Easy online scheduling. The service company was able to come a day earlier than scheduled. In and out with the full replacement in 1 hour. This was my first service call so my only suggestion would be an email notification once I was scheduled with a link so I can log back in to reply.

With freezing temps our outside unit froze. Our tech, Dan from EMS, was extremely knowledgeable and explained the EM heat, which living in south Texas I had never needed! We have been very happy with Choice Home Warranty and the service they provide as well as the company they used to come out!

Plumber came to fix a leak in the bathroom sink. Was professional and helpful. And he was able to resolve the problem. I appreciated his work and would recommend him again any time. He also showed up on time and wearing a mask, which I appreciate.

Maxim from Ohio Garage Door Repair was prompt actually a day early. Came back first thing the next day to replace our garage door units. Choice Home Warranty made the process very easy as well. I made the phone call and it was taken care of that day!

Service request went smoothly this time without them finding any exclusions in the contract not to fix anything. Overall, They are a scam!!! They never want to fix or repair anything. I've called local news which airs in like 5 major cities. People pay for peace of mind for nothing. At least other people won't get scammed anymore.

The technician handled the situation in a timely manner. He was able to explain the issue and take care of it immediately. CHOICE Home Warranty was very helpful throughout the process. They made the appointment and follows up to ensure we knew items that would be covered by the insurance. It was great to have service available to you.

Happy with outcome but wish service hours were a little more accommodating. Timeline three to eight was a bit late. Missed a day of service because I didn't call back. But number given a cell. Couldnt leave message for the mailbox was forever full.

We called on Tuesday and they said they could come out the following Thursday and we were excuse me our water is leaking all over our basement. Anyway long story short I called again and they sent someone out that day. So that was nice. They took into consideration our situation.

Matthew **, the plumbing technician for Plumbing Rehab, LLC, was great. He arrived on time. He returned the next day with the needed part (a hose). After installing the hose, he discovered that the faucet's spray nozzle was also damaged. He then ordered a replacement spray nozzle online after finding that local supply houses had a 14 day backorder on the nozzle. The nozzle arrived the next day and was installed.

Yes, the outside unit is working, yes it heats, however you are not the ones that are having to go to the garage multiple times to reset the breaker so air/heat will come back on. This isn't one time a day. It is multiple times. It is coming home from out of town to breaker flipped. We pay good money go have it serviced 2x a year to make sure unit has maintenance. We still have cold weather to get through, then we are into the heat season, will be continuing to flip breaker. To say I am disappointed you chose not replace the outside unit is an understatement. This is a tremendous stress to me.

Absolutely the worst home warranty experience I have ever had. 2 claims still not repaired and it has been over 2 weeks. The technicians chosen are not good at all. In fact I am waiting with NO hot water for my family again. The tech did a poor job the first time and less than 5 days it's broken again. HUGE disappointment and waste of money buying this warranty.

I initially made a claim and the turn around time was great. The technician came out and diagnosed my issue with no problem. He was very honest, respectable and compassionate. I really appreciated this because during a pandemic and water issues I really needed a smile. However, now that the problem has been diagnosed I will still have to resolve issues with my roof as it may be a possible leak. I paid $65 for the maintenance fee and still have to dish out more money for a problem that was unresolved due to mother nature. I am very dissatisfied about this matter. Now I will have to deal with a flood until the weather permits for other technicians to come out to my home.

I most never answer calls, especially if I don't know who's calling. But, I'm really glad I did. Because of the content of the conversation. A pleasant person with info about warranty of appliances of the home that can go ** in a second at a very good monthly payments. Was contemplating awhile back. Thanks for the experience. CHW was recommended by the technician that my water heater be replaced due to the pilot going out. Instead of fixing/replacing the water heater (which is why I pay for a service EVERY month) CHW decides to deny my claim stating I haven't taken care of my water heater. And instead of paying them a monthly fee just to deny what needs to be fixed, I’ll cancel my service with them, pay MYSELF a monthly fee in a separate account. That way when my appliances break I will already have the money on hand to fix them instead of going through a third party who just steals my money every month.

I submitted a claim once I noticed I had no water coming from the hot water faucet. I couldn't find a solution so I submitted a claim and immediately received a claim number. After a few hours, the water started running again, so I submitted an update to CHW. It is just a peace of mind to have this service in times like this. Glad I didn't have to use it this time!

We receive a great work even though we are in Houston with this crazy weather that temperature are around 14 to 28 degrees. Job done on 2/172020. Very professional person and more important to me no mess at all. I am being using Choice for about 3 years. No problem at all. Recommend to my sister in South Carolina and she is happy with them to fast service. May some need to wait for a part.

I was assigned a contractor within 24 hours of filing a claim. The company will service my washer on 2/19. I filed my claim on 2/16. I think the response time is reasonable considering the impact of covid, and the inclement weather in the area where l live.

I left American Home Shield after 13 years because they started using fly by night services instead of Hiller and Sears and the other efficient companies used in the past and they began taking 4-7 days to send a technician out and when it's 94 degrees and your air conditioner is out you can't wait too long. I had to pay for hotel room so I could get to work without sweating while getting dressed. Choice has given me a better peace of mind. They were getting with me hours later to set up appointment for the next 24 hours.

The plumber told me you denied to allow him to clear our stopped up line because he had to remove the toilet to do it. I paid him to go ahead and clear the line as it had to be done. I would like to cancel my contract with CHW as I no longer want to pay for this service. I have 2 ground level cleanouts to my home, but the stoppage was within the walls of our home. Please CANCEL my account!!!

I had a claim for a water heater last year. Replacement took over a week and they destroyed my floor. Last week I filed a claim for a leaky toilet and kitchen faucet. They sent a kid who jury-rigged the toilet to flush and refused to fix my kitchen faucet. I do not recommend Choice Home Warranty.

Our plumbing was draining slowly over the weekend when we contacted CHW. It took them until Wednesday to obtain a plumbing service which they said would arrive on Thursday morning. When I called the plumber on Thursday, he was not even aware of the work order and had accepted nothing from CHW. Both he and I contacted CHW, and he (fortunately) worked us into the schedule on Friday, as by the time (almost a full week since the initial call to CHW), the entire house was backed up.

Went on website, placed problem with appliance. Response was immediately. Contact with repair associate. Appliance was fixed next day. Efficiently and quick response. Was a pleasure to work with this company. The repairman was knowledgeable about the problem of the appliance and was able to fix the problem quickly and properly.

There are too many items that are excluded from repair that should be covered. The wait time for a repair person to contact customer is way too long. I waited a couple of weeks for a technician to contact me. Choice notified me that a technician was found and would call me. About a week later, Choice notified me that the technician would not be coming out. I called the technician that was supposed to come out, and he knew nothing about being contacted by Choice. After many emails and calls to Choice, I was notified that I finally was allowed to choose my own technician outside of technicians associated with Choice Home Warranty.
I obtained my own technician. The technician explained that no parts are made for my stove any more, but Choice representatives made it very difficult for the technician requiring him to write part numbers and email them to Choice. I had to pay technician $70 for service call and still had a nonrepairable stove. So, Choice did not have to pay anything for this service technician. The technician had to keep talking to people from Choice, repeatedly stating that parts for my stove are no longer made. Choice made it very inconvenient and stressful for me in dealing with this matter. Choice finally gave me some money toward a new stove.
In another incident, my hot water tank wore out, leaked out water, and did not work. Their technician said tank needed replacing. Choice refused to replace it. I had to argue with Choice representative, and she agreed to pay $200. The replacement cost for me was $1,300. The ads and wording in the contract from Choice claim to replace products when they are not repairable. Based on these experiences, I will not renew my contract with Choice Home Warranty.

My washing machine broke down. I called and did have to wait 1 week to get someone out to my home. Technician was very professional. Needed new pump and controller. Was advised that new parts would take another week+ to get ordered, delivered. Not so happy about that. A few hours later, received a call that machine was being replaced, and what was offered was a low offer, nothing close to what it will now cost me to replace. I had been told that if an item was deemed to be replaced, it would be replaced, offering me less than 1/2 of a replacement cost was a disappointment.

I did not give 5 stars because I want to see how long I have to wait for service and see the quality of service versus calling the appliance company from which I purchased the refrigerator. I have a policy with Choice, and it says covering water heater and heater systems. However, my home warranty reject to cover it. I placed an appeal. They said they'd return in 24 hours with a case management. No call back yet. They don't care.

GFC1 outlet broke due to age and normal wear and tear. Electrician advised me this was not covered under my and I had to pay for the repair $191.00 this included the $65 service call. Electrician said his other home warranty companies do pay for this outlet. I am very unhappy with my very first experience with Choice Home Warranty!

I went to Choice after leaving my previous home warranty provider. So far, it's been an excellent experience, even during extreme weather (it's 2021 and it's been a rough time). Their coverage is comparatively fair, and at least takes a lot of the guesswork or fear out of getting basic work tackled, without having to try and find contractors or parts on my own. It's definitely providing a lot of peace of mind so far.

Technician was wonderful - prompt, knowledgeable, good communicator. We were disappointed in Choice’s decision to go against his recommendation in order to save a few dollars. I spoke with my real estate sales representative who helped resolve the situation. But overall, I am not pleased that I had to resort to that. I refer a lot of customers to Choice and they may not know who to call in a similar situation. I would like to have more confidence that Choice will do the right thing.

Experience was good except when initially we were told by the technician that this repair would not be covered under our warranty. Later the technician called his supervisor and said it is now covered. The technician was proficient and courteous and did the job well. We would recommend Choice Home Warranty to others.

Choice contacted me in less than 24 hours, and they had a technician at my home within a short period of time. The tech was friendly, and professional. I would say my only problem was this. My dishwasher was in reparable so I was offered money towards a new one. The only problem is I have to wait 30 days for the money which make it 30 days of hand washing dishes. Bummer and I think that’s a long time to wait. Imagine if this was a refrigerator or stove you need to replace?

I was happy with the price but had to continually tell the person that I needed to think about and compare plans and didn’t like feeling pressured to decide immediately. He did stop pressuring and I then felt comfortable. Other than that I was happy.

Technician arrived and diagnosed the problem. He said that he would be back the next day with the part to fix the problem. He did not show up or call the next day. A few days went by and then he came back to our house to fix the problem. He comes down out of the attic and tells us that we now need a new water heater and that he cannot do the work for at least another week if it is approved. We will be without hot water for almost two weeks if it is approved. This has been a nightmare and I warn others about Choice Home Warranty. I paid the technician the 65.00 cash payment for the service call and nothing was repaired. Be cautious of who you choose for your home warranty. This company loves to take your money and leave you stranded.

Used them twice, and have a claim in now. Their service people have been very responsive and communicative about arrival times and dates. See Choice rated as the best on many rating sites. Have a 3 year contract. Their claim process online is very easy, and they give you many options along with a description box to indicate the type of service you need.

I decided to go with the Veteran's package deal which sounds really awesome and brought the cost within my budget. I would recommend Phil to anyone to at least with about this product/service.

Whatever is there in the coverage is covered and no questions asked. Best plan that I have ever found. Recommended them to many of my friends. You get a referral bonus too. Good deal all around.

Had to repair heat system at my expense. Other repairs were never completed. Refrigerator still broke. No one came to fix it so I had to replace it. Bought a used one for $300. No use to call if you don't fix anything. Thanks for nothing.

Choice set up an appt immediately on the very first call. The technician came within 2 days and he was very professional and courteous. He explained everything in detail and it was fixed on the same day. They wore gloves and masks and were very clean. The payment of the service fee was also very easy. Hot water heater leaked water. Called and had Choice Warranty send plumbing company who said it could not be repaired. CLAIM DENIED. 1 week later my heat pump went out. Called Choice Warranty and they sent a heating & cooling company out who said it could not be repaired. CLAIM DENIED. Their fine print in their "exclusions" basically reduces their responsibility to not covering ANYTHING that is touted to be claimed a "covered item." I am having to pay out of pocket for these items to be replaced due to Choice Warranty denying the claim.

The person who handled our call was excellent. Great personality, efficient and helpful. However, I feel the company that was chosen for the service was not up to standard. I will give them high marks for promptness and for arriving on time and updating us with arrival time. All good. The problem was we basically paid $60 (the service fee) for nothing. We have had issues with toilets backing up and expected the drains would at least be snaked or something. However, they simply flushed the toilets and then shook their heads when they didn't back up.
Admittedly the problem is intermittent but they offered little feedback to suggest they really knew what they were doing. After I insisted they do SOMETHING, they ran the water in all the taps, toilets and showers and checked to verify the drain was working okay. They told me to "take a video" (LOL) of the toilet flushing if it reoccurred! I just felt the whole process was a waste of time and money and we got NOTHING for it.

Filed a claim to have a plumber come out. Because no one answered call they offered a reimbursement for me to find a technician. I did and the process was very simple. Just need to have a technician willing to fill out the diagnoses online and get an authorization code to proceed. Once that is done they approve it and issue your check within 2-4 weeks. Very happy

Too hard to get service, not a fan of the repair company you send, only had one I trusted (Sears) & they never returned. The last company was rude & inefficient I cancelled them. You seem to have a problem finding quality vendors, I definitely would not recommend Choice warranty.

Contacted Choice to get plumber. Was told someone would call before end of day. After 3 days and no call back, saw e-mail msg to contact local plumber and submit invoice for reimbursement. Nice lady called to tell me I had not followed procedure and therefore would not be reimbursed. Talked to supervisor, "Jersey Girl" and after lengthy discussion about submitting "diagnosis" from plumber for Choice approval before work started, we finally reached satisfactory compromise. Jersey Girl very nice and helpful. However difficult to expect plumber in a bathroom flooded with toilet overflow to go to computer/internet/phone and somehow contact Choice and wait for approval. It was a simple job of cabling 10 ft through toilet bowl on 3 toilets until free flowing. Sorry I missed the details in your procedures for prior approval which I thought applied only to HVAC systems.

It was a nice experience. Larry knew exactly what he was doing and what he needs to fix as soon as he saw it. He heard out the issue very clearly. It was just great and perfect. I would definitely recommend Larry the Plumber. The only reason for giving 4 is due the current conditions of covid I would expect anyone visiting should be having a mask on. That gives a bit of secured feeling to customers. I was wearing the mask entire time he was here and would expect the same. I don't feel comfortable in asking someone to wear it but I guess it should be a responsibility.

We were very happy with the technician. We were not happy that he never came the day they were to be here. They were supposed to have someone here on Monday from 11a - 3p. We waited until 3:20 pm then called. They said they couldn't come and someone would be there the next day. Why didn't someone call us instead of having us wait all day. We were not happy with this at all.

The technician was timely in his visit. He recognized the problem promptly and had one of the appropriate parts in his vehicle. My furnace stopped working last Friday afternoon, I immediately called your company. I had signed up with you last year and hadn't had to use your services. I was mistakenly thinking that your company would actually do the service I signed up for. I then found out that your company does not stand behind anything and does do anything to help repair an issue.
Called repeatedly over Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Saturday the second girl at your company that I spoke to, I told her my schedule for the next week, I work Tuesday and Thursday. The next I heard from CHW, She set up an appointment for the next Tuesday. I had to again call back and reminded the new person who answered the phone, about my work hours. I was then told repeatedly they were "working hard" to find a technician for me. I then proceeded to call repeatedly the remainder of Saturday, then Sunday and then Monday. All this time I had no heat and it remained during the day in single digits temp wise and of course much lower at night.
On Saturday I FOUND a technician, for Tuesday afternoon. When I mentioned that to your people, they said I MAY get reimbursed but they weren't sure. If I have to do the work and you most likely wouldn't reimburse, WHY should anyone pay you? Your company is one of the worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Most but not all of your staff had no idea how to deal with customers on the phone and I got different answers from different people.
I had signed up in January, the renew with your company and I couldn't call fast enough on Monday to make to cancel any additional time with you terrible company. Even then the woman I spoke with. Fatima, told me she would refund my money and put it back on my credit card within 7 to 10 days, which was the first good thing I heard from your company. 5 minutes later I received an email stating the money would be returned in 15 to 30 days, definitely not what Fatima told me. I then called back and spoke to Daisy and she said I should have been told 7 to 10 days, but she did go and expedite my refund.
Why I needed to make to phone calls to get this resolved, I can only say that just the crappy way your company works. Today is Wednesday and the technician I FOUND repaired my furnace in 10 minutes. I plan to call your company today and see about getting my original monies returned to me, if I have to do the work, I should get the money. I will make sure that everyone I know never gets involved with your company.

My water heater went out Friday evening. I called Choice Saturday morning. Buzz Services arrived early Monday afternoon to make the repair. Which he did. The service was outstanding!!! Received an email with the information for the repair, email was received within 30 mins of filing the claim. Received a confirmation email, again provided the information of the business doing the repair. The repairman called to advise when he would arrive. The repairman wore a mask, put in a new garbage disposal and clean up when he was done. From the time I filed the claim to the completion of the repair was less than 24 hours. The sale person who sold us the policy was friendly and called after work hours but everyone else kept calling us during work hours several times a day. When I asked to call me after work hours they said, "We will put you on no contact list," and the person hung up. Very disappointed. Calling people during work hour is disruptive and consideration needs to be taken.

I went online to request assistance. I had an appointment schedule. The technician did not show up. When he was late, I called and was told to keep waiting, and they could not reschedule the appointment or reassign my case to some else. 2 hours later, no tech. I called the 800 number and INDIA said she would issue a credit and send a cancellation - but hung up on me. CANCEL ANY POLICY YOU HAVE FOR ME... PERIOD.. Insurance company is ridiculous. Should have covered my hot water tank. It broke. Regardless of what, how or why it should be covered it broke- I didn't break it or do something negligent. It got old and broke so you will be getting a cancellation from me. I will not recomend Choice to anyone and will go on social media to make everyone I know aware of what a scam this company is.

My latest experience has made me distrust Choice Home Warranty more than any other customer service organization I have interfaced with. Denied claim for 32 year old furnace based on "premature" failure. Refused to provide a copy of the information that was being used to deny my claim. Denied claim last year for my AC unit. This has been the biggest waste of money and time. Contacting the Texas AG as well as law firms. Filing class action suits against Choice.

The response was fast and complete. My heating system stopped blowing out heat. The switch on the inside unit went bad and had to be replaced. The neighbor told my husband what to check and that was it. We put a new switch in and fired the system back up.

Choice provided the guidance I needed to get a contractor to the house and walked me through the claim process. I had to wait 3.5 days to have a technician respond to repair my heating system when the mornings were -3 and -2 in the morning. I had to use portable heater to keep warm. All aspects of this furnace repair went well. Choice was able have a commitment from a repair shop (Uptown Furnace) within several hours, with repair evaluation being conducted in another 24 hours. The process from the time of my calling Choice with my issue to installation of the broken part took around 2.5 days. The contact person at the repair facility was pleasant and helpful and the repair staff were knowledgeable and and wanted to make the repair as rapidly as possible.

I believe I can manually schedule my vendor, and the first caller to claim number ** would not do it. He told me I had to call the Vendor and have them contact CHW. However, second caller was very helpful canceling first claim, to begin a new claim **, including my chosen Vendor (MK Plumbing LLC). I was very pleased how both the second CHW caller and MK Plumbing LLC handled me professionally.

I checked CHW online for what was covered under their warranty. Someone called me to see if I had any questions. Michelle was very courteous and knowledgeable about their coverage. Michelle set me up with a great sale reduction. I am pleased with my payment arrangement. I am so satisfied with the coverage that I chose. It was wonderful working with CHW.

I have submitted three claims to CHW this month, one for the kitchen sink disposal, one for the built-in microwave, and lastly for my home's furnace/heating system. For the disposal, a technician was scheduled for the following day and replaced item. For microwave, a technician was scheduled for the following day and item was repaired.
When I submitted claim for furnace (a much larger, more expensive item), a technician was not scheduled for three full days. When I called to request an earlier appointment (weather is severe and pipes could freeze, not to mention personal health/hypothermia possible during rolling electricity blackouts), but I was told no earlier appointment was available and that CHW is not an "emergency" response company. Wow. Just wow. This when other companies like Milestone Electric are advertising that they will send a technician to fix a furnace problem the same day it is reported. So... why can't CHW do that?
When I asked CHW representative whether I could schedule Milestone Electric to fix my furnace and submit the bill for reimbursement, she said I could not. It seems like CHW is hoping their customers will hire their own repair company if it's an expensive repair, which rather defeats the purpose of having a warranty with Choice Home Warranty. For this and other reasons, I do not recommend CHW.

Choice warranty I have been watching this company for a while checking the rates and what they cover and they called me today and I called him back and I went over what I had already done a quote of and I was given this rate and almost half of what I had thought it was gonna be. The free month is the 13th month of your coverage and the rate was up. Like I said it was almost half of what I thought it was gonna be so I was supposed to get 50% off and a free month which I did. This is something that I really need. A sister and I both are disabled. There is a fee once they come out. If they cannot fix your things they get you a new one equal value and I hope it all works out great because this is something that we really need.

We submitted a Claim and the Company emailed us back two days later for us to find a repairman. The email stated for us to find a repairman, get it repaired and Choice Home will reimburse us. We did that and then Choice Home stated.. "You did not get it pre-approved so we will not reimburse you". Even though we found the repair man because Choice Home could not find one. And...the emailed stated pre-approval is for heating and air not plumbing. We have paid a year in advanced with Choice Home Warranty.. We ask for our money back for the rest of the year. Because they are not holding up to their Warranty agreement.. Choice Home Warranty stated.."You cannot be reimbursed if you cancel". We did not see this information in the contract. When we gave them $510.00 for 1 year. We will never use them again and we will report this to the BBB.

After screws fell to the bottom of oven l later smelled gas, Nicor came out and said I had a carbon monoxide leak that was high and turned off gas and could not use dryer, so I'm purchasing a new stove. Dont know what Choice warranty will be doing but I could not wait for feedback. Need to dry clothes and to cook.

I have no complaints with my service from Choice Warranty. Everything was great from the initial phone call to notifying me a Heating company would be contacting me. I set up an appt with EMS. I waited the next day from 0900-1300 hrs. They did not show up or call to cancel the appt. I called the office and was told the technician called me and cancelled. My phone was on and I did not get a cancellation call, a total waste of my time. I still need a service call, prefer another company.

Ben from Absolute Heating and Air picked up the claim that I made yesterday on a Sunday when we are having emergency winter weather negative wind chill factor and came out and got on the roof where the air conditioner heater unit is and it took him over 2 hours to repair it. The heater was out and blowing nonstop freezing air when I called and made the claim. I highly recommend his dedication and his willingness to go the extra mile.

My original claim was on January 4th. It is now February 15 and I still do not have a working refrigerator. 7 appointments and 5 people later, still no refrigerator. The service provided is absolutely awful. By no means would I ever recommend to any one of my friends.

The Technician was at my house earlier than expected. He figured out the issue and ordered the replacement part so it would be available when he finished his next job. After he finished his other job, he picked up the part and returned to my house to complete the job. He was very courteous and made sure the furnace was working before he left.

Representative from Legit Appliance Repair came on Friday. Said it was gasket around the freezer door. Took it off and glued it back on. Did not want to pull it out from wall even though I said he should. My son came by today and pulled it out to turn off water for ice maker and drinking. He thinks it may be bad condenser. I need someone tomorrow morning because I’ll be gone in afternoon. Let me know.

My faucet was leaking and it was quite easy to get a rep on the phone. I got a call the next day with an appointment and the name and phone number of the contractor. I couldn't make the appointment given, but they were very accommodating and I had no problem rescheduling to fit into my schedule. He came on time, fixed my problem and was masked and very careful.

The problem repeated in different way, but the door won't close again. When the technician came, he only reset the buttons and the closed, but after two days the door was not closing. The root cause should be addressed thoroughly so this issue does not repeat again.

It took three different plumbers. Finally the third plumber fixed it. I was never told by the first two plumbers that I was liable to remove the sheet rock. The third plumber informed me of this. So I being in a wheelchair myself I paid him out of my pocket to take care of this.

After finding out that they don’t cover rusty equipment and mildew on the A/C unit that technician found on the unit on the property we purchase they indicated is not cover. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this company. Purchase insurance at time of purchasing the property rover my unit and 9 months later have a problem with the unit to find out is not cover. I won’t recommend this insurance company to no one.

After technician left, I received email that there was only $40 left for the contract term and I would have to pay $175. Should I not have been told this upfront? Also, another company was here to repair the same toilet in November under CHW and this is the same problem that was not fixed.
Choice Home Warranty provides home warranty service coverage on the systems and appliances listed as ‘INCLUDED’ under the terms of the User Agreement sent to you at purchase.

The technician was great but Choice Warranty is not. Tech came out on Thursday. Have not heard from Choice yet. If you wasn't gonna to do the service you shouldn't have promised. Very congenial lady who helped me with claim on my furnace at a time where N. Tx. has never experienced as cold of temps as we will encounter over the next 4 days/nights. The furnace completely stopped. I have checked my circuit breakers and all are functioning. I need help Sunday as I don’t want to experience frozen water pipes etc w/ temps falling below zero and wind chills of -18 to -22 below zero. Thanks for your help.

Sutton HVAC Service came out on Wednesday February 10th to replace the coils on our HVAC System. The tech was two hours late and never called. Once here, he preceded to the job at hand. At the end of the job he said he couldn’t put the system completely back together because he found a rust spot on the exhaust pipe. He left it incomplete and said he alerted Choice to the issue. After me texting to find out what was the holdup, he stated no one from Choice had responded. My wife reached out to reaches out to you all and was told the exhaust pipe was not covered! So, I went out and purchased the exhaust pipe.
I again connected with Sutton and he said he didn’t realize that choice did not cover this and now he wants to bill me to come back finish his original incomplete job! This absolutely unacceptable!! I can’t get in touch with anyone from Choice so I’m now writing this. It is in the dead of winter and 37 degrees here and my HVAC system is open in the attic and I can’t run my heater!!!!

I think that CHW seems to be a good choice for home warranty contract....My first claim was timely and efficiently handled. All representatives that I talked with were friendly and helpful. Home service tech was knowledgeable and helpful, helped explain the CHW processing of claims...I had just switched from American Home Shield which was my provider for the last 5 years. I am very satisfied with CHW.

Once my technician was a Choice Home Warranty Tech, everything went smooth. Repair was made and choice home warranty paid for repair as advertised. The only hiccup was my technician had a hard time for a while trying to get ahold of choice to authorize repair, but once he did everything was fine.
