It took two days. The installers were professional. I like everything about the tub. But I have to call them back because the wand spray with the tubing that comes out like a shower spray thing is not working. Otherwise, it's a good product.

My mom and dad asked me to do a research and see if I can find a good company. I did a research online. I know that Kohler is a good company and my parents were very impressed with the presentation. The gentleman was super nice and explained everything in detail to both of them. My mom got a walk-in tub and it has a shower hose attachment that goes on it. It has all the features. It was extremely pricey, but as my mom said when my dad's mouth dropped open on the price, "You got the truck out there? This is my truck." It's not something we never priced on before and that's what I tried to explain to my dad. We got a lot of nice discounts and my parents wrote a check for the tub, so they got a discount on top of that. I think the price reasonable, but I've never priced a tub. For what my parents got and as much as my mom loves the tub though, it's perfect.
We got the walk-in tub within a very short period of time. The installers came in first thing on a Friday morning and they were out before 12:30. They took out the old tub, put the new one in and reset it. They went over a whole demonstration with my mom on how to use it, gave her instructions, and highlighted the instructions. It was extremely impressive. My mom's gonna be 77 next month and the Kohler walk-in tub has made life so much easier for her. She was having issues getting in and out of the shower and this has been a lifesaver for her. It's absolutely wonderful. We were very happy that we were able to get it for her.

I picked Kohler because of name recognition. And they had a product that looked suitable, so I called them. They sent the wrong product on the first shipment. We waited and waited for the tub to arrive so it could be installed. It was supposed to have a left to right opening door, but it didn't. It had a left to right opening door. We're in Montana. It came all the way from Idaho. They had to take it back, order a new one. That put off the installation another three weeks.
The installation from start to finish was top-notch. They complimented us when they tore open the wall they were putting the walk-in bath into where an old shower had been. When they opened up the wall, they called us in to look at how well our house had been built. They said, "Your house was very finely built, and this is a really good job. And we just wanted you to see it." They continued with their work. They picked out everything that the product rep had ordered for us. The colors were a perfect match. They worked as a whole team. They were delightful, and worked very hard. It was supposed to be a two-day install and it turned out to be four. But they worked through the weekend. One of them even had a tooth abscess on him and he had to go to the ER. But his partner kept working through the weekend on Saturday.
It was supposed to be a Friday install, and they didn't finish until Sunday night. Because they had to get back for another install in Idaho on Monday, so they drove through the night, Sunday, after they finished with us to get back, to keep their schedule for the Monday customer. That was above and beyond the call of duty. Because he had to go to the ER. He couldn't even work for half a day.
My husband is delighted. He's 91 and no longer ambulatory. He can't use his legs. So, it's not technically a walk-in tub for us. It's a slide-in tub. He would roll his wheelchair up to it and scoot in from seat to seat. They even call it a slide-in tub. The product is American Tubs, not Kohler. But we ordered it through the Kohler dealer because they offer it as a slide-in instead of a walk-in. It's very comfortable. My husband likes to soak in it and have a cup of coffee. It's easy to use. The only thing that I would recommend as a product improvement on the design is because the rubber gasket in the door hardens and cracks, if we leave it closed all the time, we have to leave it open. We have to leave the door ajar so the rubber would stay soft. If you like your house tidy and you walk by the bathroom and see the door is open all the time, it's annoying. You wanna close the door.

I went online looking at the different walk-in baths and I liked Kohler the best. We had done our homework and worked on it for a couple of months before I made an appointment for the salesperson to come to the house. It was very good dealing with Kohler’s reps. They were very willing to work with us. The installers were terrific and the whole company was exceptional. My mother is 98 and lives with me and she couldn't be steady in the shower. So I bought the walk-in tub so she doesn't have to climb anything. That's the safety feature that I bought this tub for that wasn't on all the other tubs. We love the product and I would recommend Kohler to anybody that wants to look at these things. They're very expensive but it’s worth it. It's a whole different change in the house but the installers got it done quickly without a big mess and we're very happy.

First, I was looking at Safe Step, but then I wanted Kohler because it was a better name. Their sales rep, Nick, was excellent with everything that he was explaining and everything that he had done for me. I had an incident wherein I was in this situation while I was on the floor and he helped to get me up. The installers were excellent too. They put everything in and they were very neat. The tub is excellent as well. I'm more relaxed and definitely feel safe and secure being able to get in it.

The sales rep was a reasonable guy and the installers were professional. Installation took two days, and the tub is good. I'm 74, so I didn't wanna fall. I get in and out, and I like the jets.

I'm a retired plumber and I knew about Kohler. I like them. The rep was very nice and explained things good. He showed up when he said he would. I knew what would happen because he told me in advance. He went right through it like it was supposed to. Filling up the batch should be a little quicker, especially the drain. But my wife likes to go in it because it's very convenient. The features are all good.

My experience with Kohler has been very good. I saw it in an AARP magazine. There was another one as well, but I used to live in Wisconsin. So, for me, Kohler is a name of quality. The sales rep was a serious young guy and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Installation was unbelievable. I'm an engineer and I wouldn't have thought the tub could have been lifted in. I couldn't see how they could with just two men. They measured the doors and the gaps and they picked it up, walked it in and put it right down where it had to be. The walk-in bath is very convenient. I haven't used it as much as I would like to have done because I've got a medical problem at the moment, which stops me using it as much. Hopefully, this will get cleared up soon, then I can use it more often.

My sister-in-law bought a Kohler walk-in bath years ago and I never used it but she liked it. I can't take a shower. So, I called Kohler and gave us an estimate. The rep was very good. He explained everything and then sent people over. Two people came out and they did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves and it was fine. I like the walk-in bath. I can sit and put the jets on. I have issues with my back and my leg. So, that helps. Filling up takes a little longer like if I'd fill it up a little more. But draining is good. It's fast. I enjoy the walk-in bath and we’re satisfied with Kohler.
We had a tub in the second bathroom and we had that tub taken out and I have the Kohler in now. My neighbors have come in and looked. And they said it looks nice and they like it. We live in an adult community. So, I said that's for us, aside from me wanting it. We have a huge shower in our master with a seat, but the seat is farther away from where the water comes down and I couldn't stand for any length of time with my leg. So, I don't use that but my husband does. I go in and fill up the Kohler, and I push the buttons and do what I have to do and it's fine. I just didn't know if I had to do anything else than just taking something and cleaning it on the inside when I was done.

The sales rep was absolutely excellent. He answered all of our questions and even some follow-up questions that we didn't think to ask. He was very informative and patient. After getting all the information after the first visit, we had to decide, and then he patiently came back and we closed the deal. The installers were great. They were courteous and very efficient. They cleaned up better than it was when they started. My experience was very good. The quality is great. The warranty on paper looks great as well. My wife and I both have knee problems. Now we have the ability to sit in there and turn the bath on. It's just so relaxing.

I like the Kohler name and brand reputation. The installers did alright although they broke our toilet flange. I didn't even know it was broken till recently when we had a plumber here. So we just had him fix it.

I had a Kohler walk-in tub installed. It's a nice installation. It is imposing. It's big, but nothing wrong with it. I like the hydrotherapy and the power of it. 10 minutes after you have drained the tub and are out of the tub, it has a take-out jet that takes out the water from the jets.

I'm at an age where it's safer for me to have a walk-in bath and I heard about Kohler by some newspaper that I read and saw their ad. I enjoyed the sales rep quite a bit. He was very helpful in explaining the program and what I would get out of the walk-in bath. He thought he was selling me the product but I'd already made up my mind when I called Kohler. I'm an educated consumer. I wouldn't have even invited him to my house if I weren't interested.
The installation was great. I like the guys who installed the walk-in bath. I live alone so I was a little apprehensive of all of these men being in my house but they were very courteous and it went very smoothly. They were very conscientious about not only doing it as fast as they could but cleaning up after themselves. I was very impressed. I saw one guy down on his hands and knees. I have a new house and he was making sure that none of their shredding was on my floor. So, I was very happy about that. The walk-in bath is worth all the money. I intend to pay for it before so that I can take advantage of the interest-free program. I like most the shower component. It was above the tub on some of the others I had looked at and I have just a little handheld. I like that because it doesn't interfere with the styling of my bath.

Their reps did a great job and they were very professional. They were considerate of someone's home and I'm very happy with what they did. We're enjoying our walk-in bath. It's really nice. We went from a regular bathtub to the walk-in bath and it's a lot safer for me and my wife. I really appreciate that aspect of it. From a mental standpoint, it eased a lot of fears, being worried about getting into a bathtub versus the walk-in tub.

I've used Kohler before and went with them again. It was fine with the sales rep and the installation and it took two days to do the install after I purchased it. It went as planned and I'm very happy. The tub fills up fast, empties fast, and it's comfortable.

I've had Kohler products for the last 25 years and they're always terrific. They were really good putting in the walk-in tub. But we ended up having a problem with the pullout hand shower getting caught on piping down below. They were here last week to fix that. But they really need to have a rest for the hand shower when it's turned on and you need both hands to soap up. When you're showering, there's no place to hook that hand shower. You've gotta lay it on and it flops all around. You can just hook it someplace, a hand shower rest so you don't have to put the whole thing back in.

I'm old and I was having trouble getting out of the bathtub on my own, and I started researching and looked at a couple different ones. Kohler seemed to be one that would work for me. It was very good dealing with the rep. He wasn’t pushy and just told me what I wanted to know. We ended up going with Kohler and I love it. We had a couple of issues but that was not the installers’ fault. It was fine. They were great. So, our whole experience was good. The price was a little expensive and more than I thought. But it's worth it.

The sales rep was excellent and the installers were very efficient and helpful. Two people did the installation and it took about six hours. I like the quality of the work that they did. Kohler is good and the jets on the walk-in bath are what I like the most.

I purchased a walk in bath recently. The installation went well and everything works. I would advise people to think about the following before they spend such a large amount of money on a tub. Hot water alert! I was assured my hot water heater would be adequate for the tub by the sales representative. It is not. I run out of hot water before the water reaches the lowest jets. One person in the household. Laundry is done with cold water. No hot water used other than handwashing. Still not enough. Technician came to bring a different trim, and he turned up temp on heater. That makes hotter water, but not more of it. Still doesn’t help. In order to have a hot bath, I will now need two heaters, or a tankless heater. Factor in that cost.
If this is an issue financially, consider it. Thousands of dollars added to the cost of the tub, which I can’t use now. I talked to four people about the problem. All promised to get back to me. I have not received any calls back. Not one call returned. Apparently that is the end of their customer service. In summary, I wish I had not purchased this tub. I feel taken advantage of and the rewards are not worth the extremely large cost. I am also upset that there was no follow up.

I called to get a walk in tub installed into my bathroom, the person on the phone said the special for the month was free install with every tub purchased. I asked for a quote over the phone but they said they couldn't do that until they came out to measure the bathroom. I set up an appointment and they showed up, took two measurements and then got into the sell pitch. In the end, they quoted me over $30,000 for one walk in tub, very misleading from the start. They offer finance and that is probably how they get people to pay $30,000 for one tub, I was expecting less than $10,000 with free install. Very misleading :(

I purchased a Kohler walk-in tub, without trying one first. The tub is in. Fit and finish and function are all okay. On 4/15/24, I got in for the first time and filled it 2" above the highest jets as required. I have a 50 gallon clean water heater. This was its only use in 10 hours. Hot water stopped 12" below recommended fill height. This is probably a good tub for short waisted users no taller than 5'6". I was using it today for stiff neck and shoulders. I am 6' 0". The water level 2" above the highest jet was just beneath my armpit. No way could I massage my neck and shoulders. Very limited use for regular to tall persons.

I've owned my KOHLER walk-in tub for approx. 18 months & it has been a disappointment from the start. The seat isn't heated, takes 15+ mins to get water above the jets, if they are on high the water splash everywhere. Save your $. Ours cost 26K. Don't believe the commercials, a large person could not get in the tub.

I’ve used Kohler products for decades. They have such great products, and I've never had an issue with them. I've installed thousands of faucets and products over the years. When I bought a walk-in bath, the sales reps were really informative. After I told them what I wanted, they knew exactly what it was and offered me a bunch of options that I didn't even know were available. I went with a lot of other options. When I first realized it, I was expecting to pay a little more because it was a Kohler, but when I saw the price, I was satisfied. On installation day, it was just one gentleman, and I was impressed. I've done years of maintenance. I have multiple licenses for HVAC and building, and this guy was way professional. I don't think Kohler is paying him enough for the kind of work he’s putting out.
The tub that I had removed was just a garden tub. My wife is a disabled veteran, and I'm also a veteran, but I'm not considered disabled. I don't let them do that to me. I walk with a cane. So having a walk-in bathtub is life-changing for us, and I've already recommended it to numerous people. It's got the heated seat and the recycler part. There's also a sprayer head that came with the tub, but I told the installer not to put that on. I went down to Home Depot and bought the big one that Kohler makes. I installed the sprayer unit that's on the tub, which is way better than the one that came with the tub.

Kohler is a good company to go with. They work with you and help you out. The guys were so good. It was around Christmas time. We gave them a $25 tip so they could go out and get dinner because they worked from early in the morning until past dinner time. They didn't leave here until 6:30. So, we figured they could go and get dinner. They were surprised.
I'm trying to upgrade. When I got it, Kohler Walk-In Bath said I had to have at least a 50-gallon water heater, which we had. And when we found out we weren't getting enough hot water, I went online and looked, and it said, "You need at least a 50-gallon hot water tank," and we had that. So, there was no deception on their part. But it said that you should upgrade because at times, provided how many times you use the hot water in a day, by the time you wanna take a tubby, you would not have enough hot water. So, you should upgrade. I'm not holding them responsible for that.
That's why we decided to look into upgrading because we tried to use it twice and we couldn't still. Even though when we conserved, even not using a lot of hot water, we still couldn't have enough to fill the tub to use the jets. That's what I need because I have nerve damage and I couldn't walk good. So, I need to get in there because I can do exercise in the tub, which would be a lot easier in the water than it is trying to do it just regular. Something with the water helps lessen the pain so I could do my exercises.
We had a great experience with them. We had a couple of glitches and they worked with us through them and offered us extra. At first, I only wanted a soaker tub to soak in the water and do exercises. But because I had to take a wall down, which they told me I probably wouldn't have to, it should fit right inside where my walk-in shower was. That wouldn't fit inside. They probably figured they didn't measure right.
Kohler gave us the hydrotherapy and the jets free. We didn't have to pay extra because I only paid for a walk-in soaker tub. We couldn't go through with it at the time that we were supposed to because it didn't fit. It delayed it another six weeks before we could get the right measurement tub and put it in. So, for that inconvenience, they gave us that. That was a little disappointing. But I didn't make a big deal out of it. They said, "You should be able to keep your slate walls." I had slate walls to match my floor in the bathroom, and I could keep those. That shouldn't be a problem. But when the electrical person came in to do it, he said, "No, we have to take all these walls down because we have to run pipe and then we have to run electric for the thing. So, we need those two. The L-shaped wall has to come down because we have to have access to the whole wall."
I said, "Really? What's gonna happen then? I'm gonna have a big open thing there?" He said, "Oh, no, no. We're gonna put wallboard." That wallboard they put up, you have to mud, sand and paint it. I said, "Look, my husband and I are disabled and we can't get on a ladder. We can't do any of that stuff." So, I would always be unfinished in there and you can see it. That was a little upsetting.
The guys were Spanish. They were good workers but the communication wasn't good. I called and said, "I need somebody to come out here that I can talk to and then maybe he could communicate to the guys." So, they sent out the project manager. He came out and said, "This is what we're gonna do for you. We're gonna give you walls. So, you don't have to do nothing. These guys here will install the walls for you and it was gonna be white." It's all white in there anyway. But he called and said, "We don't have white, but we have light gray. I think that'll even look better in there." I thought, "It'll break up all the white." And it did. Even though it's a bit lighter than the floor, the contrast is beautiful.
That was the only thing I was upset over because I knew we couldn't do the work ourselves. We're in the process of paying for it. They would put the wallboard up, and I gotta have to mud, sand and paint it. I can't do that after paying what I'm paying for this tub. So, they said, "We'll make it worth your while. We'll work with you and we'll come up for a solution." He went back, said, "I'm gonna go back to see what I have in the warehouse. Give me about a half an hour, 45 minutes. I'll call you right back."
He didn't have the white, but he said they had the light gray. It looks nice. It's like a vinyl wall. It's a bit darker. And everybody that saw it said, "Did you arrange your bathroom?" I said, "No." The walk-in shower we had replaced what we had there. So, it was the same dimension. It was too wide for the bathroom. But when you put that walk-in tub in, it's smaller, and I have so much room. So, if I ever have to have an electric wheelchair going there, I would have plenty of room to get through and out of the bathroom. It was a blessing in disguise even though we had a couple of glitches to go over. And they worked well with us. We're not getting charged anything extra for it. They were so easy to work with. And they always offered something to take care of the problem. So, it was worthy.
The hot water would only go up to the seat, which covered up to my knee when I'm sitting down and that's it. Nothing for my back. So, I said, "We'll have to upgrade." We thought we would have to have another bill. Some place offered a seven years interest-free. Another place called me and they're called Mass Lean. I never heard of it. I was going through Mass Save. And after the work is done, they would give a rebate of $750, but I don't know how much it would cost to buy the water heater and have it installed. This place does it all for nothing. No money out of our pockets. And as long as we're getting extra help with our gas and electric, which we are, we qualify for the program.
On a one-family house, the biggest you can get is 100 gallons. But I wanted to make sure because my husband has to use it, too, because he has medical problems. So, both of us. I said we need the 100 because 80 wouldn't do it. We would have the same problem. We still wouldn't be able to fill it up as much as we should. I'm gonna get ready to make my third payment on the tub and we couldn't get in it and use it. That is the only drawback that we're upset over. But it's not their fault. The other stuff was because somebody didn't measure right. But that was different. We took care of that.

I love the walk-in bath. It's very comfortable to sit in and get in and out of. I love the way the Jacuzzi part of it works. It's a delight. Also, the installer was marvelous. I have recommended Kohler to friends.

KOHLER's rep brought a screen and showed those visuals of their walk-in tubs. Then, the installers came and put my order in all in one day. So far, I like the Jacuzzi and the bubble parts of the tub. It doesn't take long for the water to get hot and when it does, it comes in very hot. And it drains very quickly. My wife loves it. The price was a little high, but it's a great product.

The sales rep came out and presented the product. We discussed the pricing and I decided to enter the contract. Three days later, they were installing it. Both the electrician and the installation team did an excellent job and made sure everything was cleaned up after themselves and demonstrated the product. My brother-in-law is enjoying the walk-in bath and it has helped him with mobility. He likes the fact that he just walks in and he uses the handheld shower and he likes sitting in there with the Jacuzzi running.

The salesperson at Kohler Walk-In Bath was very knowledgeable about the sale and about the product itself. I compared it to the other products that were on the market. He knew the advantages of Kohler over some of the other products out there. The installation guys were great. They were very knowledgeable and they worked their tails off out here. The installation took about two days. They didn't have a problem, but the plumber for the water tank had some problems. As far as the product, I never had one of those bubble baths before. I have neuropathy in my feet and when I turn that stuff on, it goes bubbling on my feet and I'm in holy heaven. Also, I was afraid of standing up in the shower and slipping. In the walk-in tub, I can sit down and I don't have to worry about falling. I like it. It's great.

The salesperson at Kohler came to the house, presented his product, and it was very favorable. The installation team was very clean. What they said was going to occur with the construction occurred on time. Noise-wise, it did not disturb the household at all. It was a good experience. My mother-in-law loves the final product. She take a shower in it as well as enjoy Jacuzzi in it. She's able to shower comfortably and take a bath whenever she wants. She's safe within the actual tub itself. The only thing was the actual shipping from the plant from Kohler to my residence. The original date had to be postponed because of shipping, but it was a shipping issue and not a Kohler issue.

Our experience with Kohler was good up until the installation. Everyone was wonderful. Now, I'm not getting any help from them as far as using this tub properly. It feels very flimsy. To push the drain down, it feels very flimsy. To get the water to come up the showerhead feels very flimsy.

Everything went wonderfully with my experience with Kohler. The Kohler sales rep I worked with was nice and he explained everything to us. The installation went well and they did it in one day. It's for my wife. She has a bad back and knees. We've had some more work done to it, so she hasn't been able to get into it. She's only been in it once or twice.

I had three other companies on my list that I was going to call but Kohler's rep got to my door before any of them and I was impressed with her presentation so I went with them. Also, she showed me the difference between Kohler products and the people that I was scheduled to call and I was just impressed with the Kohler products. I let them install it and it went wonderful. They knew exactly what they were doing, didn't make any mistakes, and cleaned up after they finished. The bath is neat and I love it so much. Every time I go in there, I have the hearts coming out of my head.

Everything was smooth in the installation of my Kohler walk-in bath. I like the water jets and I like that the water stays at a good temperature. I also like that I can sit down in the tub and it's easy to get up. But I'm having problems with the stopper and there's a washer around the part of the tub that you can regulate the heat and what you push for the jets to go and that washer around it has cracked.

I contacted Kohler and used a scan code. They put me in touch with the local installers here in the St. Louis area and facilitated that. Ed came in and presented himself well. He exuded a presence that made me comfortable with his level of experience. He went through the process. He was very diligent in making sure that he followed the Kohler program step by step and covered all the bases. There was a hand-out material as well as the conversations. We were able to make a decision then and he was able to go right into taking measurements and getting us in the queue to install.
There were two individuals that came to do the install. It took two days to do it. The main reason for the two days was their electrician was not available on day one. He had to come back on day two to put all that stuff in. We're on point for the quality of the workmanship, and the crew represented Kohler well. It's an expensive unit but it does its job. We like that the tub got the depth and the whirlpool. It's easy to get in and out of. It’s got a hand bar inside it and a ridge on the outer edge that you can grasp, getting in and out of. The website has short YouTube blurbs that I could watch and that was helpful. It answered questions.
When they were evaluating the hot water heater to see if it's large enough for the tub, 50 gallons is what they said is adequate and 50 gallons is what we have. But it takes all of my 50-gallon hot water heater to use that tub. We have to manage around that with other uses. Kohler might wanna make these tankless hot water heaters, in-line hot water heaters. They're already wiring the thing up and bringing an electrician in. It wouldn't be a big step to put a tankless hot water heater in line with that tub outside the demands on the hot water heater.

The sales rep was very understanding after all our questions. He showed us the product, went in my bathroom, showed us how it would look and what was gonna come down. He was very productive. When the installers got here, I asked them to put on a mask. They went back to the van and got their masks. They kept it on the whole time they were around me. They cleaned up nicely. They did a marvelous job so I'm pleased. It looks like I got more room. I got the glass shower door and had them put two shelves in. I had one railing put in as well so when I get in, I have something to hold on to.
I love the tub. The first time I used it, I didn't wanna get out. I'm not as hesitant when I get ready to take my shower. When I would get ready to take a shower, I would either text my son or my grandkids. When I get out, I would have to let them know I'm out. Now they know nana doesn't have to step over the tub, just step right in. It makes a big difference. My grandkids came over and I got their approval. I have recommended Kohler walk-in bath. In fact, I sent a picture of the rep's card to one of my girlfriends already.

Kohler was easy to work with and the sales guy was very thorough. They had good guys came out and had the installation done the same day. I had several phone exchanges with them prior to them coming out. I wanted to make sure everything was the way they wanted to make the installation go smoothly. But Kohler could have done a better job with the dimensions for people like me. It was tough to get exact dimensions and placement of the plumbing and the electrical. I had to tear out the tub in the old bathroom and do some wiring. I talked to an installer before I did that stuff. If I hadn't done that, I could have easily put the electrical in the wrong spot. But the tub is well made. It's got good features. It runs a cycle to clean itself so you don't have anything. It is expensive, but it has a lifetime warranty, not just my lifetime. When I leave and sell the house, it goes with the house.

Go with Kohler's products. I'm in the building industry, so I have knowledge of their products. I use them often. I installed one in my own home, so I would recommend everything that they make. This particular product was something I purchased for my mother. I wanted to get the best product that there was on the market and Kohler fits that bill.
Kohler's rep was wonderful. My mother is 85. So, me explaining things to her wasn't the best idea. Having someone else come in and explaining all the process inside and out was phenomenal. She was easy to work with. We walked through everything together and she did one time with my mother directly to go over the product, all the features and benefits. And we upgraded a few things and ended up having a wonderful product installed.
The person who facilitated the scheduling and was very easy to work with. Called and told me they could get it done in a day. They showed up on time, and were very cordial people to work with.They were in and out in a day, which is phenomenal as well. We expected two days, but they were able to get it done in one day and everything works well. It looks phenomenal. Everything's on one level now and my mother is able to take a bath now and shower while sitting in the tub and do that all on her own. And she's a very independent person, so she still could maintain that with this product as well. She was amazed at everything that was available and that could be done. I know that she'll take advantage of everything. She'll get used to it and get more comfortable.

I purchased a walk-in tub from Kohler. I went online and did some research and found that they did the walk-in tubs. We have Kohler products in our house, so we called the number that was provided online. They were able to get a representative out to us in our area within 24 hours, and we were impressed with that. My husband was here when the gentlemen were installing the product, and he said they were very methodical in what they did. The process went very smoothly. The men were working constantly. It took them several hours. They also took out a cabinet because they had to get that out to get the tub in. The cabinet needed to be replaced. So, we had purchased a cabinet and they were able to slip that into place for us as well. As far as quality, it is what we would expect from a Kohler product and it's a good quality. It is working out well.

Kohler came and did a sit-down estimate. The presentation took about 45 minutes. The way that they explained it and promoted the product was interesting. The installation went longer than expected, but I feel like they did everything that they were supposed to do. The installer ran into issues inside of the wall that had to be dealt with one way or another. He has always informed me of what he found and the options, and then sometimes even gave me a suggestion as to the better choice. They did the whole walk-in bath with the showerhead and the things on the wall, the safety bars, and the soap tray. I liked everything about it. It was done well. It's high quality and is more expensive than some other things, but it's worth the price.

Kohler products are made in America, and Kohler is a name that I'm very familiar with. They do faucets, bath accessories, and kitchen accessories, and I knew that it was a good brand. The salesperson I dealt with was very helpful and knowledgeable, and he did not try to oversell. He told the truth that the product cost more because it's of better quality. He was very thorough. His name was Josh. I was there when the tub was installed. They showed us how to use it. They didn't lay the door right, though. That afternoon when my mom went to try to close the door, it didn't align properly. The installer came back the very next day and fixed it. Overall, they did a beautiful job and left my bathroom as it was before. They didn't damage my custom wallpaper and they helped me put my curtains back up.
My mom is not liking the walk-in bath so much because she feels claustrophobic in it. I'm trying to tell her that she could just use the shower function. She didn't have to fill the thing out with water and then she wouldn't feel claustrophobic. She will eventually start using it because she'll have to. I love it. I don't live with her, but I go over there and take a bubble bath with the jets and luxuriate for over an hour. Then when I did that, I showed her all the features again so she could see what a blessing it is. Overall, it has a good warranty. I feel confident that if I have any trouble, I can call on them to fix it.
Kohler's customer service is second to none. When we couldn't find out how to pay the first payment, I called the 800 number and they led me to my local Kohler person, and that person let me write to the financial person so that I could get everything lined up for payment. They transferred me. I didn't have to call any numbers, but they did give me the number to write down for future reference. The overall price was very expensive, but I know that it's a quality product. I pay more for Kohler bath fixtures. I have them in my house and if I were gonna decorate, that was the brand I would use because they have a history of quality.

I've had Kohler all my life. They have a good product, and they don't change. The installation was fine, but there was one mistake. When they cut the paneling, they had to finish the paneling where they cut it with a paint or lacquer because I had black mold come where it was cut. Also, my wife couldn't open and close the tub. They should have an extension for a handle to close the door. Other than that, the installers were very good. Also, my wife could get in and out of the tub.

The tub is a little expensive but anything that will be safe for my wife to take a bath in is what I'm gonna get. On install day, a man came in and did all the work. They did a real good job. Then, the electrician came in and set it up. My wife likes the tub and she gets in and sits down in it. Also, I use the jets and they're great. It's like a whirlpool bath. One set back is when you fill up the tub, it takes a lot of water. The heater works but if you use hot water in there, you're gonna empty your hot water tank. They told me to use the heat deal so that wouldn't happen and it heats up the tub.

The installation of our Kohler bath didn't go as well, but it wasn't because of their service. It was because my house was built in 1960 and things were not exactly what we thought they were when we opened the wall. But it wasn't anything that anybody could have known. It was pure concrete, so they had to chisel out a lot of stuff and they weren't expecting to do that. There also had been a couple of times where I've had to have them come and do services. They came right away and did the service and were very professional. I super love the tub and how fast it fills up. They required me to get a different water tank, which at first I was like, "Aah." But I've had one before where halfway through, it was not hot anymore. I didn't know that it was just the water tank. I got a tankless water heater and now it works well. I also like the way the jetted system cleans itself after. Most don't have that. I had a tub before and cleaning the tub is hard work.

We agreed that I will put a certain amount for me to have a payment of a certain amount and I am still waiting for it to be adjusted. It's been a month or so now and the rep keeps telling me that they're gonna adjust the figures, but they haven't yet. Other than that, the walk-in tub has been pretty good, so far.

The Kohler sales rep I worked with was good. He knew what to do, what to say, when to say it and was honest. The installers were great as well. They cleaned up after themselves. They were personable and were real people. It took them 12 hours to complete the tub. I like that the tub is easy to clean, too. Just spray it and then rinse.

Everything Kohler did was amazing. The girl who came to interview me was fantastic. She came with a board and a valise, and she went to our existing bathtub and showed us how it would come. We concluded an agreement and I signed the order. I wasn't here when they put it in. The install took two days. The guys locked themselves out by mistake one day, and they had to come back as a result. The front door closed on them and by that time, they got locked out. My daughter was here and they gave her a demo of the product. Overall, they did an amazing job of putting it in, following up, and getting all the permits. When I got here to Florida, there were one or two things that had to be adjusted. I called the rep. They came and adjusted it the following day. They were superb. As far as the tub, the two different kinds of jets are excellent. I couldn't get out of the bathtub anymore, so this is a lifesaver and it's great.

The installation of our Kohler Walk-in Bath was okay. I had to call them back three times, though. The first time, the door wouldn't stay closed. The second time was, they had a hole in my vinyl in the floor. I forget what the third one was. But it's good now. I like that we don't have to worry about stepping over the tub to get in there. My wife is not able to do that.

The Kohler sales rep was nice and he did a good job. He didn't push.. He just said, "Whatever it takes." It was one of those things where it was easy. It wasn't a huge sales pitch. It was ready in three days and it was perfect. The installers were great. They kept to themselves. They went into the bathroom, did their thing, took their lunch, came back, did their thing, and pretty soon, they were gone. It's beautiful. My favorite feature is the really tall walls. 'Cause I took all of the whole sheet and put it all the way up on my walls and I love that. They also have the seamless tile and the push-in cabinet so that it doesn't take up extra room in the shower, and also the handrails.

When we lived in California, we got the Kohler walk-in tub for my son who's disabled and we absolutely loved it. They did everything for us. It was installed in one weekend. They upgraded the electrical panel. It was a wonderful experience. Fast forward, a year and a half, and we lost our home and we moved to Illinois and we wanted to get the walk-in tub. We had to save up for that. The shower pan was falling apart. So we ended up getting a whole new shower unit and with the rain shower head. It was absolutely wonderful. It was seamless from the salesperson coming out, and giving us a quote, to the crew coming and doing the installation. I tell everybody how great the Kohler product is and that's why we went with them the second time because of the reputation. It's a little bit more in price, but it's worth it.

Kohler's got a very good name, and we like that they were able to get the job done in a day. As far as that, they offered a quality product that we would have a lifetime warranty with. So, that took that level of having to worry about if something quit working. The way the handles and the door were positioned and the fact that they could custom build it to fit in my mother's particular area and didn't have to destroy her bathroom were a biggie there, too. Also, it was easy for her to operate and understand. The installation was very quick. They told us when they were gonna be out. They covered the floors. It was immaculate. When they got through, you could never tell that the tub had not even been there.
My mother is from Japan. My dad was trying to help her with some of the cultural things. So she had a traditional Japanese bathtub, which means that the tub was in the floor. As she has aged, we needed to find another option for her. Kohler came out and they gave us the brochures. She's hitting the age where now she's having to have more help. We liked where the spray handle was instead of having to reach all the way across the tub to get to it. It was on the side where we needed it to be. We like that the tub had different jets and bubbles. That helps with circulation. There are just four little buttons that she has to push. It's really simple but you can move the jets accordingly.
It was simplicity for her that there wasn't so much stuff on the tub that it was overwhelming, and she was able to adapt going from the tub that she was in to one that had a few buttons. She could get relief from the pain in which she was suffering from. The ability to open the door, and not having a high step trying to get into it, was a biggie. The door opens up towards her, and she can get in and it's not a high step up that she has to step into. So, she's able to lift her leg just enough to get in there. The narrowness worked for us being able to help her. She enjoys that spray handle. She loves being able to use it on certain areas of her body instead of just having to do the tub. She also likes it when she just needs a quick rinse. She's been able to turn on the different types of bubbles and jets according to what her physical needs are at that time. Kohler did a bang-up job. Kohler stands alone on its own reputation and the people they hire to represent them.

Installation was very efficient. The installers came out, blew the pine needles off of the front of my yard, and they were very quick and clean. They did the electrical and plumbing without any issues. Everything went smoothly, and our walk-in tub is pleasant to use. I like that it has a heated seat, and the tub fills up as well as empties quickly.

The sales rep was very good, and installation was all right. The two installers took the old tub out and put the new one in. They did it in one day. However, there's a crack in the tub, so I called the company that installed it. They're supposed to call me again and schedule an appointment so they can come and see. Besides that, we had Kohler for years in another house that I had, and I'm good with the brand.

Kohler has a good reputation. The sales visit was great. It was an hour and a half long. The rep took pictures, walked through my condo, and showed me the full price list. There was nothing surprising. The installation took two days because I live in a condo. Normally, the installers are in and out one day. They had to cut out the part of my door to my bathroom. They were professional. Luckily, I live near a Home Depot and they would just run out there if they needed something. The product is really great. It's very relaxing. It's just Kohler is marketing it to the wrong age group. They're marketing it to 80 years old and plus. When you put on the jets and the whirlpool, that thing is so powerful. It would knock my mother right out of the bathtub. I think they should mark it to 40 to 65. It's so powerful, which is great for me because I'm 50.
They said I was the youngest person they've ever seen get one. They were like, "It is super duper powerful." It doesn't have to be because of the settings. It is a high-class professional whirlpool. Also, it's got a heated seat. So, it's got everything. The fill-up time and drain time are fast. Even though it's a condo, I'm blessed with good water pressure and it drains really quickly. If you can afford it, I'd recommend Kohler.

I've always known Kohler was a good product. They came to our house, and the presentation went very well. The salesman was knowledgeable and we knew what we wanted. So, it wasn't that big of a deal. I had a good experience. The installation also went very well. The guys ran into some problems due to the size of the door. They had to take the door frame out, which wasn't expected, but they put it back together the way it needed to be. They went over all the features, showed us how to use it, and gave us an instruction sheet. They checked out the plumbing to make sure it was compatible and made sure we didn't need anything else. As far as the price, you get what you pay for. We could have gotten a lot cheaper, but we're happy with what we got. We got a walk-in tub and we added the shower attachment. The water jets are my favorite.

I was very happy with KOHLER. Their sales rep was was very nice and he explained everything. Then, the guys who installed our walk-in bath were very clean. They first came out and brought their tools, then they did their work. And the next day, they came and installed the bath. So the installation took two days and so far, we are very pleased with their work. But I called them once for a little bit of caulking missing. Other than that, the bath works nicely and it helps my wife very much. She doesn't have to go over her steps. She goes right through then she can sit in it and she gets the bubbles. It's very expensive but it's a quality tub.

Everything was amazing with KOHLER, from the dude who came to the house to get everything set up to the installation guy. My husband was in the hospital at the time and he even came to the hospital so we could sign the documents. So they made it super easy for us. The installation was a little dusty, but other than that, he did a really good job. We got the basic walk-in bath, so there's not a lot to it. But it really helped with my husband being home and it makes him a little self-sufficient. I don't have to watch him, he's safe, and we just love it. The kids love it, too. I also like that it was able to convert to a shower so we don't have to use it as a tub all the time.

KOHLER's sales rep was very informative and the installation work was very good. I like the convenience of sitting and getting a bath without having to fall in a tub. I can get in my bath without worrying and I don't have to have anybody close by in case I fall. So the walk-in sort of gave me a little bit of freedom. I also like the jets.

I called KOHLER and they called me back. Then, a woman showed up and gave me the prices of their walk-in tubs. She also showed us the pictures and my brother picked out which one he wanted. The installation was awesome. The workers were the nicest people I've ever met and they finished in one day. My brother loves the tub and he won't let me use it. I want one now, but they're expensive.

You are required to use their well trained professional installer. Wish I could leave a picture of my bath install. It is horrible looking! Everything was left dirty with filthy handprints on doors and walls. Panels installed crooked. Caulking around panels on tub are ugly nasty looking. Sales person and material talk about and show pictures of a professional installation left clean and ready to use the same day. Not true! Was told to let set 24 hours before using and will need a lot of cleaning before use. Please help us right this wrong. My wife worked hard and saved her money to make this purchase. It has been such a disappoint!

Other than having to wait a while to get the item installed, we're happy with Kohler’s product. There were issues that I had with how it was gonna get into the house and initially, we thought we weren't gonna be able to get the tub because we weren't sure if it was gonna fit through our doorway. The installers were talking about getting it installed through a window and using a crane. I was so worried about that. But when I called back, they said they were able to get a lift crane that could come into the house and they could put the tub on top of it and raise it to our second level. We have a second level where you can oversee the downstairs area, and it worked out perfectly. Fitting it through the doorway into the bathroom, they removed the door frame, which was fine. At least they were able to get it through the doorway.
I've had people look into wanting to purchase walk-in tubs before, and they've always been told it won't fit. It depends on which company you deal with because I know this other person whose doorway was probably just the same size as mine, and they were told they wouldn't fit through their doorway in the bathroom. And ours went through. My husband and I are in our 60s and 70s, and it's nice to be able to have the tub with the jets like a spa that we used to have out in the backyard, but you can't get in and out of it at our age if you have it outside. So this is just like having the same thing but inside the house. So that works out perfectly for us and we're happy with it. We love it. I've gotten a lot of things from Kohler before like their faucets, sinks and toilets. I was familiar with the Kohler brand and I didn't wanna try and use another company when I knew that Kohler has an excellent reputation.

Kohler's sales agent came to my house and showed me all the options. The installers were in my house for three days because the tub was a custom fit. They were respectful and clean. I had to have the door replaced. They came in the next day and replaced it, good as gold. My dad who's in a wheelchair sits in the tub and does everything he needs to do himself without help. He loves it. He enjoys the independence. The price surprised me and others but at the end of the day, I put a lot of money in that bathroom even before I put that Kohler bathtub in it. I've already told a few people to purchase the tub if they needed something like that.

Kohler has been around for 100 years. I would recommend it to anyone. The sales person was very nice. She sold her product very well. The young man that came in was very nice. The installers took the molding off the door. They put it back up when it was finished. They did a very good job. First day when they left, I noticed that the tub was not leveled. I called them. They were back the next day. And within two days, it was fixed to our satisfaction. We just had the bar put up on top for the shower. I love the walk-in bath. I enjoy it. I sit on it. The jets are there. The seat is heated. When I sit in there, it's relaxing. My joints hurt. So, it helps a bit.

I started working with the sales rep. He came to the house, was very thorough with how the walk-in tub would be set up and what our advantages and disadvantages were, how it would affect our concerns. We had certain concerns about our safety and the rep addressed those. He went upstairs, measured everything, told us pros and cons, the pricing, and we went forward. The installation took a couple of days. The installers were in the house. They were also very thorough, told us everything they were doing, and left us with all the brochures and information cards as far as if we needed further information, who to contact, and everything has been fine. We love it. It's everything that we thought it would be.

I had a bathroom to renovate. I'm getting old so I looked into walk-in tubs. I'm familiar with Kohler products. I researched it and put it in. The group that did the installation was marvelous. They came in and told me what they were gonna do. They did it orderly, neatly, and quickly. They showed that the tub was operational when they left. Everything was hunky dory. The tub has grab bars and they look perfectly unintimidating to me. The low step is nice. I look forward to using it. I just finished the renovation of the bathroom today. In addition to doing the tub, I put in new floor, vanity, and marble wall. I the tub will be my favorite feature.

The sales rep was a very professional businessman. He was very knowledgeable on the product, and able to answer all of our questions. He looked at the area where we were going to have the walk-in bath installed and then, the installers came in. They kept their work area tidy and they knew what they were doing. You could tell they've done it many times and they were in and out in one day. It was a wonderful experience.
The quality of the Kohler walk-in tub is above and beyond and way better than I ever imagined. I personally enjoy the relaxation of the hot bubble tub and with the appearance of the product, I'm very proud to show it to everybody. Every one of them wishes they had one. It changed their opinion of what a walk-in tub might look like. Some people have it in their mind as being something institutional-looking. This is more spa-looking. It was not the cheapest product that we looked at, but by far had the best salesmanship and the best overall feeling.

Kohler Walk-In Bath's rep was very articulate and accommodating. The only thing that I experienced in terms of sticker shock was when I heard what the price would be. But it didn't seem like there was any negotiating room for that, so we went along with it. Kohler did a good job. Nothing leaks. Everything works. They were very coordinated. There were three of them, and they looked like they knew what they were doing. They did it in one day. They arrived 8:30 in the morning and left at six o'clock. The only thing that we expected, which we were told about ahead of time, was that depending on our home and how wide our stairs happen to be, they may hit a few spots in the walls and ding the paper, which is what happened. I like that there's a heated back, and my wife also likes the bubbles feature for the calves and feet.

I've always been familiar with the Kohler brand just being a consumer. When I went to get my walk-in tub, I got my information on that through the internet. The salesperson was very good. We had a very positive experience with her. She could answer every question. The installation team was good. I ended up with somebody who doesn't usually do installations. He was a manager, but he came out and did it for us, and he did a really nice job. The installation took a while. He was at my house for five days. The reason it took so long was because the person that was helping him had to leave and do something else and then come back, and sometimes he was by himself. I had the time, so it wasn't a problem.
As far as the product, I really like the jets that go along my lower back. My daily routine is about the same but when I use it, I usually feel relief, and my knee and my back feel better. It's expensive though. I wish the price on those could come down for people because I know people who need them and could never ever afford them. I wish I could give one to my sister, but I can't. Other than that, the tub has an excellent warranty.

I went on the internet, checked out walk-in bathtubs and there were three of them that came up. The next day, the KOHLER guy called me and came out. I liked the presentation. KOHLER has always been a good product. So, I went with them. The installers had to tear up the fiberglass tub that I had and put in the new one. It was two guys, two days. They did a nice job. I was happy with them.

The prices were comparable with everybody else's, but Kohler Walk-In Bath was so fast. They were done the next day, and were accurate. They stripped out everything, all new piping, new subfloor. And I couldn't rave enough for their workmanship. They were all great and did a great job. They were very polite, hard-working and right on the spot. My husband is a lot safer in the walk-in bath.

It was a lot more expensive than I had expected, but the quality is top-of-the-line. It works well. It's a really great experience for me.

The sales rep was very polite and open, and the customer service was excellent. They were on top of it, gave me updates on everything I needed to know, and worked with me really well. I found Kohler through ConsumerAffairs. They gave me references and while the price is a little higher, I get the service that I need. Also, the walk-in tub is very good, and I love it. It definitely helps with my back and the legs from swelling as much. One of my favorite things is the heater for the back.

Kohler's rep explained the whole structure of the tub. It made a big difference in my husband's decision because he knew the quality he was buying and that is what we bought. We bought for quality and that made a difference with the structure of it behind the scenes. The install day was really phenomenal. We had a guy named Scott and he was amazing. He worked by himself and he did a good job. He had his own truck and we have an acre and a half. It made it really easy and functional for him to pull it in here and work right out of his truck. It worked real well for us.
I really love the tub. We looked at other tubs too and this one is better constructed. We don't take a bath every day but we know that at the end of a long day when we have a lot of aches and pains, we can get in that tub and it is amazing. We are like renewed people. My only thing now is my door doesn't work and I'm waiting for them to replace it, which I'm not happy about. But they're replacing it and they're gonna have the door on Thursday. They're taking care of the things we needed them to take care of so far.

The installers came early. They came when we were expecting them to, and they worked all day, then they came back the next day until it was done. They were quite reasonable. They didn't make too much of a mess, and they cleaned up after themselves, made sure that the item worked okay, and showed us how it worked. They were very polite and very professional, and our experience with the Kohler walk-in tub has been very nice. Mostly, my wife uses it, but I use it from time to time too. We enjoy using it. We like the jets and the tub has bubbles. That's the part we enjoy the most. We both like that the tub is roomy as well. We can sit down and have a bath, and the sides of the tub get warm, so when we lean back, we don't get cold. That's great. The filling and draining times are also quite good. The water drains out real fast, and while I'd love the tub to fill a little faster, I don't think that it makes that much difference.

The rep was super friendly. But during installation day, there was a little confusion about what was happening. They didn't get the message that they were supposed to call me before they came because we're not living in the house at the moment. So they wouldn't start until I got there. That was a bit of a hiccup in the beginning but then we worked through it and it was no big deal. They removed the old tub and put the new one in. They did excellent work.

The installers showed up when they said they would and were finished in three and a half hours. It was fast. They had to take out the old tub and shower head. For the wiring, they had to run a little bit through a ceiling that's finished. I was worried about that but they didn't have to go through the ceiling. The tub is exactly what I wanted. I'm glad I did it. Soaking in the tub is a big help for my back and knees. It's not cheap but it's an upgrade. It has the grab bars, some jets, a whirlpool function, a jet function, a heated seat, and a heated water. There's a button you can hit and it will warm up your water again. The tub has everything I could need.

The lady that came in was extremely helpful, pleasant, and informative. The installation team worked with us and showed us everything that was going on. They asked us questions about how tall we were for the shower height. They were excellent. Kohler is expensive for us, but getting in and out of the bath is 500% better than it was before. We like the different jets that the tub has. We don't have to fill up the tub for the jets. It's great for the shower. My wife uses the shower a lot. Sometimes, after the shower, she'll fill the tub up and take a nice massage. We've had some leg and back problems, and the tub has helped that to some degree.

The sales rep was personable. He was very kind and thorough. But there were several delays with the electrician. The installers couldn't do anything until he did his job. The installation was interesting because I work nights, and so I have to sleep from 2:00 PM. I had to sleep seven feet away from where the techs were installing my tub. They did an excellent job. It was not a quiet process but we worked it out.
The installers gave me the option of finishing the next day and I said no. I didn't want another day of being disrupted because I knew I needed the next day on my own. So, they powered through and I left for work that night. I had to be at work at 11:00 and I left my house on time and they were done and out of here. The quality of work is great. My bathroom looks just updated and like it's out of a magazine. I also have the shower add-on. I've used every facet of it and the wand. My favorite thing about the tub is the hydro control on my feet. I'm really happy using the tub. It's very stimulating and relaxing.

There was just one man who did the installation and it looked like he needed help. It took several days and then, Kohler had to have somebody come for the electrical and he had to take the door off and make some holes in the wall. Someone else had to come and fix all of that and clean it. But the quality of the walk-in bath has been good so far. I like the jets but it gets a little cold sitting there waiting for the tub to fill up. I've got a lady that rents from me and she won't use it at all. It's too cold for her to sit in there. She just uses the shower wand and gets in and out.

The rep explained the Kohler very well and he answered questions. The two installers were friendly and they explained what they were gonna do. They put cloth down and put more coverings on their shoes. They were very careful about not making anything dirty. Plus, they took the old tub out of the shower. One installer made a little mistake and he was upset with himself. He had cut a little short around where the shower was gonna go in. He showed it to us, and quickly gathered up the material he needed to finish the job.
I really like the finished product. We like that we have a place where we can sit and have a Jacuzzi type thing for our backs and our feet other than just a shower. We also like the idea of the bubbles. I really like it on my feet and my legs. I also like the heat on my back. I also like that the tub dries itself. After I get out and drain it, I hear the air come on to make sure the nozzles are dry. I also have the shower now and if I choose to, I can just get a shower rather than fill the tub up. We're happy with the Kohler. My children said, "Oh, you could have got it for cheaper." We haven't even looked into what anything else would have been because we're very satisfied with the product.

It was awesome with Kohler. I loved every minute of my experience with them. The sales rep was long-winded but was very knowledgeable. For the installation, I couldn't ask for a better team. The guy had texted me and said he would be by himself. But he picked up a trainee on his way that morning. He was very knowledgeable of the whole setup and walked me through everything as he was doing it. I like the look of the overall product. My husband likes the leg jet. He deals a lot with leg cramps and that have lessened.

The Kohler bath that I got was from my parents and because I'm happy with the quality of the Kohler products that I've had over the years, I trust them as a brand. When I did my initial internet search, I found their tub, and because of the quality that I've experienced with them here before, I went ahead and trusted them. The sales guy was very slick and knowledgeable. He was very good. He clearly knew what he was doing and knew how to make a sale. But the tub was a little bit bigger or the sales guy didn't measure one part the way the install guys would do it. So it made it a little bit difficult for the installers to get the tub in. But it worked out okay. I'm happy with it because it keeps my parents safe. They like it. So I'm good with it.
I've told plenty of people that I was super happy with the product and the whole process. The sales guy told me that they would have four to six weeks turnaround, but in reality, it would be three to five weeks. But when the gal from their office called, she said it would be six to eight weeks. I expressed concern over the delay given that my mother was insisting on taking a bath and falling. Kohler was able to go ahead and bump them up in the schedule because of there was an actual need to get this in quickly. So they got it in in a week.

The presentation was pretty lengthy. The Kohler rep had a book and he went through everything. It took almost an hour for the presentation. But I liked the presentation and I really liked the product. The rep was very, very nice. He was very thoughtful. He was really good to work with. Kohler said that they have two prices. They have a price if you were to get the tub right after the presentation. You get so much more off of it. But if you wait till the next day, you could be up $2,000. I had to think about it for a little while and figure out how to work it into my budget, and if I could get back with him. But he let me have the price because I bought it within 24 hours. So I got $2,000 off the price of the tub. Then he came out the next morning and I signed the papers.
The installation took a full day. I had a walk-in shower and it had a type of material they could work with to put the tub in. So they didn't have to do a whole lot of remodeling. They took the door off to get the tub in and then they put everything back on and finished it off. Kohler was very, very expensive. But I like the tub. I couldn't use it for two days, but that was all right. When I used it, I got the water too hot. I didn't know that the water comes out really hot with those tubs. I felt really good, but it was hot outside and the bathroom was steamy. Since then, I just use cooler water in it. I don't have it so hot.
I like the heated seat and the whirlpools. I have a handheld shower thing. But I would have had them put up a little shield in half of it, so I wouldn't get water. Because I have to sit down on the seat and use it as a shower, so I don't get my floor wet. I can understand why they say not to put bubble bath in it because it really bubbles up without a bubble bath. Other than that, it kind of relaxed your muscles. One thing about this tub is that it empties very fast. In less than two minutes, all the water is completely out. So you don't have a chance to really get cold. You can start drying off with the tub before you get out of the tub and by the time all the water is gone, you can step out. That's nice. I like that.

The Kohler rep that came out and talked to me assured me that the doors were not a problem. In fact, they improved the style of the door from other people's products, making it wider and easier to get in and out of. I have two problems right now as well as hip and feet problems. I've got two broke feet. So I need all the convenience I could get. I love that I can shower in the tub. I didn't want the expense of the shower.
I have used the tub part three times and the last time, I put it on a high jet because we were emptying out my attic and I did a lot. I spent all day on my feet, reaching and walking. So that night, I soaked in the tub and the next morning, I was great. I'm very impressed with tub's ability to help me at this point in my life. The quality seems to be really good. But when my housekeeper was cleaning the door to the tub, the bracket on one of the silver things came loose. I can't get it to stay on now. So I'm gonna have to contact somebody and tell them.

The salesperson who came out was a very congenial gentleman. He was very legitimate and professional. I had already done a lot of research on KOHLER and he supported what I already know and answered questions my wife and I were comfortable in asking before we committed to it. The price was more than we had wanted to spend on a tub, but comparable to the others that I reviewed, ours was a good price. The installation team surprised us because we had committed to the sale and within a week, they had arrived at our door to tear out the old unit and reinstall the new one. They put down pads and paper to make sure that they did not dirty our wooden floors. It was a long job, longer than we thought they were willing to stay that day, but they were able to complete it in one day. It made it easy for us because we didn't have intruders in our home on the second day.
The unit has a whirlpool and heated seat along with the airflow. It gives a massage benefit at three different levels that really has helped us out or, at least, my needs for lower back sciatic as well as arthritis conditions. We noticed upon about three weeks of use that one of the small flanges that allow the water to flow out came loose. I simply press it back into the hole and I heard a click into space. I called KOHLER just to make sure that it was on record that I had that problem in case it continued to pop out. They weren't satisfied with my indication that I felt I had done what was necessary. They reinforced that they would rather have someone come out and look at the unit to make sure that that was correctly installed.
They sent a dear gentleman from Philadelphia, which is an hour and a half from our location. Kenny went beyond the call of duty because he not only took the precautions in his arrival, he was able to identify the issue we had and made sure a new one would be more resilient to future use. He tested the other five plugs that were in that immediate area, plus the other four that were in the front and found that there was one more that was loose and ready to release. He was able to exchange that. Then, he went so far as to fill the tub to see if by chance, whenever it released the pressure on that little valve, it would discharge the second time that it was shooting out water.
He brought it to my attention that the release valve that is in the KOHLER was not necessarily staying where it needed to. The pressure would pull the drain stopper down rather than maintain it, where it would keep it open. He disassembled the back unit, exposed the new part that he had on the vehicle, replaced the spring in that unit, disassembled, replaced it, and then put it back and re-caulk it. Once again, he filled up the tub to make sure that whenever he released the water, it maintained staying open rather than allowing it to shut without my having to be vigilant and standing there watching it go down the drain. It was a good experience.

KOHLER's sales, marketing, and product are excellent. They came in, they did their job and did it fast, and I'm very happy. They put in my walk-in bath tub but I had a sewer backup problem. I had to replace the sewer line because I would have been freezing to death before the thing drained. Other than that, the tub's price was on the high side but so far, I really like that handheld shower wand. That's really cool. I also like the whole package. Sitting in it and letting the bubbles do their thing is wonderful.

The sales rep with Kohler was awesome. He explained everything to us. He sat down and took his time. My husband and I are both veterans, so he ended up getting us one that was in stock. That helped us out on the price that we wanted to pay. It was more than we thought, but not too much more. The sales rep was very informative and he didn't push. The installation was really efficient and the contractor was very helpful. The therapeutics of the tub have been absolutely phenomenal for my mother who is 82. They work on her feet and she loves the foot massager. The first night after she got to use it, she said, "I slept all the way through the night and didn't have to get up and pee for the first time in over 20 years." She also has more energy during the day to do stuff as well. My experience with Kohler has been absolutely wonderful. The price was high but with the lifetime warranty on everything, I was able to mentally get past it. Also, getting the financing was absolutely key for me.

Everybody was nice. The initial visit, the rep was down to earth, showed us the choices. And it was something we liked. Everything that Kohler Walk-In Bath said they would do, they on top did it. They were on time, did what they were supposed to do throughout the day. Once they finished, they cleaned up. We started my mother's bathroom first, because hers was the most important. It took a week. Because the door, we had to wait. It was on a Friday, so we had to wait until whenever they came. It was no more than seven days, and it could have been less than that. The other bathroom, they did that in three days.
My mom loves the walk-in bath. Because my mother is elderly, Kohler made her bathroom perfect for her where she could sit down and shower. It's like a whole new world for her. Because she has been wanting it in that bathroom, we were able to accommodate it, and Kohler made it even better for her. Because that space that she has is a very small space. It's like she won a million dollars.
In the main bathroom, which is my mother's bathroom, it's a small shower with an adjustable showerhead where you can slide it up and down, unhook it to bring it to you. She also has the bar. When she would first walk in, she would hold onto it to get into the bathroom. She has a seat to sit down, and there's an extra bar to the side of that. And she has see through, beautiful, grayish-white colored glass doors. And I like the part that the door that originally was supposed to be installed didn't fit the size of the door that they originally thought it would fit, so they did a custom glass door to make it fit. The guys came out the next day and measured, and shoot. Within a couple of days, they had the door in, and it was beautiful.
My mom has two showerheads, but she's able to adjust whichever she prefers to use. She likes the one where she's able to take it off and put it to her. But she does have one that's above it. But the second bathroom, it has the rain shower head. Also, we got the insert for adding soap where she's able to put her soap in with other shower stuff that she will use for storage purposes.
One of my brothers who was not home to be able to experience the installation came home from California, and his main thing was, "That bathroom looks too small for mama." I said, "No, it's perfect for mom. It's just enough space. She doesn't need all that extra stuff." When he got in there, he said, "There's a bunch of room in here." I said, "Told you." We were all pleased, especially my mother. We always buy Kohler now. We need to call again because we wanted to get a price on adding another seat to the other bathroom.

The Kohler salesperson was very nice. She came to our house and explained everything about the walk-in bath. She checked our bathroom and checked everything in there to see if everything would fit properly. She knew that her workman could accommodate what we had. We waited three weeks before the installation. Once they were there, it took them a day and a half. They did a very thorough job and very good job of installing and explaining exactly everything they had to do and how they did it. They did it beautifully. Everything's fine with the tub. It's very nice and works extremely well. If I had it to do over again, I'd do the same thing.

My experience with Kohler was marvelous and just what I thought it would be. The sales rep explained everything and walked us through it. He was here for at least an hour talking about everything -- how it works and all the benefits of it. Then, their installation people took care of everything. The walk-in bath is the whole package. It's a little slippery, though, which is the only thing my wife says is negative about it. Other than that, it was hard to get in and out of our old tub as we've gotten older and the Kohler makes it so much easier now.

The Kohler sales rep was a nice guy and he knew what he was doing. He was very helpful in helping me think the project through and he nailed it. The installers were all wonderful as well. But they had supply problem issues. The sales rep said they'd have the installation done in a day or two, which was true, but it took 10 days. We'd make appointments and they had to cancel them because the products weren't there. So, it was a little chaotic in terms of scheduling. Other than that, they also did a shower for me and so far, I'm very pleased with both the walk-in tub and the shower.

The Kohler salesman told me to look at what they have and I saw that Kohler’s jets have been strategically placed. I control the heat and the jets, and I can leave the bubbles off if I want to. With being so busy, I haven't gotten in the walk-in bath that much but it was an incredible experience. I felt like a million bucks when I got up.
The installers were excellent and engendered our confidence. We knew what they were doing and why. They ran into a little problem, so they had to cut out a piece of wall in my lower bathroom and also in the bathroom that the walk-in tub was installed in. However, that was fine because I was gonna paint the downstairs bathroom anyway. But the way they patched it up, all I would have had to do is get the old paint in and go over it. It would have been fine. Before they left, they were very careful to explain everything to me. So when I got in it, everything worked like it was supposed to, and I used the little showerhead to rinse out my hair, and it was just great. It was a wonderful experience.

My grandmother had a stroke and everything had to come together extremely quickly. I received a call from two other managers and somebody else at the factory letting me know they put together everything. The installation manager called me and asked, “When is the date you need it done?” I explained to her again and she said, “Yeah. We'll get it done before that date. We're actually showing up on Monday, and it will be done by Tuesday.” Everything was done and my grandmother likes it. It's made life easier. Kohler did great.

Andrew sat at the kitchen table and explained everything to us. He was a heck of a good salesman. When the installers came, they were polite and dressed nice. They were here in the morning and they left in the afternoon, and everything was done. When my wife and I walked in the bathroom, it was spotless. It was just like when they came.

The salesperson was very thorough and seemed to cover everything. The installation was great. The installers were very knowledgeable and they did everything. The quality of the tub is pretty good. But it's harder to get in than I thought it would be. It's hard to get around the door. Other than that, everything's fine.

I researched the best walk-in tubs, read the comparisons, and made my choices. I've been in this home for 30 years and I've changed my toilets and things like that and I find that the Kohler is the most efficient. I decided to try them for the walk-in tub after I did my research. Their salesperson was very pleasant and very nice. He was able to answer all my questions.
One thing that really struck me after I signed the contract was he took a lot of pictures to give to the company. They have measured the opening for where the tub is going. After my price was quoted to me, the salesperson had to call, give some measurements on the phone, and he had to inspect my circuit breaker box. They tried to be very inclusive of everything to make sure that the unit would properly function. They didn't sell me a tub and say, “Okay. This is it.” They told me that there are certain criteria that my home needs to meet. My electrical box had to have enough room. My husband and I planned and we made sure that this box had enough room for expansion. I didn't have to then have the cost of an electrician added on to everything else to make sure that my electrical would support what I was getting.
The installer was right upfront and said, “I'm not going to tell you you're going to have it done in a day. My job would be two days, possibly three.” It was two days, but they were here and they worked all day. They were two men and they were very kind and cordial. They tried to make sure that none of the demolitions would get into the rest of the house. They put in a tarp all the area that they would be walking on so that they wouldn't walk on the bare floors or any rugs. On the first night, they cleaned up before they left. On the second night, they didn't leave any junk. I was impressed.
I got all the bells and whistles for the walk-in tub. It’s primarily for my mother. She's 93 and I wanted her to have comfort. When you get in a tub, you’re laid back and the tub is cold. With the Kohler one, we got the little element in there that warms up the back. It has jets that will do the massage on the back, calves, and feet. There are four levels of jets in there. It also has bubbles, which just give you bubbles and a very gentle aeration of the water. This tub also has three speeds. Also, the heat temperature on the back has three temperatures. It's the same thing with the bubbles.
It has a shower hand and it comes all the way over. It also has a larger opening than most walk-in tubs and a shorter step. This one here is just under three inches and it's easy to get in and out. It's easy for me to tend to my mother. When the investment was made, it was made on many things. It looked like it was going to be something that could be a little spa thing. You can get a two-seater but that was cost-prohibitive for me. One seat is fine. I find that this tub fills up just as fast as the regular garden tub and it drains in less than three minutes, which is faster than my garden tub.
My mother gets in the walk-in tub probably four times a week and she loves it. She wished she had done this when my dad was alive because it would have been great therapy for his back. This tub gives my mom a lot of pleasure. She can soak in it. With the old bathtub, I had to put a side rail on it and it was hard for her to get up to pull herself up and get out or get in. When she would get in, she would fall in. With this Kohler one, she just walks in and sits down, and it fills up. The other nice thing is compared to the garden tub where you can't turn any of the jets or anything on it until the water is above the very top bubble or jet, the Kohler one we can turn it on as long as there's water over the bottom jets. This way, my mom can start feeling the therapy on her body while the tub is filling.
All in all, Kohler's customer service is excellent. The installers ended up having to take the toilet out and having to reinstall it. When they put the toilet back in, they didn't put a new seal in, which most plumbers will do. It isn't necessary and I understand that. But I kept smelling an odor. I texted the project manager and he called within five minutes and said, “Somebody will be out there by Saturday.” He called me after hours last night to tell me somebody would be here this morning to put in a new toilet.

Everything I expected just very very expensive. Cost twenty two thousand dollars plus. Very competent salesperson and very knowledgeable about the equipment, hardware, and the installation. 2nd bid was quite a bit cheaper but the quality is a question. Looking for another bid.

The installation of our Kohler walk-in tub was efficient. The guys that installed were great. I love the tub. It's convenient to use. It's easy to get in and out of, and it empties quickly. The only thing that I don't like about it is that our water heater is not big enough to fill it. Eventually, we're gonna have to get a bigger water heater.

KOHLER's sales rep was awesome and the installers did a great job. We had a cast iron tub from the '70s, so they had to cut it in half to get it out of the house. Our house is 113 years old and it was interesting to watch them progress with the installation. They were waiting for different pieces, and at the time, we were also remodeling. Since we did this big installation, we might as well just remodel the bathroom too. The products that they needed to order came in at about the same time so, things worked out really well because we had things on order. We've enjoyed everything about our experience from the salesperson, Linda, all the way up to the project manager, to the installation, and to the people checking to make sure that we like everything on it and that we are pretty satisfied.
On my first bath right after the waiting period for everything to settle, I spent over an hour in the shower shield. My husband just got his first bath and his was a little over a half hour. So, I love it. We also love that it keeps the water hot when it goes on. The bubbles and jets are awesome. Plus, I like the handheld shower because when I'm taking a bath, I can just shampoo and rinse my hair right there. I don't have to worry about taking in that shower too. And the showerhead is one of the rain showerheads, which I'm not quite used to yet, but because both my husband and I have long hair, that's the one we're getting used to a little bit more. Also, I've been putting this remodel on Facebook because a lot of our friends have been watching the bath, walk-in, shower, and the remodel. They wanted me to tell them about this bathtub and a lot of people are asking me questions about it.

I have been wanting to get back in the bathtub again for what seems like forever because I couldn't get in and out of a regular bathtub. I'm 71 years old and to be able to go into a hot bathtub, really makes me feel better. Kohler has got a very good reputation and I happened to come across their telephone number that was advertised on TV. I called the number to find out how much it would cost me to get a walk-in bath put in.
I had a very good experience. The man knew what he was talking about. I had some past history with construction and home repairs, so I pretty much knew a good deal about that. The man was very knowledgeable and direct. He worked with me on trying to get it around where I could afford it. He was very nice. The installation went very well. I was shocked the men put down a drop cloth on the floor so that when they were walking in and out, it wasn't gonna mess up the floor. They went in and started to work, and kept at it through the whole afternoon. It didn't take them nearly a day to put in the tub. The installer told me about the different steps he was taking. Before I knew it, it was done. I like being able to sit down in the tub and have a hot bath. I can step back at it. I enjoyed the shower part too. Call Kohler and work with them if a walk-in tub or a shower is what you wanna put in. They're very good at what they do.

The rep explained everything very clearly and answered all the questions I had. The crew that came to do the installation was very professional. I had a good working relationship with them to solve any problems that came up. I have some elderly people living in my household that need a walk-in tub and the Kohler does everything it's supposed to do. We're enjoying it. We like that the spray head is over closer to the walk-in side rather than on the far side so you don't have to reach across with the closer hand. I recommend that you look at the Kohler for your use. I had a good experience with them.

I was very happy with the presentation that the Kohler rep made. He was very nice. He came in, seemed to be very knowledgeable and everything was fine. The installers were very nice. They were professional. They were neat and they cared about anything that they touched. They took care of everything here. My wife is very happy with the walk-in bathtub. She likes it very much. I'm a shower person myself, so it doesn't really matter to me, but I've taken one or two baths with it and it is very comfortable.

The installers were wonderful. I appreciated that they listened to my preferences. One of them said he was the one who created the fixtures because they understood that if I didn't get the fixtures, I wouldn't get the tub. They demonstrated the tub well and they were very good with their cleanup. They left everything very tidy. I heard the jets would really help my back and my feet. They seem to be working better. Using the tub is a wonderful experience. It's very relaxing. The heated seat is nice. I'm a happy girl. But I'm trying to get Medicare to help me pay for it ‘cause it was extremely expensive.

They were very prompt. They called right back and we made an appointment for someone to come out and see us. I said, "What's it gonna cost?" The rep said, "We don't know until we've seen its face. We're giving you an estimate when our person comes out." "I said "Okay." It was set up and the rep came out. She was charming. Her name was Amanda. She was good. She had a presentation. The price was more expensive than we thought. I was thinking 5,000, but it was 25,000, and I found that we can't afford that. She said, "What if you can stretch the payments out over a number of years, then monthly, it wouldn't be so bad." She was right. So we agreed to do it that way we have a 10-year loan.
However, there was a backlog and they couldn't install it for three months. But, I got a call three days later from a wonderful guy, head of operations saying, "We can do it sooner." I said, "How soon?" He said, "Monday." They sent a guy out to install it. He was terrific. He called me Saturday and said, "You mind if I just stop by for five minutes?" He came in and took a look. We have a small bathroom and it's hard to access. He came back Monday with his brother and they installed the thing in a day. They had the old tub out.
Another challenge was, there's free parking, but there's no parking lot in the building. He talked to a neighbor who had a parking spot and was leaving for work, and he said to the neighbor, "Would you mind if I parked my truck in your spot while you're away?" The guy said, "No, of course, not." And he did. He was there all day. It was great. We're really happy with it. It's certainly made bathing easier. The reps of Kohler have also been very responsive. Somebody was following up after it was installed a day later.

The two installation guys that came were very good. The jets are nice. The handheld shower part works good with it being right there in front of you as you sit. I liked the lifetime warranty that comes with the tub. I also like the way the door opens. The safety is fantastic. I'm on a double lung transplant list right now waiting. My legs are getting very weak. Bathing was becoming a hassle for me. It was very difficult. So this Kohler tub has made a huge difference in my life right now and it'd be great for my recovery too.
I like the fact that I can just walk into the tub and it's pretty easy to drain. I do have an issue with the thing that you turn for it to drain. I have to hold it for it to quickly drain. Because if I just do the one click, then it drains forever. But if I sit and hold it and put pressure on it, then it drains quickly. I'm not in good health right now. So, I don't like that part of it. It should be easier.

The two installation guys from Kohler were very nice. They were ready to go. It took them three days and they worked from 8: 30 to six o'clock every day. I like the Kohler walk-in bath. You open the door and you don't have to step over anything. You just walk right in. Everything is nice, the way I wanted it to be. It is what I thought it would be.

I wanted a walk-in bath tub and Kohler has a good reputation. I like the way the door is too. The gentleman I spoke with was very pleasant. He explained any questions that I had and told me what to expect, which all was true. Everything went fine. The installers did the job and cleaned up the mess. My walk-in bath tub looks fine and I like the ease of getting in and out. I bought it for my husband mostly so he can just sit or stand and I can be on the outside and I rinse him off or do everything so it's convenient in that way. He has problems with balance. We have a walk-in shower in the other bathroom, which he doesn't use because he gets water everywhere and he's afraid of falling.

The tub is finished and it's useable. But they haven't done two things they said they were gonna do and they haven't come back yet. Other than that, the jets of the tub have been my favorite so far. It's a good product. This is a good product and if you're in the market, I'd buy a Kohler.

The sales representative was a nice guy. The installation guys were super all right. They came in half a day, and they came back another half day. We like the tub. I like the fact that you bathe and relax in it. It's just what we wanted. My wife just had a hip replacement and instead of standing upright in the shower, the tub gives her more of a chance to relax. The product and Kohler was fantastic. But we've had a little bit of trouble with the company that wound up doing our financing, and we're still having trouble with them.

Consumer Reports rated Kohler number one and it was way above others. I also talked to some friends who had other companies that they didn't like. We decided to go with Kohler. Their rep was incredible and the installers were polite. They did their job and they let me know what they were doing the whole time. I didn't see any goofing off. The tub is very quality and it's incredible. I like the little handheld shower spray and the seat is great too.

I had a tub once before in the other house that I lived in and I liked the walk-in bath. In my new house, my tub is too deep for me to get in and out of. I needed another walk-in bath and my husband got it for me. Everybody was very nice. I would call them back if I need another tub. Someone came and did a presentation. He was very relaxed and just did his job. He felt like family.
I got the walk-in bathtub and it's good for me because I have bad knees. I sit in and I do not slip. I have a bar that I could lift myself out of. It's just wonderful. I take my little TV in, put it on there, lie back, and just do what I do. I had a friend come over and stay with me for the weekend. She got in that tub and she Facetimed everybody and told them about that tub.

Kohler's rep came back and had a great presentation. The crew got the bathroom installed in one day. I love the whirlpool. The only thing I didn't like about the tub was the time that it took to fill. Other than that, I love the whole thing.

The Kohler rep was very pleasant. I didn't know that there were as many options as there were, which was great to know. He was very personable and knew his stuff. The installers did well. I don't know if it was mismeasured initially, but they had to take the doorframes off. But they repainted them. They had to come back the next day after the paint dried and put it up. But other than that, there was no issue.
However, my hot water does not allow me to get up above the seat. It doesn't fill it. So we turned that up to see if that helps, and it got above the seat but not much. I'm not sure if I'm going to have to go to a larger water tank. But there's only me and it's 50 gallons and I was assured that that was enough, or turn it up higher. I’ve only used it twice. But the twice that I did it, it was a neat thing for the jets that I could turn on. It's a great tub.

The installation didn't go one day like the rep said. It turned out to be three days but since it was wintertime, it wasn't too bad. But I'm too short for the tub. I can't sit and relax on the seat part because my legs would just float. Also, the hot water tap doesn't provide real hot water. If you turn it on in the sink, it's so hot you can't stand it. Other than that, I'm so thrilled that I don't have to clean anything anymore since it's self cleaning.

The salesman was great, and the installer was absolutely inspiring. Initially, the salesman sketched out one way to accommodate our tub with extra stuff on the side, and when the installer came, it wasn't reasonable to do. It butts up to a glassed-in shower, and they were afraid they were gonna have to take out that glass and do it at their expense. However, the installer was Johnny-on-the-spot with figuring out a way around that and it was perfect. He didn't leave us with an open shower for a couple of weeks while a piece of glass was made to fit. I was happy all around. Plus, there was a strip of floor that wasn't covered. It didn't have my original floor on it, and they did a great job of finding something that would look cute and gave me a couple of choices. It looks like it was always there.
I like everything, the handheld and the heat. I used the heat last night, and it made my back feel great. The only down thing is, with any walk-in, you have to wait till the water is up high enough and the water drains a lot faster than it comes up. It was a little chilly initially, but then it was fine. Overall, getting a Kohler walk-in is a good thing to do and I can see where kids would enjoy it too.

The Kohler salesman was good. During the installation, they had to delay a day, but when they got there, they got it done. It was very professional. It has a simple system. It's very functional. I like it the way it is. I use the whirlpool more than anything. It was a great experience all the way around.

The installation was very good. My wall paint got nicked up a bit but that's no problem. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the showerhead. It's not the shiny chrome like I thought. It was more like a matte finish. Other than that, the tub is large enough. We have the bathroom chair to sit on and we have the grab bar. I like that the storage cabinets are embedded and it has plenty of shelves. The tub is also a low rise to step into.

I like everything about the Kohler tub. However, I don't like the drainage. You have to sit there and hold the lever up for the water to run out. It also takes long time to have to sit there to fill up the tub. I also don't like the way it runs out. It's very slow. But everything else is okay and the crew did a tremendous job. They were very neat. We were really satisfied.

The tub got put in a lot faster than we were told and everybody did great during the installation. The young men that put it in and did the tile around it did wonderful. The plumber and the electrician also did great jobs. They were very competent and polite. But there's a chip on the door and they're supposed to be replacing it and we haven't heard back on it. Also, it was awful expensive. It was a lot more expensive than we expected but we needed it.

The rep from Kohler was great. I liked him. He got some samples. The installers were also very good. They seemed to know exactly what they were doing, they were very methodical and professional, and kept me informed about what they were doing. They were done within two days. As far as the product, I like that it's not a tub and it's easier to get in and out of. I had the rail with the handheld on it, and I really like that feature, not only for showering but for cleaning the shower as well. Also, I do feel like I can shower quicker. It seems like it's a lot less effort than the old shower. I'm more inclined to use it more often.

The salesperson came over and the one thing I wanted was to give me a straight-up answer in price. So he told me, and so I could make my decisions based on that. He told me what they were gonna have to do and then the project manager came by and saw what he had to work with. He told us what he was gonna do. He had to come in and helped, so I got the advantage of having him there to do the installation. So it all worked out. Everything hooked up nicely. That day they came, all the relevant people showed up at the right time. The next day, another guy came in and did some more stuff. When they finished, it was all like they said it would be. But the thing started blowing after, and I didn't know what it was. It's in the little paperwork, but he didn't direct it to the paperwork or tell us that it would be automatically blowing out after we finish. I didn't know that. But other than that, everything was fine.
I'm gonna have to get a tankless water heater because the tub uses up the whole amount of my water heater to fill it up. It fills up slowly but it drains fairly quickly. But so far, it's done what it's supposed to do. We got the one with the heated seat and then the air and the water circling. It's working out fine. My brother was thinking about getting a walk-in tub, but he is bigger than me. Kohler said this is the only size they have. I don't think he can fit in that thing. He be in there like a sardine. That's the only thing with Kohler. They don't have another size. If you don't fit in this one, you're out of luck. But it suits us fine. I don't have any problem so far.

Everything was outstanding. Kohler notified us of the installation ahead of time and they came a day earlier than when they were supposed to because they had some mix-up on the previous job. They asked if they could come earlier and we were happy to have the tub a day sooner. They came in, got it done within the time limit that they said it would be, and demonstrated the unit. They were very professional. We're older and we needed walk-in tubs. It's been a very good product. We're very happy with it.

I looked at several different brands and Kohler was the last ones that stopped by to give us the pitch. It was very cordial and informative and they impressed me and my wife as being our best shot for what we were looking for. The installation was pretty calm, cool, and relaxed. The installers managed to squeeze that great big package inside our little bitty bathroom quite nicely and didn't do any damage to the house. It took a few hours, but they got to it. Then, we had a couple of questions and they were back out here the next day. They answered the questions and made the adjustments.

Everything went fine with the installation of my Kohler. It was a little longer than what everybody else advertised because it took about three days, not one day. But I love it. I like the jet tub and the massage part of it. When I use it, I feel better in my back than what I normally do.

I called Kohler up, and they came out and gave us a good presentation. They stressed the fact that everything is made specifically for us. It’s not like a piecemeal work where they're making the same one. They make them individually. I liked that. The material that they had was very nice too. The customer service from the team members was excellent as well. The installers ran into a slight problem with our drain and in order to circumvent having to drill a new line, they simply put it up a couple more inches, which makes not that much of a difference to get in or out of the tub. They explained all that to us and showed us. My husband and I both agreed that it was wiser not to have to run a whole new line. I like when people think outside the box. It was awesome.

The installation didn't take very long. I didn't move in to my house for a while that I’d had remodeled and when I did, the tub wouldn't work. When the guy came out, they had turned two breakers off but not out in the breaker box. The tub is good in a lot of ways, but it is very expensive. It's also a little cold. I've had to buy an electric heater for the bathroom. It has a heater in the back, but it's still cold sitting in there till you get your water deep enough.

Kohler's sales rep was good and he explained everything. The guys that installed it said it's only the second one that they have. It's a new design for a shower. Sometimes, you wanna wash your hair before you take your bath. This walk-in bath has the handheld thing but they installed the shower head in the glass door. The problem developed when I used it. The glass door does not seal all the way across and had a little waterfall come down onto the floor. They adjusted it when they installed it and it actually scratched up the top of the door a little bit. I'd like to get this along to the engineers. The top of the door sits maybe 3/8 of an inch above the sidewall so it's taller. That's where we pull the glass door across. It has a little rubber piece that's designed to seal that. But the difference is too great.
Lowering is not gonna help because it's gonna damage the tub door. The tub door cannot be adjusted. I initially said, "Just come take the dang thing out. I don't want the tub scratched up, and I don't like the waterfall thing. I'll put a curtain up and that'll be simpler." The installers came back once and they adjusted it to make it a little higher to make the part that's over the door less heavy on the door itself. But that still didn't get rid of the gap underneath the seal. I studied it and I figured out to close the window and have the seal backwards. I push it out so that it would sit there. That extended it down.
The only trouble now is there is a little seam between a shelf that extends from the tub to the wall to the tub. It's sealed but it's a little lower. Water goes where it's lowest. It is just a drip now instead of a waterfall. I solved that by rolling up a washcloth and laying it inside right there and it catches. If you're just washing your hair, it's not a lot of water. I'm gonna be having back surgery and that's why we invested in this walk-in bath. I love the whole system. I've had it in use for a couple of months now. It provides comfort and relaxes the tension. I have a lot of pain in my back so if I get a half hour relief, that's wonderful.

It was getting harder to get in and out of a regular tub. It was a pain in the neck to have a bench in there. I take it in and take it out so it didn't ruin the tub. I got a Kohler walk-in tub and with a bench already built in there, it's great for me. It's great for the shower to have it in two places, handheld or on the wall. The only thing is I have a little hard time until I get onto it. I didn't have two-handle spigots for a long time so I have to learn how to adjust them.
The Kohler rep was great and she really helped me out well all the way around. The installers did a really good job too except where they had to take the 2x4 size of the wall out. I don't know how I could fix it up. The lady that sold me the tub said I would have that problem and they're not responsible for that. But they had to take a little bit of the wall out to get the tub in. If I didn't know about this, I would have been a little upset about it. But the lady told me beforehand when she measured out everything. That aside, it turned out well. They tried to put it back best as they could.
Everything is great. It takes 20 minutes to fill up the tub. I have a 50-gallon water heater but I gotta be careful and run it in slowly or I'll run it all out. The installers did check that out as well as the wiring, and my fuse box panel. They checked how to put it in and that was why they recommended 50 gallons. I have a very small bathroom. With that shower, the heat stays in that area compared to when you get out.

My construction project has been a problematic one so everything has been very delayed. But the installation of the tub itself went fine. The installer, Scotty, was great. I paid a lot for it but it looks good. I had a major problem with my contractor and Kohler was very understanding with my many delays. They worked with me and I really appreciated that.

I liked Kohler's customer service and pricing. The salesperson explained everything well and answered all my questions. It wasn’t really a pressure sale. The rep was very professional and I was very impressed. He laid everything out for us and helped us make our decision. But on the day that they were supposed to start, the freeway was shut down in Arizona and there was a wrong-way driver and the installation crew had to go about two hours out of their way around the accident to get here. They communicated with us several times to let us know. They were always on time and very respectful. Plus, they knew what they were doing.
I had no problem with the quality of work. I could tell that it wasn't their first rodeo. They had a team and each one of the techs who did the installation knew what to do and they cleaned up nicely afterward. My wife who has bad arthritis, ankle problems, and back troubles uses the bath every other day. She says it works very well for her and she loves it. It relaxes her as she can stretch out in there.

The rep was a great salesman and he covered all the bases. He had a Kohler installed in his van and he took us to sit in it and what it would look like. He had a recliner in there and it was decorated like somebody's bathroom. It had carpet and we were bench-racing it in there. They had an optional bigger one, but the one that they had was more than enough room. The only real difference we did was get the bigger access door so it was easier to get in and out.
Their installation team was incredible. I'm a Type A non-aggressive, but I'm very meticulous about workmanship and craftsmanship. The techs had it. Our bathroom looks like a demo place. My wife says the bath is comfortable. The whole experience was great and the follow-up was good.

From the moment the sales representative came, he was very cordial, pleasant and informative. Every individual we've had in terms of our installation, has been good. We had one of those situations where I was hoping I would have wallpaper and I didn't. I called the installer and said, "Could I have the acrylic like you've done in the rest of the areas?" They came back and did that.
Also, because of the hurricane in Florida, we've had a problem with getting our tile man that we like a lot to replace a few tiles. Because we would like the tiles replaced in a way that they won't crack or shift, we wanted to wait for him. The installers were very cordial. They put the acrylic up, it looks great, and they're going to come back once he has laid the tile and do the floor boards. We've had a terrific experience from top to finish. I've been enjoying it immensely.
I like the whirlpool part of the tub and where the nozzles are. I like like the choices of levels as well. I have a nerve problem and walking issues. I didn't believe the comment that the tub would be very therapeutic for me. But it really helps. There's a little better circulation and stimulus. That has worked out better than I had believed from the initial sales talk.

I liked everything the sales rep presented to me. I knew they were going to cost a little bit more money but this looks like a nice big job and it looks more like a nice relaxing tub than something for somebody that's handicapped. When the installer came, he told me exactly what he was gonna do. He was very neat and clean about it. I was really surprised. I thought he was going to have to take out more of the tile but he just chipped up stuff that he needed. I live in a rural area and I got three acres of property so he had to come back. He came back the next day and he cleaned everything up spotless. It was perfect and the tub fit in there nice. He told me that he had to get a bigger water heater and he went and got that and put that in in the laundry room. Everything went smoothly and I'm really happy with it.
The tub is for my son and this way, he can get in and out of it by himself and he really likes it. He loves taking a bath and he likes soaking in it. It feels good for his bones. Also, he can sit in the tub for an hour and a half out and he does not have to add hot water to it. I tried it as well and it's really relaxing. I felt comfortable and I felt safe in it. It was a nice feeling.

The rep was very professional. We were trying to determine between two baths, and so we were really interested in which features each one had because that was going to make a big difference. The price wasn't super different. A very nice gentleman installed the bath we chose. He was good about letting us know where he was in the process and how long everything was going to take. We got a lot of Kohler products in my home and the quality is good. We recently purchased a walk-in tub from them and the installers were here about two days to get it in. So far, there are good and bad points about the tub. The main reason we got the walk-in was because my wife and I are having a hard time getting in and out of the tub. So that solved that problem. But I got really broad shoulders and I'm overweight. The tub is really narrow and it rolls my shoulders forward a little bit to sit in the tub. So, that's not really that comfortable. But it served the purpose that we wanted it to and everything else is okay.

Kohler's sales rep was very professional and informative. And the questions that I didn't ask, he addressed them. For the installation, the techs were here on time. They put down their clogs, got themselves set up, and proceeded to take out the whole tub. Once they got that done, they proceeded to put the walk-in tub in. When they finished, they showed me how to work the tub. I had to call them back two days later because I wasn't getting any hot water. They came out immediately and fixed that. So far, my husband's enjoying the walk-in and he takes baths all the time. I like it because you can just step in it.

After we purchased and installed an electric hot water heater, we found out that there was some type of anti-scald device on the tub that was never going to let the water get as hot as what we liked it. It would only let the water get to 105 and the wife likes really hot water. We should have been told from the start that there was this anti-scald valve on there. We had Kohler's reps come back and take it off, and everything was fine after that. But it ended up costing us $1,000 to get the new hot water heater installed and after we found out all this, there was nothing we could do about that.
I wrote a memo to the people that we purchased the tub from and installed it voicing my concern on this, but that was about a month ago and I haven't heard anything back from them. We also had one issue with the heater on the tub and the reps were back in two days to fix that. So other than the initial problems with the antiscald valve, we've been perfectly happy with the tub.

The presentation was very well done and David, the rep from Pacific Bath, was a very personable, sincere person. He came off very well and he knows his product and his job. When it turned out that the selection I originally wanted wasn't going to work in the house that I was in, they were perfectly willing to work with us for alternative solutions. The walk-in is very stylish and works well with the existing bathroom. It's for my mother who is getting up in years. It’s easier for her to get in and out of and she likes it.
It was a very positive experience with Pacific Bath and their installation practice. They got it done in the time they said they were going to get it done as well as within the budget framework. It was well made. In this day and age, trying to get anyone to do that and meet all three of those requirements, is extremely rare. So, I was impressed by all of it. I was pleasantly surprised so kudos to them and their company, and I liked Kohler’s product.

The rep was great. He was like somebody I'd known forever. He was very helpful and thorough. He was also very kind and polite. He’s a great guy. We both liked him. When the install guy called at 8:00 the day he was supposed to be there, he said, “My truck won't start. I don't know what's wrong with it. And it’s gonna take me several hours to get there.” I said, “Well, just come tomorrow.” That worked out really well. He came the next day and arrived right on time.
The two guys that did the installation were great. I thought it would take more than two guys to get all of that done. But they ran an electric line. They put in the pipes. They did a great job. They had to take the door frame out and part of the sheetrock and they’ve put everything back. It looks perfect. I got the bathtub installed for mom. Mom’s 94, and she likes to take baths now. The thing that she likes the most is leaning back against the thing that heats up the back. So while you're waiting for the tub to fill, you’re nice and warm. I'm glad we went with Kohler.

Kohler's ad was a little clearer than most of the other companies. Their work was top quality. The sales rep was very informative and knowledgeable, answered our questions, and not pushy. I like the salesman. He was excellent. He did everything we asked of him and answered every one of our questions. The work ethic of the installation crew was excellent. They went over and above what they should have been doing. When the tub first came in, it was scratched, and I didn't even notice it. They said that they weren't going to put it in. They sent it back, came back again and put the new one in. They were very conscientious. They had to jury-rig the tub because of how the other tub was in. It was a garden tub that was set in differently than most. They spent a lot of time trying to design it so that it fit and worked well. They did a great job. I'm loving the tub. My husband's doing very well with it. He feels very safe in it.

I love our Kohler walk-in bath and the team that installed it was great. They were a couple young fellows and they knew what they were doing. They ran into more work the way our tiling was done when they got the tub out, but they handled it very well. I had a lot of jackhammer stuff going on and I was surprised. They had 10 inches of concrete they had to go through to get to our drain, so it was a little more than they expected. They put in some long hours and it was a two-day job. I was very pleased because they had to take some door casings off to get in it and I can't even tell that they were taken off. They put them back so well. They were also nice to us and they didn't treat us like a couple of old people.
So far, I like the bubbles of the tub while my husband likes the jets and the heat. It takes a lot of water and you can't do two baths in one day. They also had to put in a new water heater for us, so that was another project. But we knew that since the agent told us that we'd have to get a bigger water heater. Other than that, my husband loves the tub especially before he goes to bed. He has some back problems, and it helps him out and relaxes his back. My main thing when I wanted it was balance. I love to have a bath and I was afraid that I'm going to fall down or I'll get in and won't be able to get out. I've told people about our Kohler and they're jealous. They said it costs so much but I told them that you just have to get your priorities straight. And it's got to be a lot cheaper than having a broken hip.

I had a little problem with the drain. They came to fix that. Other than that, the Kohler tub has been okay. I'm kinda wondering if it’s worth that much money as I paid for it, but I like it. I like the therapy part of it.

A lot of my friends said Kohler was a good company so I looked at their walk-in bathtubs. The representative who came here was very nice and knowledgeable. She did a good representational job. On the day of the installation, the guys that came took out the other bathtub and installed the walk-in tub. They did that in one day. However, I needed another water heater because my water heater was a little too small. A plumber came in along with them and he put the water heater in, which is in the garage. Two electricians also came and they went into the attic to fool around with the electrical that came down in my bathroom. They fixed another circuit breaker into my circuit breaker. There were about five or six guys and they all did the work. They all coordinated with each other and it was immaculate. They came at 8:00 and left around 5 o'clock.
My new tub is very easy to maneuver and get in and get out of. It's very easy to put on the jets and water and everything else like that. It's so much easier than going into my other bathtub, which I could hardly get out of. I had to use a seat in my other bathtub. With this Kohler bathtub, it takes me less time to take a bath and it's so much cleaner. It's much more wonderful. I like the air vents that come out in the front so I can put my feet on it because it makes my feet feel much better.

I've used Kohler products for years. Our fixtures in the kitchen are from Kohler. Their salesperson was superb. He took a nice amount of time to talk to my wife and me about a major purchase and put us completely at ease with making the decision and discussed all the benefits of a walk-in tub. He sold it without hard selling it. We were batting around like, “Do we really want to or not?” It seemed like a good investment.
My wife said that the installers were professional and did a good job. The bathroom looks wonderful. I like the jets and the ability to have a hot tub inside the house without having to go to the health club for it. I work in manufacturing and at 53, when I get home, I’m sore and tired. I can get in the bathtub and soak away my aches and pains, enjoy my evening and sleep better because I’m not sore. Overall, from the time that we contacted the Kohler team to the time that they came out and demonstrated the product, everyone was professional, polite, and courteous.

My experience with Kohler was super. When the salesman came out and did the proposal, he was very positive about the product. He was also professional and answered all of our questions. He had lots of information and samples and spent a lot of time going through everything with us. He was very patient too. I took that as a sign that it was a customer service-oriented kind of deal.
One of the things that I was worried about when we were looking at those tubs was they looked narrow. They are narrower than a regular tub, but the Kohler one looked like it was wider than some of the competitors. It also looked safer, in terms of the ability to grip the side of it as a way of supporting yourself, getting up and down out of that seating area. Some of the other ones that I looked at, you could grab around the edge of it, but it's flimsy, almost like a sharp-edged part of the tub up there. Whereas the Kohler thing looked like it was designed as something to grab on to to support yourself.
The thing that I was blown away with was the skill set of the two guys that installed the tub. They've gotta be these generalists as far as construction goes. They've gotta know plumbing, electrical, and carpentry because every one of those disciplines is involved in getting the tub in there and getting it working. They had to run some electrical lines around my house outside with a conduit and run it inside the garage to get at the electrical boxes in there. Everything was complicated and time-consuming but they got it done. It was challenging to navigate around the small space, get the thing in there and get it installed, but they did an incredible job all the way around.
There were a couple of things that were bad, but I don't fault Kohler for it. One, the installation date was delayed about six months. But that was due to some difficulty in the supply chain in getting some of the wall parts. The other thing is it's ridiculously expensive. It's 22,000 bucks for a tub. But I knew that going in. It was a choice, not a surprise. It's outrageous as far as the cost goes, but in terms of the work and the quality of the product, we couldn't be happier. The tub is a wonderful product. There is also a lifetime guarantee if anything went wrong that sounded a great protection that was built into the deal.

I've tried a lot of the other cheaper brands but they poop out fast. Kohler doesn't seem to do that. I had them come out and give me an estimate for a step-in tub. The rep was no hard sell at all. He came out fast and was on time. He was very personable, nice and clean. He looked at my area and measured it out. He gave me the outline of how much it would cost and what the process would be for me to think about. Then he gave me an offer to come to their showroom, physically look at the items, and look at the different options. I did that about a week later and signed the contract.
The installation was estimated for three days. They installer would come between 8:00 and 9:00. He came at 8:45. Everything he needed was on the truck. He brought everything in and worked all day the first day. He did the destruction of the existing bath and tile and left at 5:45. He was polite and personable but not Mr. Chatty, which I appreciated. He came exactly on time the next day. Had already pre-setup the city inspector to come look at the plumbing and electrical. That guy didn't come on time, but he eventually showed up and got it all cleared. Everything was 100% good. The installer put the surround and the tub in, did all the final work, and showed me how to use it. He showed me when the final inspection was done, tagged the things that the guy would need to look at so I would know what to do, then left again at about 5:45.
I like that the tub has a shower, the faucets for a tub and a handheld. It has a little seat in it so that if I just want to go in and take a quick shower, I can do that. But if I want to go have a bath, then that's good too. I brought the whole unit because I have a funky shoulder. Every now and then, it gets to hurting and I wanted those jets for that shoulder.
I would 100% recommend Kohler. It's good quality. The hardware is metal rather than plastic. When you go buy hardware, it's usually not metal. There are 2 things that I don't care for though. The area between the tub and the wall is flat. When you use the shower, water stands there. You have to make a concerted effort to move that water into the tub. There aren't any grooves to make sure that that water can drain into the tub. You don't want a lot of standing water there because it's not a good thing. I also wish that there was a designated shower curtain. I'm gonna have to dummy up a shower curtain and cut a regular one down ‘cause the regular one doesn't fit. Sometimes, water gets out on the floor. I want to have a shower curtain that covers the entire open area of the shower.

Kohler has excellent customer service. Some other people could learn from them. Their salesman was very good at explaining everything, and so I decided to go forward with it. The installers were very good, too. They operated with excellence. The installation was a little bit more difficult in my case, but they were able to troubleshoot and do an outstanding job. They were very skilled. Kohler's product is very high quality, too. I really like the way I can fit in comfortably and do my shower. I do that more than just taking a full bath. I enjoy being able to do it like that.

The sales rep was a nice guy. He went through everything. We had three gentlemen here for the installation. They were in and out, and the guy was explaining to me what he was doing. They carried everything out with them and put their little booties on so they wouldn't mess up the floor. When they were taking out the old one, they took a small chunk of drywall out. They patched that and the guy wanted to paint it for me. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same color of paint.
I like the ability to be able to sit down to a heated seat. The only thing that I wish I had is a larger water heater. I got 50 gallons, and it will fill it up to below the handle, then I have to shut the water off and wait for about 15 minutes for the heat back up. If I had a larger water heater, I probably wouldn't have that problem. But I'd recommend it. I've sent pictures of it to others. If I had to have a little concern, it was the supply chain. We started the process in January but didn't get anything until June. Also, the commercial Kohler has is weird. They got two women walking down the street and one woman says if she hadn't gotten this Kohler bath, she would have had to sell her house. That's a little overboard. I’m not gonna sell my house because of a bathtub. Then the other woman says, “I might have to look into that, too.” Then they compliment the guy who’s working so hard but he's just standing out on the lawn squirting along with a hose.

Everything was on time. We had to wait for the chair, but that was no big deal. The installation was good. We had to call them once about the caulking. It wasn't sealed tightly. They said it wouldn't cause any damage but I had them refill it.

Kohler is made in the United States, not in China or someplace else. Everybody from sales on down was very professional and respectful. I'm very pleased. The sales rep was very personable and patient with me as I tried to make a decision. The installers didn't waste any time. However, for the first tub that had been brought out, nobody noticed it had a crack in it. They had to have another one brought out and that took an hour. They had that hour that they didn't have a lot to do. But they spent it cleaning up. They weren't just sitting in the truck listening to the radio.
I like the tub. However, I didn't know that I was going to need a new water heater. When the plumber came out and explained everything to me, he explained that my water heater wasn't big enough, and it was too old to add on a tank booster. He said if I tried to put a tank booster on it, one of the fittings might break, and I'd be without hot water. I didn't make arrangements to get a new hot water heater yet so the tub doesn't quite fill up with hot water because of that.

I had several different vendors come here to show and discuss what their tubs were like. But I liked the cleaner design of Kohler. Also, one of my primary reasons for going with Kohler was that I wanted something where it was a complete installation. I didn't want to have to deal with a plumber and an electrician and subcontractors. I wanted to make sure that they use the people to install it correctly. The electrician did a great job. I like the way he used up the boxes in my junction box. He left two spots there where if I decide to put in an electric vehicle, I have available slots there. He was done in no time. The installer, Shawn, did a great job keeping up with cleaning up and making sure everything was perfect. He was like he was working on his own bath.
I like the Jacuzzi, the whirlpool and the air jets. I also like that I can fill it halfway and enjoy a foot massage. The tub is easy to maintain. It's clean. I like that after it drains about 15 minutes later, it cleans out the jets to prevent any mildew. I'm in a 55 and over community, and everyone sort of has the same explanation. They have bathtubs, but who can use them? You can't get in and out of them gracefully. The Kohler walk-in tub opens up a whole new world. A few people have seen mine. They like it. They may not want to put up the money that I did. But at least, it puts a thought in their mind of what to do if they do major renovations in their house.

The sales agent was great. The installation didn’t take long at all. They finished a little earlier on the second day than the first day. The tub is tricky for a senior citizen, but we love it. I'm not a small guy but it's very comfortable for a guy my size, 6-foot. We're getting compliments on it. We have a shower curtain over it. It seems to blow everybody up. They say they like it but it's too expensive. I wish it was cheaper.

We had a bathtub before this one that didn't work very well. It was Kohler, but I don’t believe it was the fault of the tub as far as why it failed. But this one works well. The salesperson was terrific.

The installation went very well and the crew was all very professional. There was a problem in that one of the pipes wasn't connected properly. There was a little bit of a leak but they cleaned it up. They had to come back a second day. Other than that, everything went smoothly. I like the tub very much. I have used it a number of times already and I'm enjoying it. I only wish the two outside knobs or the push buttons would be identified because I don't remember which does what. I printed out the directions and I have it in a plastic bag over by the tub so that every time I use it, I can refer to it.

My Kohler experience was great. I like the guys that put my tub in. There were four people. They had the main guy and he had an apprentice and two other guys there working. He had two designers. They got here at 8 o'clock and they worked until like 6:00 in the afternoon. I talked to the designers. I can't see much. So, a lot of the stuff I didn't see until afterward. The floor wasn't leveled and they didn't know that. So, they had to put a piece of quarter round on the floor to cover up the crack. They were nice and did a good job. I had a good time with everybody.
The product is a little high-priced, but it is excellent. It's good for people that gotta have walk-in tubs. I like the seating and everything in it. I like the controls. I like the tub overall. It just needs some improvement. I called them up and said that the shower should be extended further out because I don't have much water pressure. When you take a shower, you're banging your back into that faucet. I keep bumping into the faucet. I already told them about that about weeks ago. I just haven't heard anything back from anybody.

I tried to find a walk-in bathtub for my mother-in-law, and what we were trying to look for was something that had good quality, something we can depend on, and had a good warranty with it. As far as Kohler, I know the product from using it for the last 30 years. That was a big selling point for me. The sales rep did a great job. I felt like he was an honest fella and I didn't have any problems with him. The install technicians were professional and did their job. We didn't have any problems with them doing the installation. They did it in a timely manner. There were some parts that were missing from the setup that was mailed from the manufacturer and they did not arrive when they were supposed to, but it was not the technician's fault. They had to come back at a later date and install those parts.
My mother-in-law loves the tub, but she did have a problem with it. There was something about a clip on the drain that went awry with it and it went from draining instantly to taking about 10 minutes to drain. We had to have a rep back out here. The first guy was great. The second one that came out was not so good. He supposedly put the clip in and when he put the panel back in, there was a problem and the coffin job was horrendous. They had to come back out a third time. They fixed the clip, straightened up the panel, and fixed the coffin job. Now, we've got to do some painting around the bathtub. So, that was not a good experience.

The installers sucked. They kept banging the pipes and we have galvanized pipes, so it clogged all the faucets in the house. I went and fixed it all. I told them that they do some shoddy workmanship and they got offended. They were ready to walk off the job. I hate the walk-in tub. You have to sit down to take a shower because where you would stand, it goes over your head. It's difficult to get in and out because the way the door is, you gotta climb up on the seat.

Kohler had the best follow-up if you needed warranty work or had any problems. I really liked their sales rep. She was very informative and answered all our questions. So, we felt quite comfortable. The installers were on time and worked very diligently. They had to bust up an old cast iron tub and made everything work. We had checked other options like buying one from a big box store and having somebody install it. We only had a 24-inch opening and Kohler was the only one that was able to get it into the space. So, that was another reason we ended up with them.

I've always known that Kohler is a good product. I'm in a custom home and I knew that what I needed had to look like it belonged there. When the salesman came out, he understood better than I did because he was showing me what Kohler I needed and explained how the engineering process worked. My husband's a retired engineer, so he liked that. When they said they'd take care of everything A to Z, that was exactly what I needed. They kept me up-to-date. We ran into a couple of small unanticipated problems. They told me how they were going to fix them. My husband just wishes the tub could be a few inches wider. As for me, it's perfect. I had a Jacuzzi bath. So, they just took its place and finished everything up nicely to where it looks like it was custom designed because it's on an angle. It looks beautiful. The cost was around what I was expecting. The quality is exactly what I expected from Kohler and I'm very happy with it. It looked very thoughtfully designed. It's easy to reach the plug except for someone who has physical limitations.
