I have a lot of Kohler products at home and I like their reputation. We got a walk-in tub for my parents and Kohler was our best option, even though we had to wait 16 weeks for it. The rep told us, in the beginning, it would be 12 to 16 weeks. It’s made in the United States and it was just a long process. The installation took about three days because the crew ran into some supply issues. But they were on top of things. The person who did the installation was incredible and made sure everything was cleaned up properly. He kept us informed of every step when the wrong piece was given to him and he drove down to the warehouse to get the other one. They went out of their way to get this job completed. They were very friendly too.
My parents were 100 and 96. One of them passed and he only got to enjoy the walk-in tub for a couple of weeks. My parents liked the ease of getting in and out of the bathtub. That was the biggest selling point. Although they wanted very much to sit in the tub, it was much more difficult at their age. It was very nice to have something they could just walk into and sit down.

The reps have been awesome. The crew got the installation all done and they mopped and vacuumed. The only problem that I seem to have is the price.

The sales person was easy to deal with. The installers were good. They were very clean and professional. We both got back and knee problems and we have a Jacuzzi on that side, but we don't use so much. So the walk-in bath is good to have in the bedroom. It makes you feel good.

The installer was a neat and good guy. He told me what he was doing, and he said he strengthened the floor because the tub would be heavier than a regular bathtub which I had there. He made sure that the floor would hold it and did everything really nice. I like sitting in the walk-in tub and relaxing. I got a bad back, and using it helps, but I've got to use it more often than once a week. Also, I still have a drippy faucet. The installer tried his best to remedy it before he left. He spent two hours trying to get the washer to sit in so it wouldn't drip, but he couldn't get it seated right. That's the only problem I've got with it. He said he'd contact Kohler and would send somebody out to fix it, but I haven't heard anything back.

The installers cleaned up to the extent that they could. We had an issue with a lot of the dust being blown through the house and we had to get professional furniture cleaners in, but Kohler took care of that. They paid for everything. We had the walk-in bath installed to address the safety issue for my 98-year old mother-in-law. It's a much safer alternative. She needs help getting in and out of the walk-in bath, but it's all in all a better experience. It beats the regular shower, which nobody could get in with her.

The sales rep was knowledgeable about everything we needed to know, and the installers did everything correct. I didn't get anything with the jets. I just wanted a walk in bathtub. When you get older, it's harder to get up out of a tub, so I liked the walk in bathtub for the ease of using it. It serves my purpose.

The rep who came to do the presentation for Kohler Walk-In Bath was good. He really seemed to know what he was talking about and he was very helpful in helping us pick out what we wanted. I liked the shower. Installation took two days, and the guy was really nice.

My husband and I were talking about getting a walk-in tub so we called Kohler's number and got one. The sales guy was a nice young fella. He came to the house and told us all about the tub and the fact that it was American-made. They had their own crew that did just this type of work. He also told us how much the product would cost.
On the day of the installation, the crew had to take out the old shower bath stall. There was a one-piece fiberglass thing and they had to cut all that stuff out. They were as nice as they could be. We had to go somewhere and my neighbor stayed around the house in case they needed something. An installer made a video himself right there in our bathroom of how to work everything and explained everything to us. He then sent that to me and told me if I had any more questions or if I had any problems, to be sure and call. He gave me his personal cellphone number.
He had some paperwork that I needed to sign so he left them. After I looked everything over in the bathroom and it looked okay, I signed the paperwork. I took pictures of it on my phone and I sent it back to him. We had an issue with the walk-in tub blowing the fuses in the receptacles and we didn't know how to fix that. I called the installer and he was really nice. He said if we had any more issues with it after we got it fixed, we were to let him know.
My husband can't walk without a specialized boot on his foot and he has no control over his foot. We thought that this bath would be really good for his leg because of moving the water around his leg. That was why we got it. My husband likes the jets and the whirlpool. It's very comfortable for him and it's not too harsh on his legs. I would recommend Kohler. They were behind schedule trying to get everybody's stuff installed and they gave us a $500 credit because they were swamped. It took a few weeks longer than what they expected to get ours put in. They even gave us a $500 discount.

I decided a walk-in tub was the kind I needed in one of my bathrooms. Working with Kohler was beautiful. They were professional, tidy, knowledgeable, and efficient. At my age, I was unable to get into a bathtub and my only option was always a stand-up shower. I still enjoy my shower but I wanted to be able to sit and relax in a tub frequently and this walk-in tub afforded me that opportunity. I love it. When I had a couple of questions, I called Kohler and they answered immediately. They cleared up any confusion I might have had about which switch worked and how. They were just as nice as they could be. I've recommended them to my neighbors.

The sales representative was very personable and gave us all the information that we needed. The two men who did the installation were exceptional. The tub is easy and safe to get in and out of. My husband who was having difficulty getting into a regular bathtub particularly likes the fact that he can get into it. This was a very satisfactory experience. We will be using the tub frequently especially as the weather gets cooler.

Kohler is a big company as far as bathrooms that’s why we went that route. A gentleman came out to answer our questions and the fact that the product has a lifetime warranty really sold us. The installers were good and the job took two days but that was fine. We love our tub and it really helps us out. It's been wonderful.

Kohler's sales rep did a wonderful job. He had a mock-up on the van, let us get in, and showed us how the walk-in bath works. For the installation, our installer was supposed to do it in two days but sometimes you run into a little issue. And he came back, finished it the next day, and his work was excellent. Our whole family and my friends like our new tub. I use my bath seat in there because I'm a vision impaired vet and I needed that about getting in and out of my tub. And everything is in there convenient for me. At the moment, I'm going to sell the house and when I had it appraised, the lady told me that was a wonderful thing I did as far as my bathroom and the way I got it done.

Kohler is the best company. I reached out to them to get information and we set up an initial appointment. A rep came to the home, did a presentation, made measurements and developed a cost estimate. It felt good and we went ahead and signed the contract. They thought the installation would take one to two days but it was about a two-to-three-day process ‘cause some pieces were missing. But it worked well. The team was very responsive and cleaned up well afterwards. We're in love with the bathtub. It has everything.

The installers of our Kohler bathtub were very nice. They knew what they were doing. I love the Kohler bathtub. It's easy for me to get in and out of. I like every part of it. I have diabetes and I have trouble with my legs. So I have to be real careful with the jets. Right now, I'm not using the jets. But just getting in a tub makes me happy. It makes my arthritis feel good. My daughter lives with me and she loves it too.

The presentation was really good. The guy brought a simulated bathtub. Then, we had two sets of installers come in. The first guys did the plumbing and they did a really good job. But the second guys were a little bit more seasoned. The guy pointed out a few things that I needed to make changes in advance before they get everything all set up because once everything's on the wall, they can’t do that. We're happy with the walk-in tub. We got the shower with it and the length of the bathtub is perfect. Even if you're a pretty tall person, you can lay down and get your shoulders underneath. It's a really good-looking tub.

The installation went quicker than the estimated eight hours. Our home was a new build, so it was real easy for them. The most difficult part was cutting out the fiberglass tub to get it out. The lid got chipped but it was not that big of a deal. I like how the tub is built but I wish the side panels didn't have to be caulked in. It's a double receptacle behind the panel and if it ever trips and I have to go in to reset the ground-fault circuit interrupter, I have to use a razor blade to cut along the caulk seal. A better thing to do would be to have the breaker down in the breaker panel be the GFI. The duplex can just be a regular duplex receptacle. Other than that, I like the hydrotherapy part having the three speeds for the air pump. I usually use it on a medium setting. Also, the jets with the pressure that we have seem to be sufficient to get a massage in the calves. I'm real happy with it and how everything went.

I got the Kohler walk-in bath for my 84-year-old mom. I thought it would be a lot easier for her because she's got some mobility issues. But it's still a little hard for her. I'm trying to get her used to it. But I still have a hard time getting her out because there's only one bar. If you're sitting in the chair, there's a bar on the left, and then on the right, you have to reach over to hold the non-slip thing. She’s always grabbing for the door handle. It's almost like she's not tall enough. She's 5’6” but she seems to struggle to get out of it.
When she's in it, she feels like she has to hold on. They sent me some non-slip grips for on the floor, because I told them her feet were sliding and that was a part of the problem with her getting out, too. But overall, she likes to sit in it. The quality of the tub is good, too. It helps me that I don't have to put her in the shower. But I noticed the other day that the seam where they put the front part of it doesn't have a smooth edge. You can tell where it was glued together.

Everything with Kohler went very smoothly. It was timely. We had a drenching downpour the day they installed, and it was amazing how they had it coordinated with all the plumbers, electricians and installers. They did a great job. The installers were very friendly. They asked a lot of questions as far as what we wanted and whether we would prefer this or that. They were very helpful.
A day or two after we got it, my wife accidentally grabbed on to the handheld shower thing to pull herself up, and she ripped off the showerhead. We made a quick call and that very same day, one of the guys came out and put a showerhead back on and took care of it right away. So, that was very nice. Oveerall, you get quality with Kohler. I liked the fact that it was Kohler install, Kohler products, and Kohler follow-up. I was dealing with one set of people as opposed to going with another brand, but then you have installers who are other contractors. I’m dealing with one company and one group of installers.

Kohler seems to have a very good rating. The sales rep was very informative. He gave us all the details and made the selection easy to go with Kohler. The installers did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves when they were finished, and the tub looks excellent. We really enjoy the new walk-in tub. The only thing is the new walk-in tub pulls six gallons per minute of water, which I didn't know until I tested it. Our existing hot water heater couldn't handle it. So, about three-quarters of the way in, we started getting cold water. It would have been nice to know upfront whether or not the hot water heating system we had was going to be able to handle the new tub. We bought a new hot water heater and installed that this week.

Kohler fixtures are good. I looked at different walk-in tubs, and Kohler seemed to be the one that fits my needs the best. Their sales rep had pictures where I can tell what it would look like, and some of the material that she used. She answered all my questions, too. The installation was good. The guys worked together like a team. I've worked with different groups of people all my life, and I've never seen a team work together like this one did. Everybody knew what their job was, and they did it. There was no discussion about what they had to do. The tub is great. I had some hip problems and lower back problems. It works fine. The massage works great. The only thing is it could be a little bit longer, but other than that, everything's fine. I like that I don't have to step over the tub and be concerned about falling over or tripping. The seal is good. Nothing leaks.

The installation of our Kohler tub was coordinated and it went okay. The quality of our tub seems fine. We like what it does for us. Our favorite feature is the easy access to it. The grab bars and the showerhead are nice.

My contract is with USA Bath who claims they have an exclusive contract with Kohler. But they haven't kept in touch with me at all. I called them about 10 days ago for an update. The rep was very direct and also very indifferent. I couldn't understand why it's taking so long. They're now talking about maybe August installation. I was told COVID and that the parts aren't here but it's been since February, and I hadn't heard anything. I gave them $1,000, and I don't even know if I want it anymore. There's been no customer service at all. It's like they took my money and ran.

The salesperson at Kohler came to the house and told me the best product, and I bought it. He was very pleasant. The installation took a day longer than normal because one of the panels that went on the wall was damaged. So, the installers had to get another panel for the wall. Other than that, they were very professional. The tub was a whole lot more than I expected for what I thought. It was something that my wife needed. It helps her with her hip.

I liked the sales rep. He knew everything. Every question I had, he had the answer. He let us take our time about picking which color. So he was real patient with us and real good about getting our credit checked. The installers were good. They were quick and they solved everything. There was a time when the installer thought that he was going to have to get a specialist electrician because there was something he couldn't figure out that was taking him longer than what he thought. But he got it done. We were happy because we didn't want to wait another day. He was real persistent. I love my tub. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a shower. But the tub itself is awesome.

The Kohler rep was very professional and answered all my questions. The installation went pretty well. The installers cleaned up everything. I don't use the bath as much as I use the shower because it's quicker. I like the fact that it's a smaller area where I stand and I have fewer issues with falling or slipping. The shower works out well. It doesn't use that much water. As far as the tub itself, the only problem I have with it is it takes a long time to fill up. It seems my water seems to be good coming out fast, but it takes 10 minutes to fill up.

When the Kohler salesman did the sale, I told him at the time that I could not afford a whole lot payment-wise. He said, “I can get you a payment of 125.” I said, “Well, that's fine. Then I can do the job.” I'm limited on income because I’m on Social Security and I got bills to pay out of that. $1,400 doesn't go very far every month. I'm having trouble right now. I got a bill the other day in the mail and it was for a $275 a month payment. It's not 125. I'm dissatisfied with the salesman and what I was promised.
Other than that, the guys who did the job were very good. They changed everything. The guy measured everything like that and they came with all the right measurements and cut it all the way around the window in my bathroom. They did a great job. Mostly, I like the tub because it's really easy to get in and out of it. Right now, I'm having trouble because I can't adjust the water. I gotta turn the shower on and let it run for four minutes, and that’s wasting a lot of water just to get it hot enough to get in. I’ve called twice now and left a message and haven’t received a callback.

The installers did a good job. It went very well. It's a nice installation. Everything works fine. And we're enjoying it. But there may be issues with the hot water supply. You have to be careful that you have enough water supply. Right now, we're adjusting our use. We raise the temperature on the hot water and we're now diluting it with some cold water. That seems to be working to ensure that there's enough supply to actually fill the Kohler tub for someone to use it and for soaking.

The sales rep was very nice, and we enjoyed working with him. I made a couple of phone calls to him too. There were a couple of things that I had concerns about and he took care of it. We had a walk-in bath installed, and the plumbers and the electrician were excellent. They worked so quietly and just down to business. They were very helpful and answered questions if I had them. Overall, I was very happy with the whole process of it all. Kohler was very nice to work with, and things went so quickly. Everything was perfect, and I couldn't say enough good things. I really enjoy the tub as well. It’s so easy to take a bath, and I have the option of the shower. The jets are very nice too.

I’m enjoying my new tub from Kohler. I like the massage and shower features. I was a little concerned about the fit and how it would fit. It was a tight fit, but a guy came out and explained it to me and I was satisfied with what he said. When he had his son come out to put it in, it fit perfectly and everything was fine.

From what I've seen in the past with Kohler, they stand behind their product. The rep and I made some comparisons. I asked questions and he gave me some answers about the features that the Kohler tub had over the others. He went up, looked in the bathroom and did some measurements. Also, the installers are very informative. They worked very quickly. And we only had the water off for 20 minutes. Normally, people do that and the water is off for half a day. So, they coordinated with us. And I asked questions. The electricians that they had come in to put the circuits in for the jet pumps and the heater found a better way to do it and did it quickly. So, it was non-intrusive.
Generally, we take showers. But when we used to fill the tub before, we used more water. Also, our new tub has a heated backrest. Once a week, we sit in there and enjoy a good 30 minutes or so of therapy. The air jets were very good and the water jets as well. I would highly recommend Kohler. The sales, the project manager, the installation crew, everybody that was here, and the follow up after were good. They met my expectations.

The workmanship was fine. It looks good. I had the shower package installed and I like that. The wife likes the Jacuzzi and jets. Kohler backs their product. Also, you're not dealing with a third party. You're dealing with Kohler. So if there are any issues, they're gonna take care of it.

The rep looked at the bathroom to make sure that the tub would work there and it did. He spent a good amount of time with us. The installation was quick. They took out the old tub and put in the new one. They had to refigure the surround for it to make everything fit correctly. They had it in six hours. I was impressed. I like the fact that I can get in a tub and out of a tub without a problem. It's very nice. It's nice to be able to submerge in nice, warm water with all the bubbles. My husband had hip replacement so it’s better for him.

Kohler did a good job though they had a problem with somebody who came to help with the installation. I told them that I would call the police because they were getting too loud right here at the bathroom. So, they went outside and the guy who was making all the noise left. Another lady came out and helped, and everything from then on went fine. I love the new bathtub because I can get in now and sit down. I have a bad problem with my feet and legs and I can sit down and soak them. The only thing that I can't do is turn it up and down. It's got little signs on here but I'm not understanding what is what. Other than that, I’m satisfied.

The sales rep from Kohler was informative, nice, straight to the point, answered all our questions and thorough on everything. The installation team was very clean, prompt and got the installation done. The water heater didn’t work and instead of coming back and trying to rewire anything, they just came back with another water heater and installed it. It was fantastic. The guys were great. The tub helps quite a bit in my day to day. It’s a lot more comfortable at night if you have a hard day and you get into the tub and use it. I like just sitting in it with the bubbles.

The installation was great. They were able to do it in one day, and everything was cleaned up and left pristine so I have no complaints. They even went a few extra steps and did a few other things. The features are terrific on the tub. It's easy to operate. I did have one little problem the other day but I solved it myself.

They did an excellent installation and I'm very happy with the job that they did. Everybody should have a Kohler walk-in tub. I'm a permanently disabled senior citizen and the tub makes it a lot easier for me to get bathed. I'm sorry I waited till I was 60 till I got this tub. I'm very happy with it.

I like the Kohler brand. I've always had good experience with it. The sales rep that I dealt with was very helpful. The installers were very thoughtful and walked me through the process. They were helpful in explaining any decision I had to make. I like the whole thing. The jets are loud in a small bathroom, but just put earbuds in. Other than that, it's fine.

NEWPRO installed the bath. The NEWPRO salesperson came out and explained everything to us and helped us arrange at a cost that we could afford and checked for the engineers to make sure that it was fit in the space we had, because we weren't replacing a bathtub. We were replacing a shower. They were very efficient. They were done in one day, just like they said they would. They did not leave a mess. And they were very polite. I am handicapped, so I walk with a cane. Now, I can have a bath. Also, it drains quickly. I use the shower that's on the front of the tub. And it has a Jacuzzi feature, so it heals the aches and bones. I would recommend Kohler.

We decided to get the tub and the shower. They took out the old shower and put in the new one. The second day, they took out the old tub and got it ready for the tub. And they put the new one in on the next day. We only have one small thing that we had. When they put up one of the sidewalls in the shower, they took some of the paint off the ceiling. And they were supposed to come back, but they haven't. Other than that, everything went fine. They did a good job, and I was pleased with it.
We could get in it a lot easier. And this one had a nice size door, and it was a little step-in. It fills up fast and drains fast, which we love. I like that the tub has the jets, and that you can rinse yourself off. You have the jets in your back, and jets on your calves, and jets coming towards you for your feet. So it has good circulation, and you can adjust it, which I liked. We also like the rain shower feature. I had my shoulder broken, so I can soak it, which makes it feel better. The tub makes it easier to shower and take a bath. It makes the bathroom look more open. And because of the colors, they make the bathroom look brighter.

We like Kohler products. The rep was very nice and charming. I cleared out the bathroom, as per instructions. The installers came in, were very quiet and did their thing. When they finished, the guy told me to inspect it. I did, gave me some points on how to use, and they left. They did an excellent job. It was a learning experience, initially, on how best to use the height of the water in the tub, as opposed to just filling it all up. It took me three days to be able to economically clean my body with these.

The customer service was very good. The installers seemed to be good, too. They needed some kind of hookup or joint, and it wasn't readily available, so it took them a day to get it. It wasn't something that they created, but they rose to the occasion, got what they needed and made it work. We also tested out the walk-in tub without getting in. We filled it up and put all the jets on, and it seemed like it could be very effective if we used it. However, it takes so damn long to fill up. My husband is also trying to devise a way of putting a ladder there, which really defeats the whole purpose of it.
At the time we bought the Kohler walk-in tub, I was achy all over and I thought, "Well, this might be something good to cure the aches," but it doesn't hurt now. I'm just weak. By the time we got the tub in and got everything going, it didn't have much of an appeal for me, but I'm sure we will use it in the future. I know you can shower in there, but deep down we're shower people. We're in and out but not soakers, so we haven't used the walk-in tub, except when my husband used it once.

The sales rep was good but the installers were terrible. They were jackhammering the concrete and I was trying to watch TV. But they did a good job. I was gonna do a shower curtain, which I did, but it is not necessarily conducive to a point. So, I called Kohler but they never returned my call. Other than that, everything else was good.

The experience with Kohler was wonderful. The salesperson was very nice and informative. He knew a lot about the product. The installers were nice, funny and very knowledgeable. They were great and the whole thing was good. I don’t like the showerhead because it seems to spray everywhere, even when you have the shower curtain up. I may not be used to it yet because it’s very different from my other one. But the rest of the walk-in bath is fine. Since it was installed, my legs feel better.

The installation of my Kohler was good. I got a tub and a shower combined. It was done in a day. They were all courteous and professional. But they're still bringing a part to me. The handle to activate the handheld shower came off. It broke the first time I used it. The design could have been better. But I got all the spa jets and I like those.

My walk-in tub was delivered in March and left in my driveway with installation set for the next week. It was rescheduled and then cancelled due to installers' unavailability. We’ve had snow and wind and rain and hail repeatedly requiring me to go out and wrestle the loose cardboard package back around the tub. The hibernating animals are up and around now, exploring the outside and perhaps inside of the box. I have another date scheduled for this month but have no confidence that it will happen. The only good part of my experience was the initial visit from the designer who out to explain the benefits of choosing to join the Kohler family. I thought I really needed this tub but I’m not sure anymore.

Everything was good with the sales rep and I like my walk-in bath. However, I’m a bit fat, so it’s difficult for me to get into it. Another unfavored feature is where the shower is set off to the side, it hits the hardware. I'd rather that it comes out and hits my head in the middle. It also took six months for me to get the walk-in bath. I had paid the deposit and that was too long. Kohler gave me a lot of excuses, but I was out about $5,000 with nothing being done.

Check out Kohler. I can't make your decision for you, but they're worth the checkout. The sales rep was awesome. He's a good family man and I love him to death. Install day was chaotic. The installers had to tear out a big, old bathtub in order to put the new one in and it was all done in one day. Clean-up was a breeze though. They did it beautifully. I've had one bath in the tub and it was awesome. However, I was told abruptly to stop because the work has not been completed with my remodel back there and they said I could damage it. So, I said. “Okay, no problem.”

The installers were pleasant and I liked the way they worked. They were clean. I've had a lot of home remodeling in my house, so I was always looking out for it and made sure they didn't do some of the things that the other people did. They had to drill into the floor, and they were able to cut down on the dust. Also, the Kohler walk-in tub is great and I would tell someone about it. The thing is, a person would have to see the need for it and it's also a matter of if they can afford it. It's expensive and my kids were telling me as well, but I said, “Hey, I can't get out the tub. What am I supposed to do?” The tub works for me and that’s what counts.

The salespeople were great. Very informative. The installation was done a lot sooner than they thought it could be, and that was done real professionally. The installers did it in a day, and the tub works excellent. I like the jets and the ability to get into it. Overall, I'm really happy with the product. It's a lot easier to take a bath and although I'm not down a lot, when I do it, my aches go away pretty immediately.

When Randy, the rep, came out, there wasn’t any pressure. He was very knowledgeable, extremely professional, and gave us some really good suggestions. It was a 10 out of 10 and we absolutely love it. Also, the guy who was here for the install was super nice. He explained what he was doing and it was done extremely well. It was like, we walked in the bathroom and somebody flipped the switch, then there was a brand new tub in there. He had to come back the second day, but that was just for a bit. He didn’t leave any mess at all. It was ready to just walk in and take a bath. However, we need to get a new hot water heater. So there’s another 5 grand we weren’t expecting, but we love tub so much, it’s okay.
We got the plain Jane one because that’s what we could afford and the thing that I really like about it is the fact that it drains really quickly. There’s a bar to hang on to as well. We have some mobility issues, and as far as safety, Kohler did an excellent job in the design. The installer was very good at suggesting what would probably be best too. He’s like, “Do you want the soap thing here? Do you want the handrail there?” Our walk-in tub has impacted our lives a great deal. I was having anxiety and the reason why we were checking out a stepping tub is we were taking a shower and falling.

The rep had a pretty good knowledge of the product. He explained everything and how much it costs. Also, the installers were in and out one day, and their quality of work was good. The walk-in is basically a mini hot tub, and I could sit in there, relax, and have water beating on my back. We all enjoy it. The only hard thing about it is waiting for all the water to drain out so you can dry up. It doesn't take real long though. Plus, it has a shower.

The sales rep was great, and I like the walk-in tub. I stay in there for a while and I like that the water stays warm. The seat is big and when I’m using the bubbles, I use them for a massage. One time, I was in the bathtub full of water, and it just cut off. The installers didn’t put on the line that accepted it, and I couldn’t finish my bath the way I wanted. I called the people that installed the tub, and they gave me a number to call. That was the only problem I had and everything was okay once they fixed it. If I had any other problem, I’d give them a call. Overall, I love Kohler products. I always use their faucets and that’s the reason I went with them, because I never had any trouble with them breaking down like most faucets and sinks.

The sales rep was nice and knowledgeable. He worked for Kohler before, and they brought him back then he's not there anymore. But once he got the order set up, it took three months to get everything configured, then the construction company took over and ran from there. Installation was real straightforward. It took three days total, ‘cause they tore out the old tub, and they did a good job. They had to get a master electrician to come in and do some stuff with my breaker box, but other than that, it was pretty smooth. I really like the quality of the tub. It's good quality tubbing material and it's solid. I also like the fact that it's got the air bubbles, the shower head and the low-step wide entry, to name a few. I'm a big person, 6’3” and 280, and this walk-in tub is perfect for me. I'm happy so far.

I'm an industrial plumber and I put a lot of Kohler stuff. It’s a good product. We called them and got their walk-in tub. Our sales rep was a really good person and I liked him. I only wish that when he put another water heater, he had explained it more. The product was $1,000 off and since I'm a veteran, they gave me another $1,000 off for that. I found in the paper they were offering a free toilet. I brought that up to them and they gave me a free bidet toilet. The installers did a good job and I’d give them an A-plus. It's a pretty unit and my wife uses it.

We like the presentation, the decor, and the size of the tub. We also like the many effects it has and the things we needed for my husband's therapy. Everything went well with the installation. Everybody was friendly. I love the tub. It’s very relaxing. It's helped with my husband's leg. I also like the heating system and the massages in it. The tub is very convenient for us. Kohler's installers were very efficient and friendly. The tub is fine but I wish more water would go in it. It wouldn't go higher. Other than that, I got two containers to help clean the tub.

My salesperson was very nice and the installers were very good. They were here for three days. They had to travel so that took another morning. Everything’s fine. I enjoy the walk-in tub and I like its door. It now takes longer to take a bath.

Kohler is a pretty good product. My mom moved in with us and she was having some problems with the shower. So, we had to get some kind of walk-in bath that maybe she’d use. The sales agent was pretty good. It was a good experience. The installers were not very good though. They did some shoddy work, and then one of the supervisors had to come out. They made an arrangement to come back out and redo it and fix the spots that they didn't seem to quite get right. At the bottom of the wall that they shortened, there was like a half to a three-quarter inch gap. Then some of the floors didn't match up when they got done with it completely.
The guy came back out and he sent another team out and they fixed it the way it was supposed to be fixed. I like the tub. It's a little loud, but it’s in a small space. So other than that, it seems to be doing what it's supposed to be doing. It's safe and Mom's got this seat to sit down in there. I'd recommend Kohler. It's pricey, but to get mom to do more, it was worth it.

The representatives were great. Kohler has a really good franchisee and I had no trouble at all with them. Installation was great too. It took two days and it was very easy. I love the tub. I filled it up last Friday because our water was being cut off in the building. It leaked in the bottom, and yesterday, the repair people came out and replaced the door. I noticed yesterday the door seal that's on the new door is different. I filled the tub up again and it still leaks, but I figured that's just not what it's made to do. So, I'm not worrying about it anymore.

We decided that a walk-in tub would be a good move for us as an older couple to make because this would give us more time in this property than we would have without the walk-in tub. It keeps us out of private care situations. We received a sales pitch from Safe Step and later that afternoon, a Kohler guy came. The presentation was night and day different. The Kohler guy was very strong, logical, and engaging. The product was also a better one. The difference in cost was two grand, which isn't very much as these things go. We did Kohler and the installation went very well. We like the use of this walk-in tub and it's gonna be a mainstay for lots of years to come. Kohler did a good job.

There was a team of two that came for the installation of our walk-in tub and I was very impressed with them. They laid down tarps on the floor where they would be walking into the bathroom. The work took them two days. A plumber came on the second day. The installers cleaned up and they were very efficient. An electrician then came about a week later. The experience was really good.
I bought the tub for arthritis and for the jets. The draining on this walk-in tub is very fast. We need to put in a larger water heater, which we’re in the process of. The floor of the tub is very slippery but I don't want to put any sticky things on there. I'm short so that makes it a little bit different sitting on the seat and standing up when you're in the process of the water draining out. I put a little hand towel or a large washcloth on the floor after it's all drained out before I stand up and there are no problems with that.

When the Kohler guy came out and talked to us about the tub, he was real good. The guys who came and put it in were very pleasant and respectable. However, the tub is not exactly what we thought it was gonna be. We should have gotten a larger hot water heater because the water is not as hot as they say. It also takes a lot of water to fill the tub up. The seat is slippery too. Additionally, they told us that we had 18 months to pay it, but that wasn't true. If we had known, we would have gotten the shower package on it. We stand up in the shower if we don't wanna fill the tub up all the way with water. My water bill had gone up a little bit more and the tub is not as good as we thought. Also, my husband told them we were supposed to have been getting a larger toilet but we didn't get that. The guy went to the Home Depot but this was supposed to have been especially ordered when we got the tub.

The people that came in weren't messy. However, my carpet has a stain on it, and I can't figure out how to get that out. When the plumbers came in, it was something blue they used. But otherwise, the installers were very professional. They put the tarp down on the floor and I was very pleased with their work. As far as the tub itself, it's great. I'm very pleased with it. I love the jets too which are the important part.

We were very satisfied with buying the tub. The installation was very nice, and the people did a beautiful job. They didn’t tear up my house getting it in, and I was very pleased. However, I'm having a little problem with the tub now. I was very unhappy with the salesman because they should understand how the tub works and what the tub needs but he never mentioned the water heater. He kind of avoided that to get the sale. We have to get a water heater because we don't have enough hot water. We don't use the tub and it's a shame. We haven't enjoyed it. I wish the salesman would address that problem. We had the installers check it and they said we'd be alright. But that takes 75 gallons of water and we didn't even fill it up hardly but we were out of water.
If Kohler sells a lot of them like everybody says they do, then they know what the customer needs to use it satisfactorily. They could be honest about the situation instead of trying to sell the tub and let the let the homeowner worry about the rest of it. They're not cheap. You come up with the money then you have to come up with more money. Also, I'm not sure that the heater works as well as I thought it would to heat the seat in the back. We put it on high, but it doesn't seem to get very warm. But we like Jennifer and Jacqueline. They're very helpful and considerate. Jennifer is an outstanding young lady. She's taken good care of us. She always talks to us and has gotten the fellow that installs the tub, Eric, to come over in two weeks and install another hot water heater for us. That'll solve the problem then we can enjoy the tub.

The salesman did a good job. The installers came and put the Kohler step-in tub in in one day. I was really surprised. It's high quality tub. I like it a lot though it has a couple of things I don't care for. I'm used to a single handle thing and I have to adjust the hot and cold separately.

The rep, Blair, was absolutely wonderful. I have a very old home from the 1950s, so my big concern is always the plumbing and the electric. I didn't want any new surprises that show up sometimes. He looked and said, "I don't see anything. Obviously, plumbing, electric could be a problem. You may need this. And if you do, it would be an extra fee. But that's the electrician. That's not my call. The electrician will come out and take a look before we have to do any of this." He went through everything, including the financing. He answered all my questions and was very pleasant and not pushy about it at all, which I appreciated. He also showed me the video and we laughed 'cause the guy in the video couldn't tell his left from his right.
I liked the financing. The company Kohler used, I used in the past to do my windows with Andersen, and I got zero percent for a set amount of time. I didn't have to pay any of it till the day before it was due and I can pay the whole thing then if I wanted. I liked that because it enabled me to put the tub in now and enjoy it, not wait till I saved the $19,000 to put it in. When the techs arrived, I asked and they explained everything. The guy said it could take anywhere from one to three days and that they had to rip out the old tub and see what they had to work with. They do one day then come back the next and caulk everything. He said, "The caulking needs to set. You can't use it. We come back the second day and double-check everything." The techs were great. They showed me everything, then I had to wait to use the tub.
I warned the poor electrician when he came, "This is the house from hell. This is electrical wiring from the 1950s." He was like, "Oh, my God." I showed him where we had done plumbing and went around things because I'm on a slab. I have no attic and one has to be really savvy to get this house wired and plumbed. He took the time and listened to me. I said, "The last guy that went in with the plumbing went in through here, across here, and right in the wall over here." He said, "Okay, that may work, let me look over here." He thought about it before he started drilling holes.
Using it is one of those things I do at least once, if not twice, a week because once I get in, I don't want to get out. I love the heated back. I wish it was warmer, but I love the bubblers and the jets, the two different things so I can get a combination and figure out what part of my aching body needs it the most. I have recommended Kohler to lots of people. In fact, my sister-in-law didn't do the walk-in tub, but she did a walk-in shower. She had an old claw tub and needed that.

The process from sales to installation was good. The installers were very professional and worked hard. We were expecting them to have to come back, but they were able to finish it in a day. The tub is good. My husband's been using it, and the only problem is the temperature. We have a 50-gallon water tank and in the time we get the tub filled up, our hot water heater is drained. Now, we're looking into having to purchase a tankless water heater. Also, we understood that the tub had some type of heat circulation and it kept the water warm, but it doesn't appear to be that way. We went with the tub for safety reasons. It's expensive and we'll have to see if it was worth the money.

It was all good, right from the time that the salesmen came out and talked to us and went over everything with it, and then through the installers. The installers were great. They were overly friendly and made sure everything was correct and that I could fit in. They also cleaned up after themselves. You couldn't ask for a better two guys.
I'm 79 years old and I can get in the tub. Everything about it is so relaxing and comfortable, with the heat, the massage, and the water jets on your feet. But when I got in there one day and put those massaging jets on high, and I sat back in that thing for about 20 minutes, I could hardly walk the next day. It had hit my groin area so good. So that's the only that is not good for old people. It felt so good, I couldn't hardly walk the next day. There was no problem with the tub. The problem was me. But I’ve learned. Don't put it on high for 20 minutes. The tub is an excellent piece of equipment all the way around.

Kohler has always stood behind their products, and we were very impressed with that. The whole experience was nice. The team was very pleasant and businesslike. They had a small space to work with but they managed without tearing up anything so we're pleased. I love the tub. It's a neat thing. It streamlines the bathroom nicely. I filled it up and put the jets on and that was lots of fun. We use it more as a shower which works really well and it's very safe. We've showed it to everybody who comes over, and they're highly impressed. I got some of those little tab type things for the floor because my husband felt it might be a little slippery for him and these things don't even show. I'm looking down there and I can hardly tell they're there. They're just little strips that add a little extra protection.

Kohler is a good company. The installation of my walk-in tub took two days because they had to take the tub out. The crew was fantastic. My wife likes the walk-in tub. It was mainly for her so she doesn't have to get in and out of the tub. She showers in there, mainly. I went in there and used everything three times now. If you can handle the cost, the tub is pretty good.

Being a senior citizen, one of the reasons why we got a Kohler walk-in bath was because it was a safety feature for a senior, and I couldn't have asked for a better crew to install it than what we had. They were superior. However, it took three weeks for us to be able to use it because the hot water tank that they sold us was not working properly. They traded us with a new hot water tank and that did not work well, so they had the plumber come back. The plumber was here four times, and he finally made some adjustments to it, so it's now working a lot better.

They did a good presentation. It sounded like something that we needed bad. I have a disease in my feet, legs and hands, and the tub helps that. My favorite is the Jacuzzi part of the tub. The back warms up so that you're not leaning against something cold. I'm not afraid to take a bath now. I love everything about the tub. I enjoy it.

I have wanted a bathtub for five years in my new place, and I would only go with Kohler because their contractors are controlled by them and their product is good. I first started with a person that came out to the house to explain the options and the cost. I had one price range in mind. Kohler was significantly higher, but the benefits were there once you add it all up. After talking with the salesperson, I dealt with the team and then followed up with a phone call and then another phone call. If I had questions, they were very, very, extremely helpful. So I could not say enough good things about them.
The installation was wonderful. They said it would take two days. But it was more like a day and a half. The team was great. They answered my questions and let me watch. They gave me options on my handlebars on where to put it. I did not like the showerhead because it was too big. So they came out about two weeks ago and replaced it with a different one that might work better for me. I love the product itself, the team, and the follow up. I love the whole experience. I'm really, really happy that I chose Kohler. They're top-notch. You pay more for it, but you cannot get any better in quality and service.

The sales rep did a pretty good job. He answered our questions, and we didn't feel pressured, so that’s a good thing. The installers did a great job too. They came in and put a plastic tarp up so that we didn't get a lot of debris and dust in the bedroom. We were able to use the bedroom throughout the installation. We did have a couple of things that we needed them to come back and redo. We were a little picky on some things. There was a little bit of grout missing in places. But we didn't have a problem at all getting somebody out to redo anything. I like the jets of the tub. I also like the fact that it's got the heater. So I turn on the seat heater and let that heat a little bit before I get in, so I haven't had to get into an ice-cold tub. The shower is taking a little bit of getting used to. But so far, I don't have water all over the place. I'm able to keep the shower directed. It's low enough. So that's worked out as well.

I love my Kohler bathtub. I've been very happy with it. It has this heated back. I didn’t see that feature offered on those other ones. Then, when the Kohler salesman came out, he was so nice. He was very lowkey and he showed me what was what. He was very good about explaining everything to me and telling me not to be startled by that air that comes on after the tub is done, which has something to do with the whirlpool jets. The installation was very nicely done too. I was telling the rep I needed to get it done in time for my knee surgery. I could do a good pre-op scrub safely. I really love going up there and soaking away. It’s really wonderful. It was a very good purchase.

The Kohler salesman took a long time here the first time and answered a lot of our questions. He was patient and seemed to understand what we were looking for. I was a little surprised that Kohler only sent out one man to do the physical work of carrying the tub and putting it in. And that man had to be here all day because he had to clear out our bathroom. He did all the right things and put things on the floor. He also had to carry everything in and out all day by himself and that's a heavy tub. I thought that was not very good. He should have had an assistant to help him and it might have gone a little quicker, too.
I absolutely love that I can, first off and foremost, get in and out of the shower or bath without any help and without worrying. I'm someone who's had a fall. I really like it. I like having the size and plenty of places to grab. Once every week, I go in for a long soak with the Jacuzzis on and it's really nice. It’s definitely increased my ability to get into the shower itself and not have to do sink baths. It's made it easier for me.

The salesperson with Kohler, Jared, was excellent. He explained everything in detail. But I'm very disappointed with the two contractors they sent. They were doing sloppy, messy work. They didn't care. They did halfway work by leaving wires in our attic and on top of the AC insulation. They let stuff loose even in the basement. They weren't professional. I had a little plastic container where I keep my bath products in. One of them had dumped the stuff I had in there in my sink, and they used it to put trash in it.
One of them kept telling us he didn't speak English. My husband kept complaining, trying to talk to him. At the end, he started speaking English and it was not a problem. I did not like that. I had told Jared I didn't trust them to come back, 'cause next day, they were supposed to come back. Jared got two more other people to come to finish up everything in the next two days after that and they did a great job. Overall, Kohler is excellent. I love them and I recommend them. However, you got to pay attention to who they hire for their contractors.

The installation team was terrific. They told me it would probably take two days because they had to take out the old tub and I also had them put in some wainscotting on the wall so they had to take the tile off the walls in the whole room. But they did an amazing job of getting the tub in and making sure that the house was protected. They put down pads.
I love the whirlpool jets. That's amazing. I love the heated seat too. When the installer finished, he suggested that I turn the heat on 10 or 15 minutes before I get in. It's already warm when I sit down which is perfect. The tub's a very good value. Considering the safety feature and all the health benefits, it's well worth the money. I have had several accidents where I was getting out of the tub and slipped and fell. One time, I broke a toe. Kohler's low step in is perfect. I don't feel like I'm going to fall or trip or slide anywhere. I have a lot of retired friends and I've told them they have got to get one of these because it’s so much safer than a regular tub or shower.

I called other companies and several of them said they couldn't do second floors. Kohler said they could do it and the product looked fairly decent. The mechanics were excellent and the finished product is well done. This is my second walk-in bath and it's a stronger unit. It looks nicer, too. I also like the drain system better on this. Instead of a plug, this has a lever. I move the lever. The other ones had a chain and a rubber plug and every once in a while, the two would separate. Getting permits had been a little sloppy though. I should have had copies of the permits but I never had the copy till recently.

The installers got everything taken care of in less time that they had planned and cleaned up after themselves. The tub is a good-made product. We've enjoyed it. It’s comfortable. The presentation was very nice and informative. The installation was great. I had one problem with the handle but they've already come and fixed it. My husband can now get in and out of the tub by himself without me having to help him.

The installation went good and I enjoy the tub. I like the jets and the heat for my back. I can now move around and move some more of my joints better. I also like the independence of being able to bathe without having somebody help me in and out of the tub.

I like Kohler. They told me everything I needed to know and how much it was. They kept me abreast of everything that was going on, showed me what was happening and what they were doing. The tub has made it much easier for me because I always had to have somebody with me in a regular shower, and now, I don't. I like the shower attachment to it and the massage jets.

We looked at several different companies and Kholer seemed to have what we wanted more than the others. We wanted the shower included in the tub. I have a bad back and I was really interested in the heating element that came with the Kohler one. That was a big plus. Our sales person was very knowledgeable, explained everything to us, and answered all our questions. It was a very positive experience.
The two gentlemen did the installation and that took two days. It was really cold but they came. They were very nice and very thorough. They cleaned up so beautifully and everything after they left, was just spotless. It was wonderful. They also explained every step. The heated back just totally relaxes me and I love it. My husband likes it too. He's not a bath person but he has taken a couple, especially when he's had a couple of rough days. Our walk-in tub also has a whirlpool and a shower. There is the ease of getting in and out. It looks beautiful in my bathroom. I'm so glad I did this. It will probably make it easier for me to stay in this home for longer.

The rep was very professional and there was no pressure. The installers gave me a 30-minute window and arrived at the very beginning of the 30 minutes. They were tidy, efficient, and explained what was going to happen. They finished the installation and it was excellent work. We like the product. It's got the heated seat, personal shower and two jet controls. The jets are adjustable. You can slow down the jet process or increase it, then you can adjust the angle of it.

Kohler has always been a quality product. There was no reason to go for something that we didn't have confidence in. We had the young man come out and presented the information and showed us in our bathroom how things would change. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of getting materials across the country, it took a little longer than was expected. It wasn't an urgent situation, so that didn't really bother us. The people who came and installed it were excellent. We're very happy with the whole experience. We like the tub a lot. It's very good. I've used it several times myself. It's very comforting. It's a whole lot easier than trying to get in and out of tubs.

The installation process of my Kohler tub went well. The installers were polite and efficient. It's just that billing is horrendous. I'm supposed to have interest-free for a year. I'm getting billing with $500 monthly interest. I'm not planning to pay it, but that is a source of real discontent. I talked to the agent who sold me the product and he said it's supposed to be at least for a year. As far as the tub, it's comfortable and I like being able to step into it.

It took a long time to get the Kohler. They told me that I could get it in six weeks but it took six months. The installation was fine but it was a time process. The Kohler is also pricier than American Standard but the lifetime guarantee, hopefully, will mean something. I have issues picking my feet up due to medical reasons and we felt that the tub has the lowest to get in so it fits my needs.

The installers were really good. They did the installation in less than a day. The only thing I don't like about the tub is that it’s supposed to be a special tub but we didn’t get anything special on it. It's just a plain tub. But the seat really needed to be lower and the sides need to be higher. Because if you put the water up far enough to your waist, it’s gonna slosh out the side.

The installation team did a good job explaining things. However, I'm still confused on one of the features and I haven't tested it out because reading the manual, it doesn't seem to work like the salesperson told me it was going to. There are foot jets and jets for the lower back. I asked, “Can I sit in there, fill it up and use a foot jet?” I’m a diabetic and I'm supposed to soak my feet every day. I was told yes. After it was installed and I read my manual, it says I cannot. I have to fill up four inches higher than the highest jet, which is at the low back. The onboard heater was another question. It was explained as I can fill it up, turn the onboard heater on then my water won't get cold while I'm sitting in it. But when I read the manual, I get the impression that the onboard heater is like a heating pad for the back that doesn't keep the water warm. The tub is very expensive to be something that I now cannot use every day because of those two things.

Kohler makes quality products and they've been around for centuries. They have good installation and it's all American made. They took a couple days to get the installation done but that's understandable when they got to take everything out and put a new one back in. The tub is very attractive looking. I agonized over removing something that was nice looking and still operable, but I couldn't use it because of my disability. I went ahead and contacted Kohler, and tore out the good and put in the better.

The sales rep answered all our questions and presented everything well. There was no pressure, and everything was great. The installers were really good too. They came in, covered all the floors with tarps, put plastic sheeting over the areas of the bathroom they weren't going to be working and used Shop-Vac that kept all the dust down to a minimum. They were very respectful, clean, neat and did excellent quality work. We've got no complaints at all in that. It was everything we hoped for and more. The Kohler tub made it a lot easier and safer for us, and we like everything about it, including the hydrotherapy, the heated seats, and the quick fill and drain.

The sales guy came, talked to us and gave us a price. We accepted and then the installers came relatively quickly. They put in the tub in two days. It was great. I had a very positive experience with the rep. The techs who installed were great. They introduced themselves and laid down floor protection. They told us what they were going to do and went about their business. They didn't take any breaks and just went to town. Also, they were very careful with our possessions. They even took things off of the walls to make sure they wouldn't fall off. They were very nice. We have two dogs and they were great with them.
Our Kohler has the jets, heated seat and heated back. We also have a handheld shower. We like the ease of using it and the relaxation. I feel very safe with it. It has made our life very comfortable and it has been a stress reliever during this COVID period.

I’m not sure that I’m happy with the installation and I’m also not happy with the non-ability to look at the product before we bought it. That door is not tall enough, and it scrapes the top of your butt. I’m not as happy with the product as I could have been. It doesn’t work as well as you would hope. But it's a nice-looking clean tub and has all the bells and whistles.

I liked the salesman who came out. He was very nice and answered any questions we had. He had the brochures and showed us what it would look like. The installation day was perfect. The guys were super from the moment they walked in the door. They put my mind at ease and did a good job of putting the tub in. It looked nice when it was done. I love the tub so much. I broke my leg two times. A lot of it is metal and it gets stiff all the time. I go in that tub, turn those bubbles on, and it feels so good. However, I got stuck in the tub the second week we had it. When I was done, I went to pull up the handle to get the drain open, and it wouldn't open. I was sitting down there and holding the drain up so the water would go out. I should have sat on the seat before it was all gone. My legs were stuck. We put water back in the tub up to where the seat was so I could get up.
I usually take a bath every other day and it worked. About the third time after that, it wouldn’t open again. I played a little bit with the handle, and it was loose to open and shut. I went down and held the drain open again. The next day, I called Kohler. They sent somebody out the same day. It was Carrie, a really nice guy. He came in and said that some of the stuff needs to be tightened. He was here an hour or two and tightened everything. Then I took a bath that night, it worked fine. I took a bath two days later, and it worked fine too. My husband soaked in the tub one of those days, and it worked fine as well. A week later, the drain wouldn't open again. My husband was getting angry. He told me for $21,000, it should work better than that.
I called Kohler and told them it happened again. Carrie called me 10 minutes later after I got off the phone with this gal. He told me he was gonna look into it and and would get back to me. He got back to me about a half hour later. Some people never call you back but Kohler is wonderful with their customer service. I didn't have to argue with anybody. Carrie told me they were going to replace the tub. We had the original tub put in January 10th and 11th of this year. The seats started having hairline cracks. There were four of them, and they were spidering out. Carrie and Rick came this morning, and they brought a new tub. Now, they’re installing it.

The rep knew all about the tub, had all kinds of samples and gave us a thorough introduction to the product. We were impressed with him. The installation was meant to be 4 days but they wrapped that up in a day. They were so professional and I had never seen people work like that together. However, the handle broke off door, so my mother misses the tub since she can't use it. She has rheumatoid arthritis and it helped her so much. She absolutely loves the tub. It's so safe.

My husband who's a builder and always so critical of everyone thought they were good during the installation. The tub is very pretty in my bathroom. My daughter was hurting so bad she could hardly walk. She got in my tub and said she felt feel better and her feet didn't hurt. The installation team was unbelievable. They would always call before they came, whether they'll be there in 20 minutes or running late. They did an excellent job too. Everybody pulled together. In fact, my wife was going to be released from the hospital on a Monday, and the tub was running behind, with all the deliveries and the way the world's running today. On Friday, the lady called up and said, "Oh, your tub is all together now and in. We're ready for installation." It was perfect. She said, "I can put it in next Monday." I said, "Oh my God. What a surprise this will be for my wife."
I noticed that the shower handle is on a flexible cord, but the thing that's mounted on the wall doesn't stick out very far. I never got to try it to see for myself, but it looks like if you put it in and turn it on there would be water all over the place. Other than that, the Kohler walk-in tub is beautiful, and if your knees hurt, just put the jets on. I feel like a retired football player. I was stymied a little with the prices, but it was well worth it.
The tub looks like it came with the house. The tile in that bathroom was over 50 years old and we're never gonna be able to replace it. It's also an unusual bathroom because it was a lavender tub, and the tiles are white and lavender with some flowers here and there in a couple of the pieces. Everybody said, "What a beautiful bathroom." I said, "Don't tell me I'm gonna lose all my tile," but we didn't lose a piece.

The sales rep was fine. There was a little screw-up in the beginning only because we were waiting for the house we were selling to close and we were going to try to finance in between. I dropped our freeze on the credit temporarily then we put it back on because we didn't get a response from the sales guy in enough time. I don't like leaving my credit open, but we were able to do with cash afterwards.
The guys that did the install were from Pacific Bath Company, and somebody left the light on underneath the tub. My wife spotted it one night. You can see cracks behind it and you can see the light. I've called and called, and I get no response. One secretary sounded concerned but that's as far as it went. The light is still on. It worries me and nobody's doing anything about it. Other than that, I like just about everything about our Kohler tub. It's cool. Being crippled up, it's far easier for me to get in and out of it.

Installation was just one day, and it was all right. I'm thankful that I have the tub because it's a go-to to help relax me through the day or before I go to bed. It's very relaxing. There's something that I wish was different though. There's heat on the back, which is nice, but it’d also be nice if there's heat on the seat part. ‘Cause I try to warm my seat up before I sit down on it. Other than that, it's awesome to be able to have the tub in my home.

We already talked to two other companies prior to the time the Kohler representative came and talked to us, but we were more compelled to buy from Kohler than the other companies because of the presentation from representative. Instead of trying to push a product on us, he listened to our needs first and that's what he presented to us. He gave us the very best possible deal for it too. From the beginning of the transaction to the very end, it was tailored to the customer's needs first.
Kohler had a problem about getting the materials in, but that was going on all over United States and it was beyond their control. It was a little frustrating, but they kept us abreast of the situation. They sent us notifications about what was going on with that. The lady also promised that as soon as the materials came in, they'd let us know, and they did. They even notified us there was a cancellation. The first cancellation they got, they called and asked if they could do it on that day, and we said, “Sure.” The crew got here at 2:00 that afternoon and did most of the work that day. They came back and finished at the next day, 1:00. They respected the home, and they were very courteous and professional about the way they went about things. They came in right to it. They encountered problems, and they were nice enough to come out and talk to us, and explain what they were doing.
My wife has arthritis in both knees, and I have bad knees too from seven knee operations. We were both going through pain everyday. With arthritis, you can't do anything. My wife couldn't get in a tub because her knees made it a little hard for her to get over, and the Kohler walk-in tub helped us. It's very convenient for us, and we don't go through all the aches and pains we normally go through every day. It's been a great experience. It's exactly what I wanted and what we needed, especially this time of the year when it's cold outside. People of a certain age have aches and pains that are more intense than other times of the year. Having a nice hot tub to soak in is a great relief. We have some of the neighbors inquiring about the tub, and we gave them the number for Kohler to call if they wanted to. I told them we highly recommend it.

It took some time for Kohler to finally get the tub installed, but I know with all that we're going through, nationally, there was something about getting the barn doors delivered. When the guy and his son came, they put the tub right in and it took exactly eight hours like they said. It went well, and it was fast. It took some time for me to operate the temperature in the tub, but I figured that out. The guy explained a lot, but sometimes I hear things, and sometimes I don't. I wish the tub had a manual that came with it to help me work it, but I'm getting there. Other than that, I'm very happy. I'm clean when I get out of the tub, and that's the main thing. I enjoy that the seat is in there. I had a seat in the other tub and it was a little cumbersome. This one is much easier to work, and the whole thing makes the bathing process faster. It's better too. Sometimes, I just sit in it and enjoy letting the water run all over me. I like it.

They were offering 50% off of installation and we had been discussing the possibility of getting a walk-in tub. So we called in and made the appointment with the company that was representing Kohler. Then the salesman came out and he was very knowledgeable. Our installers were Roy and his co-worker. They were super. They were here on time. If they had any questions or needed to explain anything to us, they were extremely thorough. They did what they had to do.
When the installation was about completed, Roy filled up the tub and walked us through the operation of everything. When they were done, we sat down at the table with all of the booklets and the paperwork. He went through everything with us again about how to clean it, air out the jets, and everything that we could possibly need to know. He pointed out all of the functions on the sheet. He also went over sort of the cheat sheet, which we do keep in the bathroom until we really get the hang of how to use it. They left the bathroom cleaner than when they got there.
We got the Kohler tub with the bells and whistles. It's really lovely. We've used it and the only issue we may have is our water heater may not quite be big enough to handle it. So I turned the temperature up on the water heater because what was happening was we were getting about halfway full, and then it was completely going cold. Even though it was a lukewarm sort of bath when I first tried it, it was really nice. My husband is older than I am and has some health issues including balance issues. So with the tub, there's a much better confidence level of him if he's home by himself and showering or bathing. There's less likelihood of him slipping and falling because it's got the safety bar. We also have extra safety bars. We absolutely love the tub.

After the first contact, we were offered a free upgrade to where the tub has the pump and every bell and whistle. We took that offer. But we didn't realize that it had anything to do with the installation date because that was not mentioned. The installation date was fine in that phone call. But later on, we got an email saying that if we don't bump up the installation date to suit their schedule, then the offer goes away. I didn't like that. But we managed to negotiate around that and we were happy.
The installation process was reasonably good. We ended up with a unit that the door opened next to the commode. So we needed the door to be on the other side. But they quickly brought another unit and fixed the situation. We asked them why does it come on by itself after you use it for a while? They answered that question with respect to pushing the extra water out after you drain it out of the pump. So we're fine. Now that they've answered our question, we're not concerned about it.

Our sales experience was good. We got all the information we needed. Then the installation went really good. I like everything about the tub. It takes about 20 minutes to get it full above the jet things. So it's kind of cold. But I don't know that there's any other way you could do it. Other than that, it's great. I'm amazed every time I think how quickly it goes down, and then how it drains well. The seat and the floor drain. I'm really impressed with the way that door can shut and keep all that water out.

We had a Kohler Belay Walk-in Tub installed, and while we do like the tub, we are not pleased with the business practices of the local dealer (Caliber Medical Supply) and the Kohler website for not forthcoming with details.
• Local Salesperson did not explain that the installation cost does not include plumbing or electrical charges.*When searching Kohler’s website today found those details in the fine print at the bottom of the page, ONLY IF I expanded the “Read More” for when the offer expired – WHY HIDE IT.
• Deposit processed 2 ½ months after ordering, 1 ½ months after install and days after a negative review WITH NO NOTICE at 8 PM on Valentine’s Day by hard keying our credit card through Square.* We thought the deposit not processing was a concession regarding our pricing concerns as sales paperwork states “Deposit Due Immediately”.
*They ordered the tub, they installed the tub, they sent a comment card, which to us, indicated the transaction was complete and we had already made our first finance payment and THEN they charged the deposit – again WITH NO COMMUNICATION – WHAT REPUTABLE BUSINESS DOES THIS.
*DO NOT RECOMMEND allowing the credit card field to be completed on the application – let them call you for it (hindsight is 20/20).
• Never received requested permits, failed electrical inspection, and never received a plumbing inspection
Our Experience: The local salesperson (Clayton) touted the 50% off installation promotion that ended that day. He asked if we knew a plumber or electrician as that would lower our costs. He indicated that they could pull permits so that there would be an electrical and plumbing inspection but didn’t suggest it. The bottom-line number was in the range we expected as we knew Kohler tubs are on the pricy side, so we moved forward with the paperwork. Clayton indicated he would leave us with a price breakout and that there was a $2,000 deposit that would be processed once the sales paperwork was received at the office to order the tub. This was Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
The following weekend we were reviewing everything and noticed we had not received the pricing breakdown. We reached out to Caliber, and they sent it over. This is when we noticed the math didn’t add up the tub was listed at $11,430.00 and that they charge $951.00 for the electrical and $1050.00 for the plumbing outside of the installation fee that was $2,965.00 reflecting the 50% off. We also questioned a miscellaneous fee that listed infill, drain kit, disposal/recycling fee, grab bars and a free wall and “Etc.” for $1,550.00. We sent a detailed letter to Caliber expressing our concerns and a $3,051.00 discrepancy.
We had to call and leave messages to get a response, and none was given in writing. During the call we shared that at no time did the salesperson mention the most important piece of information – the installation fee does not include a charge for plumbing or electrical. As a layperson, my understanding of installation is whatever it takes from start to finish less materials are the installation. We also questioned why the required materials for a tub wouldn’t be included in the price of the tub and at no time did we discuss grab bars or walls.
We didn’t understand the $131.25/hour plumber’s charge as it was a direct replacement of the current soaker tub and there were no plumbing alterations needed, or the value of the electrician as it was only running a connection to our panel which had the room. We were told that Kohler wants them to charge more and that we are getting a deal and that it is what it is with the discount, but she would share our concerns. We followed up that conversation with an email requesting that the permits be pulled, and all inspections are completed so we wouldn’t have issues if we go to sell the house. This was December 6th – 12th.
On December 28, 2021, they installed the tub. At 9 AM, a local electrician and Caliber’s installers arrived. The installers were a two-man crew. While the electrician ran his lines, the installers demoed our current tub, brought in the new tub, and hooked everything up. The crew was wonderful, clean, and timely as they finished well before 5 PM.
What stood out was:• The plumber was not a local company but part of the install crew, although the charge was separate and not discounted. Between the 50% installation fee and plumber fee, I paid $4,015.00. If I hadn’t had the promotion, it would have been $6,980.00 for an 8-hour day/ 2 people.
• The only grab bar received filled two pre-drilled holes in the tub and according to Kohler’s website, the second is built into the rim of the bath, although the billing detail indicated they were in the miscellaneous materials and an extra charge. Were you going to build the tub differently and leave holes in my tub?
Since we were told that the deposit would be processed when the office received the sales paperwork and before the tub would be ordered, and the installation was complete, it was our understanding that the $2,000.00 was what they agreed to discount out of the $3,051.00 we questioned. In January 2022 we received the standard survey asking how they did. We rated the installation high and the sales process low. It was confirmed that they received the survey at the end of January, and it was distributed to no less than 4 people between Kohler and Caliber.
On February 1, 2022, we made our first payment of $249.00 on our new tub to GreenSky. On February 14, 2022, at 8:49 PM MST, while on vacation, we received an email receipt via Square - a hard-keyed charge on our credit card for the $2,000.00 deposit. Happy Valentine’s Day. There was no call telling us that they made an error and failed to charge us and asking if the card we provided in November was still ok to charge, there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION at all before charging the call after business hours.
On February 15, 2022, we called Caliber to question the charge and were told that we owed it so that was that. We highlighted the fact that it was 2 ½ months after the sale where it was to be paid immediately and 1 ½ months after the installation and was again told it was owed. We questioned the professionalism of just charging a card that long after a transaction without communication and was told that they probably should have called, sorry. We highlighted the fact that we understood it to be what they accepted as a concession of our dispute in December and was told she wasn’t aware of any agreement, so the charge stood. Caliber’s excuse was they found that it wasn’t charged when they were processing their year-end. Year-end in mid-February at 8:49 pm?
After talking to Caliber, we called Kohler to inform them of the concerns we have had and the unprofessional business practices of Caliber and were told that someone would reach out. That was a week ago. So, we are sharing our experience, so the next person is a well-informed consumer and might make decisions and ask questions before moving forward with either company. Buyer Beware. What would make me happier about this transaction, the $2,000.00 that was charged to my credit card 1 ½ months after the install without the courtesy of a conversation refunded, copies of the permits for the install and then for all parties to consider the transaction final.

I was always afraid of buying a Kohler tub rather than the competitor's tub because doors with water in them always leak, and this is the second leaking door that I've had on this tub already. We got it in October and we've had nothing but trouble with it. My wife got in the tub last Thursday, and I walked in the bathroom and I was walking in water. It was coming out of the bottom of the door. I called the fellow named John, who put the tub in to begin with and then replaced the door. He said he would be back with me. He's going to order another door. He was good as well as the experience with Kohler. They did what they said they were going to but their product isn't as good as they’re advertising. I only used it five times and I should not have two leaky doors. Kohler’s tubs are not cheap to have these kinds of problems.

We had an interview with about five or six other companies and Kohler was the one that stood out the most. They were the ones that cared and tried everything to help my mom the most. Jeremy was one of the reps but he used to install the tub so he told us that in order to get my mom into it right away, he would do the installation himself. He did that and he brought his partner and all the people that took care of the electrical and it was done within a day's time. They put a booster on it so that it would keep the water at an even temperature and my mom wouldn't have to mess with mixing it. But the booster did not work and started leaking so Jeremy sent his guy down to disconnect that. We've been trying to get a new booster back on it but every time we set up an appointment, it snows here. So in the meantime, I just go over and help my mom and mix it. We have to do it really slow. But it's really a tedious thing of trying to do that.
My big thing was, several other companies were telling us that we could get away with having a 40-gallon tank. Jeremy told us that we really needed to have a 50-gallon tank and he was pretty much right because before the tub totally gets full, we lose the hot water, so the best thing would be to have a tankless water heater. But the 50-gallon will work. It's just we're not going to get all of our tub filled like we think we will. The other thing is that the Kohler tubs are all made in the US. The other ones are made in China and even though these others say they have a lifetime warranty, they did not cover a lot of things with their parts. I thoroughly checked out Kohler and they are a do what they say type thing. Overall, my mom likes this tub.

My mom is a little dissatisfied because of the fact that she's not able to take a shower like she used to. When they installed the tub, they removed the shower and we were a little dismayed when that happened. They said we didn't ask for a shower but there was a shower there and we thought that was gonna be staying. They put something on the wall that they could attach the handheld device to but the water goes all over the place. It's not efficient for her and I don't know if anything could be done about this. But she loves the tub and she was happy with the installation, although it didn't go as we planned.

Kohler is a top-grade company. If I buy anything that has their name on it, I'm very confident that I'll be happy with it. The guys who installed our tub were wonderful. Two guys came in and they were out of here in six hours. It was a huge job and there was no mucking around from them. What great workers and they knew what they were doing. They did a quality job. I was happy with the work they did and how they fit the tub in. But two things about the tub that is kind of a nuisance are the seat heater that doesn't automatically turn off after a certain amount of time and the draining where we have to hold the valve open until the water gets below the seat level. Those are things I don't care for about the tub. But other than that, I like using it. The thing that's really funny about it is my wife said she’d probably never use it but she’s sitting in it four times a week.

All the personnel involved from the very beginning to the very end, the gentleman who came and showed us the product and gave us the cost to the people that installed it, were superb. Although it is a little more costly than we anticipated, it is quite beautiful. It's just that there's quite a slant there because the water has to run down and out, which they said not to worry about as the surface is made for safety. But water with any kind of shampoo or soap on there can be a little slippery. We have bars in the shower, but I didn't put those in to haul myself up every day when I'm taking a shower. I'm washing, I'm moving around, I don't wanna be terrified of falling. I don't know if Kohler makes any recommendations on that. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the product very much.

I would recommend Kohler to anyone that was needing a walk-in tub. I use it about three times a week and I love it. The installation team was also fantastic. I had excellent service. When they called and said they were coming, they came. It took them two days. I didn't realize it would take two days, which was okay. They came early and they worked late. They did not fool around. They cleaned up. I couldn't ask for any better group than they were. I had a doctor's appointment and I left them here in my house alone. I had no worry at all about them. I knew they were honest.
The tub looks great. My kids admire how good it looks. That thing was heavy but they did a super-duper good job. On that first day, they had to put down all that paper to keep from damaging the floor. I told them, "Now, since you're coming back tomorrow, just leave it. You won't have to pick it up." They said, "No. We can't do that." So they rolled all the paper up and the next day they put them all down new. Which to me would have been fine for them to have left it. But they said, no, they couldn't do it. I was well-pleased.

We had a Kohler bathtub that we replaced with the Kohler walk-in tub. Working with the team at Kohler was overall a good experience. The installation was surprisingly fast, and we’re now enjoying our new tub. We like the therapeutic and the warmer for the back of the seat.

The installers were very nice and did a good job. I had a bookcase that had to be moved. It was too heavy for me to move. So, I took the books out, and they moved it for me. When they finished, they put it back where it was just as nice and neat. They took out an old sink. It had to be removed from the bathroom for them to work, and everything was great. As far as the Kohler bath, I like that I don't have to go down the basement steps to shower anymore. I can sit down and wash my feet and scrub my back. When I'm all finished, I can just sit and enjoy the nice warm water for a while before I get up and get back to my house work. The quality is good. I like it.

Kohler was the first one to respond to us. They gave us a presentation and everything looked like something we would be happy with. Their sales rep was cordial. The installation day went well even though it was windy and a little snowy. We just opened up the garage so they could work at the garage to stay out of the elements, and everything went fine. As far as the walk-in tub, I like that with just a little assistance, my dad can use it. That's been a real blessing for him.

Kohler did the installation a lot earlier than I had expected. They had to reverse some things in my home as far as the plumbing was concerned but they did what they were supposed to do. It took the whole day, but it was done. The jets feel good on my joints and make me feel more relaxed. However, I have a problem with standing up. Sometimes I slip a little bit. I also had a little issue with the way the door closed.

The purchase from Kohler was very quick. The person came and we talked. We ordered it and then, two guys came out to put it in. They were very nice and I have no complaints. Salesman presentation was phenomenal. He did however order the wrong color of tub and when it was installed the wrong color of hardware was installed. Drain issues less than a month after installation but serviced promptly. Has required two services this far to resolve. Not sure it was worth the price.

The sales rep explained to me all the things that I would get with the bath and my options if I didn't want to go with a bath. It'd just be shower. He was very good and there was no high pressure. Installation was a lot easier than what I thought it would be too. I thought it was gonna be three days, and when they got it done in one day, I was absolutely surprised. Overall, my experience was excellent. I have COPD and I had lung cancer too, so I can't stand real long. With a shower, I get tired. The bath's seating is excellent. I could sit with the shower there or I can stand. It's very nice, and I love the bath.

Everything's been fine with the sale and the installation, and the walk-in tub is of good quality. However, it was 2,000 more than I ever expected to spend, but it's part of life. The walk-in bathtub is everything I thought it would be. The only trouble with it is when I want to empty it, the empty dial won't stay up. I have to sit there and hold it. I thought of calling Kohler, but I'm going to give it a few more days then call the installers and see if there's something they can do. Also, the handle fell off, but I can work with it. I pushed the cover back on again and I'll see how long it stays.

The sales guy spelled everything out for me, and he showed me a video of all the different kinds that they had. He was awesome, and I still got his card in my purse. The installation guys were all nice and good as well, but there was a particular one who stood out. He was joking, and he was awesome. The installation guys had a bit of trouble at first with something, but they called somebody else out, and they worked through it. They did an awesome job. You can't even tell where they started and ended. Everything looks seamless and there's nothing out of place. My mom and daughter are the ones using the tub. We got the top of the line one and it has a lot of bells and whistles, including the jets and heated seats. My mom loves it.

We like the quality of Kohler. We've used Kohler a lot. Their rep came to our home and did an hour presentation. The installers were very pleasant, did their work, and kept the house clean. It was done in less than two days. I love that the installers showed me how to use it and made sure I understood. They gave me a laminated reminder of how to do it, which was very important because you're in the water and you need it to be laminated because you're wet. So, I really like that.
I love the heated back of the feet. That's one of my favorite things on our Kohler along with the jets. We've had a little problem because we didn't update our water heater. I have to fill the tub and it takes about an hour to fill it. So, we're getting estimates on getting a tankless water heater so that I don't have to boil water. I have not used it that much but the times that I used it, it did help my neck a lot.

The installer was really good. He took his time and he did a really good job. He was very professional. They had an inspector come out and do a thorough inspection. Kohler's quality seems to be top-notch. I like the power of the jets. I just think people should consider the wide door because it's not that easy to get in and out of it if you're a big person like I am. The other one on TV has a narrow door. I think the wider door would be more helpful.

The installation of our Kohler tub took a day more than what I was told, but it got completed successfully. The quality seems to be good. We don't like the whirlpool though. I wish it was bigger, but that's how it is.

The gentleman that installed our Kohler walk-in bath was a perfectionist. He did a great job. He didn't bother us. Now that our tub is installed, I like the convenience of it. I like the jets and the warm back and the shower. We have the shower handle. I like that, too, and the relaxation of it. I would highly recommend Kohler for older people, especially because it's safe and there are handles to help you, and it's a time to relax where you might not take that much time otherwise.

I always had a good experience with Kohler in regards to the other products that they manufactured. It's not related to bath stuff, but I always considered them a company's good quality stuff. When my mother-in-law decided she wanted a walk-in bath, I called Kohler and they sent a sales associate out. He was very straightforward, pleasant and not pushy. I have neuropathy and the foot and calf jets of the tub are adequate. I just wish those were a little stronger. But the back jets are very strong. I also wish it had a light. The lighting in our outdoor spa changes. I have it set on Caribbean so it lights from green to blue every 30 seconds and it's nice. But I love the Kohler walk-in that's why I got it. It's just that Kohler threw in a white toilet to replace the beige one we had so that was comped. The installer said it would be a handicapped toilet, but he didn't put that in. He put in a regular one. I've been meaning to call him on that.

I'm very unhappy with the tub. After I used it for about a month, it leaked. Roy, the installer, came out and said, “We're going to order a door, but I'll fix it so that you could use it temporarily.” He also told me not to use it for 24 hours. I waited 48 hours but when I used it again, it leaked 10 times worse than it did the first time. I waited and waited. They said it would be here in three weeks but I waited more than two months. Finally, I called them and the rep said that it just arrived, which seemed like a strange coincidence to me. Roy came out with the door but when he went to install it, it was the wrong door. I'm not very happy with Kohler. It was a lot of money put out for something that you can't use. Roy was wonderful but the product was very inferior.

I liked the design of Kohler and their features. It was better quality made than a lot of the others. Kohler was expensive, but some of the other ones were just $1,000 less so I decided I'm gonna go with the best. Everything went marvelous and very smoothly with Kohler. I was very impressed. I like the heated feature that heats up the porcelain so you're not freezing. I love the two bubble controls, the hydrotherapy in particular. I have joint pain and it really helped. It's given me a much better quality of life using it. I also liked the step. It was a smaller step than a lot of the other ones.
The installers definitely cleaned up after themselves. Kohler said that if they found a problem, they would fix it at no extra charge. But they didn't find any problems. The only thing was, my doorframe may not have had enough nails put into it when they put it back. When I hang on to it, sometimes, it comes a little loose. But it's just a very minor thing and it does not bother me.

The sales rep of Kohler was very thorough, professional and quite detailed. The installers were able to move the installation time up sooner than what we had originally planned for, and that was a plus. They also arrived promptly on the date they said they would and they finished the installation in two days. They fulfilled all the promises they said they would. I like the walk-in bath very much.

I'm happy with Kohler. I'm not very happy at all with their banking facility. They wouldn't accept my credit card, which is a debit card tied directly to my checking account. So I don't know how I'm gonna pay them. But the Kohler sales rep was great. She explained everything. The guys that came over and worked on it were great, too. They were in and out in a day and a half. I love everything, except the shower. When you want to take a shower, you have to pull it out and it's on a hose, like you would have on an overhead. But this, it should be something attached above that can hold the showerhead while you're rinsing your hair. Pretty tough to switch your hands back and forth to do that. But I use the massaging jets and I'm quite happy with that.

I don't know if I misunderstood a couple of things that the Kohler sales rep said or not, but he left me confused. I was given the impression that I could run the bathwater, fill it up, and shower at the same time, which isn’t true. It’s either one or the other, which prevents me from showering off real fast while the tub is running. I’m wasting a lot of water. But other than that, it was okay.
The installers were wonderful. They were working another job here in Lincoln City, so they’d go from one house to another. I told him, up front, that was perfectly fine. They came at 8:00 in the morning and worked from the morning. Then they’d go over to the other place and work during the afternoon. Then I told them, “If you’re just staying in a hotel, you’re welcome to work as late as you want. It doesn’t matter to me." It was really nice that they had the flexibility to get the job done that way. Everything is done beautifully, except right now I'm having one issue with them. Today, I left a third voicemail. Some of the caulking is pulling away. They had filled it with water when they caulked it. I just need to have that touched up so water doesn't go down the walls or ceiling. But other than that, everything's fine.

It takes a lot of water to fill up more than I anticipated, but that's fine. However, I was hoping we get the 1,500 off, but only got the 1,000 off.

Kohler is a good brand and we're satisfied with it so I would recommend it. The installation went well. I worried about the floor and the wall but it turned out perfect. The tub has worked perfectly. However, after we turn it off and we're out, it will sound like something's running, but then it stops. There's no water running. I ran in there the first day thinking that was going on. But it stops after a while after it makes that noise. The man told me that it would do that though.

I've always had Kohler in St. Louis and it's always been a good experience. They were phenomenal. The wall behind the tub was stained. It wasn’t stained if you looked at it straight on but if you walked into the room in an angle, you could see it. They had somebody come out, and they tried their best to get it out. It didn't come out so they came out and put in a whole new wall. They fixed everything. The first day, I was going to take a bath but my jets didn't work. I called them and they came out. What had happened was a little wire had gotten loose and detached from what would normally turn on the jets. Then, I went to drain the tub a few days later, and something broke on the stopper. They had to come out and fix the stopper. All three technicians that came were wonderful.
I have had a high liver count since I was 20 years old. But about three weeks after I was using tub, I went for a blood test and my liver got better. I don’t know why it did, but it did. Now, I take my feet and put them on those jets. I also have a physical condition with my spine and I take two baths a day for at least 30 minutes each. I’m loving the tub.

I bought a walk-in tub from Kohler and they said it's a one day installation, but it turned into a day and a half. They had little problems because it's a small bathroom. Also, it’s a luxury item, but now I'm getting so used to it. It has been installed for two months and I got a couple issues with it. I called up their reps over here to answer some questions when they get around to opening a ticket. There are things they’re going to have to look at. The little things that are stuck on the side of the tub popped off because I was trying to adjust it while it was running. It snapped right back in so it hasn’t come out since. The other one is when I open the drain to empty the tub, there's a knob with a lever I move to the left and it opens the drain. I have to hold on to it for a few minutes because if I let go of it, it pops back to closed position. I have to let it empty at least halfway before I can let go of it and it will stay where it’s supposed to be.

Kohler's sales rep was not only informative, but he also went through step-by-step on what to expect. He even told us that we may not get it on the prescribed timeframe and timeline because of where it's coming from and with COVID, things are a little bit slow. It didn't leave us expecting it today and it showed up next month. I like the economics of the Kohler product. I've got a brand new water heater that we just put in this year, and it doesn't put out enough hot water for the tub to fill it. So, we are going to look into an inline heating system. Also, we got ours with a shower and it really needs a way to make the shower curtain go around behind the shower like a curl bar. I'm trying to construct one now. Otherwise, the water has a tendency to end up on the floor. So, in order to keep the shower curtain inside the tub, we have to have something that goes around in a half oval. Other than those, my wife loves the hell out of it. She uses it every day.

My mother lives with us now and she can't get down in a regular bathtub. She wanted a walk-in bath. The Kohler sales rep guy was really good and nice. I like him. The installation crew was also really good. My mother's favorite feature is that walk-in bathtub. I also like the whirlpool jets myself. I had a sore back one day and it felt good to get in that thing. Although, it's pretty expensive. My mother paid $22,000.

I like everything about my walk-in from Kohler. I like having all that water and being able to get in it. I like it when those jets come on and hit my back. It feels good. It's horribly expensive, but I'm very satisfied with the quality. Also, the rep was very nice. The installers did a marvelous job and finished about 4 o'clock. They didn’t even take the whole day. It was a father and son that came here and installed it. My bathroom is not very big, and I got the smallest tub that Kohler has, and it was a miracle to me that they could do it. Then they cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed.

My interactions with their sales rep were all positive. I called once to find out where we were at with setting a date for installation because I hadn’t heard from them for a while but they were getting ready to call me. They had the dates and everything went fine. The installation took a day longer than they planned because my bathroom had a walk-in tub that they had to get out and it was hard to get out. It was just one guy and he worked all the time trying to figure out how to get that tub out. He was great and he was patient. Since having the tub, I can get a decent shower now and it's safer for me.

I thought everything was gonna be through Kohler but there was a company that buys the things from them and this company installs the tub. It's not Kohler that does anything. Also, I was going to call them because we financed it and it said on there that there would be no payments for 18 months or something like that. But the company that it was financed through wants their money on the 21st of this month. I didn't realize it was gonna be that way when I bought all the stuff. Other than those, the tub seems to work like it's supposed to. You're in the heat and it has the jets, it's comfortable and it helps.

The reps at the store were very informative. We went through an installer that's down in the Chicago area and he was great. He came out and took care of everything, explained everything, and set it up to make sure we had enough time to get it installed. Their installers beat his schedule half of the amount of time. They worked after hours. They planned five days but got it done in three. They took care of everything and did an exceptional job. They answered and took care of all my wife's requests. We got the walk-in tub with a shower. I live in a condo, so it's only 40-gallon and that's the bare minimum. It still works because I only fill it halfway up. It's a little small for the shower part though 'cause my wife still does a stand-up shower. But we’re getting used to it and everything else has been great about it.

It took about four months to install the tub. I know it's with COVID so it was a little bit delayed but it was quite a wait. Also, when the installer was finished, I would have liked a little more of a walkthrough on how to use it and a little more of a demonstration. There was a couple of communication issues during installation, as well, but those were resolved. It worked out well in the end. The tub is very well made and there are no bells and whistles. It's just a real nice, sturdy bath that I like. It was expensive and the cost was something that was hard to take but the quality is better than I expected.

The people that came out were very good. They actually went out of their way to do the installation for us. They added it to their already busy schedule and they did a good job. We have the shower package with the tub and it seems to be working okay. It's just with the flat surfaces, the water runs around. But I've talked to the installer and we're working on solving those issues. Also, we got the door and the separate shower faucet and head up on the wall, and those still need some work. Kohler could refine that so that it might work a little bit better, not from a functional standpoint, but from what controls the water on the top of the tub.

The installation went well and everybody working wore masks when they came in. Although I had to have somebody come back a couple of times. The door kept popping and they followed through every time I called about it. Then, one guy figured out it was about 1/8 of an inch too wide so they cut that down and it's been fine ever since. The tub is pretty pricey but it'll add to the resale value of the house. Also, they were able to work with me. I wasn't sure and I told their rep I'd save money for a year but he worked pretty hard on making it work for me and got me in it. I like that I can get in and out real easily and I love the hand shower feature because sometimes, when I use the big shower, more water is used and some of it splashes.

The gal that came in and took the order was good. She also did me a favor because she got the tub to me quick. I've been suffering from a lot of arthritis and I got the tub within a few weeks of when I ordered it. So that was very fortunate. Three guys came to do the installation and they did the whole thing without a ripple. They didn't bother us a bit. They were very polite and thorough. They did a beautiful installation.
I was surprised how much money the tub costs. But it's a great little unit and I've enjoyed it. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is that it takes about 13 minutes for it to fill up in the beginning. I wish there was a way I could get a ladder and walk up and step into it after it's filled up. I didn't have to sit in there naked shivering waiting for it to fill up.

All the people at Kohler were very cordial. The installation was really simple. The installers came in and it took them four days to knock it out. The quality of all the work that was done was excellent. The only thing that they need to brush up on was a little bit of tile work that they did at the end. The walk-in bath is nice to use. You can get in and out of both of the tub and the shower.

I enjoy taking a bath every evening and I didn't want to find myself at a time when I would want a tub and not have it. So, I got one as a preventative measure and not to be in a position where I wasn't able to bathe because I felt weak, ill or just tired. I was not willing to take a chance with a regular tub, and I felt that the Kohler bathtub is a secure way of bathing. Everything was perfect. The installation was done efficiently, and my house as well was taken care of. The person I worked with was wonderful and efficient. She brought in equipment so that I was able to visually see what I would have. She wasn't pressure. She didn't tell me that if I do it this minute, I can save dollars. She understood that I was interested and she knew my needs. She showed me exactly how the Kohler would take care of what I was looking for.

Kohler was expensive. It was $31,000 for a bathtub. The installation was awesome as soon as I showed the techs how to put it in the bathroom. It's a really small space and they had a hard time. I had to use my military expertise on packing to show them how to put it in there. They wanted to take out my vanity and my new countertop. I was like, “That wasn't happening. We're going up and over, buddy.”
The techs got back and fixed the leak already. But there's a defect in the design of the tub. The water runs over the edge to the floor. On the door side, there should be a curved up lip at the edge, forcing the water that gets on the edge all the way around the tub to run back into the tub, rather than over the edge of the tub to the floor. Other than that I absolutely love it. I spent an hour in it this morning and I didn't want to get out.

I bought the top-of-the-line that Kohler has. The installation was really good. The tub holds the heat when you shut off the faucet. Also, I like all the jets and hydrotherapy, as well as the heated back.

I emailed Kohler and told them I'd like a call but didn't get a response. I called them and they sent a salesman out who walked us through everything and gave us a quote. It was pricey but I've heard Kohler’s been good for a long time. I'm glad that I did because when the salesman came out, he showed us other companies where they've had to go in and take the tub out because it didn't work right or leaked. We had to get their water heater to go along with it because it takes a lot of hot water. We have to keep it up as high as it will go in order to fill the tub. But that's not a big deal. It works fine for my husband to use every day, so we're real happy with it. I feel much more relaxed knowing that my husband can just step in and take a bath and not have to worry about falling. I'm glad that we ended up on the Kohler brand because I feel it will last and we will get help if anything goes wrong with it.
I tried to clean it for the first time. The book and the people that installed and had said to fill it up, put two teaspoons of dishwashing detergent in it, the powder and bleach, and turn on the jets. I did that, walked back in there, and there were suds two feet above the tub and growing. I called Indianapolis where they put it in and they said, “We’ve not heard of that. We're going to give you the corporate office to call and that's where the tech support is.” I called them and the girl that answered the phone said because of problems like that, they were no longer recommending me do that. They have a special cleaner now that they'd send out that's a disinfectant.

The sales rep was wonderful and the installation was a pleasant surprise. Usually, the people that have been doing the contract work haven't been good. I've been sorely disappointed in the professionalism and their quality of craftsmanship. But not from Kohler. I was very impressed and the job was almost up to my standards. We're enjoying our Kohler tub. It's nice. We like getting to soak in a nice hot tub and sitting. But I'm a big man, and it could stand to be taller so when I'm sitting in there, the water would be up around my shoulders. Also, it would have been nice if we could have got it cheaper.

The installation was as awesome as the workers. They pretty much kept me informed along the line, when they would receive the shower, and when they needed to come in and put it in. I was kept in the loop all the way until the installation was completed. I love the tub. My wife recently got to the point her mobility is not what it used to be. She has a tendency to stumble and I was afraid of her stepping over the bath to get into the shower. Our Kohler tub works perfectly and I'm totally pleased.

The installation crew was real good. I liked them. I liked the sales rep too. What I liked about all of them was they made sure that I fully understood the information that they were presenting. The installer must have made three trips to my house to make sure that everything was running right and check if there were any issues. He called me again after I took my first bath in the tub to make sure that everything went as I had expected. Overall, I had a very good experience with the sales rep and the installer.

Jim did a great job. I really appreciated him. He had a problem with his vacuum and it had a hole in the bag. So, he ended up vacuuming my whole bathroom because this white dust was flying. He was very good. He had to come all the way from Wisconsin and he went through Sioux City and had to drive north for 75 miles to get to my house in Rock Rapids. I appreciate it because he had stayed late, but he also had to do some shopping in Sioux City. He was right back the next morning. As far as the tub, I like it in my home simply because I like the whirlpool action on the back. I got arthritis in the back. So, I like that a lot. I enjoy the tub itself, and I don't think I would want anything else. I'm very happy with it. The walk-in tub is very unexpectedly pleasurable.

They did the install in about a day and a half and they were fantastic. Any questions I had, they answered me and showed me. I love the tub. One thing that I really was impressed with is that after you get out of the tub, it blows all the water out of the jets and it can take up to a half an hour for them to do it, but mine hasn't taken that long so far. I love the way it works and they told me I had a lifetime guarantee, which is a big thing for me. I was very impressed with Kohler.

I got a Kohler walk-in tub. I’ve always wanted one. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it’s getting worse, and it was hard for me to climb over a tub. So, I saved up money. I went on the internet and looked at what was available. I came across Kohler. I called them and they sent a representative out here. I liked what he had to say, and I liked the quality and everything that he presented.
The two men that came out here for the installation did an excellent job. They worked their butts off. I was really impressed. They’re very professional and very personable. My tub was pricey but so far, I'm loving it. I like the idea that the showerhead is installed into the tub. It’s not installed with all this hardware hanging up over your head, which to me, I didn’t like it. I like the looks of the tub. I like everything about it and my most favorite would be the jets in the tub.

The rep that came out was really nice and patient. He explained everything in-depth to me. The people that installed my tub were really fabulous. They explained to me because I was led to believe that it was going to be a one day installation. But it was not true. When they got there the first day, they got everything taken out as far as my old tub and the bathroom wall was taken down so they can put up the new stuff. The next day, they brought the tub in, and then they started installing the tub. They also put the new wall up. They explained everything. They did a great job. They said, “If anything happens, we'll come back and take care of it. No charge and all that.” They gave me their direct phone number just in case they need to come back.
My tub is fabulous. I like the showerhead and the shower feature. I hurt my back and I had back surgery back in 2012, so I hadn't taken a shower since because I can't stand up properly in a regular shower. But since I've got the tub, I took a bath one time, and ever since then, I've been taking a shower. It's been great. My grandson also loves it too. He's only two years old and he likes to stand in there and turn over the spicket.

Tom gave a good presentation where he had everything out and showed what the fixtures were, and he had a screen that showed us everything. But I wasn't a lover of the price. I paid more for the tub than I did for my truck. I got a lot of payments to make on it, but I’m pleased. My wife loves the tub. When the jets were on medium, it relaxed her legs so much and she had a hard time getting off the seat. At the time, she was in there for over 20 minutes sitting in there with the bubbles. She likes getting a bath.
The installers were supposed to be here on the 11th. They said they might not get here until around 12:00 and the installer showed up at 6:30 that night. He said he was gonna take some pictures and that they'll be back. He was a real nice guy and very neat. I took a picture of the bathroom before I even cleaned anything up right after he left, and you can't tell that they've been doing any construction there. So, I’m pleased with the construction.
The installer started the work the next day. For the next two days, he worked 11 hours a day with some boy. They had to carry this 300-and-some-pound tub up the steps. They knew I had to put in a 50-gallon hot water heater because I only had a 40-gallon. They had to go to Home Depot to get the hot water heater. They took pictures when I signed up for it. Why isn’t the hot water heater in with the tub if they knew I had to get one? The installer spent three hours between wanting to get something to eat and getting the tub from Home Depot. I figured when the installers go to pick up their stuff, everything would be right there, and all they would do was load it up and head to the job site. The installer had to go around finding the parts for it. For a big company, why did the guy have get everything together and put it on his trailer and go two and a half hours away? I pictured a little more put-together situation and it seemed kinda helter-skelter.
He also had to get a piece of pipe to hook up the hot water tank and I took him up to the hardware store because he didn't know where it was at for sure. So, we bought quite a few pieces and what he didn't use, I took back and got my money back. There was only one tightened up bolt that he needed to connect the gas line to the hot water tank. But I didn't mind that. I cut up the boxes and got rid of them and put them in the back of my truck and took them down to where I work and threw them in the dumpster. The only thing that the installer took back was the old tub he took out that was cut up into pieces. He put that on the trailer and strapped it down. But he was great to work with and I didn't mind them being in the house. He was very polite.

The installers did the installation in one day and my parents are happy with the tub. My mom only loves the jets. It helps her back. But we didn't know that we had a water leak, and the tub went through the floor. Kohler fixed it but we didn't know it was that bad. So homeowners might want to check the flooring and what's underneath before they come in.

The people who put the bath in left me their number if there's a problem. So far, the quality has been great. But it could be a little bit wider to have more room to move around the shower.

Kohler was a bigger name and we decided to buy a walk-in bath from them. It's good quality but I wish it drained more quickly. And the heat sensors in the back don't warm up sufficiently for my wife. It is what it is though. When the tub was installed, the reps finished early, which was good. We also noticed some things that needed improvement. But the call to Kohler was quick and somebody was out right away. So, we were impressed with that.

We called Kohlet and their rep was very nice and he explained most things. The only thing I wish he would have explained better was that you're cold until the bathtub fills up. Other than that, the installation was very good. Those people were right on the money for everything. They’d put the water in backwards, though, so they had to come back and do that after the weekend. So far, I'm very happy with our walk-in bath. I like sitting in really hot water and feeling comfy. But if anyone's thinking about getting one, I would tell them about how you need to make sure you have a heater and the heater on in the tub.

Turn it on when you enter the bath and turn it off as you exit; it will help you stay warm the entire time you are in the bath. Additionally, the handshower works great for a warm rinse while the bath drains.
Depending on the plumbing and age of the home, it may be necessary for some customers to purchase a larger water tank in order to maintain the preferred water temperature in the bath.
