    You gave me a date for 3 days after complaint, the ransom appliances arrives to my home as scheduled and the guy company ask me for 60 dol and ask me, "What's the problem and why." Told them what's going on so he told me, "We have to order the part. It gonna be around 5 or 6 days" and I asked to guy, "Why do you don't have a part like this in your car?" Because I wrote in my complaint what was the part broken so he told me, "We have to order the part." Presume I'm gonna be around 12 days without oven by a igniter. It's weird.

    In regards to Choice Warranty answering the call, and taking information, I give you 5 stars. I received appt time within 24 hours, it's 6 days from now... I give that a 3. I had to change that appointment due to work, so that's not on Choice. I can't respond to service, for I will be waiting for service, until Aug 14. My friend, who talked me into Signing with Choice Warranty, lives in Texas, and has had rock solid service. I'm in Florida, so obviously it's not the same. We will see when Service is actually done.

    My mom purchased their service for the home. I eventually inherited after she passed away and had convinced me to separately purchase a plan for my own home once my extended warranties expired. I have called them 4 times for my property - three of my experiences were disasters in that the repair was excluded or they claimed too expensive to repair and then offered a nominal replacement value.

    I called recently for my mom's washer and they offered a reimbursement option as they had difficulty finding a contractor. The documentation system the contractor I located was required to complete was clunky and they used his hourly rate and not the total hours and parts cost to send me a check for $79 in relation to my out of pocket costs of $410. I was only obligated to pay $45 service fee for a covered repair.

    Each time I tried to correct the documentation they relied on and upload the receipts, they quickly sent an email indicating that they couldn't open file. Left 3 requests for call back and no one ever called and when I got someone on the phone after waiting @40 mins, the agent said well there is nothing to do since I check was already sent. The company is dishonest and a bunch of scammers!

    Updated on 10/04/2020: Refrigerator had cooling problem in June. Service call scheduled 5 times replacing 5 different components and still did not fix the problem. Finally in Oct CHW decided to replace my refrigerator for less than half of the cost of a replacement unit. I am not sure why I bother to have them insure my appliances. Scheduling the trouble ticket was the easiest part after that it was no good at all. I have several experience with CHW and they are not a good company to work with. Always looking for a way to get out of doing the right thing and very ridged and inflexible with maintenance and replacement, especially replacements. It took them over 4 months to make a determination to replace my fridge.

    Original Review: Creating ticket and getting a callback was fine. Scheduling maintenance is a whole different ball game. Fridge repair was incomplete and ineffective then follow-up repair is going to take additional two weeks. Middle of the summer with a broken Fridge. Foods has gone bad and all I get is, "We are doing our best." If this is your best I don't know how you can stay in business much longer when your customers realizes what they have bought is "a major lemon".

    The technician was professional and was able to determine that a replacement part and installation would cost more than the dishwasher. I had some difficulty with the case manager trying to undercut the cost of a replacement. I did not have a fancy dishwasher, had one that was functional and matched the other appliances. She finally relented and agreed to pay the price of one I had researched online that was comparable to mine. Unfortunately, it was unavailable (apparently there is a problem getting units because of Covid) and had to pay more than I anticipated. It's on order now and hope to have it installed in the next 10-14 days. I am seriously considering cancelling my contract with you and going with another home warranty company.     WARNING!!!! If you make a purchase over the phone and the sales reps give you a "deal or discount" don't count on it being in your agreement. If you live in Arizona the Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against them for fraudulent advertisement, and not honoring their agreement. If you have an issue they'd do anything they can to get out of it, it's worse than a insurance company.

    After I signed up they pulled an extra monthly payment out of my bank hoping I wouldn't notice. Then they tried to tell me I needed to pay 13 months of payments for my 12 month policy year (of which the first 30 days they won't do a claim), they really tried to get 13 payments for 11 months of coverage. The fine print in the agreement isn't what matches their marketing and the sales reps. Most of the positive reviews are for repairs that are under $100 or the customer is paid (given a free month or two) to leave those positive reviews. Shop around the BBB and other sites before purchasing!

    The tech we were assigned - Three J Services - has been great and very proactive. However, the case manager we have been assigned lacks any meaningful response and we are 4 weeks into not getting our AC fixed while living in Phoenix. It's become a health hazard and we have no solution in site. The case manager has never replied to any of the numerous emails I have sent. And, only on voice mail as been returned and that was 8 days later. No one else in the entire claims department is able to help move our repair along. It's appalling how bad the service has been.

    C-FORCE LLC plumbing was initially contracted by CHW to work on the property to repair a plumbing issue and was out at the site on May 6th, 2020. Robert from C-FORCE LLC was rude and caused the tenants problems and showed up with an attitude from the moment he arrived. The work he performed was not done professionally and caused another claim to be submitted, causing the owner to pay an additional service charge. For example, the repairs called for the installation of the flange at the base of the toilet. The flange was never leveled, causing the toilet to rock back and forth. This rocking caused additional water leaks and required another service call. Again, the owner paid another service fee for work that was initially completed and later found to be defective.

    After another claim was filed with CHW for the same issue, C-FORCE LLC was again selected to facilitate these repairs - and this time, the plumber pulled a no show - not once but twice. He never informed anyone he was not coming. When the property manager called Robert to find out where he was and why he was not at the property, the plumber stated he was no longer interested in servicing this claim, causing several days in delays in serving this claim. Again, CHW was contracted via the claims process requesting another plumber.

    For the record, C-FORCE LLC is no longer welcome at our property. We ask future claims to be reviewed and issued to licensed professionals, with the demeanor of addressing the customer's repair needs promptly and in line with CHW values. We commend CHW for the opportunity to leave this feedback as there is no other process to ensure the quality of work is maintained.

    I had water coming up in my hardwood floor. I thought it might be a leaking pipe. The plumber fixed and brought a restoration company to assist with clean up. The plumber and team are awesome!! However, when it came to how much I would have to pay out of pocket, I was livid! I was told my max per year was $500. I had another plumbing issue last November 2019.     The technician who responded to my call was excellent. He was from C&D HVAC. He determined that the refrigerant in my system had been contaminated by a previous technician that was used by your company. This should have been covered but was denied.     I am a new customer. I called to get a quote for new service. I spoke to Choice agent Sam. I expressed to Sam that I currently have a home warranty but I was shopping around for a new one. After a brief conversation with Sam explaining, product, price and service fees I decided I would go with Choice. I explained to Sam that I would pay the premium in full. After giving Sam my contact information and CC #, Sam proceeded to tell me about an offer in which he felt would be a good deal for me. I allowed Sam to finish his pitch and I gracefully told him that I was not be interested. He asked why and I again gracefully said that I was not interested. It didn't matter why I wasn't interested. The fact that I said no should have been enough.

    Sam continued to press the issue and started to make me feel uncomfortable and second guessing my decision to become a Choice customer, seeing that I was just signing up and I was already receiving horrible customer service. I made a joke and asked him was he going to pay for the extra 2 years he was offering me. Sam still wouldn't let it go so at that point. I said no several more times and when Sam refused to move forward with completing the transaction, I told Sam that I was done talking to him and I asked to speak to a supervisor because I no longer wanted to deal with Sam nor did I want to be a customer of Choice. Since I had given Sam my CC, I wanted to make sure he didn't run my card.

    Once I asked for the supervisor, Sam realized he had really messed up and he wanted to try to fix it but at that point I was done. He acted like he didn't hear me when I asked or a supervisor. He tried to assure me that Choice has good customer service and he would listen to the call and use it as a teaching tool for Sam.

    I still wasn't happy with the situation, but I decided that I would give Choice a chance. I hope I don't regret going against my better judgement but I still have 27 days to cancel. My first experience with Choice was not good and I probably would not recommend you all but I hope I my experience with you will get better going forward. That call has prompt this bad review. I hope you'll will right your wrong and we can move forward.

    We purchased a warranty policy from Choice. We filed a claim for our AC unit and a tech came out and assessed the unit the same day. However, CHW would not approve the claim without us sending more info. so the tech could not start work. We sent the requested info the same day and still have not heard back about whether our claim has been approved or not. It has since been 5 days since filing our claim, it is August, we are in a heat wave, and I have a 3 week old baby recently home from the NICU and no functioning AC and no response from Choice’s customer service.

    Each time I call their customer service line, I am told I will receive an answer on my claim by close of business. I have yet to receive any reply. When I asked to speak with a manager the customer rep told me that was not possible. I cannot live in my house because it’s not suitable for a newborn infant without AC in the middle of summer. Hoping someone from Choice can get back to me soon for the safety of my family and especially baby.

    I had a block in a PVC pipe. CHW said it wasn't covered so I hired Polar Cooling in Yuma to fix it. It was done before 10 am. Polar Cooling refuses to work for CHW because they said they never get paid. I spent 2 hours on the phone and computer yesterday with CHW. A total waste of my time. I would like to know how much my refund would be to cancel my contract but no one has called me back. When my phone rang there was only music, which I listened to for 12 mins.     In simple words, this company is a scam. Their marketing people will make it look perfect for you but when it comes to claims, they have all the tactics to deny your claim. Their appeal process is a joke, never able to reach the case manager by phone or email, most of their business is outsourced to the Philippines, hard to understand... if they answer. The only number that answers fast is the marketing!!! This is a scam company and the Arizona Attorney General is suing them.     I’ve had an experience with this technician before joining Choice. I can remember thinking that I would not want his services again, then through Choice, he serviced my ac a second time. Let me say that the job was done, services rendered to satisfaction. My issue was more on the lack of professionalism. I was expecting a uniformed service technician who would present proper ID. This gentlemen did not. I was reluctant due to his unprofessional appearance but it was unbearably hot and I needed my ac fixed ASAP.
