crap!!

I was given a 15 pc cookware set in Dec. 25 2014. After a few months the outside of all pans turned gray, and do not look very good. I stopped using them. I believe she bought them from your company. My grandson does not have sales slip, it was a Christmas present. I called the company and they said there was nothing they could do. We trusted the name Rachael Ray but may have been a mistake. I will buy another brand but I wanted people to know, the pans are not worth what they cost.

The pans stained very badly on the bottom --- just from the gas flame. Also, anywhere that grease or oil splatters on the sides results in permanent stains. Nothing removes them. The cookware is worthless. Looks horrible. I can't believe that RR refuses to take any responsibility for this substandard product!

I order 2 set of these with some money I got from my son in law, tan and red utensil holder with all utensil. Ask how many I have--2. The hump they have on the handle for some reason it does not sit right in pan and slips off, hit the floor and they break and I mean break. It never fell... Very sad with the product. I so loved them cause that's all I have in my kitchen--red Rachel Ray...

Product is a load of rubbish, google food processor rrfp1 at see what others say. The blade holder broke completely while slicing, damaged the plastic cover. I would swear that if the cover wasn't on, it would have flung & hit something or someone. The product doesn't do its job. No spare parts exist & Rachael Ray doesn't reply to your tweets about the topic. There should be a recall on this product.

I normally report good news, but this time it is sad to say I am not happy with my orange Rachael Ray cookware. I decided to re-do my kitchen using orange, since it is so bright! I started with purchasing orange cookware and utensils. It has not even been a year and my orange cookware that was once bright orange is now peach colored and the Teflon is not holding up. Such a bummer!! I don't have the wallet to go buy a new set, so I guess I have to make it work, but not happy.

I received my stoneware as a gift about 3 years ago. I follow the care instructions. Last night I was baking veggies in a 375 degree oven. I grabbed the handle using a hot pad to pull out of the oven. The handle broke right off. So disappointing.

I have had my pans, anodized with orange handles for over two yrs, love them all. No problems mentioned in any review. My coating is fine...very little sticks. Even when my youngest burned eggs, they came off with a slight nudge from the spatula. My daughter recently got the red enamel set. She is in love. I called her and asked if she is having any issues. None. The color is perfect, no problems... Four months in a college dorm with 5 other people and they are great!

My granddaughter bought me a set of the 10-piece orange Rachael Ray pans. It started to warp and stained on the bottom very bad. I have a gas range. Called...Said they couldn't help at all, had to go to purchaser of the set. Purchaser said had to go to manufacturer or Rachael Ray. NOTHING WAS EVER DONE. For the price paid for the cookware it is SAD that NO help is given. Only had 3 months put in storage and bought a 14-piece hard anodized Rachael Ray cookware set. Guess I should have known it would be an issue. Now they are getting dark coloring on the bottoms. Have been hand-washed since day one and very careful not to cook on high heat. NOTHING HELPS.
You can bet I will NEVER buy another set of Rachael Ray and will make sure I spread the news of what a rip-off the cookware is and what a high price you pay for them. Guess when you have a TV show and wait for everyone else to sell or do your marketing, WHO CARES, right? Well, just remember -- What goes around, comes back around, and usually WORSE." Sure would be nice to see some decent comments and find out that people really do care about what money we spend and get the best product available.

I received a RR cookware set for Christmas in 2013 and single pot in 2014. I cook in my old pots and transfer to my pretty orange RR pots before entertaining guest. I was unable to remove the very large paper glued to the front of the pot! I decided to use a razor to scrape the paper off. My thumb is now numb from the scraping! That was four days ago, my thumb is still numb! Rachael please use an easy peel off paper on your single cookware. Praying I regain feeling in my thumb!

As a gift I received RR cookware, knives & stoneware set. I cook every day & unfortunately the RR products do not stand up to everyday cooking. The pans non-stick surface everything sticks now. The pots are holding up a little better, however the surface on the outside of the entire set is now dull & scratched up. I DO NOT HAVE HARD WATER nor I never used metal objects. THE STONEWARE was the biggest disappointment costing nearly $60 for one, just one piece proved a waste of money. I have attached a picture of the bakeware set and I cannot explain what happened to it. I cannot even use it as a fruit bowl as the deep cracks are just about to give. I was told I could get a coupon for a new set, I wouldn't take it if it was free.

Hi Rachael, over the holidays last year I bought a set of pots and pans that I loved of yours. Which is the red set. My daughter also bought the same set and after about 3 months I noticed with the sauce pan that the Teflon started coming off from the top heading towards the bottom and now I have another pan doing it. I am just letting you beware of this happening. I hate that it happened because I love a pan that I can fry out of, take a towel and wipe! I could send pics of it just so you can see it but don't want to make an issue of it!

Before purchasing the red gradient 12 piece set, I tediously read through many reviews and after reading a lot of bad ones (color coming off, lids breaking or not fitting) I did not want to buy them, but my boyfriend went ahead and purchased them anyhow. I made him keep the receipt and box just in case. I've used every piece, several times in the past couple months and and pleased to say they are great! They have not lost any color, even the bottoms are new looking. They cook evenly, my omelettes have consistently came out with ease and without the use of any oil.
