It seems pretty good everything in the beginning. Cause all the companies want to get the business. But it depends that later how would you treat your customers and how prompt you guys are.?. All depend your services. So let's hope for the best.

I don’t think it is fair to deny my claim because this is the first sign of a problem with my hot water heater. I think your warranty program is a flawed and fraud plan and is only good until the first claim.

I was very surprised at the quick response from Choice Home Warranty. I called them Friday, April 30th that my garbage disposal was leaking. They had a technician (S C Jetting) at my home who replaced the garbage disposal on Sunday morning May 2nd. Mr. ** was very professional and quick on replacing the unit.

I reviewed multiple companies and found CHW to have the best coverage, lowest price, and a lower deductible than my current plan. My old plan refused to cover some issues that cost me more than my deductible to get repaired. I am looking forward to your services.

The person who came was friendly. He called to let me know he was on the way. He checked my air conditioner. Said he would have to come back to fix a leak. As of today no word as to when the next appointment is scheduled.

I had a local handy man come to fix leaks in our faucet. He did not turn a valve on to let water into the dishwasher and this was the problem only. Max was here 10 minutes. I paid him 65.00. Thanks for your quick response.

Response time was excellent. I called in the claim @7:45pm and the repair was scheduled for the next day between 11:00 and 3:00. When I contacted the repair company, they were able to give me a more realistic arrival time. Repair person was timely and completed the repair timely. Very please with entire process.

I have not had the opportunity to use the plan yet. When I do, I will give you feedback!!! I cannot express an opinion until I have had the opportunity to put the new contract to use. In the past too many companies have NOT lived up to the contract agreement. I want to see what CHW can do.

Contacted CHW, they submitted a work order. I was contacted by repairman within 36 hours. Furnace was inspected and repaired. I would highly recommend having a home warranty and Choice Home Warranty was timely and efficient. Pleasant and easy to fill out work order, if unable to speak with.

The first company CHW choose never showed up even after two chances. The second company was great, however CHW won’t cover the repairs. CHW failed me for the last time. I will be canceling my contract with Choice Home Warranty since they don’t cover basic problems and offer little to nothing in recompense.

The vendor contacted me after the appointment was set for Saturday. Instead, they were able to send someone the same day I submitted the claim. He was courteous, efficient and provided excellent service. I was very thankful that I had the warranty.

The company sent out a very professional individual to check out my air condition unit. Though was problem was due to a storm, I understand that my problem is not one that is covered under my contract. I still feel that Choice Home Warranty did the best they could due to help with my problem. I would recommend them to my friends.

Customer support is terrible. After the sales team No one's primary language is English, they outsource all calls to what appears to be India. They will find any reason to dispute your claim even though you have proof it wasn't a pre-existing/ personal fault. They won't let you talk to next level after they give you some dumb excuse. They only have paid out for 1 claim of 5 in the last 2+ years. If I weren't moving this year I would definitely look for another company.

He quickly found the air-conditioning problem of a wire that was disconnected on the control board and corrected it. It was wonderful to work with him. When I planned to go into the attic to show him where this air conditioning unit was-he said, "That is not necessary because I'll find it." Really appreciated his work!

We were disappointed with no repair on the washing machine. Also for the last request for repair on dishwasher. The amount you give us will not buy a new appliance for washing machine or dishwasher. We only request you repair as your big predominate caption says. So disappointed.

Dryer problem still exists. First dryer door won’t stay closed due to wear and tear which is not covered based on review. The second problem which should be covered dryer not heating properly and cloths are not drying completely after hour to hour twenty minutes.

The technician was extremely nice and polite, clean, wore a mask, and was very quick and efficient. It was a good experience. He did not have the part, so he went directly to the store to get it and didn’t make us wait until the next day. He made sure everything was put back together and working properly before he left.

Very dissatisfied with appointment time on a weekend, I paid 65 dollars for what the AC Company you all sent, he wasn't able to contact Choice Warranty for permission to install new thermostat cause it was a Saturday, also I don't think he would of made appointment if I hadn't called him to find out if he was going to make appointment.

You sent a technician to my house for a leaking water heater. I had to pay $60.00 for that. Then when I called you back to get the approval for a replacement I was told you don’t cover water heaters. If that’s true then why did you send someone over and charge me for something you don’t even cover?

The Legency Service came April 21-2021 and open the drain and last for one washing and plug up again. I have a 30 day warranty. I have call their office and left name and telephone several time with no response. I need to get get this drain open.

The company after the second attempt to fix the problem, ruled that it was a preexisting issue. I don't agree. This is after they replace a different part that didn't fix the cooling issue. The frig was working at the time of the purchase of the contract.

When I called to place a claim, the agent could not find my policy. She tried using my name and my address. I found that to be frustrating. I, in turn, called my Area rep, Christy **, and she was able to take care of it immediately!

I did not want to enroll in your plan to begin with, I feel as though or I know I was talked into it. I expressed my concerns because of a previous plan I had enrolled in with another protection plan with another company. I was assured Choice was not like this. I even ask about the coverage on older appliances, etc: Now you want to tell me the issue with my hot water heater/hot water was preexisting when it was not. I have never had a problem with this before..
This is wrong, I am 70 years old and this is the main reason I listened to you and accepted your home protection plan. Again I have been taken advantage of. When something goes wrong you pay absolutely nothing and I pay an extra $65.00 for the service call and my claim has been denied. If this is not taking advantage of especially the elderly, I don’t know what else you would call it. And to tell me it was preexisting is totally wrong when as I said I have not ever had a problem. Up until this happened. I had plenty of hot water, now there is no cold water even going to my hot water heater. I’m going to find help from someone because this is nothing less than doing someone wrong and especially at my age. I barely get by and I’m convinced by you that this home protection will protect me if something like this should occur. You have never even sent me the policy I was told you would mail to me? Repair is in-process awaiting parts. So far a technician came for an assessment in the 24 hours following my claim. The technician was very professional and courteous answering all my questions. Now need to see how much time will take for the required parts and fix.

Choice said they would replace my refrigerator and only offered a pittance to replace it. I expected twice as much at least. Not the full replacement value of course, but at least a more reasonable amount.

Best thing you can do is to get rid of the automated system, it doesn't help you with the problems that you are having, and makes it harder to talk to someone you can help, then the person was very hard to talk to.

I logged a repair ticket and within 3 hours there was a contractor response. The contractor was delayed (a previous job held him up), he contacted us immediately and we rescheduled. When the contractor arrived, he promptly addressed the issue. Professional, to the point, and job well done.

The tech you sent was great, on time and honest. The claim was handled fast. The service reps were wonderful and helpful with all of my concerns and the direct contact person explained everything. I would recommend this company to family and friends. I am now waiting on a check from the company at which point I will get another dishwasher.

I checked the box for monthly billing. Instead I get a 600.00 charge on my credit card. I call them and there is no one available for customer service issues. Really disappointed in the snatch and grab. NO ONE available to fix this? I dread the thought of ever needing a claim resolved.

Waiting to hear status of replacement as repairman said the condenser wasn't working and he was unable to get a serial number for freezer. Repairman was prompt, called to let me know he was on his way. Arrived within 15 after the appointment time.

The tech was great but hard to get it. Strong follow up is needed to get the tech but at the end the tech was very professional and very satisfied with the work done. Happy with the problem resolved but Choice Home Warranty. I will recommend home insurance to everyone.

Covers more than other warranties and punctual with sending technicians out. I don't care for the automated but just keep saying operator and you will be transferred to a human. Most of the operators know where to direct you or can find the answers.

Pro Services was wonderful! They called and asked if I was open to an earlier appointment on the same day which I was and they showed up not only on time but fixed my furnace, I couldn't be happier! They were very professional courteous and fast! Very happy with my warranty claim.

The initial request for service was approved pretty quickly. The service person arrived a few days later. He was very pleasant and professional. I thought he would be prepared to fix the running toilet. Instead I was informed he had to provide Choice Warranty pictures of the repairs needed and wait for approval. This approval process took several days. I would have thought a basic repair like the one needed would have been completed on the first visit. I am sure the plumber will do a fine job when he returns.

The technician called right away to tell me they would be out within a two hour frame and was actually at my door within the hour! He was very professional, informative and friendly. He even changed hoses for me to make sure everything was working right. He certainly went above and beyond the "call of duty" when he offered to knock out a couple of tiny wasp nests on my car! After being in a panic over the problem, Choice set my mind at ease.

With a $60 service charge and only $246 pay out toward a new dishwasher. I have $186 toward a replacement dishwasher! Portable Dishwasher's average $600 to $900! Thank you for your generosity! I'm very disappointed and I am going to start looking for a better insurance company!

My recent claim was denied, so I called and discussed with agent. They agreed that it shouldn’t have been denied. They sent it to a case manager to review. They stated they would contact me in 2 hrs. 16 hours later I called back since no one has contacted me by phone or email. The agent I talked to stated the claim was with a case manager and should have been contacted. This agent sent an email to the case manager and gave me the case manager's extension which was invalid when I called. I am overall not happy with the experience as of now. I am attempting to call again to get the correct phone number.

Very easy to report the outage online, an appointment was made by the contractor within 24 hours. I will wait until the contractor has made the correct repair and the air conditioner is up and running. I can't state much more until the unit is repaired.

Our water heater is going out and you do no want to replace it. You take my money every month but when I have a problem you cannot fix it. I will not recommend this company to anyone. I need my water heater replaced. As of today I have not heard from a case manager.

Knew I’d be home alone for a bit, so looked at getting a warranty for peace of mind. I had a good experience with another company, but they didn’t offer a “total home” option. When I was looking to purchase Choice was easy to get a hold of, and assured me that they had excellent coverage even though I explained that some systems were not new-specifically, the heat pump was about 10 years old. Wouldn’t you know it, it stopped working on the hottest day this spring. Nice company came out, took a look. Choice says system is rusted, is not covering ANYTHING. it worked when I bought the policy, I bought a year in advance. Now it stopped working. But not their problem. Of course it’s rusty, it’s been outside 20 years. Do they know rust caused the problem? Could it be recharged? Is anything covered— don’t know because you can’t get a claims person on the phone, only the sales staff is phone available. Go figure... do NOT recommend!

Thoroughly disgusted with Choice past customer service. I had a claim for garbage disposal. The plumber was FANTASTIC!!! However, once the disposal was put in I lost power in 3 outlets of my kitchen. I called to open a new claim for an electrician. I also spoke to Amoi (not sure if she was a supervisor or if she transferred me to one) and was assured that the (after she doublechecked) that Choice would WAIVE my $45 copay. These outlets were fine previously. When the electrician arrived he said it was not waived. I called Choice and was finally told that it would NOT be waived. I'm a senior on limited income and believe I should not be paid for something that happened during the disposal installation. I had nothing to do with the power problem!!! After this and previous other problems with customer service I will NEVER refer Choice to anyone.!

You gave us a minimal amount to try and purchase another one for "$191.00"! Plus you won't even install it! We cancelled AHS (American homeshield) because we thought you were better, plus we bought the extended warranty! Not good! Please call me to discuss this matter. Claim Specialist sent the wrong Technician which was Sears for the problem. I explained that I needed a Plumber. I had to pay a $65.00 deductible. Which I shouldn't have to be responsible for. I'm on a fix income.

I'm very disappointed the warranty doesn't cover freon AC leaks so what exactly does it cover.? I was appreciative they got someone out here so fast due to heat issues. That's very usually for your company per my experiences in the past. I will not renew my contract when it expires.

The technician was great and knowledgeable. However it has taken over a month to get someone to my home to check the microwave out to see if it was repairable. Now I have to wait up to 30 days to get another microwave due to it being unrepairable.

It smelled like the heater was on when the AC kicked on and it took longer for it to cool off but yet the technician checked out the AC and said everything was fine. Still smells like the heater and is less cool when AC kicks on.

When it came to my General Electric stove they didn’t want to pay to fix it but they would rather buy it out but didn’t want to give nowhere near the amount to purchase a new one. So be counce of what type of warranty you purchase.

Great technician. Now if the people at v Choice could get their act together we would have a winning team. He completed the repairs quickly and effectively. I cannot say equally glowing words for the staff at CHW. They obviously need more training. They are rude, uninspired, and locked into dysfunction.

I was called about purchasing a Home Warranty from Choice today and was tricked into agreeing to a one year payment by the sales rep named Andre. If this man asks for your credit card or debit card information be very careful as he will trick you into a one year payment of $495.00 before you realize it. I asked to cancel and was told that it would take 15 to 30 days before a full refund could be credited. I was then turned over to a manager and he spoke to me for over 2 hours and still could not issue an immediate refund. This is not a way to conduct business. Think before agreeing to any payment with this company.

The technician arrived on time. Understood the plumbing problem. Completed the repair satisfactorily and left. Was very courteous and professional during the repair work. Job well done. He had the toilet seal with him, brought it in and was able to fix it, test it, and after successful testing, he explained what was done and left.

This one star review has nothing to do with the gentleman who came to my home per the service call, my issue in this matter is with Choice. The representative they had speaking to my service tech was rude and actually hung up on my service tech as he was attempting to ask a follow up question. Choice has currently denied replacement of my glass cooktop that cracked during cleaning. While I disagree with their decision and am currently appealing it, this one star review is a culmination of the poor representation over the phone to the service tech and the long wait it will take to argue my case is what has earned this a one star review.

The technician that came to repair was great. He was right on time, very knowledgeable and courteous. Technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. The company appears not to respect the recommendations of its vendors. Customer service department was uninformative and unprofessional!. Most services needed are not covered in the contract and therefore only benefit the company and not the customer.

I submitted for a claim for my garage door spring, unfortunately this is not covered under the garage coverage. What is covered is the actual garage door opener component. All, is still great with CW. The claims specialist was professional and friendly.

I recently had the pleasure to interface with one of your exceptional sales associates, Managers. I was hesitant to engage at that time but needed to determine some pricing information and details of the coverage being offered. I did a small online reach out and really didn't expect to receive any timely response. Today this AM: I arrived at my desk and began my day reading emails, there I found a contact email from MR. DON **. It had been sent either late the previous evening or early this morning. I was pleasantly surprised to see the email and eventually opened it. In the email Don had offered a detailed description of 2 different levels of coverage for my home, very simple. Very customer oriented, Easy to assimilate. I read and reread the info he sent and was compelled to contact him at that moment. I sent a new email reply and within 10 minutes he had returned a new email with more info for me.
The info that Don related to me helped me to decide to purchase the policy on my home. I sent another email verifying a couple of things and then I called him. Such a pleasant and professional Person, I explained I was hard of hearing and he worked with me to ensure we had every detail covered. Choice Home Warranty will repair small item things but when it comes to larger items they find a little loophole to not have to repair or replace the item/unit. They are unable to find contractors in areas they service and leave it up to the owners to find and pay for the repairs.

Long story short. My AC wasn't cooling properly, the tech they sent was so professional and knowledgeable. The problems I had wasn't covered at first and I was bummed out about it, but they took a second look and determined that a few things were actually covered. I really should have listened to the reviews that recommended a class action suit against the company. I buy house. It is inspected before I buy it with no issues in the areas I made claims for. They always find excuses Not to cover repairs. When something breaks and you are lucky the cause 'qualified', if they deem the repair expensive, they instead give you cash... but NOT nearly close to what it will cost to replace it! Case in point, I have a current claim where my dishwasher broke. The technicians they sent said the motor needed replacement and it would cost around $413. Choice Home Warranty decided that was too much and they are offering $246 in cash. Installation alone of a new dishwasher costs $189.98 in Best Buy!
The dishwasher replacement for that model (which is discontinued) according to the manufacturer website (GE) is over $600. No matter how many facts I show Choice Home Warranty, they refuse to offer more. They say what they offer is what it would 'cost them' to buy one with similar features. I asked for them to buy it for me then, but they 'don't do that'. I asked for them to show me proof that's what it would cost them and they said that's internal information. There's NO WAY I can get a dishwasher with similar features and get it installed for that amount.
Before Choice Home Warranty, I was with Landmark and when something broke and couldn't be fixed, they would get a new appliance and would cover the cost to get it delivered and installed. Now, that's what I would expect from a Warranty company. Don't get fooled by the low policy price Choice Home Warranty might offer. You will Not get your money back. I read awful reviews before hiring them, but after talking to a sales rep and voicing my concerns, they supposedly added exceptions to my particular contract so I wouldn't have issues... That was totally Not the case. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money here.

The first tech. (Billy) said it was a compressor issue, but could not work on a sealed unit, so we had to defer to someone else who could work on a sealed unit. Professional Appliance repair then tried John Appliance (10 May appt.) then we got a message for county refrigeration. They could show up on 4 May. Since the beginning I had a suggestion of a company that could do the work right away and it was a non issue because they were not in your network. I suggested you should get this company. Finally Choice warranty gave me the option to have Professional Appliance repair do the work outside of the network. Here is where we are. Professional Appliance repair responded same day (29 Apr) diagnosed and we are awaiting final diagnosis and parts.

This is my first experience with a home warranty contract, and we are clearly disappointed. The refrigerator claim took two weeks before you scheduled the repair. The Sears technician was great but only had one of the two necessary parts. Needs approval from you for second but this has taken a week and daily phone calls to get you to release. No idea in when part will arrive or get installed. Your people are nice but your processes are poor. The second claim was for a microwave which moved more quickly and resulted in a decision to replace. The replacement offer falls well short of cost to buy similar new one. The appeal process is one sided. Again the rep was pleasant and well taught but the offer clearly falls short of your advertising about covering the repair & replacement cost. Your fine print covers your debate but has left left very soured on your warranty. Your next customer depends on the contentment of your current customers.

I have used a competitor for my residential service policy for the past 5 plus years. My first claim was last year, when both ovens stopped working. The first service person that they sent was more interested in telling me how my AC thermostat was not good. (Probably the best that anyone can buy.) I would not trust the guy with anything and he basically said the ovens could not be fixed, After a very long discussion, with numerous people, the company sent someone else out. From that point on, it took about two months for the repair. I just purchased this plan, so hopefully it will prove to be better. I was very impressed with their agent.

They did not cover the expense of repair saying it was not regular wear and tear. The cost $2870. I appealed and never heard another word from them. Now I have a refrigerator on the brink. I'm waiting. I haven't gotten a phone call about the refrigerator. Everything was bought at the same time so all is breaking at same time. I will stay with them a little longer. Give them a chance to redeem themselves. I had no trouble when the washer went out.

Sunday: I entered a claim at 11PM using their online system. I received an acknowledgment email a few minutes later. Monday: I received an appointment email from CHW detailing information about the plumber and the service call. I accepted. Tuesday: A very thorough plumber assessed the problem and discussed the solution with CHW. His solution was approved that same day. When the plumber returned to take measurements, I was delightedly surprised to learn of the decision as it was an expensive solution. Wednesday: The same plumber showed up with new appliances and installed them. I am a happy camper.

Everything is a hassle with this company. Took over a month to get a cost estimate from 3 different technicians they sent. Then when they finally had the work estimate they low ball me on replacement costs for the dishwasher. $240 towards replacing??? That barely even covers the cost of the cord and hoses that I would need much less a new dishwasher in today's costs.

The technician was great, he explained the problem. AC compressors can go out at any time and leak Freon. Choice warranty then denied it despite me paying for the premium plan. Your salesman said everything in my AC would be covered. I have lived in this house for 2 years with no issues. I would not recommend Choice warranty to my friends. The plumber (John) was very well prepared to solve the problem. I would highly recommend him. He was prompt and cleaned -up. John also explained why this occurred. Other than the flood, it was nice to meet John.

Choice Home Warranty denied my claim on my refrigerator, stating that since there was a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer. They would not honor our contract to repair my refrigerator. Nowhere in my contract with choice home warranty does it state they can deny my claim because of this.

Yes I was sick and tired of paying out for home appliance coverage When I was continually had to dig deep into my pocket For funds. A retired person living on a budget it can be challenging. Leo locked me into a 3 year agreement and promises me my rates were grandfathered in. I was sold all the coverage I need plus a lower house call payout. WOW! ON TOP OF THAT THE LARGE SUM PAYOUT UP FRONT WAS BROKEN DOWN FOR ME TO 3 EASY PAYMENTS. I AM HAPPY!!!!

My appointment was set for the next day. The appointment was from 11 to 3. He called at 10 till 11 and a ride shortly thereafter. He was knowledgeable and had the issue fixed within 30 to 45 minutes. The entire process with Choice Home Warranty and the AC service was quick and easy and I appreciate it.

This is a great service to have, Choice responds quickly and cover everything they say they are. I have had two claims with them and it was great both times. They fixed the problem with my AC the first time and are currently working on replacing my AC unit inside and out. I will be a customer for life!!

Have no knowledge of fixing appliance in the house. Home warranty takes care of that for me. Very pleased with the services they provide. The employed help are willing to answer any questions of concern you have. They connect with you in 24 hours or less to set up your appt. I have the total plan which covers all my household needs.

Did great job at a fair price. After fixing initial problem made some minor adjustments to make garage door work more smoothly. Was very good at explaining everything he was doing and even though it took longer to make these adjustments he still only charged what he gave us the quote for.

Washer quit spinning so I turned in a claim. The tech came out 2 weeks later and checked it out and said the tub was rusted... He took pics and turned it back over to the claim area and they emailed me that the claim was denied... I am not very happy with Choice Home Warranty.

I was advised to contact the case manager regarding my claim. I've left several messages for Ms. ** and sent emails and cannot get a response or a phone call back. I'm very disappointed about how I'm being treated and my refrigerator is leaking.

Bad. Bad. Bad. A broken fan is a covered repair for an HVAC system unless you are insured by Choice Home Warranty. The technician advised us that these repairs were common and were covered by the warranty. But CHW refuses to pay for the repair. The technician has no reason to lie. CHW will not do repairs to keep money. A lot like medical insurance that refuse to pay for legitimate procedures of care.

My refrigerator was producing no water or ice at all. Onsite repair came the very next day and called, when they were on their way. They readjusted some controls, I think, and fixed it without a big deal. As far as I know, they did not require any parts or equipment.

I can not remember the representative who helped me but he was awesome, went above and beyond to assist me, offered other plans but unfortunate I was not able to take advantage of the offer. After having been told by Choice, I would have to wait 5 days for a plumber, Mr. ** called 3 days before he had been scheduled to do the repair. He was professional, pleasant and very punctual. Always a struggle to get service. NEVER get a replacement of equal value/quality. Most vendors do not want to do business with them because they nickel and dime every job. Worst home warranty I’ve ever purchased! I recommend you stay clear of this company!

My washer burned and literally had dark smoke coming out of it, glad it didn’t caught fire. That was Friday night, I entered online request Saturday morning and got an appointment for Tuesday and by the end of the day I got a promised Lowe’s gift card to replace my washer. Not the right amount I would wish but it’s helpful enough to replace my old washer.

The dishwasher is a black Stainless Steel top of the line Kitchen Aid and CANNOT be replaced for the lowball offer of $296. I have had Choice warranty for many years and the main reason I have Choice is the area manager.....Christy **. I am a real-estate broker and order many warranties solely because of Christy. This replacement offer is insulting and I would be embarrassed if one of my real estate clients received such an offer.

After three providers and many calls to Choice finally one came out. The first two providers did not show up, did not call to cancel or confirm to reschedule. When speaking with a Choice representative she reprimanded me for opening another claim after the first two were non responsive!!

I had a great experience. The plumbing company communicated well, and contacted me with a more narrow window than was initially given by Choice. They arrived on time and were quickly able to fix my plumbing issue. The plumber even checked my water pressure as he was concerned that it was too high. I highly recommend.

I'm am very displeased with CHW! First off it took nearly 24 hours for a service representative to contact me for service. The service tech was good but CHW is trying to back out on their promise of service. They are trying to say that a hot water heater is a water holding tank and that is not covered in the policy. CHW advertises that if they can't fix the appliance being serviced they will replace it. This is not an arbitrary "water holding tank", it is a necessary appliance that every home in the US needs.
I feel that at the end of my contract period I will drop my dealings with CHW. I also paid for the five year contract and paid the higher coverage option because of the promises made that sounded reliable. But now seeing how CHW intends to weasel out of their deal by trying to split hairs so they won't have to pay for the needed repair, I will either do without a home appliance warranty or find some other company that will honor their word. I will not want to deal with this type of behavior that CHW is displaying in the future.

I do not like talking to a robot who cannot understand English. The actual work is great, but your phone system is awful. Anyway I probably will not renew and I have two policies. Just too hard to negotiate your phone system.

I had a problem with a dryer that is covered under another protection plan, which we purchased when we bought the appliance. I called "this other company" and they told me that it would take a week to get someone to repair the problem. They then called again stating their technician had an emergency leave and wasn't able to get out for another week. This is a high end store telling me they have ONE technician. I submitted a request to Choice Home Warranty and we had a technician out that same day to repair the dryer problem repeat that same day that I submitted the request. Choice is easy to deal with and obviously customer centric and has a lot of resources to help with issues.

The representative was helpful at first and then started being very pushy trying to get me to switch from monthly payment to an annual payment. It was very uncomfortable because financially I couldn't do annually even though I wanted to and he ended up making me feel bad.

In short, Choice Warranty use cheap contractors and don't care if your issue solved or not. The first time they replaced my faucet and it leaks the next day. I called my warranty (Choice) and scheduled again. The guy showed up early and I wasn't at home, he "checked" and claimed no leaks. That night it leaks again, so I called choice again and scheduled for today at 4-6pm. He showed up at 1pm. I wasn't at home, my wife doesn't know what/where exactly is leaking, so she told him to come back at the scheduled time. He said "ok". Now it's 7 pm. I tried to let them use another contractor, but they refused. I wish them good luck, but would never recommend using them. I think Choice only use low-cost, irresponsible companies and never care if your issue is really solved or not. I'm still contacting them, but I will seek to solve my problems on my own.

I have proof of proper maintenance of our gas heat system. After 23 years our furnace just wore out. We filed a claim but were denied. I have the past two years maintenance invoices which mention the furnace was working properly but the most recent one Oct. 2030 states signs of normal wear and would soon need replacement. My husband snd I are in our mid and upper 70’s and that is why we purchased the home warranty. Had been very pleased with previous interaction with your staff. I will be reporting this to BBB and have many contacts with associates and acquaintances I know from my 43 years as a full time Realtor.

The electrical repairman was very thorough and diligent in finding the problem that has plagued this room's electrical breakdowns for months. He found the latest problem and fixed it. Gave us some confidence that this room would stop tripping the breaker. He was very polite and friendly.

The salesperson seemed to be very knowledgeable and offered many alternative contract financial arrangements. He was persistent but at my age, I am reluctant to lock into a long term deal, especially since I do not know whether I will be satisfied with repair services or response times. My only complaint is the cost of plans and/or the requirement to pay annually in advance rather than on a more friendly monthly basis.

Choice Home Warranty resolved the issue with my defective dishwasher as it was determined that it was inspected prior to the closing on the house. The inspection report did show there was some issues with the dishwasher, but it was determined that the inspector could not determine that the dishwasher was beyond repair. Choice Home Warranty has agreed to a partial payout for a replacement. This receives a 5-star rating from me, thanks!

Moved in new residence 1 week ago. Found out dishwasher does not clean/work, claim denied! "It has been determined that the filter basket, detergent dispenser and the lower/middle spray arms are physically broken due to excessive oil and grease build-up and will require replacement. This is not considered normal wear and tear as the filter basket, detergent dispenser, and lower/middle spray arms are non-mechanical, non-moving components that should not become physically damaged or broken resulting from excessive grease build-up under normal operating conditions." So, $580 for a warranty that covers nothing!
