    They were very professional from start to finish. From ordering our chairlift to the installation would recommend lifeway mobility 100%. We ordered for our adult daughter with cerebral palsy. They were so helpful, very knowledgeable. Jason and John were very nice and professional.

    We purchased our Lifeway Harmar Pinnacle SL300 Straight Stair Lift for our retirement home in Dec 2025 and it was completed and installed in Jan 2026. Quick turn around for sure. The Installer was a real professional and completed the installation flawlessly! He ensured we tested out our new Chair Lift after it installation and gave us insight on how to reach out for any and all service matters. We utilized our new Stair Lift everyday for the next week to give it a good break-in trail... and found it to be totally reliable.

    I have a curved electric chair in a two-story home that needed new floor covering. This company stepped up when needed to uninstall the chair for floor installation. Jamel and Alexsando arrived on time, had the courtesy of putting on shoe covers and quickly, and efficiently removed my chair so the new flooring work could begin. So professional, so clean and so tidy. I love this chair as it gives me confidence that I have access to the second floor should I get hurt as I age.

    Joshua was here today to replace the batteries after he did the installation 6+ years ago. He did an excellent job at the time of installation. Recently felt my lift was "hesitating" on the way up and then one day it stopped half way up but then continued. I called service and or course the batteries were the focal problem. Hey, it's been 6+ years. Much to surprise Joshua was the tech for the repair and I was happy about that and he was still with the company.

    Service was excellent. Courteous and friendly technician who checked out my stairlift; He adjusted, lubricated and aligned unit taking care to make sure everything worked perfectly. He looked at the batteries and suggested that they should be replaced as their date way close to their expiration. I Would recommend this company to anyone who needs the assistance of a stairlift.

    Lifeway Mobility installed a brand new "Harmar Up" lift in our home on Dec 2. Despite being brand new, it needed a series of service appointments and parts repair until it was finally workable on January 19th. That's 7 weeks. When it initially didn't work I reached out to Lifeway. I reached out 6 times over two weeks before receiving a response from the branch manager. I chose the "Harmar Up" over the Bruno model also quoted by Lifeway as it is a modular unit (not custom) and could be installed quickly. My mother (92 years old) was returning home from hospital and rehab. Her recovery was significantly impacted by the lack of a stair lift. Due to this I needed to take additional time off from work to care for her which meant thousands of dollars in lost income for my family..

    I initially asked about a return of the substandard product but was told to "wait and see" if they could fix it and if not they would "consider" a return and refund. One caveat: ALL of the service technicians, as well as Michael the service manager and Lisa the scheduler, were kind, competent, and empathetic. I can not say the same of others at the company.

Our local manager had reached out via email (per your request for that line of communication) and offered a couple of different options as solutions. One of which was replacing the carriage, which was done on 1/19/2026 as a short-term solution. Our local manager also offered a credit towards another solution if that did not work, and included her direct line in an email to discuss further at your convenience, but we've not heard back since. We're awaiting your response to determine the best next step if the carriage replacement did not solve the issue with the current stair lift. He was dismissive, spoke in a choppy and uninterested manner, and made me feel as though he did not believe me when I discussed pricing. Given that this inquiry involves a medical mobility need, I expected professionalism, patience, and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.     They did a VERY good job helping me decide which stair lift. The company explained the options and wanted to help me save money by asking if I really needed the option. The installers did a very nice job. While testing the stair lift, they found an issue with the chair itself. They told me about it and immediately corrected the problem. I had a question the next day - I contacted Harold with a question that I had. I sent him a video asking a question. He forwarded the video to Paul (general manager). Paul got back to me within 30 minutes and answered my questions.

    The appointment was suppose to be for 12:30/1:30. At 2 pm I had not heard from anyone so I called and was told he was 49 minutes away. It would have been nice to at least get a call to say they were delayed. Once he got here it took all of 15 minutes to fix it....

    We are very happy with our Lifeway Mobility stair lift. It is easy to operate ( once we got used to needing to fasten the seat belt before doing anything else, which is a good thing to learn to do) and we feel safer. Brandon, the installer, called when he was about half an hour away, and showed up on time. He competently assembled and installed the stair lift, explained its operation, and left us with a full instruction manual. We are very satisfied.

    I had searched several companies for an affordable chairlift for a family member.     Works like a dream. My sewing room is downstairs and I wasn't able to do the stairs anymore. Now I can go downstairs and sew whenever I want. I'm not longer limited to staying on the ground floor because I couldn't do the stairs anymore.

    I, like many in our circumstances, are very distrustful of most companies these days that offer services to those most in need. There are way too many horror stories online or in the news about how this elderly or disabled person was taken advantage of. Having worked in retail for the last 36 years, 28 of that in management, I am well versed and aware of how people exaggerate or plain out lie about their experiences, so, I spent a great deal of time researching the companies that sold stairlifts before I reached out to Lifeway Mobility. On all sites, Lifeway Mobility ranked in the top 4, consistently for customer service and responsiveness. There were very few negative comments or posts and the ones I did find were generally related to what I mentioned above concerning my own experience over the last 36 years.

    Anyway, I have been very pleased with my experience with Lifeway Mobility thus far. Daisy reached out after I filled out the online form and she was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Daisy scheduled their salesperson Bill to come out and give us an estimate. He arrived at the time I was told he would arrive and was very thorough in his assessment of what we were asking for and what we needed. He was not pushy and did not try to drive us into a lift with "extras" we did not need. We were sold and signed a contract for a stairlift.

    We were scheduled for installation and the installer Kevin showed up when we were told he was going to be here. He was very personable and did a great job on our installation. He spent almost 2 hours fine tuning our lift because it did not sound or feel right after the initial install. The folks at Lifeway Mobility were fantastic. Lastly, another reason, besides their great reviews and (thus far) great service, I purchased from them is because of the Bruno lifts they sell. Made in America, Wisconsin to be precise (not a political statement), Family owned, and founded by a veteran. I highly recommend Lifeway Mobility and Daisy, Bill and Kevin!

    We got two stair lifts from Lifeway Mobility. We have one chair for the first half of the flight and then a second one for the second half.     I contacted Lifeway Mobility because I had been given 36 linear feet of your product that was manufactured in 2018. I assumed I could match it (the salesperson - Cammeron, never hinted that it might be a different build) Which it was, we created the ramp that our community member needed but never could get old and new to work together. When I asked if I could return unused parts (complete sections -) I was told I would receive about 50-60 % of the value back. I understand restocking fees... but that is just criminal.     I was extremely unhappy with the result of my bathroom remodel, converting the tub to a walk in shower. First, both the salesman and the construction manager were deceptive about the time the job would take. They independently said it was a 3 day job, but it was 6 days and they had to come back after that to correct their mistakes. It was actually 3 WEEKS before the errors were corrected.     Lifeway Mobility staff successfully installed a Chairlift system on April 2nd, 2025. The chair didn't swivel properly, so technicians came on 5/1, 6/5 and on 8/10 the whole system stopped working for two days. On 8/12, a technician was able to get it working again, but the swiveling was still a problem- it took many tries to get the chair to swivel at the top. I connected with the main office, told them about my ongoing problem and they issued an "escalation", which means that they would look into the matter. I didn't hear back from them. Please know that the Union City staff and technicians have been very responsive and try to help, but there are not enough trained technicians.

We both went through health issues, with me being hospitalized several times. We decided to move to an assisted living facility and tried to cancel our contract. Lifeway refused and offered us about half our deposit. It took us a lawyer to threaten them before they finally agreed. And then it took almost a month to receive our money. They were arbitrary and difficult to work with.

    I am an active 71-year-old but last September and then again in December 2024, I fell twice down 17 carpeted stairs in my home. In the process, I shattered my shoulder, broke my hip, my femur and my ankle. It took 4 surgeries and 4 months in a rehab center to begin to get the PT I needed and begin to recover. Since I live by myself and my office and studio and storage are upstairs, I had to be able to go upstairs and back down. On return from rehab in March 2025, I immediately called Lifeway Mobility to come give me a quote for a stairlift and I was so pleasantly surprised at how affordable my lift was.

    My wife broke both of her ankles after a fall on our patio. Immediately she went from full mobility to being confined to a wheelchair in a heartbeat. I had done some quick research on options for getting wheelchair ramps installed outside. We could get around the house, but getting out the doors to the car was very difficult. Lifeway Mobility expert Jesse returned our call quickly, made a special trip out to inspect our situation and give us a recommendation and quote for 3 separate ramps.

    We had a doctor's appointment to set up surgery on Tuesday morning, and it was Friday afternoon. We asked if installation could happen that quickly. Jesse could not get the normal installers over so he installed the ramps himself on Monday afternoon. Then we realized that my wife was more comfortable if we removed the first ramp from the house to our front porch and backed over the sill.     I wish I had discovered this company earlier in my parent’s mobility journey. I cannot recommend Lifeway Mobility enough! Debbie, Andy, and Troy were all instrumental in finding the right solutions that were feasible and affordable for our situation.     I have a hard time with mobility. Going up and down the stairs was getting to be a problem. We bought a unit from Lifeway. There was a sales call and the product was presented. He said it looks good and we signed on the dotted line. They installed the unit and that was fine. They knew what they were doing.

    It's a fairly wide staircase, so when the seat and platform arms are up, there's plenty of room for someone else to pass. Even with the seat down, there's some room left. But there are a lot of times when it's hard to get it to catch. I have to jiggle the seat or hit the paddle multiple times. It wasn't that way early on. It's not even been a year and I'm having problems getting it to engage more often than not. I wouldn't consider it perfect and I would caution others that this could potentially be a problem.

    I was intending to call Lifeway at some point to get someone to figure out why it's acting like it is. But I just haven't gotten around to it. It hasn't stopped working, in which case I would have been on the phone immediately. But it is annoying. That aside, it's given me the ability to do stuff that I probably would not have been able to really do to an extent.

    We got a stairlift from Lifeway Mobility for my father. The rep who came out was fantastic and we ended up knowing him from years past. He was out on a Thursday, and then that Monday, the installers were out and installed it. It was that quick.

    The installer who came out was fantastic as well. He had a question about one of the motors on the chairs. He didn't like the output the motor was putting out, so he went and got another one instead of just installing that and then have to call him to come back if something happened. He was preemptive. It was almost a two-hour round trip for him, rush hour, having gone down there and back just to make sure that we didn't have any problems in the near future. That was remarkable.

    The cost was also very reasonable with the two straight runs. The custom, I can't understand with all the stuff, but we were able to do the two straight runs which is a lot easier. They don't have to figure out the exact bend and build it the exact way. I understand that and I’m very happy with them.

    Lifeway Mobility is a huge disappointment to me and my parents. Like a lot of companies, their focus is on making the sale and getting it installed. Their priority is not with standing behind their product or with the wellbeing of their clients. I strongly advise against dealing with them. About five months after having a pair of stairlifts installed by Lifeway in my parent's house, one of them stopped working. This separated them from their bedroom and bathrooms and put them at risk of serious injury every time they had to go up or down the stairs. I immediately informed Lifeway and was told that it would take one to three weeks to get someone out to have a look. I contacted a private contractor that showed up the same day and fixed it. Beware.

    I have an older home with two staircases in it. A few years ago, I needed a stairlift for the back staircase, which was a series of straights, and my husband could manage to transfer between the straights that were put in. However, he broke his hip and he couldn't do that anymore. The stairlift was four years old and like brand new, but unfortunately, I wasn't given much money for it when I had to have it removed. I then did my own research online, googled things and tried to figure out what I was gonna do when my husband had his compression fracture in his spine and couldn't walk on the stairs anymore.

    My husband needed a stairlift, and I found Lifeway Mobility. I got a second stairlift for the main staircase and it had to be constructed, so it took a long time to get the product. My husband could have used it right away, but he had to wait quite a few months for it. Other than that, the stairlift works very well and I'm happy because the seat’s a little higher, because he can't bend his knee. He can't sit up from a deep seat. The way it turned out, I had Lifeway leave it in a higher position and they said, “We really are not supposed to leave it up.” I said, “This will work for him.”

    It's a very nice stairlift, but unfortunately, my husband has become so weak and debilitated, he can barely transfer to the chair. Lifeway Mobility doesn't think there's anything they can do. It's my husband's health. He's 89 years old and very unstable. The stairlift rotates at the top but not at the bottom, and I wish both ends would rotate, which would help in getting my husband to transfer.

    I had a stairlift from Lifeway Mobility installed at home for my mother. The installer who came out was excellent. My mother was hesitant to get it. She didn't really want it. Now, she just loves it because she was rather limited in the use of her home. Now, she does things that she hasn't done in over a year. She's able to do her own laundry. She's able to make her bed because she can go up and down the stairs easier. It also seems very sturdy. We haven't had any problems with it since we got it in January.

    I bought a home that has stairs and I don't do stairs very well. I had thought about getting a stairlift at my old house, but they were too expensive. When I bought this house, I started looking at places that sold them. I saw the website of Lifeway and I liked it. I went to check it out. Their reps were all very nice. The salesman explained everything, each different unit that they offer and how they worked and the costs, as well. It was reasonable and it is what I needed. So, I got it. The stairlift works fine. It's smooth. I had questions though 'cause it looked like some of the bolts that they used to attach it to my stairs were coming out 'cause they are carpeted. But they came right away. They took care of it and checked it out. It runs nicely and it’s been fine ever since.

    I spotted Lifeway on the internet and they were close to our home. Lead Filter gave me an estimate as well as another local guy and then, I got Lifeway to give me one too. Although they were a little more than the local guy, I decided to go with them. The installation was fast and dealing with the installer was excellent. He got it done in under four hours.     My elderly mother moved in and I needed to get her from upstairs to downstairs.     I had broken my hip, and I did not recover well. I also am a very heavy smoker, and my lung disease was getting to the point that I couldn't do my stairs. I wanted to be able to stay in my home. So, I began to do some internet research on stairlifts. I looked at everything that was at least available in Denver. I preferred a place that had repairmen stationed here so that if it did break or do something, I could get it easily repaired. By that point, I could not do stairs. So, I would have not had access to my bedroom and my bathroom. Lifeway Mobility was very quick to respond to come out.

    I have quite a narrow stairway. I was having trouble when I wanted to donate a dresser, and it's upstairs. Unfortunately, without very strong furniture movers that could lift it up over their heads, even at the bottom, I don't have much leeway before my landing. So, the stairlift doesn't fold up quite as thin as I would like, and I have to really pay attention to how I sit in the chair, where I get my back completely against the backrest, or else my knees hit the rail. The Bruno seemed to be a much larger stairlift, and that was not something that I thought I could accommodate in my narrow stairway.

    As far as function, I'm very pleased with what I got from Lifeway. I run a rag over the wires to keep it from building up the oil or grit that comes off of them that might make it stop. So, when it stops abruptly in a place that it's not supposed to, I know I gotta get my little rag and a little bit of Pledge, and I can just reach down as I go down in the chair, and dust off those two copper wires, and then it functions very smoothly.

    Overall, the stairlift made it possible that I don't have to move to assisted living or to pay the expense of finding a one-level home in the Denver market, which is now out of my price range as I am on Social Security. I don't know that anyone would even give me a loan for a mortgage. So, this has kept me in my home. I've had it over a year now, and I love it.

    Well, my experience with Lifeway Mobility started out fine. I did my research and discovered they had very good reviews, so I decided to contact them. I told them that my mother-in-law needed a stairlift down to her basement. They wanted to make a consultation appointment, but my mother-in-law was just starting PT and didn't know when those appointments would be and might conflict with the stairlift appointment. For the next week that it took my mother-in-law to schedule her PT appointment, Lifeway Mobility kept contacting me thru email and phone messages, hounding me to make the consultation appointment. I finally was able to call them to make the appointment for a week later.

    In order for me to make the appointment, I had to take vacation time off of work, since their last appointment time was 3pm. I arrived at my mother-in-law's around 2:45pm and began the wait for the Lifeway Mobility person to arrive. By 3:20pm, the person had still not arrived or called. I tried calling my contact at Lifeway Mobility, but only got their voicemail. I waited till 3:45 and tried calling my contact again, only to get their voicemail once again. I then called their general number and spoke to someone.

    When I gave my information, they notified me that the notes on my case did not mention any appointment for that day, but it did mention that my contact person had contacted me that day about scheduling an appointment, which they had not. The person who I was talking to said that they are unable to get a hold of my contact at their company, but they would have my contact call me back, but I never received another call from them. Needless to say, I will NOT be using them and I wasted vacation time from work due to their incompetence.

    The installer, Jesse, was on time, worked very efficiently to install the stair lift. Then patiently explained the entire system to me. He did not leave my establishment until I was completely comfortable with the process. HE WAS WONDERFUL. The stairlift is much better than five stars. It is a life saver. I am blind in one eye so I have depth perception issues especially walking down stairs. So the stairlift is an absolute necessity. It runs so smoothly and quietly.

    The technician was awesome! The only reason I didn't go with five stars is I think we should be able to buy the parts directly from the manufacturer. The technician was here for maybe 15 minutes and the house call cost $35. The part was really basic and if I could have ordered the part I could have installed the part.

    At 73, some friends thought it was too early to install a stairlift. However, at 73 and living in New England, one never knows when one will slip on an icy surface. I had a couple of icy falls and another incident which nearly crippled me. I believe I could have a better chance of healing if I wasn't so exhausted carrying all my stuff up and down the stairs. I can still walk up and down but now I won't risk falling. I can put my laptop and things in a tray and send them down. I'm not as drained because this is really helping. Lifeway Mobility was quick to respond and install. Very, very pleased.

    We had a chairlift installed for my parents because they can’t get upstairs very often when they visit from Florida. We looked it up online, checked a couple of companies, and decided Lifeway was the best option.

    The installation went great. We haven’t had to call them since, and we haven’t had any issues. We’ve had it for almost two years now, and it works absolutely great. We’ve already recommended Lifeway to a couple of people. Without the chairlift, my parents wouldn’t be able to come to my house at all because they wouldn’t be able to get up the stairs.

    The chairlift is very convenient and doesn’t take up much room on the stairs, which was one of my concerns because I have grandkids and animals. It’s also easy to vacuum around.

    I decided to purchase from Lifeway Mobility because they were the most fair priced, and had an earlier ability to come in and install the chairlift. They have two different sizes: one for people under 250 pounds and one for over 250 pounds. They also told me that if I no longer needed it, it could be sold back to them, or it could be transferred to someone else. The guy who came for the installation was well dressed and very polite. He installed the chairlift within a decent amount of time, and explained what happens when the electricity goes out. Before he left, he made sure everything worked properly.

    The chairlift we got is wonderful. It goes from my basement to the first level of my house, so I don't struggle to go up anymore. I can do my laundry much easier instead of having to ask my son, who's disabled himself, to go down and do it. It has truly made my life much easier.

    I’d been searching for a chair lift for some time, and my ex-son-in-law, who I'm very close to, had purchased one from Lifeway. I had them come out a couple of years ago but couldn't manage to buy it at that particular time, and when we moved again where I really needed it, I was able to finance it through my bank. The lady that helped me with it was wonderful. She introduced me to a couple of things that I never would have thought about. I'm an amputee, we have a two-story house, and this was the reason I wanted the stairlift. I wanted the extension on the bottom that I could lift up so it wasn't always sticking out on the floor because we have grandchildren and great-grandchildren that visit and I didn't want anybody tripping and falling on it. She suggested having the rotating chair at the top, and it was great. I'm glad she did ‘cause I never would have given that a thought.

    The stairlift works great. It doesn't go too fast or too slow. My doggies even like it. I don't have to climb the stairs, go to bed every night, and climb back down. I live with my daughter and son-in-law, and we’ve turned one of the rooms upstairs into an office where I have my computer and stuff, and it's nice ‘cause I could never live in a two-story house without having a stairlift. I've had them come out and do repairs ‘cause we've had issues with it and also for the one-year checkup, and they were great. They showed me how to clean and take care of it.

    I did pursue another option before Lifeway and was very disappointed and upset with them because I was trying to get credit and they wanted me to sign for different banks and give them permission to run my credit. If it wasn't for my son-in-law telling me about Lifeway, I wouldn't have gone there.

    Great experience start to finish. The only small issue was a delay in getting my chairlift installed before my surgery. But it ended up working out OK. John was my installer and he was great!     I found different website and when I reached out, Lifeway Mobility gave the best deal out of others. Their sales rep was good and gave all the details. I purchased the straight stairlift and the installation went smoothly. My parents and my wife use it, and it's really good. It is handy and always running. It has a battery system, and requires less maintenance.

    But after installation, my kid broke one of the handle knobs and when I requested for the part, it cost $15 to $20. Lifeway said they wouldn't sell the part and they asked me to take the service, which cost me around $200. But it was just a switch which would be pulled in, then pulled up. I didn't need that service at all because I knew how to fix that. So, I went to Bruno and asked for part. But they said they don't sell it. So they recommended me to go back to the Lifeway Mobility and ask them for it. When I asked the second time, they said they would sell the product. Then, they gave me the product and everything was smooth.

    Lifeway Mobility is an excellent company. My stairlift battery died on a Sunday night, and I called their answering service that same night explaining that my stairlift wasn’t functioning. I got a call back from Lifeway the next morning at 8:15, stating that a repairman would be at my place 12:30-1:00pm. They arrived at 12:45 and fixed the problem—a battery replacement—in less than an hour, also checking over the whole system thoroughly.     I compared stairlifts to get the best one, and according to what I read, Lifeway Mobility was number one. That meant a lot. They’re made in the USA too, so if you ever needed to have them worked on, it would be faster because the parts would be in the United States. The salesperson who came was very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy. My mind was made up anyway, but I wanted to hear him out and to make sure what I heard was true. Installation didn’t take very long at all. The installer was very helpful in going over things with me. I was very pleased.

    I love my stairlift from Lifeway. I got the straight up-and-down model and it fits well in our home. It took me a little while to get the hang of the locking and going and pushing the button to go up, but I finally did. I've had six knee surgeries, so I really needed it. I'd highly recommend Lifeway. I've told friends it's the best money I've ever spent. I wish they would do the foot pad a little differently. It’s a little narrow. I have a bad leg and wish it were a bit wider. Also, on the back of the seat, when you lift it up, it's got that paper with all of the information on it. I covered it up with a picture. I thought it was tacky when it was left with all that big writing on it.

    I first learned about Lifeway Mobility while searching online for stairlift providers in my area. I chose them because they offered the best price and instilled great confidence in hiring them. Initially, the sales representative suggested one brand, but I was interested in a different one that better suited my home.     Stairlift has a bumpy ride, noisy, grinding & seat lift noisy etc... SUCKS WITH NO STOP AT MOST IMPORTANT LANDING BY THE KITCHEN. If it costs money then say so. But it sucks without having that landing... Installation was totally out of whack, very poor installation multiple holes in our wooden stairs to fix the screwed up installation... Adjustments improved for sure the original VERY BAD installATION....but still not a smooth ride, needs adjustments again but not major like before and we need landing at the kitchen, and a secure key that won't fall off the chair arm as wife can fall of the chair retrieving it.

    Please understand the people we interfaced with, in general were great, and reasonable responsive, but at times were impossible to get a hold of for days. We attempted to get a two story continuous rail system designed for my in-laws townhouse, and initial indications from everyone involved was it would be doable. They came and took photos and measurements. Initial deposit (~$13k) was made on a $22k system. Promised drawings within 1 week. After much back and forth and more than 4 weeks later the factory determined the design could not be done as a one piece system because of tight angles. We cancelled the order. It then took another 3 weeks to get the deposit refunded minus a $500 fee. Very, very frustrating process that started with so much promise. I have no concerns that they can and do install relatively straightforward systems without issue. But if you have a situation that is at all complex, just be aware.

    There were way too many problems at all levels. Poor communications internally and to me. Poor workmanship including carelessness and inept work. It started off OK. We picked our tile, both floor and shower. The advantages of a pony wall and the cabinets were outlined. Great so far. When I expressed that I did not want white toilets, I was told that the color toilets are way too expensive and all that was available was white. Sales would absolutely not discuss toilets. Sales lied to us, as I found out later that Colonial White is the same price retail as Cotton white. It is close to the color of our linen sink. Bone and Sedona Biege were listed at $60 more retail on the Toto Web site. Way to expensive was an outright lie. He also stated he had the best crew, also a lie (see below). Also, he said “Don’t worry, if we make a mistake, we do it over, no charge.” Another lie (see below).

    The information we gave Sales included there was poor insulation below to cantilever floor. We were assured that the tile would go over a well-insulated floor. We also pointed out the problems of our present shower. It was too narrow at 32 inches and we wanted an entrance of 6 feet. Sales also made a copy of our floor plan that I provided. It showed 40 inches wide which would be 36 inches with pony wall.

    During tear down it was discovered that there was no insulation under the cantilever floor. Only the open sections were going to be insulated. The rest were to be left uninsulated. What! You would do that to a customer. All the information we gave Sales did not make it to the work order. We had to get another work order done.

    After Crew 1 was done tearing out our old shower he started prep work. Not the best workmanship. He sprayed texture on an outlet (I had to clean later), cut the end off on cover plate and mounted a power box for the Bidet so the cover plate does not fit flush to the wall. His texture was nowhere close to what was in our bathroom. I brought this to the attention of the foreman. The foreman told me than when Crew 1 brings in the machine again, I’m to tell him when he has done the job right. The foreman should have Crew 1 do it right, not me. A big no-no. Also, Crew 1 refused to put an outlet at the bottom of the now exposed wall. We may need it for a heater. I now realize that I have to go into foreman mode to make sure things are done correct.

    It was discovered after the old shower was removed that an outlet now is in the middle of the wall where I want a towel rack. After arguing with Crew 1 and then the foreman to remove, both refused to remove the outlet. Yes, arguing and having the foreman telling me that I could use it as is. It was written up in a work order: Move plug from wall to side of vanity. I had to fight and argue with the foreman to get it done right. After gutting out the shower and a planter, the outlet left of the sink cabinet is now in the middle of the wall. It would be in the way of where I wanted my towel bar and might be in the way of the cabinets we were getting.

    After a struggle I received the outlet on the floor and an outlet next to the sink mounted in the side cabinet. The out in the center wall, still there. The foreman would not remove it. And yes, it is in the way of the towel rack. The towel rack is about 2 to 3 inches lower than I want. Not happy. Had Sales did his job as designer most of these problems would not have happen.

    We got a 32-inch shower pan installed. We were not informed that the shower that the foreman set up for us was going to be 32 inches wide. (I think 32 inches would be too narrow for any handicap person.) We told Sales that the present shower of 32 inches was too narrow. At contract assigning we were not shown the floor layout. Had we seen it listed at 32 inches we could have stopped it. We were never told or showed it was to be 32 inches wide!

    Later when we saw the working diagram, it showed 34 inches which was also wrong. Internally it was wrong. Sales made it clear that they take care of problems. Not so as we were told we would have to come up with 4,000 dollars for another. Had Sales passed on all the information we told him; this should not have happened. He is listed as a designer but the foreman came up with the 32 inches. He placed a pencil mark on the wall and said here is where the shower will go to. I realized later that I was not told how wide. At this point we now were clear that Sales had lost the diagram he had of our shower and all the information we gave him. During the early work Sales went on vacation. Drawing and information was not available to the foreman. Absolutely disgusted with Sales. Not happy with the foreman. What I approved was my drawing of 36 inches wide.

    We paid $ 37,500 for the bathroom. We selected brushed nickel, Lindon series. Two cheap generic grab bars were delivered. No! We should receive Lyndon grab bars. Lifeway is trying to go cheap on us. We then received the proper Lyndon bars. I should be paid to supervise these people. I am getting tired of these problems at every step.

    Tile layer arrived. Floor tile done and looks good. Shower is done and looks good but trim on short wall not centered all that well. Bathroom sink cabinets done but right door received nicks because of poor alignment by Crew 2. Door adjusted but now we have a door with 3 nicks. Counter put in place. Mirror mounted. Frame to hold mirror not mounted next to counter so there is a large gap between frame and counter. Frame also loose due to not being screwed into tall of the studs. This required gluing which does not look good. Caulk was applied to cover up the mirror frame problem. The misalignment of mirror frame was done by Crew 2. This is not poor workmanship but inept work. Very mad.

    The toilets were installed on a Friday. Both leaked around the tank. I was able to stop one by tightening the screws but no luck on the second one. I placed a can under one tank. I suggest, don’t do toilets on a Friday. Not happy. Sink counter: I should have been told how easy it is to scratch the counter. I also, wished the crew knew also. How come they did not know? The counter has lots of scratches going one direction as if the mirror was dragged across counter. Two gouges and lots of deep scrapes caused by workman using the counter as a work bench. I have a photo of a metal caulk gun on the counter. An Onyx technician was called in to polish up the counter. Many of the small scratches and the two deep gauges were taken care of. Lot of deep scratches remain. There are two swirl scratches caused by the Onyx technician. We have a new bathroom with a used counter. Not happy.

    Shower Glass: The foreman called and said that for $200 more we could have the glass coated. This was covered in Sales’s bid. Another Sales screw up. No problems until the glass tech called and said he dropped the glass. He then ordered another glass and then went on vacation. About 10 days later he informed us that the glass manufacturer lost the order in their system. For those 10 days no one was checking on the progress of our glass. Lifeway knew about the broken glass and should have been on top of us getting our glass!

    Final payment. I wrote the check and expected to receive paperwork and a receipt. Nope. I scanned in my computer the invoice and check so I would have a copy. I also requested the skylight screen be cleaned of texture overspray. The foreman was aware of this but failed to act. I also needed some info on polishing the bath counter as it was left with many scratches. I needed paperwork on the toilets so I can get a rebate from Denver water. It took way too long to receive in part because supervisor went on vacation. Received word there was an account balance of 1,975. Supervisor needed our help to fique it out. The check of $1975 was giving to Supervisor on April 19th. Check was lost by Lifeway Mobility. Supervisor and staff looked for the check but could not find it.

    Comments: If I went on vacation without having someone covering all of my customer projects and their problems, I would have been fired. It appears that one’s vacation (three) are far more important than Lifeway customers. Did I make a mistake. Yes, too much trust, that a business that does business with the handicap and seniors would look after them!

    Clean up: I had to remove small bits of dry wall from lawn. But what made me mad is someone dumped what looks to be grout next to our decorative tall grass on our yard. Not surprised at this point. My ratting of crew: Sales F Lying and losing shower diagram. Crew 1 D Poor workmanship. The foreman D Attitude and arguing. Tile layer B Placing mirror without checking on mounting. Crew 2 F Mirror frame mounting. Supervisor B Did work with us to solve some problems but one not to my liking. 1st photo: Outlet has texture spray. 2nd photo: Left and right side mirror comparisons. 3rd photo: Work crew using unprotected counter as a work bench. 4th photo: Outlet that the foreman refused to remove.

    My Bruno stairlift enables me to access my laundry that is in the basement. I'm not sure that it was installed correctly even though I am able to get it to work. At times it stops somewhere between the upstairs and the basement, but I am able to get it going to finish the trip. The seat has been crooked since it was installed (installer said he couldn't get it straight). There is a knocking sound at the top the stairs as the lift is moving up or down. Also the beeping is hard to stop once I am finished using it.

    I don't even know what to say. Weeks ago, I called this company for help with getting one of the lifts moving after exhausting the steps we knew to do. No one answered (not even the # of the worker whose card we have that helped with install). Left a voicemail. No one called, texted, emailed, storks, nothing. It's just really a shame.

    Called for service on my chairlift. Was stopping and going using the toggle switch. Eric P. Comes out to service it. Tells me I need new batteries and replaces them. He then tells me I need a new motherboard and the office will give me a quote. He then parks my chairlift at the bottom of the stairway and tells me not to use it until he returns with the motherboard. I test out the chairlifts, it works just fine but only using the remote and not the hand toggle switch. The office calls with quote of $800 - $900 for motherboard. I declined. So, the original problem was not fixed after paying over $450. You can do the math as to what's going on. Watch out for Eric P. He was hoping I would pay another $350 service call for the same issue so he could fix the toggle control - maybe.

    We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Sorry for the issues you've experienced with the lift and for the inconvenience. Our technician ran some troubleshooting on the lift with the manufacturer's tech services when he was last at your home. The manufacturer determined that the motherboard was bad and suggested it be replaced after the troubleshooting was completed, not our technician. We don't have to replace the motherboard if you would not like to, as it sounds like the lift is working fine with the remote control. There was no additional charge for the return trip, so he was not hoping for an additional service call charge. We don't charge for secondary service visits.

    We purchased our stairlift from Lifeway. After our children left home, we moved into a smaller one floor home. Eventually, we realized that our basement stairs were becoming a challenge.     My chair, installed this past Spring, is not working properly. I was sold to get this chair by your local Kansas City rep because of his claims of its superior quality. Not only am I experiencing poor quality, getting someone to service is also proving difficult. I believe I called on 10/7/24, explained my concerns to a nice young man. For reasons that make no sense to me, he couldn't schedule my service call. He took my information and told me someone would call to schedule my service call. DO YOU REALIZE I PUT THIS IN FOR A REASON AND HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO HAVE IT NOT WORKING PROPERLY?

    Workers were on time and worked until the problem was solved permanently. Were very professional and knowledgeable. Did not look to solve the problem with the first and fastest fix. Studied the issue and did everything that could cause the problem to come back. Tested the fix and make sure everything was back the way it was and the area was clean. I enjoyed the time they were here and they enjoyed interacting with our dog.
