The technician named Stan was great, and I appreciate his service, however I will not be renewing my home warranty with CHOICE when it expires. The claim has 2 issues that are plumbing related but you all are still trying to charge me an additional service fee, and the plumber is able to fix both at the same time! I also called in September and a plumbing issue was not fixed but I still paid the service fee!

I am very pleased with the repairman. He was great! HOWEVER, you deciding a part cannot possibly break on its own is NOT TRUE. That fact you denied that the latch broke from use is just not true. It worked and then didn't work. There was no incident that caused it to break. It must have broken during the wash cycle. If you decide to do the right thing and replace the detergent door, I can amend my review.

I reported a plumbing leak in my basement on Thursday morning. The next available appointment was Monday 11 A- 3P. After agreeing to that I realized I had a medical visit in a neighboring city during that time. NO ONE AT CHOICE provided me a claim number nor a telephone number for the plumber. After MULTIPLE calls I got the number and rescheduled for Tuesday 12p -3p. He arrived late BUT he fixed my leak. It makes it harder to stay your customer with response times like this. I have had both shoulders and a knee replaced and my wife is disabled and bedridden. I cut off the water at night to minimize the leakage. ALL IN ALL, not a pleasant 5 days.

They mostly find a reason to not repair! Not much help, can't find anyone to discuss except sending messages. Once they reject a claim, no change even if rejection was based on faulty information that is not accurate. Waste of time and money. I will not be using in future and will consider other options.

I initially wanted both a dryer and dishwasher repaired, however a friend offered to give me her dryer, so I cancelled the order for dryer repair. Unfortunately I had ordered both repairs the same day, and even though they were different numbers, when Choice warranty cancelled with the repairman it sounded as though everything was cancelled. Thankfully when I called him, he was able to come and take care of the dishwasher problem. He was very efficient and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Also, I had mixed messages coming from Choice Home Warranty when I first had 2 issues. The dryer issues came back saying no technician was found so I could find my own. It was during that time I found out my friend was trying to sell her washer and dryer, so I cancelled the order. In the meantime, somehow the same technician said he would look at the dryer as well as the dishwasher, and the note came back from Choice warranty that $0 to pay the technician. Only the next day did it say "$45" to pay technician, and this was after I had cancelled the dryer order. This was all confusing at best. So if nothing else, I learned never to submit 2 claims on the same day even though they have different claim.

I was informed I need a new thermostat, thank God nothing more. Now hopefully I won't have to wait too long for a replacement. I know from past experience that this may take a while, maybe someone will contact me soon. I'm just thankful I have this warranty to see me through; especially with the hard times our country is going through.

Claim denied. Customer Service unable to help. Assigned to a Case Manager who never reached out to me after leaving an email and voicemail. I was left with no explanation just a denied claim. Communication is awful it's been 4 days not a word or email from anyone.

We are happy with the service we received and the contractor sent out; however, it would be nice if the contractor contact you before they schedule the appointment. The original appointment scheduled did not work with my schedule and I had a hard time getting in touch with them to reschedule for another date. Other than that, we are happy with the warranty company and the contractor.

The repair person came and was able to get approval and replace the disposal in one trip. Danny from Rental Fixers was in and out in no time. Choice Warranty has great repair people which helps the process go faster.

This is the 3rd time I had to get repairs done with 3 different appliances and notes and service representatives didn't convey necessary information to the repairman. I'm still with the company because I believe it will rectify their business shortcomings and build better customer care and repairs should need fixing every 3 - 6 months if it was done right.

Edwards Plumbing was very professional and very knowledgeable. On time and very polite. Would recommend Edwards for all plumbing jobs in their designated coverage area. The representative from Choice was very helpful, some confusion with dates and times but eventually got straightened out.

The technician was knowledgeable and friendly. He tried several things to make sure he hadn't missed something. He understood what I wanted. In the end he was able to resolve my issue. The arm on top was defective and he was going to order another one.

I called Choice Home Warranty, to file a claim, the power switch to my garbage disposal was not working.. They scheduled an appointment for me and the electrician came to my home and repaired my switch. it only took a few days and I am completely satisfied. Thank you.

Had an issue with my hot water heater, and the first guy that was sent out was arrogant, and talked very bad about y’all. Reported that it looked like I did something. Had to go to supervisor to get it approved.

I just had my first service call with Choice Home Warranty. I had been an AHS customer for more than 20 years but grew dissatisfied with many aspects of their service. My phone call was quickly answered by your agent (who communicated beautifully over the phone…a rarity with AHS.). Within an hour I had an email stating that my order was assigned to Performance Mechanical and someone would be at my home between 7-11 the next morning. At 8:30 Anibal ** arrived and at 9:30 problems were resolved. Mr. ** was clean (wore booties), professional and very informative as he did his work. I’d like to commend him. Overall, a very positive first experience with all aspects of your company. I am already recommending you to my friends.

My freezer was working when they came but wasn't when they left and part they ordered was over a week out. Luckily I did a master reboot and freezer came back on or I would have lost everything I had in freezer. I hope it continues to work till my part comes in.

The claim was approved for 2 garage door openers but the company was only given $310 for the entire job - according to HomeGuide, the average total cost to install a garage door opener is about $250 to $500. As you can see from the claim- both garage doors were approved but the repair company claims that they were nicely asked to reduce the price in order to get the claim approved. They say that you normally pay $250 per garage door – is this true? This should not be the case. We were told that any electrical item that was covered would be replaced with a comparable items with similar features at only a $65.00 charge to us.
Please let me know what I need to do to get this resolved. I am currently out more than the $65 out of pocket that I was told I would be to get a repair fixed with this home warranty. I understand the problem was both garage door openers were failing at the same time- makes sense they were both installed at the same time. I would appreciate some sort of explanation and resolution to this problem.

Only a month after moving into my new home, the lights and outlets in one of my bedrooms stopped working due to a bad breaker. Luckily, I have a home warranty through Choice Warranty. It was very easy to schedule service on the website. The work was scheduled immediately, and I was only on the hook for the $65 service fee.

I just expected it to be fixed when he came out. I have no heat I have a 96 year old mother living with me and I didn’t think I would have to wait until November 22 to get it fixed. It’s almost a full month. I really didn’t expect that he was here less than 5 minutes and charged $85 and never fixed the problem. That’s hard to accept. The temperature is supposed to be in the 30 over the weekend. A little disappointed.

The technician from Feniv's AC came and he was very professional, he knows what he was doing. I have a problem with my AC unit was not running very well. The service was fast and accurate, very nice. I love how Choice handle my claim too.

The exclusions associated with the determination of replacement for hot water heaters are constructed to deny valid claims of replacement. You advertise if a major appliance cannot be repaired it will be replaced. I have a technician report from your technician that the water heater needs to be replaced. Et the claim was denied.
Additionally, the escalation process is totally broken. To be required to wait over a week to speak to a manager on a claim dispute is non-responsive when a major unit like a hot water heater is the subject of concern. I need a water heater for my family. I need Choice to replace my failed water heater. Who do I speak to to get this done. I paid for coverage for this type of incident. HELP ME!

Keith was our plumber on three different occasions. He was very kind and respectful towards our family. He was also very knowledgeable. Dynamic plumbing make sure to keep this employee around. Scott was very professional & kind. The issue was not covered under the warranty so he provided how to fix instructions & showed me where to find the missing handle part as well as the cost. Choice has refused to pay any portion of repairs. The reason given was wrong. Stated a pipe had leaked due to rust or corrosion. It had neither and technician had not reported rust or corrosion as cause of leak. Please review this claim.

I had to reschedule the original appointment time that CHW confirmed, but was able to call Weave Electric and reschedule at my convenience. The service call was answered within the scheduled time. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem and let us know the issue with the refrigerator. We are currently awaiting the scheduled appointment for the repair. He was polite and professional.

My experience with Choice Home Warranty. The service man was very polite. He listen to what I had to say and also answered all my questions about my repair. I would recommend Choice Home Warranties to my friends. The only complaint I would had my appointment was scheduled between 7 AM to 11 AM. Someone should've called to let me know that the service person would be late.

Diagnose the seal was bad right away and in and out in 20 minutes. The plumber was on time as stated. I have been using Choice Home Warranty 4/5 years and have never had a problem. Last summer my air conditioning unit went out. I had a new one within a week, works great and I'm very happy with it

Tech pretty much saw how the toilet was acting as not much more than a normal problem. After advising needed approval for replacement of flushing assembly, would return the next day and able to fix the problem. Turned out problem a little bit bigger than just flusher assembly, with replacement of bad valve, if I got it right. Anyway, fixed, and no more water running into toilet bowl since!!!

The exhaust fan/warm air blower in my bathroom broke recently. I registered a claim online and the repair technician called the next day and had it fixed 2 days later. It was a complicated little unit so it was more expensive but the warranty covered it. The technician also was competent and friendly.

A friend recommended me. I read a couple of reviews. Still not really sure about this. This company has better reviews than most. The salesman seemed to be fair but you never know. I'm still checking around. If this works for me. I will certainly let my veteran friends know.

Technician was very nice and professional. Let me know right away what was wrong with the water heater. Yet We are very disappointed at Choice Home for not approving a replacement of a 20yr old water heater. Will not recommend this home warranty and will write a review on their website.

The first firm that was supposed to check my hot water heater failed to show up. Choice assigned another provider, Mr. Rooter of Galveston, Tx. They arrived promptly and sent a technician who was excellent. My issue was corrected and restored to working order. We were very excited to purchase a home warranty and felt like it would provide us with the security against problems with appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical etc. It seems like we are always met with why our claims aren't covered, even though we follow all the rules and maintain our home. For our recent furnace experience, it took way too long and we ended up having to only find a service provider. That was fine except the provider then had to jump through hoops to get approval to repair our furnace. Our furnace has major issues that need to be repaired and we are met with reasons it is not covered although all the problems are from normal wear and tear. Hopefully Choice will be there to help us in the future but we are very skeptical. We have several family and friends that were waiting to purchase a home warranty but were waiting to find out what our experience with Choice would be; we are hesitant to recommend Choice Home Warranty.

The air handler to my A/C stopped. Filed a claim online. Received a confirmation from Choice and they sent for a mechanic. About 20 minutes later, Received an appointment for 3 days later. One hour later Received a call confirming location and quantity of units and confirmation of the appointment. Pending the response and support of the repair.

Furnace repair. We used J&D service. They did a good job and was on time. They were professional and answered all question. Sometimes Home Choice makes you jump through hoops to get reimbursed i.e. want pictures, plate number, Etc. The servicemen do not want to deal with stuff like that and will not take the job.

I have excellent experience with the technician, he behaved like a professional in his work. But my experience with this guarantee is not good, because when I took this guarantee they told me that I did not have to pay for the parts and today I paid $650. I only had to pay $65 for each visit and it is not fair that I lied to myself.

Two Anchors Plumbing responded within 2 Hrs after submitting repair request, arrived that afternoon, assessed the situation and replaced leaking drain valve. Entire process start to finish less than eight hrs. Very satisfied customer. Highly recommend Two Anchors Plumbing and Choice Home Warranty.

I appreciate that Choice Home Warranty is willing to cover all parts on the fridge but they are very difficult to deal with when it comes to making a claim and talking to a live person; I really don’t like being forced into using an automated claim system. There is more than one thing broken on my fridge and They are not understanding that I need two different service orders.

Rip Rock came in less than 2 hours, representative was kind and courteous, my control panel was not working properly and they will order me a new one. I will recommend Choice warranty and Rip Rock for repairs.

When I first called to renew my warranty with Choice, your phone system doesn't clearly state which number to press for renewal. I pressed number 1 because it seemed the closest to what I needed to do. I don't remember the person's name but he was very helpful. However, when I asked him if there was any new coverage that I might be interested including in my renewal plan, for instance roof repairs, he said no. Maybe he wasn't familiar with the new coverage because he wasn't used to doing renewals, However, I day after I renewed I received an email from Choice talking about limited roof coverage. I'm going to call back and ask about this. Don't know if I really need it. Nina

My original garbage disposal was 3/4 hp. The technician explained the policy provides builders grade which is only 1/2 hp. That’s the lowest capability disposals are offered at. Builder’s grade was not explained to me when the policy was sold to me. This is the first time an appliance was replaced In the three years I’ve owned Choice home warranty policies for two properties. When I bought the policies, the replacement value was quoted as equal to what I already have. That did not happen. Your sales team was less than truthful. Your policies provide adequate coverage for rental properties or the market that is satisfied with builder’s grade appliances. However I’m not in that market.
My home is over $300,000. I do not have builder’s grade in my home. I have namebrand and high end appliances. My personal insurance rates will prove that. For example, I have a Bosch dishwasher. Eight years ago it cost $700. As a policyholder, I recommend you offer a choice to your policyholders. To either accept builder’s grade or receive a check for the product in question so the policyholder can get the name brand they want and spend the extra out of their own pocket.
As of this time of writing, I regret to inform you when my policy expires I will not renew it. I also can’t recommend buying your warranty to my friends because they also own high end properties and it would be a disservice to them. I would be available to discuss this issue with any management team looking to provide innovative offerings to your policyholders and prospects. Thank you for your consideration.

CHW emailed me that a service tech would arrive Sunday between 7-11am so I waited, no show. I called the company the next day (Monday) and was told that they did not work on Sunday. Apparently there was no confirmation between the Service Co., CHW, and Me.

Our household does a lot of laundry, so when the washer suddenly stopped, it was a near disaster. I called Choice Home Warranty and within minutes I described the problem and got an appointment for a technician to come from Hooked on Appliance the following Monday. The technician arrived as promised, found the difficulty, left to get a part, returned and completed the repair and left everything put back where he found it. The afternoon was spent catching up on washing the clothes.

Technician was knowledgeable and helpful; came out on Saturday morning; examined my heater and identified problem; He stated that he would need to locate the part and it would take a couple of days. Came back Sunday a.m. and replaced the control board.

I needed a flame sensor, Mike was an excellent Technician. I think customer service and personality are just as important as the repair. He had on a mask, was very respectful and friendly. I was quite comfortable in his presence. Mike went above and beyond in that he turned off the lights when he finished working in my basement. In my 30 years of residence here no service person has ever done that. If I ever need this service again, I will request him. Superior company all around. I spoke with the Receptionist also, she was very accommodating and gave me an earlier time frame. I have already recommended NuAir to several neighbors.

The ONLY Joy I had was dealing with Ms Peta Gaye **.. She was outstanding in helping me... When I was contacted about renewing my contract in Sept 2021, by your salesman, he affirmed to me that a broken appliance would be replaced at NO COST TO ME.. That was a LIE !!!... I have the document proving it would be so.. When a competitive Company years ago replaced my AC unit I never had to pay extra....so I am beginning to doubt your faith... The "offer" I received from you all was a shameful amount... In order to replace my built in microwave with a similar one I have now to pay over $400.00 on my own. Thank God I took a 3 year warranty on it... Ms ** was very understanding and sorry for it all.... She was the best... I am just terribly, terribly disappointed with your undisclosed rules... Thank God I did not take a renewal for 3 years!!!! Anyway... I have been warned.

Basement bathroom toilet was not operating correctly and it appeared a pipe was clogged. Choice gave me no Choice but to call and arrange my own service tech who was great. Choice denied the claim. Not only did they not find a service tech when I did their job then they denied the claim.

Timely response to have my washer serviced. Unable to repair so Choice agreed to reward me a certain amount of monies towards a new machine. This was 3 weeks ago, 3 weeks without a washing machine is an awful long time. It would be great if the turnaround time in receiving gift cards for appliance replacement wouldn’t take so long, especially since they’re e-cards.

The last technicians were able to fix the ice maker in a short period of time. (Sears?) The technician before that (Partxworks) made numerous appointment which he didn't show up for except for two (I recorded over 18 appointments) and he never fixed the icemaker. We were without our icemaker for 4 months.

Heating unit was not repaired. Have not had any response for electrician. Waited 4 days for heating person. Heating repairman said the unit not receiving electricity. I am almost 82 and freezing. Not pleased with this claim at all. At this time not sure that I would recommend Choice to anyone.

I received good customer service when work order was filled on 10/27/21. Received confirmation and on 10/29/21 A-Plus Garage Doors came out and found a motor damaged. So they ordered the motor and on 11/03/21 A-Plus came back and installed a new motor, serviced the pulleys and wheels. All is in working great now. My oven would not come on. The control panel went out and it was determined by CHW that it was more cost effective to replace rather than repair. I was only offered $338, which is not adequate since I have to spend at least $1600 to replace the oven. I could not get a clear explanation on how the $338 was calculated.

After approx. 20 days and a Plumber here twice, it still isn't fixed or replaced. I have not heard anything since I last called 4 days ago. I am not happy and cannot recommend them to family and friends. I paid the Plumber his fee and have paid my contracted monthly fees. I have no resolution to my issues.

I have been dealing with Adrian ** to renew my Choice Warranty for my home in Colorado and take out a new policy on our house in New Jersey. He was able to get me fantastic savings by dealing directly with him. We are a Military family and were eligible for the military discount which helped with our savings too. He didn’t just take the easiest route or price. He took the time to research what we wanted, and did a great job for us. This was the 2nd visit for the problem. The first time the service group contracted couldn't fix the issue. The 2nd technician was great, identified the issue and corrected on same visit. Overall CHW handled this entire repair terribly. Only one individual (Oscar) at CHW was helpful.

You offer 300 net to replace a dishwasher. That doesn’t even pay for delivery and installation of the new machine. I should have read the police fine print. My fault. The gift card replacement is also stupid. And it will take 30 days to get it. That’s ridiculous. What if I had no funds to replace it???? I would be a month more with no dishwasher!!!!

Trying to speak to someone is VERY annoying. You have to call multiple times and wait a long time. I called the other day to add roof repair and was told I had to wait until my contract renewed- that’s not true. I called back and was able to add it.

When I returned to a family visit and the weather had changed and was quite cold. I turned on my heat and nothing happened. I called Choice Warranty and they set up an appointment for a few days after the call. The gentleman came and checked my system and said it was caused by a storm. I don't know exactly what he did but he told me that it needed a new motor but should at least give me heat and would return as soon as he had the okay to order a new motor which he felt shouldn't take long. He told me to call him if it stopped in the next week or two again as it is a pretty old unit. He was very professional and I appreciated his demeanor which is not always the case when calling service people out to work on something in my home. Thank you Choice Warranty for quick reply to my problem. I'm using my heat only when I have to in order to not cause it to stop before I can get the new motor installed.

I never received an email in spam or otherwise from CHW regarding repairs. I called and the operator was difficult to understand and provided no assistance. When I did get a time it was changed. When the device was determined that it needed to be replaced I received an email that said it would be in Lowe's gift cards and would take up to 30 days. Most families cannot wait 30 days to replace a washer or dishwasher. I did not purchase both appliances at Lowe's, and the credit card bill will be due before 30 days. It has been 9 days since the service call and I still have not received information on how CHW will be processing for the washing machine.

I've used CHW 2xs this year. My Air conditioner was fixed after 2 weeks. CHW could not get a repair technician sooner. I was offer a chance to use my own technician and get re-embursed, but I choose to wait. The repair technician was in the area and came one day early after calling me to see if it was ok. I canceled my request for service on my space heater. My friend found a Youtube video on how to fix a wall heater. After watching I fixed it myself. Just needed to be cleaned out.

After having our central heater have its annual inspection and cleaning, it was reported that two of the three cells were about to start leaking and since the age of the unit was 40 years old, they recommended to not use it as Carbon monoxide could begin leaking at any time. Our other unit was replaced about 10 years ago and was in good working order. The service tech which you sent was very nice and seemed confident, but couldn't find any leakage at this time. Therefore couldn't say it needed repair but indicated because of its age probably should be replaced.

Choice Homes is the worst home warranty that I have used. 4 months before my contract was due to expire I got bombarded with emails, texts and phone calls to renew and this continued even after I request it stop. When I didn’t renew I received an email stating Choice was “automatically” renewing my policy. I spoke with James ** who has been the only professional person that I have dealt with at Choice but even with that I have decided to NEVER NEVER NEVER use Choice homes again.

Appointment was given to Plumber 40 minutes from residence. Also scheduled for 4 days from claim submission. Can't wait that long. Bad leak. There are plenty of plumbers in Hot Springs Village that are 10 to 20 minutes away. Very disappointed in response. Probably won't renew with CHW next year.

The salesperson explained the details. All good. When I had doubts regarding the paying of 3 years upfront said I can cancel the contract anytime and get a prorated refund. $1200.00 plus quite a bit of money. Hopefully, it will be worth it!

Excellent customer service. The person that answered my call was very nice and completed my request quick and accurate. She offered me a renewal with some options but I told her that I will renew my policy before expiration but not today. I definitely will recommend these services to anyone who ask me.

I am very disappointed in your company. I have had your company for over a year. When I signed up no one told me there would be exclusions. Never received a contract from you. Just a piece of paper to print out that said my premium monthly. My service fee $65.00. and second page what was covered. Says heating system. So when I received an email from Choice that said my part was not covered I was shocked. I am a senior. I live on a limited income. I go to the pantry to get food. I did not have 295.00. to pay this service. I had to borrow from my daughter. Now I have to pay her back. Very disappointed in your company.

I am extremely pleased with the service I have received with CHW, and the service fee I am charged for each visit. (I prepaid for 6 years and received an excellent rate.). Repair requests can be made online and their response time is within a couple of hours. The service provider my request was assigned to: Rotdream HVAC, responded and provided excellent service. I would, and have recommended CHW to my family and friends.

My thermostat got stuck in emergency heat mode and the noise was getting pretty cool. I started a claim online and a hvac tech showed up the next day and quickly determined the thermostat was stuck in emergency heat mode. He changed it out and only charged the service call fee of 65 dollars. Great experience. Very happy.

I put in a claim to have the fan motor repaired. The first vendor assigned by Choice didn't show up as scheduled and when I called the vendor, Intel Electric, they were rude and stated that they would only come out if I was willing to pay them upfront. I contacted Choice online and within 10 minutes I received a call from a representative with Choice. They assured me that they would cancel the first vendor. I received a second appointment with a new vendor promptly. A1 Electric called prior to the appointment to make sure that the time would work with our schedule. They showed up as scheduled, they were courteous and very professional and the repair was completed quickly. Excellent service. Thanks.

We have had hot water issues in our home. We had to submit several claims on the same issue. After fixing most of the issues on our own and STILL having problems. We hired a plumber to check and adjust our water pressure. He investigated our hot water issue and determined the water heater was the problem. I called our representative and and sent her the his notes. She said she would review our claim, She ghosted me although I called an emailed. We came out to the garage to find that our hot water heater was leaking! We had damaged walls and had to remove drywall and insulation. We had to file ANOTHER claim!
The plumber confirmed we had a hot water leak, I was told I would be contacted by the plumbing company, Meanwhile I "your equipment has been ordered " email 5x a day! No word from anyone. After 5 day I HAD to call the plumbing company to find out what the heck was going on! He couldn't even tell me, he had to research it! He didn't know what I was talking about. I had to call HIM back. By the time the water heater! got installed, it had been a week! We had an ongoing leak and have been trying to keep our walls dry and free from mold. What disappointing service!

I don't really know how to rate since I've not had any real service so far. I've made a few calls which resulted in my buying at my own expense a new built in oven microwave combination. I've yet to see a plumber; got an email reimbursement form.

The representative we dealt with was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Hopefully, we won't need to use this warranty, but it is a good feeling to have it. We were happy with the price and discounts offered...but we have received another 3 or 4 calls since we purchased this plan. The last one we talked to said he would remove us from the call list.

The technician was professional, informative, and knowledgeable. On the other hand CHW needs to not charge people for warranties if they are not going to cover items under the warranty. I placed my claim on Oct 10, 2021 and no one called me. They sent me an email about an appt the same day the technician was to arrive. I changed my schedule to be available then CHW cancelled the technician. Then CHW sent another message technician would be out the following day. Nov. 4, 2021. The report that CHW sent to deny my claim did not have the correct dates. So how can I trust CHW. Very disappointed with CHW service.

Today is Friday November 5th. The problem I was having was with my water heater. No hot water. Was able to it's 2 have I reported the claim on November 4th 4th so it took them over 24 hours to get here but but it's only a water heater. We'll be able to manage **. I also had called a company called Horizon and they are a HVAC firm and they install air conditioners, heaters, they do plumbing work, et cetera. Well the Tech from there on Thursday the 4th try to light my pilot 3 times outlet 3 times and that's all he attempted to do so of course he's selling me a new water heater. It's not water heater with everything set and done installing $2200. I'm glad that I did not go forth with it. The Tech from Choice Home Warranty removed and cleaned the settlement and got the pilot relit and then we had to pay my deductible. Good job CHW. Thank you.

Technician was very efficient and professional. Was knowledgeable in what the source of the heating problem might be and was able to fix the problem straight away. Has decades of experience in the HVAC field and has serviced large accounts in the immediate area. He’s local, trustworthy and friendly. Would gladly recommend him to other customers.

Technician was punctual and attended to the fridge problem immediately. He explained the situation, cleaned up the area, and then let us know that CHW would contact us to tell us how they would help correct the problem. It worked out just as he said it would.

We had to call Choice Wty. to get another contractor/technician assigned to do repair! The initial technician assigned was Zatro & they have Horrible reviews & customer service! Also, they scheduled repair for Sunday, 6 days from claim date. Six days without heat is unacceptable! Zatro should be removed from your list of contractors!! I had another experience with Zatro 2 years ago with American home shield Warranty & the service and work they did was not good! The second contractor you assigned was great!! It was Ask Heating & AC, they scheduled repair next day & showed up ahead of schedule & completed repair expertly. Very satisfied with Ask Heating! Again, Zatro should be dropped from your contractors listings, you can go on line and see the horrible reviews yourself!!

Arron with RAD was a pleasure to work with. He was super friendly and fixed what was covered under the warranty. I just wish CHW covered the actual faucet. I'd definitely use RAD again for my plumbing needs. Kudos to CHW for finding a good plumber.

I wish that Choice would work as hard getting me to sign up as they would selecting a tech that could arrive sooner than a month just to evaluate the repair. I was satisfied with claim responsiveness. I was satisfied with the service technician performance. I am unsatisfied with your company advertising "replacement" of appliances while offering 32% below my local market price for the lowest end product. Providing less than 2/3rds my cost is not a "replacement". It is a partial replacement on top of my warranty contract and service delivery costs. An unsavory practice.

NED from Garage Door Geeks came out, diagnosed and fixed the issue in the circuit breaker box to stop the lights from flickering. He explained clearly the issue and how he would resolve it. I already gave him a couple referrals.

I was just find a work order and the company and a certain day that they were coming. Surprising to me when I called a company to see what time they were coming. They had no record of my appointment. Mind you Choice had set me a text remind me of my appointment that day. I did and I'm calling the corporate office and got satisfaction from them. Not a good look because I had to change my traveling plans to suit my appointment.

My water Heater was leaking, I filed a claim with Choice Home Warranty and they scheduled a repair within a week. The contractor they selected had good communication before and asked for some photos. The serviceman arrived early and started the repair. I had complete confidence in the person. He kept me informed of his progress. Now we have a new water heater.

I have been with Choice Home Warranty for a number of years. I filed a claim because my A/C unit stopped working. They sent out a technician who told me the compressor burned out. I have a split unit. The indoor heating unit's refrigerant is not compatible with the outside until. The technician said, "It can cause your units to fail faster." Choice installed the indoor unit. He took pictures of the outside unit which failed and filed the claim. My claim was denied because they said there was dirt on the compressor which caused it to burn out. I filed an appeal and was told the outside unit was only 10 years old and it should not have failed.
The reason I got the home warranty was to have it repaired in case it breaks. And the reason for denial (having dirt on the compressor) is not acceptable. The unit sits outside in the weather, it's not going to be spotless. I have a lot of trees in my yard so I keep it cleaned out regularly. It just so happened they took the pictures in between cleanings. I am very dissatisfied with the service I received and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Choice is always quick to get a technician out when I place a claim. They would always rather repair than replace, so keep that in mind if you think you'll just get new equipment when you place a claim. It may be a pain waiting to get the repairs made, but the savings are worth it if you can be patient.

First, there was some confusion during my closing process concerning my home warranty and although the policy was initiated payment to CHW was never made. When I called in to submit a claim I was told about the non-payment. CHW was understanding about the problem, took my payment over the phone, reinstated my policy and had my claim submitted the next morning. A service provider contacted me later that morning regarding my garage door opener, ordered the needed part and was at my home the following day to fix the issue. I highly recommend that you purchase a warranty through CHW, fast and easy claim submission, excellent customer service and fast repairs. I purchased the Ultimate Plan with a service fee of $65, my home repair without the warranty would have cost me $225.

I was disappointed that the service technician didn’t returned my phone call after I was notified by CW who my technician was. I had to call CW in order for the technician to return my call. The problem was not fix during the service call. I was told if it’s not broken or works the company will not fix it. The unit still makes a buzzing sound. I was told the unit is old. Will make sounds and CW will only fix if the system is not working. CW didn’t want to be proactive and the technician couldn’t stop the buzzing sound for occurring. I felt someone didn’t know what they were doing in order to correct the problem and was in and out. Just came to collect the money without trying to fix the problem. Who’s to know…. I pray oh that my heat doesn’t go out in the dead of winter.

The first response was as usual, “WE DO NOT COVER THAT.” I called and spoke with someone and explained what you didn’t bother to ask that it had to be the faucet! Only after all this did the representative assign a technician who fixed it the problem! The automated system is designed to deny service and it is annoying.

We should’ve been given the opportunity to choose where we shop. No choice, no way of declining payment method after accepting payment amount. The replacement process is great. Very efficient. I gave the technician a 10 because he was efficient and checked everything out thoroughly. Stovetop could not be repaired. What I have a problem with is the totally unsatisfactory amount the warranty allowed for a replacement stovetop that at a minimum is going to cost twice as much as was allowed by the warranty to replace. And this is not including another 250. to reinstall this built in appliance. Choice needs to update their commercials and sales pitch by their sales people on how the warranty will not cover the total replacement cost of an appliance that is deemed unrepairable.
You need to tell George not to say, "That's not my problem," when you show him with a smoking appliance on the commercial. He needs to say, "O ** how am I going to pay to replace this appliance when I have my money tied up in this warranty that doesn't even pay 50% of the cost to replace this expensive appliance." You guys know what you can do with your business model to figure a replacement cost of an appliance.

Some service is fine but the program is terrible if you need something done right away. It takes days to weeks to have things repaired. If you have a plumbing issue or heating need you could go weeks without a repair.

When I placed the repair order, I told them we needed people certified to work high on ladders. They ignored it and sent someone who could not do the work. I called Choice and explained the problem. They lined up another company who was not certified to do the repair. Finally the third time was a charm. It only took 8 awful days without air conditioning to get it right. However, Top Air did a fantastic job with the repair.

My first contact was with a Frances ** which was very unsatisfactory. She was extremely pushy and did not listen to me. All she was interested in was for me to purchase now. I almost did not purchase because of her. I realize she is on commission but her way is not how to make a sale. I know a little about customer service as I worked as a sales coordinator for over 25 years at a Fortune 500 company. Yes I am old but I did not fall off the turnip wagon this morning. I really think Frances needs more training.
But enough about her. I received a call from Justin **. He was polite and professional. He explained what Choice had to offer, he listened to me, answered my questions and concerns. He did not push me to make an immediate decision. He was able to make me an offer I could not turn down so you can thank Mr. ** for this sale. By the way I did not make an immediate decision. I took some time to do a little research on your company as well as my current company. Again Mr. ** is the reason I am now with Choice. I hope you will tell him about my comments.

Although I have only just today deleted my past Home warranty agreement with a past company, and added Choice warranty. I of course cannot comment on to much. However the conversations and assistance I have received from the Choice staff in my change from one to Choice has been very helpful. I changed primarily due to Choice being a little less expensive, but also there were things that Choice has in the plan that my past company did not have. For example Choice does not have restrictions on the age of an appliance to be repaired. I will have further comments as time goes on, however I feel the comments will be good.

Home warranty is a joke. Every claim has been denied. I’ll save my cost of this for repairs for the future. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have reached out to several realtors that purchase as gifts for their customers to advise them to give gifts of anything but this!!
