Liebherr Refrigerator Reviews

Purchased what appeared to be an excellent product--3 high end items from Liebherr. LMF 1851 Freezer Column, LMW1800 Wine Column, LMRB3600 Fridge Column. During the Install in Nov 23 The Wine Column and Freezer were damaged and had were replaced Jan 2024. Early in Feb 24 the freezer stopped making ice and threw an audible alarm. We have had Liebherr service techs out 7-8 times and the problem continues to re-occur. At wits end as we have well over $20,000 invested and we customized the space for this particular product when we built our dream home.

Liebherr was suggested to me by a salesman at Ferguson Kitchen and Bath. Here are the cons...to clean the air filter, located at the bottom and partially behind the Bottom freezer drawer, you need to be on the floor. Great if you're young and mobile. The egg tray holder is 10 eggs even though the shelf on the door could accommodate one made for 12. The bottom shelf in the refrigerator has "wells" or slots for individual wine bottles, under the removable glass but with a wine bottle in place the door won't shut. Last but certainly not least is the ice maker poor design. If you try and lift the ice bucket out, ice falls out the back. The ice maker bucket, when full, allows ice cubes to fall into the bottom freezer drawer. Really annoying... My neighbor also has this fridge and they confirmed all my complaints.

Do not purchase a Liebherr refrigerator. We spent $13000 and had them out for service twice under warranty and three times out of warranty. The drawers break and are cheap. The replacement drawers cost $60. Worst refrigerator I've ever owned.

I ordered 2 36" Liebherr refrigerators in Nov 2023, installed in Dec 2023. The first worked instantly when plugged in. The second one, after at least 5 service calls and many hours on the phone with technicians, worked for about 3 weeks in June and now shows device failure on the screen and quit cooling again. The techs do not let me talk to a manager or supervisor that could actually get me a replacement and just keep trying the same things over. We have replaced several boards numerous times. It is incredibly frustrating when the customer spends money for a high end product and gets a lemon with no accountability from the company. Now I wish I would have gone with Sub-Zero to avoid these issues. I have 2 of those that are 30 years old and have had less problems with them.

I am using a product and found something better from others in market. Excellent product and easy to use and super cooling as per the requirement and service support is also impressive...Highly recommend....

The overly-priced refrigerator came with missing rack (wine rack) which was a part of their advertisement and inquiries led to nothing. The plastic container holding eggs was designed for 10 eggs. How does something so simple gets passed design and everyone involved and finally into the market? Finally, I ordered the part so you can interact with it using your phone. Compass which handles their parts sent the wrong item. It took a lot of calls and unpleasant conversation to return it. Have been waiting for a replacement for about two months... I give up! How can you produce a mediocre fridge, several times the price of brands which are far better and ask for another $100 for a smart device you cannot handle sending it out, even when ordered online or by calling in. I would NOT recommend this brand to anyone!

Don’t ever buy this brand. It starts with Lie. Started decent but went to total crap immediately. Shelves fall apart right away. Poor design. Then you start getting device failure warnings within the first year. YOU SHOULD NEVER BUY THIS BRAND FOR THE PRICE YOU'RE PAYING!!!! Other brands like Thermador, etc will At least run for 8 years. I didn’t make 2 years without these going to poop.

The product is poorly designed including the drawer structure and the icemaker that never worked. It is grossly overpriced. Even the slightest bump causes parts of the freezer compartment and butter door to break off. Each time we have ordered replacement parts they are enormously expensive and, like the original, very poor quality. Our original objective was to buy an excellent refridgerator that would fit in a specific space. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

We ordered several appliances from AjMadison for our kitchen renovation. The Liebherr refrigerator was delivered and upon plugging it in, it did not work. AjMadison referred us to an appliance repair company who came a week later. The tech said the brand new refrigerator needed a new compressor. A week later we were told the compressor is out of stock. We requested an exchange from AjMadison and offered to purchase an upgraded refrigerator that they had in stock. Three weeks later, AjMadison says they "sent an email to the manufacturer for authorization for exchange but haven't heard back." My family has been without a refrigerator since May 10th. AjMadison is ignoring all calls and requests to take the defective product back and give us a refund. Terrible customer service and assumes no responsibility for delivering a defective refrigerator. The other appliances (dishwasher, microwave, wine refrigerator, range) all work fine.

I have bought Liebherr refrigerator products but in just 2 months the product is not cooling and body has swelled, the serviceman are not responding properly, telling it will take 5 0r 10 days to repair. I am very disappointed and not satisfied with the Liebherr refrigerator. Very bad experience.

I have bought a Liebherr Ref. 265ltr. Tcs 2640 in Feb. 2020 . In starting it worked good but till now I have called their customer service more than three times because it was not working properly. Firstly it have problem in its defrost and then ref is not cooling. The service agents says it's manufacturing fault from company end in all refrigerator and some of its parts need to be changed then your refrigerator will work ok for long time. Within 2 years the refrigerator started showing fault. So my advice for all is that don't buy it. It's not cheap. If you are investing your money then go for some other brand like Samsung etc.

Bought a Liebherr CS1640 from Elite Appliance in 2015 with extended warranty. The Refrigerator worked well for several years. Around the end of 2019 the issue of ice build up in the freezer became a problem. It turns out this water was coming from the drain at the back of the upper refrigerator portion. The Drain was clogging with mold build up. Liebherr service recommended using a small brush and white vinegar to clean it out and it should solve the problem.

This has been an awful experience. We paid $7k for a Liebherr refrigerator and it has been an absolute nightmare. We have had nothing but problems from the start. Specifically, the ice maker has not worked from Day 1. The freezer constantly freezes over, frost everywhere, beeps incessantly has to be reset, etc. We have had 12 + service calls to date and even the 3rd party technicians say that it can’t be fixed. Liebherr refuses to do the right thing and replace or refund. It is so disappointing and frustrating. The only thing I can do is warn others. Do not spend your money on a Liebherr refrigerator. It was the only thing in stock to ship for our kitchen remodel after Covid and now I know why!!!

After buying Liebherr refrigerator within very short time (few months) problems started one after another. Frost due to improper drain, Water dripping inside the refrigerator and then the main door handle cracked. Liebherr kept replacing parts after complaints. All this happened within 8-9 months. Within warranty you will get service after that you have to keep paying after every few months. In first place, if the solutions offered were known to Liebherr why they waited for complaint. It is moral responsibility of the company to implement all the bare minimum technology upgrades should have been done before the product is sold. I regret my decision of buying Liebherr refrigerator.

I have purchased Liebherr fridge on 14th May from Vijay Sales Dombivli, but till 21st May no one came from company to give demo or fit handles after giving daily promises. Worst experience. I will never recommend anyone to buy this company's products.

Ice maker did not work from the start, replaced ice maker (3) yes 3 times, then the ice maker controller, then the motherboard over 2 year and that didn't work, then I was told, "Sorry about your luck because now after trying to fix it for 2 years your warranty has expired so you can try to fix it yourself" even though I was told that they would stand behind it to the end. It should be deemed a lemon and be replaced by a respectable business but it seems they are not one.

I have purchased 2 Liebherr fridges from Pittappillil Mavelikkara branch on last year. I am so impressed and I suggested the product to my friends and relatives. Especially they are sending their engineers for giving demo and clearly explained about the usages. Everything was coordinated by Mr. ** the Assistant Manager from Pittappillil, he was so helpful and professional to us.

Nice refrigerator. Easy to use. Having lot of spaces like So many racks. Able to keep all necessary products essential for purposes. Easy to clean. Able to adjust the temperature accordingly enough for kitchen purposes. I like it very much.

I am really satisfied with this product. The experience is fabulous and I appreciate the design they follow. The product come up with plain design but it look fantastic. I want the same brand in other home appliances too.

Very good product and special service. Interior of the fridge is very beautiful and when door open got alarm sound. I very like it and I suggest to our family and friends. Very secured covering back grills.

I had already heard about the brand Liebherr as my brother is working at Germany. When we wanted a refrigerator to our house, my brother strongly suggest me to get a liebherr refrigerator. So went in search for it and got one. Superb product, looks premium.

Liebherr refrigerator performing very well without any disturbing noise and its cooling is very good. I can easily keep items in it because of its large size its performance. And one more important thing is that it consume minimum electricity
