    Our kitchen spout has an option to use as spray for which you push the button on the side of spout. After 14 years the button fell off about a week ago. I saved it and now can't find it. If you use the sprayer daily how is this not normal wear and tear. Bathroom shower issue. About the same thing, the handle to adjust water temp suddenly came off. Again normal wear....what else could have happened? Anyhow I was told they would not cover it! Not too thrilled with your reaction to my problems that I think should be covered.

    I paid for this for additional coverage for my items in my basement as far as my pump in my refrigerator. Then I was told that this pump was not covered.     We had a contract for basically an old ac. Unit failed on Saturday and they couldn't provide service till Wednesday which in South Florida unacceptable. After 3 days of fighting and having horrible service providers sent we had claim denied. The network of service providers is below par, the customer service just provides countless obstacles to avoid payment. Finally after heated discussion we received a pro-rated rebate and cancelled contract. Should of know when we bought contract they kept offering free year’s added on a true sign of get what you pay for… Buyer beware. This is a horrible company

    My handle broke off in my shower. To change the water from tub to shower paid $65 just for the guy to come out just for him to talk to you guys and you to deny the claim one. Then when I was ready to cancel my policy they say, "We'll work it out. You just pay $75 more." I could have tried to get my own plumber to do it for that much and not be paying every month for this service and then you set me up with an appointment without asking me what I'll be there. I have to work. I can't just take off work at the last minute to show up for a plumber they had already been there that could have made the repair. This is not a good way to do business and I'm not going to be able to be there today between 7:00 and 11:00. I should have been notified before that appointment was made. I don't do business like this. I'm not happy right now

    I called to report a claim. When I called the gentleman that I talked to told me if I renewed that day, that I would not have to pay the $60 deductible on the claim that I had filed that day, if I renewed my contract. I asked him to send me an email with that information included in the email. He agreed. I never received the email. When I called back they told me that I would have to pay the $60. I was also told that I misunderstood. That was impossible because I asked the individual that I spoke to three times about not paying the $60. He assured me every time that I would not have to pay the deductible on the claim because I had agreed to renew my contract.

    After much frustration, I surmised that the gentleman was probably on a commission and they tell you anything (information in this case that was untrue,) just to get you to agree to another year of your warranty. I felt taken and I was. Not happy about that. Also the claim that I filed the technician that came took the microwave apart and thought he had fixed it but microwave door is still not opening as it should. Have no idea if it will do any good to call Choice again

    I waited on Choice to contact a plumber for over 3 weeks. Since George Foreman was endorsing your company, I contacted Mr. Foreman on Facebook and told him of my problem with Choice. 2 days later Choice contacted me about a plumber who will repair my problem. Then Choice refuses to pay a small $200 repair bill. That tells me Choice is a very cheap company. I paid the total bill. I am very upset with Choice. If Choice doesn't reimburse me, I will drop them.

    We, because of Choice Home Warranty’s poor service, have been without our washer for two months. The second technician said it was the control panel and that he would order the part and be back to fix it and took our $85. After over a month we never heard back from him. The third said it's the water pump because of “pet hair”. Obviously, he's been trained to say this so that Choice Home Warranty can weasel itself out of its responsibility. So, after paying premiums to Choice every month for 5 years and $85 to a technician we STILL don't have use of our washer and have to find someone else to fix it on our own. We will be calling the Attorney General of SC to report your shady business practices as well as the Better Business Bureau.

The springs are old, the garage door is in perfectly good working order and well lubricated and one of the springs broke - IT HAPPENS! But now I have to wait an unknown time frame to see if they "conclude the same thing". BAD BUSINESS MODEL - if the item is listed as covered and the item is in good working condition - THERE SHOULD BE NO QUESTION!!!!

    We had a washing machine go out. Repair guy came out and diagnosed it. He said the control board was bad, but due to its age it couldn’t be fixed. This was a $1300 washer. We were offered $340. That’s it. I submitted a review and was told it’s based on the capacity and efficiency. So I asked where I could buy a comparable washer for $340 and I’d gladly go there. I was then told it’s based on Choice’s cost to replace. So I again asked where they would buy a washer with that capacity and efficiency for $340 so I could go there. The man just kept saying the same things over and over. No REAL explanation was given. Just some crap about “well in the policy it says blah blah blah”.

    When you have a home warranty and something goes out you expect a reasonable replacement. That’s what I pay for. $340 for a washer is a slap in the face. We will NOT be renewing with Choice home warranty. Not to mention when they replaced my A/C unit last year there was nearly $600 in “uncovered expenses”. What a joke!

    Have warranty with you that took effect 8/05/21. Last Friday 9/24 went into the house and ac was not working. Filed claim, tech came out Saturday morning & advised it was compressor and he would have to come back Monday as parts supplies were not open. Instead of coming back your company asked to see my home inspection report which I sent you followed up with where a HVAC company also checked the units on 6/21 & said they were working properly. Choice denied our claim yesterday and advised that they thought this problem existed when the warranty took effect on 8/05. You are suggesting that for roughly 6 weeks we went without ac while people came in and painted (painter was there 3 weeks) carpet installers, blind installers, etc.. We're in the house in 90 degree weather with no ac which is crazy.

    I asked to have a conference to appeal the findings, was allotted a time of 12:12 today for 15 minute phone conference, was sent alerts every 15 minutes up to the last 5 minutes before you were to call and then no one ever called me. I sent messages about it and got no response. Not sure exactly what kind of company you are but I would have given you 0 stars if it had been an option. VERY sorry service.

The client doesn't know if it's a percentage amount of the job, or an arbitrary number, and given how the policy is sold (you'll only pay for the initial visit!), The lack of invoicing is misleading. Send an itemized invoice delineating what CHW is paying for as well as what is expected out of pocket expense so the client is informed.

    This was the second time you have sent A. Garcia Mechanical. The first time two guys tried but failed to clear our problem of both our toilets failing to flush properly. This time Johnny was sent alone (he was not part of the last crew.) He took a lot more time trying to find the problem. It turned out that plant roots were causing the back up in our system. He used a machine to attempt to clear as many roots as he could and recommended that we use a root killer from a local hardware store to help keep the pipes clear of roots.     Finding a servicer and getting a technician here in a timely manner again I cannot complain. My complaint is that the 30 day waiting period. It shouldn't be called reimbursement if we have to wait 30 days to get the payment for the replacement. Before you can purchase your replacement. I think if it's called reimbursement then we should be given an amount that we can purchase up to then submit receipts showing that purchase and then be reimbursed. Just my suggestion!

    The reason for the low rating is that I had to call Samsung since the part was a defect in the model. When I called the manufacturer, I was told it was not on recall etc. but after finally contacting a supervisor, they are going to fix it if it is the problem given or I will have to pay a fee. The service technician that came from Choice Warranty was excellent. My problem is that I paid the deductible for the visit for no repair. Does this mean that every time an appliance breaks down, I need to go through the hassle of calling the manufacturer first? I am considering cancelling this warranty. It was not a good experience.
