I worked with Gary this morning for initiating my home warranty with Choice. Though I liked the prices of everything I was being quoted, Gary was very short and quick. I was cut off mid sentence and rushed off the phone. He also kept trying to push a product on me that I explained to him I was not interested in. When I explained I was not interested, he pushed even more and then quickly ended the call after explaining I was not interested in signing up with the 3 year program. I would have signed up if I was not rushed and felt like another ticket number.

Asics plumbing was awesome! He called to make sure the scheduled time worked for me. He asked a couple of questions to make sure he arrived with the right equipment. He was fast, efficient, and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!

My Sears Technician was Sam. He diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher quickly. He was able to order the part and reschedule an appointment for repair. Sam was very polite and professional. He arrived around 5:30, not too long outside the 1:00 to 5:00 window.

Choice Home Warranty failed to diagnose the plumbing issue and denied any tests that would have conclusively identify the issue. I find myself very disappointed in having spent the money on this warranty product and would not under most circumstances recommend the company to any close friend, family or neighbor. From my experience so far even getting a claim started is a challenge and the value of the product is greatly reduced.

On time. Fixed the issue. Great experience. The plumber fixed the issue in a few minutes. You found a plumber and arranged the service call which saves me a lot of time. He called before coming out like I asked and it went smoothly.

Technician was experienced, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My refrigerator including the freezer was not working. I was disappointed that the appointment scheduled was three days later after my call. Unable to salvage most of my food. Thank goodness it jiggled back on after 48 hours, but still goes off and on. Now waiting anxiously for the thermostat that was ordered for my refrigerator, which has not been found.

I've had a very positive experience with the technician who was on time, very communicative and professional. The problem was identified fairly quickly and a resolution was discussed and put into place. The technician made sure to explain everything in detail and even provided above and beyond advice. This was a very good experience and I am satisfied with the outcome.

Outstanding service! They were knowledgeable, polite, and wore their masks. As a senior citizen they were concerned about my well being. They asked did I have a space heater in case they were unable to fix my heater. I would definitely recommend.

CHW decided to replace my microwave instead of repairing it and awarded me an amount that would not cover a replacement plus I have to pay for installation. This is not fair at all. I contested the amount, and there was no concern or care given. I will not be using this company after this. I have had horrible experiences this entire year. Reps are rude as well.

The contractor who came to fix electrical was terrific! Very polite, respectful, communicated very well in appointment time and showed up on time! Fixed the problem straight away, gave me tips for preventative measures, super guy. I only give them 4 stars as this was my first service call, and the price of home warranty can be tough on fixed income people. But good experience first time around.

Our technician Edgardo from Integrity Reconstruction exceeded expectations. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Hope this gets to his management and they praise him. Integrity Reconstruction is so good that once Edgardo left an hour later another friendly tech happened to show up named Dante. He was also professional and kind but the job had already been completed by his associate. Maybe one thing for Integrity to sharpen their scheduling and communication with their techs. Thank you!

My Experience my air conditioner broke. It's got repair. My washer broken. Service person coming tomorrow. Hopefully they have it repaired then I don't have a bad experience. When you call to report a claim they are very nice. I would recommend Choice warranty to family and friends any time.

The service Tech was fast and thorough. They actually called to say he could get to us earlier than expected. My kitchen sink was plugged up real good. My wife does in home daycare so the kitchen sink is really important!

The Dishwasher stopped running. Brandon ** from Sears was sent to repair or evaluate the situation. He was most professional, carefully going over the motor and all working parts. He then wrote up his evaluation and put it all back in place. Mr. ** also answered all my questions thoroughly and with great clarity. I was most impressed with his knowledge and cleanliness.

Bought cheapest replacement Samsung washer for $697. Was only offered 547. Can’t get anyone from your “lack of SERVICE department to call me. I have been a long time customer and want the amount increased to $697. My total expense was $936. Just do the right thing and pay for the washer.

Very nice and polite down to business. Explained everything to me. Being my first time it was helpful to have a gentleman, he was here only a short time, cleaned up after himself. He was neat and clean and wore his mask the whole time.

The technician showed up and fixed the issue the same day a work request was made. Technician was very through and helpful in explaining the problem and staying to ensure the problem was corrected. Have had other companies take as much as 2 1/2 weeks to fix a problem.

Dissatisfied with the lack of response from the claims dept and the amount of money that was approved to replace my washing machine. I appealed it, did all the leg work requested by the claims dept and was still not given a reasonable amount to replace my machine. With supply shortages and chain supply disruptions the amount approved will not even pay 1/2 of a new machine.
I don’t appreciate the fact that your customers can have ONLY a Lowe’s certificate for the purchase of a product OR WAIT up to 20 days to get a check issued to your customer. Totally unacceptable! It has taken 3 weeks for the claims dept to work w me then I’m told another 20 days to get a check. CHW is eager to take my money for the policy but then makes the customer wait an unreasonable amount of time to get what is rightfully theirs through the policy. I asked to speak w a supervisor but was told “The Team” determines how much is sent to the customer when a claim is filed. VERY Disappointed and frustrated.

I submitted my request to have a dryer fixed on a Sunday evening. Shortly thereafter I received an email with a scheduled time and the information of the assigned technician. The schedule was for the following morning but I had a previous meeting and had to reschedule. The technician was friendly and easy to work with. He arrived on time, was very professional and personal.

The appointment was made immediately the claim was made. Needed to change the assigned appointment, this was done with no problem. Only thing I would change is that I should have been able to choose what day the appointment was for. I had to change my plans to accommodate them for the appointment. Great contractor used.

I have had my Choice Home Warranty policy for five years and have only had to use it three times. Each time I felt I was treated fairly, and the company honored the terms of my policy. This time was the best yet. My 19-year-old garbage disposal jammed up and I couldn't fix it myself. I had a serviceman at my home within 72 hours of reporting my issue. He diagnosed the problem, determined the disposal could not be fixed, and I had a replacement garbage disposal that day! I could not be more pleased and will definitely be renewing my policy when the time comes.

The guy that came, sorry I forgot his name came earlier than expected but that was ok because someone was at home. I had to work. He was good. He communicated with me all the way. When he got there he let me know what he was going to be doing and will call me back to let me know what the problem was and he did and he did. It didn't take him long. Only thing I didn't like was it was going to take 2 to 3 weeks before getting the parts. Other than that the guy was really nice.

I got an appt., but the analyst came over without first calling. Luckily, I just happened to be home after a morning appt. My claim was denied on not regular wear and tear, which I thought didn't apply. I was supposed to hear from a rep assigned to this, but he was supposed to be in touch today and has not been.

I called because a bulb burst in my bedroom ceiling fan. My granddaughter was in the room at the time, and luckily she wasn't hurt, as shreds of the bulb landed everywhere. The electrician checked the electrical and said everything was in order. He said ceiling fan bulbs should be changed yearly, which I didn't know and will be replacing all my ceiling fan bulbs. The electrician was on time, polite and knowledgeable. Only reason it wasn't five stars is I didn't appreciate being charged an extra 3% for using a credit card. Expenses like these are never planned, and being a senior on a fixed income, this is the only way I could cover it.

I didn't believe that my case manager was very accurate on the price to replace my washer. Your company decided that it was more economical to replace my washer than repair it. The price for replacement quoted by the case manager is less than half the actual cost of any similar models available at Lowe's or Home Depot around me. I'm not a satisfied customer.

We had a few items our tenants didn't report to us were having issues. Primarily the toilet and the garage door. Choice Home Warranty was able to tackle these quickly and efficiently. After submitting the case, we were on the calendar for repair the next day. The service providers were professional and easy to work with to get things reported and covered.

Had 2 techs come out. First one sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He said he called it in to his supervisor because he could not get ok to fix defrost and fan. Said the Samsung are known for these problems. Waited another week for another tech to come out. He said we needed “Gaskets” and that should take care of problem. I have done a light check to see if all gaskets were sealing and they were. He said that gaskets aren't covered and would cost $700 to replace. He recommended that I purchase and fix them. Not the reason that I have Home Warranty and I know it is not the issue. Went through Thanksgiving with a Fridge that doesn’t work and now have to either “TRY” the gaskets before they will come back out or buy a new unit for Christmas. RIDICULOUS!

This company is a scam. You never want to cover anything, but have no problem taking your payment on time. I was even upsold to cover more things and my deductible increased during that time and still my claim was denied. I have made 2 total claims and both were denied initially and with a few appeals I finally got some of my money back for the washer claim.

Do not purchase a home warranty from this company. Save your $612 for the year and pay for your own appliance when it fails and you need to replace it. The button release mechanism to open the door of my built-in microwave stopped working and the door is stuck shut. A technician came out and submitted a report that the microwave needs to be replaced. CHW denied my claim and said that I somehow damaged the button mechanism and it failed to work. I had to set an appointment to speak with a case manager to appeal my claim and the case manager was 10 minutes late for my appointment. The case manager was not even willing to call the technician to verify the report. The whole experience was frustrating and insulting. Do not purchase from this company! This is a scam company! Save your money! The only reason I gave them one star is because I had to in order to submit the review.

When the service man replaced the wax ring seal, he found the porcelain toilet bowl hold down plastic screws deteriorated and no longer effective. He recommended that the toilet be replaced, his description evidently used the phrase rusted with THE PORCELAIN TOILET AND PLASTIC BOLTS RUST IS NOT A POSSIBILITY. HIS CHOICE OF WORDS IS WHAT YOUR DENIAL IS BASED ON.

The Plumber Called ahead when on his way. He arrived on time. Checked out the problem, and got the job done. He was very pleasant and Very Helpful! I would use him again and I hope he takes any plumber calls that come into CHW. Hard to find anybody to take the calls. He got there and repaired the problems with the toilet tank valve.

Love My AC tech came, Dec 1, 2021 in clean white shirt with smile on his face (Dyrell) to introduce himself. Well manner. Starts checking on my AC units, found out one of the ACs were low in freon. A preventive maintenance came to a play on Dec. 6 2021 (Dyrell with another tech) came with a cylinder of freon. The two tech are both in clean red shirt uniform, add more refrigerants in the system. Check the indoor temperature. Bravo Solo job well done. Note: They didn't check the inside of the air handler.

I’ve had several technicians' service issues. This issue had been checked before and I got no solution. Of all the techs sent out, Titus is by far the most professional and knowledgeable. He was punctual and had great communication skills. He checked the system and determined the problem and had the parts and repaired the same day. He had a smile when he arrived and and respect to match Made the experience peaceful. I’d recommend his company highly.

Tension pulley (mechanism that make drum turn) broke causing belt to break as well. Per CHM this is not due to normal wear and tear. Well I'm confused how would the drum turn without it. To dry clothes the drum MUST turn. Policy states ALL parts and components covered. Email received stated the same but CHM would not repair. So I'm spending monthly payments for nothing. This company sucks and I will not refer to anyone. #RIPOFF

I put in my claim this morning 12/8/2021 and now see that the earliest that someone will be at my home is 12/16/2021. In the past I was very happy with the response time. The serviceman would come over on the day I called.

I put the service call in on Monday and the repair was scheduled for Wednesday. The service was very prompt. The technician was very professional. The technician replaced a seal in a Maytag washing machine. I would recommend Choice Home Warranty to a friend.

Our dryer was working, but not heating properly. Technician #1 arrived on Nov. 29 and said the dryer was working, we just needed to have the ducts cleaned. Moments later (after hearing a loud pop and smelling electrical smoke), he stated there was some type of short. Technician #1 told us to buy the replacement cord (because he had checked and that's where the shortage was) and have it installed at the next appointment. At this point, we had NO dryer. The next day 11/30, a Technician #2 came out, and seemed surprised that someone had been there before. Technician #2 said the new cord was damaged while he attempted to install it ($30 down the drain), and there was actually a short INSIDE the dryer.
(So when did that happen, since the dryer was working before Technician #1 arrived.) He also said the necessary part was no longer available, so we were approved for a replacement dryer. Great, right? Not really. The claims approval email came almost immediately for $335. I think we all know $335 is not nearly enough to replace a frontload dryer! We initially declined the $335 offer and requested a rep be assigned to dispute our claim. The assigned claims person emailed us shortly thereafter requesting that we use a link to schedule a 15-minute appointment to speak with her. There were no appointments for 10 days out. We have repeatedly emailed the claims person and have received absolutely no response.
We decided to cut our losses, not go 10-15 days without a dryer, go ahead and make the $800 purchase, and then just accept the $335 claim amount. After accepting the offer, we received an email stating we would get an e-gift card for $335 in 30 days. What a joke. This has all been incredibly frustrating. We were with another home warranty company for 20 years and decided to give Choice a try. We paid the 3-year premium upfront. Starting to feel very sorry that we did that.

Received an Email at 11.30am as promised and the Appointment was set for this coming Monday morning between 11 am and 3 pm. Can't get any better service than that. I had a used ss glass top stove operating in great condition. I've had Choice Warranty for almost a year when the timer and top element failed to work. The selected technician that came by was very professional and recommended that a replacement stove be issued. Choice contacted me with an offer of $338.00, which isn't even 1/3 the cost of a replacement stove. I excepted the offer only to be told that the funds would be issued in the form of a Lowe's gift card which I though was unprofessional and down right tacky. I have yet to receive the gift card after a weeks time. I will continue to use Choice until I have an experience that I consider grossly unreasonable. Although I wasn't thrilled with the whole experience, it was USED STOVE, but again I still have not received the funds offered, so the "Jury's Still Out!".

I foolishly wrote about my pleasant experience before the assignment was completed. This is in reference to claim #**. The first part of this claim was so satisfactory that I was sure the second part would be also. The repair main stated that he did not have the necessary tool to repair the bathtub and that he would return on Monday, November 28th. Today is Wednesday, December 8th and I am still waiting. I called several times to no avail. I contacted CHW and I am still waiting for them to take action and complete the job I paid for them to do. Is anyone coming?

Was thorough on explanation of services. Offered different payment options. Went over items covered and extra items covered such as Freon and cosmetic issues covered through policy. Service charge is $65 instead of the $125 I currently pay. Also the fact they offer same day service 7 days a week.

I canceled the Choice Warranty This morning and ask for my credit and I was told that takes more than two weeks to get my money to my credit card plus I asked for an email to be sent to me (**) with the cancellation number and never got it. Is not that I don't want to buy it but is because my wife wants to take care of it herself. Thank you! (**). The lady that talk to me was not that nice.

This is not the first time I’ve had Choice Home Warranty for a home. I’ve never had any issues with the company, which is why I chose to get back with Choice Home Warranty, after the warranty expired that was transferred over with the new home that we had purchased. The very first time I needed to file a claim, it was denied, for a reason that made absolutely no sense. This is not the way I expected to start my relationship back with Choice Home Warranty. I am really second guessing my choice of making this my home warranty company. It’s bad enough that we have to deal with the hassle of having something mess up in the home and then have to deal with an unreasonable denial of a claim.

The technician came at the appointed time, introduced himself, checked the unit in question thoroughly and explained his findings, and answer our questions. We don’t know anything about HVAC but he pointed out things that were questionable, safety hazards and included his recommendations and quote. He is also nice and considerate of our time when we asked for a reschedule. Also wasted no time, He is coming back Saturday to fix all the things the previous tech messed up installing our HVAC units.

When I picked Choice I was told that if things could not be fixed it would be replaced at no cost. My first thing that needed help with was my furnace. When I called in for service I was told Furnaces are not handled that way. I am not happy.

Choice Home Warranty overall gives great help. We have used them several times. The only problem is the services dates change. I don't believe that this is the fault of Choice. There might be a problem with the repair being need, but the contractor will not provide service for two to three days.

The technician was on time and even called to see if it was a good time to come. Upon arrival, he diagnosed the problem (leaking water from commode tank) and put in a new flush valve which he had in his truck and solved the issue. He cleaned any water spilled and was gone in about 30 minutes. He was very courteous and professional all the time.

I can’t say I’m very pleased with my experience. While I appreciate some aspects of my home warranty, for the amount of claims I have filed I’ve not had many things fixed. In this market, home buyers have to take some risk when purchasing a home and, unfortunately, it makes it easy for companies like this to take advantage of dysfunctional components that were overlooked during the home inspection. I’m grateful we were able to negotiate the sellers paying for our warranty, but if it was money out of my own pocket I would be pretty pissed off (even more-so than I already am). At this point, I would not recommend this company for a home warranty, even the most expensive package which is what we got.

The repair was hindered by the slow response of the insurance company to cover the repair. The technician was great. The insurance made every effort to effect the cheapest repair causing a delay for both the repair company and myself. Insurance seems like a good idea until you have to use it.

I contacted CHW to repair a burner on my high end JennAir radiant 36 inch cooktop. A technician came out and determined that the part necessary was unavailable. CHW agreed to replace. A day later they offer me $300.00 for a $2000 cooktop. I tried to communicate with someone of over a week, sent numerous emails and left a dozen messages, only to get a phone call from the resolution department that I would have a $3000 check in 30 days. Total scam company, do not waste your money!!

We have a clogged pipe from the kitchen sink. Choice says that because the plumber doesn't have access to the site of the clog (behind a wall) that it won't be covered. The warranty was a huge waste of money.

An appointment was made for Saturday Dec 4 to check out our heating unit. They were a no call no show. I called Energy Saver on Monday since you guys would not answer their phone. Energy Saver had a Tech. out in 20 minutes. Found a freon leak on the outside unit and a small on on the coils inside. They are calling me back at 8:30 this morning on a price of new system. I believe this is why we pay you a monthly fee for better service. What happened?

Tech was thorough and professional, although he showed up a day early without prior notice. Seems he had the wrong phone# so he couldn't contact me. The Technician arrived on time; he initially asked what my concerns were with my home's heating system. I explained the front of the house was warm, but the rear of the house was noticeably cooler on every level. I showed him where the Heater was, he went right to work; first, checking the entire system then he began draining the system, once that was done, I could hear the heater clicking and the baseboard heating system immediately warmed the dining room and kitchen also started warming up.
Shortly, after that, the Technician came upstairs and placed his open hands along the baseboard heating elements they were warm to the touch, he then went to the bedrooms which, were cold earlier, but were now also warm. He came back downstairs where I was sitting in the Dining Room and asked how it felt, temperature wise. I was totally comfortable and very happy with his work ethic and his total professionalism. He was polite, courteous and he listened to what I had to say, then he went about his business of repairing the heating system. He asked if I had any questions for him, at this point I asked him who I make this check payable to... we both laughed, I was thoroughly satisfied.

The individual was within the time scheduled. He informed me immediately the fan went bad, and it would need replacement. Then he informed me that the warranty would not pay for the fan cost but a portion. I wish I would have better known that information. My fan was $500 that I had to replace.

I'm being more than fair as I'm writing this. I'm very upset and disappointed that Choice home warranty has not replaced my furnace after 3 different technician suggested the replacement of the furnace. They (choice home) still refuse to replace it after numerous pictures and diagnosis been sent to let them know what the issue is. CO2 is still dangerously been expelled from the vents and my tenants are afraid to turn it on. It's been about a month already and technicians have told me the company is not gonna replace the unit based on their experience. By the way, I'm still paying monthly on top of the $45 they deduct every time they send a technician. Ridiculous! I'm calling BBB.

The main shut off valve on my property is dripping and Choice denied fixing it although the technician said it should be no problem since they had just fixed one similar. It’s just a water valve that needs to be cut, replaced, and sweated and Choice said no. This is not the valve which the city owns. I might have to look into another home warranty service if this can’t be resolved. Probably less than a $10 part that needs repaired.

Since July 26th, yes July, I have been trying to resolve the malfunction of my refrigerator. It is a very expensive brand so I thought the insurance might be a good thing. First they sent me a guy to fix it and he replaced one part. It still did not work and he came back two more times and said he would order parts. Told me parts were on backorder until November 4. I tried calling him but he does not answer my calls. I called Choice back and told them that the guy they sent didn't know what he was doing. They then offered to find another technician so when I saw the email that they were sending Sears Service Department over I knew right away there was to be concern. I called Sears to ask if they worked on Dacor refrigerators and they said, "we do not." I called Choice many, many more times and they said they would find another technician.
Last week I get the notice that Sears is coming to fix the problem...I said, WT... So I've been on the phone with SE Asia all morning telling them not to send Sears as they do NOT work on these refrigerators, transfer... transfer... three more times. Then to New Jersey where I'm suppose to have a case manager but he has never called me back NOR can I reach him by phone. I had an apartment refrigerator in the garage all summer but today it is -04 outside. I had to unplug it for the winter plus I don't feel like shoveling every time I need an egg.
This is a ridiculous adventure and I'm getting nowhere darn fast. The complete refusal to deal with this problem should let others be aware of this scam company. And BTW... I did get a text two weeks ago offering me 900.00 as a replacement cost (which their policy states if they cannot fix it they will replace it) I sent them model numbers and brand for this built in refrigerator freezer with custom panels... Actual new price for high end and Sub Zero brand similar to this Dacor is 10-12,000.00. Nine hundred would pay only for the panels.

I have called this company on 3 separate occasions. The first time they were not able to send a tech to check my fridge. I called to cancel my policy but they will not cancel my auto draft. They raised my monthly fee but they did not call to tell me it was going up. My Dryer quit and they do not want to replace it or fix it so they want to low ball me. It cost $548 + Tax + insurance for a new one but they are only sending me $458. They still have not canceled my monthly draft.

Initially I used Choice's 'voice mail system' to initiate a request for repair, but I had difficulty hearing/understanding the prompts & questions due to being somewhat hard-of-hearing, as well as having to deal w/ incoming calls on my cell phone, etc. while replying to those questions. I then called and spoke w/ one of your claim representatives (Jerry ID #**), and advised him re: that I may not have clearly replied to some of the questions when prompted by your 'voice mail system', and that I wanted to correct any of my responses. Jerry was polite, professional, and quickly handled my request too.

Thought since appliance went down over holiday the wait would be lengthy. No, called Tuesday and serviceman here by Friday. The company called arriving early. The tech was nice. He found the problem, a small plastic tab clogging up the drain hose. He finished, showing me the tab and that the dishes washer drained. Paid and done. I am happy.

I have been pretty consistently disappointed with Choice HW but the techs from Helton were great. Choice looks for any chance to deny a claim and forgoes logic and common sense to do so. I filed a claim to move my septic sprinkler head for cosmetic reasons. They denied that and I understand. However, they know use that as an excuse to deny further claims. They denied a claim for an air pump because I still haven’t moved the sprinkler head. It’s absurd and I won’t be renewing.

Choice had me find my own service technician which was fine, so I did and he said it needs replaced, so we sent pictures and they denied the claim because it wasn't fixable, CHW said it was rusted because of lack of maintenance which is far from wrong as every 6 months I drain it as I was told by the plumber who installed it 6 1/2 years ago, CHW said it has too much sediment and isn't covered, however, the plumber said there is no sediment and the rust in the front was because of a weld that had failed internally likely 2 years ago that was slowly leaking because of heat expansion as he has seen many do just that over his 40 years in the business, and most of those have been in heaters less than 10 years old. I have appealed the denial and will see if the adjuster from CHW is more honest.

Since I am a new customer of Choice Home Warranty, this was my first claim experience. It was simple to file on line and an appointment was scheduled. I received a confirmation right away. For some reason, the appointment was cancelled (I don't know by whom), and I received the new appointment confirmation for one day later than originally. This was no problem for me, however. On the day of the appointment I received a call from the technician and given an ETA. He arrived on time and fixed my washer on a short amount of time. He was excellent. I am happy with my first experience.

Had problem, I called the company that they told me would fix my problem and wanted to make sure they do repairs on mobile homes. Yes they did but after 24 hours they still did not have a work order from Choice. So had to call and within an hour the company got the order. I did have to wait several days until they came. Problem was solved and the tech that the Company sent was efficient, polite and cleaned up the work area. The length of time it took to get someone out here was the problem.

I have been a customer for years & file one claim & now you do not want to pay my claim--there is no kitchen faucet that will not have rust after being used for several years---a faucet without rust would be a new one and for a new one you would not file a claim--so think about this long and hard and pay my claim and the price of my faucets.

The repair technician was on time and friendly. He worked quickly and explained what was wrong with the dryer and showed me the part he replaced. Credit card payment was easy and a receipt was sent straight from the technician.

The repair person came out this past Thursday and today Saturday the water problem has come back. There is still water leaking from my dishwasher. It’s making major damage to apt under me. There must be another pipe that needs to be replaced. Please send out help.

Water damage claim file after 11:00 pm on a Friday. Early Saturday morning I received a text from Choice Warranty with claim number and company who will be doing the service. The same day a Technician from the company called advising the time and the day they will be arriving. I highly recommend this company to anyone who’s looking for a home warranty.

Washing machine (Whirlpool) kept giving an error code (F24) which kept the machine from operating. I obtained a claim number from Choice and they were in touch with me by phone the next day and the repairman called the same day. He came out the next day. The washing machine needs a part that he ordered. I will let you know when the part comes in and is installed by Choice. Service to this point has been very good.

I called with furnace leaking water causing damage. It took 3 a long time to get an appointment set up and it was 3 days to get someone here. This furnace is 1 year old. It was installed new from your so called technicians and he was a joke. This had been the 2nd time in a year that someone has been out on this new furnace. The companies you Send for repairs are not local and I feel they are idiots. I will say the young man that came for furnace water leak was okay.

The appointment occurred within two days of my request for service. Very friendly guy and my oven works well now. This was a very different experience than I had trying to get my garbage disposal repaired however. I had a problem getting the appointment and the contractor had a lot of difficulty with CHW.

My first call ever to fix the broken rack for my dishwasher and it was denied. It said it only covers due to wear and tears which is exactly how the plastic part on the upper rack was broken. I will cancel my premium and request a full refund!

Was told by the the technician that Choice sent to replace the broken piece on the stovetop that Choice didn't approved the replacement for the part. And it would cost me the $45.00 for him coming out for nothing. Then we buy the part our selves and the cost would be around $60.00 for the part and for him to come back to replace another $45.00. And NO I am not happy about the decision Choice made not wanting to replace the stovetop.

I had a few claims with CHOICE. They provided answers and solutions to my repair claims in efficient and professionally matter. When they couldn't provide a licensed professional to complete the repair, they presented me with the alternative to find my own professional, pay them and then they reimbursed my expenses as previously agreed.

I really could NOT refer your Company to anyone. Your service and your customer service is way below average. When someone comes to your home, and later you tell me that he wasn't qualified to do the service, because of the feedback he had made, then schedule another appointment with a confirmation saying today is your appointment and never show up. And that was black Friday... I stayed home all day, and I missed all the great sales for X-mas. The second (2) Guys were really good, but I still have to wait for a replacement part that is discontinued. Good luck with that. I'll probably get screwed on that too!

For the last two claims I've had the technician had to communicate with CHW. In both instances they were told they would receive a call back in 10 minutes. In the one case it took five hours and yesterday it took 6 hours. I believe this is an unreasonable time for a technician to have to wait for a response. And that is why I will be terminating my contract with chw.

They offered me a low value for my dishwasher with Lowe's gift card in lieu of replacing it. Anyway, I accepted the offer planning to to do some shopping for dishwasher on Black Friday. Surprisingly enough, its website said I will need to wait for a month to receive the gift card. Now Black Friday is long way gone and I still don't receive that Lowe's gift card. I had a claim with them a long long time ago for a microwave issue, at that time, they offered cash for it and it was quick. It seems it's getting unfriendly to customers.

My furnace in not emitting heat. The thermostat needs replacing. We have a newborn baby visiting us (our grandchild; one month old today). The dead of winter is coming up. I called a technician to come out. He has to get some type of fan to emit the heat (and get a new thermostat). He should be back in a few hours to fix it once he gets the parts.

Well, so far, I am very dissatisfied with Choice Home Warranty. About to cut off the service, actually. Anytime you call, no one is able to give you a solid answer. Good luck speaking to a supervisor. None around supposedly. I am a new customer and they initially got my name wrong, email address wrong. I was not getting any correspondence at all. They do not follow through as promised. I've been waiting now 3 days to even hear back from an AC claim that I submitted. No clue when it will be taken care of. The people they sent out to fix it are brain dead. EMS Home Services is awful. And now I am stuck waiting on them to do their job which is already now two days late. VERY DISSATISFIED WITH BOTH CHOICE AND THE COMPANY THEY SENT TO MY HOME.

I pay the plumping service twice. Do refund. Did fix my sump pump or furnace then got mad because I complain about I paid the guy twice pay. Furnace 1 time plumping pay 2 time. I have other friend have this service. I told them about they are thinking about this company because I got nothing fix.

Choice was a little slow in getting a technician for a heater throwing out cold air vs warm. After 2 days of hearing nothing I called them. The problem was there was no available technician. The next day they found a technician in another town. I am pleased with the technician who came out. He communicated well, was on time, and got the heater heating once again.
