Response from CHW was immediate. The repair tech was scheduled and came within 2 days, he identified and explained the problem and promised to call as soon as he had the replacement parts available. First time we have had to use the service and the response from CHW and their repair tech, both, are excellent. Would highly recommend CHW to friends and family.

Informative, knowledgeable. Professional. Tech let me know what was wrong and how long to get parts, clean and efficient home visit. Covid 19 protocols followed. Case manager walked me thru options, extremely helpful and professional. Great experience from initial claim to completion.

I was very impressed with the service. The service was supposed to be at a later date. My phone calls prompted them to have the problem solved much sooner. The service came at around 5 p m and he stayed and fixed the problems.

The tech reached out to let me know he was on the way. He had all equipment with him to rectify the problem and worked hard to do so. My only concern is the time period between the claim being put in and the time of scheduled appointment.

Prompt Overhead Door, LLC was scheduled for the appointment a week out. The technician actually showed up several days earlier and took care of fixing the garage door, which required a new computer board. The technician was nice and took care issue in a timely manner.

Other than cost of contract which seemed high, I am very pleased with customer service and follow up. The $45.00 for each service call is reasonable. (Some other warranty have even higher contract cost and have a $100.00 service call.) My contract will expire in September 202. I will be contacting them again in late summer to see if a new contract will be as good as the last.

Technician responded to service ahead of schedule appointment (very accommodating for me). He ensured that my issue was fixed and free of future problems. Identified issue and made corrections. Choice Warranty has the option to reimburse if your appointment was too long and if you found someone else to respond early. In my case, that was not necessary.

I went on line and completed the new claim submission. Within 30 min, I had a confirmation both on voicemail and email stating that a service technician would be out with 48 hours along with third contact details. I couldn't have expected a quicker response than what was served up.

Call to Choice warranty customer service was handled promptly and efficiently gave me a date and time to expect service. Service technician called and notified he was en route. Service was professional knowledgeable and courteous. Was able to diagnose problem. Had to order parts. Would contact when parts arrived.

Hello Choice Home Warranty Team. Writing briefly about my experience getting my oven repaired. The process of submitting the claim was really quick and easy. And the technician, Mr. Patrick **, was able to come to my house the next business day and make the necessary repairs. He was really nice and efficient also. Roy was EXTREMELY helpful. He not only fixed the problem I was having with my thermostat/furnace, but he explained why it wasn’t working and things to look for if it should stop working again in the future. Renewal went very well with Matt ** being super pro-active and working with me every step of the way. I have had a few issues with exempted issues prior; with the new policy it appears that Choice has improved their policies to cover more and to a better extent.

I liked the price for the home warranty, compared to my old home warranty I'm saving $200. I did not like being pressured into spending $2400 for a VIP plan after I already said I will think about it but didn't want to proceed with the plan today.

The customer service department is outstanding. I had a honor of speaking with Jeana, not only was she a wealth of knowledge but she is what a customer service representative should be everywhere. Jeana went over and beyond in a layman terms way. She never made me feel uncomfortable for asking a question. Jeana had put all fear away. I will continue business with this company as there are so few businesses that truly deserve my review. I hope this helps others make a informed decision. Placed claim; 3 days delay till service man could get there, bought a snake, got the toilet un-stopped. Sent e-mail to Choice with Claim number to cancel. Called Number provided for service, gave them claim number and told them to cancel. They said it would be taken care of. At 1300 pm, service man came to house, we were not there. Sorry. Otherwise, some homes have only one toilet, need a more rapid repair, We have several so no problem, but fixed it anyway. Overall a very sat.; 5 stars. Thanks..

It took three weeks after I reported the problem for the technician to arrive. Once here he quickly evaluated the problem. But now it will take another three to four weeks for you to respond to the order request, order the part, schedule another visit and finally install the new part. To say the least, I am not pleased with the turnaround time. I wonder what will happen if my AC goes out.

I had a bad experience with first tech that was sent. The second tech was a young man who was courteous and helpful. He knew what he was doing and what needed to be done for long term success. I highly recommend CHW tech Palmetto Home Appliance Co.

I submitted a claim and by the end of the day the technician had been there, had the part on his truck, and I was back up and running. I only paid the deductible fee, the rest was covered. What else could I ask for! Loved it.

The service provider was knowledgeable and explained each step during his investigation and solution for the repair. He spelled out timelines from ordering and delivery of parts to the estimated timeline of when he would return to complete the repair. Very professional.

Your service contractors are very slow to respond, react, whatever. And several that you use have very poor ratings. I think you should rethink the contractors you use. The cheapest isn’t always the best way to go. I’ve noticed several that you have sent to my friend's house that has CHW has been people I wouldn’t allow in through my door.

Technician found leak, you declined repair because leak may have been caused by rust or acidity. There are neither of those problems present, the problem two components rubbing together. I have had legal counsel accompanied their technician of choice check it out. That was their determination, I also was a A/C technician for many years. Now what are we going to do, consider this my appeal. My wife requires the temp conditioned very close so she is able to breathe,

I'm awaiting for an answer to the repairs that was recommended to solve the problems with my washer and dryer. I would appreciate it if I can get an answer ASAP. The technician recommended repair or replacement. As of now we have no way of washing and drying our clothes. Please give me an answer. I would not like to go and purchase a washer and dryer and the ones I have can be repaired. Thank you for your response.

Technician called to let me know he was 20 minutes out. He came on time, diagnosed the issue and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Overall it was a good process that I was pleased with. I would recommend this technician to anyone needing appliance repair in the future.

Very disappointed in the decision of Choice to deny my claim to repair or replace the heater, the technician said my hot water heater was gone and needed to be replaced. He sent his findings to Choice, less that 30 secs it was declined, without offering a reason why. I am going to appeal the denial.

My claim was for the AC that frozen up, luckily the weather wasn’t too hot. I claimed on Wednesday night online, and got a service on Friday afternoon. My appointment was between 3pm-8pm from CHW, but when I called the repair company the person I talked to told me that my appointment is between 3pm-5pm which is better. The technician arrived little bit after 3pm, work on the AC, and the AC is back to work. It hasn’t been a week yet, but hopefully no more problem.

Technical was polite, wore a mask and DID fix the leaking refrigerator. However the ice component that goes along with it that I asked about I was told "just turn it on" is a frozen mass.... So now I guess I have to call for yet another technician to come service that? Good grief!

I was not home but my girlfriend said he fixed it fast, and it has not leaked yet. Took CHW over a month to have the appointment happen and I had to make multiple calls between CHW and Professional Plumbing to make sure the appointment actually happened. Had a no show because CHW did not send the necessary paper work to Professional Plumbing.

This is literally the worst heating company ever. It’s been almost a week. This guy has been paid and has yet to fix the damn furnace. This family and their 3 children have been in this apartment freezing waiting for the furnace to be fixed. He doesn’t call & give updates on what the hell is going on etc. I’ve had to call him several times. There are literally heating parts stores everywhere. He and his children should try living without heat as cold as it has been. WTH!!! Worst company ever!!! Drop this company!! He's a scam!!!

My hot water was not as good as it used to be. No volume and low pressure.. The guy came on time. Assessed the problem and told me my out line was very restricted and he replaced it and all is good again. Paid 75.00 for srv call only. No charge for the new line.. Very nice guy too.

I am very disappointed with the outcome. My microwave had to be replaced and was only given $191.00 toward purchasing another one. A new one is $350 and the labor is $180. Choice warranty does not pay for installation. You have to go to a store selected by them. You don’t get a credit card/check to go to a place of your choice. Yes you are right - VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This is the worst company I have ever had to dealt with. Items that should be covered such as gas leak in the plumbing, within the foundations of the home, normal wear and tear on a home built in 1960s, repair of a water gas line and fitting, cap off a leaking pipe. None was covered due to the pipes being old and showing signs of rust. They are under the house? What do they expect? Shiny nice new pipes? There were a couple of fittings that needed to be replace or tightened. This company took my service fee, but again, on a claim from them, they denied it. I have a home under American Home Shield, they called thinking I had them and said of course this was covered. Unfortunately I still have Choice on this home. BIG MISTAKE. I should have cancelled this a long time ago and switched my home to American Home Shield. Terrible service.

Two significant things: 1) When they call, they shouldn't assume that I have the time to take care of business right then & there. I might be busy. 2) I'd like to review the actual policy (fine print) before purchase. It's better to avoid any refund complications and to ensure that I'm not getting scammed. And, "everybody else does it that way" is not good enough.

Used the oven clean option on my Whirlpool oven and my control board burned out. After a discussion with Crystal, my issue was resolved with a replacement of my oven since the cost of repair was too high. Things were handled in a professional way and to my satisfaction.

I put in a claim for my washer to be repaired and this company made the determination to have it replaced but did not offer enough money for the replacement. Their reason is that the offer was at/based on the wholesale price and not retail price and the case officer had the audacity to tell to wait for holiday sales to see if there'll be a price reduction for the washer. My question to you all is what regular consumer out there has the privilege of buying appliances at wholesale price. Your claim process is a sham and I will not be renewing my contract when it ends.

Wanted to cancel my warranty and was told by a resolution manager that I interrupted him and basically was rude with me when I didn’t want to change my mind. I kept telling him I wanted to cancel my policy and he didn’t like the resolution I wanted.

EXCELLENT!!! Extremely professional, knowledgeable of his profession! My drain is clear with no slow drainage, Mr. Ks Plumbing and Drain Cleaning Inc., came to my home assisted the issue, received permission from CHW, began to snake our drain. (I thought that it would be done from the back where I was the water, but our tech said that he had to go in from the front to make sure the entire drain was clear and it is clear.) Yes will recommend to my family and friends.

I like the idea, this is a good program. Technicians are the problem, most of them are good, but also very, very bad, dishonest because they come for one reason: to get customers for unrealistic orders. Choice is great to work with, but you have to be very careful with the company that carries out the repairs. My cost is $ 45, but many times it cost me $ 90 because I've dealt with dishonest technicians who sometimes do more damage than they fix, I have proof.

Called for repair to refrigerator and dryer. Repair visit was scheduled very fast. Repairman was professional and showed what was wrong and how to fix. He ordered part for dryer and will return to replace broken part. He was very knowledgeable about each one and gave suggestions.

He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived within 15 minutes. I was shocked and somewhat skeptical at how young he was when I opened the door! However, my concerns were quickly allayed when I saw how professional he was. He listened to my explanation and correctly diagnosed the problem which was quite different from what I thought it was. He was neat and worked quickly. He checked other parts of the stove then tested the stove to ensure it was working properly. I submitted a claim for my Hot water heater and it was denied. You all stated that it was denied because it was improperly install at first. You all states that the electrical was wired with my dryer. This is incorrect because my heater was wired on a stand alone breaker and your technician that you assigned to my claim can verify this.

Technician was on time and fixed the problem in 1/2 hour. He was professional and figured out why our disposal stopped working, a paper piece of plastic had gotten in it and caused it to stop working. He showed us where the reset button was also.

UPDATED 5/24/21: I was told calls would stop 10-14 days after removing my information... Over a month down the road and still getting calls and texts. Do not get quotes with this company, they do not respect your privacy.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I recommend not contacting them unless you are sure you want to use them. It's been a month since I asked for a quote which is about the same price as the others, and I get 3-5 phone calls a day, plus emails and texts daily to multiple times per day. I have asked to be removed 5 times and cannot get the harassment to stop!

Updated on 04/27/2021: I was informed of the technician arriving on the wrong day. He was great, however, but he never came after finding the age of the appliance and inability to obtain parts. That is not a criticism of him. The offer of money in lieu of repair is reasonable but to be told I would receive a gift card on 30 days is not. I still have in place my previous contract for another year and paid to extend it. However I plan to cancel the extension and revoke the payment for it!
Original Review: Not impressed as after 10 hours have had no response from any tech as to when the problem will be addressed. With a similar company for my house in Arizona a response from repair agency was within a few hours. I did sign up for another 5 years but may likely cancel that if I do not hear by morning!

HORRIBLE. No techs for months, appliances over 5 years old and they wouldnt cover and before covid the service was horrible, take your money and go elsewhere. They dont care and wont fix your appliance, or whatever breaks. I wont renew my contract, and it takes months for anyone to even come out, have to find own person and pay tech, because choice wont pay them for their work that the tech did,, Run run run.

Had to contact Choice Warranty on my energy saver Kenmore Washer. I filled out the on line service request at 9:30 AM and was contacted by 10:00 AM with a service call scheduled. The technician - Jesse - also let us know when he was on his way. Jesse was professional and knowledgable and gave us a detailed explanation of the issue and what was needed to repair our washer and the time frame for completion. On 7 April, your tech rep. diagnosed my dishwasher. The reason it wasn't working was the main electronic "mother board". This part is no longer in production and the tech rep. found ZERO mother boards in circulation. You sent me an email that you were trying to find a "fix" for my dishwasher. I haven't heard back from you except for 4 request of a "survey for your service". Service, the machine is broke, there isn't a part available, so, when can I get my dishwasher replaced.

I wanted to sign up for one year with Choice Warranty. The person who talked to me BULLIED ME and I am still shaking from the experience. So then I told him that I did not want the policy from his company and hung up. Now I get an email saying that I am signed up for one year. I do not want Choice's Home Warranty so cancel that. I did not authorize that for my credit card. I did not sign up for one year. This has been a horrible experience.

This is my first claim and by all means, it went very well. Daystar Door was awesome. I received an appointment for the very next day of putting in a claim for service. The day and time worked out great for me. The tech called to advise me of his approximate arrival time. He had his PPE on. Very friendly, professional and thorough. He explained the reason why my garage door was not operating properly. Showed me the part that had to be replaced causing the malfunction. The tech worked quickly and took the time to make sure everything else was in working order. I was very impressed and appreciative with this tech. I'm very happy and satisfied of the work that was performed. As a result, I would definitely recommend this company along with Choice Home Warranty to others. Our LG Clothes Washer was leaking and did not know what the problem was. We used the selected technician to look at the problem and a water valve was leaking very slowly but was getting to be progressively worse. It took a week to get the part. The job was finished professionally with the leak taken care of. We have always been happy with all the work secured through Choice HomeWarranty.'

The technicians were here and put in the A/C. I am not a technician so I can't say all was done perfectly, but they were neat and cleaned up after the installation. The A/C is working now and hopefully it will continue to work since this warranty doesn't cover rust and since an AC is outside and has water or condensation that can cause rust, I really don't know why your company says they pay for AC repair when you really don't.

Let me say the tech that came out did and outstanding job. The problem I have is it should not take over 2 weeks to get service. There has to be a number of heating and cooling companies in our town or in a city that is only 30 or less miles away. I hope the next time we use them that we have a better experience. I am hoping we don't have to use them again soon. We bought a 5 yr policy. I will reevaluate if we need their services again. Hopefully this was just a one time issue with finding a service company to service Charlotte Mi.

I moved into a new home two weeks ago and found that the pool was underperforming. I had purchased CHW prior to purchasing the home to ensure that I wouldn’t be caught off guard with unexpected issues. However, CHW was no help when I had to use the service for the very first time due to a pool filter issue. They denied the claim due to improper maintenance. Isn’t that why I purchased the coverage prior to moving in? I’m currently appealing the decision but, at this point, I wouldn’t recommend the service based on my experience at this point.

I reported to you that my garbage disposal was not working. A maintenance person, you contacted, came and looked at it. He stated that my contract "DID NOT COVER THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL". The metal grinders do not turn, therefore it does not chew up the food, just tries to push it down the drain.. As a result I have to plunge my sink often to get the clogged food to go down the drain. The garbage disposal makes a loud noise and actually vibrates the sink and counter.

I have Choice Home Warranty for 3 houses. The overall response time of claims are good. Typically a technician is assigned within 24 hours, and repairs are usually completed within a week. However, you are limited to use their technicians and need to wait for approvals from Choice on all repairs (typically within hours). Plumbing seems to be a weak link. I end up hired my own plumber on multiple occasions due to the astronomical price quoted by their plumber that CHOICE only covers a small fraction or unable to wait for their busy plumbers (for zip code 77030). Still, overall, CHW is a good value and it reduces replacement cost if a major appliance is broken down. It typically covers about 1/3 actual cost.

The Technician had to know my compressor was bad when he came out the first time because a week later the AC unit stopped blowing out cool air. Choice Home Warranty had me pay another fee just to have the same rep come back out to fix the compressor a few weeks later.

I loved the technician who worked on the claim for our air conditioning unit. He was professional, thorough, and honest about the issues with the unit. He even explained the issues in terms that we could thoroughly understand. He was also kind and patient in helping us understand why we were having trouble. My issue is with a company that I have been paying premiums for years that decided to deny the claim when I needed their help the most. Like most insurance companies, they "take the dough and then say no." I was naive enough to believe that if I paid my premiums faithfully, I would receive help when I needed it. If necessary, I will work with the technician to replace the item myself.

Choice did not honor warranty and claim indicating the malfunction was due to rust and corrosion, even though the technician’s analysis did not indicate the problem was due to rust or corrosion. Technician analysis indicated malfunction was due to normal wear and tech which is common with Sub Zero refrigerators.

I have a Maytag stove and oven. In the last couple of weeks I noticed that my oven started to only heat up periodically and I started to smell gas. As one who prefers to go over every detail so that everybody understands one another when entering into a new agreement, my only complaint would be is that I found my sales rep to be quick to get off the phone when he knew that the deal was sealed. It almost made me rethink my commitment for the year but I decided to stay with you folks because of the pricing and because you were primarily offering what the competition was offering. I contacted Choice Home Warranty 2 weeks ago concerning my boiler not starting. They scheduled a technician and the technician could not make it to my resident till Sunday April 18, 2021. The technician then notified me at 11:15am central time that he does not work on boilers. I am disappointed that he waited the day before the service to notify me. I am also disappointed that Choice Home Warranty assigned a person that does not work on boilers to service my home. I have been with Choice for several years now. I have 2 properties and it is noted and they have both been serviced at some point and time by Choice. Air conditioner was not rusted in interior only on exterior of unit. Unit needs freon added to unit. Choice said they would not give serviceman ok to check for leak and add freon. Serviceman said that unit was old but needed freon to make it cool.

I started with Choice Warranty a month ago. I put in a work order for my AC and was denied due to it being pre-existing. I looked further into it and shouldn’t have been denied. I searched reviews and they deny 50% of the time. The customer service rep had no information so I spoke with a retention department rep and he made me feel stupid and couldn’t back this claim. I was lied to on the monthly price and was told I was getting a great deal. I wasted $75 plus $80 for monthly fees. I will be cancelling. This company is awful!

John arrived on time and very quickly repaired both of my garage doors. Then he took the time to grease the wheels and inspected the doors and the mechanisms for any other problems. I highly recommend this company if you have problems!

This is the second time this technician has serviced an appliance at my home. He is always timely, professional and very good and diagnosing the issue and resolving it. He always follows up to make sure everything is working after he completes the work. I would accept this technician anytime. No hot water. RWH repaired it and was courteous and called with his arrival time so there was no wait. I appreciated the service and will definitely recommend Choice H.W. to anyone of need. The plumbing company was wonderful and helpful as having no hot water is extremely difficult to work around..

Everything was fine with our communication up until we paid the service call fee and I reached out and left 3 messages to find out what were the failures with our appliances and never got a call back on all three occasions, finally I decided to reach out to the warranty department at which time I found out what the failures were. I just think that it is very unprofessional to ignore your customer's request to call you back with regards to what they found wrong, This is something that should be initiated by the service provider not the customer.

I sent in an online service to Choice for a squealing dryer Monday. That same day the appliance people called and set an appt. for Wed. The appliance people showed up promptly on Wed. morning and in 30 minutes or less it was fixed. My wife is happy.

I was very impressed with the ease of making a claim and the speed that a technician was scheduled. The quality of the technical work was substandard. I should have mentioned it then but all ended fairly well. Now, the same issues have represented.

I’m very disappointed! 1. I called in my issue. And the response I got was that I should look for someone to help me with my heat pump issue. Isn’t that your job? Isn’t that why I pay for this insurance? 2. My heat pump still isn’t fixed. Per the service guy, parts had to be approved before they could be ordered. He said the insurance company would update me. I’ve received no update. I’m very disappointed and I will not be recommending this company to anyone unless things change for the better.

My AC wasn’t working, so sent in a request. Tech came out and needed to do leak test as very little coolant in system. Choice denied the test even though in their denial email they said test was necessary. Then after the test tech needed to fix leak, change hose and add coolant. Choice denied as leaks “caused by rust or corrosion” aren’t covered. There is no rust or corrosion as evidenced on photos sent. Tried calling. Can’t speak to supervisor or case mgr. Only EMAIL. Choice makes is as hard as possible for you to appeal their arbitrary decisions. This way they don’t pay for anything.
In the last 3 years NOT one of my claims was covered. DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY. THEY ARE A RIP OFF. DESIGNED TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOTHING IN RETURN. Ironically they have a person to talk to cancel service just not address any problems. Then the guy wanted to know if there was anything else he could “help” me with. I said no since he hadn’t helped me in the first place.

My initial experience with Choice was very uplifting. The agent I spoke with listen to why I was considering the home warranty after living in my home for eight years, I also told him that I had heard of favorable experiences from home owners to horror stories about their warranty program they had purchased. The agent explained what he could offer. I listen and told him what I could do. My age 75 had a lot to do with my decision. He locked me in on a one year contract and explained to me when it would go into effect. We closed. I received my contract 0nline. I hope I do not have to use this new insurance tool anytime soon. But I feel good that Choice Warranty will cover my needs.

Just purchased a home at the end of last month and decided it would be a good move to get a home warranty for peace of mind. Did some research and Choice Home Warranty came up tops from multiple review sources. I called and was greeted by very courteous service reps who made sure I understood what was covered, which coverages were right for my specific needs, and on top of all that they offered me a tremendous discount for being a Veteran in conjunction with all promotional deals they had going on at the time. Today I called to get a claim started on my garbage disposal not working. I reached an automated service that worked perfectly. It's the best automated service I've ever used as a matter of fact. I then received not only a call stating that they had found someone to come repair but then shortly after I got a call from the plumbers office itself saying they could do it even a day earlier than that. I have been using Choice Home Warranty for years and will continue to do so. I used another type of home warranty insurance and as soon as I had one and since it went South and it took weeks to unravel the mess so I couldn't wait for that to expire and that was years ago and I've been with Choice Home Warranty ever since and have always been treated well.

My dryer was not heating. The repairman was on time, and he quickly identified the issue. He inspected the dryer thoroughly. He recommend that I have the vents cleaned and also checked the electrical outlet. I was very pleased with the service.

Fell way short of expectations. Offered 1/4 of what was needed to replace a broken washing machine. Feel scammed! Told by rep there was no appeal process past them. I will be requesting a refund for the remainder of my warranty. 100% will not renew.

He was awesome. Third time we have had sink looked at for leaking by Choice...and this is the first time it has been actually fixed I think for good. He listened and addressed the real problem vs trying to put a band aid on it. He Made sure sink was working before he left.

The phone sales rep was challenging to work with. Once I agreed to a price and gave him my Credit Card info, he pushed me to sign up for a "senior program" for five years. I told him I wasn't interested and he was very pushy and insistent on telling me the details and what a great bargain it is. Once I firmly told him no, I'm not interested, he essentially hung up on me. I called back, got the same person (I believe he identified himself as "Ralph") and asked him to confirm what I had paid for. He did. It was my first interaction with your company and I must say, it is giving me cause to re-evaluate my decision to go with Choice.

Pleased with prompt response to claims and service scheduled.. Most techs are great.. Many techs seem to search hard for ways to deny claim. Claims adjuster is rude and unbending. Over 5 years I have had good and bad experiences. Many techs have wasted time submitting claims for approval.. Not sure I would renew..

The technician came twice for the dryer. The first time he told me that the ducts need to be cleaned and that choice was not responsible for it. I got someone to clean the ducts. 2nd time did not check but wrote on the ticket that it need to be clean. Informed him to take that out but he refused.

I was experiencing issues from my washer. I called Choice Warranty and they assigned and sent a technician out in a timely fashion. The issue seemed to be resolved but a few days later it started back again. I called Choice Warranty again for them to do a recall visit. The Customer Service Rep did a poor job with meeting my needs. Her presentation and tone could have been a lot better and the wait time for another visit was almost 2 weeks. However, when the head technician came out, he went over and beyond to get everything taken care of! Mr. ** saved the day!

Tech was good. Choice communication was terrible. 1st visit: They had me set up with 2 techs at first and could not get me the info of who was coming and when... Gave me two times to be home waiting. Gave me too large of a window of when the tech would be there. Tech came and was great but had to order part and come back.
2nd visit. Again, gave me huge window on the day of saying when they would be there. I was out of town and asked, can they give me a smaller window and text when they will be there. They said yes. Gave me smaller window. Said they would be there before 3:00. 2:45 no tech... Called and asked and assured they would be there but running late. NO SHOW. Next time morning, said tech will be there between 8:00 and 5:00 JOKE!!! Again, asked for smaller window and text when coming. No response.
I am at work and get text, "tech is on his way". I fly home to meet... Wait for an hour!!! Then call Choice. Twice after 10 min on hold get disconnected. Had to leave so I left note for tech to call so I could let him in by opening the garage. He called said he could not go in without someone there. Had to call someone to run over and meet him. This should not be that hard!!! The tech should be able to give you a 3 hour window of when they will be there, contact the client and let them know when they are on their way and be able to be reached should there be an issue.

Plumber came and said my hot water pressure in kitchen is "GOOD" but he did not compare it to the hot/cold water pressure in bathrooms. Kitchen pressure down 30-40% less than a month ago. I told him it wasn't nearly as good as bathrooms. He said he thought dishwasher not working properly was due to dishwasher and not hot water pressure and he would suggest to Choice an appliance tech should go but obviously he didn't. Will NEVER use or recommend RMP Plumbing and maybe even Choice Warranty. Awful service for $75.

He then informed me of the next steps; he will submit a report to the warranty company and be back in touch. Both the warranty company and the tech contacted me quickly once I submitted the claim. After a bad experience at a previous home, I was leery of having HVAC techs check out issues with my new A/C unit. But, the guys that Choice Home Warranty (CHW) sent out to my home were awesome! They were honest, caring, prompt, friendly, informative, and COMPETENT. I will have no problem calling on them again, if needed. And dealing with CHW was very easy. I submitted a claim for broken attic exhaust fan on 4/13/21. The WO was written up for a 'Ceiling Fan' issue. I called Choice and a new WO was written up for an 'Electrical System' issue. 'Superior Electrical Service' called and left a message that they would be here on 4/23/21; and to call them if I had any questions. I have called Superior on the 14th, 15th, and 16th, and left a message each time to call me. I haven't received a return call as of yet.

Very thankful. The toilet seems to be working properly and is not leaking - the grout is still wet around bottom But thinking/hoping it’s still drying out. The bathroom was left a mess. When asked if they wanted a bucket to collect water while taking it apart they said no and that there shouldn’t be water in trap but lo & behold, started asking for towels and dirty water went all over bathroom. They also got wax from the wax seal everywhere. I stayed up cleaning restroom until 11pm. They also said they couldn’t caulk the toilet because they didn’t have any. Every plumber I know keeps some in their truck... especially when they know they are dealing with toilet issues. They were nice & the job is done.

The company that did the repair was awesome. However, they did take "7 DAYS" to even make it to our home. That is unacceptable. You need more approved companies that can answer these calls more timely. First time we've had to use a home warranty - have had numerous with other homes. So far, good, but not great. Hopefully this was a one-time delay.
