Employee did show up past the scheduled time but did make contact with me prior to the expiration of the appointment time. He came and gave a temporary fix until he could get the new part today. Will be returning today to install the new part.

On our first request to use our warranty we were denied. Had to pay the $65 for nothing. All we wanted was for someone to replace the electric outlet on the outside wall of our house. It is no different than any electrical outlet in our house. The run around was frustrating. The $65 was only for Choice to see if they wanted to pay for the work. They could have done that themselves. We told them where the need was to begin with.

He attempted reattaching and replacing it with a used one ..no joy...it went off again. He came right back with advice and said he would find something affordable as CHW said it wasn't covered. Nice guys but tied by the disclaimers, etc.

I had been with another company since JUNE 2020 and I made a claim and they said it was not valid. They also did not explain the procedure either, which you did. Thank you.

So far it's been a great experience, my wife and I are so happy to be working with CHW. I've had a plumber service the hot water tank and he was very friendly and educated. We also received some really good offers for home security. My wife and I feel like we're in good hands!

We left American Home Shield to come to Choice Home Warranty and it was a huge mistake. Placed a service call on Saturday, May 15 and the company was unable to find a AC technician in our area to handle the problem which is covered under our policy. We had to handle it ourselves by hiring someone within 15 minute. Terrible! Will be canceling our service June 1, 2021.

My Air Condition Ran out. Fan was stop blowing. CHW said technician will come to fixed week after, it’s crazy. Finally they send me after 24 hours. They put new Fan an AC filter and my cost only $65. Thank you.

The CSR was extremely helpful addressing both my questions and claim submission. She walked me through the process including possible timeline with clear and detailed steps. After explains the process and fee structure, she entered the claim for service and provided the claim number for my reference.

Part is on back order and had to go out to wash clothes. As of today no status on part, not very happy with service at this time. Have not heard from Choice Warranty or the technician concerning the back order.

Signed up for this program online today. It was simple, easy to understand and reasonably priced. Response to my membership was immediate. If the service ever is needed at my home I would assume the response to any problem will be the same.

My sales person was "down to earth". She was able to explain in the plan to me. I really can only give you that. I need to have used this plan to see if the plan is any good. After I have experienced it I can tell you if it meets my standard.

I called Choice to request a service call for a leaking water heater. Serviceman was was assigned/made serviceman came to house, stating the water heater needed to be replaced. I paid him his service call, He stated he would turn in the claim but that Choice had a reputation of denying water heater claims but when they denied the claim he would replace for at his price. I will be advising everyone I know at Federal Express to cancel all dealings with Choice. Choice does not honor their contact! They lie to get your business!

I was very concerned about the water under my kitchen tile flooring. I thought the worst. Choice came through for me this time. The service tech ran a full check of the dishwasher cycle and found no leaks. I have no idea how the water got under the tile. I am breathing a lot easier knowing that Choice got a reliable service contractor out here to give me peace of mind. Thank you.

I feel as if your company misrepresents the service that it offers. My air conditioner worked well for me for over 21 years. Despite that you deny my claim because of what you say is faulty wiring. I do not think it fair and I am of the belief that you simply do not want fulfill your obligation under the contract. Because I think your company is a total rip-off, it is my intend to change to American Home Shield. They may be more expensive, but at least they live up to their promises.

The technician arrived the same day that I called. He quickly connected the new garbage disposal and had it working. This had not been my previous experience, so I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for the service and the Choice insurance.

The company sent out by Choice did a wonderful job on getting us back up and going. The AC repair company called and set up an earlier appointment and had everything up and going in no time. Calling Choice to get our warranty work was a quick and simple process. Glad we went with this company.

My call was handled very quickly and courteously. The engineer was polite, helpful and informative and explained the process and his professional opinion of how our AC unit was working and factors that can influence low Freon. I would definitely recommend.

I was pleased with the response from Choice Home Warranty. I received someone within 24 hours. The individual was able to resolve the problem. He was very professional. The only issue is that I asked how much my service call was and he told me 65, but in fact it was only $60.

Jason was excellent. He did very good work, cleaned up after himself and answered all my questions. He communicated well prior to the call and was willing to take a second look when something seemed amiss. I would recommend him for any needed plumbing repair. I hope he is the one send for future warranty work.

We purchased our first home and due to it being an older home and having some questionable handy work from the previous owner, we purchased the home warranty so that we would be covered if something happened. Our AC broke and was not covered at all because there was corrosion and mold in the unit which made the whole unit void of coverage. We live in Florida where it is humid, there is mold or corrosion on everyone's unit. We ended up having to finance and purchase a new AC unit totally out of our pocket. This exception wasn't listed in the AC section under Exceptions of the contract either, it was in the bottom general section so it is easy to miss. What is the point of having a home warranty when normal things aren't covered? Not sure, waste of money so far.

I'm highly disappointed at the service. During the process, the technician never called ahead to get information. Therefore the technician came out and was not prepared to service the, only investigate. Which meant I had to wait another week for an attempt at a repair. If more information was gathered up front, then there is the potential that the technician could have repaired my item on the first visit.

I call in 3 claims using this so called home warranty. None of them were honored. The 1st was an electrical issue late in 2021. The 2nd hot water heater issue. 3rd air condition. The last two were this year. Each one I paid service call and the repairs out of pocket. I wonder what was the purpose of buying a home warranty!

Responded right away. Very courteous and problem solved within 24 hours. I will comment later as to how the repair holds up. My experience is much better than last year, I ended up buying a new unit for downstairs after a week with no AC.

Reps were rude. Was told that I could cancel within 30 days with no charge. 5/18 Josh told me I would be charge $50 for canceling. When I questioned that after service request charge, you also charge a deductible. Was told no. However, Item 3, Pay Your Service Fee says "service technician will collect deductible from you upon arrival." Used your company about 3 yrs ago and had to pay technician $100 in addition to service charge. Will never recommend this company.

I placed a simple plumbing service call. Tech arrived promptly on Thursday but did not return until Tuesday to fix the problem. He originally told me he would be there Monday to fix it. I had to call him back. This seems like a long turnaround time to fix the problem. I hope the issue is fixed.

So far my experience with Choice Home Warranty has been extremely poor. I have made two claims over a three year period and both claims have been denied by CHW. They seem to always locate some obscure fine print in the contract to deny your claim. So far, this warranty has been absolutely worthless for my purpose.

Hot water heater pipe burst, called Choice Insurance for help, told service would be 4 days later: I could not leave my family without water for 4 days, so I had to find and pay a local plumbing company. Had to cancel the claim.

Water seeps into adjacent bedroom when shower is used. Technician was unable to determine the cause. He suggested that a camera might be needed to check out lines or further to go into wall to see if a valve is leaking. CHW came back saying that Tech found no Mechanical problems so no repair was needed. I will dispute this!!!! I have used CHW on this house and on other properties that I manage also on homes that I have sold. This is the first time I have had a problem. I hope this issue can be resolved.

My AC was fixed and I was very pleased with the technician that was sent to fix it. The first technician that was sent was not able to fix it and he was honest and say that the next day I was going to be contacted by another carrier technician.

The technician was timely. Came in, checked out the ice maker, diagnosed the problem. Explained to me what the problem was and what probably happened and ordered a part for repair. Very pleased with the time it took and the courtesy and professionalism of the technician.

The technician from Cardinal was great. He was on time and replaced our burned-out opener quickly with upgraded tech. Kept us informed through the service call. I would gladly have them out again for any future work. I Highly recommend!

Beware: When speaking with the customer service person, make sure to use a date as close to the actual time of discovery of your issues as possible. I was in a hurry to get my claim filed during my lunch break and when asked an "approximate date" the issue was discovered I just said the date I closed on my home (not even the day I moved in, not the weeks later that the issue arose). When the person told me that it didn't qualify due to being out of the window of coverage and was pre-existing prior to the policy, I recanted that statement and explained that we discovered it after having moved in. I then gave an approximate date that was a better estimate, but then they were suspicious of me and told me that they have ways they can tell if the issue was pre-existing when the technician comes.
Knowing that the issue has become prevalent post the time of my home inspection report and move in, I said, "Ok do what you need to do," not fearing what might be discovered as I know that I used to be able to cook with my stove, now it takes me 20 minutes to boil water. They sent a technician who who was great and recommended to replace the power panel. I received an email two days later saying that my claim had been denied because they determined it occurred prior to the policy. This is untrue and made me wonder why I purchased this home warranty.
I will be happy to correct my review here if they accept my appeal which includes the home inspection report showing a functional stove with the exception of one burner at that time. Since that time, I've lost another burner and the level of power to my stove. To me, that's significantly different than when I purchased the home. However, I will say the technicians they sent for both the electric issue (which was solved in less than 10 minutes and of course I paid both technicians the $65 fee) and the stove repairman were both very professional and knowledgeable.

Andrew did a great job getting our refrigerator serviced and educated me on how to properly maintain the refrigerator. Turns out the Sub Zero Refrigerator we have had been there for 21 years and had not been previously maintained (we bought the house 7 months ago with the refrigerator included).

I was never informed that I needed to wait 30 days for a refund. They have no problem in processing your payment in one day and taking the funds from your credit card or checking account but to refund the money they take 30 days. That is absolutely ridiculous, insulting, conniving. Customers beware. Before you make the payment remember about the 30 days to return the money not about the 30 days to decide if you want to keep the product of the warranty or to decline the offer. Caveat Emptor (latin)... BUYER BEWARE!!!

Coil leaking R-22 and won’t cool properly. Claim denied. Does this company ever approve costly repairs/replacement? Never, Never, Never. Very disappointed in this unwillingness to truly assist when it’s most needed.

Called 3 weeks ago. Refrigerator was not freezing. Sent someone out. He said it couldn’t be fixed. Another week went by. They sent out another repairman. He said the same thing the first repairman said. Another week goes by. No phone call no email from anyone. I called. I spoke with Alex. I asked him what was going on. He told me they were waiting for parts. I asked how long will that take. He had no answers but would call the repairman. After waiting for him to come on after 20 minutes on hold I was disconnected. Three days later my husband called back again and we were told they weren’t fixing the refrigerator it was under warranty. Why were we told this after 3 weeks. Three weeks living in Florida without a refrigerator. Unbelievable. I would never recommend this company again. Their customer service is horrible.

This was my first service call with Choice, and so far, so good. I was especially pleased that you found a technician who was willing to come out on a Sunday. AHS would never do that. In fact, not only would I have to wait a week or more for a technician, but sometimes the service company they used wouldn't even call me to verify my appointment. So keep up the good work. Keep me away from having to go back to AHS.

Technician is knowledgeable and good at his work. I am very pleased with the quality of his work. He came in earlier than the appointment time. He quickly identify the problem and proposed the solution. The service charge is not too bad. I highly recommend Choice and Arrowhead Plumbing if you have any plumbing issue.

After trying 3 times and replacing parts (not to mention dropping and breaking microwave door) and tech advising CHW that item could not be repaired, CHW offered to Replace my $1,400 unit by offering $199. After phone conversation with CHW "personal" rep I was told they would pay around $400+. When I asked how that figure was determined I was told that was the amount they could purchase it. I just paid $1,700 to replace with identical features that CHW could not repair. CHW IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. Need to explore class action suit because I am probably not the only person this has happened to.

Terrific service from Vendor working on fridge. Choice customer service was great. Refrigerator parts were no longer available so Choice gave us an e-card to Lowe’s for the purchase of another Refrigerator. Surprised and Thankful. Thankful we went with Choice Home Warranty.

I was denied repair/replacement of my pool filter despite the fact that it failed as a result of normal wear after 13+ years of operation. I have my pool cleaned and chemicals balanced twice per month and annual maintenance performed on my filter and pump. I bought the home warranty 7 months ago to cover repair/replacement of household and pool/spa equipment that might fail as a result of normal wear and tear. The filter enclosure recently separated from the housing due to internal pressure after many years of service. CHW denied my claim stating that the enclosure was cracked and corroded. The filter and housing was serviced 2 months prior and never once gave me any problems. The filter housing simply came to the end of its 13+ year service life. Do not trust your hard earned money with CHW. I plan to inform everyone I know not to trust CHW.

I guess I expected more from your company. We were told after waiting so long for someone to come and check it that it was unrepairable. He checked with your company and he said you would get back with an offer. I received the offer for 246.00 at Lowe's. I went online to order it. Only to find out it is going to cost almost 600.00 for the unit installation and that didn't include taxes, a new drain hose and haul away so I called and was told I needed to reject the offer and send info on old dishwasher. I didn't have that info. The repairman gave that to them when he called. So I decided to eat the difference and accept the offer. After I did only to find out it could take up to another 30 days to get the e card.
My husband and I are in our 60s and on disability. My husband can't get out of bed no more. So my day is filled taking care of him. I don't have time to mess with sending documentation that the repairman had already gave to you. And I don't have time to stand and wash dishes. I was told if I had gone with Sears warranty they would have replaced it no questions asked. I went with your company cause I was told you were the best.

Online claim was easy to file. Serviced technician visited the next day, on a Saturday afternoon. Technician was professional and knowledgeable. Claim was approved to replace compressor the next morning, on a Sunday. Technician was able to replace compressor on Monday, the next day. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

They do not uphold their contract. We had four failed repairs with them, one of which damaged our AC unit. Choice refuses to provide reimbursement for their botched job, which after 8 weeks of waiting for them to fix the issue, when it is 89 degrees F outside, we decided to fix ourselves. The contract states that if a service technician damages/fails to repair a unit properly that clients can seek remedy for this, like we did. Because we hired someone without prior approval, they say they can't reimburse us, even though the contract states otherwise. Stay away from this company.

The Plumber kept me informed from Saturday/Sunday. They responded to my residence and attempted to address the issues that are affecting the downstairs toilet and wash machine drainage. Today (18MAY21) Allegiance called (Katie) and said she conferred with the Septic Tank Cleaner who said the tank had to be evacuated. Called Choice and advised them. A call went out for a Septic Tank service.

Kayleigh assisted me choosing the right plan. Payment options and so forth. I was very happy with the customer service. The plan is more compressive than my last plan and less a month! They will replace items if they can't fix it. Also something my Previous plan didn't allow for.

Choice REFUSED to correct the problem with the stovetop and denied the claim. I had to pay $65 for nothing. I will never advise anyone to choose CHW as they have denied my claims I submitted this past year. Why pay $750 for nothing!

The repair tech came in 2 days. Very thorough and nice. He sent in his recommendation to repair the dishwasher. We were told CHW wanted to replace it but gave a very lowball fee for replacement. The problem we had was getting to speak to a claims manager at CHW. That took several weeks.

Difficult to work with people they contract with. No one showed for the scheduled confirmed appointment. The plumber claimed he was short of staff, our appointment was already a week out. It has now been more than 20 days and no plumber.

The vendor you sent out and your claim approval department cannot see eye to eye. They claim they sent you all the data you need, speak to you, use your portal and every day you come up with something new. My air conditioner is still not working, they say they are not going to work with Choice anymore because of your poor practices and I am in the middle now, and could not even open up another claim yesterday,

Takes too long to get service. In the meantime, customer is inconvenienced. Claim initiated end of January. Work completed in April. Had to correspond with Choice, as there were no communications from Choice. I had recommended Choice to many members of my family. They signed up with Choice, but because of this issue, they left Choice. Choice says to recommend them, but it is very hard to, as family and friends are dissatisfied with the experience.

Scheduling took a couple of calls to get to done. For service, Technician called close to end of time frame to indicate running late. He was over 2 hours late. Upon arrival, he was friendly. Service was quick and complete. Item appears to be working properly.

The technician was great. He was prompt, nice and seemed knowledgeable. But apparently the part needed to repair my range was not available so I was contacted by Choice and offered an insanely low amount ($388), in the form of a gift card at a store 2 hours away, to purchase a replacement. My range has features that are not found in the least expensive electric range on the market. I haven’t seen any with a built in grill, so I presume that feature is irreplaceable. And electric ranges that are slide in and have downdrafts start at $3200. Choice warranty has agreed to send me a check for less than $600 to replace my range! I do not feel like purchasing this warranty was a good idea and will certainly not renew it.

Kitchen stove burners were getting hotter than they needed to be, almost burned food a few times. I called Choice and an appointment was quickly set up. The young man changed the timers which had gone bad on the kitchen stove. When he came out the first time he needed parts. He ordered the parts and promptly returned and completed the job. GOOD JOB!

He explained how their service works and it was much better than I had before and the monthly cost was also lower. Had a tech out to repair fridge but he had to order compressor—5-7 days to have it replaced. Next day got an email that Choice decided to give e-gift card for replacement purchase due to age, etc. I accepted offer and got auto response that it would take up to 30 days to process e-gift card. I received a call from a Choice Home Warranty Specialist stating my policy was expiring on June 8. She led me to believe it was for 2021. I renewed and then checked the paperwork sent. My policy was not expiring until 2022. I would not have renewed a year early. I was very upset to be deceived in that way. Very unprofessional. A/C system is not something that remain forever. Be prepared early with your need of A/C! It's my experience that homeowner can save lots of time and $ with Choice Home Warranty. CHW is replacing a new A/C unit for my house. Technician said the new set worths around 3k, and CHW requires I pay $1050 for the uncovered items (per code items). That's the only thing make me unsatisfied.

The first 2 dispatched were the worst-I wanted my money back- the most unprofessional, untruthful I’ve ever dealt with. No verification of appointment except from email from Choice. A 5 hr window on the day of their choice (which the Ritchie Brothers admitted they give till 8 bc of Choice but stop before 6). No warning or estimate of coming but a call supposedly in their way. And a ten minute time limit to return call before they canceled. The next appointment set up was a no show no call until I contacted Choice myself. It was then while on phone w/ Choice's resolution did I receive a text. And then lied about amount of warning (my phone puts time of VM & text) etc. The next one assigned also made no contact, just a email from Choice. And he too was a complete no show no call or text. They both make Choice Warranty look bad in their choices of who represent Choice.
Pro Comfort were wonderful. Professionalism at its best. Call to verify appointment, called to give estimate time of arrival. They understand that the people they service have jobs as well. Excellent! Only thing was I was told the 75 service fee would be paid by Choice bc of me missing work to accommodate the first 2 technician. I would recommend Pro Heat & Cooling as excellent & recommend to everyone!! I intend to have them do my seasonal check of heat & air. But as far as recommending I’m still unsure. I’m not sure if the reviews I based my decision on were selective. I’ve had home warranty for many years. And was satisfied. The saying you “you get what you pay for” might be the case with Choice. We will see if the customer service gets better. By the way, Resolution Manager Joshua was excellent & gave me his extension but on your automatic system- it would say “transfer failed” & immediately hang up. All 5 times!

CHW HAS NO INTENTION OF UPHOLDING THEIR OBLIGATION IN MY OPINION. From my initial interaction with them, it was clear that their objective was to throw up every barrier available not to pay a simple and obvious warranty claim THAT THEIR HIRED TECHNICIAN DETERMINED should be paid. To date, they still refuse to pay a simple and relatively small claim that they have determined is a cut and dried decision. Over two months has passed since I filed the claim, a very sad case study for any business. Buyer beware - spend your money elsewhere. Not worth the frustration and quite a sham. The technician that serviced my dryer arrived on time, and properly diagnosed the problem with the dryer. The technician indicated that the heater coil element was worn, and a new replacement was required to resolve the issue. The above mentioned replacement part was available in the service vehicle, and installed successfully by the technician in a timely manner.

Opened a claim for air compressor not blowing cool air and had an appointment with a service within a few hours. The service arrived and discovered my circuit breaker had tripped during a power outage from previous months. It took him about 2 mins to find the problem and corrected it. So far CHW has been quick to respond. I haven’t had any major issues so I feel it’s premature to give a accurate rating. So far they have been excellent.

I filed my claim recently by using the automated voice system which I would not use again. It was rigid and allowed little time for explanation of the problem which in some cases maybe not only necessary but helpful. That being said, the technician assigned to my claim made all the difference in my satisfaction. He arrived well within the time frame, assessed the problem, offered the best solution and resolved the issue. He was courteous, knowledgeable, well spoken and efficient. Likewise the personnel at his office were pleasant and accommodating to my time and needs. If I need to file a claim in the future, I will definitely request Joseph from O'meara Restoration. Why? As of yesterday, I am pleased with the performance of the Air Conditioning technician that repaired my unit. I had been told by other techs that it could not be repaired and must be replaced. My other experience with my CHW claims is for a failed Water Heater. With the CHW tech on site calling the claims office telling them the problem was heater will not stay lit. The office insisted the heater was leaking and therefore not covered, I replaced the heater on my own, and I was VERY dissatisfied with CHW's performance.

Tech was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. He arrived on time and skipped lunch to do so. Frig went Thursday and he was there Friday. He explained the problem and gave the estimate. Choice decided not fix it and proposed a $494 Lowes card, Lowes couldn't provide a replacement. I'm waiting to hear if we can get a debit card or a check. I checked all over and finally found a comparable unit. We needed a 28" wide one and no more than 67" high. The amount proposed was $277 less than replacement.

Technician came during the appointment made. Called me in advance to let me know he was arriving. Was very knowledgeable. Fixed my water heater and was very courteous and prepared. I had called the day before. By the next day I had an appointment for water heater to be looked at.

The tech did his job but Choice did not. When you get to hear what transpired between him and Choice you lose respect for the decision Choice made. My stove may not be repaired in two weeks because the tech Was Not allowed to order the PARTS needed. If the one part gets installed and does not fix the problem I am without my stove another two weeks because tech tried to do it correctly and was not allowed by the Choice rep. I find the process of filing a claim difficult and I never received a call from our account manager after leaving a message. I shouldn't have to ask the contractor if something is covered, my manager or customer service should be doing that. Customer service didn't understand what I was talking about. If your problem isn't in the drop down online, it's a nightmare getting to speak to a person.

The technician who eventually fixed the appliance was terrific. But Choice sent the WRONG PERSON FIVE ** TIMES! They kept sending plumbers to fix a trash compactor. It took almost six months to do a repair that ultimately was completed in about ten minutes.

The technician from Garage Doctors came to our home within 24 hrs. Of our submitting our claim. He was very professional and courteous and fixed the problem and will be back on Wednesday to install a component he did not have with him. Overall, I am very satisfied with the process.

Y’all deny too many things that should not be. Not happy as I thought the services would be better. I spent a lot of money and to be denied like my broken toilet then give an excuse to deny it based on a issue that has nothing to do with it.

Tech was on time, and very thorough. Gave complete explanation of issues and ordered part. Tech informed me that he was leaving the company, but would leave notes and part information. Tech gave me an approximate date the part would be in, and when the tech would be out to replace the part to see if that will resolve the issue.

Choice never called me about the claim being or not covered nor the repairman ever followed up with me about completing the repair. I called Choice but all the claims representative could tell me is that the ticket was closed and that I should call the repair company. The repair gave me the same response to call choice.

The motherboard of our dishwasher was dead. CHW authorized to "replace" it. However, for this "replacement", we need to pay $400 out of pocket to have it up and running. Why CHW did not simply authorize to replace the motherboard instead of the entire dishwasher? It Would be much cheaper for CHW as well as us.

It was very easy. My garage door spring broke last night when my husband returned home from work. We cannot open the garage door. We had planned a day on the lake but now we cannot get the boat out of the garage. I hope it will be fixed soon.

Great customer service. The customer service person was very helpful. The previous company that came out was no good. Totally dishonest people. I recommend you fire them. They said both AC were low on Freon. Did not charge it up. Gave me an estimate of $3600 to replace both evaporator coils.

Let me start by saying I still have the same for this problem since May 5. There was one technician that came out on Wednesday and he just ran the snake through the tub while he flushing the toilet with no success. Then they took a few minutes to look for a outside white pipe with still no success but it seemed as they didn't want to look. I paid them for nothing and I am disabled and can't afford to pay anyone for nothing. Flush the toilet and it backs up into the tub and makes a loud noise. The sink in the kitchen they didn't check it.
Well what it comes down to is that the sewage facts into the tub which can't take a bath, can't wash dishes, really it's very hard to use the toilet. Does this make any sense to anyone? Someone would have to go to Problem Like This with such a long time. Hope this message to whoever it needs to get to because I put another play and now they're telling me it won't be until the 21st before a technician can get out here. I want to stay with let this go on in their home for such a long time. I doubt it so why would they have me to go through this for such a long time.

Once the technician submitted the claim however my experience shifted as it was promptly rejected despite the service advising it was normal wear and tear. My service advisor was helpful once I submitted a rebuttal however, I should not have had to go through this and it was a very poor first interaction with your service.

I had already made my decision to purchase a plan and he was so pushy that I actually tried to cancel it. I understand he is trying to give the customer the best deal, but when I have made a decision to decline said deal sales dude should respect that. He kept going trying to get me to purchase the 3 year plan. I get it's a great deal but that is a lot of money upfront and his lack of respect for my decision was very off putting. It was like deal with a toddler that just will not take no for an answer. I get it's a good deal but don't make me feel like ** because I can't shell out $1,500 bucks upfront on a service I've never tried.

The rating would have been a 5 star except Choice Home Warranty could not give contractor approval for repair until it went “up the ladder” to a supervisor. Because of not knowing when that approval would be given the contractor went on another service call and completed the job the following day. It’s very hot here in Florida so it did cause an inconvenience. Contractor was great.

The breaker switch for my air condition needed to be replace according to the technician. He remove the old one and was going to replace and called CHW representative to inform about the issue. The rep wanted to know the cause of the issue and the technician indicated that the unit is old so it could be numbers of factor would cause this problem including maybe surge but was not for sure. The CHW Rep immediately told the tech that it will be cover not to proceed. The tech indicated that I cannot leave let this because I ready move the old switch and the rep told the tech to end the job not to do anymore. I got message the claim was denial because it was surge and I need to refer to my contract. I send a request to the case worker as why I believe this claim to be pay. She denial it so I had to pay to complete the job. Yes my air condition is now working.

I got caught up in a scam by the last repairman, Edwin ** of the Jean Company, and my request for a repair was denied because he subsequently sold me a used refrigerator which you had previously paid for. I assume he was the serviceman on that case and took the fridge with him and sold it to me. I am now being penalized for something I had nothing to do with.
