Choice sent out an air conditioner and heating team from New Star and they took care of the problems and had my system up and running like new on their first visit in about an hour or two. I would recommend both Choice for the insurance and also New Star for any A/C and heating work any time. Very glad to have Choice for my home insurance.

Working with Choice Home Warranty was fast and easy. Our A/C unit was not working right. We called CHW and they did the leg work to schedule a service technician to come out and fix it the next day. Plus, they have the lowest service fee that I have seen.

To be honest I didn't get a response in the time frame they told me but once I did the repair personnel was very informed and helpful... Overall great service.

My request for service on my refrigerator/freezer was handled quickly and efficiently. The contractor assigned to the problem was courteous and mindful of my dire situation in that I told him that I had just loaded the unit that morning with $100.00 worth of food. He had to go to an adjoining county to get the necessary part since it is an older unit, but he promised to return by 7:00 PM and make the repair and he was true to his word. Because of the quick response by CHW and the compassion of the technician, I didn't suffer any loss due to the downtime of the unit. Thanks so much!

I've had other warranties throughout my time as a homeowner, and CHOICE is by far the best! My AC recently went out; they had someone here early the next day (I called around 7:30 pm) and he was courteous, effective, and efficient. Everything was handled very professionally and expeditiously! Another satisfied customer!

My dishwasher in my rental property wasn't pumping out and we made a claim which was handled in a timely manner, and the company said it would take more to fix it than it was worth. So Choice claims dept said they would send us a check which was a fair amount and I plan to purchase a new dishwasher with that money. I am very satisfied.

I called Choice Warranty to set up a second call (June 4th) about the A/C unit, still not functioning properly. Ok, on June 16th, I had to call them again...about same exact issue. This would have been the 3rd call. Choice Warranty assured me they would inform this same company to review the unit properly; therefore, in order to get the unit to function properly. Choice Warranty has excellent customer service, but some of the companies that are contracted are not as professional as the company they are contracted with. I appreciate the professionalism Choice Warranty always provides!

Our air conditioning went out. Very satisfied with service from CHW and the contractor they provided. My initial call was made late on a Sunday afternoon. The contractor called me on a Sunday and made the appointment for service. The contractor that was assigned to me was fantastic. Thank you so much Choice Home Warranty!

I have used CHW twice now. The first time was for furnace repair and I'm very happy with the result. This second time was for A/C. It's not yet resolved, but it's heading in the right direction. So far 4 out of 5 stars.

Could have not asked for a better customer service department. The response time was faster than I had expected.

We had a rapid response to our request for service. The plumber who came to the house that same day was very nice and very helpful. He didn't have the part he needed and, since this was a Friday, he was not able to finish the job till the following Monday. But he did a great job and, best of all, it was our first claim and cost us nothing. Not only would we recommend Choice Home Warranty, we already did to a friend unhappy with his current warranty company and he will probably be changing his coverage to Choice soon.

Microwave repair: Service rep called to notify when he was arriving. Arrived on time. Took two trips (due to having to order parts), but everything works now.

Called and plumber arrived next Monday as was a weekend and not emergency. Did work. Couple days same issue. Plumber return and no extra charge. It's now been a few months and no issues.

I have found Choice Home Warranty to be extremely responsive and very fair in their coverage. I've had dealings with other companies, and that experience has not been nearly as good. When you enter a claim, they respond - usually within a few hours. The contractors have all been pretty good, though one of them billed CHW/me for a part they did not install (I hope you guys chase them down). Let's be honest: they are not a charity and in the business to make money. But if you take care of your stuff (with regular maintenance), and it breaks down per the warranty terms, I have found CHW to be very fair on their repairs.

Took no time to get my air conditioner working. The company that they send was very fast and polite. Solved my problem fast. Best warranty service I ever had.

Very prompt response to an AC unit on the fritz. When it is summer in Alabama and you don't have air getting someone willing to come out and fix your problem the next day is almost unheard of. Tech was friendly and accommodating. Overall a good experience.

My washer machine broke on Wednesday 06/11/15. I called Choice home warranty, they set up a service call, I got someone working on my washer machine the next day. I really recommend choice home warranty to anybody, excellent result no issues at all. I give them an AAAAA+++++. Very happy...

My air conditioner was running but it was not cooling. I called Choice Home Warranty about 8:30 AM. TNT Heating and Air Conditioning came out about 4 PM and the repairman had it cooling in 30-40 minutes. I was pleased with the response from Choice Home Warranty and TNT Air Conditioning.

It took a week for the service company to come and fix it but they did a great job.

Service call for Air Conditioner - I was initially not happy because my claim was denied. However the manager I spoke to was very understanding and accommodating and explained the reason, then compromised and split the cost with me. I am extremely happy.

Empire mechanical was prompt and very courteous. My only issue is they wanted to perform a leak check and they never got back to me whether or not you approved it. Has to be some reason unit was 3 pounds low especially since I had a pound of Freon put in during March along with a capacitor that I didn't make you pay for that repair.

Hello, I would like to say Choice Home Warranty thank you for the great service. I made one call to your company and the staff understood me well as I explain what was going on with my a/c unit. The same day I receive an email and a call from the company y'all provided to come out and repair the a/c unit. The company call me right away and set appointment the very next day. They came out and repaired the a/c unit to my house and working wonderful. I'm very happy and pleased with the company. I will recommend Choice Home Warranty to my family and friends.

If this is published on CHW website I will be surprised. I had American Home Shield and was wowed to Choice because of the low pricing of the plan and $45 home visit cost. The first time I used them one of my air conditioners went out. We are in Arizona, at 110 degrees today. They sent out a local company. The guy was courteous and nice. The result was I had a broken fan blade and it caused the motor to fail. So Choice will NOT PAY for what they call secondary damage. So the Fan can be fixed but not the $400 motor. I feel like a fool. But the home office insists their contract of which I never got a copy states secondary damages not covered.

Very good customer service. Every time I call they were very nice and understand my needs. I have 5 policy with them. I am glad that I select good company. Everybody they are very knowledgeable and knows their job. My ac problem was solved very much satisfaction.

After submitting repair request online, in couple of hours I got email with technician contact information. I called and scheduled the service for next day. Technician showed up on time and performed the repair without any issues. This was my first service request and it was great experience.

The service was excellent. I filed a claim online and within 30 minutes I was contacted with the information regarding the company that was going to do my repair. They came right out first thing the next day. The technician did an excellent job. Customer service was excellent. He had us up and running in no time.

I called in with my claim and requested a customer service representative and was put on hold for several minutes until a representative was available. At that time my claim was quickly processed and claim numbers given. Very efficient, professional, friendly, patient in answering all my questions and concerns. After hanging up I received the information about the plumber and phone number to call, and set the appointment for service. Everything went as planned, and extremely satisfied!

I called CHW when my AC quit working. They immediately sent out a service request. I received an email 24 hours later asking the status of my request. They were very quick to respond and great in following up.

Technician called me within an hour of reporting the claim, and had someone to diagnose issues before the end of the day. Tuesday, the work was completed in full and was very satisfied with the technician and his helpfulness. Great experience with no complaint at all.

I called in my service at approximately 7 pm. Your office was very nice and helped set up my claim. I called the number given and the service company was behind and said they could be at my home the next afternoon which was understandable. It was 95 degrees. **, the service tech came as he said he would. He called while on his way and got my unit running. I thought the problem was continuing so I called him after he left. He was very attentive and said he would return back at about 8 pm. to check the problem. In the meantime he suggested I restart my unit and see if it corrects itself. It did so I called him to save him a trip and thank him. It all turned out well on a very busy and hot day. Thank you.

I was so impressed with Choice Home Warranty. The people I spoke with were so kind and understanding when I spoke with them. This was the first time I had ever filed a claim so I was really out of my element. They were so patient as I tried to explain my problem and made a potentially tough situation so much easier. I can't say thank you enough to them. Hopefully I won't ever have to file another claim but if I do, I won't hesitate to work with them.

The CSR was very understanding and professional. (That was my first claim). I received emails confirming that my claims had been filed. Shortly afterwards I received a call from the plumbing company to schedule an appointment. They came and made the repairs in a reasonable amount of time. They were very friendly and professional.

I purchased my home a year ago and had no issues with Old Republic Home Warranty. In fact, they were awesome -- not one claim denied. I researched home warranty companies and found Choice as a 5 star rated company, so I switched and went with them May 2015. It is now mid-June and my A/C started blowing warm air. I called Choice and made my first claim. The repairman came out and said I needed a new compressor, but because the age of the unit he would recommend a new outside unit because the cost is similar.

I called Choice Warranty on a Thursday and by Friday we had someone at the house fixing the air. They were pleasant and they're courteous. We are very pleased with Choice and the way they responded. Thank you.

Everything I call to get fixed is not covered. I never received any contract showing limits on what they fix. I added the ice maker and paid extra, but found it does not cover a freestanding ice maker. The light in my shower quit working. Again, I was told that it was not covered. When I complained, they said they would send somebody out. Any plug outside the house is also not covered.

My AC stopped blowing cold wind on last hot Thursday. I filed an online claim on Friday late afternoon. CHW quickly dispatched AC technician ** even my contract still needed several days to take effect. He arrived on hot Saturday noon, quickly identified/fixed issue and refilled some freon. Then my AC came back with very cold wind. ** is friendly and very efficient. Choice Home Warranty cares customers and provides excellent service. I will recommend CHW to my friends.

The technician came on time. He was very professional and completed the needed repairs in time.

I called on a Friday morning when my air conditioner stopped working. Choice Warranty located and had a service tech here by about 4pm. The fan motor on the outside unit was out. ** the tech was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He also added Freon and tuned the unit. He noticed some other problems with a previous company's shoddy work and made recommendations for its repair. Also pointed out where a drain trap needs to be installed that had been left out of the original installation. Choice Warranty found a very competent and caring company to represent them and I am very pleased with the new relationship.

We called Choice and they contacted a local plumber. They were out the next day and it was fixed! A 2nd toilet had the same problem. Called Choice, and the same plumbing co. came out the next morning, and also fixed. Great!

Garage Door Opener - My technician was on time, very courteous, and very conscientious. He explain very well the work he was doing and he cleaned up any mess he made. I was very pleased with his work and how efficient he was. I would say that I am a happy customer. GOOD JOB!!! I would recommend Choice Home Warranty to all my friends and family.

The contractors they work with are so inadequate. They do not come when they tell you (hours/days late!). The work performed is horrible! You will probably need someone to come in after to clean up (as I did). CHW does not cover most repairs.

This past week I had a very favorable experience regarding the repair of our upstairs A/C unit that was not cooling properly. Choice Home Warranty selected a very competent contractor, Lovic HVAC LLC, to make the needed repairs. When I called Lovic, I was immediately scheduled for a repair call to come out within 36 hours. Technician called and asked if he could make the repair a little earlier. He arrived shortly and within about 45 minutes had inspected our A/C equipment, correctly diagnosed my A/C's need, and completed the repair. Before leaving he checked the temperature of the air again at the ceiling register and it was then cooling very well at 54 degrees. What a difference this man made in our homes comfort level. He was prompt, courteous, and competent. I am a happy customer!

After calling you for 4 times and waiting on calls back to get my air condition working, the first repairman would not show up because you refuse to pay his other repair bills. If you are that big of a company you should have all kind of repairmen on your call list. Your company seems to be running a scam. They sign people up and take their money then when you need a repair you can't find anyone to do the repair because you don't have any repair facilities to do the work because you won't pay them and they have wised up and quit doing work for you. You are a rip off artist plain and simple. And see where many other people has complaints against you on the same thing.

My call was handled quickly. I was given an order number and phone number to a repair service. The repair service was able to come out the following day. Repair was done quickly and professionally. And I was able to do my laundry.

My A/C unit was not cooling. It took a while to find a provider, but I was able to call my own service provider and they made the repair. I was reimbursed for almost all of the bill.

We were highly satisfied with how quickly our washing machine was repaired. We received a call from technician within one hour of calling Choice Warranty and the technician was polite and quick to respond to our needs.

Have been with Choice Home Warranty for almost a year. This was my second claim with them. Most recent, my 1968 Kenmore upright freezer died while away in Central America. I called and promptly got a Representative to set up the claim. This was at 4:30 pm central time. A few minutes later at 4:50 pm, the tech from May and Company was calling and setting up the appointment for the next morning.

The air conditioner was repaired properly.

Aerator went out on our septic system. Called in claim. Tech responded promptly and was able to have system repaired in 48 hours. Which was nice.

I went to wash my clothes and I smelled a burning smell and the washer stopped working. So I made a call to Choice Home Warranty to make a claim to get it fixed. I was given the number to call and the guy gave me a time and a day to come out. The man arrived on time and fixed the washer in no time. I would tell anyone that I know Choice Home Warranty is the right choice for a home warranty.

AC repair - Quick and easy same day service.

You have great service. The only thing is the repair man that was supposed to come did not call as to what time they were going to be here. We called them a couple of times and were told the man would be at the house by 6pm. We wasted our day waiting for a call. Would appreciate that we get a different repair company next time. Thanks.

Washer failed to operate properly. Easily contacted Choice who took the claim via the internet. The repair technician was assigned and sent out promptly. Appliance was checked out as to problem, could not be repaired. Choice offered to replace. Amount of value for a new machine was fair and was accepted.

We had a very good response time in getting a plumber, they came the same day I called. I had to pay a little bit more than normal, but they got the job completed quite efficiently and it was done with a good quality of work.

At first we had some miscommunication regarding the diagnosis from the technician to CHW. Although, it took a few days they did meet my expectations regarding the replacement of my stove. I am quite happy that I was able to get my stove replaced in a timely manner and I am very grateful to CHW for listening to my concerns and taking a second look at the issues involved in replacing the stove. I called CHW for a plumbing issue and within 2 hours Cummings Plumbing had called me to set up an appointment to come out and take care of my issues. Cummings came out (with whom I have dealt with for 14 years!!!) and were on time and very professional, polite, and clean and explained their work to me. I am very happy. I hope CHW always uses such quality people to do their jobs for their customers.

I had a company come out to replace a cracked garbage disposal, they had first introduced themselves. Handed me a business card to show the name of the company. I was very impressed, they were clean, explained a couple of parts to me on how to work the disposal if it ever got stuck, were there and finished in about 30 minutes.

Technician was assigned and the order was sent very quickly. Technician (The English Property Management Company of St Louis) was very communicative and adept at getting approval for the repair needed.

I was definitely thrilled by the service received by the electrician who was sent. However, the plumbing company sent wasn't very friendly at all and the service received was very gruff and vague!

95 degree hot afternoon. Guess what? AC goes out. I put in a call to CHW to report my problem. Operator said he would give the request for service to dispatcher and expect a call from them. Their response was surprisingly quick - a matter of minutes - was called and given the name and phone # of the service co. that was to take care of my problem. I was surprised they did everything so fast. My problem was solved that evening. THANK YOU.

Repair on kitchen disposal and plugged toilet. I felt repairs were done in a reasonable time. Very happy with service.

My wash machine started leaking water during operation so I called CHW to send out a repair/service agent. The issue was diagnosed and I was told that CHW would have to authorize the part needed to fix my machine. They called me back with the decision that the part needed was too costly for the life expectancy of my wash machine. Instead I was offered ** of dollars towards the purchase of a new machine. My husband and I feel this solution was fair and appropriate. My only complaint would be the processing time needed to refund me a check. 30 days or less. Realistically I need my laundry washed now, so even though I expect a resolution, it was not immediate. I would like CHW to issue refunds in 7 days or less when these situations come up. My pool pump motor went bad and needed to be replaced. The servicemen that Choice had couldn't be out for a week so I called and CHW gave me reimbursement forms and I used my own person.

This is the second time I have had Choice Home Warranty, once at the home I moved from and now at my new home. I would recommend these folks to my best friend or any family member. They know how to treat a customer and if you have a problem they take care of it at once.

My exhaust and ceiling fan wasn't working in the bathroom, electrician came at the appointed time. He fixed ceiling fan, had to order a part for exhaust, waiting for that. Overall I would recommend.

My Trane air conditioner was working fine on 6/10 but stopped cooling late that day. Early on 6/11 I called Choice Home Warranty and explained the problem and within ten minutes they had me in touch with an area service company who had a technician on the phone to me in almost no time. He said he could be at my house in two hours and he was right on time. Besides going to work on the problem, he offered lots of advice; he was a real professional. He had to replace the fan capacitor and the compressor capacitor, and then added some freon. He checked with folks at Choice Home Warranty for approval and everything was great! I am so glad I chose Choice Home Warranty to stand behind so many things I depend on at my home!

Leak from water pipe to toilet leaking. I called in to Choice Home Warranty and reported my plumbing problem. I was quickly given a service # and a local plumbing company. I was told if I did not hear from company in one hour to call phone # given. After not hearing I did call and was given a date and time for repairs. Plumbing company did call back and came over to repair toilet. The work was completed and cleaned up to my satisfaction.

Bought an older home about 2 months ago and the A/C stopped cooling during the hottest week we've had this year. I put in a request around 9pm one night (after hoping it would fix itself all day) and a local service provider was at my door at noon the following day and fixed it in about 30 minutes. After having done some home repairs and hiring out various services, I was very impressed with how quickly they arranged for someone to come out.

My air condition needed to be repaired, the experts was professional and very much experienced.

Had a clogged toilet unclogged. Was done in a timely manner. Liked the way you guys checked to see if worked was completed. Great job.

Filed claim for pool heater repairs and I received prompt and educated service from the contractor sent by CHW. It was found that the heater was not economically repairable after all, but CHW offered their maximum contribution towards the purchase of a new heater, which is in the process for being installed. CHW staff has been very professional and kind. Only one minor issue: they are very busy and one has to wait a while to get on the phone with them. Not a big deal for the service received.

I had my garbage disposal break and filed a claim. After paying the service man to come out to fix my disposal, he called Choice Home Warranty and they denied the claim. Also could not get my money back when I asked for a refund. Stay away so you also do not get scammed!!! They are an F rated company on BBB. Do not believe these reviews.

The problem with my dryer was quickly identified and a response from the company was resolved within the first 24 hours. Unfortunately the dryer could not be repaired (no parts available - item discontinued) and will have to purchase a new one. Choice made a cash settlement for the broken one. I would recommend the company to anyone who is interested in purchasing a home warranty.

Once I contacted Choice Home Warranty by phone - things happened very quickly. Excellent service!! Very well-run company. An electrical breaker kept flipping off the power to one of my rooms. I filed a claim and a repairman arrived the next morning. He searched until he found the source of the problem, corrected it and so far no more loss of power.

Service call for water leak under kitchen sink. Service provider arrived within a few hours of the original call. He determined that my garbage disposal had to be replaced. He was unable to acquire a new unit until the next day and returned before 8:00 AM to install the new one. I was extremely satisfied with the service from CHW and the local repairman from Drain Wizard.

Updated on 02/23/2024: I've been with Choice for over ten years, and I've saved over $25,000.00. My first house had a Roof leaking problem, Choice repaired that for me with only a Technician Service fee of $45.00. My new home Microwave Wave quit on me, Choice bought me a new one. My Bathroom Toilet had a leaking problem, a Technician came out right away with only a Service fee. My Kitchen fluorescent light fixture went bad, a Technician came out and fixed that. My Dryer broke down, I called Choice, a Technician came out and repaired that at. My Water Heater broke down a few days ago, I asked my Handyman if he could fix it, he said it would cost me over $1,800.00 to replace it. I called Choice, they sent out a Technician, and for only a Service fee, my Hot Water was back on within an hour. Choice has saved me a whole lot of money over the years. I highly recommend Choice. Choice is my Choice.

AC system stopped working on Sunday. Choice assigned the claim to a technician and they sent ** first thing on Tuesday morning. ** quickly diagnosed the problem and realized he needed a non-standard part. He quickly got to repair approved and we were back on line by noon. This was my first claim with Choice since signing my contract in 2014 and I couldn't be more pleased with the service, speed and ease of filing the claim.

Refrigerator needed to be repaired after it stopped cooling. Choice Home Warranty responded rapidly to my call for repair. Avant's Electronic Appliance Repair Service called me very soon afterward and did a wonderful job in fixing the problem both pleasantly and expeditiously. It was a very pleasant experience!

I was assigned a really great air conditioning company called Family Air Conditioning. They gave me a 2 hour window and called me on the way so I did not have to stay outside or inside in the heat. The man located the problem and actually had the parts to fix it on his truck so it was immediately fixed. Thanks.

Choice Warranty is a very good company. I've had to call them for my AC and for my toilet. Customer service was good and my repair company came out the next day. I was with another company before, they was nothing like Choice.

My air condition was blowing hot air. The technician came and fix but gave me 30 days warranty on May 20th 2015. Last Saturday I experienced the same problem. I gave Trade Tek a call and they took care of me. I have always Choice warranty response to my claims. I am trying to get my families & friends to join.

My AC broke down at 1 pm and the service man arrived within 2 hours of the call and they provided me with good service but made a wrong diagnosis and I got a second opinion and the repair was made and Choice paid for the repair.

I have had the Choice Home Warranty for a couple of years and I recently place 3 work orders with them. The customer service reps were very friendly and they assigned my work orders to the appropriate technicians immediately. These work orders were completed within 2 days. I would recommend Choice Home Warranty to anyone.

Buyer beware!!! They lie and do not adhere to their own contract rules and exclusions. Offered me 55.00 to replace an electric stove. I spoke to the contractor who told me that they DID not tell chw the top of my glass stove was smashed in which is what they are saying caused the problem. Blamed it on the contractor's diagnosis... poor excuse for a home warranty company. How do you sleep at night???

I called the claim in on Sun. and a AC tech was at my house on Mon. morning. HQS Refrigeration **, the tech name, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Diagnosed the problem and had the AC running in 30 min. Great service. Thank you CHW and HQS Refrigeration.

I had an 18 year old Craftsman garage door opener that suddenly became inoperative. I called Choice and when they couldn't immediately contact a jobber they gave me the option of calling a jobber locally and they would reimburse the covered charges. The jobber confirmed the operator was bad and could not be repaired and recommend replacement. He spoke to the Choice claims folks, and after thorough review they authorized a replacement unit. Choice faxed me the reimbursement form immediately and I completed it and returned same. What a great and smooth procedure. I highly recommend Choice for home warranty service.

When our very old AC unit finally broke down, I called Choice and technician was sent to the house. I then found out that they required a specific leak test that they would not pay for. The quotes I got for the test were from $250.00 to $900.00. So I hired someone to do the test and was told by Choice that the 27-year old unit could only have broken down from no maintenance so they were not going to pay for the repair. It was 27 years old. And they claimed that there are only four ways that the unit could break and none were covered. So I have to come up with another $2500.00 to replace the unit. I cancelled the coverage with them immediately. Liars and thieves. Don't use them. Their per visit cost is cheaper than some others but the whole thing is a setup and when you need an expensive repair, they will move quickly to cut you loose.

The person from Coyote plumbing ** came promptly at 8:00 am as was told me by their representative. He was clean, professional and very very sweet demeanor. I felt very at ease talking with him and we laughed and joked around. He recommended that I notify CHW immediately to put in a different claim for unplugging a stopped up sink. CHW was very fast and helpful in this new work order. He quietly did all the work necessary and collected his things and left with instructions on how to operate the new disposal and the Don'ts for future use. I loved them and will recommend them in future to everyone. I am loving being able to use my sinks and disposal again!!! Thank God for you guys!!!

Our central A/C unit stopped cooling on a Saturday morning on one of the hottest days we've had this year. Typically, that's how it happens. Systems don't break during working hours! Within minutes of filing my claim with Choice Home Warranty, the service was assigned to a technician. Hoping for the best, I gave Family Comfort Heating and Air, Rutledge, TN, a call. ** was very friendly and accommodating. I fully expected to not even hear from anyone until Monday, but ** called Sunday morning and said he was on the way. The problem was solved quickly and efficiently, and I'm very pleased with the service. I had switched to Choice Home Warranty from another provider a few months back due to their lack of response to requests. Not so with Choice, I'm happy.

I have been with Choice a while with 5 properties at one time or another. It has been extremely difficult to repairs done on my ac's. They tell you that age of the appliances is no problem until you submit a claim. I have had to replace 3 units myself and for that reason why would you need a warranty. That means I am paying twice. Not a good company to me.

My dryer stopped working on a Saturday night, called and by Sunday morning I had a claim number, and name, and number of the repair people to come out to fix my dryer. The rates and fees are excellent, better than any other home warranty insurance.

We noticed water leaking from our clothes washing machine. After determining that the leak wasn't coming from the hoses, we called for service. Choice Home Warranty was quick to assign an order number and a service provider to inspect the washer. Home Warranty followed up to make sure the service provider was timely in setting up an appointment. The motor had developed a small crack and needed to be replaced. Home Warranty also followed up to make sure the service had been performed.

This was my first time having to use my home warranty and I could not be any happier. The claim process was very easy and Star 5 Plumbing contacted me and replaced my disposal by noon the same day!! Even though it was not an emergency Star 5 Plumbing was able to fit me in the same day. Kudos all around :)

My claim was handled professionally and promptly. The service company Major Appliance was prompt and professional as well and worked around my busy schedule to make it convenient for me. The only thing is when I called Choice I gave my work number for the repair company to contact me to set up an appt and they were given the wrong number (my home number) which caused a slight delay in getting the repair done.

This warranty is hopeless and basically covers minor repairs. And though they say they will replace if the problem is irreparable, this is not the case. So please save your monthly policy premiums and cost per visit as it will come in handy when you have to pay for the repairs / replacements yourself. CHW will NOT replace anything and without any proper diagnostics they just tell you to "read the uncovered exceptions" (if the system needs to be replaced). And talking about customer service, I would rate them at 0.25/5 if there was an option. And the manager who dealt with my claims was also rude and had zero customer service ethics and was just blunt and offered to cancel my policy if I was not satisfied with their response to my claim.

The gentleman who came to service our dishwasher were very professional and got the job done very quickly. I would recommend them any day!

My AC was out of work then I called Choice home warranty. They quickly send a technician coming to my house and fix it on the same day. Very positive experience with them. I have been with them for a quite long time and very happy every time. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

The vendor that was assigned to our claim would not set an appointment based on our availability but only on theirs so we had to call to see if they could come out and they would advise if they were able to. They would then call us back when they were available to see if they could come out. Well, for 2 days when they would call, my wife was not going to be home at that time. On the 3rd day, she was finally able to have him come out. In all my years of setting appointments to have someone come out to the house, I've never had a set up like this. I will definitely ask for another vendor if we have another stoppage and this vendor is assigned to the claim.

I have always had great service from CHW. I love that I was allowed to choose my favorite AC tech.

I had my first claim today, it was for an HVAC unit not functioning. The claim was denied because the motor malfunctioned causing the compressor to fail. They said the compressor failure was secondary to the motor failure and because of that it was not going to be covered. I have had a home warranty in the past and have NEVER heard of this. The AC is not working I expect it to be repaired unless it failed due to negligence.

New Customer - first time user - everything about this process is a FAIL and the Sales Rep lied, lied and lied again. Response times are totally made up, service in our area totally made up but the worst part is the illusion of 24/7 contact. FORGET IT. No one answers the phone - if you're willing to hang on for an hour - you get a Rep that can't say anything but "we're sorry for the inconvenience." The "technicians" assigned don't service the area and you get to do it all over again. Call the number and wait on hold UNLESS you select the Sales Option - pickup on the first ring. Not that it will get you anymore service but at least it saves the hours of listening to how important you are to them by the automated system.

Stated all issues preexisting and only in effect 5 days. Everything in new house preexisting. Refused to fix as low on freon with leak.

Was able to get resolved. Sump pump replaced within couple of hours of calling. Great customer service!!!

We received a call very quickly and the repair company came out the next day. A part had to be ordered but it came in early and they came back immediately. The tech was awesome and the fridge is working like new! I will recommend Choice Home Warranty to all my friends and neighbors!

My AC is not working and I called Choice Home Warranty. Within 1 hour, they assigned an order and the AC repair shop called me within 30 minutes. We scheduled for the repair and they replaced a new PCB board and HomeChoice covered the repair without any problem.

I had issues with both my washer and dryer and a technician was assigned to come look at both for one service fee. He said he needed to order parts and both were approved quickly. I'm waiting for the parts to come in but expect them tomorrow. I am happy with the ease of scheduling and the quickness of arrival and approval.

I have been experiencing a problem with my heat pump since the beginning of March. The first technician that was sent was clueless to HVAC issues. The second tech was supposed to troubleshoot my system but didn't. This last time the professionals that were sent were a welcomed relief. Lilly LLC(Breck) diagnosed my heat pump, got it up and running properly and even found what caused the initial problem of burning smell. Breck has restored my confidence in CHW. I hope that any future experiences with CHW techs are a sign that are as good or better as this one with Breck and Lilly LLC.

I wish you had service people in San Angelo. The 50 miles radius idea for service people doesn't cut it when your service person is a distance away. And it's the only service for that small town, they are less likely to make a run to me 30 miles away and service the hometown. I called my own serviceman because your person never called me. I saw in my contract where rust was not cover but I could find nothing on the drain. Your company treat me fairly. Because it was the first claim the representative said they were going to reimburse me $40.00 of the $85.00 receipt I submitted.

After logging my repair need, I was assigned a repair technician the next business day. He was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to fix the issue.

The technician was very professional and appeared to know what he was doing. He came in and worked on repairing my washer. I was disappointed with the supervisor at Choice Home Warranty who initially did not want to pay for the part. I called back after being disconnected. I talked with someone who appeared to know that the part was not the door. It all was taken care and I hope to be a customer for a long time.

I submitted a review from a phone conversation that was placed on 5/31/2015. The salesperson was rude as I tried explaining at this time I was only shopping around. When he was not satisfied with the call, he hung up on me. I have received numerous calls from a New Jersey randomized caller ID, which means I cannot block the calls since it continuously changes. I just received one from a salesman at 09:26am that wants to give me even more discounts for a company I cannot support. CHW also deleted my original post on 5/31/2015 for the original sales call. No wonder CHW rating is 4+ stars, someone is deleting the reviews.

I made 2 claims within 2 months for my AC. The first claim resulted in a tech adding freon but telling me I had a leak but he wasn't allowed to fix it. The second claim, I cancelled and opted to have my AC repaired by a company who would ACTUALLY fix it and not give me the run around. Choice Home Warranty told me that I could submit a reimbursement claim. My AC was under manufacturer warranty and the parts were covered; however the labor and freon was not covered and I paid $1035. Choice denied the reimbursement based on their not covering warrantied items but labor and freon wasn't under warranty... only the evaporator coil. They offered me a $33.75 (one month credit of the contract). I regret choosing Choice Home Warranty and as a result of my dissatisfaction have cancelled my Choice Home Warranty contract today.

The heater was not shutting down once the set temperature was reached. I had to turn off the breakers in order to shut down the heater. Once I called CHW, Go Green tech came next day. He replaced a part and system was up and running.

Very prompt service getting air conditioner working within 24 hrs. of submitting claim.
