The technician arrived when scheduled and fixed the air conditioning within an hour. We were very relieved because outside temps were in the mid 90's.

While I had the unfortunate experience to have not one but two issues in the same week, I was able to get a sense of the type of service level Choice offered, since I was new to this company. I must say, right away they outperformed my prior experience with their prompt attention to my call and follow up. They had a technician scheduled and within 24 hrs I had a plan. The two service repairmen were local and were both professional and very knowledgeable. While one of the two issues were deemed unrepairable, I received a fair reimbursement towards a replacement (I always think it is undervalued but overall fine).
In the past, I've had to wait several days for a tech, so this was nice. The plumbers did tell me that they didn't handle the Choice claims on weekends, but mine was not an emergency. I imagine if it had been, there would have been an option. This is the third visit this year, so I feel I've already recouped my investment even with the service fee, and feel more Secure going forward. Haven't had to use for AC yet - that's the true test!

I will preface this report with a caution that seems everyone that gives them a bad review is deleted but here goes. Each time I called them for a problem to be fixed customer services was very prompt and courteous but when they sent out the "expert", said "expert" went on to tell me that he would be my go-to person for all problems in my home because nobody else would work for such a small amount that they were paid to come out. He then proceeded to tell me that we had to get our fridge "cleaned" before CHW would ok the "expensive" part so we would have to pay him $85 plus the $45 service fee and since he was also out for our toilet running we'd have to pay $45 more. He left with his check.
Didn't hear back from him for 2 weeks. By then I just bought a new fridge, called him and told him to which he answered "Don't tell CHW because I ordered the part" and when I asked about the toilet and said I just saw a Universal part at hardware store he relented and said "I wanted to get you the original" and came and fixed it. I reported him to CHW and told them NEVER to send him out again. They apologized and next problem (where I reminded them about my BBB-F contractor) hung up the phone and got him again!
I called back, they send someone else out... they didn't show up and when I called they "didn't work with them". This happened for a 3 week period after which I cancelled. Pre-paid $1260 - 6 mos. Later my refund was $668.70! Looking for legal rep.

CHW claims representative were courteous and listened to the problem, and was prompt in assigning a technician to correct the problem. Problem was solved to satisfaction in 2 days after filing claim. Very satisfied with CHW service and would recommend it to others.

Dryer stop working. Called for service. They were very polite and willing to help me asap. The senior technician was excellent and sharp and explain in details why the dryer was not working. My experience with Choice Warranty was great. Will continue to used them.

CHW did an excellent job with my A/C repair. The customer service rep was friendly and seemed to care about my issue. The technician arrived on time for the scheduled appointment and was very knowledgeable about the issue. The repair was completed the same day. Excellent service all around!

Choice contacted Commercial Development and Maintenance and an appointment was made for the next day, however a cancellation enabled the service to be moved up to the same day. The technician had trouble removing the knock out and didn't have a socket with sufficient torque to remove the old rod. As a result a 2nd appointment is required to complete the installation.

Called Choice to file claim. They contacted ACE Heating & Air to service unit. ACE found bad circuit board and had to order new part. Installed new part - works the way it should. Choice stands behind their warranty.

I've had a couple of home warranty companies, and generally been pleased with the coverage and service levels, UNTIL Choice Home Warranty. Their company has a crew of "claim handlers" that specialize in finding any way possible to deny paying a claim. This is especially true concerning any repairs to your air conditioning equipment. First, they stopped covering the replacement of refrigerant that a covered repair caused. Next, when a leak in the coil was found (they didn't cover the cost of finding the leak, BTW), they said that any rust on the coil (and they had the technician take a photo) meant that the leak was due to lack of maintenance, and so weren't responsible for the repair. RUST? Maintenance can't do anything about RUST on a piece of equipment that is constantly exposed to moisture, it will eventually fail. Choice has apparently tried to shield themselves from paying for any repair and are counting on the isolated home owner not being able to pursue them in court. They have miscalculated.

Choice Home Warranty was very prompt at getting a technician to my home to service my stand alone freezer. They also did follow up emails to make sure servicing company contacted me to set an appointment. The technician was very much qualified and timely. He made sure he let me know when the part will arrive, and when he will be able to return to complete service. This is my first experience with Choice Home Warranty, and I give them a rating of 10 with 10 being the most satisfied.

I feel this is one of the best policies I purchased as a Retiree. It has definitely been a benefit to me. I've had several home repairs done with my policy. The customer service was immediate and without hassle. Especially recently with my air condition. I live in S.C. It's been 90 degree weather here. I was without air. Luckily it was minor, only needing Freon. However, paying $45 copay was far less than I would have paid if I didn't have CHW. I asked the repairman how much this would have been if I had to pay privately. He told I would have easily paid $400. This year I decided to pay for my policy for the year. It is well worth it. To me, it's already paid for itself. I'm very very pleased with my CHW WARRANTY.

On 6/7 called for service for a broken pool pump. 3 contractors were assigned and none would come to repair. Had to call my own pool service and was finally repaired on 6/11. Filed reimbursement form on 7/15 and was advised total amount was approved. Thank you.

The customer service was outstanding. I had encountered a issue where the plumber wanted to upsell me a more expensive pump (probably should of) and the Plumber did not want to install a cheaper model. In a way I couldn't blame him and in the long run the better pump would of lasted longer. But if Choice Warranty wants to continue to add cheaper parts, I guess we just continue to call them. But long story short, they lined up another Plumber to perform the job and now I can at least be carefree that my basement does not flood. Thanks Choice Home Warranty for making it happen.

After having received numerous emails offering a discount in premium, called in asking if, having been grandfathered into a lower than current rate, I would be able to take advantage of the offer. I was told that my current premium discount exceeded the offer. While on the phone, I inquired about the free months I was to get for referring a friend with multiple properties. Customer service said they had no record of the referrals and asked the name and property addresses. I provided the information and within 72 hours I received a two-month extension. Kudos to your customer service team.

I placed my claim and received a call a few days later that they did not have a contractor. The rep at Choice was very polite and advise I could contact a service nearby and be reimbursed and explained in detail how that works. I'm very satisfied with the way they handled this.

Our air conditioner stopped working on 7/6/14. On 7/14/14, a technician came out and diagnosed the ac with a compressor port blow out. Choice Home Warranty denied the claim based on their claim that the compressor failure was due to a lightning strike. In order to prove a lightning strike, the compressor must be cut and examined which was not conducted. Choice now evolved their denial.The next denial was a power surge which also was not substantiated through actual physical evidence of a melted fuses or any other damage in the home. Exactly how can there be a power surge but no other damage to any other electronic device? Choice now continued their evolution of denial. The third denial was a Choice claim that something abnormal caused it to break.
The technician has stated several times that he has told Choice times that there are 100's of reasons that the compressor was broken and that he could not definitively say what happened due to lack of physical evidence yet Choice keeps changing their denial when asked for proof. We purchased the warranty, maintained the system but Choice is denying their responsibility. All we ask is that we have actual physical evidence to substantiate a denial - not an evolution of denials with NO proof.

In June 2014 our tenant let us know that the downstairs a/c stopped cooling. I called CHW and was given the phone number of the technician to contact by the Customer Service Rep. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I called the Air Condition and Heating Company. Due to the busy time of year the appointment had to be scheduled for the next day. The technician came and the problem was repaired within 1 hour. We were just thrilled. I even let him clean both units outside while he was there. It has been over a month and our tenant has not called. The technician did a wonderful job. Great job Choice Home Warranty!!

I got a call from my wife screaming the AC quit. We live in Hot FLA. Got back home and I called @ about 8pm Fri, had a short hold, was told who was taking the service call. Fla Coast AC said to call to set time. Called FL coast and he said he would see me in the am. Was on time, fixed the unit, checked everything out and then it was a go. Paid my copay. After finding electric plugs not working in the garage, I called Choice Home Warranty and within a day, I had an order number and was called by the Electrician company to set up an appointment. The electrician was here the next day, found the problem, replaced the GCFI plug, and everything worked fine. Pleasant electrician and seemed quite competent.

I have 2 homes, both with Choice Home Warranties. I had a claim on one of my homes and had a terrible time getting anyone out there to work on the leaking sink. The repair comp they dispatched told me they would not do the work because Choice was so bad about paying the repair comp. He even said if he were me he would drop them. It took a couple weeks to get the leak fixed. I then had a claim on my fridge in the other house. The fridge was only 3 yrs old, but the elect system quit working (has a digital panel), anyway they tried every way in the world to keep from paying the claim. I had to call and complain and speak with a manager to get part of the claim paid.
Then last weekend my a/c quit. I live in AZ and it was 91 in our house. They did not come until the next day, then they would not pay the claim saying that we had not kept up with the maintenance of our a/c unit. It had been serviced 7mo ago. Once a yr is the norm. They said that since we have dust storms here we should have it cleaned after every dust storm. You would need to keep the a/c comp on speed dial. The repairman told them that it had nothing to do with the filter being 60% dirty. He also said that they made him tell them a % of how dirty he thought the filter was and as soon as he said a number they told him they were not covering the claim. Again, I went all the way up to a manager, but they refused to pay. I would NEVER recommend this comp to anyone and in my opinion they are crooked!!!

A/C stopped working, phoned CHW early Friday morning. Agent took information, gave me a claim # and indicated they would contact a service provider who would contact me and gave their phone #. Provider was contacted and came by that afternoon. A/C up and running within an hour. Service provider was professional, very friendly and most knowledgeable. It was all good.

Like a lot of people, my ac broke down on the hottest day of the summer. I placed a service call to Choice Home Warranty and received the assigned company to fix my ac within 15 minutes. My ac was fixed within a day of the request. Not only I did not have to try to find a company to take care of the problem, service was fast. Choice Home Warranty is the way to go if you want to take care of your valuable home!

Our fridge went out on a Saturday. I called and requested service under our Choice Warranty Plan. They assigned a contractor who after two days (Mon/Tues) did not return my calls. On Wed they assigned a new contractor who did come out on Wed. The contractor told me that the compressor was not working. He submitted info to Choice. On Thursday I was advised that they were not covering the claim as I had a clogged line and this was a maintenance issue. I called the contractor and he stated he did not tell them this and he would call them. I called for a supervisor on Thursday at around 4 pm and someone was supposed to call me back. On Friday I call and speak to a supervisor who states they claim is now denied as the freon is low and that is why the compressor isn't working.
I call the contractor back and he texts me that he said the freon might be low. I know that he did not check it when he was here. I call the Supervisor back and question him as just because they think the freon "might" be low they can deny a claim without checking this out. I was advised that I would have to call for someone to come out to check the freon and they would not pay for it. My advice to you is RUN, RUN, RUN from signing up with this Company. My contract expires thank goodness in September and I definitely won't be renewing.

I like Choice Warranty for the reasons that when you file a claim, they attend to the problem IMMEDIATELY. You do not have to wait forever. And they are all very courteous and helpful. I recommend Choice to my friends and families. Here in an example on one of my claims. We noticed that there was a A LEAK; LOOSE GASKET ON THE MOTOR TO THE FILTER. I called Choice and immediately sent a pool technician from Pinnacle Pool Spa was assigned. He came and he checked the problem, fixed the problem and hurray, the work was done. I did not have to wait long. In less than two days, the leak was fixed.

This was my first time using the warranty. My outside air conditioning unit quit working. The repairman was at my residence the next day for repairs. The response was quick and the repairman was excellent. I might add that Robinson's was the company that responded for the repairs. I was very satisfied with everything and I have no complaints.

After my tenant called me about the garage door opener problem, I called Choice and they sent me an email with the number of the company right away. I gave it to my tenant and they made an appointment to have it fixed in no time. Choice followed up with another email to see that everything had been taken care of. Choice is just amazing beyond your expectation.

Called CHW late on Sunday evening after finding lots of standing water under the kitchen sink. CHW took my info and assigned a local plumbing company. The plumber called on Monday and scheduled a repair for Tuesday, Tuesday was fine since this wasn't an emergency, just an undetermined leak somewhere. The repair was on time, found the issue to be the disposal unit, had one on the truck and within 45 minutes all was back to normal. CHW honored their agreement and the only charge was the basic service fee. I couldn't be happier in which the matter was handled by CHW. Will I renew when the time comes? YOU BET I WILL!

The initial call was made on July 4th so I did not expect to hear from the technician until after the holiday weekend was over. I left a voice mail message on Sunday and received a return phone call the first thing Monday morning. I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to schedule an appointment within 2 hours and arrived promptly, taking care of the issue in less than 30 minutes. I appreciate this because it didn't tie up my husband's day waiting.

As a new customer of Choice, I was anxious to see how my claim for an appliance needing repair would be handled. They took the information and promptly assigned a vendor. The vendor was excellent and prompt with the appointment. A part had to be ordered and the vendor informed me when it could be expected and installed. Very pleased with this experience.

My ice maker was not working properly. A very polite technician came out to fix it and determined that I needed a new ice maker. Company ordered the part and within three days I had a new ice maker. I had a very pleasurable experience with Choice Home Warranty Service.

Aggressive sales guys will tell you all sorts of fairy tales to lure you in but when it's actually time to use the warranty you will find that there is some sort of contract that excludes almost all of the common problems that could possibly occur, or they will somehow tie whatever problem you have to items not covered. The contract is not something you will be shown until after you have paid. Don't fall for all the nice colored check boxes. The devil is in the details!!!

This company's salespeople took turns calling me on my cell, on my home phone and kept sending me emails for almost 3 months, finally I transferred all of my home warranty policies for my 4 houses to them couple of months ago. Today was my first time to call them. It's a 3-year new wash machine in my own house. The service guy came and said it was not caused by normal use, not covered by warranty. But my previous home warranty company had fixed it once for me about a year ago, for the exactly same problem: buttons blinking, washer wouldn't start. I had to call their service line, and was told they don't cover it.
This is a very bad experience for me. I transferred to them because of their promises, and because they are a little cheaper than my previous insurance company. Apparently all of their efforts are directed towards sales rather than service. All they want to do is to collect your money and find excuses not to help you. Their cold calls should be an alert to me at the first place, because obviously "word of mouth" did not work in their case

I requested service because my air conditioner was working but not cooling. I did have yearly maintenance done a month ago but I was not impressed with their technicians. When I called Choice on Mon. June 30th they sent me a phone no. for a company and I called right away. That company said they would have someone arrive by 5:00 pm. No one came Mon, Tues. I called again on Wed. and was told someone would be there by 8pm. Thursday I still didn't have a technician (which was no Choice's fault). I called Choice back and they immediately referred me to another company. I spoke with them and the owner came out on Saturday, added 2 lbs. of freon and was done in 20 minutes. I was very pleased and would recommend J & L Service Co. to everyone.

Not a good Company! I have a Viking oven that cost 4,000 dollars. They couldn't find a Repairman to work on it so they offered me a 500.00 dollar buyout, which it should have been the maximum buyout they offer of 1,500 dollars. They then told me they already mailed out the 500.00 dollar buyout ... and it's been over 2 weeks and have received nothing. They then told me that they canceled my policy and I would not be getting a buyout from them ... Stay far away from this company as they are crooks!

The water was leaking very bad. Your first contractor was unprofessional and claimed the problem is not covered. After calling your office again, the second contractor was extremely helpful and fixed the problem in a very professional manner. I Called in for Judy ** at app 10:30 on Wed Morning July 2. She cancer and I told the rep that. Van from Advantage Air arrived at 4:50 that afternoon and quickly diagnosed the problem and even found a problem that your last tech had created. They had the condenser fan motor running backward. One complaint that I have is that I had another policy sold for you to Mrs. H.J. ** of Longview and your rep was very rude and high pressure to an 84 year old woman and he probably negated a lot of work that I had done for your company, but Advantage Air and their service was great.

I have had 3 home warranty companies. American Home Shield was great but the price is higher than others so I wanted to try a cheaper one. The first home warranty, RJR, I asked about coverage on pump in the basement. Was told all pumps are covered at purchase. At claim time, the pump was called a "sewer ejector unit" and was not covered. $1400.
Upon the purchase of the Choice warranty I knew to ask specifically about the "sewer ejector unit" and asked about the pool coverage, the pop up heads and the coverage on Sub Zero and other sometimes pricey repairs. The sales person placed me on hold to check the contract and came back and told me that these items are all covered. Upon claim for the pop up heads in the pool, I am not covered. Said it's part of a cleaning system - $600. When I called and told them about what has happened, they said that it was my fault for not doing proper research. They reminded me of my 30 day out and that it was up to me to figure out any terms or descriptions that I was unclear on.
This is really frustrating. I actually asked both warranty companies and have it recorded where I specifically ask about my coverage and am mislead to believe I'm covered by the plan I purchased. It's not like your average customer knows these technical terms or the many ways that they will void your claim. Lastly the recorded message I heard while on hold reminded me that it's the homeowner's responsibility for all routine maintenance and that any missed maintenance may void your warranty.
This is another great way to void your claim. The recording mentioned flushing your water heater which nobody does. They also mentioned AC service which is suggested every six months. What are the chances that you are going to need them and not be able to show the last time your AC was serviced? All in all, I have warranties on 3 properties for over 6 years and the latest run in with these fly-by-night network of vendors that will void claims at a moment's notice has me shaken.

This is a 15 year old Goodman Outside Compressor. The tech has been to my house 2 times and worked very hard each time. He is polite, knowledgeable, and does his work then cleans up and leaves. NO Problem with tech. However after cleaning the coils very good, replacing a capacitor, thermostat, filling the Freon, and other things the problem still exists. The unit is old and has been good service til this summer - now the outside compressor will run continuous trying to obtain the temperature requested, (78) degrees.
It runs day and night but will never obtain the requested temperature requested. 81 degrees is the coolest it has obtained. My suggestion is to have a new outside compressor installed. I do not know how CHOICE feels about this, but the information says fix or replace with new model. I would like to have CHOICE contact me with suggestions about the problem.

Our kitchen sink backed up following dinner on June 26, and we were unable to wash dishes or operate the dishwasher...Yugg! I called but it was after hours and I did not expect anyone to answer the call. However the call was answered and I made the claim. I was advised the name and phone number of the assigned plumber and advised to follow up with him directly the following morning. Apparently the plumber was swamped and when I failed to get them on the phone, I called Choice and they got the plumber on the phone while I held. It was about (:30 AM. The plumber completed the job and was gone from my house by 11:45 AM. They ran 65 feet of sewer cable to achieve the fix. They were very nice and helpful and knew exactly what to do on their arrival. I am really impressed with Choice Home Warranty. I bought this 3 and 1/2 year warranty in 2012 and have had claims that have been taken care of as soon as I called them. Service man checked out my AC and said the compressor was gone. He said it 'shorted to ground'. The claims department denied the claim saying the unit was not properly maintained. I change my filters and clean the coils periodically. I have never been told by the service men who check my unit that there was needed maintenance. I had the unit serviced in 2010, 2011, and 2013. There is nothing in the service manual that says compressors are not covered. I have cancelled my renewal for next year.

I can't believe this company has so many good reviews. They put you on hold repeatedly for 5 to 20 minutes until you are ready to give up. They interview technicians until one says the magic words allowing them to not pay because a PM was not performed. Any small missed PM like a corroded dryer is blamed for a more major repair issue. I feel their policies are a waste of money. I'll put future premiums in the bank and save for the next repair.

The technician referred to us from CHW was very prompt, professional and courteous. We have nine smoke alarms all together and they all were beeping and chirping. I called and talked with a Choice Home Warranty Representative to report a problem with my garbage disposal. I was given the name and number of the Plumbing Service that would be taking care of the problem. The Plumbing Service contacted me immediately to schedule the appointment. I initially filed a claim with CHW in March of this year (2014) and was assigned a service company from Baton Rouge (I think it was M&G or something similar) who sent a technician down to check out the system. The first visit was more fact finding and he needed a part. Came back a second time, same story. This went on a time or two and finally he said we needed an entire heating system. "Parts were on order." Repeated calls to them were fruitless so I called CHW and was assigned Spears A/C & Appliance, Baton Rouge, which was a total disaster!
I called CHW, told them that I was totally unimpressed with Spears and within 15 minutes I was called by Feniv's A/C & Heating of Kenner, LA, who arranged an appointment with their service tech who came within half an hour, worked on the system, laughed when I told them about all the "parts orders" and showed me the problem: a blown fuse with a defective thermostat! All in less than a half hour! Bottom line, CHW did their part well, it was just a matter of getting the right service techs! Kristen of CHW made things happen when she was informed of my problems so I would highly recommend her and CHW.

One of the best things about Choice is that I don't need to look for a plumber in an emergency. They do it for me. I love that. If there is a plumber you like he is always busy when you need him. My experience trying to get Choice Home Warranty to honor its home warranty contract has been a nightmare. They have looked for every way possible to avoid paying for the repair of my washing machine, including alleging "physical damage" because the door seal was no longer fitting. They said their policy doesn't cover damage to the door seal, but it does cover a malfunctioning computer control board. They are refusing to honor their contractual commitment to repair the control board that operates the machine. The agent actually said since the door seal doesn't fit and they won't repair it, they also won't repair the computer control board, which the contract says they should cover. They also do not readily allow anyone to speak to a supervisor. They all claim to be supervisors when you call. Only after insisting, I was actually transferred to someone who claimed to be a manager. This is a disreputable company. Avoid them like the plague.

I am presently deployed and have been home only a month since March of 2013. So like most men especially military men, we hate not having control. My brother contacted me to let me know my A/C was inoperable. AFTER 6 WEEKS WITHOUT A DRYER, $45 co-pay to have my dryer serviced, $45 co-pay to have the dryer electrical inspected, $180 at the laundromat, and intervention from the manager of vendor relations to intervene upon reviewing my unsatisfactory post on consumer affairs, my dryer was finally serviced with several new parts. The technician was extremely surprised to see that CHW did not replace the dryer as he had never seen a dryer with so many broken parts. It took him over two hours to repair the dryer because of all of the issues. The technician was very polite, prompt, professional, and helpful! I have absolutely no complaint with the technician or his company whatsoever. However, after 6 weeks of going to the laundromat at $30 a pop, plus the $90 total in co-pays, totaling $270, not to mention the mere inconvenience and waste of my time having to transport my laundry back and forth, I think I would have been much better off just purchasing a new dryer and not using CHW.
God only knows how much it must have cost for the many new parts and the initial one hour diagnosis and two hour repair for labor. I still do not feel that this was the smartest decision for Choice Home Warranty to have made. Any customer that has to be inconvenienced for this amount of time and has to spend almost $300 out of their own pocket for a dryer repair is not going to feel that they have any sort of home warranty. I pray that CHW doesn't ever have to handle an AC claim for me, especially in the summer... I can only imagine...

Report for broken dryer was made on a Wednesday. 1st availability for service call was for Monday. Several issues causing dryer not to function properly: door latch, thermostat, heater element, melted felt casing, wheel rubbing. The dryer is a cheap 2006 model. The service technician said it all could be fixed but the labor would exceed the cost of the dryer. He also brought to my attention that the wall outlet and electrical cord should be examined by an electrician, as he showed me where burning had occurred on the outlet prongs. He thoroughly checked all duct work, confirming that it was all clear and that this truly was a very broken dryer.
The claim was submitted and reviewed by CHW escalation department. This took another two weeks. I am now in WEEK FOUR without a dryer! I have called CHW over 10 times without any resolution to my dilemma! Customer service is short with me and promises to return my calls. I had been an extremely satisfied customer of CHW until this happened. In reading the reviews, I see two other dissatisfied customers pertaining to dryer issues. Perhaps CHW needs to revise their criteria for replacement dryers, as they have been very flexible and comprehensive with other issues. I am greatly concerned that this dryer is unsafe and is posing a fire hazard to my home based on the findings of the service repair technician.
I had been an extremely satisfied customer of CHW until this point. Unfortunately now, I am dissatisfied, angry, and frightened of the outcome for the safety of my home, IF the dryer issue is ever even fixed. I do have an electrician coming out tomorrow. Again, nothing else has been done to fix my broken dryer and it has been four weeks since the initial call! I think CHW thinks I'm just going to give up, but I am not! CHW, please replace my dryer or allocate funds to help off-set my cost, as I truly don't want my home to burn down as a result of a dryer that I have requested your assistance numerous times, on a recorded line, via email, and now on this public review, to please replace as there are too many issues with the dryer worth fixing and insuring the safety of my home.

I have used CHW since it came with the purchase of our new house last July. We have had a number of issues (a microwave, garage door opener, and garbage disposal) for which we have used the service and each time it worked out well. The service people were nice and did what they needed to do to resolve the problem. The only flaw in the system which can be frustrating when you have a problem that needs to be addressed immediately is the fact that often the service provided matched doesn't return calls or won't accept the job. This has happened to me several times. That means that it can take 2-4 days to get in touch with a service provider to schedule an appointment to fix whatever the issue is. CHW is on top of it with their calls and always gave me the next provider on their list, but I think that they should rate the providers responsiveness so they don't refer clients to providers who aren't going to respond or accept the job.

Called Friday because my toilet was leaking water at the base, the plumber called within 30 minutes afterwards and was on site less than 30 minutes later. They worked on the toilet in response with you and had to leave to get another piece for the toilet and had the work ready approximately 3 hours later. Although I had to call again on Saturday because the problem was not solved. I tried calling you, but no Operator answers the phone on weekends. I did write you a mail and became an automatic response. As long as I don't have to pay another service fee for a existing claim and you make the correct decision to solve this problem, I can highly recommend you further!!!!

I received nothing but cooperation from Choice Home Warranty. The first claim broke down between the vendor and me. The second vendor was WONDERFUL, PRECISE, PROMPT and KNOWLEDGEABLE. I really appreciated how quickly Choice responded to the technicians results of the inoperable dryer and this all took place within a matter of hours! I am glad I made the decision to go with Choice Home Warranty.

According to the policy that I have with Choice Home Warranty, they have to replace my broken unit. They find all kind of excuses not to cover the damage regardless the A/C clearly covered. I have heard the same story about this company from other people. Bad company, very bad company.

I recently requested a service call to have my air conditioner repaired. Choice Home Warranty dispatched a company the same day that I called . The repairman came the same day and my air conditioner was fixed early the next morning. I am a widow living on a fixed income and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can count on Choice Home Warranty for any problems around my any repairs I might need that are covered. I will certainly recommend Choice Home Warranty to my friends.

Yesterday I had my broken oven looked by the serviceman you dispatched. The man was very thorough and immediately diagnosed the problem. After some time on the phone he advised me parts were not available to repair my oven. I was very disappointed at first then he told me Choice would be in touch with me before days end. You were and expressed my problem fit into your buy-out program in the amount of $300. I thought this is fair and I will be able to pick me up a stove for that!

The appliance tech located the issue and said what needed to be done. The problem with dryer was actually a bad breaker. He filed his paperwork and I called Choice. While I was on the phone with Choice, a Choice vendor called and scheduled a time to repair the breaker. I hope all of my calls go this well.

My dryer machine stopped working, so I called the people of Choice Home Warranty. The customer service people handled the claim very fast and the contractors did the work in an excellent way... Is working as well as the first day.

I had four repairs done with CHW. Their level of respond was quick. Some of their contractors which do the repairs are not as they should be but when CHW is informed, they quickly assign another contractor. CHW should check their contractors' level of services to make sure their customers being happy and they might have been doing it but I am not aware of.

I have had Choice Home Warranty for almost one year and have been very satisfied with the service I have received each time I have made a claim. They're like my personal repair man! My issues have been resolved with no complications and the customer service is excellent. Anytime, any day, any problem. It's the best thing I've ever purchased for myself! It has paid for itself already and I haven't reached my one year anniversary date yet! It's well worth it!

I was very pleased with the work and the persons who did the work.. They called soon after I turned in my claim. They did the work in a timely manner. Everything was left clean, no messes. They even took all boxes and trash with them. I would welcome them back anytime. All things are working perfectly. I am glad I have Choice Home Warranty.

We came home from vacation late at night only to find our Air Conditioning system was not working. Living in the Deep South, nights can be sweltering! And it was - I called CHW first thing in the morning and our A/C was working right after lunchtime, even though we live on a remote Island in the Gulf of Mexico. I wish I had known that CHW was available by phone 24/7. I only noticed that while looking for their phone #. The technician was friendly, informative and courteous, and fixed the problem quickly.

Choice Home Warranty is a SCAM. My water heater had a water leak at the bottom of the heater and flooded both my garage and bathroom next to the garage. I waited three days for Choice Home Warranty to replace my water heater, but instead I received an email. When I called them, they informed me that the water holding tank in the water heater was not covered. WHAT? Isn't the holding tank part of the water heater? STAY AWAY FROM Choice Home Warranty. It's a SCAM.

I had signed up with this company in hopes to keep repair cost down. Thought it was a great idea until my central air broke. So I called the company. They called a repairman to come out. That company never showed up. I had to call back up there to get another company. That repair guy came out the same day. I had to pay an extra $75 for a leak test. Now the repairman told me this company will not pay out to have anything totally repaired. He said they will come up with every excuse and reason not to. So after waiting A MONTH and me calling them asking what's going on, I FINALLY got the response of "well you had no fluid and it is a coil leak with some rust found..."
The repairman had called the Warranty company while at my house and told them there was no rust and looked to be maintained... So they are lying about there being rust. The Warranty company stated this has not been maintained as this HAS TO BE a previous leak from last year. I then told her I had it serviced last year and there were no problems.. She then stated there had to of been and they just didn't find it. I asked to be transferred to someone that can close my account. The man I got was rude and every time I asked to talk to someone else or a manager, all he could say was why. I am the customer and should not be treated this way. I waited a MONTH to hear back about my claim, but when you sign up they say it will only take a few days to get up and running. This is a scam!

Tech called to set up appointment the same day I submitted the claim. He was able to fit me in the very next day. The parts had to be purchased but he was still able to get the ice maker fixed to following day. Very professional and timely. Choice called to verify that a service tech was assigned and the repair was handled quickly.

We also like the conference calls with the repair company involved which clarifies everything. Also, there is no charge for recalls, if any, which is a good deal!!! I called Choice in about my second refrigerator and they put my claim in and sent me an email right away. I called the technician for an appointment and then came and looked at fridge and found out what the problem was. Then Choice followed with me and is sending me a check because the part won't be available til September. Choice was very professional and courtesy.

Called in a claim for my house because AC is not producing cold air the first time I turned it on this season. Repair person sent from one of Choice Home warranty suppliers. Diagnose made that cooling coil leaked freon and sent to Choice. Claim denied for "this is not normal wear and tear". I asked what is normal "wear and tear" and got no clear answer. Talked to manager at Choice and again got no relief. Told Manager I was extremely dissatisfied with their concern for my claim. Was told if I don't like my treatment, cancel the policy which I did that very day. Called back the next day and asked the manager how do I appeal their denial. Was told he can't waste time talking with me because I was not a customer, since my policy was cancelled the day before. Great customer service/concern!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!

Although your phone number was down for 2 days - you do need an alternative way to contact your organization as all of my food spoiled as my freezer/refrigerator died and I could not reach you to put in a claim and by the time I did and the service person could come out - none of the food could be saved. But as always once you responded, your service is spot on. You check to ensure I have been contacted - someone has showed up and at the end of the call, the job was completed. It also helps that the service work is done correctly too, but your service is great. Thanks.
