I had a very good experience with Kohler. The rep who did the presentation was very nice. The installers were also very good. The installation took about a day. But the guy who put the hot water heater had to come back. Overall, they did a good job. Using the walk-in bath helps my legs. I have neuropathy.

We didn't like Kohler in the beginning because we had a bad Kohler toilet at one time. But when we went into Sam's Club, their guy was standing there, asking if we wanted anything redone. My husband told him we needed a new tub. The installation was excellent. Our house is really old, almost 120 years old, and they ran into a couple of bumps, but they went through everything. My husband loves our new tub. He's not a bath person, but he's taken several baths. It's also going to be really nice for me. We're both getting older and to be able to sit in a bathtub and soak our old bones is going to be really nice. It's an awesome product. I didn't think I would love it, but I love it. We went with the higher end, and it's well worth it.

We reached out to Kohler and had the in-home discussion. Then we signed on the dotted line, and three weeks later, we had the install. My stepdaughter has recently been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease, ALS, and she loves to soak in a tub. In the months or, hopefully, years, that she is still able to get in and out of the tub, we wanted to give her some safety and give her some relief. So far, she has been loving it. She gets in it at least once a day. Some days, when she's having muscle cramps, she gets in there twice a day.

The installation team left some marks on the tub, and I thought it was dirt when they left, but it's not. It's scratches in the panel. They should have noticed the scratches when they installed. I thought it was just dirt that I couldn't wipe away. The price that you pay is way expensive for that. It's the cost of a hot tub in your bathroom. It's a bit overpriced. So, I've called Kohler and asked for a paint stick. Hopefully, I will get it. The other thing is the tub doesn't fill up as quickly as Kohler says it does, and I have good water pressure. That was a little disappointing. It takes five minutes. They said it wouldn't take that long. Other than that, it's good. I'm just looking for the safety. I was planning ahead. Also, their rep was very good and receptive. I would recommend Kohler.

I like that Kohler tub has a lifetime warranty. So far, it's been really reliable. We've had good luck with them. They're an excellent product. I would recommend it. It's pretty expensive, but for what we needed, it was good for us. We're very satisfied with everything.

I'm not very happy with my Kohler walk-in tub. The floor is slippery. I'm handicapped so to try and stand up from a sitting position on there, the floor is slippery if you've had some soap, but that's the reason you're going in there. I had to have help to stand up. Also, they don't have a grab bar on the left side. They've got a tiny one on the right side. So, if you're trying to pull yourself up, you can't do it if you need both hands. I had to have somebody come and help me get out of the tub.

Started a purchase in February 2026. Was told install for walk in tub would be April 13, 2026. Installer came to house and informed us the tub would not fit. They had the field manager come to the house. They said they would need to put a hole in the one wall and slide the tub in. We agreed. However weeks went by without contact until May 17th. Wanting to schedule in middle of June. We contacted West Shore. They are installing June 3rd. They don't have to put a hole in the wall. This went on From February to May 2926.

I’d recommend a Kohler walk-in bath. It was a good deal. Also, Kohler is a good name. Everything went smoothly. I like being able to walk in the tub. We're happy.

Kohler replaced a walk-in shower. The cost was less than the closest competitor, and Kohler got more for the money. It took them 10 hours to install. I would recommend them.

We decided to try getting a Kohler walk-in bath because of the brand name. The guy that did the design is super nice, and very responsive when we had questions. They had a little trouble when they were installing at the shower door glass. They broke it, or it broke, so we had to wait another couple of weeks to get it installed, but that was no big deal. The tub empties fast, but I wish it filled faster. We increased our water pressure, which helped a little. I'm small, so I can scrunch down in it and stay warm while it's heating. Otherwise, it takes a long time. That's the only downside I see about it. So far, we like it. I like the jets and everything.

The salesman was very interested. He was very kind and definitely into his job. But we couldn't buy it. It was too expensive.

I ran into Kohler when I was searching for a new bathroom. They installed a shower and I paid $17,000 for it. If you look at the job done completely, it was done well, and I would recommend them. The only problem is that they didn't ask me what I wanted. When they placed the shower door, they could have called me and asked where I wanted the door to be placed. The door is located in the wrong place. Instead of being on the right side, which is a free area where you can slightly open the door and get into the shower, they placed the door against the wall, which is by the entrance door, for the entrance into the room, which make no sense. You got to open the door completely in order to get in.

The gentleman that came out and talked to me explained the Kohler walk-in tub to me. I was very satisfied with them. I'm also very satisfied with the finance company to the point that it's 0% for 18 months. My first payment is going to start on April 1st. At that point, I can do it at my intervals. During the installation, it took two guys to take everything out and to get the tub in here. Different things had to be done but they did it in a day and a half. They had said it could take one to two days but it depends on how large your bathroom is and my bathroom is very small. I couldn't ask for a more informative team. They answered any of my questions and they were respectful.

She really liked the two sales folks. They weren't pushy and they let my mom make the choice. Kohler sent out the right people to do the right job and fix Mom's bathroom up really nice. I like the quality of Kohler products. Plus, it's made in the USA, custom-made. I purchased their tub, and the rep I worked with was an excellent salesman. He was a joy to deal with. The installation team was outstanding, too. They were very thorough, very methodical, and they cleaned up nicely after themselves. I have one or two little things that didn't even pertain to them, but I'm not in the best of health nowadays. When I asked them if they could do it, it took them all of five minutes on each job. It was a big help for me. I like the ease of getting into the tub. You get in it, and you close the door. The door closes easily, and I also like how fast the water goes out. It's also easy to clean. Overall, we're very satisfied with the product.

My whole house is Kohler. I wanted the brand so I went online to see if they had any walk-in tubs. The salesperson was very nice, knowledgeable and courteous. The installers were prompt and came when they said they were going to. But my contractor friend, who helped me, was very particular and didn't approve of the way the tub was installed. He had to make some changes. But the installers love the product themselves, which is nice.

I was told it wouldn't take long to fill. Wrong. After 20 minutes, it was 70% full but, out of hot water. My bad for not researching this better. Now, I must buy a bigger water heater. There goes another two grand. In addition, you can't immerse your chest making it a little difficult to wash/rinse your upper body. Sadly, there's no recourse that I'm aware of. Buyer beware.

Kohler does not deserve the good design reputation they supposedly have. The seat is too short to lay your neck on the heated area. The tub requires 65 gal of water that take 25 minutes to fill and may deplete your hot water capacity. Their local customer service/repair is terrible (No return calls). When there is no showroom or any references for a 25k item, I should have known something was rotten - one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The installation was good though.

Make sure that your water heater's capacity is sufficient. A 50 gallon tub requires at least a 40-gallon water heater. My salesmen knew that my utility closet would only fit a 30-gallon water heater. It's a great tub, but only if you are able to supply it with the necessary volume of hot water.

They did it in a day and a half and everything was done good. It was an A+ job. However, I had to call in because my tub wouldn't drain. The company that put it in is supposed to call back today.
