Great with communication and getting the time for repair set up with ease for me and sent me updated texts. These people are great and the tech is so good and friendly and always makes sure he leave my house in good order. I do not wish to deal with any other company for my appliance repair.

Topline Garage Door did a fantastic job. They called me less than 12 hours after I submitted the claim but I was on the road for work. Jay came out the next morning and was early for the 10:00 AM appointment and had it fixed in under 30 minutes. Absolutely top notch.

At first I just had to push buttons. When I finally spoke to a live voice, sound quality was terrible, and representative was not in America. They finally told me a service technician would be contacting me…That was 2 days ago…I’m still waiting to hear from them. I live on Maui. No local independent service person on island will work with Choice.

I was very impressed with the representative who signed me up for the Choice Home Warranty program. He gave very useful information in a pleasant manner. He carefully answered all my questions and was very patient as well as knowledgeable. After talking with him, I was aware that my previous program did not offer the benefits of Choice Home Warranty as well as being less expensive.

Jerry clearly explained the difference between the plans you offer. He also gave me a senior discount plan which I took advantage of. I have two properties, my home and my condo rental. He offered to set it up, so billing would show the rental separately to make my tax return easier.

I thought we were fully protected with Choice from all the great reviews I read. Our HVAC stopped working 3 years ago and the company they sent out did not know how to fix it. They ended up replacing part by part until they finally requested a new unit. Choice denied the request & sent another company out. I told the previous tech to try replacing the electrical motherboard but they didn't listen. The new company replaced it and the unit started working but every time the weather changed the unit would stop working. We made 5 claims about the same issue & and they would send someone out & service the unit. It would work until the weather changed again. The company advised Choice of a part needing to be replaced but they denied it. Once again we do not have heat and the company resubmitted to have the part replaced and Choice denied it again stating that there is a crack in the part and it's not wear & tear.
I'm sorry, we didn't put the crack in the part, and isn't that why we pay for the warranty coverage when things stop working? We tried to appeal the issue and we had a rude representative who didn't give a d---! It's 20 degrees and we have no heat!!! Needless to say, we canceled the policy and they refused to give us a refund for the remainder of the policy because we had a prior claim with our water heater. We were 4 months into the renewal. I'm ok with not receiving our refund at this point. It solidifies the kind of company we're dealing with. Good riddance!!!

I was informed that my dishwasher needs to be replaced. I'm waiting to find out what I need to buy a new one. I want to do it while they are on sale, but I won't be able to make that sale because I have not yet heard from Choice Warranty. I want to get it replaced ASAP.

I requested service on my 2nd fridge middle of June. It is now Dec. 4 and I still have not gotten service. I have called every 2-3 days and they say they will expedite but so far no help. That is uncalled for. Said I could call someone myself - then why am I paying to do their job. As soon as they get this fixed I may take them to court. Reporting them to BBB next week. Their competitor does a better job. Now going to call again x this week and it is wed.

Choice Home has 2 of my homes and for small repairs very solid. Recent refrigerator issue confirmed by their 3rd party confirmed my 14-year-old Kitchenaid not repairable. This was done on Nov 18th after setting up my claim on Nov 5th. I had to call numerous times because Thanksgiving over a week away. Supposedly waiting on Whirpool to upload document. Stall tactic knowing the predicament I'm in. On Nov 26th received declination email that system is covered by manf warranty and to contact Samsung. I have a Whirlpool product.
It's 2 days from hosting so I bought a refrigerator based on Guinco advising not repairable. I contact resolution team and because I was honest and advised I bought a new refrigerator and Solution Member agreed they would have done the same thing, I don't get money towards a replacement unit and after haggling they state $400 offer. I declined and complained that a 14-year-old machine is not under warranty and Cameo ** who I got on the phone today says I validated the Choice Home warranty as I bought a new refrigerator without their authorization. I told her I needed one for Thanksgiving.
I cancelled both programs as when I truly needed them, they dragged their feet for close to 30 days and I went without a refrigerator all that time. They have you in a corner and again I advised my unit is not under warranty with Kitchenaid and she stated I should have completed a form and uploaded advising. I am just a customer and no one emailed me. Complete incompetence on the situation and understanding I needed a refrigerator for my family. Buyer beware and learn from me. Small claims good but when it's for replacement they have you in a corner and don't give you any other options than what I had and then deny. Very disappointed in how I was treated and beware. I will be emailing corporate because of the situation they put me in 2 days before Thanksgiving after a Nov 5th claim submission.

I filed a request for someone to come to my home to find out why my heating system was not putting out any heat. Choice responded to my request almost as soon as I requested it. The technician phoned me to let me know the time he would be arriving and he arrived a few minutes before scheduled. I am embarrassed to say but, the technician immediately noticed that the problem was that I needed to turn two knobs on my pipes to let the hot water flow into the system because I have a forced air heating system. He checked everything to make sure that that was all that was needed and I was extremely happy that it wasn't anything serious. Choice is the best (fast response, good friendly technicians who are friendly and easy to talk to). Thank you Choice and Quality Ambient, LLC!

Signing up with CHW was easy and simple. The discussion was professional. I was given a choice of multi-year coverage. I preferred a single year for my own reasons. I will wait to use their experience keeping my appliances in working condition. The website was precise. I got total protection.

I am beyond disappointed with Choice Home Warranty. When I signed up, I was assured by the salesperson that EVERYTHING in my home was covered as long as the items were in good working order at the time. I even paid extra to ensure my pool equipment was included, yet when my pool pump needed repair, they REFUSED to cover it! Their excuse? It "wore out over time." Isn't that the whole point of a warranty? Things wear out, and they should be repaired or replaced as promised.
This company is deceptive and misleading. They happily took my money but conveniently found a way to deny coverage when I needed it most. If you’re considering Choice Home Warranty, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. They don't stand by their promises and are just another money-grabbing scam.

The water dispenser on the front of the refrigerator was not working. The tech replaced every part he thought would interfere with the operation. That did not solve the problem. Do I now wait for Choice to determine if I get a new refrigerator or what? The tech was great on 3 Dec; the tech on 2 Dec was not...said he rang the doorbell but I never heard it...after he left I checked the doorbell...worked just fine.

My Navien propane hot water heater would not heat water on Saturday morning. I checked a few items and then filed my service request. Choice Home Warranty Service Department responded within minutes and the specialist arrived on time on Monday. The specialist listened and observed the situation and then examined the probable cause and its resolution. He explained it all to me and ...I have hot water. Thank you Choice Home Warranty. The person that came by the house was very thorough and efficient. He fixed things that he saw was off and just did the work. Adjusted the doors that did not close correctly. He had the parts needed to fix the fridge and we did not have to wait for parts to arrive. He left everything clean when done. Very professional.

I put in a claim for a washer that was not operating properly. It did not finish the complete cycle and it began to smoke. I put in another claim for a leaking shower that has a continual drip once it is turned off. The customer service rep was very polite and helped me put in the claims quickly.

Filed a claim on Monday, an appointment was made for Tuesday. I had a conflict with the timing, the office staff was very helpful and made arrangements to accommodate my schedule. As it happens my conflict appointment was cancelled. So I called and said the tech was welcome any time. He was here 2 hours later. CHW gets 5 stars for service once again.

I requested Blaze Appliance Repair because of a previous job they did, and he did a great job to get my Dryer working. He is so knowledge with appliances and so pleasant. We had an issue with our dryer right before Thanksgiving. I reported the claim a repairman can put that Monday and they offered me money towards a new dryer due to not being able to get parts to fix the one I have. I had good experience but didn’t get the total amount needed to purchase a new dryer but it was something.

When I replaced the water filter, the water flow continued to be very slow. The technician that Frigidaire sent to repair my refrigerator was very knowledgeable and replaced the water valve. Once he did that, the water flow was perfect. He checked everything to make sure that the refrigerator was working perfectly. I am so happy.

I just got them like in September which here in MS we are still running ac so finally Dec comes and it starts to get really cold and I have 8 young children so we turn on the heat but it's not working. I called and put in a work order to have it fixed. Pay $85 dollars only for them to tell me it's not covered, it's a pre-existing issue. So I immediately cancelled. Me and my kids in the cold for winter. How would I know if I haven't turned my heat on for a year what's wrong with it. That's what we buy the insurance for. Am I correct. This company is a load of crock. We buy insurance for these reasons. Will never use again.

The technician who visited me was great :-) however, this was the third time my dishwasher has broken down this year. They finally decided to replace it, but I only got $350 to replace it. Needless to say, it’s impossible to find a dishwasher that cheap. Choice Home Warranty explained to me that they reimburse you at their cost. The problem is an individual consumer can’t find a dishwasher at their cost. :-( Not to mention that I had already paid $225 in service fees since this was the third time it had broken down. :-(

This year I have had things break in the house. Air conditioner, dryer, well pump and now my garage door cable. Thus far things have gone well with repairs except for the well situation. It would not take care of replacing a pipe that was connected to my water softener system.

My technician arrived on time and quickly began working on my home's heating system (which simply stopped working several weeks prior)! He quickly diagnosed the problem, taking care to fully explain the issue to me, without sounding condescending, which made me feel very confident about the work he proceeded to do. He also answered a few questions I had about how to replace the filters and how to replace the "door" covers. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience and would highly recommend this home warranty company as well as this technician!!!

Well, the company doesn’t seem to know what the right hands doing with the left hand but they did finally send somebody over to look at it and order some parts so we’re on that place. I guess they will call when the person comes in and then maybe we can have some heat.

The repair was done in a timely manner. The electrician was competent and helpful in explaining the problem. I had to move the bed in order for the ladder to be put in position. THE fan's remote was bad so he had to remove the sending unit. Now I have to use the pull chains to control the light and fan, not ideal especially for short or elderly people. Choice Home is a good company to deal with.

Very unhappy with the way Choice always seems to have an out with fulfilling a claim. First one was to replace worn out and cracked fridge/freezer door seals on a 20 year old fridge. Denied for not being normal wear and tear. 20 year old seals finally failed and not due to wear and tear. Doesn't make sense and arguing the facts were to no avail. Second claim for a leaking outdoor faucet on the wall just outside the kitchen. Denied repair since it was outside the foundation by 3 inches. Final and most recent claim for repair of a leak in a mini split. Despite the contract saying all parts included in an air conditioning system, the exclusions included the service valve where the freon is input which was where the leak was. This is a simple repair which I ended up paying $299 for but seems like Choice excludes those parts which probably need to be serviced the most. I've had Home warranties for 40 years and this company is the worst.

Joe from Flawless Sewer was very polite and professional in solving my problem. He is quite efficient and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him and Flawless Sewer to anyone. He even cleaned up all areas after he finished and tested the toilet numerous times to make sure it worked correctly.

I initially sent claim to them and the first technician assigned to the task demanded to pay him the fee $85 before even seeing what the issue was. I asked him to have a look at it and give me the report. He left without saying anything. Second and third time the other appliances guys came and took the money $85 each time and wrote the wrong report and attached it to my claim. Finally CHW said they are not covered in the warranty. So I paid monthly charge for few months $49 and on top paid $170 for my washer to repair. They didn't even refund it as it is still not repaired yet after 2 months of wasting my time with them. Bad experience and quit them.

It was a holiday weekend and my hot water heater went out. I had an appointment by the day after Thanksgiving and the repair facility fit me in. Choice processed my claim right away. I was surprised how fast due to the fact it was a holiday weekend. Great customer service.

I am disappointed that I have not received a callback or email from CHW about my latest claim. This servicemen, Richard from Long Heating & Cooling, told me that he would let CHW know that my heating unit needed to be replaced but as of today I still have not heard anything from Choice. I am afraid to go anywhere because of the fear that something will vibrate loose and cause a fire.

I had a previous representative come service. He changed my thermostat. It was new and had been working from Vivint. That monitor and control my system when I put the alarm on. He used YouTube and was having a problem installing the thermostat. And according to the last representative he wired it to only provide air not heat. I need to be reimburse the copay and have the vivint thermostat installed. Please feel free to contact me.

Choice Home Warranty has been very responsive and easy to work with so far throughout this process. When it rains, it pours as they say, and I have had many different things break just before Thanksgiving! Dishwasher, stove hood, and serious leak. CHW got people here pretty quickly. I've not yet received approvals on a couple things, but I've been pleased with the repair technicians/companies and am glad they're here to help!

At the recommendation of my daughter, I purchased Choice Home Warranty. When a crack was found in my furnace allowing carbon monoxide into my home, they said they would not cover the furnace since it was still running. I sent the technicians' report and they sent an independent technician to look at it who shut it off and red tagged it. Bottom line, Choice Home Warranty owes the company money and he was only interested in selling me his furnace and never completed the paperwork for the warranty company. After 2 weeks of no heat in freezing temperatures I paid a local company to put in a better furnace at a lower price than the guy the warranty company sent. I wasted all of the money I paid for premiums. Save your money.

Upon reporting issue Choice forwarded info to A1 Rapid Rooter. Within hours A1 Rapid Rooter assessed issue, replied back to Choice, Choice evaluated report and by late evening approval from Choice was awarded for replacement. A1 responded next day at agreed time and replaced new water heater, technicians were professional, clean and respectful,

Victor is a true professional! If you have appliance problems request Victor ** for your appliance repairs. Our built in Kitchen Aid microwave was having issues. it was sparking and spewing a toxic odor. Victor diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. He explained what was going on and told us the parts he needed to get. Victor came back a few days later and repaired our microwave. Couldn’t be happier with his service, and I’ll definitely recommend and use Victor again if any of my appliances have problems. I had a home heating issue, where I wasn't getting any heat from 3 radiators. It was going to be a very cold week ahead and I needed plumbing service immediately. I contacted Choice Home Warranty customer service in regards. My claim was inputted into the system. Due to the cold weather, it was hard finding a plumbing company to resolve my heating issue. Choice gave me the option to find my own plumbing company, which I did, and once approved they would reimburse me. Long story short, everything worked out, and I was very pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Thank you, Choice Home Warranty.

Everything has been Great! Until yesterday's water Heater install. Never called and didn't show up!!! I've been without Hot water heater since Spring and also without Heating and Air-conditioning !! Now I have to pay for charges. Took the day off for this installation!!! Furthermore, I also got a claim for my Heat and Air-conditioning #** back in July 11th that nothing became of that!!

During my last issue, my refrigerator stopped working. The technician and the company Epic in Houston, Texas was absolutely amazing. Tamara and Kevin went above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone that needs appliances to be worked on. However, Choice Warranty itself has failed me, and I will no longer be using it. My refrigerator called for replacement due to a leak that was unfixable. But their idea of a replacement is not accurate.
The amount that they wanted to give me to replace my refrigerator was unreasonable. I have a full size Kenmore refrigerator with an icemaker and their idea of replacing. It was giving me enough money to buy a mini fridge. Why would I continue to pay a company that is misleading? I will not. I would rather save my $50 a month, put it in a savings account and when my refrigerator breaks, I’ll have enough money to replace it. I would not recommend this company for a home warranty. I was a loyal customer for over a year and a half. But I will no longer use them.

Online service request is assigned to a contractor within hours for earliest possible repair visit. Love that Choice is focused on getting my appliances repaired as quickly as possible. Contractors are reliable and skilled. Issue is resolved once parts have been ordered. Since the parts aren't with the technician on the initial visit it would shorten the repair cycle if parts could be ordered before the technician leaves my home.

Call was answered promptly and repair information was given. LA Best Appliances was recommended. They said that they have to order parts and that they would contact me when they arrive and set up an appointment. Repairman was on time and courteous. That is all I have to say at this time.

My heat was not working on what were some of the coldest days we had experienced in a while. The technician came out and thought he had repaired it and I was getting heat again. Unfortunately it did not last. I called and they schedule him to come out again. He did return and diagnosed the problem, however he had to order a part and didn’t know when it would come it. It happened that it came the next day and he came to install it. Thanks for saving Thanksgiving dinner. No one had to eat in their winter coats. Great service!

I was very displeased that the first rep who answered the phone and took my service request told me that the microwave was not covered, when in fact the documentation I received for my contract specifically indicated it was. It leads me to believe that CSRs are not properly trained. The escalation person I spoke with clearly indicated that it was covered, and appointed a contractor to come within a week's time to investigate and repair/or replace as specified in the terms and conditions of the contract.

You always have some reservations when speaking to warranty companies. I am feeling confident about my decision to switch to Choice Home Warranty (Endurance as well). I was a bit dissatisfied with my other company. The representatives explained a lot of details. Time will tell if my decision was the correct one.

This company has been unable to offer us a provider for nearly any service - asking us to find our own. No local providers want to work with them because of their payment terms, so we are forced to front the money and then try to get reimbursed. There has been zero value for us to have this policy - we'd be far better off just paying for ourselves. Don't even bother with this organization - we wish that we hadn't.

My toilet is constantly running. I had to turn the water supply off when I'm not using it. Put my claim in online. The plumber that "Choice" has in this area scheduled me for Saturday, Dec 7th. I put the claim in on Nov 29th. This is unacceptable timing.

Company said that we had a power bump that effected our stove, to the point of damage (How would they know, without contacting our power company, or this is just standard excuse they use for electronic part outages). And this was considered not normal wear and tear which is what they insure. Also, we had a gas pack (Furnace/AC unit) go out, only to find out that they have a 3K$ limit a year on covered items, Our gas pack cost 7K$.

I was very pleased when I made a service appointment and I was scheduled for service within 24 hours. The appointment actually happened sooner than expected as the service company called and moved the appointment ahead. The service was performed promptly and efficiently to my satisfaction. I have used Choice Home Warranty before and I have always been pleased with their performance.

18 Nov I submitted claim for not operating, shorts out and throws circuit breaker. 19 Nov sent their own technician who verified problem, 27 Nov the technician said he was taken off the job? Numerous daily calls and e-mails and nothing is moving, going in circles. Now 1 Dec and nothing has been done, things are the same as they were on 18 Nov but the weather is much colder and I have no heat.

I placed claim on the 21st of November. And my heat has not been fixed. And I can't get in touch with the HVAC company. I spoke with a rep. from Choice and got nothing. The retention department did helping just want my heat fixed. I am thinking about dropping Choice.

The technician was pleasant and professional. He explained in detail the steps he needed to take. Worked efficiently and left no debris. He also recommended the best settings for the thermostats and encouraged and answered all my questions. My furnace is now running as it should. We haven’t been happy with this company since the start. Though repairs eventually get done, communication leaves a lot to be desired. And the usual wait time for service is long. In my last service claim, I wasn’t called to ask what day would work for us, it was just scheduled. A full week out! I called the tech, and he said I didn’t have to wait that long. He was great. The work was done quickly, and he answered all our questions. So my rating of 5 stars was for the tech, and the company that got called out, not for CHW.

Getting the technician out to the home was very easy. The technician who came was very professional and knowledgeable. The replacement however was very disappointing. The dishwasher that failed was no longer being made. The equivalent per the manufacturer was around $900. The offer given to replace was a gift card to Lowe’s for $246. The gift card only covered the install and hall away fee. How is this a replacement cost? I went with this home warranty company as my last one always seemed to find a way not to pay to replace items. I am disappointed that is company seems to do the same thing.

Our Garage DOOR wouldn’t open. We called made an appointment. Got a great company to come out - I called for an appointment and got it! He saw that a broken spring was the problem. He told us that we would need to grease the springs every six months - which is great advice. I appreciated his knowledge. He went right to work fixed it. Great job. I recommend this company!

The technician was great. He called to let me know he had finished his previous job early and he'd be right over, which worked out well for me. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Had an issue with my washing machine, called Choice Home Warranty & they had a technician come out to my house the next day. The Technician diagnosed my machine and reported back to CHW. Within 2 days Choice notified me that they were replacing my machine. Great customer service. Because of this experience I think I will be a lifetime customer.

It stopped working. I went online and put in a claim. I got an e-mail back the same day with a service time set up. The service company called me a couple days later to set up another time. When I submit a claim, it is answered immediately and there is service provided within 72 hours without any issues. The rates are good and the service providers have been professional. While Browsing I was asked personal questions when I called the toll-free number. Said he would call back in 15 minutes he would cancel me as I didn't want the offer. Wait! Called back and received a very welcome call. Now I'm enrolled in the plan. Thank you. Could you please look at the pic I have attached. If application for first free month and discount is correct. Tried explaining the share on the first agent that I didn't carry credit cards as a disabled Veteran, unfortunately, I cannot carry much of anything in case he still needs to know.

Had a washer replaced in mid Oct. Called 4 times and they keep telling me the check been cut and then the next time they say it's been canceled because I canceled my policy. I was never without a policy. The last call I made said they would issue the check and put a rush on it. We'll see.

I first contacted CHW to repair my dishwasher due to it coming on and off by itself and making a chiming noise before this happened, then at one point wouldn't cut on at all. I have had 2 technicians here to repair, starting with October 28th, and the last one was Nov 26th. Still today after 2 computer boards have been replaced and assured by the technicians that it was fixed, the dishwasher continues to make the same chiming noise, and turning on and off by itself. I have paid 2 $85 fees and still have the same problem so I am very discussed with the dishwasher not being fixed and wondering just how this is to be resolved, while I continue to get no satisfaction with paying monthly premiums for your protection, to find out I really have no protection as to getting a fix for the problem

Have been using Choice for several years and I continue to renew my contract every year. As my house is almost 20 years old, I have had several different issues with wear and tear of appliances and Choice has always been responsive. This is an absolutely terrible home warranty company. I purchased a house in May and was given Choice Home Warranty as our home warranty company at closing. A few months later, I had multiple black water leaks in my basement floor ceiling. The plumber that Choice Home Warranty sent out clearly did not want to do the work and he suggested "I place a pan underneath the leak". He did put in the warranty claim, and they denied it as this was not "normal wear and tear". I do NOT understand how this is not covered. It is unacceptable for a home warranty company to deny black water leaks in a basement ceiling.

The repair service communicated well prior to the appointment and the Tech was on time. It was Friday late in the afternoon but he was attentive and tackled the problem with energy and genuine interest. It is an old washer/dryer combo and he let me know right away that he needed to check that parts are still available. He explained that someone from his office will call when they have this information and would expedite a second appointment should it be necessary. I would definitely recommend the repair service and this tech in particular for great work, so far.

Over the last 12 months, 2 claims were filed. Each time, more than 5 days past, before a technician was scheduled. After receiving the notification, the actual appointment was another 5 days later. On the 2nd claim, the 1st technician was scheduled from 3pm to 8pm. The technician never contacted me to confirm the appointment, neither did they show up for the appointment. About 3 days later a 2nd technician was scheduled, for the very next day, at 7am-11. I admit, I live away from a major town, and a technician would need to drive, about 50 minutes to evaluate any problem. The 2 technicians who did take the time to assist with the claims, they were top notch, in my opinion.

Found our heating system was not working when we woke up to a very cold house. We spent the whole w/o without heat. Called CW again on Monday. We were told that you are not a emergency rescue company, but would try to get someone out within 24-48 hours. We finally got a company assigned to us for Tues. We called the assigned company and they said they would try to get to us that day.
They DID get there that day and found the heat sensor needed to be replaced. The technician didn't have one with him, but went away to get one, came back and replaced the sensor. Yay. We now have heat, just in time for Thanksgiving company. The tech seemed to not know that he was on a Choice Warranty service call when we gave him a check. We think he thought it should have been more. We gave him the appropriate amount for our policy. He understood and left. He was a very pleasant young man and knew what we needed and accomplished the task.

Most of the work has been satisfactory. There has been a couple of Techs that didn’t do what they were supposed to do but the Choice eventually made it right by sending someone else or making the original tech come back and do a proper repair. My microwave stopped working the weekend before Thanksgiving and I had visitors coming from Spain. There was not a repairman available in our area. So, after several days of trying to find a repairman, I was transferred to a case manager who authorized me to purchase a new microwave. The case manager told me they will be sending me a check for a portion of the invoice. I have had a few claims with no problems. I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty. Actually, I have recommended them to many friends.

I explained everything very clearly and you can tell Customers Service is reading from a script. I think it would serve Choice well if people in Customer Service had some field experience. I’m a 30 year electrician, so kind of easy to tell when you’re talking to someone with no knowledge. Needless to say I’m disappointed with my experience.

I called my Choice Home Warranty company and requested service, they sent out Musa **. With Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation. He replaced a gear in the garage door motor in 30 min. I paid the $75.00 copay and all is good again. Boy what a great repair man that Musa ** was along with an outstanding employee. A keeper. (A keeper).

This company is a scam. Please do not purchase this service. I purchased the home warranty service for 2 years and paid in advance. I filed 3 claims and none of them were successfully resolved. The first two they did not have a service guy in my area thus I had to fix them myself. The third claim was for my refrigerator and they deemed the problem to be my fault and basically said good luck and left. Keep your money in your pocket and just call a local repair man and pay for repairs out of your own pocket because this company needs to go out of business. The way to do that is quit purchasing from them. Please take heed to this review as a consumer.

Technician Ata is always communicating with us & we do the same. He was sharing the different stages/procedures of fixing the HVAC device, such as what's wrong with the mechanics (the control panel needed to be replaced & etc). I would call back & requested him to give us a call if he was coming to the house. So that someone could open the door for him. Communication both sides is good & less frustration occurred. Had a clogged drain in main sewer line that cause a back up. First time in 60 years we've ever had a clogged sewer line. Filled out a service request at 8pm on a Monday and Plumbers was able to pick up the ticket request due to a cancelled appointment and was there at noon the next day. Figured out the problem, snaked it out and done in 45-50 minutes. We were a happy customer.

Manny has always been available to communicate and update me as the case moved forward. I fully recommend this home warranty. I do wish it covers smoke and C02 alarms but it does not. This vendor has been loyal to me beyond the call of duty. Unfortunately, he has been severely mistreated by the Choice support staff. As the ONLY technician that CHW has offered me over a 3 WEEK waiting period (I need a water heater AND have had NO HOT WATER). He has been willing to drive 4 hours roundtrip to take and complete this claim. Even after some support staff person CANCELED him from the only option I have, he is still WILLING AND ABLE to move forward on this claim on a reimbursement status. He deserves better.

Technician came out within the timeframe given to me. In my view, he was very thorough in checking and double-checking my dishwasher. He submitted his diagnosis and informed me that I would be notified within 24 hours of what action would be taken. True to his word, I received three options to have my issue resolved. I bought home warranty for four homes but none of the claims were repaired due to technician not available or called to cancel due to distance or exclusion. They lied through the whole sales process and made me believe they will provide 24/7 service - Their office closes at 6 so I couldn’t escalate. I had to live without hot water and heat for two weeks because Choice sent people who couldn’t solve the problem, decided to charge more and who told me on the day of the service that they cannot come because my house is too far. They are such a big liar which uses fly by night service providers - don’t use them!

I've had these policies in the past and they were a nightmare. Someone obviously took notice and created a better system. It was fast, the workers completed the task quickly, and we are very satisfied. Using the online tool makes it a much more user friendly experience. The technician was on time. Knew his field and was very pleasant to work with. He made sure to contact the Manufacturer to get permission to open the Microwave. They covered the cost for me to get a new stove top after discovering my stove top could not be repaired. At first they were only going to cover $381. But after me explaining it would cost more than that. They issued me the amount it would take to get a new stove top. Great customer service!!!!

So far I’m with Choice Home Warranty about 10 years. All thing is fine, except one, the amount of replacing appliance. Example, I bought top of the market washing machine and paid $850 + extended 5 years warranty, taxes and delivery. You offered me $250 after long discussions you gave me some like $300? I not remember exactly. Now my refrigerator has to be replaced, I paid for over $3000, 12 years ago, it was top market LG refrigerator on sale, + other fee like warranty, tax, delivery. You offered me and sent a check for less than $1000! I know like you can’t cover 100%, but you should cover less least 50% retail price, or little more than 50%. Comparing now for pretty same refrigeration I need to pay over $3000.
I finding some LG refrigerator almost same size on big sale for $2,400. I ordered it. Other thing is fine after put the claim you scheduled immediately appointment, a technician comes next day or in two days. Sometimes an appliance is fixed in one day if have parts on stocks. This is really good, I do not need looking for anybody to fix my appliances. All is good except the one that I explained above. Thanks.

My garage door would not open, I called Choice and was able to reach the office on the first time. I. Received an email quickly. In the meantime I had an appointment and left with the garage door still jammed. Later the evening I tried to open the door and it worked. I immediately called Choice and was able to cancel the order. Very easy to work with them.

I appreciate the response for my dishwasher replacement. I now realize the the representative did increase the value. I was hoping for a little more $$ considering the install and hauling is on my expense ($230) and the actual dishwasher that I will be getting is a Ge or Whirlpool on sale now for 447, and so my total expense is close to $ 400 minus the $347 you will be providing. I always get the extra warranty. Especially for home appliance because they could fail and then you have more problems.
The sale is over by December 4th for black Friday so I do hope I see your E-card from Lowe’s sooner rather than later so I do not miss the very good sale, there is still time to increase your replacement value from 347 to $400 that would help my cause… I am still a fan of home warranties and have been with your company for a while now and still give you a very good rating.

I received an update but that was of no use because I expected to be scheduled for a visit that never happened. I went outside my warranty to have my HVAC system repaired. I thought it would be easier going through Choice but that was not the case.

The technician from Whirlpool was sent to repair the light in my refrigerator. However, the part which is a led light panel had to be ordered. The technician will return upon receipt of the part and hopefully the repair will be done. The technician treated me in a courteous and professional manner.

It was easy to place a claim with the Choice company online system. We had a issue with the dryer. Technician came on time as per the schedule. He has updated us 30 minute earlier his scheduled time. Technician was good and knowledgeable to fix the issue on his first visit itself.

Choice sent an extremely competent technician to repair a leak on my pool filter. He noticed the body of the filter had a crack in it and submitted a claim stating the leak is due to normal wear and tear. Choice told me he said the crack was due to over tightening which was a blatant lie and when I challenged them on the lie they then changed the story that their claims adjuster decided that based on a photo. After making it very clear that I am not satisfied with that answer the lady I was talking to decided to placate me by offering me $200 towards a $453 claim. I accepted this only because I needed my filter repaired. This is a game all these home warranty companies like to play and I don’t appreciate it and will absolutely never refer anyone else to Choice again.

Stay away. They will find any excuse to not pay for repairs. HVAC system has been down for 3 months. Finally had to pay my contractor for replacement as the home was in need of heat with the approaching Winter. First, they said they couldn't locate a Service provider. Then offered that I could use my own contractor who condemned the unit. They wanted then a special pressure test at a cost of $384 which was photo'd and videoed for their observation. Then they wanted a quote and then to be broken down further (3 times breaking it be more line items each time). They still claimed to not have enough of a breakdown.
Now they claim the refrigerant lines are leaking (which is excluded in the policy) even though the pressure test clearly shows the leakage from the condenser coil. Appealed their denial, but they are sticking to their guns and offering me $300 to settle. What an insult! Never been involved with such a frustrating experience before. Avoid them like the Plague.

Totally disappointed and dissatisfied. As a Licensed Realtor, refuse to include in the list of Warranty Companies. Will never refer anyone to this company again. I have paid upfront for this warranty in 3 year blocks, twice. Have used twice and each time, had to pay over 1/2 to have a covered item replaced. Also, contractors are few who are associated with this company which means no timely service or no service at all. Also required upfront payment of service call fee and you may not receive service. Who governs this type of business to prevent consumers from getting ripped off?

USA Plumbing and Sewer was chosen by your company to come out and unclog my drain. He only had a 40 ft. Snake, I thought he should return with a 100 ft. Snake to reach the clog! I wasted 100.00 dollars. Very disappointed. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, I pay monthly for my service.

The fan motor on the compressor went out. I took the option of using my own local HVAC company to repair it. It was repaired in two days and I was approved by Choice for reimbursement. Choice said they will be mailing a check for the reimbursement in 30 days. When I get the check from Choice all will be good.

I called in a claim on my water heater leaking. It took 2 days for someone to look at it and say it needed to be replaced. I had to pay an additional $300 after the initial $75. It is my understanding that CHW paid for replacement of problem items. That should be stated at initial contract.

Good experience, the water heater is replaced. Bad experience having to wait a week. Also, the warranty didn't cover the entire process as we still had to pay $1,500 to complete the job. I will say that it's an understandable tradeoff so overall am happy things went smoothly, just wish it would've been faster.

I had my 3/4hp garbage disposal replaced. I thought Choice Home Warranty would approve to replace it with another 3/4hp disposal, but they would only approve a 1/3 hp disposal. The plumber Shane that did the work, was very professional and explain very that I needed to know about disposal and warranty on it. He did an excellent job.

The call to Choice Warranty went well. Provided my information and was told a repair service would contact me to set up an appointment. I was never given a choice of the day and time for my service, I was expected to have someone in my home during the time I was to be visited. We finally agreed that I would get a phone call when they were 15 minutes from my home and I would leave and go home. I had explained exactly what the dryer did and was expecting the service associate would have the part to repair with him.
Well, he tells me, that was not how this repair business works. First he must submit paperwork and get Choice Warranty to approve the cost to repair is within their guidelines for him to fix it. Then he says since I am a new customer so they will probably decline the repair. He also said $75.00 could not be correct because that was not enough to pay for the service call. We did confirm $75.00 was my contracted amount. He leaves and two days later he calls to tells me to say the repair was approved and now he has to order the needed part. Long story short nice young man and my dryer is fixed.... but the repair process took too way to long to complete.
I see no reason that a Choice preferred repair service company needs two weeks for a timer replacement. Why was the repair man not able to fix it on the first trip to my home. Now I am left wonder if I did make the right Choice Home Warranty and what did he mean about repair cost guidelines? When ask he said if it costs to much to fix Choice says get a new one but they only give their policy holder the maximum dollar amount allowed to fix the appliance. Not the full amount needed to go get a new appliance. This sounds nothing like what the Choice salesman told me when I sign on with Choice Home Warranty.

Today I spoke with a representative for the home warranty. Like their partner company, Endurance, he was very professional and informative without being pushy and annoying as other can be. The plans were very affordable and comprehensive. The plan I chose is very affordable, and quite frankly for a dollar or two a day, you may be saving yourself thousands.

My husband and I have carried a Home warranty now for the last 7-8 years and I will not go without one. When appliances or heating or air go out, and they will, you know who to call. When you call they send someone out and you have a small service call fee and they fix it or replace it! That simple. I have had my Dishwasher Replaced, Microwave Replaced, garbage disposal serviced and stove replaced. This would have cost us thousands of dollars. If you do not have a Home Warranty and you own your home save your self some some time, money and headaches and call them today!

CHW contracts with Technicians that are mostly 2nd rate.... and you cannot obtain one of your choice! Moreover, just try to follow-up with one of their C/S people - they're all overseas somewhere and trained in RESOLUTION AVOIDANCE. All you will ever get is one of many prescribed computer responses, and some are even repetitious. They will do everything possible to pass the buck and/or avoid addressing the real service issue. Most experience I've had has been NEGATIVE!

The light switch in our master bedroom all of a sudden us just went out. The electrician who came to repair it informed us that it was not unusual for that to happen over a period of time. And that depending upon the number of times we use the switch to turn the overhead light on and off, our problem could have happened sooner. The fact that it lasted fifteen years was a blessing to us. He explained what we could do in the future regarding our other switches in the home. He was very helpful and courtesy.

The qualified service company was very accommodating to come a day earlier than scheduled as I was getting out of town guests that night and also watch my granddaughter so they quickly and efficiently came out and fixed the issue. My only issue was that I had a $75 credit from a service call last year that I never used and Choice Warranty would not honor it.

I am very disappointed with your service, they did not cover the damage I had with the water pressure regulator, when it should have been covered 100%. They denied me when the technician that was sent said that it had to be replaced because it was already damaged and they assumed that the regulator was painted that's why it couldn't be adjusted. I have been living in this house for 17 years, I bought this house brand new and it has always been like this because a water pressure regulator can be painted, put underground, outside, etc., The paint should not be a reason to deny me coverage. I appealed and they made me look for another plumber opinion and the other plumber's opinion was the same, it had to be replaced due to wear and tear.
I paid $85 for your technician to come look at the problem and then I paid $75 for another technician's opinion and your company was not responsible 100% for the damage, instead you gave me $150. I had to pay your technician $225 for the repairs. I don't understand why they could not cover everything, I paid $385 between the technician visits and the repair. This really makes no sense, why they didn’t cover the total $375 when they know that we are right. This was a scam on the part of your company, you can see that the money is not the problem for me. It is the principles, this company is not responsible as they pretend, I just thank God to open my eyes and that this minor issue let me know what kind of service they offer to the customer and I will be canceling my contract.

The handle just broke off in my hand. I called Choice on a Sunday night and they scheduled my appt. by Monday morning early for 11/27/2024. I was worried it would not be fixed by Thanksgiving since family would be coming over. Choice is prompt, their repair persons speak English well, and generally can take care of the problem in one trip.

I have a upflow toilet in the house we bought over a year ago, right after moving in, of course, the toilet motor went haywire. The house had a home warranty when we bought it but that was not covered to the tune of $1,500. What a mess. I asked upfront about that when I called. It is covered and the cost of the policy is only $60 a month, with a $75 service fee charge. I will let you know if I will recommend after I have used it a time or two.

The technician who came to our home to fix our garbage disposal was very quick and efficient. He used parts from his truck to ensure that the job was done properly. This is the second attempt at having our disposal serviced. The first technician promised to come back but never did. We would have had to pay an additional 200 dollars for the replacement unit.

They are quick to respond. My experience so far is that it takes less than three days to get an appointment for a repair, and they acknowledge a claim in less than an hour. The only negative I have had so far is that I had a well with issues, and they were sending out a plumber who was unable to perform the work. I called the service person ahead of time and just hired my contractor to perform the repairs.

My icemaker was making blocks of ice instead of cubes. This wonderful home warranty program sent out a person who actually knew what they were doing. I have never been so pleased. AC unit stopped working and Choice sent technician to inspect. Choice said first technician’s costs were too much and reassigned to another technician. 2nd technician agreed entire system needed to be replaced. Choice came up with reason for me to pay for the condenser. Out of pocket costs were over $5000. Not seeing benefit right now.

It took six months to fix an ice maker. A pipe broke, and they would not fix it. I had no water for a few days because they were so slow to get back to me. I had to pay out 640 for a hot water heater that only cost 650. The company that put it in charged them 1500. I tried to tell them but got nowhere. The latest is that my dishwasher inlet pipe broke. They would not cover it.

He explained what the main reason of the error message and he was supposed to send me summary of his diagnosis so I can share with the solar company, but I haven’t received it yet. He was also supposed to share quotes for future reference but I didn’t see any email yet. It would be great to have a follow up in writing especially since we paid for diagnosis.

The Rep was helpful in resolving my issue. I appreciate her help. I will consider renewing both my son and our coverage in 2025 but will need to see at renewal time. My issue is the time it takes to respond to a claim and then the lack of communication with vendors selected. This needs to improve to help with ongoing issues with this warranty company.

A garage door spring broke and trapped one of our cars in the garage. Called to make a claim, got a service provider assigned, but the date was not for a week and a half. Called the service provider and they moved it up within two days, which worked out great since we had, two cars outside of the garage. The service man was excellent, very professional. Use the online feature to make the claim and it worked out very easily, never had to talk to an agent at Choice. Love their service, highly recommend.

I needed a new warranty company. I started the quote process and it required payment. At the time, I could not find some specifics, i.e., service fees etc. so, I stopped the process. Few hours later, I received a call from a representative, unsolicited. Then he proceeded to inform me that only I can get the deal offered at that time. So, it was a pressure sale.
