The problem I thought was a plumbing leak. The plumber came out quickly, accessed the situation and seems to do a very thorough job. He determined the leak is from the roof and recommended a roofer continue the inspection. Choice assigned a roofer quickly but they have a backlog and I am still waiting for their inspection, in another day or two.

Choice assigned Ralph Messina & Son to fix my washing machine. It needed a new motor which Choice authorized! I am so happy I didn't need to purchase a new washing machine. Thank you to Ralph Messina and Son and Choice Home Warranty for a job well done!

I'm very pleased with the customer service at Choice Home Warranty. Also very happy with my experience. Had an issue with my heating unit. My claim was handled quickly and efficiently. I was able to get in touch with someone fast and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The entire experience from the initial call for service through the actual service call was flawless. Everyone was polite and professional. Very pleased with the whole experience.

They were able to fix the problem with dryer at time of visit. I'm very pleased with the service.

The sprocket on the garage door opener broke off and required to be fixed. The repairman called me early and asked if he could show up earlier, but I had a previous appointment and would not be available. Once he showed up I showed him what was the problem, he had the part to make the repair and do so in a timely manner. He was very courteous and polite. I had no issue with him at all and would recommend his service to anyone.

Garbage Disposal - Quick and easy replacement.

Called to claim a fan motor about to cease working due to loud noises. It was quickly taken care of.

My microwave stopped working, called CHW. Their tech was here following day and spend good amount of time to fix. Then I was told that it is worthless to fix it. And will get a good amount of money for its replacement. I'm satisfied with their policy. And I will recommend to my relatives and my friends to think about having CHW for their houses too. My experience is very satisfactory with this company.

I'm not sure how it's possible that this company has anything other than a negative rating. Poor service, slow service, low budget contractors, and all around just a bad experience. We needed something as simple as the wax ring replaced on a toilet and even that was not done properly. I hired my own contractor after the toilet leaked onto my first floor ceiling and he confirmed there was no way that the wax ring on the toilet was ever actually replaced, yet I was charged a service fee. CHW did not care. Worst decision ever to switch to this company.

I used the service 3 times because of a Samsung refrig that keeps icing up. After my call to Choice the repair was made and at the time I was happy. Thru no fault of Choice the unit at the 3rd try can not be fixed as they stopped making the motherboard.

This was my first claim filed with Choice and was pleasantly surprised. He came on Saturday and I didn't have to leave work early for this. That was great!! The job was done quick and efficient!! I recommended Choice Home Warranty to others!

My heating system was blowing cool air. I called Choice Home Warranty and was given a contractor to fix my system. A-mechanical called that day to set an appointment. The technician came and fixed my system. He was very knowledgeable, explained the problem, very courteous.

Once, they found a plumber that could work on a tankless water heater all was well. They came out, found the problem, and it was fixed when the part arrived, and I was back with hot water. Until then showers were not pleasant.

I called the claim i,n contacted by phone and E-Mail. Got a claim number, was given the name and number of Executive HVAC. Called, My heat pump was fixed the same day. Very pleased - great service.

Repair was very friendly and professional.

I placed a call to Choice on Thursday and was answered by an associate who promptly took my information about the leak in my water heater. She was professional and precise. She promised a call back or an email within 4 hours. I got a call and an email I contacted R and D, and was given an appointment for the next morning between 9 and 12. Mr. ** arrived around 9:05. He analyzed the problem and fixed the pipe where the hole was. He was fast and professional and I am pleased with the work. I would recommend Choice Home to friends and family and I thanked my sister for telling me about your company.

I called CHW and told them what was wrong. By the time I got off the phone the services company called and set an appointment for that day and came by and fixed the problem. I'm very satisfied with CHW. Thank you.

I called Choice Warranty and they put me in touch with At Your Service. They set up an appt. and actually arrived early. The technician was very professional and found the problem right away. He placed an order for the broken part and will have it installed on the 19th. This was my first call to Choice Warranty and I am very pleased with my experience. I will not hesitate to refer friends to Choice Warranty for their home warranty needs.

I put an online request for a repair person on Sunday. Tuesday, someone was here to save the day. I was very happy with the response time and the repair person was very knowledgeable and professional. I have already told friends and family about how happy I am.

Called for a electrical service and CHW was able to assign the technician in one hour. However, the technician was not able to service my location and CHW was able to locate another technician next day. Technician arrived next day and fixed the outlets. The claim was referred to T. J TECH ENTERPRISE, whose representative called the evening of the claim date and made an appointment. He arrived promptly, examined the problem, and after consulting with CHW quickly replaced the fan. This took only minutes with calm, professional and polite service. An excellent experience.

This was my first experience with a claim and the process. Once I placed the call, I received follow up emails confirming my claim, and how I would be contacted. I was contacted within the hour by the contractor who would be making the service call. The technician arrived as promised, and identified the problem. They did not have the part that was needed, and indicated a 5 day turnaround, which is understandable. I elected to pay for the next service, and my washing machine was running 2 days later. This made me feel very confident in my investment in Choice Home Warranty.

AC unit shut down. Choice responded promptly. Choice had repair men out to fix it immediately. Fan motor froze up and the repairmen had a motor on their truck. Choice then followed up to make sure I was taken care of.

This was my first claim with CHW and I was very pleased. The technician assigned came out the 2nd day after I was contacted and assessed the problem. A part had to be ordered and he returned the following week at 8:00 PM and within 30 minutes he had the burner working as good as new.

Washer machine was shaking, making noise, stopped in a middle of process. We called CHOICE. Was easy to open a claim, assigned company responded right away. It took three days to complete and rep up our claim. CHOICE offered a fair deal to us. We are glad to be their customers and would gladly recommend this company to our friend.

I have had home warranties for the last 15 yrs on my homes. I changed this last time as where I moved my company did not service that area. I researched and went with Choice. Bad decision. I have had 4 claims in 3 yrs and with each claim it has taken over 3 weeks to get the item fixed. I am talking refrigerator, garbage disposal type stuff nothing off the wall. This last service call was for a Whirlpool refrigerator. They have for 3 weeks assigned 4 vendors all from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes away. They all accepted the job. Set up a service call. Then day of service call cancel say it's too far and it needs to be reassigned. I ask why they are not assigning anyone closer they tell me. "We have tried. They are too busy." I call the first 4 listed on the internet all within 12 miles of the house and they have not been contacted at all.

I had to confirm the appointment a few times and wait longer than the appointment window but the technician was prepared, quick and cleaned up after he was finished. I am very pleased with my choice. Choice Home Warranty.

I have used Choice Warranty twice and both times I had immediate and excellent care.

A very nice gentleman came to my home and assessed the problem with my range. He was trustworthy and he communicated everything he needed to do. This was my first claim and it was handled professionally and very quickly. I am so happy with Choice Home Warranty.

My dryer would not turn on. The serviceman that came was very nice and very professional. Was able to fix the problem and I was very happy!

My first experience with Choice was with my refrigerator freezer. The first call, I had an experienced refrigerator repairman very quickly and he did a good job fixing my refrigerator. The second problem occurred quite a long time later, it was over Labor Day Weekend and the agency referred by Choice didn't answer my request to schedule an appointment.

The microwave needed too much to repair, so CHW is sending a check for replacement of microwave.

My washer was not allowing water into the tub. It would spin but no water. Wondering who to call that you can depend on. I remembered I had CHW coverage. I got online and submitted my request. I was answered promptly and was given a repair tech to call. He was prompt and courteous and a very nice guy. I was satisfied totally with the service.

I was so happy I purchased Choice warranty. My refrigerator wouldn't get cold and the technician came in a timely manner and repaired. I was very pleased. Technician was very courteous and knowledgeable.

I read all the reviews and was very impressed with C.H.W., I went ahead and bought 3 policies (3 houses that I owned) last year. I have 1 claim, my dishwasher did not work and I paid $45 for technician out. I did not hear any back for month, I called CHW and they said my dishwasher I bought from Sears therefore I need to contact Sears for service (???). I explained that I did not have any warranty with Sears but my claim denied anyway.

Garage door opener repair - The claim was handled professionally with no pushback. The tech arrived, had questions for CHW and got the response to repair in minutes.

The team was fabulous. They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and installed the new disposal.

I only had my Choice Hime Warranty for a couple of months, when my garage door opener stopped working. It was the easiest claim I have ever dealt with. I simply called it in, the next day my call was returned by the contractor, and that evening they were at my home. The whole unit had to be replace, and I only had to pay my service fee. I highly recommend this company.

Since joining CHW I have had 2 repairs done to my home. Each time I was given excellent service and response time. My claim was handled in a most expeditious manner and great Customer Service. I have already referred 2 friends to this company.

Our dishwasher broke down. We called Choice Home Warranty and a mutually agreed upon time was set up. No problems. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to diagnose our problem within minutes. The part needed to fix the dishwasher was not available so Choice gave us a percentage for a replacement dishwasher. I was very happy with the service provider. Our copay was lower than competition so that was great. My only concern was that the replacement percentage amount could have been higher since we have to buy a new dishwasher.

2nd refrigerator - Thank you for your fair replacement of this item. We were able to find a new one on sale for almost the same price. We appreciate your service.

The worse company I ever dealt with... I have the warranty for about 6 weeks and just turned on the boiler and I realized its takes a long time to heat up, so I checked the boiler and saw steam coming out of the side. I give in a claim. They gave me a number to call for a technician who never answered the phone. So after 2 weeks and complains they gave me a different company. He came and did the diagnostic and told them its normal wear and tear but he cant repair and I'm in need of a new boiler. So I called CHW for a update. They told me "the technician told us its a manufacture default." I told them its a lie. The technician never mentioned anything about manufacture default.

We have reached out to CHW several times in the past year. We have always gotten fast and friendly service. We liked CHW so much that we have renewed for another year.

Went to turn my air on last month and nothing happened. Had just had the thermostat replaced a few before that so didn't think it was that. Called the warranty co., they were able to get me in contact with a HVAC company that came out same day! Tech arrived on time. Fixed the issue. It was a faulty thermostat. But he knew what he was doing and was courteous and professional. THANK YOU!!

Great service from phone conversations to actual repair.

Furnace would not come on. Choice sent out a technician who found a defective circuit board. He ordered a new board and replaced it early the next day. Service was courteous and prompt. However, the technician departed without closing the outside power panel doors. He also neglected to put the front panel back on to the furnace itself.

Even though our warranty did not cover the repair, we were told we would receive assistance toward our repair.

I was having trouble with my garage door closing properly. After calling the claims department I was set up with a name and a phone number for GDR. I actually called GDR just as they had received my order. I spoke with a very nice lady named Darlene, explained the problem I was having and she knew right away what the problem was. I set up an appointment for the following week (my decision) and the appointment was for 9:00 am. GDR showed up right on time. Ray and Dar the servicemen knew just what to do to correct my problem. They also did a service on my door as well. Greasing, adjusting etc. just what the door needed. I will definitely recommend GDR in the future, and will ask for them on my next garage door repair. Thank you GDR. And thank you CHW.

They claim that your heating and AC system are covered if you have properly maintained the systems. By you they really mean all previous owners of the property, not just you the policy holder with CHW. I bought CHW in June 2014 shortly after I purchased my property and have done twice a year heating and AC system maintenance. Last week, during a maintenance service, it was found that one of the burner is not working so I submitted a claim. I was told the next day that the claim was denied because the unit has not been properly maintained. That I could submit service record showing I have been keeping my side of the bargain but it is still a denied claim.

We submitted a claim because our oven broiler quit working. Within 2 hours a technician was at our house. He had to get a part. Our range is a old model, so I thought it would take some time, but he was back and fixed it the very next day. With the two previous warranty companies we have used, the service fee was higher and the promptness of service never exceeded this!

The company you called was a little delayed in coming out to my property, but Choice did a good job getting on them.

Service was dispatched by Choice Home Warranty the same day that I called. Service provider attempted to unstuck a stuck valve but had to come back 3 days later to finally get the problem fixed, and replace the valve. Everything seems fine now.

The repair man set up appointment for the next day. When we talked the first time I told him the disposal leaked from the middle, not the bottom or top so I thought the disposal has to be replaced. I told him I had a 5/8 hp motor and to save time bring one with him. When he came, he agreed with my assessment and brought a 3/4 hp disposal and installed it in 30 minutes. Very quick and efficient.

I had a home warranty with American Home Shield. I was very unhappy with the way service. I was very hesitant on leaving AHS for Choice, but I'm really glad I did. The care that I was given during my furnace breakdown was second to none.

Choice Home Warranty people assign work to their contract in 1 hour and contract came to my home in next 2-3 hours and fixed in 30 mins. That help us lots to get shower instead of waiting in hours and hours.

Pool Motor sounds as though barrings going out. Called and an Electrician was sent out? He agreed with sound, but not his area. Took $45.00 and said he would transfer to appropriate person to work on pool motor. Called Choice and they received his diagnosis while on phone. Approved and would re-route with new tech. Same company called me back to set another appt? Doesn't work on pool stuff. After several calls and supervisors getting involved, landed with Orca. Diagnosis was check valves restriction, and motor ok for another year? New claim issued for check valves and another $45.00. Much confusion with this claim. Company sent not too honest with information. Choice alerted by me.

Once a plumber was lined up, the plumber was very helpful and did great job.

Had my semi annual tune up on my hvac and the technician told me I had a bad capacitor! I called Choice Home Warranty and you sent Greentec HVAC/R out to my house. The technician replaced the capacitor. He was very helpful and finished the job in a professional way. Thanks to Choice Home Warranty.

I could not be happier with my first experience using my home warranty. One of our main pipes had a crack in it. I called Choice and they had a plumber notified within an hour. I explained that I would be starting a new job in just over a week and wouldn't be able to miss work, so they expedited the repair for me. You can't imagine the relief I felt when the claim was accepted and the pipe replaced in no time! Thank you so much!

I had called in and said what was wrong and they took all my info. Said someone would be in contact. Then Choice called me back and gave me the number to the company and the claim #. So I called the company. He didn't even answer his phone professionally. Right then I knew it was going to be a bumpy ride. He said "Not today". Said he would call me back. I told him "I'm sorry but I will not be home. So please leave me a message". Then he hung up. Didn't hear anything for two days so I called Choice back. And the woman said she was going to investigate why??? She came back on the line and said "Okay. I have cancelled out the first order and was calling someone else to do the job". And she stated to me it would probably be the next day.

Very pleasant, efficient, and punctual each time.

I paid for a Choice Warranty a few months ago because I was assured it would cover the repair or replacement of my appliances. When my washing machine began squealing last week, I called. And within days a very good, local repairman came to my home, called in the problem and will return in a few days with the parts to fix my machine. I am satisfied that they have performed as represented.

Our first claim went very smoothly. The repair person came the following day to repair what turned out to be a simple problem with our outside unit on our ac. I am very pleased with the repair person, the repair company, and Choice Home Warranty for my first use of their service. At this point I am glad I got a Choice Home Warranty policy.

Contractor was professional, explained in detail what the job was consisting of, ordered parts needed. Overall I am satisfied with work.

Called Choice Home Warranty on Monday, repair service called us on Tuesday to set a date and time for service. Came to house on Thursday and replaced garbage disposal.

Arrived on time. Worked quickly and explained problem. Made repairs with new replacement items. Very clean, efficient and friendly. Well satisfied with the service. Will not hesitate calling if I have a problem and I will gladly recommend this insurance to anyone else.

My washer was not going through its cycles. Saul from Saul's appliances came out the day I made the claim and we settled on 300 for a new machine due to repair cost.

My AC is not blowing out cool air. I called Choice Home and they response fast. The AC tech shows up next day. Service is fast and efficiency, but Choice Home not cover 100%. I still pay out of pocket $1400. They only provide the coil and labor which is $800.

I was having my regular "service" completed on my air/heat and there was a problem. I contacted Choice and they had me lined up for one of their contractors to come and access the problem. Completed for the agreed upon service charge of $45.

Sam from Power One Electric was wonderful. Very helpful in explaining the problem and very professional. Our first experience with Choice was great after four years of not so great experiences with American Home Shield. So glad we made the change.

We switched to Choice as we were told it was a good plan. We called them for three separate problems - each time we paid a service fee and got no service. One time we waited over two months for service after having paid a service fee - they transferred us between five different companies and no one came out. After calling and emailing over ten times we finally got someone to come out. Now we have a plumbing leak from our bathroom. The plumber came and did nothing and then told us if we pay to have the toilets removed and find the leak OURSELVES then they will pay to fix it. It is not worth having them - they cover nothing!!! We will be switching back to AHS.

This company has told us for two days straight they would dispatch someone out to fix our water heater. No ONE HAS SHOWED UP both days. We've taken time off of work for this mess and the company doesn't even call us to tell us that no one will show up. They cashed our check and won't do the job! Going to file a complaint with BBB ASAP!

My first technician was a flop. Didn't know how to remove the stove to replace the thermostat on oven. 2nd one sent was very knowledgeable, couldn't find the part (my oven was very old). Choice is sending me a check to pay for a new oven (not enough to buy even the lowest end oven replacement, but close).

Initially, I was disappointed because the first repair facility I was told to call told me that he did not service my home area. I was then told to call Sears. Again, at first, I was disappointed because I had to wait one week for service. The Sears man was very polite, skilled, and thorough. He diagnosed my problem and estimated the cost to repair. CHOICE rejected repair because the cost was too high. I had to buy a new machine. CHOICE offered me $300 toward a new washer. Unfortunately my washer is part of an integrated stacked unit with my dryer. So both have to be replaced at a cost of $1500.

We had issues with our garbage disposal and several leaks under the kitchen sink. We called Choice Home Warranty and they assigned our claim to a local plumbing company. The company came, fixed the garbage disposal but failed to fix the leak (started leaking again after 24 hrs!). So I called Choice Home Warranty again. They tracked the plumbing company down, made them reschedule asap. Plumber came again, fixed the leak with no service call charge as it was a recall. I was pleased with the way the warranty company dealt with the plumbing company and made sure the issue would be fixed.

Heat not working. Repairman found the problem and fixed it. Very polite and friendly. Thank you.

I have been a realtor for 20 years and I like to try products or services before I recommend to my clients. In the past I have had very good success with Fidelity National Warranty but they were not available, at the time, in Arizona when I bought coverage. I thought I asked all the right questions but when I had to call and request a service call, I found out that they were not a reputable company. The reason I am writing this review is I chose them based on reviews from this site. Please look at YELP reviews for this company. Our hot water tank had a small leak but undetermined were it was. The plumber called in the claim and it was denied based on the exclusion "holding tank". If your hot water tank is leaking, they claim they do not have to cover it as it is the "holding tank". I was very upset, treated very badly and asked how much I would get back if I canceled my policy.

My service call for a leaking air conditioner was handled very well. The assigned technician did not have my information for the service call, but after I called Choice Warranty the problem was solved and I received an appointment at the same time for the same day. The technician was very knowledgeable and checked the unit to solve the problem.

I called with a problem with my refrigerator (not cooling) around 9 AM Tuesday. 2 PM next day problem was fixed. Never had this experience with my 2 previous home warranty companies. I give it 5 stars.

I reported the claim the evening of 10-31-15. The next day CHW called to say they had assigned the repair to a local subcontractor, who came the following day to make the repair. He was young, clean, professional and punctual and performed the repair swiftly and expertly. I could not be more pleased with CHW, its monthly premium, its trade call deductible, its selection of local contractors and the local contractor itself.

Robert ** replaced my previous unit. He arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the work in a timely manner. The work was done right the first time and not necessary to return for follow-up issues. I would gladly recommend him!

Washing machine repair - Sears did a good job.

I contacted CHW on Monday 11/2 and requested service on our dishwasher. I explained that the unit was not turning on after multiple attempts to get it started. CHW promptly notified me that a qualified technician would be dispatched ASAP. I got a call from a local tech within 3 hrs. We agreed on him showing up the next day 11/3. The tech arrived within the 2 hr. window we agreed on. Upon his inspection and assessment he advised that the start mechanism and switch was unrepairable. He advised CHW. CHW contacted me within 45 minutes and provided options and settlement for a replacement. I was pleased for all of these prompt service request and settlements. We have been without the use of our dishwasher for over a week and now pleased that I can now shop to replace this broken unit ASAP. I appreciate the prompt service on my contract with CHW.

We contacted our Choice Warranty rep concerning a problem with our septic system. We were emailed the name and number of the repair company within an hour. We contacted them and they were out first thing the next morning. They diagnosed and fixed our problem immediately. We have been more than satisfied each time we have used Choice Warranty!

My experience using the service to replace a broken garbage disposal was flawless! Submitting the claim was quick and easy. The company followed up to make sure the job was done in a timely fashion. The plumbers that did the job were friendly, polite and very professional. I would have no problems recommending this service to others.

I placed a claim with Choice Home Warranty because of a leak in my Hot Water Heater. They denied the claim because of all of the exclusions in the contract. They said they cover hot water heaters, but their exclusions make the coverage worthless. I cancelled my contract; and although I only had the contract for two months, they would only refund me a small portion of the yearly contract amount. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Contractor came out within 48 hrs, ordered the parts and fixed my range within 4 business days. Thank You.

My microwave stopped working on a weekend and would not come up totally. I called Choice. They immediately assigned a service personnel in my area to schedule the appointment. The technician turned up the next day and fixed the issue within an hour. Since this is my first call of the contract, Choice waived off the fee but technician did not have information and demanded check. So, called Choice and the claim specialist talked and settled the matter. Very professional. The first experience with Choice has become the best experience.

I have a current problem with my furnace. The Choice Warranty has been great keeping me updated on when the repair company was going to arrive to diagnose the problem. The problem was diagnosed but I am still waiting for a response on possible repair coverage. No issues with service however as I know these things take time to resolve. Great company all together!!

Our washing machine went out and this was our first experience using Choice Home Warranty. It couldn't have gone better. A representative quickly filed our claim, and within a matter of hours we had everything we needed to contact the repairman. Once he came out we paid our deductible and that was it. So very easy. I would HIGHLY recommend Choice Home Warranty!!

My washing machine broke on Sat. night. I called in on Sunday morning. I was given my order number and the name of the company to help me. I received a call from them on Monday, was washing clothes by Tuesday night.

Service technician was very helpful and knowledgeable, gave good advice and showed some instructional procedures. Checked for different causes of our problems and found the problem promptly. Gave an accurate account of what needed to happen and what would initially happen to fix the problem. Definitely glad we had Choice Home Warranty.

We called in our claim on Friday and received a call from Choice Saturday asking if we had heard from the vendor. We had not, so they followed up and assigned a new vendor who called us and came out as soon as they could and fixed the toilet. The vendor was very professional and actually came out sooner than expected. The process was much easier than other Home warranty companies we have used.

Wow! Amazing service. A couple of months after purchasing a home warranty from Choice Home Warranty we had to place a request for service on our furnace not coming on. I placed the request via email on a Friday night and by Monday the next week a rep. from the repair company called and set up an appointment and the repair was done promptly and on the time specified by the dispatcher. The repairman was very polite and professional. Thanks to Choice.

Our dryer stopped working. We then made our first claim ever with Choice Home Warranty. What a terrific experience! Everything the claims rep told me would happen actually happened - very refreshing! The technician came to our house to diagnose the problem at about 8:00 at night and determined that a major part was needed. Ed was pleasant and knowledgeable and we felt we were in good hands. The part took a few days to get to Ed and he came back at our scheduled time and fixed the dryer. All in all, a great experience. Glad I signed on with Choice!

The A/C man arrived right at 9:00 AM on Monday morning. He immediately knew what the issue was with the A/C unit and replaced the motor. My A/C is working and my home is back to being very comfortable.

The opener failed to operate the garage door. I called in a complaint on a Saturday and received a confirmation email and an assigned technician within an hour. The opener was replaced on Tuesday with a superior system that worked better than the old unit by a pleasant and efficient tech. I'm pleased with the prompt response and installation.

CHW impressed me with the way they handled my claim. They have responded quickly to my questions and concerns. My appliance cannot be repaired in an economical way so they are sending me a check to purchase another microwave.

I commend Texas Appliance and TV Service for scheduling service on my two items on the same day between 5pm and 8pm. Sarom ** was the technician who came. I watched Sarom as he analyzed the problem with the washing machine and stove. He is very knowledgeable as evidenced by his explanation of what he was doing and a conclusion about the problem and what it would take to fix. I believe this kind of service is very important to me and others as customers.

I had an air conditioner go out on a very hot day, and Choice Home Warranty jumped right on it. They connected me with a professional, who fixed most of the problem. What remained to be repaired was handled by another guy who came and finished it off. They covered the cost and AC was up and running. Since it was two separate companies on two separate days, I was billed twice, which I anticipated, and they promptly issued a reimbursement. What more could you ask for?

Very good service from this contractor and would use him again.

My garage door opener failed on a Saturday evening. I called Choice Home Warranty to open up a claim. They told me to expect a call Monday. First thing Monday morning, I received a call asking if I was available for a service repair around noon. They showed up on time and it was addressed shortly thereafter. I contacted CHW via email and quickly received a response with a contractor's business to call and set up the repair appointment. I contacted the contractor (Drain Masters) and was able to get a same day appointment. The repairman (John) figured out the problem quickly (two!! shower caps in drain... in rental unit). He made the repair, quickly put everything back together and the tub drains as it should now. Thank you!! Great experience.

Garbage disposal was leaking. You sent plumber. I paid my $45 service fee & received a new garbage disposal installed. It was great.

My disposal quit working. It would trip the reset when it was turned on and the disposal motor was locked up. Using the toll provided by the manufacturer to help turn the impeller was very hard to make it move just a fraction. I notified CHW and a repair facility contacted me in a few hours with a repair time. The repairman arrived earlier than the estimated time but called to verify it was ok. The remove and replace operation only took less than 30 minutes.

The service man was on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. He pinpointed the problem and had it repaired in less than an hour. Excellent work!!

It was just one of those times, where one thing after another needed repair in the house. Thank goodness a friend encouraged me take Choice Home Warranty a couple of months or so back. Whether it was my garage door, or my built-in microwave, or a faulty heater... no complaints here. Very prompt service. Didn't wait long when trying to get ahold of them. Plus, they always give you follow up calls/emails until your problem has been resolved. Oh... and I like the repair companies/services they've referred to me so far.

I had multiple incidents with them that they found ridiculous excuses on why things should not be covered. It was really unbelievable. They found a little bit of rust on a washer and decided that the issue is because of rust and they are not responsible (it wasn't the reason at all), then the well pump - they decided that the well pump is not working because of pressure and they are not responsible on pressure issues. Find a company that is not trying to find an excuse not to help you. You don't need an insurance if you end up paying for everything yourself.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had! I paid up front for the total cost of the warranty, called to have my garage door repaired. They first said garage door openers are not covered, then said I did not have a policy, then said I had to wait 60 days for coverage to begin. Not to mention the people I spoke to, including a manager, did not speak good english and were tough to understand. When I asked for a refund of my warranty cost they said I could not since I filed my first claim... which they said they could not cover for 60 days... liars!

Came out next day and looked at washer. Had to order a part. Once part came in they fixed the washing machine. Wonderful job.

I submitted a claim to Choice Home Warranty on 10/20/2015. I was contacted the next day telling me they had assigned the claim to a local repair service. The appointment was made for the 22nd. I received a call the morning of the 22nd from the repair service saying the technicians truck had broken down and they would have to reschedule for the next day. I had some other appointments on that day, so we settled on the 28th. The tech came and repairs were finished the next day. The service and technician were excellent and the repair was done completely to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Choice Home Warranty to anyone. Good Job!

Well Pump started acting up and the breaker was switching off. Finally no water. Called the Absolute Well Pump office and they sent someone at 8pm to help me get my water back on. Just wish the max pay back from Choice Home was higher than $500 and covered the actual submerged pump.

Since I join service has been extremely good. I used it once and only pay amt I was told. Excellent service.

This has to be the biggest scam company ever. They tell you everything is covered and then they say it's not covered... Way too many exclusions. I guess I should have read the fine fine fine fine print... They are horrible in taking information, getting you a service person and then they tell you that part is excluded. Quick to take your money though. HORRIBLE COMPANY. BEWARE.

My A/C went out a few days ago. I called Choice and within hours I had a call from a local A/C company that was dispatching a technician to diagnose the problem. Tech came out and within 10 minutes figured out I needed a new fan motor for my a/c condenser. The next day, he was back, installed in 20 minutes and I'm back in business. Excellent service. I have had Choice for the last 5 years and I can't complain about the excellent service.

I was instantly assigned a contractor, contacted by them, and the repair visit set with rapid resolution.
