    It's a great thing to be responsive; however, the second I filled out the online quote it was just an overload. I had people calling me and emailing me repeatedly within the first few hours. A simple phone call and a simple email would have been more than sufficient. Also, when booking the policy, I don't know how many times I said I just wanted to sign up for 1 year and I was repeatedly talked to about a 3 year VIP plan. If I say No once then that no should be accepted and respected. It's very irritating. Perhaps if someone says no and you still feel the need to want to push something more then perhaps it should be via email. I do not respond to people continually trying to sell me something after I've said no. I don't like being pressured and I don't like being ignored when I've said NO more than once.

    Obviously Choice warranty did not feel a sewage backup in my basement was an emergency. They selected a company that was 50 miles away and couldn’t come to my house for 6 days!!! After contacting the plumbing company I was able to get them 1 day earlier. Although I was extremely happy with ollendick construction the wait caused me to experience 2 additional backups. The third back up contained human waste!! This is not only unacceptable but also a huge health code issue. I would highly recommend Ollendick Construction but am extremely disappointed in choice warranty!!!

    Was only offered $240 for a broken 5 year old Samsung dishwasher. When I disputed my claim the adjuster will only came up to $300. I told him this doesn't even cover half of a new lower end unit.     On 9/28/21, my dryer stop working I submit the claim #** and CHW assigned BIG TYME APPLIANCE REPAIR technician for 10/7/21. The technician never came or answer calls. I contact CHW and assign another technician, SEARS, for 10/26/21. Meaning almost a month later since I placed the claim. The SEARS technician was good and mentioned the dryer need a replacement part that he didn’t have at the time. He order the part and will come back to installed it in two weeks from the date he came. Bottom line: I will be a month and a half since I did the claim. And paying more money to dry my clothes because of delay. I called twice to put the complaint with a supervisor who also never called back. Very disappointed with the service and lack of pro activity to solve the urgent problem.     Upon initiating a claim Choice was unable to supply a satisfactory contractor to address the furnace issue. After many attempts and contact on my end I was given the option for reimbursement. My technician supplied a diagnosis and spoke with the authorization department. The demanded a second opinion. At this point they were able to find someone in my area that was qualified. They had scheduled me four days out. I have currently been without heat for 7 days and my home is at 47 degrees. I contacted the company and luckily they were able to come out same day. The diagnosis was exactly the same as the original.

    At this point the authorizations team denied my claim and stated that the component failed due to lack of flushing. I spoke with both HVAC companies and they both stated that flushing this part is not possible and my annual maintenance technician confirmed that they do standard drain pan clean out as industry standard. With the unit being 22 years old there was no surprise to anyone with HVAC experience that the secondary heat exchanger failed. Upon acceptable resolution I will modify this review.

    This company always finds a way not to cover claims. This year alone they have not covered 3 things I've needed help with. They find a way to use whatever the tech submits on your problem to deny your claim. Just now they told me they would not replace the motherboard in my garage door opener (which is covered) because the remotes can't communicate with the unit and they don't cover remotes. Any fool would know that the remotes can't communicate with a motherboard that needs to be replaced. Unbelievable. They schedule a call to discuss the situation but don't listen to reason. They are frauds and this is a gigantic scam. There is a class action lawsuit against them so beware!!!

    The rekey service was fine but I thought it was strange that the young man was working out of the trunk of his car to rekey the locks. He did not fix or replace the garage lock as asked (we knew there would be an additional charge) because he could not remove the current locking mechanism on the garage. Possibly a more experienced locksmith could have repaired or replaced the lock. As for the door rekeys, one of the handles on one of the doors rekeyed is loose. Well then it took 2 days to get Joe Lewis ** to call me. He denied of course saying premature failure meaning unit not cared for. Unit installed Jan 06 and manufacturer warranty on heat exchanger was for 15yr. I called AC company who installed and they confirmed it was out of warranty. He said I need to call carrier and get them to repair. Well first it's a Bryant. I did call Bryant and they confirmed it was 15 yr. on this model. Your agent has ways of looking up by serial number this info. Another delay tactic. This is your customer service. So what you going to do?? Terrible customer service. They went above and beyond to help me, even after Choice Home Warranty denied my claim saying the shower knob breaking off due to the age of the plastic parts was not due to normal wear and tear.     The tech came and indicated I needed a new seal around my freezer that was leaking. I get a determination from Choice that it is not covered because the seal was torn or detached. It was in no way torn or detached, but stretched due to condensation accumulating it the grove. I was denied my claim due to a false representation by the company. DO NOT USE THIS WARRANTY COMPANY. They try by all means not to pay valid claims that should be covered. I will be cancelling my warranty with them ASAP.

    I have two separate homes using Choice Home Warranty. I have seen good and less credible technicians. At one home, your warranty company installed a mother board in my washer. We were so happy with that claim. When they were called about the dishwasher, which needed a new latch, your technician said the part was not available and you paid us $246 on a new dishwasher. The new one cost $700 plus 100 for installation. My husband and I were less than thrilled.

    At another home I have, you told me you did not cover pop ups in sinks so I had to get a plumber to come in and that was costly.

    I recently had a dishwasher problem and the nicest professional came to the home and was able to fix the issue. He also provided educational information on how to keep it running. His name is Fernando ** and he is a jewell! I bet if he had been the technician for the first dishwasher problem, I would not have had to buy a new one! I am dropping the Home Warranty from Choice Home because I think your technicians are not of equal quality.
