    Toilet is still leaking after flapper and chain were replaced. The gentleman who came to fix it was very amiable and polite. Nothing against him, but I don't think it should still be leaking and refilling every 20 minutes. He fixed another toilet (same problem) and it seems to be OK.     The contractor was very professional. I am confused because I was denied for an inoperable compressor by Choice??? I pay faithfully for a home warranty. A non-working air-conditioner is not a part? I have a new born and an elderly mother living here. I have respiratory problems and is it or is it not detrimental. That's why I picked this home warranty due to negative reviews from others. I guess I picked the wrong one. Even though church members were pleased and now shocked when I told them I was denied. I picked them because of their ratings and recommendations. Now I am afraid if something else goes out to call. Now I am awaiting for their appeal representative to contact me. What's a home warranty for???.

    I am so disappointed with Choice. I have a dishwasher repair request and they have not assigned a technician up to this point. It has been a week. I have called and posted messages to them online and they still have been unable to get someone assigned. Then they offer reimbursement option but no independent technician wants to follow their guidelines so one else is willing to the prior approval process so either I pay to have it fixed and not get reimbursed or wait till these people find someone. I bought a 5 year policy for more than $4000 dollars and they can’t get this one thing right.

    Spent $45 to have a repair service come out and tell why the microwave was not heating. Repair service was sure Choice would fix the problem. Instead, they choose not to repair or replace but to tell I'd be better off with a new microwave. Offered a small stipend to cover my costs of taking care of the problem by myself. Not why I pay them a yearly fee but typical of the company. Useless!

    First I would like to say The Appliance Plus Owner/Tech was great so I would give you a 5 star on Rich. The Issue was with the first two plumbers that you picked. The first was supposed to be at the house between 7:00 and 11:00, when he didn't show by 12:45 I called CHW and told you to get another plumber so I guess he got the message and called me at 1:15 to tell me he was still 2 hours away. The second one call me on Sunday afternoon, came over took a picture of each asked for the check and said he be back on Tuesday.

    Well that didn't happen so I called and was told that he would be here on Friday. I called him Friday morning to get an ETA. I got a text message telling me not to call him all day long and when he didn't show by 5:00 pm I had enough with him and CHW. The third plumber was great on time and even came back 2 days later to replace a rubber washer. So I would give you a 3 stars on that call.

    My contract is due to expire in August and this is the first time Choice Home Warranty did not try to lowball, weasel out of the contract requirements. Ignore the claim or just out and out lie. I have made claims in the past. A total of 3 that I can remember in six years. One time I had to threaten to file a complaint with Real Estate Commission to get them to honor the contract.     The company you sent out Landrum Environmental were very professional. I had a leak in the air cond. coil. Your solution was to put a sealant in the line. We both know that will not last. I paid for a full coverage service. The sealant is like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound. Then you pulled a sneaky trick, said that there was rust so you won't replace the coil. The coil is the heart of the air cond. So why did you take my money for the air cond. if you won't fix the problem. I will not recommend your company to anyone. I am sending a letter to my state A.G. to see if they can check into the way you cheat your policy holders.

    Very poor service. After waiting 2 days the contractor was not authorized to do the work. Choice Home Warranty promised to contact me. Almost 24 hours later, I called CHW to find out what was happening and was told I had to pay an additional 200.65 for uncovered parts. I agreed to paying the amount and I was told that I should call Sears and make an appointment, Sears said I am not permitted to do so. So I am still without a refrigerator to use. CHW was notified of what Sears said and they have not replied. WORST Warranty company.

    Just had our A.C. system served on 3/19/2021, Technician said everything was in good working working order.... Suggested we get a new thermostat since ours was pretty old.... Just had our entire A.C. system replace two years ago also, all PARTS are covered by a 10 year warranty since installation, and you're saying you will not cover my A.C. claim because it was it proper work order when Warranty covered started..... really, Shame on you.

    This is our first time using Choice Home Warranty for an appliance since we first purchased the warranty a year ago. They were very prompt in getting a technician out to the house. It was decided that we needed a new microwave. Unfortunately, the funds given to replace our 20 year old microwave will not even cover half of the cost of a microwave made in this day and age.     I have been using Choice Home Warranty for over a year and paying them monthly. Since then I have two claims so far, but when comes to any claim they do not want to cover the claim and make an unprofessional policy statement that will describe the claim you made will be denied because the policy statement they add is an unethical, example as your cooktop was crack, they will deny and they will tell the reason on the crack of the stove is inappropriate of usage.

    Can anyone tell me who wants to intentionally break their cooktop to get the technician to come to the house during covid situation and have them look your stove and technician describes it as usually normal, happens most of the house because of the normal usages, but the Choice Home Warranty will deny the claim anyways just not to fix the issue or not to pay for the damages with an unethical statement!!!! I strongly advise anyone who wants to sign up with Choice Home Warranty to think twice about where they want to spend their hard earn money to get the proper warranty of the household.

    I have an older furnace and AC unit that has been under warranty for over 2 years. I had issues with the system not cooling.     You do realize that people have jobs right? So I had to arrange for someone to be at my house so I didn't miss work and when the tech shows up he can't fix the issue on site? First approval must be granted, makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that you all don't have a number to call for the tech to get permission while on site.     I have been a customer of Choice Warranty for close to a year. I have either filed zero or 1 other claim during this time. I filed a claim for my fridge. It took a week to find a vendor to fix the service the fridge. The claim was denied and I filed an appeal. The appeal was assigned to a claim specialist. Sylvanna ** introduced herself by email as someone who cares and encouraged me to schedule and appt or call at my earliest convenience. She has never returned my call. I have requested a call back over 5 times by phone and email. The voice mail says she will call back in the order received.

    I have been calling since April 27th and no call back. The link she sent to make an appointment - did not work. I emailed her back regarding this and no response. Which was fine since I thought she would at least return my call. I email her again regarding the link not working and the fact that she has not returned my call. Her response was she prefers to only speak to my by email and sends a link that works. That link only had appointments set up for May 5, 2021. Which is ridiculous. I have now been without a fridge for over 2 weeks.

    I called LG during this time since Choice denied the claim because they think the compressor is under warranty. LG tells me is not, since I purchased the fridge in 2015 (when I bought the home). However, LG said parts would be covered, but Choice would be responsible for labor. However, they would need Choice to contact them. The guy at LG even followed up and sent me information needed. This is more customer service than I have received from Choice. During this time, I am constantly bombarded with calls and emails to renew my warranty. I will not. Furthermore as a Real Estate Agent, I will not even recommend this company. I need a call back ASAP.

I purchased Choice Home Warranty because I understood that when my appliance broke, they would have someone repair it along with my co-payment and if it could not be repaired, they could replace it.     Within 5 minutes of the technician, who I hired and have paid for, I received an email saying my claim was denied. The technician did it right. CHW sets it up in their reimbursement system so that the choices will ensure they can deny your claim. In my case, the choice was age or power surge. Well a power surge would not be normal wear and tear which is the qualifier for reimbursement, age would be. A power surge never happened. The part failed because of age and the technician never wrote power surge on the paperwork left with me. So the technician answered the question honestly, gave the paperwork with the honest answer and I am answering honestly that a power surge never happened. Yet, an unqualified person sitting at a desk or a system algorithm made a decision to deny my reimbursement because the question on the www.chwclaims.com site is set up to ensure they don't have to pay.     Submitted claim for A/C unit not working. Technician was sent to the home with 48 hours which was good. Technician's claim for payment was denied. Reason for denial was "repair on a non-moving component that cannot leak from normal wear and tear". That is ridiculous as the part is 15 + years old, located outside, and is subject to the elements. Process to submit an appeal is not user friendly, inconvenient, and should not require my time. Your company has a poor reputation for living up to supporting and paying claims. However, you are more than happy to take our $1,800 three year premium up front.

    What a joke! Poor customer service and in it for the profit. I have a policy with Choice Home Warranty and my dishwasher recently needed replacement. The replacement offer wouldn't even cover the most basic dishwasher. They hide behind some legal mumbo jumbo that they do not pay retail, but the amount that they offer shows that they are just in it for the profit. Don't believe the advertisements!

    Your agent poached a current customer 3 months before my renewable policy. It had been a while (years!) since I had talked to Luke ** at Choice. This agent sounded similar (young) and insisted it was time to renew (pay in advance) since my policy renewed July 30, 2021. The phone number was from Bolivar, TX just by Galveston 20 miles from League City. It bothered me that it was not coming up as Choice in my phone, but COVID has changed things a lot! He gave me a higher price but took payments. I called today to verify the policy and Luke answered! Imagine my surprise!

    Luke knew what had happened (my account had been poached by another agent) and redirected me to this new agent of yours. So I have 6 years of service at ** and a 4 month payment plan. I had no idea your business was so cut-throat. The service is more expensive for me and my client but your service now covers higher limits and areas for my renter to work with successfully.     My experience with the technician that came out for our A/C issue was excellent. He explained what he was doing and showed me each step of the way. My experience with Customer Service when I was trying to determine if I was going to renew my Choice Warranty was awful. I got a call from a Michael earlier in the day and I was unable to talk at that time and asked him to call me back around 3pm. I never received a call back. So I reached out and asked for him. He came on the phone and really didn't listen to me from the start as I had expressed some hesitancy about previous experience and what was covered. He didn't address those issue but went right into sales pitch.

    I asked if he could send me info about the changes Choice had made in their coverage and asked about getting an extra day to look over the changes. He said I had already had a lot of time to decide and couldn't give me an extension. When I tried to explain why and ask again he began talking over me and wouldn't let me speak. At that point I disconnected the call. If that is the way representatives of Choice treat customers or potential customers there is a problem.

    I have a top of line Trane AC unit in my home. My claim was turned down for excuse (Reason) that don't exist. I will have a new unit put in and have a a piece, which will prove there is no rust inside the coil. This coil is only a little over 5 years old!     Our kitchen oven did not start so they send in a technician. He came back after 3 weeks with the wrong part. I waited another 2 weeks without responds complaint with Choice. They send the next technician. He found out that an older repair from Choice burned a hole in the burner. Now I'm in the 9 week. Choice don't wanna pay for a new burner (it's not wear and tear) I have to pay for. This is not the first time that happened. Had a similar issue 2 years ago. Do not sign up with this company. You will not be happy with the service.
