Service was good. First rep which called this morning did not want to negotiate. Received a second call, and your rep Kyle, was willing to negotiate and get the lowest price possible. He was extremely courteous and took time to help a senior citizen.

DO NOT waste your money on this warranty company. Horrible customer and warranty service ever... Saturday hot water heater broke, claim submitted. Monday tech arrived to look and say, yep, needs replaced (pd $60 for him to look, not touch anything). Choice Warranty called and said they would replace. Received email Wednesday. Said approved with $455 fee to us. Called, emailed and left comment on website numerous times since Wed with no response. Six days later, still no response except they want $455 to replace without any reason for additional cost.
In a recent review of your claim, our records show that you have been in contact with your Case Manager and the claim is processing forward.

Wall ac not covered by the policy. Your representative was very nice and took the time to check on everything possible. The unit is about 2 years old and was leaking water inside. We checked the plug, but it still didn't drain correctly. Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

I'm always have a good experience with the company service. They resolve my issues with promptly results. They usually respond very quickly. I think what I paid it works for what the company covers. I will highly recommend it. The claim usually turns around in 1 weeks. If they have to replace the items it can be least.

The Service Technician showed up as scheduled. I was called before he arrived. He was thorough and professional. He was also COVID prepared, wearing a mask and he was wearing gloves. The appointment is scheduled to complete the repair on October 9. 2020.

After looking for a home warranty service agreement, I evaluated by talking to numerous service companies and I found Choice Home Warranty to be most sincere. All the associates who I have talked to at home warranty responded and explained the questions and concerns I had. Shoud out to... Charlie **, Michael ** and other front line staff to whom I have talked to and through email. They made it very easy for me to signed up with an extended service agreement.

The service man was extremely efficient. He wore masks, gloves and shoe covers. The heat has not been repaired, the serviceman man had to order a part, I have not had conversation with him since his initial visit. The office manager overcharged my credit Card in error, she refunded the difference the following morning.

Order was referred to plumber and they arrived in two days and we were notified the next day who would be correcting our problem. Using the online app to open a ticket is extremely easy and always for 24/7 access to system.

Vendor replaced defective programable AC thermostat with one that is not programable and appears to be used. Vendor claimed that Choice would not pay for replacement with a programable unit with a cost of a few dollars more. Dissatisfied that Choice would not pay to replace defective one with a comparable unit.

Enrollment was quick and easy. Surprised that coverage for a washing machine and refrigerator was additional. They are covered in all the other plans I considered. Sales representative was easy to work with. Selected Home Choice because of internet comparisons of companies.

Tech was very kind and all went well, except he was here 1 hr plus before he did anything at all. He was on the phone with his boss and trying get approval with Choice to replace a bad outlet only. He mentioned it was their first day with Choice, it just seemed as though his company wasn't quite sure how to deal with Choice on the repair so they were figuring it out while at my house? So it took 2 hrs to replace an outlet.

We had a really good experience with our Choice Home Warranty claim. This was our first claim and it is being resolved. The technician Davontae is wonderful - polite, professional and very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions and concerns.

Had to replace mounting bracket to connect the garbage disposal to the sink since it was not compatible with the new disposal. Paid the repairman $25.00 in addition to the $45.00 co-pay to install the mounting bracket.. Talked with Choice rep and was told it would be 4 hour delay to get approval. Got an email about 4 hours later with approval. That was after I had already paid the repairman $25.00. Can I get my $25.00 back?

The technicians were good, The A/C came at the wrong time that the appointment was set up. He explained the issue and explained what he was going to do and if something else had to be done the extra would not be covered.

Every time I open a ticket it is satisfying that it only take a few hours to get a respond. So far I have never had any bad issue with Choice Home Warranty. I will keep using this insurance for a long time.

We bought our first home a few years ago and were nervous about the unknowns. Thankfully, we were blessed to have a home that is less than 15 years old, but there can still be minor issues that can cost a lot. Our plan has paid for itself every year. The service is easy to do online or by phone.

We were very pleased with the technician. He wore a mask, was clean, and polite. Spent time checking out the dryer. He appeared to have an idea of what the problem was just by my explaining the issue I was having. Having examined the dryer, we were told what the problem is, and what needed to be done to repair it. Felt he was knowledgeable.

I originally ask for a washing machine repair man and he was very nice and checked washer and discovered it was my plumbing, advised me he would request Choice send a plumber which I understand you are trying to do at this time. My first experience with Choice and so far very satisfied.

Choice home warranty paid for the hot water heater and I paid for the non covered charges, $300. Everything happened quickly. No Delay anywhere. The contractor was prompt. He also came back and light the hot water heater after the gas connection given. That was very nice of him.

Had a leak at our property, it was fixed pretty quickly. The toilet and tub were fixed, and no longer leak. CHW is pretty quick in getting vendors out for repairs. The vendors have all been great, and professional, polite, on time, and ready to work. Thank you.

Having been burned by my previous home insurance company I was reluctant to try another one. That said Todd is the man. I have spent 29 years in sales and I can honestly say his low pressure, nice and easygoing nature was what convinced me to give you a try. The service man that came to check out the 2 appliances that I thought had to be replaced was on time, courteous, and very efficient. After approx. 30 min. he had fixed both appliances so that they worked perfectly. Unfortunately, I had to call the Appliance Store and cancel the order for new appliances. BUT, fortunately at this particular time, I did not have the big expense of those new appliances. THANK YOU!!!

We were having a defrost problem in the upper freezer drawer. Repair man found a freezer bag clip behind the drawer preventing the drawer from closing completely. Our bad! It wasn't something you could see without taking out the drawer which I did so we could clear the ice from it.

It's been more than 4 weeks since I reported this issue and at first, the technician came to check but we didn't hear from anybody since then. I already send a few mails but still waiting for the repairs to be done.

They didn't honor the contact. They lied about what they would pay if something was not able to be repaired. Then they tried to offer money for an item which was about 30% of value. I cannot get my appliances replaced at what they offered me. I paid in full based on what the representative and I initially went through over the phone regarding if they couldn't repair something they would replace it or they would replace it at today's value which is a bold-faced lie. There is a class action lawsuit with this attorney general of the state of Arizona, based on so many people having the same problem. I would NEVER recommend Choice Home Warranty!!

We purchased a home warranty through Choice Home Warranty via phone on June 22, 2020. This was to cover a home we had just purchased, which we moved into July 20 (thus, we bought the warranty a little less than a month before moving in). We purchased this in good faith that the company would actually cover the cost of legitimate issues our house might have in the future, given, of course, that these issues met the company's criteria, which we understood. Shortly after moving in, our air conditioner failed as a result of normal wear and tear on Sept. 2, 2020, and we filed a claim for coverage of a new unit the next day.
Three specialists looked at the AC: 2 independent, and 1 who was contracted by the home warranty company. The third was allowed to submit his evaluation of the reason for failure to the warranty company as part of an appeal. All of the HVAC specialists said the AC failure was due to normal wear and tear, which, according to Choice Home Warranty's policy, is a completely legitimate reason for the cost of a new AC to be covered by the company at 100% of the cost.
All 3 specialists stated that the entire unit needed to be replaced because it was 24 years old and they wouldn't find parts for it and it had a leak from rusting coils. However, the company refused. We tried countless times to call the company and reason with them, and we were left in a 90 degree house in South Florida at the beginning of September for 10 full days with a 2 year old while we tried desperately to get someone on the phone. Because the warranty company was so obviously a scam, we cancelled the policy, which had only covered the house for little over 2 months, and for which Choice Home Warranty did absolutely nothing and paid absolutely zero dollars towards any type of service. Now they refuse to refund us fully.
This company is an absolute sham and it literally steals money from its customers. It refuses, despite all evidence that it is responsible for repairs according to its own definition of responsibility, to cover the cost of repairs or appliance replacements because they have a clause stating it's at their discretion to approve or not. It claims to have "covered" our home, when in actuality the company did nothing. We paid for all three of the service technicians to come to our homes ($65 each), and now Choice Home Warranty will not refund the entirety of the money we paid for the plan. We simply don't want the plan.
The quality of this company's interactions with us as customers is beyond "poor." Representatives are downright rude and insulting. I have a copy of the third service technician's report, which he submitted directly from his company office to Choice Home Warranty, stating that the AC, which was roughly 25 years old, had failed to operate "due to normal wear and tear." Choice Home Warranty is explicitly stealing from us in their refusal to cover the cost of the AC, AND in their insistence that they not fully refund the cost of the plan, which is the LEAST for which we ask.
The cost of the plan was $663.00, and they only will refund $486.20. We paid three service technicians $65 each AND $3,400 for a new air conditioner. This company has done absolutely nothing but COST us money and did nothing to protect our home or our safety, but on the contrary, whose negligence was actually detrimental to our health, safety, and financial well being. They are rude con artists and scammers, and you should avoid this company at all costs.

Garbage disposal was broken and needed a new one. Claim submitted and total service was completed within 3 hours of submitting claim. Technician was professional and thorough. He had to replace disposal and the initial replacement failed to work so he did some troubleshooting and found the replacement part was not working. He replaced it with a second one he had on truck.

The last two claims were not handled well. One was for an Electrician to fix a burned out dryer outlet and the electrician cancelled and another had to pick up. I could not wait so I had to learned to do the job myself using YouTube and completed it by myself out of frustration with no electrician willing to get out here. The other claim was to fix a leaky bathroom jet-tub that ruined my kitchen ceiling. The part was hard to find due to the age of the tub. CHW refuses to just pay for the upgrade so that the job could be down in a timely manner. So here we are still waiting for a part that can take up to multiple weeks. This is an unreasonable waste of my time. This warranty is Supposed to be helpful and a great solution. I am not finding it helpful. It seems like money has been paid to have this CHW and it is not working smoothly at all. For next year, I think I will go to American Home Shield for their serves. This may be the last year with CHW.

Dishwasher would not turn on. Technician came out and stated he would advise Choice we need repairs. We still have same unit. It will now turn on but several steps need to be taken to run it. Will not just start on normal wash like it should. Still broken. Still waiting for fix.

Twice this week I have scheduled servicemen who came diagnosed and couldn't complete the job because the order was in as "collect call." Not warranty. The first time I called, they said they would take care of it. Today I had them come and diagnose the washer. Same situation happened. I called again, got shuffled to three people and once again they said they would take care of it. So my washer and my fridge is not fixed. They have trouble relaying correct appt times. One Friday there was an appt set and no one showed. Once you get them here the repair seems to go well, but the time you waste in the meantime is crazy!

The outside unit constantly ran for two weeks. The connection was frozen solid. The technician called me on his way over and guided me through what to do so the system would be ready. The man was amazing and considerate and really helpful. He explained everything he was doing and what was happening. He listened to what I heard and my complaints and took care of it. The process was timely and the technician did a great job. The claim denial was disappointing. I'm hoping a review will bring forth a reconsideration. Since there were no storms or power surges in the area, I couldn't understand the rational for justifying denial. The HVAC company did an excellent job. The technician Robert was very professional.

Please don't purchase Choice Home Warranty. It's a nightmare when you need service. I have a Hot water Tank issue and I'm going back and forth with Choice and their contractors with no resolution in sight. Please save your money. It's a scam. I think the good reviews are their relatives.

Cristobal did an outstanding job repairing our dryer. He wore his mask, was professional and did the repair very quickly. Also, he explained the work he completed. The repairmen called to change the scheduled time of the initial appointment, however he did arrive at the update time as he and I arranged. He was very pleasant and professional. He appeared to thoroughly survey the issue and provided me with instructions on the next process on how things should be handled. He was also able to confirm that despite the leak and required repair to fix it, the maintenance on the house was in excellent condition. He appeared very impressed and I would certainly recommend this company and CHoice Home Warranty to protect their investment.

Technican was very professional. He was prepared from a safety standpoint as well with a mask. He was very knowledgeable about his work and the problem we had with our stovetop. He did everything to fix the problem also told us what the issue was within the first 5 minutes of arriving. He came very early as well with a 4 hr window.

The HVAC tech arrived on time. He was respectful and knowledgeable. He was able to identify where the noise was coming from and advise me that the heating/cooling system is in good working order. He wore his mask and shoe covering the entire time he was in my home.

The set up for service was easy but the actual service has not been performed. In fact no technician has yet called. I have been updated to the procedures, even the offer to get my own technician. But if I had known this when I joined CHOICE Warranty, I would not have joined. COVID 19 is affecting all of us but in my area I do not believe it is as much of a hindrance as in some other parts of the country.

On the 1st appointment, the technician diagnosed the problem and sourced the control board required (which was no small feat, only 2 in the whole country). A week later, he installed the board and we checked it out to make sure it worked.

The customer service experience was great. The HVAC tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He took his time and was very detail in his explanation regarding my heating and ac issues. Your response time was much too slow. Problem reported on 9/23/2020. Parts ordered 9/30/2020. One entire week with water leaking from heater! Likely replacement to be performed during week of 10/05/2020! Two weeks with a major water leak and uncertain hot water? Get real!

Replace auto control valve. Excellent service! From the time the claim was filed and the initial evaluation of the problem was made, it took only three days for the service to be completed. The technicians were on time, replaced the valve and tested the system to make sure it worked.

CHW could not find a plumber to service my plumbing, so they offered me a reimbursement to get my blockage fixed. This worked very well as my problem was fixed within 24 hours of reporting to CHW. This was good customer service.

They didn't cover my appliance. The case manager assigned never contacted me in spite of me calling 5 times and emailing. She also messed up the ticket and I spoke to someone else who corrected her mistake. They still denied it and wasted my time and money when I should've just hired a repair person. Save up your money and fix it yourself.

The gentleman who helped me with my enrollment was very nice. He gave me a lot of options to choose from. And helped me decide on the best plan. I really appreciate that. A/C was blowing hot air, not cooling at all. Adam S. found the condenser was the problem and got the A/C performing right again. I had been without the A/C for three weeks. Adam S. was very courteous and professional. I would like to have him again for any other problems with the A/C. So far, he is the best tech that Choice has sent out. Indeed, he renewed my faith in Choice. The 2 or 3 other techs Choice sent out for two other jobs were disgusting to the point I put off calling Choice for this problem. It ended well.

I'm brand new to Choice eHome Warranty so have virtually no experience with it other than the Sales Process and Sales Representative (Troy and/or Travis **). He was professional, answered all questions, provided good information, was vigilante in his response to offset my objections (as a good salesperson should be). I appreciated his work, his approach and his ability to get me to sign up for the program. (I've flirted with the concept of a Home Warranty for years and the next effect is that Travis was able to get it done.) As far as how does Choice Home Warranty respond and live up to its representations; time will tell if I ever have a covered repair issue.

I find that the several times that I've used Choice it's basically comes down to they do not want to cover the basics just the minimal necessary but the text that they send out here are like the best just like the company that came out yesterday September 29th to fix my toilet problem. Explained everything to me that let me look and gave me some pointers. You're very nice, respectful people also they had their mass in that gloves and they were a pleasure to work with. As I said it seems like Choice does the bare minimum. It's not the tech's fault 'cause they have to call in to see if something beyond their you know the scope. Nine times out of 10 it isn't covered and that's the choice that Choice makes which is a right name for the company because they always choose not to cover anything but something basic like stopped up toilet. That's it but the text they sent out our great.

I have used Choice Home Warranty for 10 years...I bought a 5 year policy at my previous address....and now moved...You would not allow me to transfer it to my new home...first of all....so I called in and got a warranty on the above address....The agent was terrible. Gave me wrong quote...Acted like he was confused....I dealt before with one of the owners...Much better experience....This guy ...I really don't think I got much of a deal....I expected some kind of consideration because essentially I have two policies in force.

The repairmen from A and A heating and cooling, LLC were scheduled to arrive between 11 -1 but showed up at 9 in the morning without calling to notify of arrival. I can't comment on work yet because this was only the inspection required to determine what needs to be done.

That was on a Monday and by Tuesday they called and told me that’s they couldn’t fix the washing machine and they would be sending me a check. Excellent company with integrity. Updated on 3/27/2021: He went thru each item and restored my pump to its correct service order. The vacuum was off and he showed me how to correct that if it happens again. Last year he put a new motor in and it has been doing everything very well. The pump and its pipes etc. are hard to get to and he did a hell of a good job. I would recommend Jonathan from Pool Era to anyone.

Two technicians from the same company came to repair our microwave. They were fast and courteous and had it repaired in under an hour.. They took the microwave down that is mounted over the stove, placed it on the counter and replaced the mechanism that was not working. Overall, things couldn't have gone any better,

I was told to find my own tech. I did this and the night before at 9:00pm I received a email that Choice had scheduled on for Monday. I did not have time to cancel and was changed from the first company and then still had to pay the $65 for your tech. I think the work was completed but ask the tech to contact me with the findings and when the the work was done. He did not.

This claim was initiated on 9-7-20. After many calls and emails the technician was finally dispatched on 9-22-20. (15 days later) Sid's Appliance was wonderful but Choice fell short by a long shot again. This is not the first time as almost every time there is a claim I do most of the work and have to argue every inch of the way. False promises by many agents and no return calls by supervisors even when escalated. Lost $300.+ worth of food waiting for service. George Foreman should be ashamed of himself by endorsing this company.

My dryer was not heating. The repair person arrived at said time and looked at it and determined that the heating element was no good. He replaced it and cleaned it and it works good as new. The repairman was courteous and extremely professional and knowledgeable.

My AC unit stopped blowing cold air. The problem was fixed at scheduled time with no issues. It took about 2 hrs. for service man to resolve the issue. Service man was very respectable and quick. Unit needed freon, tech has to return, needs approval does not make sense. Now we need 2nd appt. We should not have to get a approval and wait for another appt. We had a 7 to 11 and had to wait for a change to 3 to 7 therefore wasting a whole day.

I’ve made a claim. Had Clear Water Solutions come out to check my hot water heater and they established that I needed a new one. Choice Warranty said I needed to pay $455 to move forward. I wanted answers as to why and haven’t heard from anyone since Lydia was assigned to my case. I’ve called three times and am awaiting a response. I don’t know what else I need to do but I am not happy with the customer service as of now. Please contact me at some point ** so we can resolve this. If not I’ll be looking for a refund and another warranty company.

Back of the toilet leaking so fast that house water had to be shut off. The cutoff wouldn't work. The plumber arrived the next day in his plumber truck and I invited him in. He came in and went to the bathroom that had the leak. he bent over and observed the leak. He then went to his truck, returned and fixed it. Then he left.

Called customer service to file a claim to have our washing machine repaired. The claim was posted, the repairman came to evaluate the washing machine. The evaluation was reported to Choice, Choice told repairman to fix, the repair parts were ordered and a date to return and complete the repairs was made. This all was completed in one day. I’m completely satisfied with Choice and strongly recommend Choice to everyone I know.

I need repairs to the pool plumbing and can’t seem to get Choice representatives to understand my simple issue. When the new pool filter was installed earlier this month leaks occurred due to faulty plumbing that could not handle the increase in water pressure. The pool company and I are unable to speak to a representative we can only communicate via email. My pool needs to be repaired due to losing water nightly from the leaks.

Satisfied with response time to initial call for service. Service provider came and assessed the problem and decided that there was a leak and the unit needed to be replaced. Choice has decided to replace only the coil and not the entire system as recommended. It has been 3 weeks and nothing has been replaced. I am also being asked to pay $500 for modifications that may or may not be needed.

Marcus repaired the dryer and now it works like brand new. He is very efficient and good at what he does. He repaired the dryer. Tested it out and cleaned the filter and cleaned the area after he was done. I love his work. He is very good at repair appliances.

When I called, no available agents. Had a callback approx 20 min later. Rep. was ignorant on what to do, rude, and hung up on me!!!! Really???? This company needs a revamp, and should not even be a company.. They do not even pay for the whole issue. If it's over 1500, which by the way is usually the case, guess who is stuck paying??? Yup, that would be you, so purchasing this home warranty isn't worth the money. Save your money

Our dishwasher wouldn't cycle. I made a claim and it was my first time doing so. I was ignored for the first 4 days. It took that long and I called back after & the third time and was extremely aggravated. Finally got somebody to put in an emergency phone call for me to be called back and I was finally called back and then I was told after the technician came out here and said I needed a new dishwasher because of the parts were going to be too much to cost to pay to repair it so they were going to replace the dishwasher.
I was told then that they would only offered me $179.99 and I was told by the claims representative that the parts were no longer available. I explained to her that I did my homework and the parts were available and that that her statement was not true and that she told me that some claim number... that that's why I was not going to be able to get full plate replacement and I said, "Well they are available because I already checked it out" and then she said, "Well they are on backorder but they were the ETA was not known." I said, "Well on back order and not available are extremely different things and so what you said first is not true."
So anyway when it all came down to the end of it I was golfer $229 for about a $700 dishwasher. I'm not happy. I also have a claim in for a small leak in my roof. I still haven't heard anything on that. That was about 10 days ago. So am I happy? Not at all. If something doesn't get done soon I don't know what's going to happen but I need to be taken care of. This is ridiculous. Customer service with this company so far is terrible and I'm not a happy customer so claim warranty is not doing good for me right now. I called you, and had to pay a renewal fee which was about to expire and paid the fee of $1,050.00 via my credit card ending with **. Then he said he would have to transfer my call to the office to handle the repair. I was placed on hold, and never got anyone to answer. Haven't yet received a call.. I went ahead with having Addcox Heating Center come and make the repair. They got the heating system to work properly, at of $105.00, but had to order a part that will need to be replaced. All is working well at this time, but Choice Home Warranty has yet to do anything.

Contractor showed up at the beginning of the time window (not at the end). This gentleman was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, used identifying techniques for leak and went out of his way to identify that we had a lifetime warranty on our faucet and how to obtain a replacement. Tech came in a timely manner. Came with the part for the oven, fixed it and left. With other companies, things that needed fixing, they would come out and look at it, then say they would have to order a part, then wait for days before another return to fix whatever needed fixing. Disposal was leaking and not working properly. I called and they said they would get back with me on the service call. The plumber called and set up day or service the same day. Francisco is a very police gentleman and a person of few words. He went to work right away, testing my AC and found that water was backing up in the condensation line because the PVC set up that transported water from the unit to the outside wasn't flowing downhill. He changed the configuration of the drain lines to improve the water flow, replaced a dirty filter and the unit is working as intended now. Thanks, Francisco.

We called twice with about a week between calls. Our initial call with Luke was exploratory. We found Luke friendly and patient with our questions. While he made some attractive offers, when we told him we weren’t ready to purchase, he remained friendly. I was waiting on the part and the technician to call or text me back. He didn’t place the order in. The claim was put in 9/3/2020. I’m still waiting for my oven to be fix. I have not received any feedback from Choice or the technician. I hope someone from the main office get in contact with the technician and myself.

My Technician was patience & kind. Very helpful & knowable on what was wrong with my air conditioner. Customer Service it took 4 months to send out a Technician to solve my problem. I was very disappointed. When I spoke to a case manager it only took 2 days. I recommended friends & family members & hope they are taken care of in a timely manner.

My dishwasher 's heating element broke and I reported it to Choice. Choice assigned Sears to the repair. I am not dissatisfied with Choice, but very dissatisfied with the Sears repairman. Since he knew the description of the problem and the model of my dishwasher, I expected him to have the part prior to his arrival. He ordered the part, which took one a week and scheduled his return two weeks later. This is taking entirely too much time. The repairman stated, If I got the part, call him for an earlier appointment. I did call and haven't heard from him.

Serviceman came out and tested the dishwasher and said it will probably be too expensive to repair for its problems and age. CHW called me and said a check will be sent to me. The amount is not enough to buy a new one but it will surely offset the cost. Of all the times I have had to call on CHW for issues with covered items they have come through with some assistance.

A/C was not working. When the tech got here and went right to work and explained each step to me. Found a small leak upstairs and with in no time had the leak fixed and system recharged and everything started working like it should. I want to thank Breeze Air and the tech Cody for the fast service that they gave to me. The amount you give for the replacement of the microwave doesn’t even cover 1/4 of the cost of a similar one. We purchased the microwave 2 years ago for almost $300. You are only giving us $160 for a new one. We cannot purchase a new microwave for that cost. I am extremely unsatisfied.

Choice Home Warranty hired a no name company to fix my AC. They ended up installing the wrong type of thermostat for my AC and they wired it wrong. The faulty wiring burned up the Zone Control Board. The no name company won’t return my calls and Choice takes a week to get back to me, even after daily calls and emails. The warranty does not cover the Zone control board, even though they broke it. And now, they are refusing to fix anything, even the faulty thermostat. So what should have been a simple fix has turned into a $1000 cost I am forced to spend. Choice Home Warranty is honestly useless. Do your research and pick a company with good customer service and who will warranty their work. I definitely do not recommend.

Called to report HVAC not working on Friday 9/18/20. Still not repaired as of 9/24/20. Choice tech came Monday night reported unit need to be replaced due to wear and tear. Choice repossessed with a canned reply denying their own tech’s recommendation. We have scheduled regular maintenance on both our systems. All the items listed that Choice is rejecting are mainly items that would be due to wear and tear. Mainly technical jargon designed to confuse customers. Project manager was forwarded proof of our regular maintenance and another company’s review of the system. She was to get back with me today but failed to do so. Unacceptable!!!! We have been without AC service going on 8 days!!! Sure not living up to the hype of their national ads or sales staff. So disappointed and frustrated.

I'm very disappointed with the whole process currently. They came to look at my washer and explained what they found. They never drained the washer and in fact told my wife it was our job to do. When I got the email from you our claim was rejected saying it was determined the drain pump and suspension rods have failed and require replacement. It went on to say this unit has not entered the policy in proper working order and is not working properly due to pre-existing conditions.
When I purchased this Home Warranty everything in my home was in good working order. In fact their was a clean load of wash sitting next to the washer machine that we had done the day before the washer stopped working. Therefore, we filed an appeal. I got an email from Melony our rep that was assigned our appeal. Saying to contact her, which I called and left a voice message. I also emailed her and called her again. I still have not heard from her. I still have water in my washer which I assume now that I need to remove myself. The whole process right now is very disappointing to me. Our appliances are or were in good working order when I started this agreement. I hope Melony or someone contacts me ASAP. A disappointed customer.

I have had an account with Choice Home Warranty for 3 years since I purchased my home. I have used the service several times and have been very satisfied. I used the plumber service yesterday. There were several problems that arose. The Plumber said if he had done my job without this warranty I would have had to pay at least a $1000 or more. I only pay the monthly fee of $37.50 and a service fee of $65. Thank God I don't have to lose sleep worrying about how to come up with lots of money to pay for services. I have peace of mind knowing Choice Home Warranty is there. I recommend it to friends and family, even strangers.

We're not very happy with the price to replace our Oven because we are only getting less than $500.00 to replace it and we have been to several places and they want over a $1000.00 for our type wall mount oven. We thought we would have it replaced for at least for $1300.00 which was what we paid for it when we build our home 13 years ago. $500 is not worth what we pay of this agreement with you all, when we have paid monthly for this Choice Warranty for years.

I have been waiting for 3 days for the claims manager to contact me. Called again today and was told it would be another 24 hours before contact. Very discouraged. Furnace was working when I turned off for summer and was told that this was preexisting and would need to pay for repair out of pocket. Not happy with this answer. They say because of rust it was preexisting. The repair person was very nice and explained what was wrong and said he would send report to warranty company.

I’m having issues with the fridge defrosting in the freezer compartment. I’ve got another issue a repair place is taking care of. I requested that they look into this second issue when they are repairing the first issue. They emailed me back in 10 minutes with the same day appointment. I’ve gotten MULTIPLE calls trying to get me to switch companies, with the claims that CHW has POOR reviews. This will be my 3rd claim with NO issue. I have nothing but GOOD to say about CHW.

Did a water heater claim. Choice warranty would not even cover a portion of the claim even though it wasn't my knowledge that the water heater was over sized upon purchase of the home 6 months ago. I pay for the insurance and not even a portion was covered and I was willing to pay for the difference out of pocket. Even with these troubling times due to Covid-19.
