Very positive experience in ordering new warranty plan. Gary was very professional and efficient in answering all my questions in explaining warranty plans and pricing. Sales person Kyle was not very customer service oriented. When I told I did not want to pay for the year all at once he seemed not to care whether I signed up or not. When I said I wanted to pay monthly, He couldn't wait to get me off the phone. Thankfully I based your product on others recommendation not your service personnel. Not a good customer service experience. Maybe he had a bad day....

I called to make a claim on my hot water heater. My contact ended this month and received a text with my new payments. I spoke with Stephanie who addressed all my issues and got my pricing costs back to the original price. Then she. Took care of my claim. It was a very comfortable call and I was put at ease. The response time was outstanding. I am not satisfied with the exclusions of the policy. Most items that cause a malfunction that is costly are not covered by the policy. I spent over $500.00 in total for service call fee and repairs. It may be wiser to take out policies with other companies that cost more monthly, that have fewer exclusions.

Simple process with very helpful guidance and options. Exceeded expectations in the friendly and professional support. Multiple options provided for future extensions and or renewal. Support member answered an initial question from an on-line application and then took control to completed the application thru securing a new policy.

Our hot water heater went completely out the service technician was extremely helpful. Disappointing that Choice refused to replace or credit towards a new hot water heater. We’ve been left without hot water for over a week now with zero solutions from Choice. Have a family with children. Where is the humanity here.

I was looking after 49 years with Sears for home appliance warranties and I called Choice Home Warranty and spoke to a nice young man Luis and he walked me through everything. I purchased a policy and I am happy to be away from Sears after 49 years with them their service went downhill. Your company came highly recommended. Thank you.

One morning woke up to a flooded garage with water running everywhere. Called to report leaking tank and send a repairman out. Repairman looked at it and said these things only last so long with this hard water and recommended replacement tank. Choice denied my claim to replace my hot water tank. Needless to say I was very upset for denial. What good is a warranty that doesn't live up to its obligations? Paid over $1000 to get water heater replaced out of my own pocket.

I am very pleased with how quickly Choice Home Warranty responds to claims. The only issue I have is that the amount awarded to replace seems extremely low for the appliance being serviced. We recently submitted a claim for our washing machine, which would have cost more to fix than to replace. We got a settlement that did not even cover half the cost of replacing this appliance. You could say it was "better than nothing" which we decided to be true. But, we don't understand why the payouts are so low. Otherwise, we are very happy with the expertise of the service person sent and the amount of time it took to settle.

Brian from Legacy was efficient and did the work in record time. He also installed a new flusher in the toilet that gave me peace of mind for future. He showed me a potential issue with the seal under the toilet, as well. Excellent work!!

Handle on toilet will not flush., Chain broken. I tied a string from handle to chain so it would flush. So far this has worked but you will send a plumber out on Friday Dec. 4th. This is not an emergency since we have 2 bathrooms.

Needed parts to fix. You would think that he would have on truck since he was a Sears guy and knew the problem and model before coming. Have to wait near two weeks with laundry piling up. What is a mother to do?

I have been trying to get my refrigerator fixed by them for last 5 weeks. They send out repairman from Sears. The electronic panel is not working. It was not freezing now. Since first technician it is now over freezing. Now it is also freezing everything on top also eggs, lunch meat, produce ruining it all. The repairman from Sears said it is too old. Cannot get the parts needed it would need to be replaced. Now they continue to send a repairman. Last call he did not even make contact with me I was home all day. Instead he closed my ticket stated I refused his repair which was a lied. I would call Choice Warranty. They have not been responsive or sensitive to the repair of my appliances. I have been with them a while. This is my worst experience.

I thought it was the thermostat. It was but they did go up in the attic and the furnace checked out. They put a new thermostat in. It now works fine. They were on time and had it fixed in no time at all.

We have been without a close washer for 2 weeks now it was about 1 1/2 weeks before anyone came out to look at it. he said that it would be more expensive to fix than it would be to replace it. We said that is ok with us if you want to replace it. They then offer us $ 350 to replace it after we paid our $75 fee for the repair guy to show up just to look at it. They think that I can replace a LG direct drive front load washer for $275 even Black Friday deals aren't that good. Now I get to wait and see what they will do next. I am glad that I live so close to a Laundromat.

I had American Home Shield which was transferred to me upon the purchase of our new home. The renewal without the pool-spa and well pump was significantly higher as well as the service fee. The only option I would have liked to see is monthly payments.

Repairman was great fixed heater then also found a minor leak in spa return line. To bad unable to speak with a live person about your claim however. Claim service dept open 24 x7 but is not. Also unable to edit claim forms if a mistake is made.

The technician was out the next day. Was professional and complete the task with no problem. He made sure before leaving the dishwasher worked and cleaned up his mess. I was very excited because water was under my cabinets due to this leak. No more water.

This is the second time I place a claim with the company and I am very pleased with the promptness my case was processed. Even though the recording that answered my call advised me that there might be a slightly longer wait time it only took minutes to talk to a service rep. Shortly after having placed the claim I was called and emailed with information of my scheduled appointment. The whole process did not take more than 15 minutes, courtesy and professionalism was impressing.

I needed a plumber right away. I had no hot water, and needed my hot water tank checked. First Action Plumbing came at the specified time - very nice and knowledgeable about what could be the problem. I am now waiting to hear the results of his contacting a company to see about replacing a part.

Found James of Affordable to be very knowledgable, pleasant to work with, and efficient. There was a mistake in the order, a doubling of the stove portion, which did not allow him to work on the oven. I would want him to return for any future repairs to be done. I will be further disappointed if there is another charge for the second visit. The response time was too long.

I have been with Choice for more than 3 years and I am happy with their service. I had multiple claims and they were able to resolve most of the claims efficiently. Only thing I don’t like is the replacement of an utility. They offer very low replacement cost compared to the market price. Other than that, if something breaks or needs repair they are very reliable on the claims and refunds.

This unit has been in the area for years and was never told it was not covered, in fact when the unit was being installed the question was ask if the unit would be covered and was told YES. Choice pulled a similar trick when I had the main unit replaced 5 years ago and told that they would not pay to replace a 2 1/2 ton unit with a 3 ton after many calls for service. Choice is not trustworthy, they speak with forked tongue.

So far, pretty good. The service contractors sent by Choice have been very polite, punctual and informative. Customer service is good. So far they are very accommodating and are trying to resolve any issues I have. I cannot comment on the coverage until after the contractor completes the job.

I was offered replacement of my dishwasher for only $180 after paying technician $65 ... which gives me $115 to replace a dishwasher? Mine had full features including steam which will be around $600 for replacement. My microwave went out a few months ago and I was also offered $180 for it. Is $180 the standard offer for replacement for everything? My new microwave was close to $400 ... this is not right or realistic.

Washer just stopped working after being loaded. The washer started then stopped (water came in and began then it just spinned out and stopped). Fill light and lid lock light began blinking. Washer would not restart. I placed a call to Choice Home Warranty and a repairman was dispatched to my home (JP Appliances).

Our oven stopped working just prior to the holidays; we were concerned with a technician in our house during this COVID-19 pandemic. However, the technician was very prompt, followed COVID-19 protocols, and was very efficient in making the repairs. Had all required tools and parts in his vehicle and was able to complete the job in one visit, without having to return.

These guys were AWESOME!! Very respectful (came in wearing masks without being asked), timely, honest, and excellent work. In fact, I liked them so much I have already hired them to do additional work, which has already been taken care of. Excellent service all the way around. These guys are now saved in my phone and the only ones I’ll trust locally. It was so nice to meet them. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work. The photo included is of a dishwasher that I paid them to install. They actually made time for me the day before Thanksgiving; which my wife was very excited about. Do not trust this company... They are liars.... They will not help you if you have a claim. They have over 14000 BBB complaints.. Let me start by saying that being a homeowner you expect things to have to be maintained and of course break, It’s just part of homeownership. That’s why when I received a call from Choice Home Warranty offering me their products I was really excited to what they were propositioning. I paid $1260 dollars on four payments to which two payments have been already been made. I sign up for the total plan which is the best coverage with this company, I was reluctant at first but the sales person kept giving discounts and different promotions to incentivize me to buy their coverage.
I asked if there will be an inspection before coverage started. I just wanted to make sure that there would be no questions asked if I needed to file a claim in the future, I was told no, there is no need to do an inspection. Only requirement was DO NOT file a claim within the first THIRTY DAYS of signing up for the policy. Well I had no reason to file a claim since everything in my house was properly working and I was buying this coverage for peace of mind of not having to pay out of pocket for the potential expensive repairs that we can certainly encounter as homeowners. Well Murphy’s law at work here. Not two months later my AC UNIT BREAKS. I called and I was told by an automated system that I would have to make a claim online due to Covid 19.
Since when COVID 19 prevents people from talking on the phone?? But I went ahead and placed the claim online. This was on Wednesday November 25th 2020 afternoon when I returned from work and realized that the unit was not cooling my home. I was told that the AC TECH will come on Friday (today) between the hours of 7:00 am and 11:00 am. Weeeellll. No one showed up!!! After calling multiple times and sending multiple messages on the Claim portal, we were told that the tech would not come and they would have to open a new claim to schedule another company to come. After three hours on the phone we were finally able to have the original tech scheduled to come to our home. The tech finally showed up at 6:45 pm.
After the tech check the system he said that we needed to add refrigerant to my unit but he wanted to check if the Choice would allow to do a leak test. Well CHOICE HOME WARRANTY has denied the claim and now are saying that due to the system leaking refrigerant that this was a preexisting condition. NO, THIS WAS NOT A PREEXISTING CONDITION. That’s why I wanted a home inspection before I sign up for their coverage... to prove to them that everything was operating as per manufacturing expectations. So here I am.. enjoying the great 84 degrees that my home is currently at inside and with no answer from the policy that was supposed to cover my HOME.

I waited through 3 plumbers trying to get them to fix my pipe. Now I have to wait another week before one come out. Not good. We have a person in a wheelchair and need the water. I was told that was the earliest that they had available.

On May 12, 2020 I purchased warranty. Told by Shawn **, sales that plan covered all kitchen appliances. In Nov. problem with ice maker, no ice. I called complaint number and was told the ice maker was covered. Choice sent out repairman, I paid $65.00. He told me he submit to have part ordered. Then e-mail to me claim not covered. I asked for reconsideration, spoke to Michael **, denied claim and told me he has to end call because 15 minutes was up. I called again to speak to his superior and received a call from to Ashton ** and received no satisfaction.
My issue is twofold. 1. False advertising as to items covered under warranty. 2. When I called to make the claim the lady I spoke to told me the Ice Maker was covered under warranty. If she would have told me no, I then would have got me own repairman or attempted a self repair. I believe most reputable companies would have understood this and for customer relations purposes paid for the ice maker repair. I do not believe after my 40 years in the corporate work force that a honest, reputable company would treat customers in this manner.

At the end of the day, I do not feel supported by this program as it covers very little and is nothing more than a money grab that takes too much time to go through the claim process which always gets denied. I have numerous rental properties and never had a positive experience. I had a bathroom drain issue and water heater problems that they always found excuses not to support. I will never recommend a program like this.

Don’t use. This company had problems from their contractor about how he going to get paid to them denying part of my claim. On site under terms doesn’t mention tub hardware which I was sold the policy under to in my contract is excludes tub hardware. Dispute resolution members are rude and non helpful. Contractor doesn’t want to do work unless I pay in full because he said he didn’t get paid on a couple jobs.
In a recent review of your claim, our records show that your claim has been sent to our dispatch department to secure another technician. We apologize for any delay this has caused.

The furnace keeps stopping; breaker kicking out. As a result we didn't have any heat. Discovered that the breaker on the furnace was bad and the entire unit was replaced. Part had to be ordered over Thanksgiving Holiday and entire project took three days. Technician arrived promptly at 8:45 AM the morning after Thanksgiving. Upon arrival the job was complete approx. one hour.

Great Experience!! Heating system quit blowing hot air. Claim was initiated, I was then sent an e-mail acknowledging receipt of claim and letting me know that a technician would call with appt details, Received a call from technician soon after that and he visited my home within the following 24 hours. Heat in my home is working like a charm!! My experience with prior Home Warranty Companies has not been a smooth one. I definitely recommend CHW to any home owner looking for peace of mind.

Disappointing that you only paid $200 dollars for a $350. Also wish you would have paid the $200 directly to vendor because Takes too long to be reimbursed. Been waiting 3 months for a $60 check still have received for a different claim.

Microwave stopped working. It was discovered it needed a new main board but the manufacture stopped making it so had to settle on buy out price. I was assigned a Manager to review buy out price. That took a while to get the communication going but it finally did and I was satisfied.

I spent $65 to be told my claim wouldn’t be covered over a damaged $5-$20 part. I am extremely disappointed. I was never contacted in regards to my appeal of the denial of my claim. I will never use Choice Home Warranty again. The plumber that looked at my toilet was nice enough but he has nothing to do with choice. And frankly, neither do I after this experience.

I can hardly believe that it took almost 2 months to get this taken care of. Had I not pushed and pushed, it never would have been handled. And then the cash out price is only half of what it will take to replace the unit.

Called for a plumber because the toilet in the guest room didn't flush. The plumber of Jackson Water and Waste Drain Cleaning came to fix the problem, Was very pleased with his work and and professionalism, He knew exactly and quickly manners and how quickly he did his work. First and most important complaint is automatically scheduling service appointments without consulting customer. Single clients can't accommodate during the day appointments. Clear problem with toilet but denied replacement which has caused another service visit where I have to take off work.

The oven door would not close. I could see the problem so I removed the door to straighten the piece that appeared to have bent. Now that I have the door off, could not fix the problem, I can now not get the door back on because of the tight springs. I will not give a great review until the service is performed. It’s Thanksgiving day and the garbage disposal went out. Not a good day for such an occurrence. I called Choice Home, whom I am new with. When selling me their service, I was told service would be provided within 24 hours. My appointment is for Monday the 30th. That’s five days I have to wait for service! Really???! AC condenser would not kick in and cool the rooms. Storm surge tripped circuit breaker. Technician did extensive testing on the unit and discovered the issue. He reset the circuit breaker and everything worked. This certainly should have been covered, as he did a review of the entire AC system. Worst experience I've ever had with a home warranty. Took 2 months for Choice to get someone out to tell me it couldn't be fixed or would cost too much to fix. Had to fight for $ to replace and still didn't get enough to purchase comparable microwave.

I have been with Choice Home Warranty for years and it have all been good until I had a real issue with my refrigerator door gasket, as per the technician the gasket is not available in the market, therefore Choice Warranty rejected the claim even though in the contract they claimed that if they can't repair the appliance they will replace it, I was told that the gasket is not damaged from wear and tear when it is.

I had a problem with the gas line that comes into my oven/stove. When I called to schedule service I informed the agent of exactly what needed to be done as the firemen came out the day before and told me. Instead they booked the wrong repairman (an appliance guy) who said I needed a plumber. I was charged for both.

I have dealt with 2 other home warranty companies and they both covered a leaking hot water heater. You denying the claim due to that is not acceptable to me. The tech who came to my home was great and I would recommend him. He looked my hot water heater over then said it was normal wear and tear and should be covered. CHW seems not to be in my best interest as 2 out of my 3 claims were denied and had to be challenged. This is not what I am looking for in a warranty company and is not what your ads/brochures lead someone to believe. There are better out there and I am taking my business elsewhere. I've requested my policy be cancelled and a refund processed. Will be doing the same for the 2 other policies I have with CHW for my 2 rental properties. You're fired.

1. The "proof is in the pudding," and I've not yet tasted the pudding. Therefore, my 5 stars are for the salesman only. In addition, I am replacing a contract with a competitor whose policy I never once needed nor tested, and hopefully this one will not be needed either.
2. In checking reviews of Choice Warranty, I found that almost every review was favorable. One party complained that the tech company took 4 months before another tech company was sent out to resolve the problem. She complained that she had to pay the service fee twice.
I went with Choice Warranty because they cover more items and at a considerable lower price. And with good testimonials, what more can a homeowner ask? If ever I need a repair, I will submit a review that covers service. 2.

I called CHW to place a service claim for a heater fan motor that went out. While on the phone with customer service, I renewed my contract for another year and also received a free service fee. Within ten minutes a technician called me. Although my appointment was scheduled for the next day, He said he was close in the area and ask if he could stop by to evaluate my issue. After evaluating, he immediately knew the problem. He called CHW and got approved for the part and fixed it within one hour. Amazing! Thumbs up to K & L HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING LLC. We had a burning smell every time we turned on our AC/Heater upstairs. We called CHW and they were nice enough to send us a technician who diagnosed that our AC needs a new motor. Our AC is under warranty due to it being new so the motor is FREE, But Choice wants us to pay the technician company $125 for delivery services of the motor from manufacturer to them and back. I'm trying to figure out why we get a warranty if they have all these hidden fees that do not disclose to us when they are selling us the policy. The person who sold me the policy never mentioned to me that product under warranty are not going to be covered and I'll be paying for the shipping fees. I'm deeply disappointed in CHW and how they treat their customers.

He only looked at 2/5 Faucets in our house for Water pressure and then told us we should go to Home Depot to buy the parts to do the rest of the work ourselves... Also even after being told our Kitchen faucet would be replaced, he refused to do the work and wanted additional money outside of the claim to do the work. My GE Washing Machine had stopped spinning the clothes during the spin/dry cycle. Choice sent out a repair man and it was determined that the problem was a bearing and that it would cost more to repair than to replace the washer. I was very disappointed in not getting the service I paid for. I will definitely stop doing business with Choice once my warranty is up. I get pay for a warranty that do not cover the things I need fixed. I shouldn’t be held responsible for something that was installed in the house before I purchased it not knowing it would be a problem. I lived in the house over a year and when my heat went out Choice made the decision to not fix it because of a part that was put on there. That was done prior to me moving and if I’m paying to have a warranty Choice should have fixed the problem. I am a unsatisfied customer who will be taking my business elsewhere.

I now understand that CHW will offer me the wholesale price not replacement price. AND, the air conditioner, if it needs replacement, is capped at $1,500. I never knew this.. I specifically bought this protection because of that concern.. and now I'm told there is a cap.

If would have known I was buying such a sorry warranty I would have never purchased. For you to deny a claim due to rust in the south is just an excuse, my truck has rust and has never had a problem. I will make sure I tell everyone I know and that is part of my online community not to ever purchase anything from Choice Home Warranty. If something is not done about repairing my unit I will seek the advice of an attorney on filing a class action suit, because I feel I’m not the only one that gets these lame excuses. My furnace stopped working so I called CHW on Saturday. I new it was the weekend so I knew I would have to most likely wait a couple days and that was okay since the weather was not that cold. I set up the claim and the girl on the other end was very nice, helpful, and informative, I received an email confirmation. On Sunday I received an email stating that I could find my own HVAC and take a payout after they come out. I decided not to do that and wait for the CHW HVAC.
I called Sunday and the man on the other line was very nice, informative, and helpful, He stated that by Monday it should be assigned. I was fine with that. I received a call back from him on Sunday stating that my claim was assigned for Tues between 7-11. The HVAC was here at around 9:00 and he fixed the issue and only took about 15 min. I am very satisfied. I had American Home Shield prior and my air broke in 100 degree weather and it took 2 months to get it fixed. I will refer CHW to anybody.

I am very unhappy with the experience of having my oven repaired. After multiple attempts and missed appointments I finally got the service person from Hamilton Enterprises. He said he had repaired the problem but had not. After multiple calls again he finally came back out to say it was another problem. This all started in September or November 2019. Finally, at the beginning of the pandemic I get a call saying I have the part and need to set up an appointment. I asked to wait until we were in a better place with COVID before I could have anyone in my home. I started calling to set up the service appointment. I made multiple calls to the service provider and had Ms. Hazel-** intervene.
Finally, I get an appointment scheduled and as was the case multiple times in the past the service provider did not show up. So I get a new case manager and a new service company who says the appliance needs to be replaced. I get an offer of $349.00 to replace a gas range???? I did, after talking to the case manager get an increase of $ 50.00. I am very dissatisfied!! I have spent more than that in monthly payments, service fees, and wasted time. What else... Oh, in the midst of all of that I get a notice that the monthly charges and the service fees are going up. Do you really expect me to pay more for this bad service???

Blue Red Heat Cooling come out on 11-18-2020 and fixed the heating system and it worked for 6 days. 11-23 -2020 it is not working again. Our repair request went smoothly once a repair company was located. I guess due to Covid it is a bit more difficult to find someone. Once it was scheduled it went fine. I called the repairman to explain the issue so he could bring appropriate parts and not have to make 2 trips. The repairman arrived as scheduled, fixed the icemaker with the needed part that he picked up on the way, and the icemaker was working fine and he was out of here within 30 mins. Great experience.

We've used our home warranty twice. Once for our pool, and once for our A/C. Our A/C unit just turned out to be lack of knowledge on our part (moved to AZ from WA), but the pool was a different story. Choice was fantastic in both instances, and sent out vendors we ended up hiring (or are planning to hire) for a few other tasks around our house. The few parts our pool ended up needing, Choice was prompt to order and everything was scheduled in a concise and efficient manner. We couldn't be happier with their service, and I can only hope that they don't change their policies or customer service anytime soon.

The plumber was very friendly. He talked to me about the problem with the toilet. Explain how the part had went bad. Also that that was another reason my water bill was so high. Then he came back and changed a flap in the toilet. Tried to catch him before he got to far away from my house. He came back now problem. Went to work to fix the problem. Fifteen minutes after he left for the second time. My toilet started clicking on and off everything two minutes. Called back to Choice to let them know. The technician was great, the followup was stupid. It was alleged that the door failure on the microwave was not due to wear and tear - it is due to that. We take good care of our microwave which is now 18 years old. The door plastic has embrittled over time, and that is why it failed.

I placed a claim last week and did not hear from technician. I called the phone # I was given to advise I would not be available so they reassigned to another technician. I was unable to keep that appointment also. So now I've been reassigned again. In the meantime my washer machine went on the fritz! My question is why can't the two claims be combined? Thank you.

The service technician was great. He came in, assessed the problem and fixed it. I was pleased with him. The rapid speed of getting an appointment was impressive. However, the call center representatives were a little hard for me to understand. I called a few times about this claim/appointment and each time the person was friendly, informative and patient, but unfortunately, it was a little hard for me to understand what they were saying (at times). But, we worked through it and I felt comfortable with outcome at the end of the call.

Calling the company was quick. I did not have to wait for long on the phone. This is extremely very important for me and made me and was the main reasons for leaving Home Shield and switch to Choice. A technician was assigned and he come on time. He was very knowledgeable and gave the right advice. The service was great.

The saleswoman was pushy. Still have not received a contract for one property and you are asking me to fill out a survey before I even have a chance to actually use this warranty. The first email you sent me confirming the "750" stated the wrong amount for the service call that was promised. Was called by Cynthia, an "Account Executive", to welcome me to Choice. She promised to send the missing contract via email. Still don't have it. I am skeptical that I made the right decision. Please prove me wrong. You have by the way already debited my account.

My original email from Choice Home Warranty quoted a $45 service call fee, Saturday I received an email showing that the warranty fee was $75. I asked the technician and he just looked at me and shook his head and said I don't know what the difference is but I did pay the $75 service call fee. I just want to know what the difference is and it should have been mentioned in the beginning. I can't actually respond to the technician's work because he did not have to repair anything. He looked nice and was quiet. I am still interested in knowing what the difference was.

You declined the approval for service as it was not part of the plumbing for the house. We paid for the repair ourselves as the problem needed to be corrected. The contractor arrived on time, reported the preliminary estimated work to be done, but was advised CHW would not approve the work. The contractor was polite and patient and completed the work when we agreed to pay the charge.

The Refrig had to be replaced. The water dispenser had stopped working, it was leaking from the bottom and ice was forming in bottom of freezer floor. Exceeded limit for repairs that were allowed for repairs. Technician was courteous. Able to answer all questions. Replacement was generated in a timely manner through email. Will continue to utilize Choice for my home protection.

Technician from 5 Volt dismantled dryer, cleaned inside and reset unit. The dryer is now working and we are pleased with the response and outcome. Technician also recommended cleaning the exhaust pipe and put us in contact with someone who cleaned the pipe. (I do not believe it had ever been done.) The dryer is now working like new.

My kitchen sink was very slow with draining. The technician from JT Plumbing did a great job. My sink is emptying like a new sink. The tech was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The tech called beforehand and was here when he stated. Choice Home Warranty is the best. I’ve tried other home warranties, but none compares to Choice.

We had a membership for four years and they barely covered anything! You cannot count on CHW especially for an emergency repair. Their representatives should be better trained to give accurate information about a claim. Very disappointed with this company.

When Choice let me know the original technician assigned to snake my laundry room sink drain wasn't available in my area for a week (I googled and saw they're physically located nearly two hours away), I requested the job be reassigned as I needed the problem fixed faster. Choice reassigned it, and within 24 hours when no one else had taken the job, Choice allowed me to start the reimbursement process which allowed me to use Andy ** from Cheap Snake Plumbing, whom I have used before.
He was over the day I called within the hour and fixed the problem. I did receive (unusual I think) a call from the plumber originally tasked with the job, letting me know he felt I had done him wrong, that I should have called him and "worked something out" (his meaning was he could have gotten up to my area faster than a week later... If that was the case why schedule me a week later to begin with but whatever). I told him I didn't know him and his company from Adam and that I wasn't trying to impugn his company. I've had no experience with his company aside from that phone call, so can't vouch for him one way or the other. He might be wonderful for all I know. Andy ** and Cheap Snake, on the other hand, I know to be 100% professional, get the job done and are responsive to the customer's needs.

I called Home Choice Warranty on Wednesday evening. The first agent told me they don’t cover Water Heater then I asked to be transfer to a Manager and she transferred me to another agent. I spoke to this agent and she was helpful but they sent me and email stating they couldn’t find a plumber at this time to try and find one on my own and I would be refunded monies in 30 day. Of course I called back the next day and they told my they found a plumber and he will be out Tuesday. That’s 6 days without hot water. What am I supposed to go to a hotel to get a shower and I asked if I could find a plumber and he told me no that a contractor has already been scheduled. That is unexceptionable!

Shower faucet was leaking. Powell Plumbing was here in two days and fixed it and cleaned everything up. Very professional. We have been very pleased with the service. Derrick ** performed a service on my washer and dryer as requested. The washer had a cycle problem and the dryer had a burning smell while operating. Derrick found that the dryer needed a replacement part. He has ordered the part and will replace that part when it arrives. The service Derrick performed was excellent. Every single time we have we have used the service it has taken way too long to make the repair. For instance 6 weeks for oven repair and it’s still not fixed. There is always an excuse...have to order a part (doesn’t anyone carry any parts at all?), they sent the wrong part, need to get another tech to help, the tech didn’t show up, the excuses go on and on! If I was using the repair companies that Choice uses they would be fired! Also, we were not told that they did not Cover septic system when we started. If we want to cover it this will cost us another $30+ per month and we can’t add it until we have had the device for a year.

We waited 48 hours for Choice to find someone to fix our furnace. When they didn’t, we found a technician. He came, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the part only to have Choice deny our claim even though the part was obviously broken. Will never buy a contract again from this company.

The past claim to repair the dryer (fuse) was Sears, tech was excellent. Requested a new claim for freezer not cold, everything defrosted. I was told not covered, I thought all my appliances was covered under my policy. Not so, will look into another co.

On Thursday I notice my air conditioner was blowing hot air, so I called Choice and on Friday morning a technician was here, He told me what I needed and on Monday another technician took out my motor on my outside blower -he took it to his on site and put in a new motor and brought it back the next day- and he put it back- I was very lucky it was very cool at night-but if it was in August without a air conditioner for 6 days I wouldn't be happy.

Once again I wound up paying for the repairs to my plumbing system out of my own pocket, some lame excuse about corrosion, well PVC doesn't corroded cause it's plastic, just a lie to justify ripping off the loyal customers.

Got an email saying you're going to, "replace" my dishwasher. After that received lowball offer of 180$. Declined that and had to wait 7 days to talk to someone. Talked to person 7 days later that explained your company doesn't match retailers price, you don't match brand, color, or really anything. Got a final offer of 320$. So take my 65$ fee for the tech and subtract that from 320$ for a grand total of 255$ to "replace" my dishwasher. And now I get to wait a month to get paid...what what a scam, I would not recommend your company, will not renew and will take any opportunity to tell others what a scam this is. I'm just glad this "warranty" came with the house, I'd feel like a real sucker if I were the one who purchased it.

Electric water Heater not working and found to be leaking. Rep. from CHW determined Heater needed to be replaced. After report submitted was told Heater not covered because tank was leaking. I feel this "IS" a Major Scam, and cancelled policy, will "Not" do Business with people like this. Rep could not give Me definition of water heater as described in policy, calling Tank "Inside" of Water Heater as a "Holding" Tank, Not Honest Co.
