This is the worst paint I have ever used, customer wanted this brand and it was $75.00 a gallon. The real problem is when you start to roll it on the interior walls and it runs no matter what you do, way too watery, says “one coat” on can. Plan on at least 2-3 coats.

We purchased two 4 liter cans from one The Home Depot (THD) in Calgary. The paint went on fine with no issues. We had to buy three more containers from a different THD to finish the job. We used about half a liter from one can. Soon after applying the paint we noticed a sour milk - vomit smell. After checking the internet we noticed that we were not the first to report this problem. After returning the paint to THD and receiving a full refund with no hassle, we went to Sherwin-Williams. Thank you THD! Why isn't Behr addressing this? Low Price = Low Quality!

I have been painting for over 50 years. I find this paint; across the board, to be the absolute worst on the market. It is sold primarily thru Home Depot (THD). They (THD) continually push their suppliers for lower prices, and hence Behr takes it out in their product quality. I spent over $250 purchasing paint for a job, using new Behr paint purchased at THD. Instead of spending a little more to buy Sherwin Williams or another reputable brand, I used Behr. The poor coverage, inconsistency of coverage, streaking and overall finish was poor. I am amazed that organizations like Consumers Report don't rate it at the overall bottom - for all Behr products. I spent more than I would have with a reputable paint, and in the end, due to repainting and additional purchases, this job was a total loss. Paul **, Newport, RI

Once you open the new pour spout it’s impossible to close it and reopen for future use. We have wasted hundreds of dollars of good paint because we couldn’t reopen the can. I will never buy this paint again.

I have used Behr paint for about two decades. Recently I went to Home Depot, the exclusive supplier of Behr paint, to choose paint for a couple of projects around the house. I chose my colors and an associate asked what the projects were, and then the paint was tinted and ready. When I get home I notice that while the tint label on one can says "gallon", and the associate referred to that can using the word "gallon" that the can only contained 119 ounces, not 128 ounces (standard U.S. Gallon).

This same issue occurred with the quart cans I was also purchasing. The quarts were 29 ounces, not 32 (standard U.S. Gallon). The five gallon buckets had 4.92 gallons. This is occurring in every Home Depot store and online. Online, Home Depot has photoshopped the actual quantity printed on the can out of the product pictures. All online product information uses standard U.S. liquid measurements in both the description and the specifics. All associates refer to the various pain can sizes as quart, gallon, etc., not as 119 ounces, 29 ounces and 4.92 gallons. Customers are being actively misled regarding the quantity of paint they think they are purchasing.

I've always been a fan of Behr paints and always use them when painting the interior of my house. About seven years ago, I had the exterior of my house painted with Behr in a lovely shade of green. I counted on the quality of the paint to hold up, however, it is now clear that the areas exposed to the sun have faded to a completely different shade. It's very disappointing that I'm going to have to get my house repainted again so soon, but the differences in the shades are so obvious, my house looks like it's two different colors.

I’ve used BEHR paint for years, painting the entire interior of my home (including my kitchen cabinets!). I think there could be more variety in the colors that are offered, however, the paint quality is phenomenal. My ultimate test was when I painted over a dark blue wall with cream colored paint and it only took one coat and then a couple of touch ups!

Great product, with primer and paint mixed together you don't spend a lot of time on painting your rooms. Paint dries faster which means you get to enjoy the work you have done faster. With the beautiful colors that you have picked for your rooms.

Paint is a little more expensive than some other brands and color choices are about as what I expected to find. Quality was great. Painted walls and was nice. I would love to see a little more on the color schemes and maybe a slightly more competitive pricing.

Great variety and selection. The paint that includes primer requires a lot more than one coat. Especially on new construction. Recommend using a dedicated primer in a neutral color before using. Overall a decent generic paint for budget projects. If doing professional quality work recommend Sherwin Williams.

We have a really old house, build in 1912. It's super dusty because there's no return ducts. We have replaced all the plaster walls and slats with new insulation and drywall. I'm sooo happy we chose BEHR paint! Not only are the colors exceptionally beautiful but it only took 2 coats with no prime! I can easily wipe off my 2 year olds drawings. I don't like that glossy look, even with the matte it comes right off! I recommend this paint to anyone for any project! We've been buying BEHR for every little project. From painting the interior, deck, porch, even a dresser!

BEHR paint comes in both flat and glossy. We use it because we feel that it is the best home paint that we have used many, many times. You usually only have to use one coat and there are a variety of colors to choose from. It may cost just a bit more than other paints but "you get what you pay for". Right?

There is literally a color for every mood and taste. I also used the deck paint on my deck. The deck was worn and faded, but after using the porch and patio paint the deck looked great. I always recommend BEHR for its coverage, ease of use, and wide variety of color choices.
