If I could give zero stars I would. I paid around $1200 more than other quotes I received however because of the great reviews I went with Interstate Moving and Relocation Group. Big mistake. They informed me that they needed a "shuttle" to get the shipment delivered to my location, the day before delivery. They strong armed my special needs brother and told them the shuttle costed an additional $500 more than the contracted pricing and threatened to leave with his stuff. Multiple calls to customer service went unanswered and they had my 80-year Mom running around to get a money order/cashier's check instead of calling the ONLY person on the contract (me). What a SCAM! Do not believe the reviews, it is absolute BS. Zero customer service. Fake reviews!

They were punctual and friendly. Great rates and great people. I would refer them to my friends. They didn’t take a lot of breaks. They were very efficient with their time. I couldn’t have been happier. They even wore booties so dirt wasn’t tracked in the house.

Possibly the worst moving broker I've ever experienced. Let's start with Sales. We did a full walkthrough via Facetime of my one bedroom, one bathroom apartment (750 square feet) to develop an inventory list for my estimate. Seems they quote you low to lock you into a contract when the actual costs winds up being 3x the price.

My long-distance move went as expected, which was a relief. The movers packed the truck tightly so items wouldn’t shift. They called ahead during delivery and arrived within the promised window. Fragile boxes were intact, furniture was wrapped and undamaged, and nothing was missing. At the new place, they placed heavy furniture where I asked, saving me from moving it again later. It was straightforward, reliable service.

Interstate Moving & Relocation Group scammed me, and I had the worst experience with them. They gave me a low quote to get me to sign with them. I paid them a 25% advance deposit. After the cancellation period was over, they called me to go over my inventory. During that call, they increased the price by 60%. When I refused to agree to the new price, they threatened to cancel my move and leave me stranded. They even sent me emails saying that my move was canceled. Knowing I had no other options, they forced me to accept the new price. This company is a total scam, and their managers have no shame to lie openly. I hope this helps you avoid having the same experience.

Scam from beginning to end. Customer Service shamefully rude and after payment unable to offer any support and valid information regarding pick-up and delivery because they are a broker. We were on your own in dealing with issues with mover who was a big problem. He took casual remark as for the absolute date we MUST arrive for delivery and - and basically held items and us hostage until he was paid an extra amount, charged because we were unable to drive across country in five days. NOTE: Mover was 5 hours late and finished at 8 PM so we lost almost a full driving day. Items arrived broken and damaged. See photos. As stated above Interstate was no help in dealing with mover. Scammed out of thousands! You've been warned - and here hoping the Better Business Bureau backs consumers up on this. (Not shown in images were also several dirty smudges on furniture.)

BADDD BAAAD BAAADD. My wife has had a worst experience. This seems like a scam. No ETA, No information. They picked up her stuff, but now it’s nowhere to be found. They are intermediaries with carriers and have no updates from them whatsoever. She is a medical student, and they are not helping with getting her stuff to her at all. They keep pushing updates to the next week and have no updates at all when she calls them back. There is no ETA, no details. They have a 21 business day delivery window, and it seems like they won’t deliver until then—if at all.

We downsized to a smaller home and had to leave behind some big pieces. The movers gave us a few practical suggestions and didn't pressure us to take everything. They stayed respectful and calm even when we made last-minute decisions.

My experience with this company was awful from start to finish but today was when the delivery was made & It was even worse than pick-up which I thought couldn’t get worse!! It started with the movers refusing to wear the shoe protectors (that I provided) to help protect my brand new carpet. It was not a polite decline, but a very rude one. I also had to make sure that they were going to put my furniture back together, which they did end up doing, but at first, they seemed shocked that they had to!... When all along I kept doublechecking to make sure that anything they took apart upon picking up that they were going to be putting back together upon delivery and I always got “yes absolutely” as answer.

This has been a horrible experience. We were told we'd get 24 hours' notice before they arrived, scheduled for a Sunday, and heard nothing after Tuesday. Called and emailed everyone we had had contact with all weekend long, and then they finally called at 11:30am on Sunday morning, saying they'd be there in 1.5 hours. They forgot a big expensive piece of furniture and it took weeks to get it. When I called the main number, they were completely unhelpful. I need an itemized receipt to get reimbursement from my employer for relocation expenses. We have been calling and emailing over and over, and no one will provide a receipt. WE NEED A RECEIPT FOR THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WE HAVE PAID YOU!!! What do we need to do to get a receipt????

Despite a video Zoom call conducted specifically to assess the size of my belongings, the moving company arrived with a truck that was far too small to complete the move. I was assured that I was getting a great deal and even being done a favor by receiving an entire truck with ample extra space, but on moving day, that proved to be entirely false. There was no solution offered to rectify the situation. Furthermore, a substantial portion of my belongings sustained damage, and I was never provided with a clear explanation of how the insurance coverage worked or given the option to purchase additional protection. As a result, I now face approximately $10,000 in damaged equipment and furniture, yet I am only being compensated $278.

Do not use this moving company. They will scam you out of thousands of dollars, hire unscrupulous, rude, and mercenary movers who damage your belongings, and then ghost you. My move started out with a quote of $2500, but when the movers arrived, they estimated that it would cost an additional $3000 to move my belongings. After they packed up my belongings, I found that they had left several boxes behind that I had to ship myself. When they arrived at the final destination, the mover was incredibly rude; several boxes labeled "Fragile" were destroyed, and other belongings were damaged. On top of that, the movers refused to accept a cashier's check for the payment. They only wanted cash -- which is very strange. Find anyone else to move your belongings. T

I paid my deposit and had to change the moving date because the closing was changed. I almost had a problem because the salesman did not say you can change the date. They don’t give you a fixed date for pick up or drop off btw. At any rate the next agent my actual moving coordinator was very understanding and helpful. She provided me with great tips. She said she was going to send on of her top movers (interstate sub contracts) and she did. US Express Moving System showed up on moving day. They were fantastic. I moved a lot of large furniture and they were professional and fast. Gave me a detailed inventory. My stuff was held in storage for a month and then delivered by Express. Everything arrived in good condition and was assembled. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Textbook bait and switch company- they do this a lot!! Look at the other reviews! They sell you on an affordable, easy move then they hand you off to the shadiest moving company I’ve ever seen. They hold your move hostage until you pay more money. Interstate seemed to take a thorough inventory- I even had to measure my furniture and count the prepacked boxes. But then the actual movers get there and it’s suddenly thousands of dollars more than originally quoted. You have no choice but to pay. Then they don’t deliver my stuff until THREE WEEKS after my move in date. Do you know how long that is when you have NOTHING to live off of??? An absolute nightmare! I would never wish this experience on anyone else and I have already told several people to avoid Interstate at all costs. Arena Vanlines needs to be removed as one of your moving partners - absolutely the worst moving experience I’ve ever had! And I’ve moved 13 times!!

When looking for a mover from California to South Carolina I read reviews and compared prices. All companies have bad reviews, and I acknowledged that, so I took the word of my salesperson, Ken **, when he sent me positive reviews for this company. First, Interstate Moving and Relocation does not do the transport. One company picked up our items and another dropped them off and those people were very friendly and did what they were supposed to do. And yes, when they showed up they did charge us extra because my box count was off, but I think that was on me.

I had to move from one state to another and I was surprised at how well equipped these people were to help facilitate my move! They came to my home and helped my family pack everything up safely and even helped us check to make sure we left nothing behind. Their service was prompt and even though it was a long move they made sure everything was okay. What amazed me was their ability to move everything in only two days! Other reviews saying they have managed this are not wrong at all. They give you the value you pay for, I can say that much! I will recommend them to anyone who needs to make a big move to a new location.

I waited as long as I could before submitting this negative review, hoping Interstate Moving and Relocation Group and BLVD Moving would honor their promises and make-up for my nightmare moving experience. I was moving from CA to MT and I made sure to perform my research and contract with a top five moving company. I spoke with Anthony ** with Interstate Moving and Relocation Group and he really sold me on Interstate Moving’s high satisfaction rate and he promised the nightmare experiences I previously experienced with other moving companies would not be repeated. Those promises were short lived when Interstate Moving subcontracted my move to BLVD Moving (Chatsworth, CA). Here are just some of the extremely disappointing observations from BLVD Moving:

I was extremely happy I found this company. My parents were needing to move to live with my sister but I live out of state and I had to coordinate and play in the mood for them as they are elderly. I explained my parents were elderly and would need everything done for them and they assured me they were they could pack the stuff labeled the boxes and move them okay storage or to my sister's garage wherever they needed no problem whatsoever. Interstate is a classic bait and switch. They are a broker. Interstate tells you a price for your move and the moving company which is a third party shows up and tells you a different price. The moving company only showed up with only ONE person, independent contractor (another third party), to move our 550 cubic feet worth of stuff and he shattered our TV. Don’t trust Interstate!

Never use this company for moving. Interstate Moving Relocation Logistics company! We scheduled to move today, and they told us to expect 9 to 12 pm. They called and said 4 to 6 pm. 8 to 9 pm. Then, at 9 pm, He brought only one worker with lots of paperwork to fill out; at 10:26 pm, there was still not even one box out to the truck!! The company told us 3 to 4 people would be here, which is a lie. And the price of moving kept going higher than what we signed. It is a scam!!! Very unprofessional company! And very unorganized! 11:19 pm. Driver brought truck that is already full with the other people's stuff. He told us he has to go get a new truck this late at night. I want to give it zero stars, but there’s no choice for no stars. Going to look for lawyer to sue this company.

They went through a process to get an estimate, the process was a little weird because they had her email pictures of our stuff rather than send an agent to prepare for the move. However the URLs all checked out. The company seems to be a real company. They gave us a quote for just over 24,000 dollars with a 9600 dollar deposit which my mom paid. On June 8th, a representative claiming to be with "Quality Assurance" by the name of Adrienne called my mother while I was out. She did text us both so I was aware a call would be coming today.

They were extremely quick - while other companies would often take many days, this company only took two business days to move my things. We were quoted one price. Had more than I thought. But movers wanted to charge 5X more. Then cussed my child out in Spanish. Then refused to take what we paid to move. Nothing was done to resolve this issue. Have emailed and called numerous times and they still have denied everything.

Very easy to work with. Setting up the move was easy and finished on a high note. They took extreme care in wrapping the furniture so it would not be damaged in the move. They placed the furniture exactly where I wanted it.

I had called simply to get information for an approximate estimate of what a full service mover would cost. I answered the questions I was asked, and because I was not ready to set up a service, the representative I spoke to felt the need to "teach" me about my options. He then started to question if his services were in my budget because I paused after the quote and insinuated that I would need someone else to pay for the move because I could not afford his services. I then, again, said that I appreciated the information he had given me so far, and that I was still collecting information from different companies as well as places like UHaul where you do it yourself. To that he responded "Good luck with your move. Jesus christ woman" and hung up on me.

It was the worst decision I took to hire them as a mover from Indiana to New Jersey. They tried to ask more money on every step after booking and I had missing and damaged furniture. During booking, Mitch (agent) promised that it’s a door-to-door service. They unassembled furniture in Indiana and completely ignored to assemble it back. Worst people I had to deal with. Guys in Indiana left kitchen items and other items unpacked and we had to pack those ourselves. Full packing was involved in my quote. It was a total nightmare. During unloading, they asked all money in advance or they won’t unload and after that guys who were unloading started so much drama and kept trying to ask more money. I would not recommend them to any enemy.

I really want to recommend Interstate, but I just can't. Before you book with them, you have to know and understand that they are a broker - they don't actually do the moving, they just search for the best prices and availability for you. Starting out, everything was great - communication, price, estimate of cubic footage being moved, service, etc... Until the actual move. Once they hand you over to the company they select for you, if there are any issues with the move or pricing or anything, you're on your own to deal with that company yourself.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I never write bad reviews, this company was the worst I've ever experienced. They are not even a moving company, rather a broker who hires out movers. They assured me everything would be on time, and assured me they'd be in communication, and that they are very careful with my things. That was NOT my experience, at all. When I called to try and get an update on the items, their customer service rep was so rude, hung up on me multiple times, didn't give a care in the world that I was without all my belongings for weeks on end, and they were so late delivering that everything came the night before my new job.

I booked my move with them on a weekend, as that is the only time I am free and I could supervise their crew with muscles. As expected they made an exception for me that pleased me. I called their office to confirm if they were on their way and my calls went unanswered and I thought to myself they ditched me last minute. After about 15 mins I got a call from them saying they would run late. I waited patiently for another 30 mins when they showed up, of which I was glad and we went over the quotes so we all were on the same page.

We first interacted with Josh who was very attentive, thorough, responsive, and eager to help. He was the only specialist from the moving company that we spoke to who actually sent out a dispatch team to check out the windy road that we were relocating to, to make sure the truck would be ok to handle the hairpins and narrow three point turns. He was also the only one who sent us information upfront about moving in California. He worked with us with every question/request we had, and never dismissed any concern. And he was very pleasant to speak with! Tip: Buy your own blankets in advance off Amazon for furniture storage, and have some extra boxes of your own on hand. The Move provides the tape for free. You just pay for the time, whether they are packing or moving. (They have boxes on the truck too, as backup, but they are more pricey.)

Last month, I needed a move to happen with a very short turn-around time. My initial date had to be canceled and my second date was less than a week's notice. Rich was very helpful over the phone. He asked questions to understand what I needed so that he could assign the right number of helpers for the job. When I canceled the first date, he was understanding. When I called within 2 weeks to reschedule, he was just as helpful as he was when I first spoke to him.

Allen from the local department called several days before my move with a few questions and words of advice. I spoke to him again briefly to give him/the movers instructions for parking at my apartment complex. I was able to get him immediately. They were super appreciative of the food goodies we left for them and post-load tips. They chose to take the stairs (I'm on the 3rd floor) instead of the elevator, because the elevator was so far away from my apartment. I had a 2 bedroom, but more stuff than the average 2BR. I think they were the quickest movers I have ever had, but they were also very careful.

I had a pre planned moving date but was currently out of country on vacation when contractor notices a water leak in the ceiling. While out of the country we mitigated the leak and called the movers to see if they could move the date up. I never had the pleasure to meet George in person but he was in constant contact with me via phone and text. He even took photos and consulted with me about furniture that was damaged for a future insurance claim, so we didn't move any water logged stuff to the new house and got photo evidence of the damage. He and his team packed and labeled everything so when we get back into town and to the new house it will be a breeze to unpack, and everything in its predetermined new room!

We had originally scheduled them to come at 8AM to get things started. About 2 weeks before the move, I had a work conflict and needed to reschedule for a little earlier. An email was sent over and they quickly responded agreeing to the 7AM start time. Fast forward to moving day. The guys gave us a call around 6:30 letting us know they were on their way. They then called around 7AM explaining they had a truck issue and were running a little late. Completely fine with me because they were meeting us at a storage unit first and the office didn't open until 7AM so that left me some time to run in and take care of everything before they got there.

Do not use this company. They are very unprofessional. They said my move would cost me ~$4500 initially. I didn't hear from them until a week before the move. It jumped to $9550. I was told I pay for what I use. It was a lie. I moved into 2 10x10x8 storage units which equals 1600 cubic feet which is what I was quoted. I still have plenty of room and they are telling me I have to pay for the whole thing. They said I'll get 175 cubic feet back which isn't close to what I actually used. When you write a bad review, the customer service reps hang up on you saying well you agreed to the settlement. Do yourself a favor. Don't book with these scam artists.

I reached out to this company and they took the time to view the storage in order to ensure it would be beneficial for my move. The leader movers kept costs low without sacrificing my belongings and it met the company's needs too. It was nice to see such honesty with such a young entrepreneur. He is very hands on and he initially arrived at my storage to assess the situation and check on the best way to transport my items. After the discussion I felt relieved with the decisions made. They saw a tiny issue with my entertainment center but worked quickly to find a resolution. I was thankful, because they could have left it.

I liked that it was a video estimate vs an in person estimate as it was easier for me to plan for. Shortly after the video estimate, I received a quote which included a "not to exceed" price which helps with the no bad surprises at the end of the move. It was great that everything was included in the price as well as honestly one of my biggest concerns was being price gouged. The narrow streets in San Francisco provide a challenge to large trucks but my neighbors were very accommodating in moving their cars to allow for space (you may want to get a permit if your neighborhood/ neighbors aren't as flexible).

I was moved from Highlands Ranch to Castle Rock on March through a friend referral whom this company made his moving a success. Did a ton on research to see it's a legitimate business and decided to give them my address so they could come over and check what was to be moved and how they'll charge me. When we were prepping for the move the manager realised we had a bit more "stuff" than 2 trucks (which they assigned us) could hold, They sent for a third truck and headed down to where our final destination was. This is where things went a little south.

We were moving from our condo in Midtown of 6 years after having had a baby...and realized that an otherwise livable situation had become just too cramped. We moved to a place on the Upper Westside, and with our 13 week old infant, needed a lot of help moving, including actual packing of our glass/valuables safely and securely, and also breaking down of furniture (mostly beds) and re-building them in the new abode.

Once I got laid off myself, my household considered some options, move somewhere cheaper or go stay at our parents' houses for a while. Choosing the latter wasn't an easy decision, but it had to be done. After signing on to the service and telling them how much stuff you had and any restrictions your building and/or street has, you could chose an upcoming date for their team to get your stuff. There were pretty limited options of dates since everyone and their mom was moving out of SF at that time in the summer, but we still got a good date just before our lease was up.

We are a family with a decent amount of stuff, some of which is antique and very meaningful. I told them and they assured us that they do large, careful moves regularly. It happened that there was a big snowstorm the day we moved. They contacted us in advance and offered to reschedule for free, but it made more sense for us go forward as planned even though they warned us it might take longer and cost more cause of snow. There was some confusion after the fact about the time spent shoveling and the cost, but when I talked to the company about it, they worked it out with us and made a modest, but fair adjustment to the price. On arrival at where I was moving, I gave them the basic layout, told them which rooms were which, and let them know that most of the boxes had the rooms they were going in written on top of the boxes. Then they were off. I carried a few boxes and put a few things together and in no time they were done.

I used IMRG to broker my move from NY to CO. I spoke with a rep named Alex, who was cordial and assured me that IMRG could get me a good rate on the move. Alex quoted me $4800 to move my one-bedroom apartment. I asked him who would actually handle the move, and he told me that Movement Pro would. On the day of the move, though, three guys from All Points Moving showed up - a company with significantly worse reviews. By the time they finished moving me, I ended up spending $9600, which was twice what I had originally been quoted. So IMRG lied to me about who would be handling the move, and they lied to me about how much it would cost. You need to be able to trust your broker, and this one is not worthy of your trust or your money. It's difficult to find a good moving company, but I recommend that if you're thinking of hiring IMRG, you keep looking.

After booking a specific date, my husband and I had to change it a few times because of unavoidable circumstances which was not a problem for them. At first we had a bump in the road, the scheduling had gotten mixed up between the workers so I got pretty worried, but after a few days before the set day, they called telling me that they would show up just a bit later than the time planned, but to compensate the lost time, they would bring another crew to help move the stuff around. We really appreciated the heads up and that they valued our time.

I just moved the day before yesterday from an apartment building to a 4 floor family home and they had a challenge of an elevator on one side and a deck of stairs with awkward corners on the other side. This combined with a vast volume of stuff to be moved made for an extremely long day. When they arrived, they did a 3-point turn with the moving truck on my narrow street to back into my driveway that impressed me. I had them move my furniture, not my boxes. We did a walk through of what I wanted them to take and what they didn't need to do and they took it from there. They used a labeling system to let the me know where they were unloading the items (living room/basement/guest room etc). It was easy for me to give directions as they unloaded the truck but it made me feel a bit awkward.

We recently just moved from Utah to Texas and we decided to try Intestate Relocation for the first time, and this is one of our easiest moves. We have moved ourselves plenty of times and we normally rent the moving truck, we load it, drive it, unload it then deliver it back. This time around we didn't have to do all that. We were able to get a quote online and I called to confirm it with them, and they sent the quote to our email to confirm the price. Also they charged us once everything was on transit. We ordered the largest trailer they had and they told us anything that we didn't use per foot they would give us a credit and won't charge for anything that we didn't use. We ended up using everything and we actually couldn't fit wooden doors to keep the stuff upright and a ramp too that we couldn't fit either. We used every bit of space we could with first packing the heavy ones followed by the light ones.

I am from a family of four from a 2 story single family home with a basement and we made a move with the help of this company. I made arrangements for some furniture to be moved and others to get to storage and I can say it was a success. We did some packing so when they got here only thing left was loading the furniture up. Where we were doing storage and where we supposed to move are on different ways so they first took what was needed for the storage and returned to load another stuff up for the move, am glad they took my feelings into consideration about the plan so I'd say the movers listened keenly and made decisions when I was there. They also loaded my daughter's doll Houses without disassembling any of it and I appreciate that, assembling that one is not an easy task.

After living in this apartment for almost 30 years it was time to change view and environment. The estimates we were given was quite high but considering we live as an extended family, we've had a lot of possession accumulating over those years. We needed a lot of manpower and this wasn't an ordinary move requiring 2 movers. The higher the number the better, so I had a good deal and I took it. A head mover came out to meet with us on site at a particularly difficult move to strategize how best to get us out of that old house. On the day of the move, they reached out to their colleagues and requested an additional of 2 guys and they came around after an hour with another small truck to make the move work. So far our only breakage was a chip on our play kitchen door (it's particle board), two cereal bowls and a water glass, which of course I packed, so most likely my error.

We had an out of state move and some of our furniture was extremely heavy to load on our own, we phoned the movers and booked our appointment. It took some time to get someone through on the end of the line but we finally found someone, it seemed they were on a lunch break. On the third day, space was available and 2 movers were on their way. They managed to get the furniture on the trailer without dinging the walls or the hardwood floors as that might have cost us to pay the owner of the apartment. They had a break in between as loading a 3 bedroom isn't easier than I thought. I served them some tea, we talked of a while getting to know each other and we made friends from the movers

The driver of the truck managed to arrive at the new location before I did, even though I drove away first. They wrapped the furniture in shrink wrap to keep it clean even though the truck itself was tidy, and removed the wrap and took it away when they finished. The move started exactly on time, not a moment wasted, and finished in less than the 2 hr minimum. Communication was also excellent with a confirmation message sent over the weekend with photos of the movers who would be handling my move on Monday..They also had someone manning the phone in the evening over the weekend when I called to alert them about the likely need to remove the apartment door and ensure that was a service they provided so I have to give them.

Despite the truck being a little late due to traffic, it didn't seem to slow the team down at all. Nate and Justin got right to work wrapping a preparing furniture to be loaded. I couldn't believe how quickly the bedroom was emptied. Once Ayrielle and Daniel arrived they didn't miss a beat and got to work helping Nate and Justin, just as if they'd been there the whole time. This group worked extremely well as a cohesive unit. Nate, Justin and Daniel also took extreme care to ensure things were wrapped up. Each one, at different points, asked about different furniture pieces to ensure they were wrapped up properly, made sure things weren't left behind, and clarify that certain things were staying behind. The care and speed at which everything was taken care of was astounding. All said and done the townhome I live in was loaded up in 2 1/2 hours. I've already unpacked my kitchen and not a single item was broken.

I was just as impressed with the unloading crew as the loading crew. The whole truck was unloaded and into my new apartment in about an hour or so. Again, they worked as a very effective team. One desk was proving to be a problem to get through a doorway due to an added on part. Ayriell was quick to set to work disassembling the desk so that Lucas and Jeff could continue unloading the truck and I heard a lot of communication about who was bringing what up, where certain pieces were, etc. Lucas and Jeff were great about clarifying not just which rooms pieces went into but also where in the room I would like them placed. All three were quick to reassemble all the furniture at the end.

We paid Interstate Moving and Relocation Group (IMRG) to provide us moving services from Rhode Island to Tennessee. They picked up our belongings in Rhode Island on 1/29/2023 and they dropped off our belongings in Tennessee on 3/5/2023. As a broker, they communicated to us that they would be the liaison between the carrier and ourselves and be available to aid in our move. They requested we call if there were any differences from the binding estimate at pick-up or delivery.

Buyer beware of this company. Horrible experience. Very professional and polite until your moving day. Low-balled my move estimate by over 60%. Assigned a local mover to us at the 11th hour with a 1-star rating and refused to find us another mover. Told us that they stand behind the mover and will stand behind us 100% if there were any issues. Of course, there were issues. Mover tried to raise the price on us twice while in the middle of the loading the truck. Eventually drove away the day before my house was to close with half of my belongings still in the home. Rather than supporting us in their role as a broker, Interstate sided completely with the mover and became rude and unprofessional to us in the process.

Interstate contracted out my move to a completely incompetent mover called Kimvik. They disassembled my furniture at pickup as contracted but did not reassemble at delivery, leaving my stuff in pieces. Quality of work is non-existent - many boxes were completely beat up and flipped every which way with no care and several pieces of furniture are badly damaged. Kimvik has refused to reimburse their incomplete job and Interstate has passed the buck and refuses to hold them accountable. In addition the claim process is a nightmare and designed to make you give up; they only accept mail-in forms and physical photos, as well as documents that were not even provided to me at delivery in order to process the claim. Interstate will tell you what you want to hear and refuse to take responsibility while their contractors string you along for months. Worst moving experience I've ever had, their practices are completely predatory.

The move from Virginia to Florida started with an Estimator coming to the house to do an evaluation of what was being shipped. He took pictures, provided advice and gave us an estimated cost and total weight (10,000 lbs). He was within 100 pounds of the estimate. Moving day was confirmed and the driver, arrived that morning with a crew of 4 and they were professional and friendly. They had us packed in about 4 hours. We were provided a confirmed delivery date and on that morning at 8AM when delivering the driver arrived with a crew of 3 and they had everything in the rooms, set up, and assembled within 3 hours. Everything went perfect! We had no breakage or damage and it was a pleasure moving

They started with a phone/video walk through our house;the sales consultant took photos of everything that we wanted to move. He then sent me what they estimated for weight and cost. They offered several packing options, and we chose to do most of the packing but had them wrap all the pictures. The team leader showed up at our house as scheduled, and we then walked around the entire house and marked every item that goes and what room to go in the new house.

From the first point of contact, the team were fantastic to work with. After some initial phone-tag I was able to get the movers set up with only a week's notice. We moved ahead with the three man crew after quickly receiving a quote for both a two-man - and three-man - crew. It's a good thing we did. A week later, on moving day, I was falling ill. Since I was out of commission, keeping my dog out of their way, the crew swiftly packed the truck asking all the right questions along the way. As an added bonus, they were able to pack loose items into massive, used boxes which they left with me after the move.

They came for a move assessment a few weeks prior to look at the scope of work and advise on things I should keep in mind like, turning off the fridge 3-4 days prior, getting pallets to keep storage items off the ground, etc. My move involved a lot of items that needed to be packed for storage so we packed on one day and moved the next. They are definitely storage experts - they wrapped all my items with great material and care. We labelled and numbered and had a sheet to track which items were in which box. On both days, they were very professional, on-time and efficient.

I did an interstate move with, relocating a 5 bedroom home and 2 motorcycles 150 miles, and the entire process was flawless. Absolutely perfect. From the initial conversation until the final box was carried into our new home, I was consistently impressed with the office staff and the moving crews on both ends of our move. Everyone I met actually cared about what they do and how satisfied I was with the process. Everything was packed and moved carefully, on time, and the service was courteous and professional.

We had a crew of 3 people and one truck. We had things moved from storage unit, our old house, and moved it all to our new house so 3 stops total. They wrapped everything and used blankets even though we had things packed up so the extra care was appreciated. They were careful and respectful of our things, and unloaded the truck quickly. We have a two story and they definitely moved quickly and efficiently. We had a washer and dryer that needed to be moved upstairs and we couldn’t have done it without this crew. The guys were all so nice and helpful.

I used Interstate Movers twice within six months and they were phenomenal both times. I called them for a last minute move. They answered right away and were very prepared. Set it up in the first call. They confirmed a couple days before and called me on the way to give me a heads up. The guys were gentleman and very professional. They were also quick and strong, exactly what you want to see in movers. I had five highly professional skilled movers move my five bedroom home into pods then unload the pods into my new home. They took apart beds, tables, and other large items with ease and reassembled them upon arrival at the destination. Nothing was broken, bent, or scratched. Each man worked extremely hard and was respectful of my property.

So myself and my two teenage daughters moved over the weekend. We booked a truck and two guys to move us. We were living in a second story townhome and moved into a first floor apartment. The time slot we were given was 9:00AM. The moving team called to say they were on their way. They arrived and were already starting to load our stuff by 8:50. These two guys work so great together. They were very friendly and had a great sense of humor. Although it was weird for us to just sit back and watch them and not help it was so nice to see to coworkers work so well together. The stuff we did not wrap ahead of time they were quick to wrap. They moved all of our stuff with ease and respect.

I was having an estate sale at my mother's. The person handling this for me called two days before I was handing her the keys to the house to inform me that a piano that I was keeping needed to be moved to the garage. It was located on the second floor. I called the movers on a Thursday afternoon. The front office were more than fantastic. Because it was a piano, the lady who was handling my request wanted to put a specific employee (I think his name was Eugene). They were able to reshuffle his schedule and work me in for their minimum two-hour block of time the next morning!! I couldn't believe it. I received a call from Eugene informing me that they would be 30 minutes late, but it would not affect my two-hour block of time.

This five star review is for Eugene. He was the supervisor of the team that moved us in on 12/11/21. He did an outstanding job organizing, managing and motivating his team to give the best service possible. His upbeat, can-do attitude and winning smile, along with a jovial sense of humor made a long day much more enjoyable. The trust he inspired with his attention to detail, knowledge of the inventory process and the support he gave us turned what could have been a harrowing ordeal into an opportunity to appreciate the fact that there are such wonderful people in this world as Eugene. He has found his calling and Interstate is lucky to have him on their team. Thank you, Eugene!

I can’t say enough about the experience I had with Interstate Relocation and Moving Company and with Angel the manager in particular. From the time I signed up online for a storage unit through move in today, Angel was incredibly helpful, positive, thorough and confidence inspiring. She is exactly the kind of manager you want: one who carries out corporate policies with her own personal style and friendliness, so you feel that you’re dealing with a local business rather than an international conglomerate. The site is incredibly clean, Angel even cleans the common areas every day and check all the locks to make sure that they are all in place daily. I’ve used storage lockers before but this is a new experience in safety, cleanliness and customer service. Interstate Relocation should make Angel a corporate officer, she helps transform the business “from good to great”.

Jason and Robert were incredible! They showed up to my place early and cleared my entire moving truck out in 1 hour and 15 minutes. They were really nice and professional and even gave me some local suggestions for finding great thrift stores and fishing spots. Jonathan was my initial point of contact and it took one phone call and a text to set everything up so last minute. One local moving company was booked up and another company wanted to charge me $1,000... Interstate relocation and moving company only cost me $200. I would definitely use them again. Seriously, incredible service. Thanks again, guys. Y’all saved me and I don’t just mean money.

This company quoted a low price after an extensive phone conversation. This included all the details of what had to be moved. 3 days before the move a representative called to confirm the details. First the pick up date was suddenly variable. Then she determined that all the items were not included in the original quote so the price was increased by more than 20%. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will cheat you.

If you are planning on moving you must read this entire review. This not only applies to the companies I am reviewing, but to all moving companies! Beware! I hired Interstate Moving and Relocation Group based on their reviews. I never used a moving company before. I spoke to a broker and signed up with the company thinking they were reputable! I was not aware of the 60 cents per pound replacement if you did not buy additional insurance. Which on my contract shows 6 options starting at $250 up to $1500. What's that all about? You get a link to a "Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move" It is 27 pages long!! Really? These moving companies get away with paying you just pennies for your broken items! My damages came to $1600 and they paid me just $134, because I was naive and uninformed! I was not aware that moving companies could even get away with this!

BUYER BEWARE!. Classic BAIT & SWITCH tactics. UNETHICAL business. Boiler plate response with complaints. IGNORED correspondence from multiple ATTORNEY GENERALS and returned Certified mail. This business lacks integrity.

Moving can be stressful at times but these movers were timely, efficient, polite, and careful with my valuables. I've moved a few times over the last 15 years and this was by far the least stressful. The company was recommended to me by a friend in San Jose. They used their services for moving from San Jose to New York for college and, to their surprise, nothing was either lost or broken. I used their website which has an easy-to-use interface to book for my move from San Jose to Houston. From moving size to additional services such as shuttles and manual carries, it all felt so professional. One thing that I really like in their website is the Moving Cost Calculator. Knowing an estimate of how much the move will cost and confirming how the fees were calculated from an agent made the experience reassuring. I also appreciate how the moving team arrived a few minutes early for my booking because I didn't have to sit around and wait. Overall, their professionalism and level of service are topnotch and I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is planning on moving.

Those guys were amazing! They answered me quickly, did their job as real professionals and it was on a fair price. Everything with my belongings was all right - nothing missing or broken. I was very worried moving to my current location a few years ago because I had heard a lot of bad experiences while moving with stuff getting broken or missing, I have a huge set of glassware that was very important to my grandmother, and so I called Interstate Moving and they were so compassionate and understanding, other companies I called just told me to not worry about it and tried getting me to pay them or trying out their special promotion but interstate moving listened to my worries and they assured me by telling me how they could package the glass to minimize the possibility of it breaking as much as possible, when the day came for them to take my stuff the people were so kind and professional about it, they took extra care every time I told them something had to be handed carefully, and when I finally moved I was amazed to find that everything was in perfect condition, so I always recommend going with interstate moving if you want to be a little bit less stressed when moving.

I went through a Interstate Moving and Relocation Group for my move from Illinois to Montana - they subcontracted Best Price Moving and Storage for the job. I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Professional, timely, and polite throughout the process. 3 movers came and wrapped my furniture, stored it in Chicago, and chartered a semi to ship my goods across country. When the movers arrived to unload yesterday, there were no hidden charges or fees. The movers on the Montana end were also professional, timely and polite. I cannot thank them enough for helping me with a major move - I couldn't have done it without their assistance. Pro tip: Put Apple Airtags in a few of your boxes - it helps to monitor your belongings while they're transitioning and definitely helped my peace of mind.

We had a great experience using Interstate to help us move across the country. Their communication was spot on which is really important. Every delivery timeline they met on or ahead of schedule. And, nothing was damaged or missing during the nice.

Agility made the move really easy. Details were discussed and agreed upon ahead of time and nobody hustled for more money. Crew did superb job on packing and practically nothing was broken practically....

First off, broker company, they have no idea who is taking your stuff or dropping it off. They will haggle with you on the day of the move on already agreed items and weight and jack up the price of your move. They said they would relocate my motorcycle for $400, then on day of the move said it would be $1200 because they didn't realize they couldn't put stuff on it. Had to sell motorcycle. It took them 3 months to get me my items, they claimed they had that many business days to get it to me. They kept telling me over and over it would be there in 3 days, this went on for months.

I was given a quote of $3342 to move my STUDIO apartment to the east coast from Minneapolis and the IMRG employees all assured me that as long as I was below 2500 lbs that I was OK and won't be getting surprise charges. On the day of the move, the movers the company hired told me that the rate is actually based on volume NOT weight, raising my quote to $5372!!!! Again....a studio apartment worth of stuff! I had no choice but to say yes because I had to move out that day. I was entirely misled by the broker company and conned into a BAIT AND SWITCH operation.

Good service, awesome skill, reliable and the team were fantastic, worked really well and did great teamwork and made the move a lot easier. HIGHLY recommend!! Will use them again. Also recommend to others. Thank You!

This company did not deliver on one promise or contracted service. Movers were hours late, held items hostage from moving till paid $3k more than contracted price. My wife had to help them move items on to the truck all the way till 5:30am the next morning, YES they worked all night till 5:30am because they showed up so late. Customer service was rude, has not resolved the issues with their lack of packing things, tagging items, and the overcharge upon arrival. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, I CAN'T WARN YOU ENOUGH.

Do I have a single good thing to say about this company? No. I was lied to, told that my delivery would be there on the day I requested. It wasn’t delivered for over 2 weeks later. They were 24 hours late to pick up. The original broker underquoted me by over half the square footage necessary. Leading me to have to run to the bank to get another cashier's check for over 1k dollars (with another bank fee for that additional check). Otherwise my option was for them to pack as much as they could, and I would be responsible for finding another way to move the rest. They did this purposely, and the movers (who were hired out) explained that this regularly happens, that people are underquoted so the price sounds better. They listed furniture and equipment as significantly smaller than what I had described.
