Since this was my first time online ordering appliances, I felt very nervous and unsure about purchasing off a brochure. However, Jennifer put me at ease very quickly with her professionalism and knowledge of the Samsung refrigerator. My original intent was to check stock and price on the refrigerator only and look at purchasing the other kitchen items later in the year. But Jennifer convinced me of the significant cost savings by bundle purchasing all the appliances, which is what I did. Later research proved that I had received a great deal and quality brand items. Barry **, one of the company's representative that I spoke with, was one of the most attentive, courteous, efficient, concerned and responsive persons that I have ever been able to speak with, in dealing with my purchasing an item for my home. Purchased new KitchenAid appliances from Plessers. Have not yet taken delivery but so far very happy. Steve ** was very patient in helping us with our decision and gave us good deal. Alicia ** in customer service was extremely helpful following up on our order and in helping process our online rebate application.

I went into Plessers about 2 months ago to purchase a full kitchen worth of appliances. I dealt with Stephen ** in the showroom. I went in for a new stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. After shopping the price around for a few weeks I decided to go back and make the purchase. Plessers was not only the best price but they had the best follow up as well. The two other stores I went to, no one bothered to take down any of my information. They just wanted to make a sale that day. Stephen took down all my info and even checked in with me to see if I had any questions or was ready to purchase. I felt if he cared enough before the sale then he would do the same afterwards. I was correct. This is the reason for the review. I was also notified after delivery that a new rebate had come out and he missed getting it to me. He sent me the form and I got back an additional $125.
I now see why Plessers is almost a 100 year old company. They definitely care about their customers and their staff builds relationships. I will tell all my friends to shop here in the future. I will save time and not shop around, there is no need. They had price and service hard to find today. Thank you Stephen and the Plessers staff. Job well done.

Terrible experience with this place. I ordered a cooktop on a Thursday, and called one week after to check the status. The Customer Service told me it would be shipped on the following Monday via UPS and would send me the tracking number by then. I waited till Monday and nothing happened. I called on the next day (Tuesday), they told me the shipment has not left yet and it would be shipped on Thurs. I asked why it could not be shipped as scheduled. They said because they only have outbound truck on every Tuesday and Thursday.
I questioned them why I was told the shipment would be shipped via UPS on Monday. The excuse they gave me was that the shipment is too big for UPS to handle thus it has to be shipped via a different carrier. The first time I ever heard that UPS cannot ship a 36" cooktop because it's too big. I asked for cancelling the order as I don't how much more delay it could be. Then they told me there would be 15% cancellation fee charged if I chose to cancel. OMG, the product has not left their warehouse yet, and they already want to charge for cancellation. I'm totally disappointed. Will never order from this place again. It's a joke.

WARNING!!! Beware. They will lie to you and threaten you!!! I purchased an LG range from them back April 21 and it was suppose to be delivered to me today (FINALLY) and they canceled my order, told the local delivery company to return the range to them all because I wrote a BAD review on them. This all happens AFTER I have been charged and made a payment on the credit card for this item. Seems to me they are pouting babies. That if you don't like me, I don't do for you. So childish. GROW UP!!!
I really don't see how they see this as legal. I am contacting Consumer Affairs as well as BBB and consulting with an attorney on this matter. This is a crap company. They can't even afford to buy the merchandise, that's why I was charged back in April so they could have the money to buy it for me. It finally came delivery time and they did this. THEY ARE SO WRONG. I was to expect a delivery between 12-4 today. So I have spent my day waiting on the delivery.
At 5 I had not seen or heard from anyone so I called the delivery company to check the status. I was told I needed to call Plessers. I did so and the lady rudely hung up on me two times. I was left here waiting all day and no one called me to inform me of any of this. THEY ARE EVIL!!! God will take care of you. Your time will come. Don't be surprised if you have to close your doors. STAY AWAY!!! THEY WILL ROB YOU! THEY HAVE NO CONCERN FOR OTHERS!!!

I usually don't write review but this time, Plesser's has won me over and deserve to be given 5 stars. Plessers provided services I have not received anywhere in very long time. Stephen, the sales personnel was efficient and prompt and in answering my questions and providing me great information about the product to make purchasing decision. When I had minor defect on the appliance, a number of Plesser's personnel worked so well together to provide me the compensation for the defect. The moment Stephen referred me to Laury in the customer service department; Laury was prompt in communicating with me. Plesser's gave me compensating options for the minor defect on the refrigerator. I am really happy with the service I have so far received from Plesser's. I will definitely purchase from them again. Great sales and customer service.

Hi there, I had a great experience with Jennifer from Plessers Appliances. I have been looking for a great deal on a LG refrigerator and I stumbled on to Plessers website. It was around 7:30 PST and they had the best deal I have found anywhere but the sale was over that same day so I called the 800 number and Jennifer answered the phone. I had no idea that it was in New York and I was in California. I was lucky that she answered the phone on a Friday night at 10:30 EST and she assured me that I would get that price because she was working late that night. The store normally closes at 8:00 EST. So I'm so thankful that she was there and that she even picked up the phone. So I Highly recommend Jennifer at Plessers Appliances.

I bought a Lynx gas grill and a Viking cooktop from Plessers. Jennifer helped me pick the best grill for my applications and she was patient and knowledgeable. She told me delivery would take 2-3 weeks and grill arrived exactly at 2 weeks, exactly as described. The entire process was painless. I will be buying a Subzero fridge sometime next year and I am going to them. Best price, best delivery (quick), best service... who says you can't get all 3.

I had a terrible experience with a Frigidaire refrigerator that I bought from Plessers. I contacted Frigidaire for one year, they did nothing to help. They didn't even honor their warranty. So I called Plessers and after a week they came back to tell me they were replacing the refrigerator for me. Although I would never buy another Frigidaire/Electrolux product, I would continue to deal with Plessers. If it wasn't for them I would still have a leaking refrigerator. We traveled about 40 minutes to get to Plessers Appliances because we had heard they have good prices. When we got there we were greeted by Joe ** who had to deal with my uncertainty about replacing my old working appliances. I was hesitant about retrofitting the new appliances into existing size requirements. He researched and gave me the pictures and specs on each. He took an enormous amount of time with us and patiently watched us leave without purchasing that day. We returned and purchased 4 appliances and asked for them to be delivered in about a month. We heard from Plessers as soon as we purchased and they continued contact to establish a delivery date. Whenever I had a question, Joe responded to my phone calls. Everything went smoothly with the installation except my granite needed to be cut to allow for the stove to be completely installed. It was noted on receipt that the installation was not complete.
Meanwhile, my freezer would not freeze. I contacted customer service and spoke to Dominique ** who immediately got a service repairman from Samsung to come over the next day. He noted that the refrigerator had no Freon. I requested a new refrigerator and was told that they would bring one in about 10 days due to not having any in stock. I was upset about the wait, so Dominique spoke to Joe and I was offered another refrigerator sooner, but it wouldn't fit in my space. When I did get my new refrigerator, the installer did not forget about my stove. He noted what was written on my receipt and installed the stove. Dominique, from customer service, was extremely helpful and always returned our phone calls and followed up with emails. Yes, I had to wait for the new refrigerator, but Plessers has the best customer service I have ever had to deal with. We would purchase from them again.

Once I selected the type of range I wanted to get, I started looking around for good prices. Plessers had the best one on that day. That wasn't the 5-star part. The 5-star part was and is Jennifer **, whom I was lucky enough to reach when I phoned. Due to a number of recent events, I was extremely anxious about the purchase. Jennifer thoroughly negotiated all the discounts and perks she could and explained how to secure the additional rebates. When I was having trouble finding a contractor to help me with my concerns, she was beyond patient. I suspect that, had it not been for Ms. **, I would have canceled the purchase. Her attention and thoughtfulness is rare in the current retail environment. Because of her, Plessers will be the first place I look for all my appliance purchases (and, due to the age of my house, the appliances are dropping like flies). Thanks, Jennifer!

WOW! I as always, I searched fervently prior to making such a large purchase of all new major kitchen appliances. I did my homework and narrowed down the specific items and decided to purchase from Plessers because of Price, No Shipping Costs and No Sales Taxes. Dealing with Plessers was as good an experience as one could have. Laury ** is professional and efficient as a Customer Services representative. From sales to service I am pleased and have referred Plessers Appliances to several friends.

I just had a refrigerator, oven and microwave delivered. I was somewhat hesitant to order from a company I did not know anything about. I cannot say enough good about this company so far. Our appliances were delivered right when they promised. When I contacted customer service via email they responded within an hour. The delivery men (Dwight and Matt) were wonderful and very professional and kind. The appliances were delivered in perfect condition (still have to open the microwave). LOVE this company so far and would highly recommend them.

I did my research and knew which appliances I wanted to get for my new home. I have never heard of Plessers but when I googled the model# they came up with no tax & no delivery. That was a plus. I called the Babylon location. Verified that I would qualify for the no tax & no delivery fee. Additionally, I had some questions. Gene, manager answered all my questions and was so kind. He waited for me to call back once I made my final decision and verified the dimensions and was so helpful with putting in the order over the phone.

I wanted to take advantage of Labor Day sales this year to buy a new refrigerator. I traveled to numerous stores and shopped the internet. I knew I wanted an LG refrigerator but couldn't find one in white, everyone had stainless. I noticed on the LG website they recommended Plessers. I never heard of them and searched online. Not only did they have white in stock, they had the twin XL mattress set I needed too for our son. I spoke with Eugene and he was very helpful. I did have a glitch upon delivery of the fridge when the delivery service did not want to remove our old fridge, and left our new fridge sitting in our family room.
I called Plessers and they agreed that was a mistake and I should have received full service of new fridge placement. They had to work with the company to arrange to an immediate date to return to our home. We live in So California but they did take care of it. I was very please that Plessers did not leave me hanging and were very apologetic about what had happened. Their main concern was to live up to their promised excellent customer service. In my estimation, they did. Mishaps happen, it's what you do with it that demonstrates your competence.

I purchased over 20K of appliances from Plessers and paid them to install them in 2014. In the past two years I've had to have them come fix things that weren't in correctly and I even put a part in myself I noticed wasn't screwed in my DW. My Liebherr refrigerator hasn't closed properly since day one. I inquired about the doors and was told they have a tendency to both open even though you only are opening the left or right door. The doors then have a tendency to stay open a crack setting off the door alarm. After almost two years of painstakingly closing or returning to close an open door, I called Liebherr and they sent a tech. He showed me that the fridge was not installed correctly and was tilted forward which made the doors tend to stay open.
I called PLESSERS and they refused to fix their error saying I should have called sooner. In fact, I had called about the doors as I mentioned above and was led to believe it was just the way that fridge worked. When I was shown by Liebherr that it was tilted forward, I asked PLESSERS to fix THEIR MISTAKE and they refused. I will NEVER PURCHASE FROM PLESSERS AGAIN! BTW, if I'm running a business and had a customer spending that kind of money (I recently purchased two more appliances prior to this problem), I'm sure going to send a tech by when in the area to level the fridge and make the customer happy. AJ Madison and others will give a good price and arrange an install as I'm sure others will. I just can't fathom why PLESSERS would upset a good customer over something like this.

We have recently been victims of the so called tax day floods in Houston Texas. We had just bought the house 2 months prior and it has been destroyed. The journey has been difficult and filled with many obstacles. The most disturbing to us was the lack of care, sympathy and just really basic customer service. Our only shining light in all this process has been Jennifer from Plessers Appliance. She has been professional, considerate and very VERY patient with us. That in itself is rare these days. However we feel she has gone above and beyond to help us out and make it a little easier on us in any way she could. Her employers should be very proud to have her as a representative. As small business owners ourselves, I know we would be.
When we were shopping for appliances to replaced our own, we were looking for the best deals we could find and after doing a long research we came across Plessers and saved us over 3000$ in appliances, considering that we had to replace every single appliance in our house, not to mention that this was including top of the line kitchen appliance which we did not have before.
Also, best service for home delivery since Jennifer offered us a great deal for the in-house delivery to make sure that our appliances were in optimal condition since we can't install the appliances yet due to repairs to the house. They unwrap your appliance to check that is free of any scratches and then box them up again so they are taken care of. Just this service gives us a peace of mind, not to mention that they were willing to keep our appliance in storage until we are ready for delivery. I am happy to say that I am more than pleased with the customer service from place. We would really recommend anyone and everyone to contact her if you value true customer service.

I was a bit hesitant ordering my new refrigerator online, site unseen, but found out Amazon uses Plessers, so I knew that was a plus. I was able to place my order online on a holiday 7/4/16 from my armchair! My order was handled with follow-up and such courtesy and with superb customer service, especially from Jennifer **. It was refreshing to deal with a company who shows appreciation for the customers. Excellent people skills and easy access to the staff do set Plessers apart from the norm. The 3rd party delivery truck company damaged my front door taking my old fridge out. Plessers stepped up to the plate without my asking to pay me for damages so I would not have to wait on a claim from the trucking company. Now that's stepping up to the plate and going beyond my expectations! Plessers is an exceptional company and really take care of their customers. I highly recommend this company. Also, their pricing is the best.

I was hesitant to order online. I like to see, feel, and touch the product as well as know the people at the store who sell me an expensive item. I'm in the media and I don't just write a review unless it somehow will help others in making a great purchase or experience - or not. I was not paid or compensated for this review. I purchased a stunning KitchenAid refrigerator from Plessers on July 12th 2016. It was shipped to me today and absolutely love it. It was perfect. The BEST price and wonderful customer service. I explained that my fridge died and they hurried and shipped it asap. I couldn't be happier. GREAT price, 10-year warranty... rebates... and it was delivered perfect. When I placed an order with Plessers the salesman told me if I upgraded the shipping I would get a larger rebate from Frigidaire so I did. It has been over 16 weeks and there is no one willing to do anything about the rebate or the delivery charge I should have never paid. I feel I was scammed into paying the delivery charge and they had no intention of me getting a rebate from the manufacturer. I thought I was getting a great deal for the appliances I purchased, but when you factor in the difference of the shipping and rebate I didn't get I feel I was scammed.

I was shopping around for deal in a oven that had great review on consumer reports. It was memorial day week sales locally. As I shopped around locally, they say that they can price match. So I searched local box stores and online sites. Plugged in what I was looking for and that's how I found Plessers.com online. They had the best deal by far. And my local box stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, RC Willey) would not price match a online store price. So I took a chance and ordered from Plessers and crossed fingers as this was my 1st large item I purchased online and was debating for awhile. But I read Plessers was in business since Abe Lincoln's days (JK, but a long time in business). The website was easy to navigate and felt more comfortable to pull the trigger.
I went to Plessers website, told them what I was looking for and had couple questions. Few hours I got response from Jennifer **, got answers to my questions, and made the purchase. They followed up with emails on the transaction and progress. I had more questions and always got a quick response. Got my order number, emailed item is shipped, I followed the tracking, got the stove at my house in a week. The stove arrived and I took the deliver and unbox in the house option for $75.00 more but would get it back in a rebate. The shippers was on time. They called me the day before to confirm the delivery day and time with 1/2 notice. The shippers called me with the 1/2 notice. They called me on the 1/2 mark said had a little traffic and will be 10 more minutes. I love that they called, they know their timing and the consumer don't and the fact they called was awesome and very undesrtandable and they showed up in 5 minutes.
The whole transaction went smooth as butter. Jennifer ** was awesome and great asset the to Plessers team, thanked her several times over. And the delivery service was top notch in my book. AAA+++ all the way around. I have already gave rave praise to our employee who's in the market for appliances and trust our opinion of who we do business with. I would not hesitate at all to shop at Plessers. No tax and free shipping, and the price was way better then any sale price locally. That's my take and I'm sticking to it.

When I decided to order this fridge online I had fears about would if it goes bad. But after this experience I'd buy again from Plessers anytime. We had some damage on the fridge doors that were not the fault of Plessers and when I called and talked to Jeneen she was very caring of the problem. Told me what she could do and how long it would take. She kept on top of it and kept me informed. She had new doors shipped to us as promised, I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Jeneen and Plessers.

I really do not want to write a negative review. Four months of repairmen, e-mails and phone calls and my patience is gone. My initial interactions with them were positive. They came recommended from a friend. The delivery of our new, fancy LG fridge was an exciting time. We saved up for and shopped around for the best deal. We looked at reviews. It all was a go for us to order from Plessers.
First, when the fridge was delivered it was beat all to **. We refused delivery. That's what Plessers' website says to do. The delivery guy's supervisor was pressuring to accept the delivery. We said it had to go back. The delivery guys from New York were pleasant and didn't complain when we made them load it back up. I got a call the next day from Plessers offering for us to wait several weeks to get a new replacement or just replace the dented and scratched doors with brand new factory replacements. Easy enough, right? WRONG!!! The single most awful decision I have made.
We have gotten the WORST LG repair guys. It is like they scoured the earth for the worst repairmen and recruited them for the LG repair crew. It is April and we ordered it right before Christmas. We STILL don't have what we paid for. I am SICK of e-mails back and forth between LG and Plessers. I am sick of repair guys in my house. I just want what I paid for. While we saved a ton of money initially, but the hassle hasn't been worth it. In fact, I think they owe me money for all the hassle I have endured. They promised us $50 for our trouble. That doesn't cover it guys.
I kid you not, we have had repairmen from 4 different shops scheduled to repair it. Some of them came out three times. We told LG that two can never come back because they were IDIOTS. One never showed up, never answered his phone and there was no way to leave a message. Even after the dents and scratches were replaced, we had an issue with our door mullion (the flappy middle part on the edge of the top French door) not closing properly. Several repairmen couldn't figure it out.
One repairman told me that I should lower my expectations. Lower my expectations? WTH! I just want what I paid for to work properly. Another winner pinched some wires when replacing one of the doors and nearly severed them. They were hanging out of the front top of the fridge. How did he not see that?? Another repair guy had to fix it. My husband took a 3 second look and easily determined that the hinge was badly bent and that was the reason the mullion wasn't closing. Yet another delivery damage that wasn't discovered early on.
Please take it from me, if you decide to live on the edge and order from Plessers, DON'T ACCEPT DAMAGED ITEMS with a promise from Plessers to repair later. Just wait for a new one. I feel like I was scammed into buying some crappy floor model that was used for forklift training. You did it Plessers. You got rid of the crappy floor model that has been sitting in your warehouse. Congratulations. I won't be tricked again. Plessers should have seen that this issue has gone on way too long and done something about it. Anything. Back to Lowe's for my next purchase.

The only timely and efficient production from Plessers was the charge to my credit card. This was the quintessential example of "Buyer Beware"!! I do not feel good about the experience from order to delivery and will never buy from this store again. The Gold Delivery rebate was a BIG MISTAKE. Even if the rebate ever happens, of which I am doubtful, it won't make up for an abysmal purchase experience. The Plessers manager didn't send the forms until two days before they were due. Miss the all important date of postmark and NO Rebate. Of course, the form couldn't be completed because I hadn't yet received the product from which the Serial Number was required. Good luck trying to communicate with NECO Alliance.
The delivery service was extremely slow and impossible to track. I did eventually get the refrigerator I ordered but long after the estimated delivery date. At this point in time, I'm not sure how much blame for the long delivery process should track back to LG and its distributor. Certainly the delivery company was less than competent but I am going to have to think twice about purchasing additional LG products. Anyway, the doors haven't fallen off the refrigerator, yet. My wife doesn't know that we may be stiffed for the Gold Delivery Rebate. And, there is a Lowe's store less than a mile from my home and if their lowest price is within $100 of what Plessers advertises and Lowe's can deliver within a month of promise--maybe buying local is the best deal.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Dealing with Eugene ** from beginning to end was easy and an absolute pleasure. I am doing a total kitchen remodel, and ordered everything from them. I spent over $10K, got free gold delivery, a 10-year warranty, no tax and prices I was unable to get anywhere else. I changed my order a few times, with no problem from Eugene. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I got my order 2 weeks after I placed it from AM trucking company, who were very communicative, and delivered my order with no problems. The delivery guys opened all the boxes for us to inspect the appliances and everything was perfect. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. Thanks Plessers and Eugene!

Disappointed with my efforts to buy refrigerator from regular store retailers. I found Plessers online. Jennifer **, who picked up my call were two, no, three heads above other stores' "experts". Based on my requirements, she suggested 3 different models to choose from, gave me a brief insight on each model, gracefully dealt with my impatience etc. She is not just any sales person, but highly professional sales consultant. Plessers' delivery team took the fridge 33 steps up to my kitchen with no damage to the walls. I will easily recommend Jennifer's service and Plessers as the store to my friends and family and to you - reader of my brief review.

I called Plessers Appliances on the last day of a sale... actually the last night. All the sales persons were busy so I left my name. A short time later Jennifer ** called me back. I needed an apartment sized refrigerator for my daughter's house. Jennifer was very knowledgeable about the choices that were available. I ordered one, which needed the door to be switched from left to right. No problem according to Jennifer. And the warranty was longer than the other company I was checking on. Jennifer is working to have the refrigerator expedited to my daughter. I am very happy with the help I have gotten and would be happy to recommend her to others.

Black Friday rush, and we found a great deal on an LG refrigerator. Jennifer helped us with every aspect of the process including getting all the paperwork for the rebates. After spending over 10K on new appliances at Plessers, Main Street, Babylon last year I decided to get a spare refrigerator for garage for extra soda, beer, etc. Went to the clearance/mattress center on Little East Neck Rd., picked a floor sample. A few days later, same model advertised at big box stores "BlackFridaySales" for lower price. Spoke to Sales. Was told they can't compete with BlackFridaySales. It was only a few dollars so I let them deliver my FLOOR SAMPLE. It came with a floor sample sticker card priced lower than what I was charged. I called and got a runaround saying somebody must have marked it down more, after my order was processed. I was told to take pictures of the inside model & s/n & sales sticker & send to them. All I got was BS about a wrong sticker. So I am now out an additional $165. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER SHOP THERE.

I recently ordered a refrigerator from Plessers. I had gone back and forth with Jennifer about the pros and cons of different models and her knowledge and patience were well appreciated. I can't yet speak to the delivery, quality of the product or any other issues as we are not at that point yet. But I can say that Jennifer takes great pride in her work and the company she works for and that is evident even over the phone. She always responded in a timely manner, even on her days off. 3 months ago, I purchased a Samsung gas range. Recently on 11-6-15, I purchased another appliance (Samsung 29 cf fridge from the Plessers.Com.) I was having a problem ordering on the website. I called Jennifer **, a sales associate at Plessers. She was very helpful in helping me complete my order. I live in Portland OR. and have no problem buying appliances online. The prices at Plessers can not be beat and the customer service is better than any store I could go to in Portland OR. I just purchased a full Viking kitchen from Plessers based on an ad from the newspaper. They were having a big Columbus day sale. I worked with Meaghan and she was super helpful in the process of choosing the models and sizes. Viking is offering a great promotion. I order a 36" gas range and got a free dishwasher. I added on a refrigerator and they threw in a matching hood. So I paid for two appliances and got two for free. I have Plessers coming over to deliver and install everything as well. I waited a long time to redo the kitchen and this was one of the best deals I could find anywhere. The sales help at Plessers was very professional and they really knew their merchandise better than most places.

Bought complete kitchen suite, Whirlpool. Had issue twice thus far in two years with microwave and oven. Service person this time caused a non-existent problem and I am being told they won't come back to fix. Plessers and their extended service company say we used our five/ten year all I want. Such B.S. BEWARE. Contract is bull. Appliances were substandard and this is downright nonsense they should be handling. Won't even give me enough to cover new appliance and cancelled the service call to fix issue they created. BUYER BEWARE.

Plessers offers a good service of purchasing, but DO NOT buy the extended warranty from them. They work with Monthly Warranty Inc. and they are not honor the warranty service. We bought a Electrolux induction cooktop (NEVER EVER buy Electrolux product again). Our Electrolux cooktop has been broken down since April 2015, 6 months ago, and the result has not been solved yet.
In the beginning, when I called our warranty provider- Monthly Warranty, they have assigned a local service provider to take care the situation. It took the service provider nearly one month figuring out the problem with the cooktop, so finally the service provider will be able to order the right part for repairing. But each week went by, I had checked with service provider closely and the parts still not showing, so I had informed the warranty company and they will just took the notes but never really did any action for me.
By the end of August. The warranty company had realized the situation has not been resolved so they made me call the manufacturer which is the Electrolux to find out about the parts. When I called the Electrolux, they told me the parts is made to order and currently is in backorder and doesn't seem the parts will be ready this year and still not guarantee will be available in near term, and I called the service provider and they confirmed the statement as well.
I informed the warranty company and requested to speak with the manager but the manager has not get back to me and they still insisted the manufacturer is responsible for the issue and seems like they just want to blame the whole thing on to the manufacture without helping the consumer for their need. In summary, below is my review for monthly warranty: 1. Does not follow up with the consumer closely, I was the one making the phone call first. 2. Should have contact the service provider and manufacturer for the consumer, instead I have to call and find the answer myself. 3. The management team is hiding behind, I understand the customer representative has not authority but the management team should deal with the consumer especially the open case has been 6 months long.

I just returned to this store after shopping last week for some appliances. Why I even left to shop around made no sense. The salesman here are polite and eager to help. Their training shows as the knowledge on the appliances was far superior than any other help we had gotten elsewhere. I ended up purchasing a full kitchen of Samsung appliances. The salesman I dealt with was Mark. If you are in the market for appliances I would stop here and not waste time shopping around. Prices were "Fantastic".

We purchased $6,765 of high-end kitchen appliances from Plessers Appliance. The microwave came broken new in the box and the trash compactor came damaged new in the box too. I understand "stuff" happens, but now almost 1 months later...the microwave has been looked at by a repair person but has not been fixed, and the trash compactor has not been looked and nothing is happening regarding resolving the issue! Communication with (Maria **) the person in charge of resolving these issues is also poor. This is simply my experience with buying from Plessers! If you chose to buy from them you better hope it works out of the box and is not damaged because their follow-up and repair service is horrible. Ooh, and pay by American Express so you have recourse if it happens to you. Good luck.

I ordered my beautiful LG refrigerator in July while it was on sale at a good price. I could have ordered it from another online site--but instead ordered from Plessers.com since they are an authorized dealer for LG. Since then, I keep getting the runaround about when my refrigerator will come in. They actually want me to cancel the order since it was at a very good price and have since gone up in price. Now, I wouldn't mind, but the other sites I was going to order on have also raised their prices. I financed the refrigerator and am making payments on something I do not have. It is now the end of August and I never hear from them and am not sure what to do. At this point, I am very dissatisfied with Plessers.com. At this point I would not recommend them.

Had a pleasant purchase and delivery experience with our new refrigerator. However, the unit had some issues. We contacted the manufacturer per the warranty instructions. After 4 repair attempts the unit finally quit working altogether. Throughout the experience we grew increasingly frustrated with the manufacturer's customer service. On a whim, I contacted Plesser's customer service to see if they could help us. ** took charge and got things done for us! She's the only reason we got a working unit as a replacement. I totally would do business with them again!

I just went into Plessers to thank them for the excellent delivery service. I just received my delivery of a Refrigerator as mine went down. I live local and thought I would try the local store. The showroom is a little small but they really pack a lot in. I ended up buying a Samsung french door fridge. The delivery was today and the crew they sent could not have been nicer. Not only did they delivery install it on time they were patient as I cleaned the floor underneath it as it wasn't touched in a while. Generally delivery guys are running out the door. Plessers has some great workers. Job well done.

I live in Florida so it seemed to be odd for me that I ordered my new LG French Door Refrigerator from Plessers, many states away when I have all the major players few minutes from my house. Their name came up during a web search. I always do my homework when I buy major appliances; check pricings, ratings, etc. Their pricing was $600 less than anybody else on the market. Went to a local Lowe's to see if they could match Plessers pricing and they were laughing at me and told me to order the refrigerator from Plessers. The price was awesome, no shipping, no tax and free 10-year warranty... All true! Got my refrigerator on time. Had a small cosmetic issue with it that LG was responsible for. Emailed Plessers and they took care of it all, fast and professionally. When I did not immediately reply to their email to me, they kept "bugging" me until I took the picture they needed so they could complete the claim for me. They went above and beyond to serve me; this kind of service is hard to find nowadays. I will be a returning client for sure!

Everything went smooth during the order process. 72-hour cool off is good. I would have been real hurt to have the product quickly as shipping time from pick up to delivery was a couple of weeks. Understandably living in the Midwest, it had to be shipped by truck. Tracking was a joke. We didn't know anything until we were called to set up a delivery time. The driver and helper did their job, no more no less, no bring the oven in the house. This was real downside of the purchase.

Excellent experience shopping at Plessers. I was a bit nervous since I live in Virginia and they were in New York. I have to say I read the reviews on them and did my home work on the appliances I wanted. The ordering process was very easy as I called and spoke to them via the telephone. The prices were cheap and no tax to Virginia seemed like a good deal. I ordered 4 appliances for the new kitchen renovation. The lead time they told me was about 3 weeks. I did get a call from the trucking company a few days ahead of time to schedule. The day of delivery came and all appliances were brought in to my house without a scratch. It was a job well done. Who knew you can order such large appliances so efficiently online. I even received a follow up call from Plessers thanking me for my purchase. Great transaction all the way!

I live local to Plessers and have been shopping here for over 25 years. It’s nice to go to a local store where they remember your name and even your purchase. I just went back to buy a TV for the holidays and the salesman immediately greeted me and then gave me space to walk around the showroom without feeling stalked. They offered me very good pricing and I am happy to say I purchased a 55 Samsung UHD TV. Having a store that is small in size but offers better pricing than the big box type stores is great. This was my first purchase from Plessers Appliance. I was sent here by my cabinet maker to purchase appliances. I worked with Mark in the showroom on a busy Saturday and he spent plenty of time with me. I selected 4 Samsung appliances and had set up for them to install everything. The cabinets were delivered last week and I set up the install for this past Saturday. Plessers install crew called me the night before and arranged a 3 hour window for the delivery. When the crew showed up they delivered, installed everything perfect and even took the time to show me how to work the appliances. The transaction was extremely easy. I was waiting for a hiccup and there wasn't any. They made it so easy for me. I had bought appliances elsewhere in the past and it seemed like a hassle. Plessers was a Pleasure to do business with. It's now almost a month since I placed an order with them. Horrible shipping timeframe. They said 5-7 business days from October 21. Today is 1 week and when I called their shipping company they will call me and might delivery 4 days from now. If Plessers wants to win repeat customers they should IMPROVE their order and shipping timeframe. So old school. They've been around for decades and yet no improvement in their logistics. I purchased a Capital range from Plessers with a full service and installation contract. After a few months of using the stove, my brand new propane tank went empty. Suspecting a leak, I called the Plessers service department and they sent out their tech a week or two later. The tech was able to fix the leak in the stove but while he was pulling the stove away from the wall he broke the propane line at the floor. He tells my wife we should "call a plumber or the gas company" and then leaves. I call a gas company and they tell me that the line broke because the stove was installed without a service coil and I will need a plumber to run a new line. This advice costs me 140 dollars, and I am still down a propane tank.
I call Plessers and they are "working with the install company". They also ask me to get a quote from a plumber which I pay for out of pocket at 90 dollars. Weeks pass, I finally have had enough and contact Plessers, and the Operations Manager agrees that I have been without a stove for too long and authorizes a fix. I schedule the service. Days later, Plessers claims that the service is not authorized because I have to use the installation company's plumber. I have a house full of relatives coming Thursday and I still have no working stove. Plessers is completely unsympathetic, and they have not reimbursed me for any expenses to date. They say if I proceed with the original work that they authorized, I will not be reimbursed. This has been the worst customer service experience of my life. Attached is a picture of what my kitchen has looked like for months. I will never buy anything from this company again.

One of the worst retail experiences of my life. Sold me a defective $2000 Fisher & Paykel fridge - that does not work at all. They shipped it without refrigerant and all of food has been ruined and I've now been without a fridge for 2 weeks. The rep, Jessica ** threatened me and my assistant saying that if I don't take down the accurate reviews, they won't send a new fridge. I recorded the calls.

Alan from Plessers took care of it immediately. We are getting a replacement on Thursday. Those guys from Plessers are very responsive. Perhaps we should have kept Plessers more in the loop - our bad! We thought the Whirlpool people were keeping the retailer in the loop.
There is a process with getting a replacement. I suppose we hit the threshold - however Alan from Plessers took care of it immediately as soon as he became aware that Whirlpool was not following through.

We purchase an appliance package from Plessers: Fridge, Freezer, Double Over, Dishwasher, High End Range, Fancy Hood, drawer style microwave - All Stainless Steel; and a high end Washer and Dryer. You figured we would be good customers. We spent probably about $15,000. The freezer they sent us is a LEMON. Do we get help from PLESSERS - NO. They tell us to contact Maytag. Maytag has been here 5 or 6 times to repair the freezer. Does (can) Plessers do anything to help up - NO. Plessers does nothing. Why do I need PLESSERS? For no service help, I should have bought everything online. PLESSERS PLEASE HELP US.

I received an e-mail from Plessers about a Weber Grill promotion on April 23, 2014. I ordered a grill (Weber Spirit, SKU 46500401) the same day because the promotion included free assembly and delivery. The grill I ordered met the price requirement for the promotion but I was still charged for delivery. I called customer service, could not get a person to speak to, so e-mailed customer service. I was told by the customer service supervisor that the promotion was only for local customers. I wrote back that there was no indication that the promotion had restrictions (not even in fine print) to no avail. Very disappointed with Plessers deceptive e-mail ads. To make it worse, it took 31 days for the grill to be delivered (arrived May 24, 2014).

Great Prices, Great Service. I purchased a high-end appliance package from Plessers at their showroom in Babylon. Their pricing was very competitive. Their sales agents were very knowledgeable. My contractors, while installing the refrigerator, damaged the door. I contacted Plessers and they not only arranged to have a replacement door shipped out to me but they arranged for it to be installed - at NO COST. The customer service agent who coordinated the door replacement stayed in constant email contact with me.

I purchased a Lynx professional grill with a grill cover in November 2013. The cover was advertised free during the promotion period. I paid the cover and Plessers gave me the rebate form to claim the free cover. After I submitted the rebate form in January 2014, I was told that the rebate form was for retailers only but not for consumers to claim free covers. I should get the free cover at checkout. I emailed Plessers, and Jeannine in customer service was quick and helpful to resolve the issue within 24 hours. Also, Plessers have very good price, and my grill was delivered in perfect condition. For the second time I have purchased a Liebherr SBS19H0 Premium plus Series refrigerator from Plessers. In the beginning of September of 2013, I purchased a Viking dishwashers from them and depending on the previous satisfaction I have purchased a high priced Liebherr refrigerator form this renowned appliance provider. I was very pleased at the quick delivery service from Plessers. This refrigerator is quite expensive but it is really worth of this cost. I saved about $350 and saved the sales tax & delivery cost. The reason for the review is after I placed the refrigerator there was a small sound in the refrigerator. I called Liebherr, the manufacturer and was told 2 weeks for the quickest repairman to take a look. I called Plessers since I purchased it there and asked for advice.
The customer service person was Brian ** whom I dealt with. He said they would step in and make a call or two for me. I was called back about an hour later and was told a servicer would be there in 2 days. The servicer showed up and fixed the machine in 10 minutes. I was very impressed with the level of their service. Most stores would have told me to wait the three weeks. I can recommend Plessers to anyone else!

We were finally doing our dream kitchen remodel and wanted to buy a new gas range and microwave. Knowing that we had 5 weeks to get these appliances during construction, I decided to order these LG items online through an approved LG online retailer (Plessers Appliances). Spent over $1600 on these two items. Follow up a week or so later with customer service to see when my items were expected to ship. Was promptly told both items were not in stock. No mention of this during the online order process like other online retailers.
2 weeks later, my microwave came in. I wanted to ship it immediately so our construction crew could install it while finishing up work on my kitchen. Was coldly told that my range was not going to be in for 3 more weeks so if I wanted to ship my microwave alone, I would need to pay for shipping (extra $100). I am sure that also was not the actual Plessers UPS cost. Without much option, I paid the shipping charge after many discussions with Plessers management. 3 weeks later, when I checked on my range, it was still not in and had no specific delivery date for me. Finally canceled my order after very little effort from Plessers to satisfy a customer. If I was LG, I would seriously reconsider Plessers as a company they would want to recommend on their website. Worst online experience ever. Maybe they should notify buyers items are not in stock before you put them through hell.

After dealing with Plessers.com, I feel dissatisfied and angry.
- it took their shipper four times to finally deliver a stove and fridge that were not completely damaged. three of those times they came at 6am, which is very early to me, and one time they came in the later morning, which meant I couldn't schedule clients during their delivery window from 8am-12pm.
- the customer service nearly never contacted me on their own when we had to resolve an issue. Even though they said they would contact me at a certain time, they didn't. I had to follow up constantly.
- After they delivered a broken stove the first time they came to pick it up a week later. This was OK. But then they delivered a new stove a week later, they delivered the exact same broken stove again that they had picked up the previous week. I believe this is the shipper's fault, but still, Plessers chooses their shipper, so it's their responsibility to resolve this.
Here is why I'm angry:
After purchasing the stove and fridge online, I learned that I would have to inspect the item immediately upon arrival to see if it is in good condition. The first time I did this with the first deliverey, I saw some minor damage on the stove, which the delivery guy told me I could address with plessers after the delivery guy had left. Upon re-inspecting the stove with my wife in the afternoon, we found that the stove was completely unusable. Inside the oven door we saw that the frame was bent with the insulation showing in the corners of the oven opening, and the oven door closing mechanism was completely bent and broken.
When I called Plessers to address the issue, they customer service rep asked me, "Why did you keep the stove upon delivery? Did you want to have a broken stove? " I thought that was rude. First of all, the delivery guy told me that I should keep the stove despite the mild damage and address the issue with the plessers customer service once he had left. Second, I had done my best to inspect the stove but just not seen the severity of the damage.
Then Plessers left me hanging for a week not wanting confirm that they would take back the stove until they had spoken with the shipper. I felt like I had done my best and it was not my fault, and therefore they should have told me immediately that they would take care of it. Instead they made it sound like it was my fault and that I might have to pay for return shipping and the high (something like 30%) restocking fee unless the shipper confirmed what I told them.
The following two delivery attempts, I was extra careful with inspecting the stove and fridge that were delivered. While I was trying to do my best to inspect the appliances, the delivery guy began to pressure me to speed up. I felt the pressure from Plessers to not miss any damage and the pressure from the delivery guys not to take too long. I felt unable to meet those expectations, which made me very uncomfortable. I'm not a professional appliance inspector! This left me feeling angry.
I believe that Plessers could resolve this by
a) training their customer service reps to not make customers feel uncomfortable when something obviously the customer's fault.

This would take a lot of pressure of me, having to find damages on the appliance in my dimly lit garage at 6am in the morning, and it would save the delivery guys time as well.
I would recommend anyone not to buy from Plessers. Until Plessers gives customers 48 hours to inspect their appliances for damage, A.J. Madison is a much better alternative.

From that point on, their service team continued to monitor my order, and provided updates before scheduling the delivery. I have purchased a Viking dishwashers from Plessers. Considering we live in Florida and they were in NY, I was very pleased at the quick delivery service. I saved about $200 and saved the sales tax. The ordering process was easy. The reason for the review is after we installed the washer, the unit was leaking from a seal at the bottom. I called Viking, the manufacturer and was told 2 weeks for the quickest repairman to take a look. I called Plessers since I purchased it there and asked for advice.
The customer service person was Jessica whom I dealt with. She said they would step in and make a call or two for me. I was called back about an hour later and was told a servicer would be there in 2 days. Now they were 2,000 miles away from me, and they set up the call like they were my next-door neighbor. The servicer showed up and fixed the machine in 10 minutes. It turns out a clamp must have shifted loose during the shipment. Not only was I happy about the machine not having a major issue, I was very impressed with the level of service. Most stores would have told me to wait the three weeks. Plessers has gained me as a loyal customer!

After shopping around for the best deal on appliances, we came across Plessers on the internet. I called and spoke to a Stephen on the phone. I had all the model numbers ready to go and gave them to him for pricing. Upon pricing the items, he noticed I had the wrong SKU number the wall oven as the handles didn't match properly. I went to three sites and no one ever mentioned this. All the other people were just order takers and didn't care about the styling. I decided to buy from Plessers.
We ended up getting a 30" double wall oven, new dishwasher and a fridge all from Electrolux. The appliances I didn't need for about 6 weeks, so I left a deposit to lock in their sale price. I received delivery and the units were delivered in tiptop shape. It's nice to see a salesman who knows their products and doesn't just sell me a box. I am impressed with the service from this establishment and will buy from him again when I am ready for my grill.

All appliances were just delivered. We ordered a range, dishwasher, micro and a new fridge. I shopped at several stores locally and decided to try online for the best price. I came across Plessers.com and saw their prices were at or below the best price I had gotten. I have never purchased such a large item online before, so I decided to call and see what the deal was. I was surprised I actually got a voice on the other end who had knowledge in appliances, not just an operator. Gene told me he has been in appliance sales for many years. He answered many questions and assured me buying online was safe and easy. He mentioned a $500 rebate coming out in the next 7 days. We wrote up the order, but he didn't enter till the rebate was valid.
Not only did the appliances arrive without an issue, I got the rebate as well. The rebate and tax savings were over $1,000.00! That is a lot of money and I was very happy I stumbled across this store. Well worth it!

This was my first major purchase online. I purchased a Weber grill from Plessers.com. The grill delivery was very quick, but when I opened the box the regulator hose was crushed. I called the store and spoke to their customer service department. I was amazed at how attentive they were as they listened to my problem. I was having a BBQ that weekend and needed the part right away. I was told that they would expedite it. I was hoping they would stand behind the product. Two days later, the part showed up and the grill works perfectly. I was very happy that my decision to buy online paid off. Not only did I save money, but I found a store who cares about a customer (a repeat one now!).

Having never ordered a large ticket item like a stove online before, I was very pleased with the order process at Plessers. Being in Upper Michigan, I was very worried about getting the stove in one piece, after having many different trucking companies moving this item before it arrived. The delivery process was messed up a little. At the first delivery, the men forgot to load the stove on the delivery truck, which meant another week. When it finally arrived in good order, one item, which was later found to have a mark on it, Jeannine in customer service took care of it right away. I had a few minor issues and the local Jenn-Air repair person was on-site when stated and repaired the problems right away. Jeannine and the other great ladies in customer service took care of every problem right away. I will order from Plessers again when I need items.

The KitchenAid range KGRS505XSS04 cooking top is so small that you cannot fit more than two small pots or pans at one time. I went to Plessers because I thought they would know more about ranges but I guess not. I told the salesperson that I like to cook a lot. She should know her product. So now, I am stuck with a range for the next twenty years that is useless. They will not do anything about it. That also goes for KitchenAid. They could careless. So angry.

I was not able to contact him after 4 attempts. Finally I spoke to the owner, who was very defensive. I would never buy from them.

I was online to look at reviews for dishwashers and came across Plessers Appliances. I originally had no intention of buying something like an appliance online, but the price and warranty was not even close to what I could get locally so I took a gamble. The experience was very good. I had looked at the model I wanted, to make sure it was what I wanted (I would always recommend this when possible) and it was received in perfect condition. Plessers also contacted me about a second rebate I was unaware of, which made me very happy. I will definitely keep them in mind for any other purchase of this type.

I went to buy a refrigerator as advertised online. They did not have the fridge in stock, so I was buying sight unseen. However, they assured me about what the finish and the interior would look like, using other models as examples. Their site advertises free shipping and no delivery charge. Not true. Then, they tried to sell me the fridge for $200 over advertised special. They did honor the price when I brought it to their attention. I was given rebate forms for $200 and assured that the rebates would still be in effect when I had the fridge delivered in April. I went to another appliance store that had the fridge in stock. It did not have the finish I was told it has. I read the rebates and realized that they would expire in 3 weeks and I would not be eligible as I was told I would be. I lost all my trust in them and cancelled the order. Their warranty policy sounded great, but I’m glad I didn’t have to find out the hard way that it also was not what they said also.

Plessers continues to provide excellent appliances for their customers. The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable and helps you plan and work within a budget. We have purchased kitchen and laundry room appliances and have been pleased. We like to shop at local merchants rather than chain stores.

Our Electrolux washer and dryer were severely damaged due to super storm Sandy. We went to Plessers and ordered new ones, which were delivered a month ago. Neither worked. The platform base for one was broken. A service representative came and fixed the washer and dryer. They still did not work. The rep came a second time. They still did not work properly. The Plesser's delivery company, Troiano, delivered and installed a new platform and indicated the washer needed to be balanced. The guys were terrific. They balanced the washer. It worked for one load. I had to call Plessers again. Again, the service man came and indicated that parts had to be ordered. The parts came. The service man came on Friday and indicated the parts were not needed. The washer worked for the one load done with him present. He left. The washer is still broken.
I contacted Electrolux National, which arranged for an independent service provider to come to diagnose the situation. They were to call between 8 and 9 today. They did not. I called Electrolux National, that returned my call to say the scheduler was delayed and my call would come after ten. The call came at 10:05 and I was told that someone would be here at 4. Electrolux National called at 3:45 wondering about the status. I informed them that no one had come. They called the service company and told me the repair person was on his way. It is now 4:32 and no one is here. I have lost a day of work and am extremely disappointed in both Plessers and Electrolux - two companies we have done business with in the past.
We purposefully chose to purchase our appliances from a south shore company as we thought they would be more understanding about the hurricane damage. Understanding? Who knew you could not return an appliance? We are now going to cancel the remaining items we ordered from Plessers and we will never purchase an Electrolux appliance ever again. This is not how we expect companies to treat their customers.

I purchased a kitchenette for a guest house we have and spent $3400. Due to the details, I had to work through a salesman on the phone. I was explicit that since I was getting a stainless countertop and backsplash, I wanted a stainless hood to match. I was told that it was a custom order and final. When he sent me the invoice to sign, there were no model numbers or finishes listed. When the order arrived, the hood was not there. I called and informed them that it didn't arrive, and again, I stated that the finish was stainless. You know where this is going. When the hood finally arrived in white, they told me I was stuck with it. I went all the way up to Liz, the manager. She said they take no responsibility for their actions! Shame on them. It was clearly their mistake! All of this over a $189 hood. They're cheap but hardly worth it. Buyer, beware. Use A.J. Madison instead.

My wife has waited for over 15 years for our dream kitchen. Well, we decided to go top end on our stove and purchased a 36" Wolf brand stove from Plessers Appliance at the cost of $5,381. We also purchased an expensive vent and duct cover for this stove. The vent was $2,000 and the 12" duct cover was $350. The stove and hood were delivered in great condition as promised. The duct cover was scratched up and needed to be re-ordered. Plessers did re-order the cover. Well, the second cover was also damaged and worse off than the first. To my dismay, the salesman seemed a bit angry that they had to yet again order a third cover. This time, he said that the duct cover would have to be inspected by the factory, store, and myself prior to me taking it home from the store.
Well, today, I took my fourth ride into Plessers. Once there, the salesman himself opened the box, took the cover out and he noticed before I did that the duct cover was again blemished with two deep scratches on the front of the cover. He said, "We will order another." Fifteen minutes later, I received a call from Liz who stated she was Plessers service manager and that I should expect small blemishes on stainless steel and that the scratches were up high and are not that noticeable! Are you kidding me?! Almost $9k in appliances and I should expect deep scratches on the face of my hood cover? She then said, "I have the choice of taking the cover in that condition or my money back." I took my money back and will never shop here again! So now I have to go find the cover on my own after all this planning and money spent.
I can't see the reasoning of why they couldn't get us a cover that wasn't damaged and refused to order another. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Shame on me for trying to give some business to a smaller merchant. Next time, I will buy from big corporate America, who will exchange or order the product to the customers’ satisfaction! Don't shop here. They don't give a ** about you after the sale!

Plessers listed a Viking Trash compactor on their web page with a rebate of $750. I placed the order and received an email confirmation that my order was processed. Later, I received a call stating that the rebate was not accurate and that the item was going back to the full price. I asked to speak with anyone from management but they would not take the call.

I ordered a stackable washer and dryer. It was delivered and the men took the machine out in the street and threw the carton into their truck, and then brought it in and left and I tipped them.
The installer came and set up the gas pipeline in the kitchen. When he got the washer/dryer ready, he said that he can't do it because it's all-electric and I don't have enough electricity to handle it. So, I asked Plessers to please send a gas type and take back the totally never used electric and they said, fine but that I have to pay the restocking fee because it's out of the box and also other charges and tax which all added up to $444.80.

They took my money in a heartbeat but didn't deliver what I paid for. The shipping company they use is rated F by the Better Business Bureau. After-sale customer service doesn't care and takes no responsibility once they get a signature. I wouldn't wish this horrific experience on my worst enemy. Beware!

We purchased a Jade 36" commercial oven, model #D RJRG3610 from Plesser's in Babylon, NY on 3/12/06 along with $5,745 worth of additional appliances. The cost of the oven alone was $5,720. Plus, we purchased extended warranties for all the appliances in the amount of $500. We spent $13,431.48 in this store. It was delivered to our home, which was a new construction, in November of 2006. We moved into the house in December of 2006.
Approximately one year later in November of 2007, I went to clean my oven and found that the lock latch was broken. Once that was fixed, I went to use the self clean feature and afterwards my oven would not work. I called the warranty company and they sent a service contractor who advised the wires on the oven had burned due to the intensity of the heat from self-cleaning. Subsequently, the igniter on the burners needed replacement.
On 1/16/09, I spoke with Liz ** in the customer service office at Plesser's regarding the issues we were having with the oven. She told me the warranty company would send a rep to see what they could do. On 2/9/09, a service contractor came to repair the broken igniters and found the screws to the burners were stripped or actually melted. The repairs continued and on 2/9/09, I drafted a certified letter to Plesser's President Marc S. Howard expressing my frustration and dissatisfaction with the oven and asking them to remedy the situation. I was then contacted by Edith ** of GE Escalations/Assurant Solutions whom I have a separate complaint filed against.
She advised me that the seller would not take area of this problem because I purchased an extended warranty on the product. To this day, we are having problems with the oven that cannot be repaired. I believe the store does not sell quality products and certainly does not stand by their products and provide any customer service. This retailer could have offered me a replacement in which we would have gladly paid the difference in the cost of a replacement with another oven manufacturer and taken in to account depreciation which is 5.3% per year. This option was never provided and in fact our complaints fell on deaf ears.

I went to Plessers to buy an air conditioner for my house on 7/25/2010. I spoke to the salesman Jim *** and purchased a GE model AEH25DL. This A/C had a sweep feature where the vents aren't across the top, but its a rectangle vent on the side that oscillates. I told him I needed that feature otherwise my dining room and living room will be cold, but my kitchen will still be hot. This feature would blow the air back and forth and reach the kitchen which is what I really needed. Jim told me besides the floor model he has two more left downstairs so its not a problem. He set up the delivery for Friday 7/30/2010. I had to take the day off from work so they could resize the hole in my wall and install the new A/C.
The installer came that morning and said he just slides out the old one and resizes the hole and then some other guys come in and take out the old unit and install the new unit. He slid out the old unit and laid it on the floor and resized the hold in my wall. Later, a truck came and two other guys took out the old unit and put the new unit in the wall and the installer did all the finishing touches. I was not watching the installer as I had other things to do in my house and he told me when he was finished.
When I looked at the A/C, I noticed it was the wrong one and did not have the sweep feature that I needed. He had installed a GE AED25DN. The installer called the store and spoke to the owner and informed him what had happened and that I was going to come there to talk to him. The installer asked me to sign the papers saying the A/C was installed so I wrote on it that they installed the wrong A/C and I did not want the one that I had. An hour later I went to the store to talk to the owner and they told me he had left. I asked for the manager and they told me that no manager was working and referred me back to the original salesman Jim. When I told Jim what had happened he immediately started telling me that the time to look at the A/C was before they changed the hole in the wall and not after.
I informed Jim that the A/C was not there to look at so I couldn't do that. Jim was not being helpful and kept saying there's nothing he could do or I should buy a fan to blow the air around. He told me that they had no more of the units left that I wanted and even the floor model is gone. He further told me that I got upgraded to a newer model and the only thing this unit doesn't have that the other unit had was the sweep feature. I told him that I specifically wanted and needed that sweep feature and that's why I got that model.
Also, how can they change my order without calling and asking me first? Again he was telling me that I should have looked at the unit before they changed the hole and installed it. When I asked him how can he blame this on me he started yelling at me saying I didn't blame this on you. When I told him that when he keeps saying I should have looked at the A/C before they installed it that's blaming it on me. He started yelling even louder saying he isn't blaming it on me. Then Jim puts his hand up towards my face in a threatening manner and said, look, you are getting upset with me and you really dont want to do that with me. He then walked away and told me to talk to management and wouldn't answer any more of my questions.
The next day I went back and spoke to the manager Charlie M. I told him everything that had happened and he didn't want to hear anything about the way Jim treated me or what he said. Charlie told me that I had purchased the floor model so they upgraded me. I informed him that I did not purchase the floor model and was told that there were two more units in stock for me and there was no problem. He said they have no more in stock and I'm going to have to deal with the one I got. I told Charlie that I did not want the one I had and wanted my money back. Charlie told me to hold on and he will try to find me one. He said he will check the warehouse and other stores and give me a call back when he finds something out. Again I asked him about Jim's actions and how he can talk to somebody that way and act like that towards a customer and he just dismissed it and said he would call me back when he finds one.
Later that evening another salesman called me to say that they had one in a warehouse that they are saving for me but they want to get their hands on it to make sure it is the right one and that the warehouse actually has it and it isn't a floor model. They scheduled delivery and installation for the following Saturday 8/7/2010 and said they would call me to confirm that the unit in the warehouse is the right one and its good. At that time I told the salesman that the following Saturday I will be home, but the block is being closed to traffic due to a block party at noon, so it had to be in the morning. I was told they will set it up for the morning and I will get a confirmation call on Friday night. On Tuesday night I called and asked for Charlie because I still hadn't gotten a call to confirm that the unit in the warehouse was the right one and not a floor model. Charlie said he thought the other salesman told me I was good and set up for Saturday morning.
Friday night I never got a call from the installers confirming any install time so on Saturday morning at 9am I called the store and asked for Charlie to see if he could confirm that I am getting the A/C and what time they are coming. I was told that Charlie was busy and he will call me back in a few minutes. Over the next several hours I called the store three times and kept getting the same message that Charlie would call me back in a few minutes. At 12:10 pm I got a call from the installer saying they would be there in about a half hour. I informed the installer that the block was closed to vehicular traffic, so he would need a hand truck to wheel the A/C down the block and that I would help him. He said he couldn't do that and had to talk to the manager and he would call me back within a half hour.
Over an hour had passed and I still hadn't heard anything so I called Plessers a fourth time to ask for Charlie and was told again that he was busy and would call me back in a few minutes. I looked at the caller ID on my phone and called back the installer. He said he spoke to Charlie and that he couldn't do it and it was going to be rescheduled and that Charlie was supposed to call me back. Finally at 1:40pm Charlie called me back and said they couldn't do it with the road closed so he is rescheduling me again. Now it is 8/14/2010 and I still don't have the A/C that I ordered and need, or my money refunded back to me. Also, I have haven't heard anything from the owner about what happened and what he will do to fix my problem, or what, if anything, was said to Jim about his actions.

We purchased an LG Stove 1-1/2 years ago. I do not use the self clean option very often as our electricity on Long Island is quite expensive. However, because I do use the oven most at the holidays, I cleaned the oven before Thanksgiving (3 months after the purchase). After the clean cycle shut off, we received the F1 code which meant there was something wrong the the control board. I was still under the Plessers warranty and a repairman came in and I had a stove for the holiday.
Well, this year, the day before Thanksgiving, I again gave the stove a good cleaning and when I got up the day before Thanksgiving, again, the dreaded F1 came on. I was beside myself knowing that I was having 14 people for dinner the next day. I called LG who was no help at all and they gave me the name of a repair shop. Then, I called Plessers who said they had no responsibility since it was now beyond the 1-year mark and I was now on the extended warranty. They gave me the number of the repair shop and told me to just give them my phone number and basically a "too bad to be you" attitude.
I called the number and was told I did not have a warranty (Plessers never registered us as having the extended warranty). They told me I had to register and transferred me. I gave all my registration information and then called back the number again. Again, I was told that I was not registered. When I told the woman that I just did register, she said that it would take between 10-14 days to be "put into the system" and then the part would have to be ordered and that would take another 1 to 2 weeks and they could do nothing for me. I then started calling around to various repair shops hoping to get someone out to my house. I was told by 5 different places that LG will not let them purchase their parts and 2 of them told me that they often received this same kind of call about LG products and that LG is the worst company to work with when it comes to their products breaking down (which is quite often).
