Roy from Drain Pro was very professional and knowledgeable about my furnace. He was able to diagnose the issue. He had to order replacement parts. He kept me informed on when they would arrive and when he would be back to install them.

The technician showed up in a timely manner and immediately got to work. He had proper PPE as well. I am happy with the level of service I received and would recommend the service in the future. It was a little concerning that they return phone numbers were identified as potential phone spam. That is not good since I screen my calls.

Your sales rep was very informative and courteous. I was going to wait another month to replace my current home warranty company but the current promo was a great value. I chose the 3 year policy with the 6 extra month free.

Choice Home Warranty came with our house that we purchased in late May of 2019. Was unfamiliar with the product before but what the previous home owner chose (unfortunately for me). After utilizing them for 10 months I can say I will never use them again. The network has no available contractors in it and the ones that do hate working with them. We live in Chattanooga, TN and there were no plumbers in their network for a city over 200K people. You had to find someone in the small town of Cleveland 40 minutes away who would come out.
We had an emergency plumbing situation in January 2020. Our water had to be shut off and we needed someone to fix the issue and get our water back on as we had a 6 month old at the time. There of course were none available in Choice Home network so they said they would authorize someone else to come out. We would need to pay for the claim up front and they would reimburse us. We paid out of our pocket for repairs that Choice Home authorized over their phone via a manager. We were told a check would be sent once we provided the invoice to them. We emailed the invoice in late January of 2020 the day after the repairs took place. Here we are in late April of 2020 and I have heard nothing. We have made multiple calls and still our claim has not been paid.
During this time Choice Home has managed to call me and email me multiple times a week to renew my policy. Adrian ** is the individual who has been emailing me and calling. While they don't have time to reimburse me for claims they authorized they do have time to try and sign me up for another year! Choice Home warranty comes with poor customer service and with very few local contractors willing to work with them.

Leak when I ran dishwasher. The repairman said it’s disposal. How the hell was I supposed to know since I only saw leak upon running the dishwasher. Still not repaired and may have to pay another copay. This is useless! Should have just called freaking plumber and myself. Would have cost less and not taken 4 days not repaired even NOW!!

The service was originally scheduled for a Monday but after speaking with the locksmith and expressing my security concerns, he adjusted his schedule and moved my request to Saturday. Called in advance to let me know when he would arrive. Flexible and friendly service!

The repairman came on time and he was very profession and very knowledgeable. He replaced the garbage disposal and cleaned up every bit of mess that he made. I would really like to have him back when and if I have any other plumbing issues.

CHW always tries to get out of paying for repairs or services. I have had every tech with every repair we have had to tell me the same thing. CHW gives a client such a run around hoping they will just give up trying to get their money. I can not trust the company and will not recommend it to any of my friends.

Submitted a claim. Our washer is leaking. Got response quickly. Set up repair appointment in a short time even though it was Sunday. Would recommend Choice warranty service to friends and family. Have used choice warranty about 7 years. We have the Total plan.

You sent me a person that I could not completely understand. I had to explain the problem to him a number of times. After trial and error he finally thought he found the problem. He did not have the part to repair my broken stove. I understand that you can't have all the parts to repair everything, but he was driving his personal SUV. All he does is order parts. I could have done that. All he had was a small tool bag and flashlight. He insisted I pay him the $45.00 before he would order the part. The part may be in by Tuesday. We will have to wait and see.

Water Heater repair. The repair technician delayed fixing it by a day. He lit the pilot light by using the gas lighter. He could not light and further refused to check if the pilot light can be lit by using the spark mechanism available to the heater. I doubt on his capabilities to follow proper procedures.

What is the reason why I make monthly payment if CHW does not cover? At least I expect some kind of estimation to fix it. It is disappointing to get Claim Determination saying that CHW is not responsible for anything.

Happy this time. Was not happy a year ago, due to I called for a plumber and no one was able to come to my home for the repairs so I called a plumber myself but didn't get reimburse for the repairs. Good Job this year.

The air was blowing but, not cold. He added some freon and that took care of the problem. He was on time and did a great job. He called to make sure everything was working well. He also called early to see if he could go ahead earlier than the appointment and that worked out well also.

The amount of time it took to obtain a plumber seemed to take an extended period of time (6 hours) from start to confirmation and then two days to have the repairs done. I also don't care for the Nickel and Dime approach on doing the work and then the bill. I have had several water heaters replaced over the years and have always been the SAME process yet the vendor and plumber always want to make it seem like more and explain that they are doing me a huge service.

I did this over the phone with Mary. She was thorough, competent, accurate, patient and pleasant throughout the process from start to finish. There were no problems encountered throughout the process and it was completed with a single phone call. It was a pleasure doing business with her.

I placed an order for my garbage disposal to be fixed. You always send me the appointment with their name and number. I called and spoke with the owner and told him I was off on Thursday and needed appt then. Told no problem. Next thing I know you send me a email saying I missed my appointment. Then you send me an email that you reset it for Wed. I did realize you set it with a different co. I called them and told them that we said we were doing it Thursday because I was off. They said no problem. Thursday came. The original worker came first then, I paid me $60 copay and he checked the disposal and proceeded to replace it. Then the other guy show up and we all 3 realized the issue.
So to I got a bill from the co that put in the disposal where they have subtracted my $60 and billing me the balance $136.00 for the disposal. I am furious!!! I tried to call you but you were closed. I wrote them a note. Wrapped their bill up and mailing it back to them. I will not be paying that. That is between them and you. I see the issue is they should have let you know the appointment was changed to Thursday since you were paying them. I would like to know how this issue was resolved with them.

Most anything dealing with home wiring and electricity scares me. We had problems faith live switches yet no current was reaching the intended device. HCW was terrific assigning my problem the SAME day, and technician arrived the following day as previously scheduled. He was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Within 30 minutes he diagnosed and corrected our problem. HCW is our second Home Warranty company.... And we are so glad we made the switch.

Valve in shower faucet break. Couldn't turn off water. They couldn't come out until Monday. Would have to shut off all water to house. I'm disabled/73yrs. Couldn't do. People that were g to coming were nice, but couldn't wait, had to call a company & pay. Not happy with that. Will you reimburse me???? THIS IS NOT GOOD OR HELPFUL.

I was referred by my live-in girlfriend who has a plan for her rental house. I went to your website. Got an estimate, received an email, called in to discuss. My first person on my call was unacceptable to me, finished with him then called a second time and got Ralph. He was very diligent, patient, professional in answering my questions, explaining my options. Selected 5-year+ plan which Ralph offered three plans, after consulting with his manage, the 5-year plan was chosen. I feel quite satisfied, anticipate utilizing my plan for several years.

Garage door opener. Took multiple days and contacts to find out the opener was going to be repaired when the tech said the unit was shot. After more contacts a new substandard unit was approved so I am paying extra to get a comparable unit installed.

Repair Leaking Gas Cooktop. The only problem was the wait of over a week to go without our primary cooking appliance. However, the repairman from EBL Appliance, Mr. **, did an excellent job. He also showed us the problem and explained his corrective actions. Additionally, he offered to come back quickly if there was any problem with his repairs.

Disposal would not come on. The tech came out in 1-day and immediately fixed it. He gave us instructions on making sure that the disposal did not get clogged up again. This was my first experience with Choice. I will recommend this company to friends.

When the Sales Person sold this plan to me, he indicated that I would receive full replacement cost for a similar featured Fridge. He did not disclose during the sales call that it was only YOUR COST of a similar replacement Fridge that I would receive. Also, since you had the serial number of my failed Fridge, you would have known via Google of its features being a high-end Kenmore Elite Side-by-Side. Instead, you low-balled the replacement cost by comparing it to the most basic single-door Fridge. I should have been presented with an equitable amount from the start. Instead, I had to reject the initial amount and defend my dissatisfaction to a claim specialist. Now the Good News. The response time for a Technician to arrive at my house to inspect my Fridge was very satisfactory, 2-Days.

Called Choice on the morning of the 23rd, within 2 hours they told me by email that claim had been approved and a technician would be out between on the 24th between 11am and 2pm. A technician called me on about noon on the 23rd and said he was in the area and could he come by. He got about 5 minutes after he called. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it within 1 hr and was gone. I am very please with Choice and the company they sent out. This was my first claim with Choice and they did all you can ask for. I filed my claim online.

This company is horrendous. You promised if I signed a 5 year deal with you and you didn't meet my expectations you would cancel and refund the remaining years. I am a Real Estate Broker for 33 years and have worked with many different Home Warranties. You are the worst. You have ridiculous hurtles to get things fixed and paid for. I want to cancel my last 2 years for 3 different properties. You are a very bad company and will never come back.

I had just washed a bundle of clothes and put them in the dryer only to find out it would not start. After checking plugs and circuit breakers I filed a claim online to Choice Warranty. They emailed and called me very quickly and set an appointment with a technician for Monday (this was Friday). That afternoon the technician call to confirm the appointment but says Ethan if I wanted he could actually come that same day. His service was impeccable. He was polite and completed the work quickly. In less than one day my problem was resolved without any grief or hassle on my part. Wonderful experience.

The technician was prompt and pleasant. It was decided to replace rather than repair. Problem is that CHW offered only 1/3 of the cost to replace. Upon complaint we got about 1/2 of the cost to replace, with no appeal process (take it or leave it!). We were told it was determined on wholesale cost. We should not have had to complain to get even that much! Exactly how can our appliance be replaced - we can't get another appliance at wholesale cost? My appliances are well kept and fairly new. We bought the policy for peace of mind - now we are worried if a larger item goes out. We are sorry but your advertising is very misleading.

Alex from Illinois Garage Door Co. came in and fixed our garage super fast once we had approval. He also gave us great advice for how to plan for the future. He was great! However, we had called customer support at Choice Warranty at one point throughout the visit and the woman was extremely rude. I wasn’t even sure why. She spoke down to me the entire time and it was not appreciated. I would say her name but she never introduced herself. If Alex with Illinois Garage Co. wasn’t so great, I would definitely feel a different way about this experience.

Water heater I told it was covered. It took 7 days to install. My tenant was upset not having water And requested hotel stay. It was urgent request but installed faulty one. Ceiling not psyched still. They didn’t reimburse for another plumber's fee. They gave diagnosis for ceiling fell down. I’m still waiting. They charged me 570 and 49 to install. They told me water heater covered only pay 45. I have been with you guys past 6 years. Any time I call nothing covered. 570 I have to pay. Not happy at all. Please call me. Drew was a good tech. Finally helped me but charged 570. Nothing get covered.

I was happy with the whole experience. It was great. But the one thing I didn’t like is that they said I had a leak in my coil and instead of fixing it they bandaged up the issue with just installing refrigerant. So I know it gonna go bad again so now I’m going to have to pay again when they come out again to fix the issue when it should of just been fixed the first time.

The job was done on time but not with complete responsibility leaving us in danger. The electric motor connection was outside the unit. The man was on time and did the job efficiently but not professional. We are concerned for the hazard it leaves to our children or anyone cutting the wires off.

****SCAM ALERT.... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL FIND A WAY NOT TO PAY. I had 3 companies to inspect my failed ac compressor and they provided different opinions on why the compressor failed yet they denied the claim for every single reason. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam at any cost.

Had a drain leakage under sink in bathroom. Repair person came at agreed upon time and stopped the leak. One issue was that he didn't have the needed parts on his truck and had to make at least one trip out to get what he needed. May have happened more than one time. Overall, we're very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the plumber.

Recommended work to be performed by Adkins Mechanical and Appliances was "need new faucet." We were called back by Adkins and were told that Choice did not replace faucets. So, we contacted Choice again to inquire as to whether or not they covered leaks as their contract with us stated, and the Choice representative told us that they called Adkins who said that we had requested a high end faucet. What?!?! We never requested a high end faucet replacement; it was the complete reverse. When they asked us what we wanted, we actually said it did not matter as long as it was white. Rae, from Adkins Mechanical, then offered that if we bought a new faucet that he would install it for $75.00. Waiting now for Choice's call back. Still leaking, Rudolf **

Dishwasher wasnt working. Customer Service Rep - poor. Case manager - good. Need to do a better job screening technicians and attending to your loyal customers. You need to include installation in your cost factor. Not have to wait 30 days for replacements payment. You want customers to recommend Choice.

My microwave could not be repaired and I was offered a check for replacement. The check value was way less than I could purchase a new one, let alone pay for installation. After one call, that value was increased and I did accept that new amount. The repair company came within 24 hours and the tech was safe and we each wore masks. This claim was easy to submit, acted upon quickly, and resolved to my satisfaction. My claim rep was friendly and very efficient. I would welcome working with her again.

I had a problem with a garage door not closing properly. When I called Choice they contacted a repair company and I had an appointment within an hour. The company came the next day on time and solved the problem. The service from Choice and the contractor was exceptional.

I am very disappointed with CHW. When I called to inquire about getting a home warranty, the person I spoke with really built it up, making it sound like everything would be covered, and if it couldn't be repaired we would receive a new appliance. Not stating that we would only be reimbursed for a partial amount and that installation of the new item would not be covered. I realize that it is my responsibility to read the fine print, but I think a little more transparency on your end would really be the way to go.

Choice Home Warranty contacted me via the Better Business Bureau and refunded the balance of $1019.50 (they had paid $545 in earlier repairs that was insufficient), which was $50 more than I had requested. This is because they did not charge the cancellation fee of $50. So case closed and the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction.

I made a contract with Choice Home Warranty (CHW) on 03/01/2018. The contract was from 03/01/2018 to 09/01/2021. On 03/02/2020, I discovered that Choice Home Warranty (CHW) was not licensed to sell in Oklahoma. If I had known that, I would not have signed up and paid $1,564.50. I have been paid $545 in claims, which did not cover the full requested claims at the time. With that said, I requested a refund due to the fact that CHW was not licensed in Oklahoma. The representative gave me the impression that I would receive a refund minus the said claims and a $50 cancellation fee. She said nothing about it being prorated. Now I have been notified that there will be no refund, even though I was going on the information from our local news media **.
Even though CHW is not licensed in Oklahoma, the resolution agent said claims can still be submitted because of being a previous customer. I asked the resolution agent to restate my contract, if I cannot receive the said refund. However, the agent said it cannot be restated once canceled and I would have to purchase a new contract. The Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) states CHW is still in violation of operating in Oklahoma including the complaints to the Better Business Burea**. I requested a refund or to be restated (if they can truly and legally fulfill any OK claim). I have made several phone calls and sent several emails since 03/02/2020 without resolve. I have requested them to listen to the recorded phone conversation on 03/02/2020 with no resolve.

Great value. Reviewing the terms of the agreement was easy when working with the customer rep. We elected to sign up for 3 years with a guarantee that at the end of 3 years the annual cost would not increase.

Choice was quick to someone out to my house and my water heater was fixed with in a few days, we didn't have to wait long. The online claim was easy and simple and fast response. The only bad part was the technician flooded the room the water heater was in and got some of our storage stuff for Christmas and other holidays wet.

Air Conditioning Capacitor Replacement needed. When having my air conditioner yearly service, it was noted that the capacitor was burnt on one side and a wire was also. I had a very good experience with both Kevin and Mark. They understood my concerns and worked to get me the best rate with the lowest service rate possible. I hope Choice can fulfill all my requirements. However, I asked for a similar policy as my friend and the NO CAP Limitations policy was excluded. I want this rectified.

Understandably, no one was available on my original phone call. I made a new claim online for a refrigerator issue. I got a call approximately two hours later with a potential service call EIGHT DAYS LATER. This is not acceptable and I had no recourse but to call our regular appliance service people who were here within two hours. They are getting the necessary part and will have the issue fixed TODAY. I will pay the cost and send you the bill for reimbursement.

Kevin was very polite and accomodating. Wouldn't take no for an answer. Waiting for a hard copy of the contract to be mailed. Service fee was reduced from $85 to $65. Home Warranty covered the items I would expect the contract to cover.

My experience with purchasing the warranty was just fine. Very good even but it hasn't even been 24 hours and the calls to buy other services has begun. It seems that my number has been given to lists of other product providers and they are calling me. Unacceptable!! I did not agree to have my info sold or given to any other companies.

I understand length of jobs vary; but H.O. still don't like having to wait; esp. when the time frame is the whole day (8-5). Since covid-19 restrictions were still in place at the time; it's no big deal. However, under other circumstances I would have had to take a day from work. Can the time frame somehow get shortened to 8-noon; noon-5?

I'm new to CHW (choice Home Warranty) and have had only a few needs for their services. However this is changing rapidly. This time I had and electrical issue & it was during the time that our country was dealing with the C-virus. This meant that personal assistance was limited. However my request needed to be handled by a person.
When I called in I acted as if I was a new customer assuring me that I would get a person & I got more than I expected. I got two of the most professional, knowledgeable & patience staff employees. Of course the first one had to transfer me to correct department & without hesitation (after I apologized for calling in understand false pretensions) and then I was connected to another staff member that handled my 3 request with the same service that I'd experienced with the first staff member and only minutes after my request was made and I was given my claim number my phone rang giving me the name and number of the company that I could expect the very next day for my repairs. We had a total failure of our LG French Door refrigerator. No cooling at all. Called Choice Home warranty and they scheduled a service call. Service tech came and diagnosed problem as a burned out compressor. He had one in his truck and fixed it on the spot. Can’t ask for better service. Get a Home Choice Warranty and relax. They show up and fix it! Great service. I will renew my plan again.

My oven electrical burner needed to be replaced. The company that replaced it was Zeke Appliances...the service men did a very good job in replacing the burner. I called on Monday and the appointment was completed on Wednesday within 15 minutes after they arrived and completed the service.

Plumbing Stoppage. The technician was prompt, courteous and took care of my problems right away after he received approval. My water heater went down on Saturday. I was able to open a claim within minutes via online. Within a few hours a technician was already at my house. In two days I had a new water heater install. One thing that I would love is that there was also more coverage for modifications. Which just includes installing a new water line.

Oven went out. Mice chewed on one of the wires and caused my oven to go out. I did not know I had mice. I don't know how that was my fault. It was a simple fix. I am very unhappy about the decision that was made.

The same system that was plugged up last week was plugged up again this week. Hopefully it won't happen again. Based on what the plumbers found, the previous owners had been pouring grease down the sink for some time. We just moved in, late December 2019.

We have an intermittent leak when the toilet is used. The day we called the toilet problem in was a Saturday, and water was leaking out the wall. We cleaned up the area and was informed by CHW that the technician was scheduled to come Monday morning. We stopped using the toilet that weekend. Monday the water stain was evident but the area was dry. When flushed the toilet did not leak. The technician told me they had to call in the order to get permission to remove the toilet and see what the problem was. He told me that half the time they are allowed to remove it, and half the time they are not given permission, it all depends on who they get hold of on the phone. Twenty minutes later The technician came back in and said he was not given permission to pick up the toilet. He did tell me that the ticket would be left open and that when the toilet leaks again to call him directly.

Because I was already with a competitor and just went through a nonrepair and no replacement on a very expensive washing machine and a $125.00 visit and a $340.00 maximum payout, which really means I netted a whopping $215.00. I had an incident with the previous company that I used. They thought it was alright to add additional charges from my account to my credit card on file. I asked them twice to stop. They didn't listen so I decided to go shopping. I had seen ads for Choice in the past and was interested. I took a chance and made the call. My customer rep (Jared) was wonderful. He was informative and answered all my questions thoroughly. The price and the added incentives were unexpected, but very appreciated. They even took into consideration my age. The most important thing that happened was Jared listened to me. He didn't try to overwhelm me with information, but was super considerate and took his time to ensure I was completely informed. The repairman arrived on time, When I called the order in, I stated that if the dryer had to come off the top of the washer, he would need help. I would not be able to help him. He did not get that message. He did find that he did not have to remove the dryer. When he looked in the washer window, he asked why the water look like it did. I told him that it had been sitting in there almost a week. I had a pile of towels near to catch the water. He did not use them at first, but when the water started going all over, I grabbed them and threw them on the floor. When he got the unit that was stopped up, he asked why we never cleaned it. I did not know it had a filter, he told me it should have been cleaned every month. Didn't know that. He was not as friendly as the last person. But he did a good job with what he had to do. Stove top element was going to a higher degree on its own. When tech got here he checked it out and it registered correct. He had the attitude that we did not know what we were talking about. The stove top is going to a higher degree now again. I am not sure what to do about this problem. It does not do it all the time.

I received a call almost immediately regarding my request. Shortly after, Samuel messaged me with a date and time. The next day, he had an earlier opening so I was able to have him come sooner which was very convenient. Filled out request on 4/18/20 at 11 am. No response until 4/21/20 at 6 pm. This was an emergency that required the water to be shut off to the entire house. We could not wait 48+ hours to have this problem fixed. By the time I heard back from the company offering reimbursement, we already had called a plumber and had the problem resolved. We cant take advantage of reimbursement since we did not get the work approved by the company. Very disappointed in the service. This was my first claim with this company.

Had a pool filter that started dumping sand in the pool. Filed a claim. Eternity pools came out and said the laterals were broken on my 28 year old filter, it was discontinued and They would report and get authorization to replace it. (By the way they never opened the filter to look inside.) A week later my claim was denied. I called in and discussed Khadejha. She told me If I wanted to appeal the claim I would have to pay a another service company to come out and diagnose it. So I paid Soft Water Swim (an excellent company to work with I may add).
They came out opened the filter and found the 6 broken laterals. They contacted the warranty company, after he got off the phone, he told me I should be receiving an email that authorize my claim. A week later it was denied again. I called and asked why, they again stated lack of maintenance, but when both techs came out they mentioned nothing about lack of maintenance. Very unhappy. Still fighting to get them to honor their side of our contract. I would no recommend them, due to the fact that they don't honor their side of the contract.

My washer stopped spinning. Called CHW and it wasn't long before I got a text saying someone would be the day. Marlayna showed up as scheduled. She was very thorough with the inspection. I needed a gearcase, drain motor. Got a message that the repairs would be more than the cost of a new washer. So CHW is sending a check and I'll be able to get a new washer. I want to make sure no one else believes this company does what they advertise. They do not cover any big appliance repair. Read the fine print. They don't cover water heater tanks, compressors in ac or refrigerators. My experience was they refused to cover my ac failure because the motor and compressor failed, they decided the compressor failed first and refused to pay, what is an AC without a compressor. I had this insurance and they covered very little. Please Google them for issues at the BBB and in New Jersey where they are based.

Kitchen faucet was leaking and 4 r's plumbing came out on 4-17-2020 and suggested that a replacement faucet was more advantage than trying to repair it, but they needed approval from Choice to do so, they received approval and went to Home Depot, purchased a new faucet and replaced the old one that day.

My oven is not working. Repair person ordered a part. My issue is it seems like there is no urgency in getting it repaired. I asked for a technician to come out to repair an under sink instant hot water tank. He came out and expected to see a normal water tank. He phoned HQ to see if he could replace the leaking tank I had under the sink, HQ refused. It is a hot water tank, even though smaller than normal, but you refused to cover it. Very disappointed. This is not a reflection on the technician who did what he could to help.

Hot water heater repair. Very disappointing. Repairman ordered part on Friday and thought we could be done that afternoon. He calls back and says part is 75 miles away and would be sent down on Tuesday. Choice would not allow him to go to another vendor. We had a 75 gallon tank leaking all over our floor. I offered to pay $150 extra to have the tank picked up Monday morning and installed. Which we did.
I was charged a $60 service call, which was supposed to be my free service charge. I was charged $110.00 for a new gas line, which was not installed. They simply attached my existing line. I have tried to contact my claim representative many times since the installation. All my calls and e mails have not been addressed. There is nobody to speak to.

My experience was good, very quick response with my bathroom toilet. My outside faucet leaks when turned on, I included this in my claim, this was denied. I was disappointed with the outcome of my faucet. If possible can Choice Home reevaluate my outside faucet? I was told that everything attached to your home would be covered, this is why I left American Home Shields. I noticed every time the shower in bathroom was used it would leak from behind the faucet. I made an online service order and in one day a local plumbing company called me to confirm a service call visit. Their plumber by the name of Joe was quick and to the point. Air conditioner froze up. Tech work was good. Found another problem. Circulating needs to be replaced. He tried to order one fan. Was not covered. I was very upset. Appealed it. Was denied. I have 5 more years of this no warranty with you. Too bad for me.

I was told I would get a new dishwasher. Mine was too expensive to fix. But was offered less than half of what a new dishwasher cost and installation wasn’t paid for either. I would never choose Choice Warranty again. They always take a cheap way out of it.

Furnace began making a rattling noise, then stopped altogether. I filed a claim at night and the response from Choice was immediate. They had a technician for the following morning. Gerome (the tech) was great with communication and repaired the unit in an hour. A+ We were SO glad that we had used Choice.

GE Monogram oven. The inner glass broke on the oven door. I sent an email to Choice, they contacted a service provider who came out a few days later, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part which will come to our home. Once we receive the part, I am to call the service provider and he will return to install it.

DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY WITH THEM!!! Like scammers fraudulent company, they don’t cover anything! Every time I file a claim they send a company I pay service fee and then the WHOLE charge on the work, it’s basically you pay more than double! They deny any claim, even a very common one they denying. I had numerous home warranty companies in the past, some are bad some were good but CHOICE by far the most worst one ever. You are going to lose so much money with them. If I can help anyone from making this mistake I feel blessed.

Pool pump motor repair. The original contractor assigned to the order was one who has proven unresponsive before and yet was assigned again. He never called or showed up. I asked for a new contractor and after reviewing the reviews for that one I immediately asked to have the order reassigned. It was to San Tan Homes Services. They responded immediately and the technician was courteous and professional and scheduled. Why assign people who are irresponsible? Choice did make the changes but using the same contractors simply because they respond first is no in the best interest of the homeowner.

Plumbing. Water leaks in kitchen and bath. Excellent reporting from the onsite technician including photos and recommendations. The dispatched technician arrived on time and the date scheduled. A little disappointed that Choice pay only $205 while I had to pay over $400. I apparently do not have a good understanding of the coverage.

A water leak can not wait 3 days to be fixed. The service charge was fine but the cost of the expansion tank was high. The most that an expansion tank should cost is $50. I was charged $175 for it. I think that price of parts should be regulated by CHW with the vendors they choose.

The person who came to fix my AC was very polite, helpful, and professional. He explained what was going on for me--wasn’t pushing to come into the house to see the thermostat due to COVID-19. He allowed me to take pictures of it and bring it out to him. Everything was fixed relatively quickly.

Service from Choice was terrible. Had a tech out for my washer and he called in got assigned my dryer, since he was already here, and could not get Choice to send the necessary information over to his company after he called, his company called and I called to have it done.

Signed up online and paid. Immediate phone call tried to badger me into a multi year plan. When I declined after multiple requests I was basically rudely hung up on. Did not inspire confidence and am sick of being surveyed to death.

Leaking water heater. Filed my claim Friday evening on Easter weekend. Choice worked very hard but understandable the Holiday. They got a contractor Monday morning and they came and looked at it at 9:00am. It got replaced no questions asked. The Contractor was very professional. I discovered that my well had stopped pumping. I submitted a claim to CHW and in this case I provided the name of the well company that installed and has been servicing my well. In this case CHW reached out to Register Well Company and I had a repair tech on site in less than a day. Since these people are very familiar with my well, they were able to diagnose the issue and quickly made a repair. I was particularly happy with the responsiveness for this repair.

The cost of the home warranty was acceptable. The sales person whom state that he was the manager was a little bit pushy with selling the warranty. Voice was not very customer friendly. Love the package and what it covers. That 13th month deal is not a seller when I have to wait 30 days for the policy to go into effect, that's the 13th month that you are taking back!!!! Should have military or sr citizen discounts offered all the time. Not just the bonus discount during this covid 19 epidemic.

Pru arrived on time and was very nice and efficient. The disposal was not broken, just jammed. He fixed it with a wrench, which he left with us. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I submitted a service request about 10:30am and received a call from the repair vendor in less than 30 minutes (RBA Appliance). The repair service informed me that they could be at my house within the hour. I have never had service this quickly from any company or vendor. The repairman came to my home with protective mask, gloves, and foot mittens. He repaired the dryer and washer in less than an hour. He was professional and friendly. He advised us to stay safe during this pandemic situation that the world is experiencing.

Our garage disposal stopped working. A service man came on Monday to figure out what was wrong. First they thought it could be repaired but then realized the entire system was broken and I needed a new disposal. It was approved that night and they they were here the next day to replace it.

This is the second time I have had to call upon Choice. Each time the repair person comes to the home, I pay the fee and the repair person leaves telling us that he needs to order a part. Each time we receive an email from Choice shortly thereafter stating
2. Refrigerator - advised we did not maintain the coils. When I appealed this, we have not yet had a resolution. The case manager called one time and I was on a work call. The case manager advised she would call back but that hasn’t happened yet. I also called and left a voicemail.
This is really not indicative of good customer service and I am disappointed.

The representative gave the full description of all the features to the 'premiere' plan in full detail explaining one by one and how they work. He also explained the extra benefits I would get if enrolled for 5 year which would cover the plan for a total of 6 years a very loose cost.

Contacted Choice Home Warranty on Saturday April 11 about 2 toilets that was leaking water in the tank. Searched for parts and gaskets but could not find any to make repairs. Contacted Choice, received a response later the same day saying that Amigo Rooter & Plumbing was contacted and would be at my home on Monday, April 13 between 7 AM to 11 AM. The contractor came and diagnosed the problems and fixed the problem causing the leak in the toilet tank. The repairs didn't take too long to repair and I checked the function of the toilets with the contractor to make sure it was corrected. The contractor was very friendly and proceeded to work on the issue as soon as I showed him the problem. Completed and I received my receipt online and work was completed professionally.

The worst customer service ever. I've been with Choice Home Warranty since 2017. Until this year I have not had a claim that required them to replace anything. This year I have needed two items to be replaced. My dishwasher and my refrigerator both of which I have had to fight as if pulling teeth because they don't want to replace, only want to pay, but they don't allow enough money for you to purchase your replacement item. I requested a supervisor. No one ever called me back.
I've been dealing with the same issue with my refrigerator since December. I have requested a new case manager because Renee who is rude and a liar with horrible customer service apparently told them or put in the notes that I accepted the offer, $400 is not going to buy me a refrigerator because you choose not to fix it. I asked for a supervisor to contact me and that's been almost a month ago and guess what I have not heard from a supervisor or anyone for that matter as of yet and I have called 3 times within the last 30 days. I also paid for three years in advance. What a mistake that was! At this point I would advise no one, not even my worst enemy to do business with choice home warranty! At this point I don't know how much longer I'm going to be doing business with them either. I’ll take a refund on that last year!

Made a costly mistake switching from AHS to this company. There are very few things covered within their policy which I'll say isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Recently filed a claim for a leaky sink and was denied. I'm at a loss for words on why a kitchen basket strainer is excluded given how integral it is to the functionality of a sink.
They also trap unsuspecting consumers from cancelling policies with onerous contract language buried within their policy. In plain English, they will charge you an administrative fee and any service claim they've paid while your contract was in effect.,.mind you a contract with paid premiums and service calls. In short, deal with this company at your own risk. I've only been with them for 3 months and now wish to switch back to AHS (even if they cost me more in premiums).

My claim turned out to be part of the Air Conditioner that you have written into the excluded part. Funny no one tells you or mentions all these parts that you will not pay for if the “Air Condition System” brakes when you are buying insurance. But the best!!! Once they find out they don’t have to help. Yep you got it. They stop helping totally!!! Just an email to say claimed denied. If you try to talk to someone. You get a case manager. Every step takes an extra day. That way you get an employee who tells you all the excluded items and lets you know they have done all they can. So tell your friends. Please read and understand exclusions. That’s how they can not repair anything and help their customers. Now I know why they offer an extra year if you pay five year advance!! I’m sure most people would cancel after finding out the truth about the insurance policy.

I was told you would call me to schedule the repair. I didn’t receive a call & I just found an email you sent denying my claim. You should have called me with that information. The plumbing was inspected by a home inspector prior to the purchase & all was found to be in good order. I bought a warranty to cover the "unexpected" therefore I’m am very disappointed in your company.
On top of that, I was given a free service call, but you didn’t apply it to this call. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with a poorly trained representative of your company, I paid the service fee to the plumber as he was getting impatient. After I paid him, a supervisor came on the call & told me they couldn’t apply the credit to this call. She said they will put a credit “for future use” on my account. There is no reason they couldn’t have voided the transaction since it had occurred seconds before the supervisor spoke to me. I believe you are being deceitful and I will never see the “free” service call.
A onetime free service call fee has been placed onto your policy, in anticipation that your next experience with Choice Home Warranty meets your expectations.

Choice responded to my request quickly as did the service person which was from McMahan Plumbing. They actually came out on a Sunday and fixed the problem. Very pleased with their fast service and also with McMahan Plumbing. I would recommend both companies.

The disposal, Badger 5, was installed with the kitchen remodel. The unit stopped working and we continued to use the sink.. We call the Customer service when the unit started leaking. The claim was handle promptly and the plumber was on site to replace within three days.

AC not cooling. The serviceman was very nice and very accommodating but said that choice warranty would not pay for the repairs and I'm VERY disappointed in choice because they supposed to pay for anything that's wrong with a major appliance. I ended up paying for repairs.

CHW assigned tech to come 4/1, then changed to 4/2, immediate response glad to report. Tech left stating that he needed to get a part. Then I get email from CHW that cost to repair "cooktop - electric" exceeds replacement cost, asking that I accept $229.99 replacement cash amount. First, It is NOT a cooktop; It is the oven of my convection stove cooktop. I would need to replace the entire stove. $230 does not cover cost of new stove. I bought it 2004 and have no idea of cost now.

Put in claim on a Thursday night when HVAC went out. Got call next day from Choice Home Warranty that appointment was with an HVAC Vendor from 3 pm - 8 pm Friday. Called Vendor to confirm. Vendor said Choice chooses their own time frames that do not coincide with what vendor has available. Vendor could not perform service in that time slot, so I asked Choice if I could use vendor I knew to be with Choice. Choice allowed because Vendor was still in contract with Choice. Tech out same day. Diagnosis - blower out in cooling unit.
Vendor placed order with Choice on Friday, according to them and Monday according to Choice. Choice insisted on purchasing the part at wholesale, delaying payment and delivery time frame to Tuesday. (92 degrees in the house in Florida during COVID19, so working/living/sleeping at 92 degrees). Service Reps standard "I'm sorry. I understand" doesn't go far in 92 degrees. Delay is now into its 5th day. 7 calls to Customer Claim Service and still no service, no part, no update. I WILL NOT be renewing my policy. BUYER BE AWARE that "service" is not Choice Warranty's forte.

March 26, 1st technician didn't fix problem, we paid him and he left. When problem recurred that same day we sent info in and Choice set up another appt with AER? And the guy didn't show because he said Choice's instructions were for a cooktop, not a stove. Called and no immediate solution. They set up a third appt and told us by email we would have to pay charge again. After 5 phone calls and 3 missed appts, we finally got a tech here on Apr 6th who ordered a electronic board. WWe rec'd the part on April 10 but he is not returning until April 20th, so 30 days with no oven.

You won't be able to get ahold of anybody after you give them your credit card. In fact don't even provide your credit card. It's a contract and they will charge you 50 dollars to break it. Even 5 minutes after you set up your order.

Senior program is a good deal but not the best coverage. The service fee is $60 in the policy but agent put $65 on the contract but he corrected later. And he changed the starting date because I have a home warranty with other company now.

Called to have my baseboard heat fixed. An hvac technician came and assessed my situation. I paid him the 75 dollar upfront fee. He came back promptly the next day. When he pulled in Choice Home Warranty called and said that he wasn't qualified to fix my baseboard and they were sending someone else! I already payed the technician! I had no heat and your company wanted to send the well qualified technician away just for me to wait even longer with no heat for someone else to show up.
When I called customer service the rep was uninformed and very unprofessional. He could have made the situation much easier for a paying customer but he choose not to. I have heard horror stories about choice home warranty but wanted to give you the benefits of the doubt. That was a mistake. You will lose a customer when my contract runs out and I will tell everyone I know about my experiences with choice home warranty.
