    I received a called about my plan payment. When I returned the phone call the person on the other end could not tell me what or explain what the plan was. She told me that all she do was collect the payment, which upsetted me. I told her I´d pay the monthly amount once I found out what the coverage was for. And I did and now I know, so I made the monthly payment.

    I have corrected the new account payment. My payment for May was refunded to me with no information. So after waiting for about 3 weeks I called to find out why. One person gave me a different address, so I waited for a week to go by. I called again. That person had to find out some information then she got back on the phone and told me what was going on. It would have been very personal for the company HOMESAFE to send a email explaining what the confusion was about.

    We received a letter stating that we were "past due" for the home warranty monthly payment. We called and learned that we were not past due and that similar letters were sent to other customers because of a computer glitch. HomeSafe should now send a follow up letter assuring customers that the letter was sent in error and the issue is resolved.     Whenever I've needed to use the warranty, it hasn't been applicable. It hasn't worked out much for anything. I had a well that needed to be taken care of and that wasn't covered. So, I don't know how much longer I will continue. But I recommend HomeSafe as long as you know that it's limited.

    I purchased this after receiving a cold call from a Homesafe sales rep. The proposal: this home warranty covers all major home systems, appliances, AC, plumbing, etc. This sounded great! I signed up, and paid the monthly dues. 6 days ago my AC goes out, it's summer in florida so it gets hot. I remember I've been paying for this service so I file a claim.

    I call in explain that the AC is out, they schedule someone to come out here. Great. Homesafe tells me they require 1. A cause of failure 2. Diagnostic 3. Cost. I provide them this information via email. 72 hours go by and I have not heard from them. The contract states they will review and approve or deny by 48 hours. Finally I reach out. They claim they never received the information even though it's attached and also summarized in the body of the email.

    They then get combative and make additional requirements that were not expressed earlier. They need a picture of the cause of failure. This requirement ignores the cause of failure from the professional that came out to my home to give me an estimate. In my case the AC had a leak somewhere. If this leak is not in the coils or not visible it would be impossible to get the claim approved. The fact that only 25% of the Freon in the unit remained indicates a leak. That alone should serve as enough for Homesafe to approve a claim. The invoice wasn't for an entire new system, that would cost well over 10K.

    In order to detect where the leak is the HVAC company needs to repressurize the system, add freon, and add a sealer that would chemically seal the leak and then IF the leak persisted the chemical would be visible via inspection with a UV lamp ONLY if it wasn't in the wall. Homesafe is requiring this unecesary step in order to approve the claim.

    The HVAC company told me it's common practice to make it rather impossible to get a claim approved by these ridiculous requirements. This has been a learning moment for me about HVAC and about how bad of a company Homesafe and Armis LLC are. I hope this serves as a warning to anyone ever considering signing up for this fraudulent service. There are better home warranty companies out there that will actually DO what they claim they will do. Thanks for reading!

    I've submitted two claims. With the first one, the tech was not in their system. So, I just paid for the person and sent them a copy of the bill. That seemed to work okay but we're having trouble getting the payment back to me. I told the reps about it and they're very nice and helpful. But they don't understand why the payment is not coming through.

    With my second claim, I had an upright freezer that wasn't working. I called the same tech who worked on the ice maker and he fixed it. He said that over the years, sludge and dust got in the drain and so it was stopped up. I sent HomeSafe a copy of the bill already paid. I got that payment. HomeSafe has been trying to help me get everything squared away. The first payment should have been put in the same place as the second one.

    HomeSafe could better service their customers' needs by finding local independent plumbing services to servce their homeowners' contracts.     Scam, Scam, Scam, Beware!!!! They stole my money. I filed a claim for my air unit and I should have known it was going to be some bull. The second tech I called out to repair told me so once he heard I had Homesafe. I had to pay the fee non refundable once they came out let’s say X2 because I had to get a second opinion. The first barely knew how to open the unit which was a waste of time and then I had to contentiously follow up and upload documents because they claimed they never received documentation x2 and then after second option which was way different than the last that couldn’t see, he specifically said it was a leak that couldn’t be determined. Even if he wanted to fix the unit he couldn’t because they didn’t make it anymore and he could lose their license. Still no response or updates after two weeks but they continue to take out payments. I will be canceling this asap and writing reviews elsewhere about these scammers.

    I sent in two claims, one for the dishwasher and one for the oven. The dishwasher has been satisfied, but it took a long time to get that satisfied. The stove still isn't satisfied and it's been three months. The valves on the stove where the jets are up on top won't turn. There's only one eyelet on the top of the stove that I can use, and I can't turn that off. So I've had to burn that at the lowest rate for the last three months because if I try and turn it off, gas gets in the house. So I'm really upset and I'm still waiting.

    HomeSafe told me to contact local technicians. I've had to contact two different technicians. The first one came out and I had to pay them, and then HomeSafe reimbursed me. He was the one that said that the valves needed to be replaced. But he never got back to them, so I had to call HomeSafe and they said, "Well, get somebody else." So I called and got another company. They came out for both the dishwasher and the stove. They did the dishwasher but the problem was they had to get an 80 something dishwasher. Because of the way the tile is on my floor, they had to get something so they could cut it out of the way. When they finally came back, they did a good job.

    They also checked the stove and they said the valves on the stove needed to be replaced. HomeSafe is not satisfied. They wanted the diagnostics in a certain way and then they don't call back anybody, so I gotta call them and have them contact them. It's just been a big mess. I still have that jet burning 24/7 and all cooking now has to be done on one jet. I was told that they could turn the gas off. But when you turn the gas off, I can't use anything.

    I haven't been satisfied with anything that I've gotten from HomeSafe's customer service. It's like once it's been turned over to the service people, it's out of their hands, and if the service people do not give them the diagnostic report the way they want it, it's not their problem. Until they get it like they want it, they can't make a determination whether the stove has to be replaced or you can work on it.

    I had a problem with my washing machine. It was still working, but it was making this loud screeching noise when it was spinning. I called HomeSafe and they told me they wouldn't cover that because it was still working. Finally, it came to the point where it was still making a noise and started leaking water. They told me to get a contractor which I didn't want to. I wanted them to get the contractor, somebody they knew, because I don't know anybody.

    They gave me this guy who came out and looked at the machine. He saw the metal in there and the water that was leaking out of it. He said the machine needed to be replaced. The machine is 23 years old and he told me he was gonna send that back to recommend HomeSafe to take care of. They needed to see pictures, but didn't take pictures. He wasn't coming back out and I wasn't gonna pay another $65 co-pay for them to send another contractor out. It kept going round and round. I just purchased a new washing machine last Friday. It cost me $600. The purpose of me buying the warranty was so I wouldn't have to come out of my pocket like that.

    The same issue came up with the heat. The guy came in and looked at my furnace. The heat of the furnace wasn't working. I was smelling gas in the house. He told them the heat exchanger was cracked and was leaking fumes out in the house. HomeSafe offered me $800 which is not gonna pay for the furnace because you gotta buy everything. The new furnace and the air conditioning unit is hooked together. I decided to cancel the coverage because I didn't feel like going through this again with these people. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

I kept calling HomeSafe back and the rep told me that they didn't have anybody in my area. I canceled it. If they don't have anybody in my area, what am I gonna keep paying them for? And if they don't serve my area, they should have told me that from jump street.

    The sign-up process at HomeSafe wasn't bad. But I called yesterday to file a claim for my refrigerator and I really didn't like the way it was handled. You call them, they give you a number, and then you find your own person to fix your refrigerator. Before it can be fixed, LG's gonna charge me to have someone come out and look at my refrigerator. Then I have to submit a form to HomeSafe for approval. It's a back and forth thing and I don't like that. The whole process is ridiculous. I'm dissatisfied.

    I went with American Home. They got really expensive. They got ridiculous. They couldn't fix my electric issue. So, I went to HomeSafe. With all the companies I had, no one could fix an electric issue in my house. HomeSafe sent this guy out, and he said, "You mind if I go through your attic?" He went through the attic and fixed everything and got stuff that wasn't running before. With the last experience I had when my faucet was running, they didn't fix it. One lady said, "Well, maybe you can get somebody on your own." So I went and got somebody on my own, and they said, "Well, you didn't send pictures." So I took my camera, and I sent pictures to them.

    After I did that, then it went on, I said, "My water is running. Damn it." They said, "I'm sorry." I said, "I'm tired of hearing I'm sorry. That's not getting my water bill done." After all this, I sent them pictures. I even had the technician call them, then they wanted to know how much the parts was gonna cost and this, that, and the other. Finally, they decided they did not cover corrosion. I just went and find me a guy to fix and pay for it.

They said it had to do with my well water because my water is too bad. But they're not going to fix the leak.     When I submitted a claim, I was disappointed I didn't have an opportunity to talk to somebody. I got the thing asking what was the claim for and then it said to give my credit card, $99. They put the claim through but I never got to talk to a person. It'd be nice if I can call and get a person. Even if they had a chat feature, on the website. Then, the tech came out and they left a mess behind. Also, the thing is that he did $345 worth of things to bring it into code and I had no idea I was gonna be on the hook for that.

They gave me a list of four people to call for them to come out and check my microwave. they were to determine whether it should be replaced or fixed. I called three of the names and they didn't work out. HomeSafe gave me the last one. He had my invoice with the wrong name on it and it took me forever to get that straightened. Once I got it straightened out, I waited another week. He still didn't send the invoice in. He told me that I had to do it. It was a mess and a headache. I was gonna cancel HomeSafe this morning and the rep said she would give me $10 off my monthly bill. I'm still thinking about canceling because I can just go out and buy one without all the hassle that I had to go through. I wouldn't recommend this home warranty to anybody.

    I was told how much HomeSafe was gonna charge per month and I can live with that. The rep talked about different things. It insures up to 10,000 bucks on different things whereas when I was with the Select Home Warranty, they didn't go quite that high. After I talked to the first guy with HomeSafe, I thought about staying with Select Home Warranty. But I went ahead and upped my plan for another coverage then I decided to back out. I called them up and I'm in limbo. I put up $2,600 and I'm waiting for them to square up and put it back as a credit toward my card. I’ve contested that, so my credit card people are checking into that.

    I probably would need a little more information on how to file online with HomeSafe. It talks about different things and it gives you a little bit of something there. But with Select Home Warranty, they had a number you could send it in and their site. I wish HomeSafe could go ahead and initiate something like that. You can do a claim online 24/7. Usually, I was always called back to follow up on the claim. As far as getting into the program with HomeSafe, it was fine.

    Ice was freezing up too much in my refrigerator and some water was coming out. I submitted a claim with HomeSafe and they told me to call someone to come in to look at it. When I signed up, their rep explained that when you have a problem with an appliance, you can call. But they didn't tell me that I would have to find somebody. They said they would recommend whoever they have on their things to come out and fix the problem, and that they'd go from there. Then it'd be as simple as getting the extra service bill and mailing it to the people.

    The contractor I had was good. He told me exactly what was going on and that he had to call in to Samsung because that was the type of refrigerator I had. And they said that they no longer sell that part. I just paid him for the service and he put on there why it couldn't be fixed and told me to send it in to HomeSafe. But after I sent that in, I haven't heard from anyone. They were supposed to have sent me the reimbursement, so I'm still waiting on it. It's going on two months now.

    My dryer went out and I had a technician diagnose it. The motor is burnt. It's going on two weeks and it cost me $125. But I'm still nowhere. Each time I call, it's a different excuse. The technician did what he could do in writing but HomeSafe did not accept it. They gave me the runaround. I'm paying my money every month and did what they asked for. It's still not good enough. What's the point of having insurance if when something goes out, they don't wanna provide me with anything? It's frustrating and it's a shame.

    I asked HomeSafe how the process went and they were really helpful, except I had to sit on the phone for a long time. The claim submission process was easy, although I wasn't real impressed with the feedback I got because whenever I tried to file a claim, they denied it. I had a claim for my microwave. The handle broke off and they told me that they wouldn't cover it because it was not due to the functionality of it and it was due to misuse or abuse. We're super careful and there was absolutely nothing we did wrong to make that happen. It was just a crappy part. I was not happy that they did not cover that.

    I also put a claim on my dishwasher at the time. I started to smell an electrical fiery smell and I realized that it wasn't draining in the bottom. They told me to have somebody come out, file the claim, and they said it was gonna be a $40 deductible. When the guy came out for the dishwasher, he said that it was just a little tip of a cup that was stuck in something that spun down there. He pulled the tip out and it was such an easy fix and the dishwasher worked perfectly. He charged me $110. If they would have covered that, it would have been 80 bucks but they didn't cover anything. But I'm still keeping the plan just in case, heaven forbid, my air conditioner or my furnace goes out. Those are the two big ones that I'm concerned about so I figured I'd hang on to it anyway.

    My whole home is covered from my septic system to my new heat pump. But my first claim was questionable. We had a cold snap and I developed a leak in my kitchen and bathroom faucet. The first company wanted to charge $1,200 for a faucet. HomeSafe and I said, "No." I ended up spending $175 and bought a brand-new faucet for my kitchen. The installation for that was $280 and the installation for the cartridge in the bathroom was $180. HomeSafe said, "Well, you got overcharged. We're only covering this amount." But I had already gone through three different quotes and that was the lowest one. I was pissed. That was not what I was paying for. I said, "Well, I'll leave. I don't need the coverage and I can stick the money into a savings account." The lady rep ended up giving me a $10 discount which over the course of 10 months, would make up for whatever money they didn't cover on the first claim. But the fact that they didn't cover the full amount peeved me.

    Another time, I had the ice machine go out. They fixed that and I paid $65. So, I was happy. Everything is straightforward with them. As long as the amenities here are covered, I don't care.

    The people that I dealt with from HomeSafe were all very courteous. But the vendor that I had to take care of my experience was horrible. It was the first time that he had worked for HomeSafe. My oven broke in October. It's a gas oven and the oven part broke. The tech came and looked at it. He said that he thought that it was through the clock part. That was a little strange. So, he left and didn't do the paperwork or the evaluation right for HomeSafe.

    I was under the impression that within 24 hours, we would get an answer from HomeSafe. But I didn't hear anything. January was when I got the follow-up. If they didn't hear anything from me or if they were having trouble with the vendor, I should have got some follow-ups. I had to contact HomeSafe. I said, "Is my oven gonna be repaired or what?" HomeSafe said, "Your vendor didn't send us the paperwork with his letterhead on it. We're waiting for that." So, I called the vendor and said, "Send them your letterhead. I wanna have my oven repaired." Because it was coming up on November. He sent the letterhead. It was back and forth.

    Finally I said to HomeSafe, "You need to have this guy gone. He's absolutely terrible." Because he had submitted different things until it ended he wanted to charge them $700 for a 26-year-old oven that he couldn't repair. Finally, HomeSafe said that they would give me a new oven. And that was fine. But it wasn't until January 19th. I was not happy with that. I told HomeSafe that and they accepted that. They listened to the story. They tried to do what they could do to get this going. But it didn't seem like we could get things working until we got rid of the vendor.

    You don't spend a whole bunch of out-of-pocket money when you have a home warranty. But the home warranty I had kept going up and I don't really make a whole bunch of claims because I try to keep everything up in my house. It's just every now and then, things go. I found HomeSafe and they had better prices. Customer service is also very nice. They always hear what you have to say and try to help you. They also offer you to get somebody else. But I don't trust anybody else and I’d rather for them to give me someone. This way, I know it's guaranteed. I've gotten someone that helped me get my microwave done so he was pretty good.     They've been forward, honest, and good when it comes to submitting a claim. Customer service is better than what I expected. A lot of times, contractors look at the job and say that they can't do it unless it gets approval. But since HomeSafe does approval first, that eliminates that problem. Some contractors are hustlers while others are honest people. But HomeSafe lets me use the contractor I know which is good.

    I would like for HomeSafe to do more coverage on the water well and soft water systems in your house. I would also like more coverage for when you have a sink or faucet that needs replacement because of time, rust, or a gasket. But they won't because that's usage and not damage. They'll replace those under any other condition as long as it's not rusted. Replacing a sink and a faucet nowadays will cost you anywhere from $800 to $1,000 just for that. Then I have to go buy a sink and put it in. There needs to be a system where if your sink or faucet needs to be replaced that it can be done for a set price and still be covered regardless of whether it's broken or worn out because that's what happens in time.

    I keep getting mail thru the USPO from these people that says an uncle of mine (who has never lived here) has his home here and that his warranty has expired! Total **! He has never used this company and has never lived at this address to use that company here. The letter alludes to they need an answer NOW. The letter goes on to say that he should call immediately to activate. Again Total **. This company is not a responsible company and only wants money targeting senior citizens. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I already have a complaint in with the Better Business Bureau. I called them to complain about their practices with only an apology. Again! Disgusting!

    The washing machine started having trouble. I couldn't unlock the door and it wouldn't spin. From the get-go, I was not happy because HomeSafe said, "We will give you a list of people in your area. Wait for an email 24 hours or 48 hours." But I never got a list. Finally, I called them up. They were just going through the yellow pages. I asked, "Are all these people going to take your coverage?" They said they didn't know. They weren't helpful at all. They should have just said, "Look it up and figure out." These places that I called wouldn't take HomeSafe. You don't know who's going to take HomeSafe and who's not until you give them a phone call. I had to pay whatever the amount was then get refunded for it.

    I had somebody come out, and he did an estimate of $1,300-some. He submitted it to the company and the company said that they would only cover $499 of it. The call was 127 and HomeSafe covered 65. It didn't make any sense to have a $1,300 old washing machine fixed. The bottom part of it's rusted out. The guy that was gonna fix it said it was not gonna last. At any time, it could collapse. I had to purchase a new one and would have to put in the rest of the money.

    HomeSafe said they would give the money that was going to go towards a new washing machine but I don't understand why I only got $500. It says they replace up to $2,000 on a washing machine. Apparently, the parts that broke were not covered. It doesn't make sense, but it's better than nothing. I ended up getting a washing machine that was on sale. With the hoses and the delivery, it cost me $829. It would have been nice if the whole thing was covered.

    HomeSafe is less than the company I had prior which was a lot harder to work with. When I was sold HomeSafe, the guy said to just hand the the repair person the book and they'd do all the work. But they don't wanna do that so it's misleading that you think it's all gonna be taken care of. You still have to do all the work.

    We had HomeSafe call out an electrician to work on our appliance and on our dishwasher. They got a number, and we paid the service charge of 65, and that was the last we heard about it. It took about a week or so to get somebody here. So, we called the first person that they gave us the name and they never called us back. Then we called a couple of times and finally got somebody who said that they were gonna have somebody on it right away. The second person that they called was here in a day or so, and he was in and out and did a great job. Everything is working great now. All it was was a wiring that came loose inside of it. The length of time could have been faster but we would recommend the company to somebody.

Also, I got a couple of bids in for more work that has to be done, and I haven't heard anything about it. So I'm in the process of looking for another company.

    Our experience with HomeSafe has been amazing. My first file was an electrical issue with my bathroom. The lights weren't coming on in the bathroom. I called HomeSafe. They checked my account. They called me back within an hour and told me the name of the contractor, and that he'd be calling me to set up an appointment.

    An hour later, I got a phone call from the contractor. He said he was coming tomorrow. He came over and it was a little bit more complex than he expected, so he called HomeSafe and said he needed a second electrician to work in tandem with each other just to fix the problem. This was not a problem. HomeSafe approved it. They came back the next day and they fixed it.

    He was the most polite, friendliest contractor I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen such great service from any company. HomeSafe surpassed all my expectations. Furthermore, I was so happy that I called HomeSafe the next day and I added every policy that I could for my home. I've been living here for 25 years and I've never had a claim except for my dryer and my light. I signed up for every service at HomeSafe, even the pipeline service.

    We had made a claim to HomeSafe for the ceiling fan last year. This year, we were going to do one for our stove. We couldn't find a repairman. My husband ended up fixing it himself. When my husband tried to find a local repairman to start the process, there were none in the area that were available other than Sears and they wanted $125 service charge. My husband said the part didn't cost $50, so he ended up doing it himself. So, we didn't do anything with it. Overall, HomeSafe has been very cooperative.

    I submitted a claim over the phone, and the rep didn't know what she was doing. A repair guy put in the reset button for my microwave and it still didn't work. He came out and had to switch a wire. He told HomeSafe that and they wouldn't pay it, so I had to. I also had a plumbing problem. I had to pay it, then they paid me, which was stupid. Another one is that every time I use the dishwasher, it throws a breaker, so there's something wrong there and nobody's been out here for that. That's been two months ago, and I'm not happy. The technicians have been fine. It's just HomeSafe. They're dummies, and I'm about ready to cancel.

    We have reviewed your claim and it looks like the service technician reported that the cause of failure to the dishwasher was that it was not wired correctly.     I've been paying HomeSafe for about a year. When my dishwasher went out, they sent a repairman to see about it and he said the motor had died completely and there were components going out on it. This dishwasher worked for 10 years and I don't know where the components were supposed to have gone. HomeSafe was very nice about it. The rep couldn't understand either that there were no components. They needed to get in touch with the repairman to see if he could give them more advanced directions. They haven't gotten back in touch with me. The dishwasher cannot be fixed and the repairman said it would have to have a new one. HomeSafe wouldn't pay for me a new one because of what the builder put down in his report. I'm not happy. This was the first time I used the service. I told them I wanted to stop my plan.

    I was wanting to see if there was something better than what Consumer's Power pushes out. I got HomeSafe through CarShield and since I was a member, they gave me a discount. I was curious about what they covered. During the sign-up, I hardly did anything but said okay. Now that I have this warranty, I know that I can get something fixed right away if I need to. If I have an issue, I just call them up and they will direct whatever service person I need and set up an appointment. If you don't have a home warranty, better get something unless your appliances are brand new.

    I have all brand-new appliances but I still got HomeSafe. Just like everybody gets an automobile and policy, they never know what's gonna come up but they would like to be protected. This is especially true with the AC and living here in Florida. I'm 80 years old and I'm on a fixed security budget so I have to watch every nickel and penny so that I don't need dollars and cents to lay out because a waterline broke, my sink got cracked, something happened to my AC, or somebody hit a lawnmower. It's hard to get money out of a LoanMart service. Also, I got my grandson with me that's 25. Kids nowadays could care less how fast they open the refrigerator door and it bangs up against the closet then it's ruptured.

    Everything's good so far. I tried to print out the HomeSafe policy so I could put it in my file cabinet. I never got one so I called back and told customer service about it. The rep asked for my name and policy number. I didn't know any of that. I did it over the phone and did a one-time thing. I paid X amount and then I was gonna be billed X amount every year. I asked, "Can you send me a policy or an email that I did spend the money?" Within 24 hours, I had everything I needed. That experience was quite well.

    If you don't have HomeSafe, get it because you never know when something's gonna happen. You may get a storm through and your homeowner's insurance doesn't cover it so you have to have double coverage. You don't know when you're gonna die and you might have half a dozen siblings, a wife, or a mother around somewhere and they're going to live in your house and they don't have the money to fix whatever's broken or even get it back together before they sell the property.

    They were not very nice people to deal with. They didn't pay me anything for anything. I sold my property that was covered by HomeSafe. I called and told them I needed to cancel my account because I no longer own the property, but they just kept billing me. All companies now seem to have one group for billing and one group for actually doing the work. I only used the group for doing the work at HomeSafe three times in the two years I had them. They did a good job as far as handling my problem, getting a service person out there, and getting the problem fixed. But HomeSafe has a billing problem. There were some billing issues getting the service person paid. But we finally got him paid. MEPCO is the company I'm dealing with that’s handling the billing, and they're nasty people.

    When I had claims for an electrical job and air conditioning repair, HomeSafe let me use people that I have been using for 10 years doing AC and electrical work. It took a little bit to get the guy that did the air conditioning work set up to get paid. I had no problems with getting workmen out and getting a repair done. The problem was getting people paid.
