Everything is great with Granite Transformations. They did one of our bathrooms and it all went very well. It's almost a year ago now. Their people were professional when they did it and they put it in very quickly.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you are still enjoying our revolutionary products in your bathroom, and we would value the opportunity to present our products to you again should your future needs warrant additional services.

I want to see my cabinets but didn't want to tear my countertop apart. I didn't want to have my whole house torn apart for more than a day or two. That's why we went with Granite Transformations. We actually called for their services twice. We had our kitchen countertops redone, and then once that looks so nice, we put a couple of cabinets in the corner in our kitchen. We had them come back out a second time and do that, plus they did our bathroom. When they came back the second time, we saw the same kids do the same work, and they were probably a little over a month away from doing the upstairs cabinets so we're going to do a third call. They're great people and I'd definitely recommend them.

I looked for Granite Transformations online initially just for the estimate. Then, I bought from them stone countertops for the kitchen. The guys who installed it was better than any I have ever encountered. And when I saw a blemish on the countertops, I called, they responded within the day. I couldn't be more happy. They have great products and a great team. I've recommended them to several people.
Thank you for your review. We appreciate you choosing Granite Transformations for your kitchen countertops, and we are thrilled that you are happy with the results.

I needed some new countertops, and Mike, who was remodeling my house, told me about Granite Transformations. The sales representative and installers were really kind and fast. Everybody showed up when they said they would show up, so I highly recommend them. It was a pleasant experience. And I like the quality. It was excellent.
Thank you for leaving a review. We appreciate your feedback, and are overjoyed that you are pleased with your new countertops. We appreciate you selecting Granite Transformations, and would value the opportunity to present our products to again, should your needs warrant additional services.

Overall experience with Granite Transformations was good. It was quick and easy and I like it. It holds up well. The only thing I don't like about it is when I've been cutting on one of the counters and you can feel it and it's not smooth like the other part.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We sincerely appreciate it and are glad you are enjoying your new countertops. We hope that you will enjoy the beauty and durability of your new countertops for years to come. If you should ever have any questions about the product, please don't hesitate to give us a call and we'll be happy to help.

The Granite Transformations team was very good and very friendly. They just seem on top of everything and know what they were talking about and were reasonable. They were willing to come out to the house with no charge and give me an estimate and show me some samples. I had them put in some glass tile backsplash in my kitchen. The quality of their work is good. It looks really nice like they just installed it. They are very nice, very polite and very fast. I have not one complaint about them. I would use them again and would definitely refer them.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad that you were pleased with your experience with Granite Transformations, and we hope that you continue to enjoy your backsplash. If you have any needs now or in the future, we would value the opportunity to present to you again. Again, thank you.

I had Granite Transformations do my Kitchen counter top. I'm happy because they didn't have to do any demolition. They just put it on top, which I really like and I didn't have to worry about a backsplash. It was pretty painless and they did an excellent job. The sales representative was very good and the installation team was great. I even called the company to tell them how pleased I was. They met my expectations. The only problem was that there was a bit of a delay in it getting here. Somehow the one I ordered didn't get on the truck for that time but once it got here, everything was fine. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We hope you are still enjoying the timeless beauty and durability of our products in your kitchen. And yes, the trouble saved from no messy demolition (not to mention reduced impact on the environment) is an important factor when choosing who to hire for a remodel. We would value the opportunity to present our products and services to you again should the need warrant. Again, thank you.

I saw Granite Transformations' advertisement on TV. I thought it was interesting and I happened to be in a place where I was driving near and was easy for me to stop by. The representative came over to our house one night and brought some samples with him. He was very friendly and offered a quote, which we thought about and then contacted them a couple of days later. They installed a new countertop and a new sink in the kitchen. It's a good quality model. And for the amount of time that we've had it, well over a year, it's doing real well. I'm very satisfied.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you selected Granite Transformations for your new countertop and sink. We hope you are continuing to enjoy the timeless beauty and durability of our products in your kitchen.

We wanted to redo the countertops in the kitchen. I am very pleased with Granite Transformations. My only complaint is they had an older gentleman and a younger gentleman. The older gentleman was very meticulous and did a fantastic job on one side of the kitchen. The young man apparently was learning and seemed to be in a big of a hurry. He cut a piece too narrow, and there's a pretty good gap at the backsplash. But other than that, everything went good. I'd recommend them.

Working with this company has been very frustrating and a long-drawn-out process; which is still ongoing unfortunately. It started in July 2014. I worked with their Austin, Texas office to get their recycled glass counter tops in my kitchen. It all started with VERY pushy saleswomen leading up to the install; which should have been my first hint to steer clear of this company. Upon completion of their install (Aug 2014), there were several issues when the installers were done for the day (summarized below). Long story short, I tried for weeks to resolve with the Austin and was later informed by the warranty departure (whom I also reached out to during this same time to escalate) that the office was closed. So from this point (Oct 2014), I was informed my primary contact for the corrections would be handled by the office in Grapevine, TX (by a Warranty and Claims Specialist). So from this point, I continued to regularly reach out to my new contact in the hopes of getting the corrections taken care. I received very little to no follow-up and basically a "take a #" attitude and many un-returned phone calls and emails.
The last update I heard from them was in late October, was that they would schedule me in 8-12 weeks. I am now (Jan 2015) attempting to get more information from them to schedule, but having a hard time making contact. So we are going on 6 months post-install with still no firm word on when/if they will correct the issues. So this is one concern with the company. The second being the actual issues during install. I am basically embarrassed to have people over to my house and in my kitchen. My counter tops look very DIY. In summary, bold seam lines (white raised line on brown glass counter tops), caulk around sink does not match sink or counter tops - all brown but the caulk being a different shade. Also has white specks and uneven sloppy layout. Sections of the counter top edges have visible internal caulk - areas where they didn't completely cover with the glass and/or you can see my prior existing title popping out. Corners/edges look scuffed. Bottom edge of the aprons are jagged. They cut them in my home on install day so they are rough edges. To top it off, half of my kitchen has one-size aprons while the other side has shorter (off by about an inch). Photos of all issues were provided to the Grapevine warranty contact.
Long story, I regret ever working with this company. My counter tops look worse than the tops I had prior (granite looking for an updated look). I spent thousands of dollars on them and at this point feel like covering them with concrete or starting over but the thought of that kills me since they are 6 months old and they cost me so much. I am continuing to wait for the Grapevine warranty department to follow through with their assurance that these would be taken care of. I'll update this review if/when this ever happens. I would not recommend any branches of this company. Poor customer service and poor quality/installation.
Providing customers with the best possible experience is our number one goal. We are frustrated your experience has not been the best and appreciate you allowing us to correct the situation. We learn from every situation and look forward to changing how you feel about Granite Transformations. I am happy that we have a service technician scheduled to visit your home.

I went online looking for granite countertops and saw Granite Transformations. They were a little lighter and the way they install them... they hadn't go and tear out my countertops. They did the overlay type deal and then it really fit my situation. I was impressed. It came out what I had anticipated and what I was hoping for. The thing that I really noticed the most is they really pay a lot of attention to detail because they had to go around some things and do some trimming here and there to make everything fit like it really should and they went that extra step too so they look very professional. They did very well and more than I expected.

We contracted with Granite Transformations in May 2013 to have our kitchen remodeled. We asked for new granite and refaced cabinets. They were supposed to start in July 2013. The owner emailed saying there was backorder on the granite. In August 2013 she emailed saying there was a training issue. In September 2013 we found out she "retired" leaving customers in the lurch after having put half the cost down.
So corporate in the form of Jim ** stepped in to finish the program. Nothing happened until November 2013 when the Granite finally went in. The cabinets were started in February 2014. First the entire lot had to be reordered. Then one crew after another came and went completing a little bit of work each time. Finally a steady crew came in began working. Work continued until May 2014. Doors didn't fit. Seams were peeling. Nails came through the cabinet. The grain on one drawer ran 90 degrees opposite of all other doors. The work director said that when all was finished she would do an acceptance inspection to make sure all defects were corrected. In August 2014 the counter started to show defects. The kick plates were still not installed. False fronts began to fall off.
In October 2014 I contacted the work director via email who just happened to check her Granite Transformation email and informed me that my local business was closed in August. No one bothered to contact us to ensure the work was done. What class. In October 2014 we received a bill from Granite Transformations asking us to pay the remaining bill. Yes, that's right. They had the gall to ask for money for this garbage they put in my home.
In November 2014 my husband finally sent an email via their contact form on their public web page because we couldn't get anyone to contact us. A warranty representative called. She talked to my husband saying she would get someone involved to get the work done. She never called back. No one called back. In December 2014 I emailed the warranty representative demanding she contact us. Nothing. In January 2015 my husband finally got hold of the warranty representative who promised someone will contact us in a week. Next stop for us... a lawyer. This company is unprofessional and does not honor its contracts. The product is garbage. Almost TWO FULL YEARS and my kitchen is still not completed.
We learn from every customer experience. It is never OK to have a long drawn-out installation process. I appreciate your patience and heartfelt frustration as we work to address your concerns. The closing of this location impacted your installation and we are truly sorry. We are committed to getting this right and are grateful you are working with us to that end. We are happy that we have a service technician scheduled to visit your home and look forward to resolving this matter to your satisfaction.

On 16 JUNE 2014, I signed a contract and "paid-in-full" to have granite installed in my master bath. Carol - Design Consultant. It took over 2 1/2 months to get the product and another three weeks for installation. They provided an extremely poor inferior product; shorted two pieces of back splash; and the installation was the worse I've ever seen. Installer broke several pieces, failed to properly align seams, used excessive caulking, smeared caulking on cabinet facing, on counter top, and floor, and the three counter tops were not of equal measurements. Installers failed to clean up the work site and Granite Transformations failed to reconnect plumbing. Folk I've talked to were, Carol; Brian; Lucretia - Warranty & Claims Specialist, Mr. ** - General Manager in Grapevine, TX. It is now 22 Oct 2014, four months/six days after the contract signing and no resolution. Both Lucretia and Mr. ** promised full refund of $2,923.00 and I have yet to receive my check.
Now the Austin, Texas store is closed, I have an inferior product in my home of which I have to pay to get removed. Every day this company takes to refund my money costs me more. Please, please protect yourself and do not contract with this company. FYI, they also use the name "Trend USA". If I could, I would post the product and work on this site. Maybe when I get home, I will.
Dear Charles,
Thank you for sharing your frustration. I want to personally assure you that I take your experience and concerns seriously. All issues have been addressed with our staff. Your purchase price was refunded in full, and I regret that there was miscommunication. I appreciate your candor and have implemented changes so this does not happen again. We care greatly about our customers and are committed to total customer satisfaction.

They (Granite Transformations in Chesterfield, MO) ripped out our old sink and THEN said they couldn't do the install because the cabinet needed a support added. A GT employee came to do the work the next day (as a side job) and shoved a block of 2x4 wood (ruining the look of our sink cabinet). They couldn't come back to complete the install for 3 weeks. We complained and their response was surprising-unsympathetic and downright rude. I would never suggest this company again. They could have made it right, they could have cared, but our "modest" sized kitchen didn't offer them "much of a profit margin" so we were left with a "you don't matter" feeling. Ugh. Now we have to figure out what to do to have our kitchen cabinet look finished and that will cost us more $$ after spending several THOUSAND dollars on the GT countertop.

The sample they showed me at time of purchase was better quality than final product. The glue process they used to bind edges (to make flawless seams) was sloppy. Can still see how rough it is. Looks bad. They wanted to do my fireplace and I'm glad I didn't purchase that given how poorly my kitchen/bath counter look! It looks cheap and was not cheap to purchase! Will never use them again nor will I recommend them to others.

They installed new countertop and backsplash tile in the kitchen. They made a large seam in the countertop that was extremely noticeable. They came back three times to inspect the job and said they would fix it. When they came this week to fix the problem they said there was nothing they could do. While I believe this is efficient way of upgrading with granite and believe in the durability of the product, I have recently had a disappointing second experience with this company. A project a few years ago was nothing but perfect.
This time, however, the consultant was so confident about helping me with my decision that I felt pressure during our appointment and ended up making a decision that I now regret. The product colors are all Identified with Italian references which is more than a little confusing. Some colors have remained the same but by a new name. I ended up choosing a color that I simply am not happy with and feel that the interactions with the consultant and his "fast talking" me ended with a confused and poor decision. You have little time to question your choice and they expect immediate payment. I was discouraged from using my credit card and payment via check was expected on completion of the job which had run into too long of a work day for the installers. That led to two callbacks to correct end of day installation errors.
Upon contact with the consultant, he refused to take any responsibility for the fact that I felt that I did not get what I wanted by simply pointing out that I got what I signed for on the contract. Please be cautious with your color choices because they are very confusing and it seems that it is not hard to make a decision you end up having to live with.
We are sorry to hear about this experience and ask that you communicate your concerns to the local store where you bought from. We can assure you this is not the norm in terms of the feedback we hear from our clients, and we do want you to be 100% satisfied as well! We do sincerely appreciate your business.

This product is horrible! Cracks and breaks easily. Corporate trainer used a sharpie to conceal a crack. Do not purchase products from this company. They do not stand behind their warranty and it's misleading and fake. Think of granite transformation products as a fake acrylic fingernail placed on top of your original sawed down nail bed. The acrylic nail eventually turns yellow, lifts and falls off... Just like granite transformations countertops. The glue used to attach the slab to your countertop is just like the glue used to attach a fake nail to your nail bed. Be aware of their fake overpriced scam!!!

The individual that purchased this franchise should not be in business. I went through the whole process going store, picking out some samples that I thought would match, having someone come to my home with the samples. I made my selection. The woman called to find out if there was enough product available and there was. The nightmare started when I noticed the installer was putting in the wrong color (the product I did not select). The owner was out of town. I had to wait until he returned. The original product I selected was out of stock. My bathroom was tore up. I felt like I was stuck with this company because I had already paid half. I had to go back to the store to see if there was something close in color. There really wasn't but I made a selection anyway. I want to get the word out to consumers that this company shows samples of products that they do not carry. They seem professional but it is all a show.

In seeking bids for the granite work, TV ads indicated it was a less expensive method and one day install to transform kitchens and baths. I googled the local franchise and called. The company would not provide any cost information on the website or phone. During a home visit for a quote, the salesmanship was outstanding and had a great pitch; however, the cost was 3x more than real granite at slightly over $90 per sq ft! The product is more expensive than quartz, corian, real granite or any other hard surface materials. It is a polymer granite mix with a 10 year guarantee; has limited color options; and seems to be a very poor choice for the reasons stated above.

I saw Granite Transformations on HGTV and searched online. I contacted the Tampa office for Granite Transformations. The sales person came out and did his sales pitch and gave us a discount if we signed that night. We were influenced by HGTV and thought it would solve our upgrade needs with an easier, quality product at a fraction of the mess (and cost). WRONG! The customer service experience was horrible, the product is inferior, the mess was horrendous, the calls to customer service in Tampa were not reciprocated in a timely manner.
Overall, we were (are) unhappy with the entire product, experience and customer service. We wish we would have gotten the real thing and paid less in the end. RUN from this product!! We hope we never experience a problem. I doubt they will be around. It is that awful.

I assumed granite transformations would be cheaper than real granite. We got an estimate for 5,000 and wanted to wait but the salesperson talked us into putting down a 200.00 deposit. In the meantime, I got an estimate for real granite and it was 3,000. So five days later (their policy is 3 which I didn't know) I asked for my deposit money back and they would not give it to me. Not good business practice if you ask me. They just want your money.

While installing the counter tops, the workers hit the refrigerator and dishwasher (both stainless steel) and dented them. The appliances were brand new (as we were redoing our kitchen, hence the granite). They denied doing it and the manager we spoke to basically told us it was our problem. The manager then stopped communicating with us despite out attempts to reach him. Stay away.

This company is highly disreputable in my opinion. Their salesman came to the house, gave me a bid, and asked for half of the cost as a down payment. They immediately cashed the check for the down payment, then kept putting me off about coming to measure and do a template for the counter tops. The next thing I knew, I got a letter saying they were sorry and they were filing for bankruptcy - two weeks after they cashed my check. They told me what I would have to do to get part of the bankruptcy money in several months. Their salesman again contacted me to say people were coming from Utah to complete the job. Once again, after that initial contact, he couldn't be reached. I started calling several times a day leaving messages asking that he please let me know what was going on - no response. I think the way the company has handled this entire situation has been cruel and totally dishonest. I would never deal with them or their sales representatives again.

The salesman came to our home to provide a free estimate. We asked for a basic black granite countertop for our kitchen and master bath. He brought out his samples and we carried them around our home choosing two different colors, 1 shade of black for bath, 1 shade of black for kitchen. He then took his measurements and calculated prices. The pricing was good enough so we agreed that we would make the purchase. We returned all his samples back to him, showing him our selections. Before I signed the paperwork and paid for half of the total sales price, I asked him if he was sure that he knew what our color selections were. He said he knew them. Then I signed the paperwork with the pricing and he finished up filling in all the details like sink selection, back-splash options, color selection and future templates/installation.
On the day of installation, my husband was on his 3rd day post-op from shoulder surgery. I had asked the company beforehand if this would be a problem. They said it wasn't as they perform installations when no homeowners are even home. My husband was on two very strong medications that day which made him very incoherent. I returned home after work that evening and 3/4 of the installation was already complete. The counters were still covered so they would not get scratched during installation and the small portions that were viewable were still covered with resin and glue. Come 8:30 pm, the installers finally finished.
As they were loading their vehicle, my husband and I was already arguing about how this wasn't the color option we had chosen. He was adamant that I should not pay them the 2nd half of the bill which was due before they left. I, on the other hand, still needed to put the kitchen back together again, feed my invalid husband, and prepare for work the next day. The last thing I needed was a two-hour argument with the police which I figured was likely to happen when the installers decided not to leave the premises without being paid in full. I was also confident that the company would fix the mess. After all, the countertops were fully installed already and could no longer be removed.
I signed and paid, but was on the phone with the company the very next day, telling them there was definitely a horrible mix-up. At this point, the owner agreed to completely redo our kitchen, only charging us whatever his cost would be. But he said we would have to wait until after the Christmas holidays as he was booked solid until then. Plus, he mentioned that he wanted to wait and see if our countertop 'grew' on us. They have done anything but 'grow' on us. We absolutely hate our kitchen now! It looks like a glass disco ball was shattered into pieces and got mixed into the composite material. Each place your eye catches a glass shard, which is just about everywhere, it looks like the granite is chipped and defective.
How in the world is this glass infused pattern the company's basic black countertop? That's what I want to know. Could we have been any clearer with the salesman about what we wanted? We vehemently believe he simply wrote down and ordered the wrong color. When we bring this up with them, they claim he's never made a mistake before so it couldn't possibly be their fault. I challenge anyone to name a human being on this earth who hasn't made a mistake!
As of now, the owner has changed his mind and revoked his offer of replacement at cost. Actually, he refuses to do anything to resolve the matter in any way. We refuse to sink another dime into this countertop as we've already paid $4,862.50. We will fight this tooth and nail, suing in small claims court if necessary! I will also warn anyone I come into contact with against doing business with Granite Transformations.
