The technician showed on time and was great at diagnosis and repair, also stayed around to ensure the problem was fix. And explained the why and how to proceed in the case something else might go wrong, overall a great experience.

Two Anchors LLC is a great company and Larry and David are the best plumbers ever. They respect my time and as per my request, they rescheduled an early appointment for me. Larry and David called to provide a more precise estimated time of arrival. They arrived fully prepared with all the right tools and supplies. Larry and David are very professional, caring and very courteous. They listened all my concerns and respond in a very professional manner. Larry and David work very diligent and did an amazing plumbing job. I'd highly recommend them.

Re. denied claim/ J & L Plumbing. The plumber could not find surface cleanout valve. I hired Reddi Septic Services to clear out the shower/tub blockage and they immediately found three openings and then cleared the blockage immediately but at the cost of $325.00. Please review.

I have owned, a Choice Home Warranty for six years. They have been very fair. I just renewed my warranty for 6 more years. I did this because I am almost 80 years of age and I like it when we can make just 1 call and they take care of the repairs. COL Gerald W ** Retired

The technician people are very nice and did a good job. I am happy to the quick approval based on their 1st visit so that they can finish the job on the second day. The only weakness: I would be happier if they could fix the issue at the 1st visit (yesterday). I don't understand very much the approval procedure.

I schedule service for my heating system on a Wednesday one day prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday. I received notification via email that someone would be at my home on Friday. How great is that. I have had my warranty since 2017 and now feel totally protected.

I was quoted the wrong price. I said it was in my contract. I immediately called back and someone from the contact person called me and told me they could help. I explain what happened and they immediately seen what I was talking about and change my price. It was easy as that. Is the easiest way and experienced I Ever had. Thank you.

From my experience with Home Warranty, I think it is best that the co payment is provided after the repair. Most of the time I have tried to use Choice Warranty, after the co pay they never return to complete the repair. They should come prepared to work. They should have supplies with them. Most of them comes on cars with no tools or parts. I can understand big parts but some things they should have.

Tech was very knowledgable and efficient, Found problem and got things working again. Possible diagnosis from Evergy tech was gas leak but problem was really with low battery in thermostat. Got heat on and house warm before daughter returned from school.

My experience with Sassman was good. He kept in touch since he was running late and diagnose the problem with my toilet and sent in the information is the main office for consideration. He couldn't fix it because he had to get the part. He will be back on Monday and that is totally reasonable with Thanksgiving in there. I was very happy with him and I was also very happy with the one that came down and did my garbage disposal a couple of weeks ago. I highly recommend this company.

My refrigerator is out of service. The company quickly assigned to one of the company to take the job but that company never return to my call for a week. Choice Home then go with different company. They quickly diagnose the problem and go from them. Thanks Choice Home Warranty.

I was considering getting a home warranty from Choice based upon its rating on the internet. However when I was wanting to purchase a one year warranty the salesman continually kept trying to increase the purchase for higher and higher prices. It became a very hard sell tactic and had the opposite effect.

Very good warranty company. Response quickly. Very happy to enroll in this company. Had some plumbing problems and claimed and work out good. Had claim for heat pump and fix in few day. I recommend strongly to get warranties with Choice and feel good.

I doesn’t like Green plumbing service. He doesn’t verify the issue not even 2 minutes and Choice warranty doesn’t cover the water dripping issues and toilet flushing is not working. I wouldn’t like to recommend the service to any of our known and friends.

The Choice Home Warranty representative, Troy **, was courteous and helpful and readily provided available discounts on the service charge. I look forward to having CHW as a backup in case breakdowns and chose CHW to replace another service we had that provided very limited coverage and failed to offer wider coverage even though it was available.

We just bought a new home. It was inspected prior to our purchase. Appliances were bought in 2019. For whatever reason, when we moved in we found the dishwasher was dead and the freezer died soon thereafter. First of all, you cannot talk to anyone. I called about 5 different numbers and they all route you to the same computer which only tells you to use your computer. You cannot talk to a human. We did hear from a repairman who came by and assessed the appliances. We then got an email saying that the freezer was not covered, unless we could prove there was an inspection (which we can but more work and being hassled).
We were offered $247 in Lowe's ecards for a new dishwasher. Seriously? Have you seen the cost of dishwashers? Also, that ecard money comes about 30 days after you accept that amount. That amount of money probably would not cover dishwasher installation fees. You can decline that offer (we did - more hassle). Now have a “case manager”. Everything so far is done by computer communication and I feel like we are having to fight for everything! This is why you buy a home warranty and we shouldn’t have to fight to get a fair deal.

William was very kind and respectful. He called when he was 20 minutes away. He was careful in his inspection of our microwave problem and courteous to our family. He asked questions and did all he could to find the issue.

When getting a home warranty you really have to look into the details. I have good and bad experiences in the past. So far Choice has not let me down. Other than being a little pricey they are good. They respond quickly and even have a chat email system. I plan on renewing my policy. The only thing I would recommend with choice is to pick local services. They do use small businesses which I like. The city of Houston is very large and there are tons of service companies. Maybe pick companies that are closer to my area.

The technician sent was very knowledgeable and thorough. He had to cut into the ceiling in order to get to pipes. Now I have to pay another $85 for another claim to have the ceiling put back. Same problem should all be included. These fees are ridiculous. You pay every month, but when you need something, you still pay a crazy fee to say nothing is wrong.

Before the visit, technician had the model number, serial number and the error code. Upon arrival, he didn’t seem to have any of this information. He accepted our word about the error code, though and didn’t conduct any testing. Despite having the information, he didn’t have the repair part, which had to be ordered with a second appointment now scheduled.

They scheduled the repair quickly and the repairman that came out was friendly and polite. He got right to work and repaired the problem. He explained what the problem was and how he repaired it to me. I paid the required fee and it all took less than an hour.

I have been with them for last 5 years and this time their service has tremendously gotten better. When needed, we have also been given the reimbursement option to choose our own contractor when Choice has not been able to get a response from local contractors.

A plumber arrived on Sunday, 11-22-23, who was not with company assigned to my claim. Yet he was given my address from your company. How was that possible? Assigned plumber of New Fixation arrived as scheduled and fixed the problem. I am annoyed that monthly amount has increased plus residents pay share has increased $20.00. EXPLAIN!!

In JUNE I called in for a broken ice maker tray. Service call 65$. I found one I could have bought on eBay for 100, but thought I'd save $. It's almost Dec. No tray and when I called to complain they CANCELED my approval!!! If they cancel a cheap 100$ part.. what will they do for major systems! I have pics of the part and it has a small crack. I had a second opinion as well.. TERRIBLE service!! I'm changing companies. They said this ice maker was "all smashed and cracked to pieces". Nice try. No help from them... No responses.

Our non working furnace claim was denied based on false reasons from the claim specialist leaving us without heat during Thanksgiving. The technician said it was the motherboard and blower wheel problem. The" case manager" wasn't available to have our consultation after we appealed their decision for 2 days. Feels like this company tries to wear you down so you quit and won't continue with claim. This has been very frustrating especially when Temps are below freezing and pipes in the house could freeze.

My dishwasher needed to be replaced. I believe the amount as provided for a replacement was less than I needed to replace my dishwasher. I am still waiting on the Lowe's gift card. I did not appreciate that I didn't have a choice of where to purchase my dishwasher.

There were 3 outlets in our house that were not functioning. I placed a claim with CHW and quickly response was made by a local electric company. Within 2 days, the electrician came and repaired all 3 outlets. He was very professional as well as friendly. Excellent service!

Called in a service request for a noise coming from the refrigerator. An appointment was scheduled for the technician to visit. Although the technician arrived a little later than scheduled, I was kept informed of his arrival. The technician called just before he arrived, which is good. He was able to determine the problem and addressed the issue quickly. He was extremely courteous and helpful. Great job by the technician.

I am giving a 1 star just because my claim was denied. It is very easy to take my money when it comes to renew or start the contract but when something happens they try their hardest not to pay just like insurance companies.

The plumbologist saved us a ton of money by actually figuring out what was wrong instead of just saying we needed to replace hardware and appliance that still worked great once fixed. Didn't even need 1 part to fix faucet and dishwasher.

The Technician was professional and responded in a timely manner. He gets a five star. Home Choice Warranty get a 1 star. They are initially denying the claim stating the damage was not caused by normal wear and tear. The technician report states clearly the damage was caused by normal wear and tear. I have little trust in Home Choice Warranty from my initial interactions with them concerning a claim.

Aaron ** sent me a link to make an appointment, but the link was not working. I emailed him and he never answered. Then I called claims and got an appointment for Thursday, November 18th at 4:30 PM, and nobody called. This is the only way to speak to someone from your company and then nobody calls.

I recently reached out regarding information and services on their plans. My home is starting to creep in age, and in forth thought to prepare for possible sale though it was a great time to renew a home warranty plan. The individual was very helpful and tried to made sure that he gave me several options. He worked with my current financial situation until he gave me a contract that I could financial feel comfortable about. He also told me about program for senior citizen that made it possible to purchase a contract today and pay over four month.

Choice Home Warranty's are not worth the money. My water heater was covered by a manufacturer warranty. Choice refused to cover the warranty cost and they also don't cover the 'Modification' costs. They merely cover the labor. So instead of Choice having to pay $1k (+/-) for a water heater and installation, they are only paying for labor. What should have been an estimated $1,600 bill for Choice is only a $400 bill for them and I'm paying $450.
Let's review... I paid Choice $583 for their best home warranty for 1 year. I paid $65 to be informed the water heater is bad.. I am paying $450 for a manufacturer warrantied water heater replacement ($150 for the warranty swap and $300 for "modifications" supposedly not covered by my Choice warranty). I would have paid $825 to replace this without the Choice Home warranty. I am now out of pocket $583 + $65 + $450 = $1098. IF I had done this all out of pocket, without the frustration from Choice, I would have been out of pocket an estimated $925 ($100 for the service call plus $825 for the replacement). So I ask you, what benefit did my Choice Home Warranty do for me? I'll tell you. NOT A DAMN THING!
P.S. I was still shopping home warranty options when the Choice Home Warranty sales rep charged my card without authorization. Just to add insult to injury here. To say the least I am an unhappy customer that will absolutely not be renewing my warranty.

I am so happy that I choose Choice Home Warranty service plan for all of my home appliances. When I first looked for a service provider, I was a little afraid because I was unsure if I would be getting the best service for my money. I only had the Warranty for 30 days and my Washer went dead. I called Choice Warranty and they scheduled a service tech to come out the next day. The technician came out and fixed my washer in less than twenty minutes, my wife was so happy. I told her that I would call them back and extend my contract for five years instead of a one year contract. It's worth every dollar.

The technician from Sears was great. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. I would hire him in a minute. Now as far as Choice Home Warranty goes I am not happy. We had the same service performed back in June. I asked Choice Home warranty to waive the $65 fee for the visit because the repair failed. In fact, asked the sears repairman we used if the prior work had been done properly and he said it was not done properly.

I have come to the realization that there is not a good home warranty company out there, and my experience with CHW confirms this. I was hesitant about purchasing a policy from the beginning but a neighbor recommended it. When filing a claim, CHW makes you select what system is at fault. Seeing that I was having an issue getting hot water, I selected hot water heater. Tech #1 came out and immediately said a cartridge needed to be replaced and it was considered a plumbing problem. He knew how to fix it, what parts were needed, etc. Paid him $85. In order for CHW to approve a claim, I had to submit another one saying it was a plumbing problem. This is what sent out Tech #2.
I have never had someone more unprofessional come to my house for business. He questioned everything I said and acted like he didn't believe me. Even though Tech #1 knew the issue and could have fixed it, I had to also pay Tech #2 the $85 also. CHW denied my claim because of a reason SECONDARY to the issue at hand. There is a screw in the way of getting the shower's handle off, therefore unable to replace the cartridge to fix my hot water problem. The screw is not the problem. The cartridge is. Even the case representative for my appeal was not helpful or understanding in the very least.

He inspected the refrigerator and solicited my feedback on what we had seen in developing the most likely cause of the problem. He had the part with him and completed the repairs within 1 hour. He asked that I advise him 24-48 hours later if the repair was successful. I did so and he responded .

Prompt Home Services was assigned to my claim to repair our dryer. The company is very responsive and extremely accommodating. Unfortunately, he did not have the part on his truck that was needed to repair the dryer, but I am certain they will follow up promptly. The technician was great, very courteous and efficient. I submitted a new claim with an issue on a Sunday morning. I received an immediate email confirming my new claim and shortly after that I received confirmation of a technician being assigned to my claim. I didn’t expect to see a plumber until the next day since it was a Sunday. A Plumber came to my house (after calling first to let me know he was on the way) on the same day later that afternoon. He was very pleasant and professional and took care of the problem immediately. I was very impressed with his work and how quickly I got a response to my claim on a Sunday. I was wary at first of getting a home warranty but now that I have it I won’t ever let it lapse. Less than 2 weeks after my warranty took effect I had to file a claim and another shortly after. Both claims were handled very quickly and efficiently. When one repair didn’t work, another tech was out within 2 days to recheck the system. I just had to file another claim at 10:30 pm and by 11pm I had an appointment for a washing machine tech to come out. Great company and very fast and efficient!!

Not all your claim specialists are well trained nor do they listen well. Juan...Gei... Katherina...Sracie are among the ones that need remedial training and they need to hone their listening skills ... Need to drop the rhetoric of what they can't do and concentrate on what they can do... Katherina hung up on me. Might want to listen in on their calls or review tapes. However they are were clear and articulate... Only Aneska was well trained and helpful. Still haven't heard an authorization number from 2:30 pm yesterday. It was supposed to be within 3 -4 hrs.

When I contacted Choice Home Warranty about my dryer problem they set up an appointment for a Sears repairman to come find the problem, the appointment was about 5 days in the future. The man came, he was very nice and professional. He started by looking inside the dryer with a flashlight and found the problem within the first couple of minutes...a piece of cord from inside of a pair of my husbands shorts had broken off and wedged itself between the dryer drum and frame of the dryer thus after time causing the loud noise. He removed it and checked to see if the noise was gone and of course it was. So it was a very simple fix. I just paid the service charge and off he went. The dryer is working fine.

I've already given you my assessment, but here goes again. On either 11/15 or 16 I contacted Choice. I wanted a reimbursement okay but the phone number gave me a busy signal over many tries. So went with your repairman. You set up an appointment for 11/25 - yes - Thanksgiving Day and more than a week after my call for help. This is not the kind a service I had come to expect from Choice. I contacted the plumber you selected, (CB Plumbing - which does not even have an address listed in the phone book) and he came out on 11/16. He installed a new disposal but did not leave me the model name or serial number which I need to register the new disposal. I have tried to contact him, but only get an answering service which passes my message along to him. But no response from him. This was certainly an experience NOT up to your usual standards.

Put in work order for my heater on Friday afternoon. Realize it should've been done earlier but was busy blocking off all cold possible. Now work won't be done until Monday. Plumber had to break through wall (drywall) to find and repair leak in pipe. Stated he does not repair wall as part of this repair but we had to call CHOICE and submit a separate claim for someone to come out and patch wall under kitchen sink where leak was repaired.

Very poor company. I’ve had an outstanding claim for six months. My stovetop burner didn’t work. They came in April and approved for it to get fixed. He didn’t have the part on his truck so drove to get it from the store. They didn’t have it so he ordered it for six months. They have been going back-and-forth with me telling me it’s already been installed and then, "Oh I’m sorry it’s sitting in our office, we didn’t know who it belong to." And now they refused to put it in saying it’s been over 30 days.
I have called and messaged at least 15 times over the six months, they are totally refusing to do anything and now the end of my term is up, they are telling me I have to re-pay and submit a new claim. For two years they also talked me into taking out pool insurance and when my pool pulled apart from the edge 4 feet the whole liner they said, "Oh that’s just natural causes, we are not paying for it." When I had to have the plumbing replaced they didn’t pay for that either. I will never use this company again!

Call John November 16th to file a claim. They tell me that the person can't get out until the 4 days later. I call the company. Ask them to schedule if they could do it. Earlier they agreed to. They come out. Take all kinds of pictures. Take the day off so I could be here for that. And you guys don't tell me that you will not accept her pictures. But you need to have another company come out but never tell me that company. I see the email. I call them about it. They say that it is a error on your company's part and so then we canceled that appointment. Now I find out that you guys do need them to come out which now they can't get out until the 24th. So now I'm waiting to be waiting close to a month. They say before I can get a hot water heater. This is unacceptable. I will be giving you bad reviews on everything I possibly can.

I was given excellent service. Within 24 hours a technician came out to my home and told me what was the problem. He email his company. Now I’m waiting to be approved for new equipment. I was told I had to wait after my claim was submitted. Edgar the technician was very nice and informative.

We filed a claim for the first time, apparently, we were wrong on the terms and conditions but we feel you accepted the claim without telling us. What a disappointment. We now are told we have to pay an additional 275 dollars right at Christmas time. We didn't send this company, you did. We feel we trusted the wrong people.

Been 2 weeks and still no heat! Wish they had more technicians to speed up the process. But the tech they did send was very professional and knew his stuff. Just wish they could fix when they come out on 1st call instead of we will have to submit the repairs and then come back to repair or replace.

Scheduled appt was 11am to 3pm. At 3pm received an email stating my appt was rescheduled for the following day. This was done via email. No one called us to verbally notify us appt was rescheduled. Or to even check to see if we'd be available the next day. I had made arrangements for someone to be there for first appt. I don't think it's very professional to book an appt with someone without getting verification that the customer will be available. I don't know who is responsible for this miscommunication-Choice or the Company that was supposed to come to my home. But someone should have called.

The plumber who came was very polite and professional. The most annoying thing of the whole experience is dealing with CHOICE. From the time contact you, it is 24 hours before there is an appointment, which is at least 24 hours away. By the time I call CHOICE, it is an emergency but I never feel like it is an emergency to CHOICE when it takes 2 days to get an appt. and then they don't show up. Two more days for another appt! At least the 2nd providers were prompt and efficient. Make them your FIRST call!

First, customer service was VERY poor. The dryer repair costs were not reasonable, so Choice determined a replacement was better. That's fine. BUT...they offered just over half of what it would cost to replace it. When I indicated that wasn't sufficient, I received an email from a claims rep. BUT...they didn't respond to my emails. I finally called the 800 number and reached my rep. BUT...she essentially said "tough luck." They based their offer on PRE-covid WHOLESALE pricing, and were unwilling to make any adjustments. Why should I pay full price for service that only covers about 60%? Why should I continue doing business with a company that really doesn't care about customer service, or what is reasonable on claims?

I submitted my claim on Monday morning and had an email within a couple of hours with an appointment for a repair tech to come to assess the issue the following day. A part had to be ordered so the repair had to wait several days. But the repair tech was polite and professional.

I called the number back when I hung up and learned something completely different than the first person I spoke to. Please thank him, again for me. Gentlemen from ever ready came to fix our ice maker. Has to order a part. Very nice person. Any other product that has to be fixed I would like him to come. I called because my washing machine is leaking and he was kind enough to tell me to call it in because it needs a part.

I have not had a bad experience with Choice Home Warranty until this visit. My electrical outlets burned out and had to be changed. The technician was in a very big hurry. He identified the problem and asked me if I would mind if he put a gray outlet in instead of a white. I said yes I do because the rest of my house has white. He put in a dead white outlet and left. He had to have known it was not going to work because he also left his outlet tester plugged into my other outlet and I brought that to his attention while he was trying to leave with a manual from one of my appliances with him.
According to Choice Home Warranty, it would have been ok if he put the gray outlet in because in paragraph F-4 of our agreement it states, "We are responsible for installing replacement equipment of similar features, capacity, and efficiency, but not for matching dimensions, brand or color". So, I would think twice unless you are happy with them putting any color they choose. I assume that would include appliances.

Received email stating technician would arrive between 7AM & 11AM. At 11:30 I called to determine why appointment not kept. Told never morning appointments; tech would arrive between 5 & 7 PM which he did. Rearranged my day for morning appointment and had to rearrange again for afternoon appointment. PROBLEM!!! Choice didn't take time to confirm appointment or notify me their customer. Very inconvenient; lost almost an entire day needlessly. No way to treat a customer!!!

It was a small fix solution and the repairman was on time and gave me hints on maintaining my washer that is over 20 years old. The repairman also offer another service to do maintenance on my dryer for $80. I did not have the funds in my budget to get the service. He explained that the warranty does not provide maintenance on appliances.

It is too complicated system and the answering machine makes the process more difficult over the phone. In the application one has no experience in technical words that are used in repairs and it is difficult to submit the claim.

Control board detached itself from module and had to be reattached.. The technician was very experienced and he knew exactly what the problem was plus he ran some Diagnostics to make sure that everything else was working proper. Once he completed the Diagnostics he did some cleanup where he worked and we were good to go.

The rubber boot on our front-loading washer started leaking water. The second time this has happened in 2 years. The serviceman said the part has to be ordered and there is a 2 week delivery time. The last time this happened the repair guy had an extra rubber boot in his truck. Oh well, such are the times we're living in.

On Nov. 6th, 2021 came, he looked at our heat system and said he did not know how to adjust our system. But, the first thing he wanted was to be paid. I asked him for a receipt and he said he doesn't write receipts, but will Email me one when when he gets home. I'm still waiting. To me, Mr. William ** was not a good Tech. He spent less than 30 minutes here. He said he would recommend having my coils cleaned. So far, Mr. ** hasn't sent me a receipt or you all a recommendation for repairs. The second Tech. you sent out was very professional, Checked out our heater, found the problem, fixed it. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND MBM Heat & Air Service. Mike was VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, & KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. I would not recommend Mr. ** to anyone, BUT I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MIKE.

I've lived in my home for 22 years and the technician that was sent to my house yesterday, November 17th to evaluate the problem I am having with my heating system is the best technician I've had yet in all these years. He really knew what the problem was and proceeded to repair it. He did not dance around the problem and tell me that I needed a new system as I've been falsely told before. He is truly an asset to the Bennett and Sons Company. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an air conditioning/heating technician.

I submitted claim online, was instructed to call the 800 number. My call was met by a machine which made me go through the whole claim process I'd just done online, then told me I'd have to speak to an agent--which I was trying to do. The hold time was long and so I submitted a call back--which I never received. Instead I got an email that my claim was denied. Okay, fine, but why go through all that other? I never spoke to a living human and am not even sure a real person evaluated my claim. So no, it was not satisfying customer service to me.

CSR need to be trained to better communicate with customers. Most of CSR reps has thick accents and do not understand English and it make it hard to communicate. I had to speak to around four CSR reps to get an answer. One of the reps kept reading a script because she was unable to answer. She wasn't informed on company policy.

Your website is not user friendly to submit claims, it took 5 tries, there is no save icon when back pages, everything is lost!! I have yet to rectify with your company nor the heating company. By the way, the technician is not the biller nor the price assigned. I have tried several ways to send the invoice, it's not acceptable. Will someone please call the heating company to obtain the information. You staff is great to keep referring to the website to fill out the forms specifically. No one is willing to help!! Call the company please!! They charge per job, that is how they operate!! I do not know how else to go about this if no one is willing to help me get heat into my home!!
