Yes very happy with picking Choice over the other competitors. The staff here is very concerned with the problem that occurred at your household and take all the information. TJ arrived at my place during the time I asked. He was very professional while there. I asked for a certain time and he accommodated it. I was pleased with TJ's service and the fact that he checked things twice before he left. I appreciate the friendliness of the the office personnel also. They were all kind and courteous.

My stove was not working very well, a technician came to fix it, but He recommend to replace for a new stove, because the oven was wrong. Choice proposal for a new one was $338, but when I talked with a case Manager, she understood to me about the model of the stove and increase to $669. Very well attention of the customer representative.

The duo that showed up around noon indicated they were waiting for a call from us before responding. CHW indicated a window of 7:00 am-11:00 am to us so I didn't think we had to call for the OK. The two techs did a good job once they arrived. Just seems there was a slight communication problem on confirmation.

Tech was extremely knowledgeable about problem and had it repaired in minutes. He explained what he did and how to do it myself should the same problem come up again. The problem was my water line was frozen. Using hot water squirted into the water dispenser thawed the ice blockage and allowed water to flow again.

The technician was very cordial and assessed the problem in a very precise and efficient manner. He ordered 2 parts for the repair and I await his return when they are obtained. The dishwasher has been a very crucial part of the downstairs kitchen and its repair is needed before the upcoming holidays.

Serviceman was excellent. A relatively simple "repair," but he took the time to explain everything, and offered good advice on WHAT to do - and what NOT to do - to ensure best performance, AND how to actually fix and adjust the settings ourselves. VERY patient and wanted to be absolutely sure that we understood what needed to be done and how to best maintain. J&L Plumbing was superb. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Hot water heater was not working. Called Choice, they set up an appointment for someone to come by and look at my hot water heater. Clockwise Plumbing came out. They were very professional and was able to resolve the issue quickly.

I had my oven repaired. The repair person was polite, very thorough and open to explaining and answering questions. So glad I have this Warranty so I get great service at a fixed cost. I would definitely recommend Choice Home Warranty.

As a recent Choice customer, I was very surprised by how much I had to pay out of pocket when a Choice contractor installed a new water heater. I didn't think he did any work that went beyond standard installation to justify my out of pocket "non-covered costs" of $455! Choice was quick to support, so thank you. The contractor was very friendly and professional, and I appreciated that he was able to install it quickly. But my out of pocket costs were way too high for what appeared to be a standard installation of a water heater.

I felt that the technical expert knew what he was doing and gave great advice; he even offered a solution to help prevent damages in the future. However, I still feel like the issue is occurring and don't want to pay another service fee to have it looked at. Requesting the service online was easy and painless.

They saw a lot of dust in the back of refrigerator where the radiator is located. My refrigerator is old. Therefore there is a ton of dust built up. I was going to clean the area using a vacuum, so dust can be sucked up. They said radiator area is very delicate. I should not clean up. It requires a professional clean job. They told me it cost $50. They brought utility vacuum and blew off more than a decade old dust from the radiator area. Dust flew out all over the kitchen, breakfast area, and part of living room. Dust was fogged up whole area. They vacuumed bit of kitchen floor area but a decade old dust contaminated the counter tops, breakfast area, and living area as it flew off.
I don't think they should cleaned up a refrigerator the way they did. They charged me for this. For cooling down the compressor, they use wet towels (use my sink faucet) causing water dripping all over the kitchen floor. They did not clean the water dirty marks. Not happy with their service. Only reason I gave one is they fixed the refrigerator same day.

Cris from Sassanian Plumbing did a great job. He quickly diagnosed the issue. Put a temporary fix on it and was back the next day with the replacement hose. We would use him again in a heartbeat! We have him scheduled for a fix of our shower control valves.

I submitted an online claim and received service from Tier 1 Heating and Air, LLC. From my initial phone call from Michele ** to service Tech Charles **, we receive excellent service!! Prior to the the Tech arriving at my home I was on a video conference but the Tech went about his service, found the heating issue and fixed it. We have an antique light fixture that needed removal and replacement of a lightbulb that was stuck in the socket. Andrew took great care in fixing the lighting issue of this antique chandelier. We would call on him and Dewey's Electrical Services anytime.

They were unable to find a locksmith in my area but we’re able to let me do a reimbursement option so I could find my own tech. Customer service walked me through the process step by step and it was super simple and easy.

I was excited to find a home warranty that has good reviews and didn't seem like a waste of money. Then I tried to enroll and it was all wrong. I need coverage for my new home and I paid for a user using my card (which has the billing address of my current address) and now the coverage address shows as my old address. You cannot easily change the address. Well really I don't see that you can change it at all.

Microwave not repairable. Offered 191$ e-card for Lowe’s. Discussed with case manager Lydia ** that customers should not be limited to Lowe’s for their purchase due to limited choices and back orders everywhere. Was offered a check in lieu of e-card. Thought reimbursement was low since I had to purchase a new trim kit that was more than the microwave, plus installation charge is not offered.

I have been a customer of Choice for many years and have had great help from each and every person I’ve spoken with. The people that I have describe my problems to have been very helpful to me and it did not take very long for them to assign a technician to come out. I did ask for another claim on my refrigerator so that that could be done at the same time so I could save a little bit of money because I don’t have much. I have not received an answer for that yet. The dishwasher will be done tomorrow and I was hoping to get the refrigerator done as well. Thank you for all your help. Phyllis

After Florida Home came to my home for an annual HVAC check, they reported they found @$6000 in need of repair. I called Choice within a day. They sent “Love my AC”. What a blessing. He thoroughly inspected my unit and found l did not have what was reported by the other company. Furthermore he did find that I needed a charge and corrected it. He answered all my questions and explained everything to me. I would highly recommend Choice and Love my AC.

So far I'm very pleased with the repair of my dishwasher thru Choice. Within a day of making a claim I was set up an appointment to my a diagnosis of the problem. A part has to be ordered and within a week my dishwasher is being fixed. I believe that is very good turn around.

I decided to switch to CHW after compare their Total Plan with two other companies. The agent I spoke with was professional and knowledgeable and went out of his way to win my business by offering discounts that saved me quite a bit of money over a three and a half years. The garbage disposal is only 1/2 the size. Even the water doesn't go thru it as fast. The shower head was turn down. Claims state it was abused. Instead of defective. It sprays out of the side of the handle where the two pieces connect. There is no broken or missing parts. I clean the clue off the handle. I have pictures to show this if you want them. I placed glue on it so it didn't spray all over the ceiling. We needed to use it.

Sears appliance was sent to do our repair repair. Took 2 visits because part had to be ordered. Once part arrived they were back within 2 days. Both technicians were great! We had email day before reminding us of appointment time. They contacted us on day of service when they were on their way. Wore masks, were knowledgeable & professional.

Choice Warranty says, "If we can't repair it we will replace it." Good luck when you file a claim. They will do everything to avoid repairing or replacing without you dumping in more money. They act like they're doing you a favor when they will tell you they will cover a portion of the repairs. NOT acceptable when you have to dish out more money when you are already paying a premium for their services. It's all lip service and their appliance companies they send out will throw them under the bus about how they avoid paying claims. They don't deserve a 1 star rating...maybe 1/2 star. I still have an outstanding claim since June that has not been resolved.

They provide great customer service in a very timely manner. In addition they will send out only the best technician to investigate your service concerns and repair them as needed. I left this company because someone informed me that another company was better to only find out that it was not so. I’m not happy with Choice, not replacing part for part! This house was built in 1989 all original parts! So to try and give me a fan in my master bathroom without a light is crazy. How many people would go to a bathroom in the dark? It’s the only light in the bathroom! So for me having to pay to have it replaced is not right. I’d love for you to look into it.

Claim was executed fast and efficiently. Zazkary arrived and found out what was wrong and temporarily fixed the problem then ordered a new part. He returned 3 days later and made a permanent fix. Now we have heat and problem solved. Thank You!

I would rate zero if that was possible. I have never been treated as badly by any company the way I have been by Choice Home Warranty. The case managers I was assigned were unprofessional. I am cancelling my contract and looking for another Home Warranty company that would appreciate business and treat people with respect. I will never use this company again.

Still without a microwave, which is a great in-convenience. Choice has not approved part. This 2nd disappointment with Choice. M6 neighbors who have American Warranty Company get automatic replacements, no waiting around. I hope my micro can be approved for parts & service as it matches all my other appliances.

Service technician seems knowledgeable, but I am not happy with Choice Warranty. Claim was entered on Tuesday, 11/9. Closest appointment for technician to come by was late Monday on 11/15 (originally was for 11/16). Now we wait for the replacement part for up to two weeks and then another appointment. You may be somewhat cost effective, but I’m not sure the long wait time for initial visit and follow up are worth it.

i raised claim 2 weeks ago, tech came promptly but updated that the part required to fix is no longer available. then my claim was approved for 329, which was upgraded to 1000 yesterday, this will help me buy the replacement for my wall oven ... Cheapest wall oven with convection is 3600 :-(

Once he got here he was ok, but. He was from Massachusetts and he really did not want to be here in Maine. Choice set one appointment and he claimed he did not get it. Then once he got here it appeared he didn't know how to repair our double ovens and told us it was the circuit board, but that's not what he told Choice. After that when Choice approved the repair it was very clear he did not want to do the repair. He kept trying to talk us into taking the money Choice would have spent on the repair and putting it towards a new double oven, which Choice did not offer. He talked about how hard it would be for him to get to the elements that needed repair, how heavy the double ovens were. It was very obvious that he did not want to repair the ovens.

The technician called to say he was running late and will arrive after the scheduled time. When he checked the dishwasher he stated that the remaining water come from suds dissolving. The solution was to use less soap (currently using Cascade with Dawn additive.) Also to run the dishwasher adding white vinegar to the rinse. This will cut the amount of soap in the drain. I've noticed the reduction in water left in the bottom after following his suggestion.

The technician was professional, courteous, and on time. The warranty company did not provide the accurate phone number for the tenant, but thankfully the technician reached out to me to verify the number. It's important to relay this information accurately. The technician did a great job in relaying information about the appliance diagnosis. It will need to be replaced and glad that Choice Warranty is providing that coverage

Our wireless garage door panel stopped working and we were unable to reprogram it to open and close our garage door. The Technician called us on our appointment date to notify us of his ETA and kept us informed up to his arrival. Once he arrived, he reprogrammed our wireless garage door panel within minutes. Code is working perfectly now.

I submitted a claim and within 30 minutes received an email with the service provider information. The service provider then emailed me an appointment time and date with the flexibility to change the appointment time and date. On said day and time, service provider came and fixed my A/C issue. Awesome customer service from Stay Cool heating and air! So glad I bought the Total Plan warranty. It's just 1 less worry in this busy life of ours!!

The filing of a claim was very easy. The response time was the best as it was filed on a weekend. The response repair service was a well know reliable company. As the part was not in stock for the dishwasher, we understood. As really parts are slow and hard to come by this day in age. I got a great deal on the 5 year plus 1 free added year package (pre paid). Transferable to another home or given to buyer of our home, if we ever sold. A+ happy so far.

Just purchased a home and purchased Choice about two weeks before closing and representative tells me that I am not covered until 30 days after purchase. Never mentioned in the conversations with the company during the purchase or I would have choose another home warranty. Told me that I have to call someone in the morning to explain to me that I am not covered. Told me that they have to make sure all appliances are good; well that would be the same reason I purchased a home warranty. So he ends the call because I had a couple of choice words for him, and in the meantime I have water going on my floor and into my walls to the adjourning room. You know I could see if this was something that I brought into the house, but it came with the house. Thanks Choice for your evasive repair action.

I had no trouble in getting my appliances fixed. The technician was really helpful. The original manufacturer parts were replaced. The technician came at the time promised. He also found parts which failed and suggested exactly what needs to be done.

At the moment, I can not say much as the fridge tech person will arrive in a few hours. Two things seem to be malfunctioning; it is leaking and the fridge will not dispense water. We shall see what the tech person is able to do. However, I was happy that a tech person was dispatched within 24 hours.

The process was seamless. I sent the claim in. I received a call the same day even though it was Sunday. Dustin set up a time to assess the issue. He confirmed the claim. We scheduled a time the following week for the repair. It was done timely and properly. He was very polite and helpful.

The toilet in one of my bathrooms was constantly running. The plumber arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and quickly. At this time that toilet is running as it should be. The plumbers were friendly, courteous and experienced.

I sent problem email to CHW on Oct 27, 2021, frig and freezer Whirlpool. Not working. CHW sent email appointment for Nov 2nd, with APPLIANCEFIXITS.COM. I felt seven days was too long to wait for tech, talked with rep at CHW. Appointment cancelled by CHW. I waited 24 hours (give or take a few minutes) till next day, before I received another appointment. The next appointment was emailed to me for nov 11th, by A&E factory service or Sears. During the 24 hour period, I was waiting for another appointment, I received many emails from CHW to take a reimbursement and find my own technician.
I finally had to send email, that I did not want a reimbursement, then they immediately found A&E or Sears tech (Nov 11th). During this time, I was working out of a small cooler, to feed me and my son, bag of ice everyday Nov 11th Sears tech arrived and repaired refrig and freezer, small thermostat, replaced. Check your notes and see if you would have been happy, choosing CHW. Joseph **, claim **, policy **.

Glad Choice Home Warranty agreed to replace our broken dishwasher, extremely unsatisfied with the $246 they will put towards a new one. Dishwashing units these days start five, six hundred dollars. Also will take a month just to get those funds!

This is my first time filing a appliance casualty with Choice. I did it online and was very happy with the ease of filing. The repair service response was well with reason and although the repair has not been completed yet since parts were required, have dealt with this repair service in the past, I feel that I will be happy with the outcome although it still remains to be repaired.

I filed a claim for a broken washing machine over a month ago and still have not had it repaired. The first repair company cancelled on me twice, the second one came out, determined the part they needed to fix it then didn’t show up or contact me when they were rescheduled to perform the repair. I feel that it is completely unacceptable to wait for a covered repair on a daily use appliance for over a month. I cannot recommend Choice Home Warranty, service has been unacceptable.

I have above stove microwave. Decide best Choice warranty for their benefit was buyout which don’t even cover have the cost of low grade same model for one. Technician was great. Very professional but once the claim was submitted to replace Choice denied me wrongfully for a dishwasher that was covered and inspected before closing. It was fully operating and it is a system that is covered under the policy.

Had trouble with my ice maker, put in a claim, less than 24 hrs a Tech was on his way to diagnose my refrigerator. He came diagnosed the problem and told me that it was my ice maker chute bin. He ordered it to be delivered to my house, it came. I installed it and now I’m back up and running. Been with Choice for over 5 years and so far no problems.

Hallway electric light switches were not working which was causing the lights to stay on constantly until unscrewed bulbs. The electrician resolved the issue in about 10 minutes. He was very nice but was mistaken about my service fee. Luckily, he rechecked it and everything was fine.

I did not know that Choice denies all claims where RUST is involved; I guess that is my fault. Sears tech came and saw that the freezer doors track was broken due to rust. The freezer was not defrosting properly and the freezer filled with frost combined with a leak from my ice maker which was replaced by Choice a year ago. My tech had to wait for 30 minutes for Choice to answer the phone while he sent pictures and parts needed. Again the tech waited 15 minutes for a reply that they would not repair or replace. They gave no reason at that time. I appealed the decision and scheduled an appointment to talk on telephone with a rep who said, "We do not cover rust damage." When they saw the tech's pictures, why did they not just say this in the first place? I still have a year left, but I will not renew. The tech told me that they dislike dealing with Choice.

My claim was raised two weeks ago for a leak from my guest bathroom toilet which is also impacting the ceiling in my garage, the service order was sent to a provider with whom Choice Warranty partnership was discontinued and until the day of service no one from choice warranty informed the same. Fortunately a representative from the service provider contacted me and informed that they have discontinued the partnership and no one will come to my home to repair the leak, post which I contacted choice Home warranty representative and raised the need to change the service provider to a new one until this point even the choice Home warranty representative did not know that the partnership is discontinued. As a customer when the situation is about a leak in the house which could cause damage to the ceiling and the way the claim was managed did not give me the right level of comfort and confidence.

I called Choice on a Friday to have them look at my Ice make that was freezing up & not making ice. They set up an appointment with Sears for the following Monday between 8am & 12PM. I got many confirmations that the appointment was going to happen. I sat at home waiting & getting the messages until 12 pm had passed. I went on Sears website & got a message that I had canceled the appt due to a family emergency, I had not. I called them & was told that their tech had the emergency. When asked why they hadn't notified me all they could do was apologize & set another appt for 2 weeks later. Choice told me to go find my own tech.
I waited the 2 weeks & a tech showed up, diagnosed the problem & was going to order parts. He was here about 1/2 hour & submitted the claim. It didn't take choice much more than a minute to deny the claim & tell me to turn it in to Samsung, I have done this & Samsung is coming out to warranty it. My complaint is why put me through all this hassle & expense when their claim specialist could have told me from the start that this is a common problem with Samsung Refrigerators & referred me right away.

The people that we paid and that were sent to fix the problem were unable to climb on the roof to reach the clean out for the sewer line. We had to call another plumber and pay out of pocket for the repair. When I called back and explained the situation and sent a copy of the paid invoice to your representative (Mr. K. **), he apologized and will be sending reimbursement for our out of pocket expenses. Waited 4 days for a service guy to come. Everything seemed fine but the service guy canceled service the next day. Choice would not expedite the service and said it would take 6 hrs for a service co to accept the job then it would depend on their schedule how soon they would get to the job. I can’t wait another week for hot water so I’m doing the job myself and suing them for breach of contract.

Brian from Delta Electrical Solution LLC arrived promptly. The vendor had a great texting system which gave you a 30 minute heads up on the technician arriving and this was great and convenient. When he arrived I showed him the issue. He did about 30 minutes of investigative by checking outlets and switches and found the culprit- an old electrical outlet that was not working and causing so many issues with just our master bedroom electricity. Once he replaced that outlet the electricity was back! It was about an hour or so door to door. He was pleasant and nice and cleaned up as well. Super pleased!!! Will be requesting him again if we have any issues.

My gas water heater started to leak. Choice agreed to replace it. That sounds great till there they tell you there are charges for installation, disposal, and required building code upgrades. Choice points you back to the installer to answer questions, but the installer was not told the details like make and model of the replacement water heater. They only know it is a 50 gallon heater but no idea on BTU or warranty period. Warranty run from 6 to 8 to 12 years. My existing one is a 12 year warranty.

My repair call was for plumbing issues as my dishwasher, kitchen sink, and utility sink were all backing into one another. I put in a request and had an email the next day with an appointment scheduled for the repair. This is the biggest fraud of a company I have ever dealt with. I’ve unfortunately been a customer of Choice for many years and can not believe how they process a claim (or refuse to, actually) after paying thousands in premiums.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Put the premiums in a savings account instead and you will have the money needed for an appliance breakdown soon enough.. Choice will only steal your money, NOT repair your item, or at very best case- give you 1/4 of USED replacement value- NEVER ACTUAL VALUE!! I have literally been waiting 11 months and counting for them to repair my appliance and when my a/c needed repair (warranty stated it’s covered), they refused the claim and I was out of pocket $600+ PLUS my premiums!! There is a massive lawsuit against them right FOR GOOD REASON. I would LOVE to know how to be a plaintiff!! YES IT IS THAT BAD!

I think that Choice should add more things that they could cover in home warranties. Like everything else prices increase and the coverage should increase also. Some people are senior citizens or on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay the $85 service fee and another fee, if the warranty does not cover it.

As usual, it is your policy to deny any claim that might actually cost you money. The refrigerator is 8 years old. I have been a policy holder for most of that time with your company. In the time I have been with you only once did I not have to sue you or threaten to sue you for your efforts to find an excuse not to cover a claim. Every part of that door is stainless steel or exceptionally strong materials except the handle. Normal wear and tear after 6 to 8 years would dictate that the break is a possibility. Tried everything I know how to reprime my pool pump and it just wouldn’t take. I finally called CHW to have them send out a pro. A week later they were here and had the problem fixed in less than 10 minutes. Turned out to be a broken diffuser inside the pump. Incredibly he had one in his truck. Great job! I would highly recommend them.

Our shower nozzle stopped turning completely. So it got stuck in the on position. We had to shut off water to the house. I submitted a claim that night. By 12pm the next day they still didn't have anyone to take the claim to come out and do the work. They offered the reimbursement options and I'm glad I did not take it. When my claim was accepted, the plumber appointment was set for literally a week after...a week with no running water? Yeesh. So I called the plumber that had taken my claim for a more convenient appointment time. He was so so nice. He had a cancellation and got us in the next day. The reason for three stars is that Choice tried to get out of paying for the repair and replacement. That is super sketchy and pissed me off. So just be aware, as all companies do, these guys try to skimp out. Kerala, my shower was fixed and I'm glad I have the home warranty. I will probably get it for another year.

Plumber was very professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately because Choice warranty only gave instructions to repair a clog he could not fix the leak even though he said he had the part to do so. He said he had to get another choice warranty approval that would take 24 hours. Other warranty companies allow for contractors to call them to clear up errors like this. I will not renew my contract unless choice warranty changes this policy.

The time that Choice Warranty took to find someone to respond to my home was unacceptable. I understand that this is a busy time of the year for HVAC employees but I had to call numerous times before CW for back to me. The company that did come out was excellent and I have no complaints with their service or the technician that came to my house. I really feel that CW dropped the ball and left me with no heat for over 2 weeks.

First, Steve of Steve Appliance Service was great, but again Choice Home Warranty finds a way to not cover an item. The first was a dryer that almost caused a fire in my house. I had to pay out of pocket for a new dryer. Another time you found a way to not cover. So at this time I'm not at all happy with Choice Home Warranty.

Choice warranty offered me $546.00 to be paid within 30 days in the form of an e-gift card to Lowes. This is suppose to be the quickest way to replace my washing machine?? I need the card today...

In approx 13 hrs (the next morning) after I submitted my claim I received and email that an appt was scheduled for later that day. About 1 hour before the appt, I received a call from the technician that he was available and to confirm if someone would be there. I confirmed I would be home and in 45 mins he was at my home. His diagnosis confirmed what I thought was the problem and he ordered the necessary replacement part.

I couldn’t believe the response I received from the one, and only call call I made. Almost immediately I was contacted by the assigned company. They arrived as scheduled and very quickly identified the problem. The technicians were very respectful of me as a senior citizens.

The buy-out offered was substantially lower than my replacement cost. The claims agent was personable and detailed. I accepted her second offer and am replacing the unit. I have top end KitchenAid appliances and was not aware that the contract did cover the similar replacement value.

It was a blessing that we found Choice Home Warranty when we thought of finding one for peace of mind. True enough one day we needed to call them for our washer and they sent help right away, though we just have to wait for our e-card since our washer’s parts was no longer available and needed to replace the whole unit. Overall it’s a big help.

I bought service from earlier this year because they said they would give me two months for free. Two months into service my AC quit working so I called for a repairman. The first company they set up did not know how to work on my AC. The second company came over and told me and showed me a starter had burned out on the compress and could have burnt up the compressor also. I stayed with him the whole time he was here. Later that day I get a e-mail denying my claim saying I came into the contract with bad equipment even though it had been working fine. I complained to Choice and they said they would have someone review the claim.
I never could get anyone to answer the phone, return messages or e-mails. I had to get in touch with them using the BBB. There replied to the BBB saying it was determined that I 4 lbs low on Freon when the repairman never even checked the freon. I even called the repairman and he told me he had never talked to anyone from choice. He told me that on the computer he put down what was burnt up and he did not say anything about being low on freon. I REQUESTED A REFUND ON 9/17/2021 and I still have not received it. I had to put in a new complaint the the BBB. If I could I would rate this company as 0 stars.

I can not believe my repair was denied. I have had regular maintenance on my heat and cooling system. It went out last week and should have been covered. This is starting into winter and I have no heat. I am going to request a full refund on my warranty with you. Very disappointed!!

Tech was very nice who came out. Your service team is rude and treats people like garbage. Using "Google" to dispute claims. I feel like after paying for coverage y'all are being dishonest and biased in y'all's evaluation of the situation. Saying things like: "we aren't even looking at the photos, [Your plumber sent], In making our decision". It's very difficult to pay for a service, and then a call out fee, and then have to fight with people who are supposed to help you. I think your service is most likely based on claim denial and the power to dispute/collect by customers being limited. I will not be using your service going forward, I would not suggest you to friends, I will post negative things about you on social media, and I think from top to bottom y'all are crooks.

I have been depending on CHW for my appliance repair for a few years. I am using them based upon recommendations from friends and family. I have been mostly satisfied with them since the beginning. I have recently had a recurring repair on a refrigerator that the repairman said I would. He says that it has a restriction in the system somewhere. Well his recommendation is a replacement, but CHW says to repair it again. You're telling me that I am going to loose my frozen foods again. Not happy. Looking for another home warranty company. Don't get me wrong I have been happy until now.

Technician seemed very thorough and the verdict by Home Warranty was to replace Dryer. Offered $399 at first and then only $50 more and stayed steadfast with that amount. Wouldn't even replace 'equivalent' dryer as I had a steam de-wrinkle option. Luckily Lowe's had dryers on sale and I managed to get a close to original Dryer for 750. So far my experience with CHW has been a less than experience.

Clothes washer issue. Choice recommended replacing instead of fixing the issue, but did not offer comparable pricing to replace the washer compared to what the washer cost retail in the first place because they claim to work from wholesale replacement cost to a customer that cannot buy wholesale and a price that was about 1/3 the cost when purchased.

The intake rep at Home Warranty Company was polite and knowledge. A service company advised of an appointment early the following week. The tech, Eduardo came on time and was exceptional. I had a disposal which had to be replaced after troubleshooting. Instead of tech ordering a replacement which manufacturer was unknown (I had a badger) I offered to provide a new replacement disposal so all the tech had to do is remove the old one and pop in the new universal fitting one. He received approval from the Home Warranty Co to do this and completed the installation flawlessly. This limited another visit and Choice warranty incurred NO expense for the replacement garbage disposal because come contract renewal, they keep track of what the end cost is for this service call and any other during the contract period in order to determine new cost of future contract.
Here's the rub. Everything was completed on the first visit. I got three separate communications re a return appointment with three different dates and times. I finally communicated with choice advising that job was done on first visit and to please close the service request. Normally I would not have gone to this length but last spring, I requested a service visit because water in house was not hot. The vendor sent an inexperienced plumber or sorts and he tried many things including replacing fittings on water heater and shower but still no longer had hot water. After 5 visits, I reminded him that on the first visit I indicated there was a valve under bathroom sink that probably controlled the tub water via mixing valve and he refused to look at it. On the last visit he did agree to look under the sink and indeed there was a mixing valve that controlled the adjacent tub and replaced it.
I was then asked to pay an additional service visit charge which was disputed and also showed that I had two separate claims for the same problem which will be taken into consideration when they premium rate me for next year's renewal if I choose to stay with Choice. It seems every contact including a manager at Choice had a different opinion re two service charge for the same problem but in the end when you report no hot water any longer the ticket should be left open until the issue is resolved.

However, since I had such a good result on the repair previously, I have this company doing my yearly services. When I called them personally with the claim number, they came out the next day.

After taking my financial info, I did not receive policy info. I was signing up for elderly mother, I explained she could not afford more than month to month. Although I appropriate the savings offered, he then abruptly said, this is monthly payment and hung up on me. Now, my mother does not have any policy info or login info. I was going add my property, but again, he hung. I spoke to someone a few minutes later, and he helped my my policy.

I called in a claim on my dishwasher and the next night found out my oven wasn't heating. Called that in and was able to schedule both repairs at the same time. Customer service rep was easy to understand and took care of everything.
