I was initially very pleased with my Electrolux microwave; however, my experience with warranty and customer service has been extremely disappointing.

In May 2025, the microwave handle broke, rendering the unit unusable. Because the appliance was covered under both the manufacturer’s warranty and an extended warranty, I contacted Electrolux for service. During the inspection, the technician identified additional issues, including a nonfunctioning timer, alarm, and clock, as well as a fan that would not turn off. A complete replacement door was ordered.

When the technician returned to install the part, only the handle had been delivered instead of the full door, requiring the service appointment to be rescheduled and the part reordered. In November 2025, 6 months later the new handle broke failed again. A technician visited briefly and ordered another replacement door, which arrived approximately one week later.

Multiple installation 4 Appointments were scheduled in December, including all to be rescheduled visit in December, all resulting in no call and no show. (while I took the days off to be there). After numerous follow up calls and several hours (over 40 hours) spent with customer service/ management, another appointment was scheduled for January 2, 2026—again with no call and no show.

Following again further escalation calls with management, the next available appointment was scheduled for January 20, 2026, almost two months later. I called and confirmed the appointment for January 21 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.; however, once again, no technician arrived and no notification was provided. Each interaction with customer service/ management results in the same response—apologies, escalation, and rescheduling—resolution to reschedule another 1- or 2-week s out.. If they had a cancellation they will call me.

At this point, nearly two months of repeated missed appointments, broken parts, and unfulfilled service commitments have made this situation unacceptable. I have repeatedly taken time off work only to be met with no shows. Based on this experience, I will not purchase future appliances from Electrolux or Frigidaire. Keeping my fingers cross. Let see if they will show up next week January 28 for the appointment. Well AGAIN NO SHOW OR CALL after I have called to confirm this that morning.

I can’t review the appliance, because I haven’t received it yet. I ordered a dishwasher, a range, and a refrigerator from Home Depot on 12/3, and was told upon ordering that delivery would be tomorrow, 1/15. On Monday 1/12 I got an email saying my delivery is confirmed, and to be on the lookout for an email with a 4 hour delivery window. At 12:20 today 1/14 I messaged the Home Depot chat bot, and was told my delivery window was 12:00-4:00 pm on Thursday 1/15. At 2:15 I get a text saying my delivery has been rescheduled for FEBRUARY 14TH, less than 2 hours after confirming it would be here tomorrow.

The range is back ordered. It’s not delivery issue or a weather thing, the appliance doesn’t exist yet. But Electrolux (maker of Frigidaire) didn’t tell Home Depot this until 22 hours before scheduled delivery. Meaning I took off work to accept a delivery that was never coming, and Electrolux knew this. They won’t ship other items that are in stock, because it would impact warranty. At this point I don’t care about warranty, I want my items when they were promised (multiple times, as recently as this afternoon). I sincerely hope the quality of the appliances are better than this company’s communication, because this entire situation is absolutely ridiculous.

We recently purchased an upright freezer. We were told that it had left hanging door capability, which we needed for the placement of the unit. Left handed hinge was supposed to be included. So we follow the manual and take the door off. Can't find the left hanging hinge. I phone Electrolux and after 3 calls find out why the hinge was not included. It hasn't been made yet!! We have been informed that it could be months until we get this part as it has not been made yet!! Not very happy. We feel that we have been deceived. It was advertised as being right or left hanging. I don't have a lot of faith in ever getting this part.

HORRIBLE REPAIR SERVICE!!! This was my first new refrigerator purchase ever, and we bought a new Frigidaire side-by-side. It didn't even last 3 weeks before the fan motor went out, freezing our vegetables below, spoiling the creamer up high, and melting all the ice in the ice maker. We reported the issue, got a technician out fairly quickly, but then things got worse. Electrolux did not have the actual part in the repair inventory, but supposedly had a similar part. That part was on back-order.

The frustration really came week after week when neither myself nor my repair tech could get an update on where the part was, when it could be delivered, or what other options we had. After a month passed, my tech finally found a repair part by himself, but we'll see if it works. A good company would have replaced the entire refrigerator as soon as they couldn't repair it in a timely manner. Once they have your money, they could care less about you. Highly DON'T recommend, and will make sure I know what brands fall under the Electrolux umbrella and avoid them in the future.

Horrible customer support and repairs. We used their washer and dryers for our rental units and they will lie when about when they are coming out, ship parts to the wrong addresses, and constantly delay repairs. They just claimed that the technician spoke to me and I told them the tenant was not present and they left even though I did not even receive a phone call from them. Then they claimed the technician tried to call me and I didn’t answer and that they knocked on the tenants door even though they have ring and no one stopped by. Same call same day two different stories. And now they are rescheduling for a month out and even though we explained the situation to their supervisor no one cares.

We have been waiting for 2 months on a repair of a 2 year old combination microwave and wall oven. We called in for repair and it took 3 weeks for the tech to get here. THEN, he comes and says he has to order parts. As the part are coming in we wait another 4 weeks for someone to come. Okay, you would think today is the day... but NOPE. One guys shows up when the original order requested to for repair because of the weight of the unit. Now, we are livid. The repair guy shakes his head and tell us that he we have to reschedule. Something must have happened to the system to lose all of our information.

My husband and I are incredulous. How is this OUR issue? We asked to speak to a manager or someone that could help us. He tells us he has a number for us to call but he can't call anyone. He shrugs his shoulders and walks out the door. We then phone the number he gave us and they tell us that we have to wait another 2 weeks! What has happened to customer service that it becomes the customer's fault that you suck at running a business? Stay clear of this company. It's not worth the stress.

The quality of the appliances are terrible but that is nothing in comparison to trying to deal with warranty repairs and customer service. THEY DO NOT HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The customer service people take calls in the Philippines and have no idea where you are in this world. They say they will call you back but that never happens. It took me a year to get the really bad dented doors replaced on a brand new refrigerator. The quality control does not exist. The water dispenser doesn't work since the doors were replaced. They have one repair company to take care of repairs and that company has one refrigerator repair person. If he is busy or sick, you have to wait until he is available; is that customer service????

We paid too much money for 4 appliances and 2 of them are bad so far in less than 1 year. We have a dishwasher that doesn't dry the dishes and the repairman said that is the way it works. We should have bought a Bosch or a Whirlpool. Do you have to go to COURT AGAINST all these COMPANIES for the MONEY YOU'VE GIVEN THEM, EXPECTING A RELIABLE PRODUCT and reasonable customer service. We need more people to refuse bad products and atrocious customer service, demand compensation for loss of use of the products and your time spent trying to resolve issues.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Electrolux regarding Ticket #**. In October 2025, my Electrolux dishwasher caused a major water leak that damaged the ceiling of my basement. This was confirmed independently by both a licensed plumber and Electrolux’s own technician. Despite this, the support process has been nothing but frustrating, repetitive, and unprofessional.

Over more than a month: I had to send the same pictures and documents multiple times, even after agents confirmed they received them. I received contradictory answers from several representatives. I was promised reimbursement for the technician fee on November 4, yet the company has still not processed it. Every time I followed instructions, a new agent would come in and ask for the exact same information all over again. What should have been a straightforward resolution turned into an endless loop with no accountability or follow-through.

To be clear: I accepted that the company would not cover the full repair costs due to warranty limits. All I asked was for Electrolux to honor the reimbursement they had already committed to, and even that has been repeatedly delayed or ignored. After weeks of trying to resolve this professionally, I am left with the impression that my case was mishandled at every step. This experience has been one of the worst customer service interactions I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend Electrolux based on how this situation was handled. A company of this size should not make customers fight this hard just to receive what they were already promised in writing.

One month and more than 10m calls later they still hadn't sent it out and THEN I was informed I'd have to go through another customer service office since I live in PR. There I was then told I had to go thru Amazon for the replacement. Amazon told me It was past the return date so they could not honor any warranty, but could return my $$. And then proceeded to charge a fee of $80 on a total sale of $151.00 So NO, DON'T BUY IT!!

We have the extended warranty on our 2020 washer and dryer, which is about to expire. Luckily, the washer was still under warranty when an internal valve failed causing flooding. This in turn, also led to the need to replace the motor. It has now been over 2 months that we are waiting on a backordered motor. Appointments are cancelled and rescheduled weekly. To date, 5 appointments and still no sign of the motor. This is absolutely unacceptable. How does a company not stock basic parts? Seriously wondering if they are just waiting for the warranty to run out. Customer Service is no help at all. It's basically a call center for scheduling appointments. The reps have nothing more than basic information which is also frustrating. Honestly at this point, I doubt my machine will ever be repaired. Absolutely poor customer service for Frigidaire Electrolux repair service. They appear to be contracting out the work to local contractors that they do not vet, and there is a scam going on in Chicago. They made us pay $369.00 up front for "guaranteed" repairs and "guaranteed parts." A tech came out, took a picture of our refrigerator and then refused to inspect it for fear that "the refrigerator had not been properly sanitized." And the tech said he had to leave. When I inquired about another appointment, he told me it would "be about a week and a half". So when I called to cancel and requested a refund, I was told by Frigidaire Electrolux that "the technician came out, so they will be paid for the visit, so we will have to review giving you a partial refund." It is a scam.

The technicians have no intention of doing anything but what they are doing: coming out, proving they are there via a picture and then making excuses about why they either cannot inspect your appliance, why they cannot stay and/or why they cannot get the parts. Do yourself a favor and either get a NEW appliance, or get Jimmy the local repairman to repair it. Do NOT both calling them. It is a total waste of time and energy.

Well Electrolux sent a service technician the very next day to evaluate my busted Frigidaire refrigerator, unfortunately the parts were two weeks out for repair. One of the parts may not show up then because it was allegedly on backorder. So I set my repair appointment up for two weeks, and five days before that, Electrolux automated system said the "parts are not going to show up on time and we've canceled your appointment, please make another appointment." Sorry I obviously rescheduled for the week after.

Well, two days before my original appointment, all the parts showed up. For their own benefit, obviously, my original appointment was canceled, however all the parts showed up on time. I found this frustrating. Southern Arizona is not a really good place for a family not to have a refrigerator. They are unable to change my appointment, so now, four weeks without a working refrigerator in the house will be a bit disappointing. Hopefully this does do the fix. I am surprised the government has not shut this ponzi scheme down. It is an absolute farce. I bought a wall mounted air conditioner through Walmart. ca. The original unit was unavailable through Walmart so they sent unbeknownst to me a discontinued unit. The unit did not work. I spent 2 weeks making phone calls through Walmart to learn they discontinued using their AC units. Eventually I got through to customer service. They sent a tech who confirmed the unit does not work, it is obsolete and needs a replacement. I then sent the serial number and the bill of sale to the back order desk.

After 6 calls over 5 weeks and the absolute worst customer service I gave up. I had to give up on a $2500 AC unit, get a rental and then purchase another unit through Wayfair. The worst part other than the hundreds of dollars in bringing in installers and modifying the duct work to accommodate the rental unit was ordered in early April. The unit failed in early July and our store had no air conditioning in the heart of summer. I then sent an email outlining the situation to the General Manager of Electrolux Canada and no response. Basically they stole $2500 of my money plus all the repair costs and wasted time on finding a rental and then a replacement unit. It's unfortunate our government does nothing to prosecute criminal behaviour from large and utterly corrupt companies like Electrolux. I would not wish anyone to buy anything from such a morbid fraudulent company.
