Dwayne, the electrician who Watt-up sent to provide the service, came in on time complete with mask and gears. He was very courteous and friendly. As I described the electrical problem, he was very attentive and he asked questions to gather info that he needed to solve the problem. He then explained to me what the problems were, then proceeded to solve all that were covered in his assignment. He was a very helpful guy - truly a big asset to his company.

I submitted a claim for AC repair on a Thursday evening May 20th. It was assigned and the repairs were done by the end of Friday May 21st. This was a much better experience that my previous experience with CHOICE assigned technicians.

Appointment scheduled quickly- technician was able to arrive earlier then scheduled appointment time. Technician described the issue, made recommendations and took the necessary action to get system operating properly. Received from Choice a detailed explanation regarding the substance of the issue and why that issue is not covered under the contract.

We had a dead fridge...called Choice warranty.. They had a service guy out next day! He diagnosed...They said it was unrepairable. Next day, I got an email with an offer to replace fridge with a LOWE'S GIFT CARD! I HAVE NOT ACTUALLY RECEIVED IT YET ... BUT I'M THINKING THEY WILL BE QUICK... TO BE CONTINUED.

This was my first service with Choice, I was with Homeserve for over 4 years and I am so happy I switched. Choice is more professional, well organized and easy to contact. The recent tech I had for work on my Sub Zero fridge was far superior to any techs supplied by Homeserve. Very satisfied.

The service company Harris County Appliances was great actually so far the only bright spot with this experience. It’s been over a week. No completeness to my dishwasher issue. The $246 to purchase a new unit is only half of what low end dishwashers cost. Disappointing to say the least. I’m now waiting again on the $246 to go and purchase a dishwasher, how long will this take?

I filed my claim and had a response with a technician and date within 24 hours! The technician kept me updated either by call or text about arrival time. Tech was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Received email before tech left with the claim settlement and how to retrieve my gift card! Best experience I've ever had with home warranty companies!

You seriously need to get organized in your offices to where the clients are dealing with one person. I had several calls from an office that is not here. Plus the CS didn’t have a connection with the the company they hired to do the job. You can try knowing the real date thing are happening!!!

My claim for a water leak I told the contractor I would pay for the water heater to be removed and replaced after the water leak was repaired. As usual Choice will not cover ever the repair of the water line which IS COVERED as a warranty item I what the repair covered please contact A1 Service and OK this repair. I would like a call back with an approval for this repair with no excuses from Choice for this repair...

Mr. Wes from Millbrook plumbing tried to fix problem but because this policy wouldn't paid him if he climbed on the roof to fix. I had to live 4 days more before I paid to have it fixed. He was honorable by not taking the $75 deposit money. Choice will not be renewed.

Though I was able to cancel this service call because I was able to solve the problem, the service from Choice was both professional and their response in finding a service company was timely. This was my second call to Choice for service in and I'm very satisfied with both.

My Air Conditioner was not blowing out cold air and I put in a claim and received an email right away. They sent someone out the next day. I received the approval to get the work done right away but was after hours but, Butler M-K Heating & Cooling did fix it and I am very happy!!!

As I read other's reviews and knowing my own experience with CHW, I can say that there is something wrong with all of those people reviews. #1. They never repair anything. #2 Upon the tech arrival they take pictures of the appliances in question and without opening them up and look up at the issues, they will take pictures with their cell phones, asked for the $45.00 service fee and will tell you that they will call you back after they get an authorization to fix the problem.
#2 CHW agent will sent you an email and advised you that the appliances are not repairable or are not under their contract. #3 CHW used non-professional people or so call companies without no clue at what they are talking about and will pay you an estimated amount not even close to the replacement price. #4 At your initial claim call you can not talk to anyone, you have to go on line and if your appliances are not listed "good luck", getting it repair. (As an example Water softener, Roofing are among of those items not listed.)

So far one claim has been resolved and I am happy with the turn around time. Blue Star was sent out for repair on my washer and they were very professional and did everything in a timely manner. Would recommend them to anyone.

The Garbage disposal was leaking water from where the power goes into the disposal. The Garbage disposal was replaced and it took less than 10 mins. It was quick and easy install. We called for a service over the weekend and the tech was assigned for Friday and it was replaced right away. I will recommend this service.

I had Andy come by for the inspection. He was very respectful, wore a mask and seemed very knowledgeable. Although he didn't come at his scheduled time. I think there was a communication problem between him and Choice. I had to track him down by the phone number in the claim. Other than that a good experience.

Very upset that I am having to pay for someone to come fix my icemaker when I told them that the last time they came. It was never fixed so why should I have to pay again for someone to come out here and fix it. I cancelled the appt after being told I had to pay again for something that should have been fixed in the first place.

The contractor (T&J) was thorough to assure that they're taking into account all of our needs and took the time to explain everything to us. At this time we're still awaiting approval for services to be rendered so our rating is premature. Hopefully we'll hear something later on today on when to get the services started.

AC-DC HVAC was scheduled for the following day that I called to make the claim- which was perfectly fine. But ended up calling that afternoon saying they had an opening. We took it, the technician was there right on time. Diagnosed the problem, made the suggested repair. So I hope that we will no longer have any issues with our system. The repair was quite simple- a new thermostat installation. I do wish they would have given us an option to upgrade the thermostat to a WIFI enabled device for an extra charge.

Making contact with Choice home warranty was quick but I couldn't reach anyone to talk with so I had to send them an e-mail but it got done in a good timely manner when I filed the claim on 22 MAY 2021. The tech arrived about an hour late but I was ok with it. Due to him being kept at another job. He fixed the problem in about 30 minutes and I was happy about that and what he did. I forgot his name but he was good. Thank you PRO GARAGE.

I am a senior citizen and needed help desperately with my drains all being blocked? I have had CHW since over a year ago and was given no help when I needed it the most. I opted out after 2 days for reimbursement and contacted a plumber on my own and paid for it on my own and will end my contract with CHW in the very near future. All this even after I had told people on Facebook that you were the best in the business? I was taken aback by the way I was treated. I paid $225 and got the problem fixed by myself. I am new to this warranty company. I didn’t have my contract number so I put in my email to get it mailed to me. I didn’t see it for a few days as it went to my junk folder. I tried to place a new claim for my stove. I put my email and contract number and the Information and the website said I need to call the company to give more information. When I called, customer service was closed. I do expect this to work out well but it has been a hassle thus far!

I was very disappointed that the repair was not covered. There was a leak in the external pipe. Why it wasn’t covered I have no idea. There was no odd use or foul play - it was just regular wear and tear. It seems like Choice Warranty is now being really nitpicky on what claims they cover and what they don’t- I wish I knew this before I paid for three plus years up front!

I saw looking a TV after I join the team and saw that I don't get the best deal. My rep. didn't offer me the $200 dollars off that you guys was offering on TV and I would like to have it so if someone would please call me I would write a better review but I don't think that was fair to me as a client.

My a/c was not cooling and contacted Choice Home Warranty and they sent the technician in 24 hrs to fix the problem. The problem was fixed but they found two other problems and they could have fixed it but they were said to call the warranty co. for the additional problems and hence the four stars. Choice home warranty still fixed the main problem and hope that they would let the technician correct the other problems next time to save money and time. Thanks.

Updated on 05/27/2021: Joe arrived on time, calling us twenty minutes before arrival. His manner was very cordial and friendly. Within 20-30 minutes he was able to insert a tube into our fridge to help catch the water that was leaking enroute to the ice maker. We had someone out previously that didn't do that step when we wanted the leak repaired and that was not accomplished the first time.
Original Review: We are continuing to have leaking problems with our refrigerator in spite of having a technician come twice previously. Still same problem. Disappointed that it was not fixed. First visit was to install new ice maker but tech. did not have one in supply so we had to wait another week for second person to come after it had been ordered and to install it. Hopefully someone will now be able to successfully fix this ongoing leaking problem. THanks!

I am getting an e-card within 30 days on a new washer. Why 30 days when I need a washer now and why can't I choose where I want to buy from. Too many restrictions. You could have sent a check. That's what I got on my water heater replacement.

Raw sewage was backing up and I called on Saturday and by Sunday night hadn't heard back from Choice so I had to get my own plumber and apparently after 1.25 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone on Sunday to let you know I found a plumber. No one ever answered. Then when the plumber tried to get ahold of choice all he got was website not available. Now I am trying to contact reimbursement department and haven't received any call backs.

Efficient agents responded in a timely manner. Scheduling for meeting with claims review was difficult, every date I selected was gone very quickly. I take that means you are handling lots of clients. That can be good and bad. Clients don't agree with decisions when appealing to review team.

Opened a claim on 4/12 with a service call on 4/14 with a part shipped for 4/28 but had to schedule a 3rd as the wrong part was shipped then a no-show on 5/13. On 5/14 received an email that a replacement part is unavailable but because my fridge ice maker is non-critical to the cooling system the entire repair is declined. On 5/24 the escalation manager said there was an exclusion for built in ice-makers to begin with?!?! He wouldn't refund even refund the service call! I said I would contact the BBB and likely cancel and hung up.
On the BBB site there is an escalation # and called. I was told my account was cancelled and he couldn't even view my contract now or provide any sort of refund. On the website the contract does NOT have an exclusion https://www.choicehomewarranty.com/user-agreement/ so this is all VERY shady! I was told we had an “older contract” that did from 2019. What could Choice do to make this right? They should provide me with the amount of the part + labor in good faith if not a full replacement as promised.

This was my first experience using Choice and I was a little disappointed that they did not schedule my appointment for several days after my claim. The service provider they sent out was prompt, friendly and knew exactly what the problem was and it took him about 2 minutes to fix my garbage disposal, which basically only needed a reset which cost me $75. My fault, I should have done a little investigation on my own and avoid the need for the claim. Yes, I probably would recommend Choice to a friend.

I put in a claim this morning and I am waiting to hear from a plumber, I have guests coming to my home on Wednesday for an end of school party and a High School graduation party on Saturday. So I am not happy that all keep getting is these emails to provide a review when all I want is a phone call from a plumber who is going to fix the leak for my $75 copay.. do me Choice warranty.

Technician who came out was very knowledgeable. My dryer was actually covered except I had to pay $75 for the tech to vacuum out the lint. I constantly take out the lint and even clean behind my dryer. I have OCD so for them to say that’s not covered is saying like I don’t clean out the lint. I wasn’t happy with paying $75 for the technician to vacuum.

Service call from Bob at A&E Factory Service was prompt and very helpful. Bob reported that the main bearing of the LG washer had completely failed. He also reported that the cost to repair would likely exceed the replacement cost. What is the status of this claim? Today is the 24th of May and the inspection was April 26th... Nearly 1 month with a hung claim?

Like the way my claim was quickly attended to; however, the temperatures are in the 80’s and I called today Sunday. Repair is not coming here until Thursday. That is 4 day wait without air. We feel it should be 24-48 hrs turn around.

The work was completed in a timely manner. I had your service person out less than two (2) months ago for the same issue and I was charged another service fee, that I didn't think was fair because of the short time period between service calls. I have no complaints about the work, only the service fee.

The repair person came exactly when scheduled. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and finished in a short period. We no longer have a leaking refrigerator and the freezer and main compartment are working perfectly. No more water on the floor.

I am very disappointed in Choice Home Warranty. I have their coverage on three houses. I have had only two claims and both were denied - things that were originally said to be covered. I don't understand a company that says something is covered and then when you file a claim it is not covered after all.

The technician was very courteous and kept in contact with me concerning my appointment. He explained to me what the problem was and made suggestions on how to improve and avoid future problems. John was very good in diagnosing our problem with our Pentair Water Softener. The “ERR3” error would not go away, and he recommended replacing the unit, as the camshaft would not reposition itself, as it’s supposed to. The unit is not working and will not regenerate itself. Stay away from this company. Very time consuming process for claims and resolution and lots of hidden T&C. It's a pain and most of the rep's & service contractors are rude and un-friendly. Claim process takes forever and they don't cover what they promise at the time of selling.

The technician arrived on time. Spent considerable time diagnosing the problem and informing CHW what was needed to fix the problem. We received a response from CHW within a couple of hours on acceptance of replacement of the air conditioning unit. We are now waiting for an appointment to replace. I would recommend anyone buying a home on this warranty service. The technician was very good. I will definitely renew next year!

HVAC tech came out found the issue, took photos and wrote a summary then sent it in to Choice. They made a great decision. Now we are on our way to getting my new heat pump/ac installed. (Repairman) called me to tell me that he was going to house to “look” at AC not working about 1. Insisted on warning me it might take hours to get ok to fix. When I suggested he go so we could get it fixed today he got angry and hung up on me. When I called Choice back they told me we would have to pay $250 to get it fixed. Our contract is to pay $65. I asked for manager to call me back. A few hours later a “ manager” Natasha called me back. She was nasty and said work is not done on weekends, that “vendors” can handle jobs the way they want and I would have to get in touch w/ vendor for appt to fix. I called vendor and a day later no call back. Meanwhile my tenants have been in 90+ heat all weekend. This is disgusting service. Someone needs to address this immediately.

Called in a repair request. It took a couple of weeks to find a repair technician but the brand of washer kept being incorrect and it ended up over a month before Choice found Appliance Technicians Repair and Service LLC. Brandon responded the same day as assigned and was able to diagnose over the phone, contacted the manufacturer and got the parts shipped directly to me and responded the day the parts arrived to complete the repair. Very efficient and professional.

Denied to repair my hot water tank. I was denied on my last claim but after a hearing it was approved. But waiting for these is stressful because I still need a hot water tank. Had no hot water. This warranty was supposed to give you a peace of mind. Not so.

Service was decent but the price they offered (and wouldn’t budge on) wasn’t even close to the hat it cost to replace my dishwasher. I understand about age and all of the appliance but I expected at least half of replacement cost for a similar one. When assigned to a case manager, it was a full 3 weeks to get a meeting. Then 30 days to get the gift card to Lowe’s which limited my choice where to purchase. Not sure I’ll renew when it’s time.

My husband had heated several items in the microwave without issue. When he got to the last item, the turntable stopped turning and the microwave wasn't heating. I submitted a claim online that evening and two days later the tech was at my home. He initially thought he might have to order the turntable motor, but was confident that he could get it heating that day. Well, in less than two hours, the unit was 100% fixed. I couldn't be happier with the ease and speed in which the repair process took from submitting the claim till microwave was fixed! Very satisfied customer.

I will never recommend this company. They will use any means possible to deny a claim. After 3 years with a great home warranty company, I cancelled my plan with Choice Home Warranty after only one month into my plan with them. I returned to American Home Shield. You get what you pay for and you get a lot more with AHS! Costs a little more, but it is a no hassle company. Choice Home Warranty is very good at giving a customer the run around with a claim...and you better not want your problem resolved soon, it can be weeks.

We began our contract with Choice in April. In the last almost 2 months we have made 2 claims. In the first claim we had was our dishwasher. Because the serial number sticker fell off, the tech never even looked at it. They offered us $200 for a new one, which was closer to $100 after their fee. They also only give payouts with Lowe’s gift cards and you have to wait 30 days. So we still have no dishwasher, more than a month later.
Our water heater stopped working on 5/20/21. We filed a claim and a tech came out. Before he was able to look at the water heater, Choice denied the claim so he left. I called Choice and they said it was denied, just a misunderstanding, and that the tech would call soon to come back. When we heard nothing by the next afternoon, we called again and they said they just needed a price listing from tech, but it should be fixed within 24 hours.
Then today (5/22) I got an email saying it was denied due to lack of maintenance. I called and the rep told me it was because tankless heaters aren’t covered, argued with me for 30 mins before discovering they are covered. Then he said it was a maintenance issue, despite the tech never even being able to look at the heater to determine that. The representative said we could file an appeal claim, but wouldn’t tell us where to find the form. We want nothing more than to go back in time and not sign a contract with this sham of a company. This company is awful, they lie.

The price that was quoted for both, which was somewhat disappointing to me, was barely enough to pay for the washing machine alone. Because we have been loyal customers for over 3 years and never had to apply for a service request, it seem that would have been taken into consideration for me to at least get retail value for my appliances.

When the tech came the 1st time, he increase water pressure on master toilet to remove noise and didn’t have the fill valve to replace the other toilet. When the tech came the 2nd time, I mentioned to him the increased water pressure was causing another sound and asked him to look at it. He said he would but left before looking at it. I called to have my A/C unit looked at because my air conditioner was not cooling. The service man was great and on time. He took the time to explain to me what was going on with my A/C unit. The disappointment came when I was told my claim was denied. Your company makes it money off of telling consumers that if your company can't fix it that you will replace it. Well I was not asking for anything to be replaced. I choose to get a home warranty service because my home it an older home and with that being said things will break and need to repaired of replace. However if your company is going to deny small claims then what is the benefit to having your service.

The AC UNIT, a 3.5 tonnage 6 years old compressor failed. Why?? It could have been a dud from the assembly line, lightening or power surge. It failed and for 12 days and after paying for an electrician to say that power is at the unit. I am still being denied coverage or a few hundreds in order to repair my unit. This is stealing and not honoring the contract.
2. I called last Saturday morning about a s plumbing issue, waste line or sewage stoppage in both bathrooms and seepage into the kitchen sink. I never was assigned a plumber after hours of waiting, I had this matter corrected. Four days later AJ APPLIANCE TECH CALLED AND SAID THEY WERE 10 minutes away from the property. They were assigned to repair the sewage issue. I thank God that I had the issue repaired by 7:00 PM after waiting all day for CHOICE TO FIND A PLUMBER.

The representatives that I spoke with were most helpful. However, there are no excuses for the fact that my policy did not reflect what I paid for a year ago, requiring me to work through the resolution team to figure things out and finally resolve the issue. The holding time, transfer, and a "start over" for being disconnected made the entire process very time consuming. In addition, I should have easily been able to do on the website what I was able to do in person. Not a very user friendly experience. For any future claims I will definitely take the time to speak with someone in person.

My dishwasher stopped cleaning/drying dishes. This is my first claim. A technician came out within 2 days and I was notified that I could purchase a new dishwasher. The only option I was given was a Lowe's gift card which will take up to 30 days to receive. I went on the Lowe's website, they don't have any items with the preferred makers I liked in store, and nothing was available to deliver. I will not be able to use Lowes' and would just prefer the money myself since I have to go to another store. The rep that called me was extremely unhelpful. Would appreciate hearing from someone **.

To discuss claim, an appointment must be made; none are available in May, as of May 13, 2021. I accepted the offer of an e-card for $547.00 to replace the washer; it SHOULD be received in 30 days. The claim was made May 10, 2021: NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Still, no response from a Choice Warranty representative, as of today. Very disappointed and very dissatisfied.

Our disposal was inoperable and with chunks of rust in it. My husband and I made an appointment with CHW, then purchased the new disposal so it was ready for install at time of service. The service person came when he said and installed it quickly, nice man. However, after he left I ran the dishwasher and water flooded up out of the relief air gap on top of counter and we scrambled to mop it up. We called him right away and he said he knew exactly what he forgot, came the next morning and fixed it. All's well now, no flooding when dishwasher empties!

It's a part of my system but they say it's an add on and won't cover it. I am almost $1600.00 out of pocket because of the loopholes and lies the salesperson told when selling it. Reading the contract does not help unless you are an expert in the field of service you are requesting. A total joke. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CONTRACT. They will put it to you any way they can.

Garage door opener stopped working. When the tech came, he immediately noted the problem. Unfortunately, he noted the damage was not covered by the "warranty" and it would cost $220 for the repair. I had no choice. It seems that the last times I called for a claim, they were either not covered, or was offered a dollar amount for replacement. The amount offered has never been enough to cover the loss.

Not always easy to get through. Agents don’t easily accommodate the situations. Takes a long time for approval. Companies don’t offer several options for appointments, Leave prerecorded message with just one appointment option. Online not easy to place a call: only on laptop, not on phone

Albert from 24/7 Pool Service arrived on time as he said he would. He was most courteous & a good communicator, he diagnosed the problem quickly-expertly and now we have the pump operating beautifully after following his advice/instructions! Thank You.

I haven't received a comment or an answer yet from my warranty on my A/C unit that's been out for 2 days now. I called in 5/19/21 and still haven't gotten a call or anything and it's in the upper 80's here in NC. I understand that the unit is under warranty. Can you please have someone contact me as soon as possible to get this situation can get resolved.

My air conditioner wasn't working and Choice Home warranty sent out Air Zone agent, to fix my A/C. The first service guy, didn't know what he was doing the first day, he diagnosed my A/C wrong! So they sent another guy the next day and he did a great job diagnosing and fixing my a/c!

I have been dealing with this issue for the last two months. The assigned technician refused to honor the repair, Choice didn’t know how to resolve problem. Manager Alyssa took action and problem seems to be resolved. I’ll let you know if I’m satisfied when job is completed

Speaking to recorded voice did not accept or understand my response so I had to be disconnected and start over 3 times. Finally when I got a real person service was fine. Representative responded and acted immediately. Very polite. Do not cut me off like the recoded person who doesn’t understand when I say yes.

Luke was our sales person. He was very helpful in terms of explaining coverage and giving us guidance on different plans. He has been helpful with straightening out claims as well. He was unable to assist with our plumbing claim as he was on vacation.

I only called 45 minutes ago and put a claim in. Have not called back yet. Sure they will call back and schedule a service appointment. Have used them last year. They were very responsive and helpful.

The Customer service agent was very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend Choice Home Warranty for any home warranty needs, for any issues with their home. I would recommend not going without one. My air conditioner quit working and the customer service was right on it.

He spent time thoroughly checking all components of the AC including the blower. Said the unit was pretty efficient. When he had to go inside the house to check the blower in the attic he wore shoe protectors. All in all a good experience. Only thing is that the service fee has gone up. Again.

Great service and repair company. Best group I have ever had. The techs contacted me prior to arrival and arrived on time. Cleaned up after the repair. Both techs very clean cut and friendly. I'm not satisfied at all. My AC went out after a storm and Choice Home warranty refused to cover my ac system. The tech from Air Today company wrote in the report that the coil was dirty so therefore it was not covered. However the tech said my unit was old and needed to be replaced. Inconsistencies.

I needed a new shower valve installed and they have denied the claim because of the to calcium deposits. I think it is normal wear and tear. Not happy with Choice Home Warranty at this time. I would not recommend them and will not renew. They have set up a meeting next week to discuss the claim, so perhaps I will have a better outcome.

Problem with garbage disposal. I Could not make appt set for future date, so plumber came same date I called to reset apt. This was very much appreciated that I did not have to wait, as I could not use my sink or dishwasher. Plumber disassembled disposal and cleaned it out thereby fixing problem without my having to purchase a new disposal. He was very professional and very courteous and very prompt. Would absolutely recommend using him again.

Jay was very quick to respond, and very knowledgeable. He answered my questions and was very respectful of me. He got me a discount for senior citizen and veteran. The only thing that bothers me is that I had o decide right then to take the deal to get he discount and I would have liked to have discussed with my husband first. Also I don't like that the money is taken out immediately but coverage does not start at that time.

Signup was very easy. This is my first contact with the company. If service is as good as signup it will be great. My only reason for leaving the previous home warranty company was the customer service was pathetic. Individuals answering the phone lines could not understand what I was saying and I could not understand them either.

Last Saturday my tenant, who lives in Washington DC (I live in Los Angeles), contacted me to say the garbage disposal in her condo unit stopped working. I immediately filed a claim on Choice’s website. Within a short time I received an email with a service date and time for Monday morning. The technician, Tyrone ** from BME Services LLC, came on time, replaced the disposal, and all went well. I paid him the $85 service fee (plus 6% for the credit card charge fee) over the phone. I was satisfied with the process, the technician and his work.

Hi, Technician did his job well as far as replacing the coil outside however, he burned the fuse to my thermostat so the unit inside my house (thermostat) did not work. Tech replaced it with a used one. Not happy. The thermostat was dirty. I tried to Lysol wipe it down and still has a dirty debris on the side that does not come off. I don't know if that will cause a fire. I don't know for sure if he repaired the thermostat up in the attic correctly. I'm very concerned and scared now.

I have had great customer service with Choice, but I must admit I have had not so good experiences with some of the companies that were sent out to access and fix the problem. When I contacted choice about an issue with the technician that came, choice did what was necessary to rectify the situation.

Mike did a good job explaining the policy and the pricing. Trying to sell the 3 year program got a little long! Overall was a good experience and will look forward to using policy. The policy will ensure my home to be well taken care of when repairs are needed.

I had two seemingly trivial electrical problems:
1) Power socket in wall went dead. I asked that it be fixed. The repairman found that the socket was OK, but the next socket up the "daisy chain" had shorted out and burned. It could have caused a fire. That socket was hard to reach, behind a huge bookcase loaded with books. But the repairman got to it, and replaced the burnt-out socket.
2) An outdoor, motion-detect floodlight had failed. Could have been as simple as burned-out bulbs, but the repairman found that the motion detector had failed. He rewired the fixture to bypass the detector. That way, I could still use the floodlight from the switch indoors. He also said he would put in a work order to replace the unit.
Bottom line: two seemingly trivial problems turned out to be not so trivial, but the repairman fixed them both.

Another great experience. Tech appeared in the time frame set up previously. Determined the problem with my A/C quickly, and addressed the problem. Service call charge was reasonable, and the tech completed the repair in a timely manner! I’ve used Choice for other problems in the past and has always been pleased with the results!

Pool pump failed. Went 6 days without recycling water. Mustard Alga crap grew. Extra chemicals and time to clean were not consistent with why I got a warranty. AHS took a year to get my A/C straightened out. WRONG and they had my money and I had to learn a NEW language to understand people from ** Egypt. The Pool Tech that was professional and quick. I'm a Retired USN Chief Warrant Officer and F-18/F-14 Electrician-I know Proper Maintenance!

The subject line says it all. You refused to repair or replace my water heater which was covered under the contract and you did nothing. I had to pay for the entire unit myself and its installation. You refused to even send a technician out to look at the problem. The make things worst you are making me type more of a response to this input than I care to do.

Washer failed and requires replacement. CHW stated that they were going to replace it and offered me about 530.00. I tried to talk to them about how this would not cover anything close to my LG washer and actually you won’t find anything close to comparable for this amount. Then the person said well, we won’t cover ALL of it, we won’t cover retail pricing and we won’t replace by brand.

I put on the claim that the light fixture was "blinking" and the first thing the tech says when here is "they don't cover fixtures or the module that is used on ceiling box lights". Why have it as an option when making a claim when you won't cover?

Refrigerator did not produce ice or kept the refrigerator cool. I suspected a compressor issue. Ice maker did not make ice and went into the defrosting mode. Technician who responded got it fixed in about 30 minutes. Technician was very professional and explained the problems while working on the problem. I was very satisfied with the work performed.

I am very satisfied with the service that I received from Choice Warranty. I submitted my claim on a Saturday and I received services that following Tuesday. Prompt and very professional. I would highly recommend the HVAC technician who serviced my home.
