The repairman was wonderful! He was kind and did a very fine job of repairing our leak. A wonderful experience! He was on time and got right to work. I would recommend him for sure. His company name is Quick, Fast in a Hurry and it lives up to their reputation.

He was on time. In fact he was slightly early. He wore his mask. He was courteous. Although my microwave was unrepairable due to being old and inability to get replacement parts the technician was helpful and explained the ‘buyout’ procedure to me.

When Sam recognized that I had no hot water at all in the house, she took it upon herself to move me up in priority. Instead of the scheduled service call on Wednesday, she called me to see if I was available on the same day (Monday). Outstanding initiative to help a customer. I’ll recommend her to anyone I know in need of similar repairs.

Dragon Plumbing came out and thought they had it fixed so I paid them and later on that day I put in load of laundry to be washed and when it started to spin out wash water water started coming up out the drain so I had to stop washer and hand wring clothes out then slowly stop and start washer to get water out of washer then ended up having to go to laundromat to do laundry and no one has come back even though I reported that it was not fixed.

Good customer service overall - got same day appointment which was great and Discount AC & Air techs were knowledgeable and friendly. They discussed the issue and explained the work and answered our questions. I appreciated them providing me ETA and keeping me informed before they got there.

Choice Home Warranty had the best price and options for my situation, so that was good. However, the customer service is borderline harassing. When I filled out an initial quote request, I was bombarded by emails, texts and phone calls several times a day and it was overwhelming. That may be good for some, but I didn’t need that much communication, I had done my homework. So if you want more one on one guidance, then this provider is for you.

Awesome service, when I needed them they were on it like a duck on a Junebug. I highly recommend this company. My AC quit working, I called and they got me scheduled quickly. They have very good, polite people when you call. When I made my call it was within the hour I had an appointment for a tech to come out.

I have had to call a few times (locksmith, washer issue and garage door issue) and every time the technicians are knowledgeable, detailed, professional and keep you in the loop. I would get a home warranty next year as well. Look forward to calling you soon!

Excellent. I put in a claim on the evening of Easter Sunday, and within 2 hours you had scheduled a service call for the next morning. The technician was excellent arrived as scheduled and very quickly installed the new disposal. We are very please and the company you sent out was excellent.

I was pleased with the technician, he was on time and seemed very knowledgeable. I was surprised that the repair option was so expensive and pleased that there was a replacement option. After I accepted the replacement cost I looked on Lowe’s website and couldn’t find a replacement washer for the allowed amount. I will have to find a used washer.

I am somewhat satisfied with Choice, It just take so long for the technician to get back in touch with the client especially when you need your appliance repaired. I called CHW because our water heater stopped working the night before Easter Day. I was greeted warmly and assured that my claim would be taken care of asap. Emails were sent to me promptly with a technician contact number provided along with an appointment time. The repairman adjusted his schedule to account for a our scheduled doctor appointment. He arrived the next day and was professional and courteous. Luckily the problem was solved quickly without complication. I was very pleased with my first claim experience because we hold three policies with your company and in the past have been disappointed with home warranty companies. I truly hope that any future claims will be given the same response.

At this time I have no complaints. I have received expedited responses on my claims. I was with another home warranty program prior to Choice and I can honestly say that Choice beats out the competition at customer service, response times and qualified technicians.

I realize that this episode occurred just prior to a holiday weekend, however the length of time it took to not contact a technician; then have me contact my own is totally unacceptable. Technicians should be on prioritized list: that is, the technicians should be preselected and contracted to perform services for CHW as top priority. There should be some compensation to me, the customer, for contacting my own technician--maybe 1/2 the service fee. I asked about this situation when discussing my policy with the salesperson, and they stated that there is a standard list of technicians who are called. Didn't think to ask if CHW customers receive top priority on service calls.

We have had Choice Home Warranty for a year and today I filed my second claim. I haven’t gotten this one set up yet but fully expect to get an email any moment with the appointment details. Last time I used it when my garage door was messed up. The technician was at my house that day and did an excellent job!

Your salesman was very professional, courteous and explain your policies to my satisfaction. Yeah I am, I asked what my policy would cover and how it would benefit me at a reasonable cost. He explained the advantage of longer-term policies compared to shorter term policies which gave me a choice that would fit my needs.

Terrible company. I recently bought a house and the salesmen are frauds. They had me paying $1150 (allegedly for the year) and I was making monthly payments. When I called to pay the balance off early. The lady said the "Con-Man" only sold me a six month policy.

They will never replace any item! It will only be a third of the cost of replacement! Every-time! You will receive an email stating, "Congratulations we decided to replace your item"! Then they will cut you a check for a third of the price of that item!

I actually had 2 appointments in the same day. One was for my washing machine and the other was for my garbage disposal. They figured out what part I needed for my washer and they had it in their van. They installed it and my washer was ready to go! As for the garbage disposal, it was determined that I needed a new one, since the one I had was probably from the sixties. I got a brand new one! Not bad for $60.00...

Choice Home Warranty has been very responsive with the only two claims I have placed. Placing the claim was a little difficult with the representative because he was a little hard to understand from his accent. His English could have been a little better.

I filed a claim that nothing was paid on due to the improper wording by the preliminary service rep who was sent by contractor. The repairs that were done had nothing to do with "Wire Tracing" because then when the actual repair men came they simply checked an outlet and found the outlet to be faulty and needed replacing. Actually two outlets were replaced as well as the breaker that controlled those outlets as all were found to be bad. All or part of this should be covered per this explanation and to avoid further action, please. Thank you and I await your response.

I had Choice Warranty before and after disaster with the current policy owner I went back to Choice with no hesitation. They are veteran and elderly friendly and allow you to put in requests for certain providers if you want to use a specific company.

Company assigned was unreliable, canceled appointments twice, no resolution as of today. It has been 4 days so far. Core electrics was assigned and canceled. Had a previous experience with a past claim for air conditioning repair. Disappointed again!!! Hopefully a resolution will happen soon as possible.

We had a nasty plumbing situation where toilet refuse was clogged, and making its way up into our shower through the drain. We placed the claim, got our time for an appointment the next morning. The plumber called first, was prompt, and spent over 90 minutes with us, doing everything necessary to snake our line and get the issue totally resolved.

Will need company to install new dishwasher upon delivery of new one. Lowe's will deliver but not install the new one which your company has advised me will have to done since old one would take too long to repair. You have advised me that you will be sending Lowe's gift cards in order for me to go and purchase a new dishwasher.

Recently our washing machine stopped pumping water out which rendered the machine unusable for a time. We called Choice Home Warranty and within a reasonable time we were back up and washing! Technician said back of freezer froze up and it would work fine after I defrosted it for a while. It needed a new part which I hope will be installed this coming week and then I can put stuff back in freezer and refrigerator. I really have faith in CHW and would recommend them to anyone wanting a home warranty policy.

My issue is not at all with the service person. It is however with Choice warranty. Usually I am told whenever I call in that whatever I call in for is not covered. This one time that I actually file a claim someone came out. Three weeks later I am still without a range and I have to wait for a gift card from Lowe's. This has taken much longer than expected with no other options.

A tech came out and told me my air Recycler malfunctioned and needed replacing. After speaking with Choice, I was approved to replace it and get my home back to being more comfortable. Great knowledge of the tech and very efficient. Great customer service from Choice.

I informed Choice that our disposal was leaking. They scheduled a repairman in two days. He brought a new unit with him in case the old one could not be repaired. He replaced the unit with a new disposal. Choice paid all costs except our $65 service call fee.

Replaced the dishwasher water shut off valve. He offered to do the Installation of the new dishwasher. Repairman was polite and did a great job, the repairman did a great job and arrived on time. Only negative was that the price was $125.00, I was told it would be less. I thought it was going to be $65.00.

When I called in the Reception was outstanding, standard and was very polite. I was happy to have taken out the home warranty As my oven on the stove burns everything and still does not cook it. My refrigerator the crisper tray I cannot get back in by myself even if it is fixable.

The Water Heater is About 12 yrs old. It is a Gas heater. It developed some leaking problems. Choice Warranty was very prompt in sending a Technician from Phixser Solutions. Problem was resolved with a replacement with a new Water Heater. He was courteous and appeared Knowledgeable. Choice Warranty people made the whole process smooth.

I had a water heater fail in July, 2020, and it was covered for the same problem that I experienced with another water heater in 2021. I was under the same contract and was told the 2nd one was not covered. Last contract I will ever purchase from Choice. It is back to great service at American Home Shield. However, I must commend the technician that was provided.

Every claim I make is either not approved or not able to be done in a timely manner. As the owner of this rental property I cannot wait for repairs made so I have to pay. This latest claim requires me to pay a service call then be informed that it will cost me $500 to $700 to determine if you will cover it. I will be terminating my contract shortly. It definitely does not work for me. We will probably be terminating our other contract also.

I have had my dryer and refrigerator repaired. Even though I eventually replaced my dryer, the technician was on time, professional and explained exactly what needed to happen. My experience with CHW is they do not hold themselves accountable to payout for big items in the home that are covered under warranty. They've always tried to justify why they will not accept claim. It is creates distrust when this occurs, as the whole purpose of having a warranty is to sleep well at night believing my most essential and costly repairs will be taken care of. In the end it cost me double; paying warranty premium and paying for my own repairs. It has now seem significantly senseless to invest in home warranty.

Great service, but had to wait 4 days with nights in the 20’s waiting to get our furnace repaired. Contacted the company, but could not get to us any sooner. Company was about 85 miles from us. Would have thought Choice could have gotten with someone more local. But the technician did great work when he arrived. Got furnace fixed, and am warm now. Overall satisfied.

The technician, Danielle, diagnosed the ice maker problem in an instant, called Claims at Choice and quickly explained exactly what parts were needed to fix the problem. The claim adjuster had several questions which Danielle was able to answer without hesitation. Parts have been ordered. Before leaving, Danielle set a follow up appointment to actually do the repair.

I am waiting 10 months for my ice maker repair. I've paid my deductible 2x because CHW canceled the work order, 2 wrong parts and 4 repairmen later and it's still broken. When I call the #800 I get rude and unhelpful people. I had recommended CHW in the past but I NEVER will again!!!!

I called in Thursday to report a gas leak at my residence, I told them the leak was outside the home. I was informed today that this was not covered. Now I’m stuck with $2700 bill. I wish I was informed of that this type of leak was not covered, I could have asked around for quotes vs being stuck with a service provider of someone else’s choosing.

This company was honest and very knowledgeable. Thinking it was something my warranty did not cover, I called another company who told me it was the garage door opener. I called Choice because I knew it was covered. They sent out Weatherly who told me it was not the opener. They fixed it correctly. They also saw a sensor offline and fixed it. I am very disappointed that I ended up praying $60+$450 Out of pocket. I didn't appreciate not receiving a call or an email from Choice Warranty explaining that I was not covered for this service. I chose your company after a great deal of research. I sign up for year's contract. The representative was pleasant and answered all my questions. I was a bit annoyed by him trying to sell me a renewal contract for several years. After the first offer when I told him I was not in the position financially to pay that amount of money he should have left at that. I have also received two phone calls requesting that I call back regarding my contract. The call yesterday I could not understand the person or the callback number. I call your customer service last night. I asked if they needed further information from me and they said no. I like to be somewhat open minded when it comes to what is covered and not covered when it comes to home warranties. I was told that my shower stem valve had excessive corrosion on it and it would not be covered. What? Do they really expect it to not have corrosion on it. I read my coverage policy, seems like just another way to avoid repairing items. Just bought a 3 year term, and only had it for 6 months. After serious consideration I will be cancelling, and getting another home policy that actually will not avoid making repairs!!!!

He told us he needed to order a part for a full fix and had to get authorization from Choice. Latter that same day, we received an email from Choice that the repair has been approved. Most claims are denied due to fine print exclusionary clauses. Ex: Hot water tank is denied repair due to the tank not being covered. Heating system denied due to it not being cleaned at the time the malfunction occurred. The cost of $1900 to replace a stove is only offered $338 to replace. The cost of $497 to replace a over the stove microwave is only allowed $197. I've never experienced such disappointment from a warranty company in my life. Good riddance!???

The technician called ahead and arrived when scheduled. He was able to replace the pump within less than 1 hour. Very cordial and considerate. He also cleaned the area for the pump to operate more efficiently. I would definitely recommend Buzz Electric in the future.

I put in a claim for my furnace, you sent a person out and you denied my claim saying you didn’t cover valves. Without this valve the furnace won’t function. Now I owe the 65 dollar copay and full amount of repairs. When I asked to discontinue your service, your manager offered to pay 300 of the 517 dollar bill. Better than nothing but the whole situation was not pleasant. Hopefully better next time. (If there is a next time.)

Leak problem not resolved. Plumber told me I needed a new faucet with drain hardware attached. Also I needed to purchase shut-off valve for the sink. I would have to purchase the facet and shutoff hardware and pay someone to replace it. He said CHW would probably not cover for this to be done because there was a buildup on the pipe under the sink. So why am I paying for home warranty if there are loop-holes so the work will not be covered.

I had my garbage disposal was broken and started leaking water under kitchen sink so I went to Choice warranty website, submitted claim online and within 15mins I got a call to confirm that technician is scheduled to walk-in to my house in less than an hour from issue reported. At the end, they replaced my broken garbage disposal unit with a brand new one and I just had to pay copay amount from my choice home warranty policy. Awesome response!!

Fridge repairman was here 2 weeks ago and said he needs parts and will be back in 2, 3 days. Paid for the service call and have not heard from him since. No stars for them yet. A/C man was contacted on Sunday via computer, came by the next morning 15 minutes before he was scheduled for. Inspected the unit, replaced some parts, and was gone in about 30 minutes. And I now understand why the heating company that 'came with the house' doesn't work with home warranty companies: the company is a crook - they only wanted to sell me a new heater. The Choice technician was able to repair the damaged coil in the heater and had the element in his truck (when I had been told that the company no longer made that brand of heater and parts were unavailable). Our claim was denied even though we had HVAC maintenance. Choice Home Warranty denied our claim stating external caused the problem and they would not cover it. Our in home paid annual maintenance have never resulted in warnings that the system is being exposed to external acidic conditions that were causing damage. Each technician who has completed maintenance to our home unit never shared they saw any issues in fact the most recent maintenance done 3-9-21 showed no issue. We have asked Choice Home Warranty to please demonstrate where they external damage from the “external acids” has occurred.
I have photos from the most recent maintenance job on 3-9-21 that show normal wear and tear on a 10 year old system. I have asked for documentation that the coil is damaged from the outside. For example "External pitting" would be visible from the outside if this were the case and our photos from 3/9/21 do not show demonstrate an external damaging agent. The galvanized metal tube sheet shows rust but is consist with the age of the unit. It is normal for galvanized metal in HVAC units to look like this at this age. Coils can leak over time on any unit overtime and the customer has no control over it. I have a facilities manager in our household who is very knowledge when it comes to HVAC systems. He believes this company, like many warranty companies, is just trying not to pay a claim. I have appealed the denial but I am extremely concern about the actions of Choice Home Warranty.

Tech came on time and looks like fixed the issue. Will be using it this weekend. But only complaint was that he left without vacuuming the floor although the cleaner was right there. In future I would recommend that you ask the technician not to leave all the lint right there

The claim process was easy and handled very professionally. My appointment to look at the air conditioner unit was arranged quickly. The technician was on time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He got the unit up and running in short order. Once it was running outside, he checked that it was cooling inside.

I’ve been a Choice Home Warranty subscriber for many years and I am so grateful for them. My dishwasher started making a terrible noise. Within 24hrs I got a response and a service company contacting me in regards for the repair. Choice agreed to pay the estimated fee. I really don't know why someone wouldn’t have choice home warranty

The repair company arranged an appointment within 48 hrs of calling in the claim. The repairman was friendly and knowledgeable and best of all had the parts to fix the problem on the first trip. Hats off to O'Meara Restorations Inc.

Water heater went out...after having to find my own tech/company got it replaced within 4 hours; now waiting for reimbursement from CHW...techs were great...service was terrific and work was done as I expected it to be..Great company..Whitmore Plumbing. Will use them again....

Technician came out concerning AC not cooling properly. Pictures was sent to CHW showing model and serial numbers and I received an e-mail of denial stating Freon was low 10 to 15% and there was a leak. This was not true. Email also stated unit was on the ground and corrosion was found. This also was not true. I feel I was very much unjustly done unfairly by CHW. I will not recommend CHW to any family or friends. I will cancel this warranty contract.

The technician verified appointment by text and phone call. Nick is very courteous and honest. Good communication through the process, follows up with homeowner to review the home warranty company decision. I would highly recommend him for any microwave repairs.

It is simple to raise a warranty using Choice Warranty website portal. Choice Warranty quickly tries to make a appointment with participating technicians for repairs and in a day or two service request is initiated. Before making a claim I would suggest to read the warranty manual as what is covered or not covered and then raise a service request. Or call customer service and check if you can raise a claim. Overall I have used the Choice Warranty for plumbing issues and recently for my dishwasher which was giving a burning smell. As of now overall experience has been good so far with Choice Warranty.

Filed claim and talked to rep at Choice and received good service to have HVAC checked. HVAC contractor was set up for service fast. Filed claim on March 31st after we had our yearly service done by HVAC contractor on March 30th and an issue was found. Contractor coming out this Friday April 2nd to fix issue.

The technician was excellent! He was very personable and friendly. When he saw what was wrong (an extremely dirty filter), I was so embarrassed, but he made me feel so comfortable and he even repaired something that I hadn't reported! He was prompt and very efficient. He went above and beyond the call of duty when he leveled the dryer to help it work better. My wife and I were blessed by him!

Temporary fix of temperature until fan can be replaced. The fan is not operating and needs replacement so upper compartment not cooling. Technician did some adjustments as a temporary fix until the fan can be ordered. He said I would be called with new appointment as soon as the part arrived.

I was really impressed. An appointment was scheduled to fix my heat pump within 2 days. The technician was knowledgeable and came, fixed, and left within 45 minutes. He was courteous and very friendly and adhered to all the Covid protocols.

Tech has been here. Returned before and worked on dryer previously, was familiar with disassembly, and found problem almost immediately. Found that part was in town and retrieved it within an hour and dryer was operational within an hour or so.

Friendly service most of the time and today's rep was very knowledgeable and competent, got my fridge water filtration claim done in minutes. Happy with service, vendors are usually very good. Excellent service call rates. Call volume is NOT HANDLED WELL. Most of time very long hold times and people like me don't like having to put our claims in online.

I’m disappointed with Choice Home Warranty repair representative are not accommodating to clients. You can trace the repair system of this one appliance that has caused my problem with CHW. It’s not fixed after numerous claims for this appliance. I have not been satisfied with representative reasoning why after all the claims for same thing unit has not been replaced.

The agent that set everything up for home was excellent. He was really knowledgeable and very professional. He understood what I wanted and explained everything to me so that I would know what I was getting. My outside unit blade broke off causing the hood of the unit to crack. The tech sent in a claim to have the whole unit replaced because they no longer make the hood for my ac unit. Choice denied the claim immediately after it was sent. When I purchased the warranty I paid in full for 3 years and I asked the rep if my ac broke down would the warranty cover the unit to be fixed or be replaced. He told me yes. If he had said no I would have went with a different company. I was told if it can't be fixed it would be replaced. That was a LIE. I need my ac unit. I live in Texas. Now Choice is playing phone tag with me and has given me a number to call with a ext. Every time I call I'm told a floor supervisor will call me back. It has been 2 days. I do not recommend Choice at all. I'm going to switch to First American warranty instead. They cover ac units and I'm going to have all my friends switch to them too. DO NOT pick Choice as your warranty company.

Paradise Repair came to fix my dryer which was not heating. He found nothing wrong except dryer lint, which he cleaned out. A few days later it didn't heat again, I called Paradise, she set an order to have him come back, but on its own it has started again, keep your fingers crossed.
