Technicians gave me a call before he came to my house. Once he got there he was polite and courteous. Fixed the problem immediately. He was very knowledgeable in explaining the situation. Highly recommend this service and Choice Home Warranty.

The master bedroom lights kept tripping and I kept resetting the trip switch. After this happened several times I was reminded by my son-in-law that I had paid for home warranty and so I called Sam ** my Account Representative on 02/09/21. He immediately set up an appointment for a tech to visit me. Rico from Do It All Electrical scheduled an appointment for 02/11/21 and he was on time. He checked it out, replacement was required, he was back on 02/12/21 with the replacement part and my issue was resolved. Kudos to both Sam ** and Rico. Pleased with the service I got from Choice Warranty.

The service was very fast. I had an appointment the day after I called. The technician was polite and knowledgeable. I was very pleased that he came so quickly. There was no hassle when I called. I just told them the problem and they said they would have someone at my home the next day. He called before he arrived and within the time window he told me.

From the time that I submitted my most recent claim, it took 5 days for CHW to locate and dispatch a service company and it took 6 days for the repair. Water leaking the whole time, and I'm not sure for how long before that until I noticed the issue. Repair company was very satisfactory in their work except that they submitted that the issue was due to freezing of the water line which is incorrect as I the line was never frozen and I never in the 15 years at this residence experienced frozen water lines. Since the repair company submitted to CHW that the cause of the leak was due to freezing, CHW refused the claim. I guess that the claim needs to be correctly resubmitted by the the repair company to CHW. First, it is ridiculous that I had to wait for 6 days to finally have the repair made, and secondly, and even more important and even more ridiculous is that CHW denies this claim!

Horrible experience! My claim was rejected outright, immediately, on the phone as the technician explained the system was not functioning. Choice Home Warranty declined to repair, let alone replace. I am not even sure why it was rejected. I am also not sure why I purchased this product, I thought I had some peace of mind, but alas... I got a quick NO COVERAGE.

The technician came within two days. He explained what he did and what he found out. He also answered questions I had about replacement for my AC unit if it is needed. The technician was very knowledgeable about the heater.

Paid up for a year of Choice warranty at a price of $450.00, December 24, 2020. My heater went out in Feb. 2th 2021. Called and they said someone from A &A Heating & Cooling will be calling and setting up an appointment. They came over and found out what the problem was and got it to come on, but said they need to order the part and do not know how long the furnace would stay on. (remember the temps were at 20 degrees). The part came in the following week and the heating A&A Heating called and told me that they would need me to be home that following Thursday. They never showed up! Choice called them and they did not nor could do anything to help! The heating company told me and said they'll be there the next day! The same thing happened! They did not show up again! Then said they would call and set up an appointment on Saturday! A&A Heating did not call to even set up and appointment... And of course they never showed up!
Ask Choice for my refund back and was told that I would receive $116.00 back only! Remember consumers I had an waiting period. I could not put a claim in until the mid January. And when the heating company came in I had to pay $75.00. I am seeing if my bank can pull my money back. Why, I got nothing for my money. Hopefully, there is better home warranty companies out there! Like I told their rep,"word of mouth is a power thing". Sometimes that's all we got!

The young man was very polite, knowledgeable, answered my questions and addressed my concerns. He completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself. I have curious cats and he worked around them. I really appreciated him.

I am a new customer, even though this is my first call they are awesome. The tech was very professional. Unfortunate for me I need another visit, my furnace needs a part. Without heat for a few days but it's the weekend and I understand.

They tell me my furnace was not covered, they told me a different reason than what the tech told me. Sound like the company is trying to find reasons why not to fix my furnace. I am very cold and satisfied with the company.

I am unhappy at the way this claim was handled. I have been with your company (I believe) over ten years. I pay my monthly dues on time and the service fee if necessary. I had the impression that if it can not be fixed, then a replacement is in order. In my opinion, no consideration was given to me and I guess it's time for me to move on and look for another warranty company. Thank you.

Heating system was broken and call the customer service. Waiting time is short and answer my call was quick. Service is nice and helpful, the attitude is great and would love to listen to different voice. I will recommend the Choice home warranty to my friends definitely.

I have had 6 or 7 claims submitted to CHW over the past 18 months or so. Only 2 were not fully covered components. All the others have been handled by CHW and the local technicians they have found to come and perform the repairs. I recommend CHW, they are reliable.

My AC unit was making a terrible noise so I put in a claim and within a short period of time I got an ok and an appointment that same morning. The tech came by around 12:30 pm and was very pleasant. He found the problem and fixed it right then, Thankful it wasn't anything major but he said if left alone without repair I might have had a bigger problem during the hot summer months.

Heat went out called early morning and had it fixed by 1:00 pm. They took care of it quickly., This is the second time I had to use my warranty and both times I was very happy. I had quick response both times.

Choice is committed to do a good job with good customer service. Overall they have done a good job with our claims making sure the job is completed. If the claim is not fixed the first time they will resend the repair person again if less than 30 days then no additional service charge.

Mendez Heating and Air Conditioner was the company that came out for my call. They were courteous, professional, and most important, knowledgeable. They determined the issue right away. I was very impressed with their knowledge. They texted me to remind me of the appointment and called to let me know that they were on their way. Very good company and I would definitely recommend them.

Carlos did an amazing and flawless job. He performed the job in a very professional way and was very accurate. He was knowledgeable. He maintained communication with us to let us know when he would arrive. Carlos submitted the ticket for approval and he came the next day to fix our AC. We could not be more pleased with his service.

I was very disappointed at first because the first scheduled service appointment didn't call or show up during the time stated. After calling Choice, a new service was scheduled and actually showed up before the scheduled time. The serviceman was very polite and diagnosed the problem. I was totally satisfied. I had had CHOICE for years before moving into this house I live in now and was satisfied then so, when I lost my house in a fire, I chose Choice again.

My appointment was set for today between 11am & 3pm. I had phoned the service, left a voice msg. No one called or came. I spent all day home from work for this appointment. I'm not happy with the repair service that didn't happen. Please reschedule for Monday or tomorrow (Saturday.)

My new home warranty will end next month. I saw the commercial w/ George and called. The agent provided excellent customer care and was able to prove the coverage that is needed. I do hope I don't have to use it. It gives me comfort and peace of mind that my home is covered.

The response from Choice was very fast. They scheduled a service visit and he was here in 3 days. He was a bit late coming, 40 minutes, he diagnosed the problem. I was disappointed in the fact that he didn’t repair my dishwasher nor recommend replacement but he did recommend replacement on my stove. I was also disappointed that the replacement amount was low balled. No way could I replace my stove for the amount offered. I didn’t feel like I had much choice if I wanted to feed my family. I am glad I have Choice as it could have been even more expensive without it.

Did not come through with a fix for our furnace! I will not renew with Choice Home Warranty. They also would not replace our on demand water heater- evidently a clause excluding these which we did not see. Though they were quick to respond- no results for our investment!

I must say it was a great experience. I did a new claim over the website and after an hour the technician showed up. I never have to call them multiple times for scheduling etc. Overall it was seamless. Previously also I have used Choice Home but during that time I had some issues with the scheduling and service provider but this time no issues.

I ordered a warranty from (800-814-2534) Ext. 4211 Don ** on Wed 2/10. Don did not email me my policy or invoice as promised. I called Don and emailed him over 2 days and he did not return my call. I called another agent on 2/12/21 who processed my credit card payment and sent me the documents after insulting me saying "you should have gotten the seller to pay more than $600.00". Very unprofessional and insulting.

We ended up having to hire our own plumber after three failed attempts on your part and you all saying we could consider the reimbursable route. That meant that we didn’t have service until 2 weeks after we put in the claim. Some of the companies didn’t even know they were scheduled for an appointment with us until I contacted them. I spent hours on the phone with you all to try to sort things out. Our plumber, from Allen Heating and Air was excellent. Unfortunately the 10 minute approval process you promised led to several hours of delay which was an embarrassing inconvenience. He responded to your text and you acted like he never responded because he didn’t go online. It just wasn’t professional on your part.

Matt was excellent and somewhat knowledgeable about the issue. He had a real concern regarding the issue and took extra steps to try and solve the issue. Parts that should have been covered by the warranty were rejected by Choice, Matt knew the part should be covered because they were essential for the furnace to even work. I would recommend him.

The representatives at Choice Home Warranty were great with scheduling my service appointment to repair my refrigerator. Unfortunately, the service technician that came out the first time had no idea what he was doing, ordered the wrong part and broke the brand new water filter. The second technician now had to order new parts and a new water filter and I am now without water and ice for another week.

My experience with the technician who did the repair was very good. He was on time, he communicated and repaired my refrigerator to my satisfaction. My suggestion for Choice Home Warranty is that in the future, send technicians in the area where the job is to be completed. I have had 2 no shows and lost 2 days waiting for service. I live in Poinciana and would prefer if technicians are dispatched from that area..

I can't comment on the satisfaction level that I have with this experience. You did send out quality men to assess the situation on 2-9, but I have yet to hear what you intend to do about my lack of heat.

I was clearly ready to give up on my refrigerator freezer... It was pumping hot air.. The first call said it would be three days to service but to call the vendor for a better date. I did.. and they came one day earlier. The service provider started and two hours later he had resuscitated my old friend. Now she is pumping cool air again. I was using a different home warranty service before and fired them over the service... and I should tell you... it was service related to this same refrigerator... It worked out for me that I got a better service.. at a lower price... and I will tell my friend who referred me to the other service that she needs to switch to Choice. Happy Customer.
PS I gave the repaiman a big tip for taking good care of my old friend... and not giving up on her.

Electric went out upstairs. The full floor. Tried turning breakers off and on. Didn't work. I called and customer service answered immediately even though message said long wait times. I m a Realtor and have purchased one for my client too. Will continue to do so and recommend.

The tech arrived and diagnosed problem. Friendly and understood problem. Reported that the fan might be iced up and suggested temp up for a few days to see if problem was resolved. Said his visit was good for 30 days and to report if not fixed.

When I joined Choice Home Warranty I researched all other warranty service so by going off review I chose choice home warranty as my go to guy. I really like being a customer to them. I've had trouble with some of my household things. I put in a claim and boom they went right to working on it. When we signed up it stated the hot water was covered. When we had a leak just recently our claim was denied. We were not satisfied with the explanation. It seemed that it was a bait and switch. We were not contacted in a timely manner and we had to track your people down. We have cancelled our service.

Our second trip for our dishwasher repair was cancelled by you. Now we have to wait another two weeks. This is not acceptable. We expected the repairman again today and you cancelled it yesterday. This happens more than it should.

I am happy with the experience, I called to open a claim, they arranged for a Repair Tech to come check my microwave, which fixed quickly. My only complaint would be this: A couple days before my appointment, my house phone rang at 6AM, with an automated recording about my appointment. One minute later, my cell phone rang, another automated message about my appointment. My cell showed the number was from New Jersey, which is 3 hours ahead in time zones, so I get it, it was 9AM there. I go to bed at 1AM, so 6AM is way too early for my phones to be ringing, and it not be an emergency. Other than that, it was great.

Two technicians came and were very polite and professional. They seemed very knowledgeable and discussed what they thought the problem was. I received a call from the lead technician telling me the replacement part was on order and delivery could be more than 2 weeks.

CHW (Consumer Home Warranty) assigned my case to a heating contractor quickly after I reported the problem. A technician arrived the same afternoon. After diagnosing the problem the technician told me he would have to get the part and return the following morning, Saturday. When I heard nothing from him the following morning I called the technician. He told me that he was on the way to pick up the part and would be at my house in an hour and a half at the latest. That was the last I heard from him. He would not return phone calls or text messages.
I called CHW on Monday and reported the issue with the technician and was told they would try to contact him. I told the rep that the temp was in the teens and I needed my heating system fixed ASAP. The rep told me that they would give the technician until Tuesday evening to reply to them. I protested that was not soon enough, but the rep would not budge. Finally, late Tuesday after the technician still had not replied, CHW reassigned my case to another company who came out on Wednesday morning and quickly fixed my heat system.
THE BAD - I believe CHW needs to do a better job of screening contractors and needs to respond more quickly when a report comes from a customer that a contractor is not doing his job appropriately. THE GOOD- CHW did a good job in assigning the second contractor who was as good as the original contractor was bad. They did not require me to pay a second service charge for the second contractor. OVERALL- Satisfied but could have been a better experience.

Only opener was covered. I paid technician $140.00 for the keypad and remote. I'm not sure why I had to pay since it came in the box with the opener. Please look into this & let me know why I had to pay since opener had failed. Thanks Mita.

I have had Choice Warranty on both of my homes. I just extended it again because they do exactly what they say they will do. I go on line, file a claim, and amazingly within a matter of hours I receive an email telling me my claim is being handled by a certain company and what time they will arrive to fix the issue. The time from requesting service to getting service is remarkable. The value is good as I usually ask the gentleman who shows up what that particular service call would have cost if I didn't have Choice and I'm usually shocked.

Yesterday was fabulous. Prior experiences have been horrible. My bad, I forgot that I had warranty and paid for a new furnace myself. Requested some assistance. Denied. Kitchen Range ignitors went bad and was told a new stovetop and then told I would get $350. And when I complained, was told that I would get $450. Take it or leave it. Not replacement for my range. Next. Water heater flooded my kitchen and more and was told it would be almost two weeks before a technician could be here. I could not be without hot water for that long so I had it replaced and kept the water heater until a tech could be here and was told, tough stuff, zero dollars received. So, you can see my frustrations with CHW.

Jon of JMG Mechanical fixed our water heater quickly, and thoroughly explained what was wrong, how he fixed it & what we could expect from our aging appliance. He was very professional & polite. The warranty service itself was a little slow to schedule our service call, so we spent the weekend without hot water. The "rate our service" emails didn't work. The first one, which I tried to fill out immediately upon receipt, said the link was no longer available.

I have been searching, doing some research on this and another company for about 6-7 months. I've been leaning toward this company for many reasons. The rate, coverage and not to mention I found that they were #1. I have been very blessed that I haven't had a lot of issues with things in my home. However, after having some people around me start to have to deal with issues within their homes. I decided that I needed to take action. After speaking with an agent with the company. Lance at Aim High Service and Repairs was awesome - he was very responsive, answered the call really fast and showed up on a SUNDAY to fix my furnace, which broke during single digit temperatures. The job done in my home was unprofessional. The plumber was only interested in doing a 'dash & run' job, i.e getting it done fast, no quality, and rushing off. I would NOT recommend this provider as a partner on the CHOICE team. The showerhead needed to change. All changeable components were in the box.

A few weeks ago I put in a claim stating I had no heat coming out of the vents. Cold air was coming out. Choice sent over a technician that said it was the ignitor and replaced it. Heat worked for few hours and we woke up next morning to cold air coming out of vents again and temperature in house was 45 degrees! It was the coldest few days of the year while this was happening. The technician that had come out happened to call asking how everything was and I advised him not working again. He said he would come back out. He came and said the ignitor should work but the temperature on the unit was also much hotter than it was supposed to be and could be dangerous. He recommended getting whole new system. He left and emailed me a quote for $12,000! I told him that was way too much for me and I would get back to him.
I advised Choice again of the issue and also let them know that my young daughter had just gotten home from the hospital having major brain surgery and we needed heat ASAP! Choice sent another technician who stated the ignitor was not the correct one for the Amana furnace. He tried to get the part but it was backordered since the furnace is pretty old. He tried moving ignitor to a different spot closer to flame as a bottom ceramic piece was also missing. He again got the furnace to make heat but again woke up the next morning and it was freezing again. I called him and asked if he does financing to replace the whole unit and he did not. I contacted Choice AGAIN and they stated they could not get a technician to come for few days. I also have a husband here with Early Onset Alzheimers who was so confused and freaking out about our daughter.
I decided to get recommendations from friends for a legit company on my own. I called Guaranteed Heating and they came that morning and looked over the situation stating they could not get the correct ignitor either with the ceramic bottom piece. He then offered to come out THAT SAME DAY to replace the whole heating and air unit. I was desperate and said YES! He was cheaper than the previous tech and offered more warranties, etc. They came back that day and installed the whole heating & air unit. I have had no issues.
I then contact Choice telling them of my desperate situation and that I would expect the max reimbursement which I'm assuming is $1500. Choice said that was not possible as I needed prior authorization from them (you) before I installed anything. I am so disgusted with Choice. My friend had recommended you awhile back and I paid 3 years up from for this shit coverage. She also has had nothing but problems with CHOICE also. She and I will NEVER recommend Choice to anyone and advise people to NOT NEVER use your services. Even the technicians say you never want to pay for anything! With each claim I put in with Choice there was always an issue. I must say I did have a plumber you sent few days ago and fixed the problem on the first shot! HALLELUJAH!!!! My washing machine went out on a Thursday so I called Choice Home Warranty on Friday and they sent someone within 3 days. The problem was the technician they sent never followed up and it was another week before a new technician came out. This technician did follow up with the company the next day. They were authorized to repair my washer but it will be another 5 days before they can come back out. All in all it was more of a hurry up and wait. So we have been without a washing machine for just over two weeks. I expected nothing more than a week. The best part of the experience is the technicians that work for Choice Home Warranty. Very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Michael's Residential Repair was the group assigned to our issue. They called ahead to give us a specific time, and they were on-time. They were very nice, worked quickly and fixed our plumbing leak (leaking water valve handles under the bathroom sink). They were great to work with, especially in sub-zero temperatures when many other people were experiencing plumbing issue.

I am very happy to say that I once again had a wonderful experience with my Choice Home Warranty Policy. A Technician arrived the following day. He checked my Washer and found the problem. He then ordered the parts he needed and let me know when he had them. We then made an appointment for him to return and repair my washer. It now runs like a new one. Very pleased.

My microwave oven malfunctioned on Monday evening. On Tuesday I called Choice Home Warranty. On Wednesday morning a tech came out, diagnosed the problem, and by Wednesday the claim was settled. The tech was prompt, very polite, and very proficient. In my four years of dealing with Choice Home Warranty, I have found that they are the WORST home warranty company. I do not know how you have them rated as the best. Let me give you a few examples:
2.) My garbage disposal stopped working. The technician arrived, looked at it for a few minutes and said that it was not covered. And I was charged $45.00.
3.) My back bathroom had a slow leak. The technician arrived and worked on it for a while and said that he could not fix it. And I was charged $45.00. When I called Choice Home Warranty back about it, they said that the case was closed.
4.) My sewer line backed up. The technician arrived and unsuccessfully snaked it for a while. He said that he would have to file a report with Choice Home Warranty to get more work done. And he charged me $45.00. I waited over a week with a backed-up sewer line only to find out that Choice Home Warranty had closed the case because they did not cover sewer problems past the foundation of the house.
5.) After the sewer line back up, I discovered a foul smell in the house. The first technician never showed up. After two more weeks the second technician never showed up. After two more weeks a technician showed up and confirmed that there was a foul smell in the house and he would have to file a report with Choice Home Warranty. And I was charged the $45.00. After three more weeks and multiple calls to Choice Home Warranty, they said that it not a blockage and not covered.6.) And the list goes on!!

I called expecting to have to have to try to convince them I needed this help / service. I hadn't even moved into my new home yet and didn't have a lot of information. They took care of my concerns easily, professionally and with only the intent of helping me. In less than a few hours I had an appointment scheduled with a local service and in less than 24 hours it should all be taken care of. Such a relief. I'm very happy with Choice Home Warranty within the first month of buying the policy.

I have had the unfortunate opportunity to be in a contractual agreement with this Co. I have had one good service person out of approximately 6 visits. They typically will tell you that your appliance will be replaced and then give you 160.00 for a 1,000.00 microwave. Another time they wanted to give me 300.00 for a thousand dollar dryer. You see it’s cheaper for them to say...for example, "That 1000.00 microwave cost 450.00 to repair so we will replace that high end microwave with a 169.00 microwave." After hours of fighting with the Co you may get a better offer. I have had some success by complaining. Even then you may get about 50% of the true replacement cost.

Choice Home Warranty was unable to provide a technician so I was to secure my own which I did. The technician came and while here I called to speak with a claim consultant who was not available. I then went to the website which was provided to submit my claim approval which I still have not received a response. I am hoping the cost of my repair is paid according to the Warranty.

It works but every once in a while it completely shuts down and no power. It needs to be taken down, checked and tested. How are we suppose to depend on it to be used. It quit a couple months ago and they replaced a fuse. It hasn't quit working since. If it can't be diagnosed Choice needs to replace it.

I've been a customer of CHW for over three years now and will be for years to come. I can honestly say that the service is only getting better in my experience. I have called in claims at least once a year and sometimes only months apart. I can be at ease knowing that if a problem pops up while I'm traveling one easy phone call get help to my home as quick as the next day. My first two claims are still pending repair since 11/5/20 and 12/23/20 respectively (it's 2/10/21 today). So far, none of the problems have been fixed despite multiple visits. I reported details on CHW website tonight (track claims). Sears technician said on 2/4 the problem is the same as first visit in November. Zatro has not yet tested entire heating system and only partly fixed it. The staff and case manager have been very helpful to their benefit, and hopefully these problems will be resolved soon.

Members since 2017. We have not had to use this warranty but, according to AARP home warranty is a very good idea for retired people. Luke was very nice and informative. Filed a claim on Monday morning, after not being able to get a CALL BACK on either Saturday or Sunday, then had to call back on Wednesday afternoon to find out the status of the Electrical System Claim. I think someone was asleep at the desk, because during this phone call I received an electronic notification of who was going to fix my problem. Guy who came out was friendly, courteous, professional. My issue is Choice Home Warranty. Leaking drain/drain assembly into ceiling apparently is not a covered item even in their most expensive plan. Note, home warranties Aren’t worth anything. Wish I had $65 dollar service fee back and 680 dollars for the plan. What a joke.

We had a leaking toilet and a plumber was onsite within 24 hours of submitting the claim. I was given the option to choose my own plumber and since there have been service delays due to Covid-19, but the response time was quick enough that I didn't need to do that. The technician wore his mask and wasn't bothered by our dogs. Happy to have the toilet fixed!

Choice helped us get our AC unit back up and running, replacing the compressor but not the entire unit, which our contractor (non-Choice) recommended. Choice warranty holders should be aware that the approval/reconciliation process for non-Choice contractors could (and did) take several iterations, so if you're in a hurry to get repairs, please consider this before selecting a non-Choice contractor.

Having the warranty on my appliances offers me a sense of comfort if and when something may need to be repaired. It’s the amount of time it takes to get someone to your home then order the parts, replace, etc.. I’d hate for my heat or air to go out and it takes weeks to fix. It took almost 3 months to resolve an issue with a microwave claim. That is unacceptable.

My recent (and first) claim with Choice Home Warranty to have my kitchen refrigerator repaired (erratic cooling and freezing...sometimes totally inop) was scheduled for over 10 days after originally submitting my claim. I called the claims office again to investigate and was treated very professionally and politely. A new appointment was made; however, it was still over 10 days after my original claim. This was not the responsiveness I was expecting in getting an appliance repaired.

Garage door wasn't working. Set up the claim. Found the busted spring and called to update the claim. Technician gets scheduled for tomorrow. Called the service provider directly and they switch to today per my preference. Told them the spring was broke too. Technician arrives. I pay service fee. He calls in issue and is told it is not covered. Why was it the 3rd person I talked to that had to be the one that tells me it's not covered. After I had already paid. Ended up paying out of pocket to fix. If Choice is going to cover the garage door opener cover the whole system. Partial coverage is poor service. 2 stars for actually processing the claim fairly quickly. Otherwise would of been 1 star. Technician did a great job! Door works perfectly and super smooth now.

I was very pleased both with the promptness of Choice and the the company they chose for us. Jordan was our technician and did a great job in explaining the problem. Part had to be ordered, but we only waited a few days. He had a lot of work that day, but still managed to come to install the part that was needed. Very professional, friendly young man. Only con is the company, Just Better A/C and Heating, gave us a 5-hour window each time. This makes it difficult for busy people or working folks. I've been with Choice Home Warranty for a few years, and have received very good service.

CHW made determination to offer a dollar amount for my claim, which I was told by the claim rep in so many words, “This is all will be allowed on your claim”. I live in a custom built home and I am not going to replace the item in question with cheap, less than what I have because this is all you will give. Now, after having this warranty to cover appliances, I still have to come out of my pocket for my appliance. CHW says, "If we can’t fix it we will replace it." NOT THE CASE. I am totally dissatisfied with this company right now. Been with them over several years, never ran across an adjuster like I just had on my claim.

I was pleased that the service call was scheduled in a timely manner. The technician was nice, respectful of our home and kept his mask on. He submitted the paperwork and request for the part needed timely. Now we are just waiting to hear back on whether or not they can move forward with fixing our washing machine under the service and wait for the return of the technician.

Didn't come at the time he said..came before 1pm when we weren't home instead of 2:30-3:30pm as we were told. But once here about 4:30pm did a great job and fixed the problem and was very courteous and friendly...didn't clean up after his work but dryer works.. Would use him again.

I am very upset with Choice Warranty. They are paying part of my bill but not the whole thing but when I got the contract they said that everything was covered under the warranty. Choice warranty tells me that part of the bill is covered. What is the sense of having a warranty when you only pay for part of the bill.

The service technician arrived early to commence to work. However upon inspection, the technician appraised me that my warranty did not cover ductwork. I appreciated the probity of the technician. He quoted me the price for the repair and I allowed the technician to complete so that I would have heat downstairs in my house. I am thankful it worked.

Nonfunctional board that controls light, water dispenser, & ice dispenser. Filed a claim in October 2020. Tech did not come until Nov, filed claim & it was approved. Tech ordered part but I heard nothing. Called him in Dec & in Jan 2021. He ordered wrong part & reordered. In Feb 2021 I contacted Choice & new claim filed-promptly technician came & assessed problem. I was promptly contacted by Choice that claim was denied due to Freon leak @ rear of fridge & contract does not address rust.
Leak is not my fault but clearly this fridge is not covered by this policy because that will be the reason to deny any claim I have. What if the board just went out. The fridge has another functional board. This is the first experience with a home warranty company but Choice has not served me well. It does have favorable reviews & both techs said it was a good company.

It took 15 days to get a plumber out to repair the problem. Plumber was great, waiting 15 days was terrible. No reason to have to wait that long!!! Contacted Choice 3 times and told Covid causing delay - poor excuse when I know everyone around here is still working.

I have been with Choice for over a year and with no problems. With my dishwasher I was offered $249 to take the place of replacing my dishwasher. Where can you find a dishwasher at that cost? My ceiling fixture was not fixed either. I received a bill instead for $190 because you all do not fix a ballast but replace the who fixture so that is at my cost also. SOoo, these repairs are actually on me though I pay monthly and pay for the service fee for you all to come out and tell me that.. NOT HAPPY. Why have the service when it actually cost me more?

Tony's Plumbing Solutions service man Anton came a day early and was friendly, knowledgeable, fast and neat. He did an excellent job of cleaning up what little mess he made. I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing repaired. We have had Choice Home Warranty for almost a year and have had to use them twice. Very efficient, friendly and are always there by or before appointment.

The technician was absolutely fabulous. Very very respectful in top me a few things I wasn't aware of. The only problem we had with the process of making appointment. NO HARD COPY WARRANTY MAILED TO HOUSE. DID NOT DISCLOSE THIS UNTIL AFTER I BOUGHT THE POLICY! Then even worse when you bring up the email that says copy of warranty it's sent to junk mail and when you press copy it won't copy. You have to read and read and read the whole email to find a link that takes you to a page that you may be able to print a copy if you have a printer? If you go to a copy place you may have to pay up tp $100.00 to have it printed. Then after reading it, it seems different than the information read on the website to buy it.

My technician was at my home twice. Each time he was prompt, communicated well, and repaired the leak. He assured me if there was a further issue he would return. My refrigerator is a built-in. When he returned the second time, he brought a helper. He explained exactly what he was looking for.

I was given a repair date five days out, Feb 5. I sat home all day and finally called the plumber. I was told The date was changed to Monday the 8th. I was told CHW made the appointment date. When I told CHW they said it was the plumber who set the date. So while you two blamed each other I had no hot water for 8 days.

It was fixed quickly and competently. Repair company came within a day of my filing a claim and showed up in the four-hour time frame they said they would. In other words, everything went as planned. Hopefully, it is fixed for good.

I have had good and bad. Recently very poor. The only reason we renewed our policy is our dryer broke the same day we finally got our washer fixed, it took over two months and several phone call to get it fixed.

We spoke to 5 companies after I decided I no longer wanted to keep my plan we have been with for 10 years. They kept raising rates and then they stopped having companies who would come out to service any of our appliances,,, and they took money from my account and then did not have anyone to service or repair our appliance...so we had to do the repair on our own. I am still waiting to be reimbursed. I like what I heard from your employees and I am satisfied with the prices and the coverages. We hope to be a long term customer.

It seemed that once the rep made the sale and got credit card info he couldn't wait to get off the phone even though I was still requesting info verifying things to my satisfaction. I thought it was very rude and made me question my decision about trying your service. I can cancel at any time I was told.

So I called him this morning. Talk to one of the resolution specialist. He said that he was going to have a service call come out because last night my furnace stopped working. I am seven days before my contract starts even though I’ve had issues with this before. He said he was going to get somebody out to take a look at it today free of charge. There’s no notes on my account about this and no one will honor it and I’m very displeased with the company because one person says one thing and another person says there’s another and nobody no Tates your account of what Actions are being taken or what we discussed on the call. This makes me totally want to cancel my account and go with State Farm which I know will come out and fix the issue and not have to have you wait. This is a total inconvenience to my family. I have kids at home and we are going to be in the single digits here in the next couple days. Thanks for stepping up yet again.

He came on Saturday to find the source of the drip, it was not appearing, sent him a photo of drips on Sunday, he returned, found the source and needed to order the part. Made a suggestion to stop the drip until the part appeared. Great temporary solution.

I was satisfied with the approach they made to me. They were running late but did a complete job with checking the hot water heater and explained to me what was happening with the heater and would need to be replaced because a leak inside that would cause the heater to stop working again.

Much of this review is reflective on issues with parts manufacturer and repair personnel. I am an old man living in a rural environment. For fourteen years, I have been trying different home warranties so after I'm gone, my wife can stay in our home. This is written on February 9, 2021. Our dishwasher went out first the first week of November 2020. Repairs were made about a month later by Sears by replacing a part. However that did not solve the problem. For some reason, because the claim had been closed out, I had to make a new claim. Another appliance repair came out and said the bad part was under factory warranty so Choice Home Warranty would have inform LG. This around the first week of January 2021. It is now 9 Feb 2021.
I tried calling Choice Home Warranty but I am told to leave my name, phone number and a brief description of my issue - or file a claim on-line. No response except an email stating to find an appliance repair myself, have them come out, then they call Choice Home Warranty, await for approval. I pay the appliance repair and send Choice Home Warranty the receipt, upon which they will reimburse me less 85.00 copay. This seems to be the industry standard; start off with good service and descend into a reimbursing insurance. That's not the service I was hoping to have. We have a savings account. I could pay for this easily, but I wanted a home warranty where my wife could pick up the phone, make a call and get something fixed.

We recently bought our home in August and purchased our warranty with Choice. Since then we have had to call Choice twice, once for our heater and once for our dishwasher. Both times the technicians that arrived were prompt, effective and customer service was fantastic. We had both issues fixed completely and only had to pay the service fee for each time. It is well worth every single penny! I highly recommend.

I was very disappointed with the inaction of Choice Home warranty to repair my furnace. The reason given for the denial of my claim was that it was that the rust on the system voided the coverage. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. People buy warranties because of the expectation that things will go wrong and equipment will age. Rust is an expectation in a furnace that generates heat and condensation. It seems to me that this clause was created purposely to deny claims to customers. This a very deceitful practice in my opinion.

Toilet was not working. Call Choice. They told me I would have them here on Friday. Called service provider. They said they could be here this afternoon. They called saying they would be in 30 minutes. They got here and did the work. The toilet is working.
